Not on the Web, but on the Internet. A bunch of AOL sites are still up. If you make a new AOL account with an 8 or less character username and password, and download AOL 5 from here (it works on Windows 7 64 bit), you can browse around if you set your connection to TCP-IP. Unfortunately, a lot of stuff is broken and they took their keyword service offline. Fortunately, I have a copy of the AOL channel find by topic section url (paste into the AOL 5 URL bar):
aol://4344:1579.bytop.12321197.516664431
If that's too hard, here's an album of most of the stuff I could find through browsing around.
If you work for AOL, don't be a party pooper and take this offline.
Has an archive of older versions of software. So if you ever accidentally updated your software and it then suddenly sucked you can go back and get an older version of it.
This is a good example of why YSK about oldversion.com, which allows you to download previous releases of software. It's most useful for going back to the version right before a program got bloated, be it by spyware or features.
For instance, they have versions of Daemon Tools to June of 2005.
The later versions with a classic skin really fixes all of the bullshit from around v3. 5.666 works just fine for me as a classic fan. That said, oldversion.com/windows/winamp. Choose whichever version you want.
> In my opinion it looks much nicer as well.
Skype 4.2 doesn't support 720p or other high-def resolutions. I've found that Skype 5.9.x.132 is much better in this regard. It's a bit bigger, but still no ads and HD to boot! (win-win!)
Unplug that drive. Now.
When you're not high, plug it back in as the second drive and run some recovery software.
I used this one with great results once years ago... GetDataBack ~~http://www.diskinternals.com/ntfs-recovery/~~
Old version (was still free) http://www.oldversion.com/windows/getdataback-data-recovery/
...but I only mention it so that some random redditor will correct my suggestion with something better.
I'm sure that people will be hosting/sharing the best 32 bit versions. Plenty of people appreciate old versions of software, and there are a good amount of people that like to repourpose old hardware.
Also, the title is a bit click-baity. Last paragraph says there's a 32 bit version with support planned until 2021.
Here's a better way:
Step 1. Google "utorrent 2.2.1"
Step 2. Download and install old version of uTorrent that doesn't have ads and currency miners and crap in it.
Or just go here and get it.
If this site is right you are using a 15 years old software. Who know why it's abbreviated. Maybe they use a deprecated API call and get weird result. Maybe your temp isn't exactly temp but have some non ascii character and ACDsee can display it right.
> BUT PLEASE don't use µtorrent. Yes everybody is using it, you don't have to - most of the parts are closed source, the client was taken away from the inventor and some mysterious devs are working on this tool now.
You can get old versions from http://www.oldversion.com/. I didn't like how some applications were adding "features" so I rolled back to previous versions.
If you hate that an update to your favourite software broke it, please go to the above website and download an old version of the same software.
EDIT : Corrected Typos.
>Have fun with the bitcoin miners that uTorrent gives you.
Or, you know, use an old version that doesn't have this problem, like 2.2.1. The last good version and the one I use to this day.
If you're on such a tight budget, look on your local Craigslist for a Dell optiplex. Like an Optiplex 755 or something. Just search for "dell optiplex". It's cheap ($30-100) and comes with a genuine operating system. Find one that has at least 4GB ram. These are super super common and cheap!
For a dedicated graphics card, just get an AMD Radeon on Craigslist too. You can get a 1GB vram card for as low as $10-20. Nvidia cards are resold for much more than they are worth!
If you're using a desktop right now, just switch the peripherals over. Save yourself those $200!!
Try this site for older software versions http://www.oldversion.com
I'd HIGHLY recomend fences.
http://www.oldversion.com/windows/fences/
(The new version hes less free features)
Even if you don't use the grouping, double click to hide will work great for you.
I downgraded a friend's laptop (Vista) to Skype 3.8 because the latest Skype version would simply crash every time she tried to make a call. Found it on this website:
I haven't thought about Trillian in years. Its kind of sad to hear its gone to shit now...
Can't you just use an older version? I don't really IM much anymore. I mostly use Hangouts or Facebook to talk to people.
http://www.oldversion.com/windows/skype-4-2-0-187
Should get you all set, after jtl999's fix:
>Here's how you fix it. Before uninstalling Skype backup your current shared.xml. Put it in the %appdata%\Skype folder after installing. Then login.
From what I understand, they are no longer going to release new versions of the client. That's okay with me because I've been using a really old version that I got from here
However, it sounds like this is the beginning of the end of aim. No more new clients, then they stop doing support, and next thing you know they shut down the servers.
More and more people are using Facebook chat these days, and I think it took a large chunk out of AIM's userbase. I have been using AOL/AIM since back in the day when it was pay per hour and I had a 14.4k modem. I've gone through many screen names and a long long time ago dropped the AOL service, but to loose AIM will be a sad day for me.
I remember installing a 'gold' version of navigator on Win3.1; which would have been like navigator version 3. Old versions are available here: http://www.oldversion.com/windows/netscape/
Almost none of the modern internet will render on these old browsers though.
It's normal to have multiple svchost.exe processes.
Sure, malware can masquerade as svchost.exe, but then again it can also pick any other name, including other Windows processes, so it's not something to go on. Scan with an antivirus like Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, Avast, Avira, or reinstall the OS if you want to be sure.
As to whether it's still doing it:
The uTorrent developers said they stopped bundling that particular bitcoin mining program, but AFAIK they still have app advertisements so it's only a matter of time until it happens again. You should switch to an open source torrent client like qBittorrent, Transmission, Deluge, but if you must use uTorrent downgrade to version 2.2.1 and stick with that.
Also keep in mind that it was a separate program, if it already got installed removing or installing another uTorrent version won't affect it.
I must correct myself; I believe the oldest version AOL will let you sign on with is 6.0. Get it here: http://www.oldversion.com/windows/america-online/
A nice bonus is when you put in your screen name and password, the software will automatically now list all of your screen names. You'll see ones you didn't even remember you had.
I would do anything to be able to sign on to 2.5 and 3.0 again.
If you really have no choice other than to use uTorrent (maybe for some super rare material you have only found on one specific tracker that demands uTorrent), just get an older version from a website such as http://www.oldversion.com/windows/utorrent/ (search around to find out what is the latest "safe" version).
Still, I recommend using something else. I personally use qBittorrent.
The uTorrent 2.2.1 series is universally accepted by all private trackers and is also 100% ad-free.
I've been using build 25302, which is the last version in the 2.2.1 series of uTorrent, for about 4 years now with zero issues.
Go here to download it:
...or here:
NOTE: if you get a Chrome security warning when trying to access the uTorrent 2.2.1 download page, don't worry about it, it's a false positive. On the Chrome warning page, click on "Details" (lower left) and then "visit this site" (lower right) to go through to the oldapps page.
Once uTorrent 2.2.1 is downloaded and installed, make sure to disable updates.
Options > Preferences > General > Privacy >
[uncheck] Check for updates automatically
[uncheck] Update to beta versions
Enjoy!
I think that database is compiled in the GPU-Z program. Not online database.
Try this. Get an older version of GPU-Z.
This one for example http://www.oldversion.com/windows/gpu-z-0-0-7
It shows 4 ROPs.
Or this version http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/2398/techpowerup-gpu-z-v0-7-9/mirrors
It shows 32 ROPs
If it was pulling it from the driver or the BIOS it would show the correct number. It's an offline database.
GPU-Z v0.8.2 will probably change this to be reported as 52 ROPs without nvidia touching anything.
OldVersion link for the lazy. As of right now, it has 470 different builds of uTorrent, dating back to 1.1.3 from October 2, 2005.
OldVersion also has links at the top of each of the several hundred programs it tracks that will let you download the most recent and the most popular versions. The latter of those two will let you figure out exactly when a program went to shit.
Even Winamp is getting pretty bloated these days... seriously, who needs a web browser in their media player?
If you want a more lightweight Winamp, go back and get one of the old versions at http://www.oldversion.com/Winamp.html
I forget which version I'm using at home (away from home presently), but looking online I see some love for version 2.95, so maybe that is the one.
nLite is a life saver for integrating updates and hotfixes into the installation ISO for people comfortable with remastering Windows XP installation media. Not only does it make the updates already built into the installation ISO, it also saves space since the operating system won't be bloated with uninstallers and extra System Restore checkpoints.
And best of all, you won't have to sit and wait for fucking ever to install all these updates every time you need to install XP.
Here's a link to nLite 1.4.9.1 for Windows XP:
http://www.oldversion.com/windows/nlite-1-4-9-1
Disclaimer - Skill Level: Advanced
I do know why. They're trying to collect every version to have every version. Here's a similar project: http://www.oldversion.com/
Do you think there's no need for any old versions of any programs, even the earliest ones? Operating systems? Virii?
The old computer stuff was MUCH harder than you'd expect.
I (Dylan) spent quite a while on that stuff. It's a combination of old hardware (soon put to the side, only to be used as on-camera props - too hard to get networking going, difficult to capture and manipulate screen images), emulation and visual effects.
I had a fully working copy of Windows 98se in a virtual machine on my laptop, which made screen capture easy. I found old software from oldversion.com - getting as close as possible to the correct versions for what I was trying to create. But because the VirtualBox guest OS addons don't work with Windows 98, and network file shares with a system that old are a problem too, it was generally easiest to download the installers directly in the VM.
But basically no old software from the late 1990s works at all on the modern internet. Protocols have changed too much. But there is a product called SeaMonkey which is basically a continuation of the old Mozilla suite. So I used that to download software onto the virtual machine, then ran it as best I could and made up the rest.
For the newsgroup stuff I think I spent a few hours trying to find public NNTP servers that would allow an old version of Mozilla to connect, and then pulled up various newsgroups to use as a reference. What you actually see in the film was screen captures of that, but with content created in Photoshop and animated in After Effects.
The specific usenet messages shown were recreated from archives I found in Google Groups (although last I checked the search functionality on there is very broken now).
It was a fun part of the project, and a good distraction from some of the less fun parts.
EDIT: I just checked - looks like Google Groups searches work again. You can search for old Terri Tickle stuff yourself now :)
2.2.1 build 25302 is still widely regarded as the best last version to use before it went downhill.
http://www.oldversion.com/windows/utorrent-2-2-1-25302
I don't know anything about this qBittorrent malarkey.
UTorrent 2.21 is an older version that worked great before they stuffed it full of crap. You can still download that - http://www.oldversion.com/windows/utorrent-2-2-1-2 and it does everything you need without the hassle
La 2.2.1 build 25302 esiste ancora in giro.
391kb di eseguibile e null'altro, e funziona da dio nonostante sia del 2011, è senza pubblicità e senza miner, e la uso senza problemi.
The Wilderness Downtown was apparently released at the end of August 2010 and intended to be experienced in Google Chrome. So first thing that comes to mind is that you could try downloading an old version of Chrome and then try accessing the site from it.
I looked for old versions of Chrome and found this handy repository: http://www.oldversion.com/windows/google-chrome/
I have no idea whether this will work or not (make a Restore Point before trying anything funny if you're on Windows) but if you do try I'd love to know if it does. That website was for me too one of the very first things that got me interested in the band. Good luck!
Download uTorrent, but don't use the most current version of the software. Google it and you'll see why. Verison 2.2.1 is probably the best; you can find it here: http://www.oldversion.com/windows/utorrent/
Add this RSS feed: http://kat.cr/usearch/user%3Asmcgill1969/?rss=1
Set it to automatically download all new items in the feed and turn on smart episode filter.
OR, if you don't want to download everything in his feed (it includes some other motor-racing stuff), then follow the instructions here to setup filters. Also good if you if prefer the SD or HD version of the download.
I did some google searched and it turned up some cnet, softpedia, and other risky sites.
You can try this one at oldversions. I've had pretty decent results with that site. It's where I usually grab software that has been ruined with adware and other garbage by the developers.
It's fairly simple. DirectX is a collection of tools that programmers use to make games (for example, it includes Direct 3D for drawing, Direct Input for reading the mouse and keyboard, etc.). You might hear when major versions of DirectX come out. The most current version is DirectX 11. Every time one of these major releases come, graphics processor manufacturers have to make new versions of their processors to support new features from those major version updates. So it's kind of a big deal.
But there are also smaller updates that have bugfixes or minor features that Microsoft releases under the same version number. For example, if you go here, you can see the releases that DirectX 9 had. There was 9a, b, and c, and c had a number of releases within itself. I'm not positive if this was every version of DX9, but it shows you that there are lots of them.
So every time you're installing DirectX, it's because you probably don't have the correct version that the game uses. You might have DirectX version x.y, but not version x.z.
First make sure it’s not installed. Start menu > type “windows media player”. If it doesn’t come up, on to step 2
Part B: someone else posted the steps, here’s the source: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/14209/get-windows-media-player
And number 4: you can check out the older versions here http://www.oldversion.com/windows/windows-media-player/
There is a way to hide it, but I can't recall off the top of my head. The "Add/Remove Program" entries are in the registry somewhere. I'll Google it when I get a chance.
You can also edit/remove them with CCleaner. Not all of them, but the majority of them (I think Metro apps are the ones you can't edit/remove).
Edit: Here it is! The title just says "remove", but you can use the same keys to edit them as well. But it's a lot easier to do with CCleaner's interface so you don't have to know the GUID or search through them all. Also, I'd get a version of CCleaner from a few months back at oldversion.com. Their most recent releases have started going kinda overboard with ads.
Do you mean http://www.oldversion.com/windows/utorrent-2-2-1-25302 and http://www.oldapps.com/utorrent.php?old_utorrent=8134? The download link at oldapps.com is dead but the one from oldversion.com only offers a sponsored torrent on install. It does try to update to the latest version on first launch, make sure you're not accepting that. Most likely you clicked the wrong download link and got an adware installer.
I use Tixati, give it a try. Not open source and the interface takes some getting used to, but no BS that I can detect.
Here is how I would do it.
1. Make a back image immeditely on the Original XP Tablet.
2. Find another tablet that can run Windows XP.
3. Backup the Drivers on the new Tablet with something like Double Driver.
4. Restore/Copy all the new Tablet Drivers to the C:\Windows\INF folder on the Original XP Tablet.
5. Take an image of the Orginal XP Tablet with the new Tablet Drivers with preferred software. I like Ghost.
6. Restore image on the New XP Tablet perferably on a new SSD HD and boot into Windows XP.
7. Let Windows try to find the new drivers from the Windows/INF folder.
8. If it does not recongnize it then manually add them from the Windows/INF folder.
you can still d/l the old version and use it for old nostalgias sake. we should get an SN thread going and make some frens and chat rooms
http://www.oldversion.com/windows/aol-instant-messenger/
i use any of the ones from like 94 - 04
Should be, you can check fairly quickly anyway. OldVersion.com seems to be the best bet for it, they seem to have every major aol milestone.
Obviously the biggest question is whether you'll be able to sign in on the version you want- I know in modern AOL you can login using AIM credentials as long as you already have an internet connection, but i don't know how far back that support goes.
I should also mention the obvious- some websites/ may not work with an older version
> I didn't think Handbrake could target AVI anymore?
Aww crap, you're right; latest version is mp4 and mkv only.
~~op, disregard Handbrake, try WinFF instead.~~ No, you can still use handbrake, it just needs to be version 0.9.2 or earlier.
uTorrent 2.2.1 (25154) - Link to Old Software Versions
Anyone that changes to other garbage (including 3.x versions of uT are just being silly). uT 2.2.1 is still phenominal software. Like my grandpa always said, "If it don't need fixin' -- don't fuck with it."
OldVersion.com - I love this place. I go with utorrent 3.1.3 build 27443, before it got all fucked up.
Also great for old versions of itunes, when you need to recover that playlist from 2009.
Only thing I can think of that's similar is oldversion.com:
I don't see excel. You could try a web search for a file extension type. In google if you do filetype:<blah> it will search just for that file type.
There also appears to be a forum at oldversion.com; perhaps someone has asked a similar question there.
Not everyone wants to have the updated version. Newer isn't always better. I for one refuse to update my iTunes (and since I use Windows, apparently it will stay not-updated).
Google showed me this right away. Not sure why it was so hard for you to find.
http://www.oldversion.com/macintosh/download-Silverlight-4.0.60531.0.html
Downloaded fine for me (can't install though since I'm a long ways from 10.4.x).
Mine seems fine. There's a few proxy downloads lurking online as well, so you might want to "update" your version- will post a link when I'm not using my phone!
EDIT: Old versions are (appropriately) stored at oldversion.com here: http://www.oldversion.com/TweetDeck.html
Download.com used to be THE place to go. Unfortunately, corporate execs have no clue what the internet users do and don't want, so they ruined it all by coupling it with crapware.
I use http://www.filehippo.com now. You can even download previous versions (poor neglected http://www.oldversion.com).
Any of the old versions of Winamp, before it got all bloated with other stuff. It's unobtrusive, has a small memory footprint, and you can easily find and install plugins for pretty much any format you'd need to play (FLAC, MPC, SPC, etc).
I leave it in compressed form at the top of the screen at all times, makes it real easy to jump to another song, or just a quick click of the mouse + roll the mouse wheel down to lower the volume if I need to answer the phone or talk to someone real quick. Quick doubleclicks on it open it up full to change anything, or load more music. I generally leave the main player, and playlist exposed, Like so
Could be old habits dying hard, as I've always used it from way back in the day. To me all the other programs with tagging and album art and all that are just bloat. I don't need to tag my music by mood to know what I want to listen to. I open Winamp and play what I want to hear, I don't need suggestions or sorting from my program, I keep my music sorted well enough on my own on the drive itself.
So in summation, I would say it's great for listening to music. If you need an organizer, tagger, or anything else, perhaps look elsewhere.
Edit: formatting.
If it doesn't work, I'd recommend running a virtual Windows 98 SE in VMWare Player. If you need DirectX for it, the last version that works on Windows 98 SE is DirectX 9.0c Redistributable December 13, 2006.
well i learned everything from trial and error, so i don't entirely know what i'm talking about.
Your router is what you connect to the internet with, whatever sends your wireless internet signal(the thing downstairs). it was likely installed with your internet. If you own the router, check the connections and see if you can bring it upstairs or plug your computers directly into it and to the internet with another cable (or bring the computer hosting the server downstairs at least).
Ya with hamachi you need a internet connection, i believe minecraft is the same?(i seem to need a internet connection to connect) anyway, don't take my word on this, but i believe older versions of hamachi do not require an internet connection (http://www.oldversion.com/Hamachi.html). I remember using it to get lan working even though i did not have an internet connection, but i'm not entirely sure. Either way, i doubt it works over a directly connected network (i've always had problems with these, its almost always best to use a router)
If you can connect to minecraft without the internet (and can't set up your computers like i mentioned) try just disconnecting the router and bringing it upstairs, plug both computers into it and skip the internet connection. If this is your only option, let me know, theres a few steps required to connect (you'll need a static IP)
As server or as client? http://www.oldversion.com/windows/winscp/ and http://www.oldversion.com/windows/putty/ should work as client if you move to old enough version, if you want it to work as server, the ancient WinSSHD should work.
Nextcloud is the easiest & best looking option.
Under "External Storages", just add a SMB/CIFS share, and go nuts.
Alternatively, if you want to go super-retro, smb2www is in also in the Debian repository. Recommend using this with Netscape Navigator 4.7.
I know many new deadheads like to stream and that's all good but for those of us who want to download the best flac versions of shows torrenting on Etree or Losslesslegs.com is the way to go. If you want to check it out utorrent has always been grand for me BUT ONLY if you have THIS VERSION 2.2.1 from oldversion.com. The new version has malware and tricks you into changing shit. These GD Projects are great cuz Anon has updated with ALL current copies of shows. Some have 6-8 different copies or more and you check or rather UNcheck the boxes beside the show you want. For those who aren't sure about the best copy I'd say a good way to start is going with a Charlie Miller SBD, Hunter Seamom's Matris, Dusbourne Matrix, etc. If anyone ever wants advice of the best copy of a show feel free to PM me.
just find the exe bruh.
click this link if you trust me
http://www.oldversion.com/windows/download/utorrent-2-2-1-2
If you don't trust me google "utorrent 2.2.1" without quotes of course and click the first link or the second link...any of them really. If you click the first link, click the big green download button which will take you to the next screen then download will start automatically. It's a small .exe file. Then just install it.
Sure. I originally got it on oldversion.com, but the last time I checked I couldn't find it there.
Tell, me how to go about sharing it and I'll be glad to do it.
Unlocker will allow you to delete any file that is currently locked by a running process.
If it can't be deleted immediately, it will schedule deletion on reboot.
https://www.payphone-project.com/usps-mailboxes/index.html - Tells you where the closest USPS mailbox is to wherever you are.
http://www.iruler.net/ - This online ruler senses the size of your screen and gives you an accurate ruler to use.
http://www.oldversion.com/ - Pick a software title... to downgrade to the version you love
Sounds like you need something like this: http://www.oldversion.com/windows/mozilla-firefox/
I tend to keep 3.6.28 around (even better if you can make it a portable old version like https://mozilla-firefox-portable.en.uptodown.com/windows/old, then it doesn't screw up your other installs or auto-upgrade).
Use utorrent but download the version before adverts appeared. I haven't looked back.
Here's a link to download version 2.2.1. Just go to preferences and disable the auto-update, it's super stable and doesn't spam you with unnecessary apps and services.
Weird. What happens if you tell it not to restore? And what about using another program like MediaMonkey?
What version of iTunes too? If latest, try getting an older one at http://www.oldversion.com. Just know that when you search it'll show other programs before what you searched for first. Try version 10.whatever.
Yeah i ran into same thing. Researched and found that ET was blocking communication based on version of UT(3.3.2 i believe) i was using. I rolled back to 2.2.1 build 25302 which is said to be the best version and it is now working again. http://www.oldversion.com/windows/utorrent-2-2-1-build-25302. install then copy utorrent.exe from install location to appdata/utorrent overwritting existing. This will downgrade to that version. make backup of your current exe though incase you want to switch back. All feeds/settings remained the same.
What about http://www.oldversion.com/windows/google-chrome/?
Rather than connecting your fresh machine to the net, go to the library or steal someone's cell phone for a bit to download a bunch of offline installers, then keep them on a USB.
I just use a vst mp3 or wave player. Askywhale has an mp3 player with a playlist and some playback features. Short circuit and Short circuit 2 support pretty big wave and sfz files and come with some built in effects. If you don't like firing up your daw just to experiment with some monitoring VST Host is lightweight, free and starts up quick. Or just go to OldVersion.com and grab an older version of Winamp that works with VSTBridge. You might have to uninstall the newer version of Winamp first. I've also heard that Foobar 2000 has a VST plugin wrapper but i'm not sure, It's the media player that /r/audiophile seems to like and its skinnable.
5-8. Pretty sure those ran as free once the 8 hour trial expired.
http://www.oldversion.com/windows/google-sketchup/
With that said, 2015 should run on XP just fine, and I don't think you're going to get a performance boost with older versions.
Here's the link to my first result from google where I downloaded it:
http://www.oldversion.com/windows/utorrent-2-2-1-2
Oldversion.com is a popular website that collects install files for older versions of software. I can confirm that there's no malware or viruses on this download.
Honestly, Google is pretty solid if you're looking for something legitimate. It'll be in the first 3 links.
If I'm correct, you're looking for a website that shows your images of different UI's for various applications? Not sure there is anything like that--not that I can find anyway.
Only thing I can think is to go to oldversion.com, which often has changelogs for each update to a particular application, as well as you being able to download each version and see for yourself the differences in the UI.
You could always get an older version. That's what I've done because I started using Utorrent for a reason, and I prefer to stick with the classic.
If it becomes obsolete for some reason, then I'll move to one. I definitely won't support them by upgrading to the current versions with ads and all that nonsense.
If you are in Europe, you need the Global package, if in the US, you need the GSM package. There are only 2 packages in there.
Also, heed what these guys say about using iTunes after version 12.01, I'm still using iTunes 11.2.2.3. You can get almost any older version of iTunes from here.
For downloading TV shows, I recommend a site like http://showrss.info. You just sign up for an account, choose as many shows you want and the quality, then you just add 1 RSS feed to your client to download them all. I'm not affiliated with the site at all. Its just really convenient. Also, I'd recommend switching to uTorrent 2.2.1 (the last 2.X version) because 3.X runs like dog shit. I checked the MD5 of the file that site is providing and it matches the one I'm running.
Have you tried downgrading to an earlier version of Chrome? I've had the exact same problem (even the same time-frame) and downgrading fixed the problem for me. Not too sure about the ping though, this is only in regards to your FPS problems.
EDIT: http://www.oldversion.com/windows/google-chrome-26-0-1410-5-dev
That's the one I used.
EDIT #2: Just wanted to make sure you knew that you had to uninstall your current version of Chrome before installing the older one.
I recomend the old version of fences to everyone. (Latest free release is annoying)
Fences allows you to put all your desktop icons in custom groups. It also allows you to hide all your shortcuts until you need them. You can change the colours, size and position.
Try this:

It works great. I was having trouble with the newer versions of utorrent until someone here in r/torrents suggested this older version. It's been working great.
I'm still on a much older version of utorrent because of this. Here is the version I'm on: http://www.oldversion.com/windows/download/utorrent-2-2-1-25110
Pretty much with 3.0 it became much more bloated.
Uninstall Flash and then go to http://www.oldversion.com/Macromedia-Flash-Player.html to pick an older version. Do we aware that most Flash updates these days are for security holes, and running an older version will increase your odds of picking up some for of malware.
Dunno about the OP, here's my answer
edit: but it was almost a decade ago. If I had to re-learn I would start with Python
Vulnerabilities because it is a version old? Or because it comes from a site that archives old versions of installers. Mozilla has been inflating their version number to catch up with Chrome, so the changes between each version are minor.
Anyway, if you really want to, they give steps for having multiple versions of Firefox installed as well: http://www.oldversion.com/blog/how-to-install-and-run-multiple-versions-of-firefox/
Most likely a flash problem or interference with the other program. You could try an older version:
http://www.oldversion.com/Macromedia-Flash-Player.html
For youtube you could also try the html 5 trial: http://www.youtube.com/html5
Might be worth looking up some way to get and convert flash (flv) files.
I'm sure you mean ninite.com, but you might also be interested in OldVersion.com for older versions of popular programs and PortableApps for programs that you can run from a USB drive.
ExtremeMessenger and OldVersion.com, with any AIM v5.1.3036 (recommended) through 5.9, in case you want to visualize what might have been :)
If you really would like to try it give me your AIM name and I'll generate a free license key for you.
For me, 2.95. Plays any format you want (even FLAC with the correct plugin), its very small, low memory footprint and starts up very quick. All the later versions are very bloated for me. Find it here: http://www.oldversion.com/Winamp.html
And for playing video files, MPC (media player classic) for me, is the best. I don't like VLC a lot, because i cannot decode H.264 video with hardware acceleration with it, and neither i can apply pixel shaders to postprocess the video without a surge in cpu usage like i can with MPC.
Try booting some older live linux distro - probably off from CD drive, if it works :) see if you can access files from there.
Windows 95 used FAT file system, so HDD should be on the smaller side, less than 4 GB - you say you see HDD but not files? Did you try to make image out of it? Alternatively, you can boot live linux, more modern, on your PC and connect that HDD through USB adapter to linux, see if anything is visible.
Can you boot that PC? If you can, and if you have attached CD writer, you can write all files to a CD with software like Nero Burning Rom - you should find old version, though, something like v3 or v4. Alternatively, you can link it up to a network, and FTP it, or share it, although it was quite a long ago since I've last saw Windows 95 to say how to do it. I'd put up FTP server on newer machine and ftp from windows 95 to the server.
There are a lot of options, but they all depend on your knowledge and will :) I'd do it for fun, but I think I'm too far away for that :)
The wayback machine is an archive of old webpages that is one of the most invaluable resources available on the net. www.archive.org . You would be amazed all of the information saved on this site.
I am assuming that the steering wheel is older hardware that may not be actively supported anymore. In that case, find the website for the device in question and search the wayback machine for archived webpages. It is possible that the webpage and drivers are saved.
If the internet archive doesn't have the drivers, try http://www.oldversion.com/

Yes it's nice having career tools be useful for the hobby too, but similarly I probably wouldn't have ended up in this career if wasn't for the hobby!
Sketchup 7 is much older not the 2017 version, from back when Google owned it:
http://www.oldversion.com/windows/google-sketchup-7-0-10247
You can import dwg files to this version. In the newer ones you'd need the pro version. Remember when saving them in autocad to save as a the oldest version you can, and check your units in the drawing are correct too, then import at 1:1 scale. PM me if you need any help.
There are a lot of excellent free alternatives to autocad these days so worth checking them out.
If you still would like to use it, may I recommend getting utorrent 2.2.1 that is completely ad-free and works just as well as any client.

OP's wrong, anyone who shills QBitorrent is an mall ninja style elitist who doesn't know what they're talking about. Just use this older version of UTorrent from before the ads. It'll do it's job without slowing your system to a crawl, or enticing you to sniff your farts.
Not sure if this is the correct version, but here is a mirror:
https://www14.zippyshare.com/v/IqZFyWL6/file.html
of the file that is available here:

Just in case you cannot access the site for some reason.
Disclaimer: I have not checked the file, just downloaded, archived and reuploaded to zippyshare. So use at your own risk.

I've used OldVersion.com for a long time to grab old versions of software. It's been around since like 2001.
Oldapps or oldversion.
http://www.oldversion.com/windows/utorrent-2-2-1-build-25302 if the link on the sidebar thing is not working.
Check it is 390.37 KB (or 390 KB/399,736 bytes) and has the digital signature from "BitTorrent Inc" at "18 May 2011 00:17:26". This assumes 25302.
http://www.oldversion.com/ has worked for me in the past for a lot of stuff like that. However it does tend to be very English dominant. Good luck!
Microsoft is usually pretty good about keeping old downloads alive but you might have to go searching for them as they’ve redesigned their website a few times.
I have a copy of the Trimble free version 8.0.16846 which I got from www.oldversion.com. There a re a few versions listed with download links here
http://www.oldversion.com/windows/america-online-7-0
I did find the link for it. I looked up AOL7.0 and it came out in 2001 so this download is 20 years old, it may not be able work on anything other then a Windows Vista.
I actually did not mean for that to turn into a hyperlink, in my head everyone knows about oldversion.com for some reason. Its just one of those sites that have ben around forever, kind of like gamecopyworld, for when you need to grab a no-cd crack for Command & Conquer Generals: Zero Hour. Great game by the way still play it here and there with some mods.
IMPORTANT INFO:
Forgot to add build version.
BUILD VERSION
This is the important bit as there are multiple builds of 2.2.1, as a matter of fact they actually got past 3.0.0 I believe.

uTorrent 2.2.1.25302
That is the one you want, here is a link,:

Website is normal in chrome no cert errors, downloaded and tested it, looks good. No packaged adware, no popups, wonder who pays for this site. Sites like this where you can find old versions of Java to download because new java past 2014 doesn't support logging into Dell Server iDrac interface, or I wonder if they have the version of CCcleaner before they made it shitty. I think i am going to check it out and see, cant beat that registry cleaner man.
There exists this that is kind of what you are describing, but not iOS apps. http://www.oldversion.com/
The problem with a lot of old mobile apps now is that various API URLs on the back end have changed or no longer exist. Or they try to connect to some ad server that no longer exists.
Dont let the install programme install anything except the client.
Go into the apps setting and uninstall opera, web companion, and anything else that it installed, then unistall the client.
Rerun the client and dont let it install any optional or partner content.
You are probably better off uninstalling it all and then using uTorrent 2.2.1 from oldversions (if the link to oldapps is still not working in the sidebar).

8.14.1208 still has the ability to create PDFs from a scanner, and to "sign" PDFs with a signature file of your choice (either from a PDF or graphic file, so you can use a scan of your real ink signature).
i don't know when those features were removed, but they're not in the current version i had to download last week for my work computer ( ,_,)
http://www.oldversion.com/windows/foxit-pdf-reader/ has up to 5.4.5, there may be other repositories i don't know about.
