Nope, here's a 12 pack off amazon for $11, and I'm pretty sure you can get them from just about anywhere that sells toys in summer. This post is both acting like these things are no longer available and ignoring the fact that they are super shitty and would never last for more than a few good water gun fights. In my childhood, super soakers were where it was at.
same! i still have my original copy and was reading it to my kids as bedtime stories, but it started coming apart at the spine so i picked up the 10th anniversary edition plus the true story of the 3 little pigs (same author). they're the only books the kids ask for anymore, aside from the occasional seuss classic.
I bought the complete Far Side collection in hard book. All of it (15 years of daily comics) were in two books. I remember reading the reviews online that the books were too big and heavy and were difficult to hold while reading. I thought that was an exaggeration, but nope. I couldn't believe it when I received it. Each book weighs about 10 pounds. It's ridiculous.... and completely awesome!

I don't think they are hard plastic though not sure though. Best I could find.
Quench gum is very similar. You can still get a bucket of 200 off amazon for $15. I ended up giving 3/4 of it out for Halloween because I couldn’t handle it anymore.
Corrected, apparently you can’t get a bucket of $200 dollars for $15 dollars off amazon. Just gum.
Can you still get these? I have a 5 year old that needs to improve and was thinking of these last night and wondering if they would help.
edit: Holy crap here they are!

Amazon $12 for 40

I need these back in my life.
Says it’s unavailable. Seems like it was fully absorbed into the maxwell house brand. They have maxwell house international flavors. They don’t seem to be the same though.
Edit: scratch that. The old flavors are there. There’s just more.

You can and there are a ton on Amazon. These are newer styles and I didn't see any of the originals. Just search on "scratch and sniff stickers" in Amazon to see more.

You could probably find vintage ones by searching on Google, but might be costly and may have lost their scent.
Good luck!
Edit: FOUND THEM ON ETSY!!! 😃😃😃

I don’t know about animal cruelty for Homeward Bound but The adventure of Milo and Otis is appalling. I saw it as a kid and wanted to show it to my kids but backtracked angrily when I found out the behind the scene story and cover ups : https://www.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Adventures_of_Milo_and_Otis
This was one of the "sponsored related products" to those, wtf???
Hold on. I will search it on http://www.dogpile.com
Edit: This article says Netscape went open source and Mozilla Firefox came from that.
Full Tilt! Pinball (Win/Mac) CD-ROM https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000926ZIK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_0sIqzb01T7E8N
You could buy the full version on amazon (link above) which includes two other tables or you could just look up full tilt pinball since it has mac version. Not sure if it's still supported by newer mac computers but back in the day it was.
You can also buy a machine that makes it if you're not a poor. https://www.amazon.com/FirstBuild-Opal01-Opal-Nugget-Maker/dp/B0751KDVTP/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1536819146&sr=8-3&keywords=opal%2Bice%2Bmaker&th=1
Its a bit expensive, but this is actually a pretty awesome machine since its the only consumer grade nugget ice maker. Other than that guy you're looking at like a few thousand dollars on a commercial Hoshizaki machine or something.
It’s one of my earliest memories. I was around three years old. My mom read a Sesame Street book to me that had him in it and I was just wailing in to her side. Edit: here’s the book https://www.amazon.com/Sesame-Street-Hooper-Books-Readers/dp/0394866002
Do you really want these glasses? They're just normal 12oz (maybe 16 oz, but 12 is a little more likely) plastic glasses except they're red. The same design is super common in buffets or cafeterias around the Northeast US (and almost certainly elsewhere), though they're usually either an amber or a clear color.
Here's a pack of 24 brand new ones for $35 on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/Carlisle-550807-Pebble-Tumblers-8-Ounce/dp/B00NWUTXDU/ref=sr_1_75?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1483615800&sr=1-75&keywords=12%2Boz%2Btumbler&th=1
Play around with the descriptors (pebble, optic, etc) and you might find another virtually identical design from a different manufacturer for cheaper or a smaller quantity.
In 2015, there was a book published called “Things I can’t explain: A Clarissa Novel” by the show’s creator, which is supposed to be about Clarissa grown up. Not sure how good the book is though
The World Market near me has them. You can also find them on Amazon.
That's why I use one of these. link
$20 today. Tomorrow $40+.
I remember about 6 years ago someone linked a simple canvas bag that was used in the show 24 by Jack Bauer. Thing was all of $12 at the time. A week later it was $50 and impossible to get because reddit went nutso and bought a ton (I got one when it was 12, still have it and I love it).
Kind of surprised they're on amazon. They've got the bubblegum kind too, lol.
I believe the one I'm using now is this one. I seem to need a new one for some reason or another about every year or two.
I've had ones that clicked badly in the past, can't remember if this is one of them, it doesn't click now. Sometimes hitting the A/B button on your receiver to switch sides and make it spin the other way helps. I have also used a file to just knock off those little knobby bits on the wheels so it's just a smooth hole.
Here's the listing I used. Note, mine popped super quickly at first then started to take a little more time once my students used them a bit.

I had a pack a few years ago and they smelled every bit as awesome as when I was a kid. Don't remember what happened to them, probably gave them away.
Holy shit... egghead software. I had my mom buy me a book called "C++ for the DOOM Guru's" or something to that effect from there.
I joined the big boy club at 43. All my childhood my parents would only buy me the box of 12 and said that was good enough. Well, I showed em and bought this

Just in case you don't know. You could always go and buy a SSD tray to fit into the space of the optibay. I did this to my 2011 MBP and then installed OSX to the SSD and it breathed some new live into that old laptop. It's still going strong ~5 years later. https://lifehacker.com/5541774/how-to-install-a-solid-state-drive-in-your-macbook
You can just get a bluetooth transmitter adapter and your Zune is back in business! I feel like these are the modern equivalent of the old cassette adapters we all used for our first portable CD players.
Anyone know where I can buy one? I used to be obsessed with these for whatever reason.
Edit: Found them on Amazon. Also found these glow in the dark smile face balls which take me back to the 90s arcades and skate rinks.
You can get the entire series of The Critic on Amazon Prime for 13.66.
luckily for you all they are sold in bulk on amazon. if you want these bad boys, you better have an industrial size freezer. https://www.amazon.com/Conagra-Whole-Grain-Mozzarella-Pizza/dp/B00B04F75I/ref=sr_1_2?crid=EBRRTTG56LGJ&keywords=mozzarella+sticks&qid=1573272536&sprefix=mozza%2Caps%2C184&sr=8-2
Same with my 03 Honda.
For a while I was using this thing that converted aux to a short range FM radio station you could tune to on your car radio. It kinda sucked tho.
Eventually I got one of these things (below) and installed it under my center console. It worked great and was total game changer.

I was going to guess just based on the LCD that that was circa 2003 if you were on the bleeding edge. I was in college at the time. Dell had LCD's as an option, so some people had them, but I didn't see one that was not a dell until 2004. By 2005 the prices had came down to the point where a lot of people had one. I picked up this one (or a very similar one) at CompUSA for ~$450 in 2005. That thing was my pride and joy, but I still kept the CRT around.
Books 1-40 are available on Amazon. But it’s 181 dollars for the whole enchilada

I think finding one of their sites that isn't already being watched by the government and actually have enough seeders is hard to come by nowadays. That and them saying not to download without using CyberGhost(or other service) to hide your IP address...
I bought this a number of years ago when I started feeling nostalgic for it as well (along with the Garfield Christmas Special).
Nope. Early CD-ROM drives could only work with the PC via a soundcard, regardless of the CD audio cable being connected.

If you head on over to retromags you can download a cbr copy of the mag. I used to scan for them. Thanks to E-Day at Retromags for this copy. He's done a lot of scanning there. You may also want this cbr viewer. Or you could just unzip the cbr file and view the pics with any image viewer but CDisplay is awesome.
Online libraries - like http://openlibrary.org - work the same way, kind of. Even though they could technically "loan" unlimited copies of a book out, they only lend to one person at a time. You check the book out and you only get two weeks before it "expires" (thanks to noxious DRM that also cripples the ease of reading it).
So since most books are already out, you have to join waiting lists to get them. I joined one today which has 113 people in the waiting list before me. It may well be years before I get that book.
If I'm really keen to read something that I can't find an easily accessible digital copy of online, I just buy the paperback for a buck from Abebooks.
Here you go bud. This is an community updated version that works great I love it.
You will need a copy of Roller coaster Tycoon 2 tho. Then install this as well and it is just as amazing as you remember.
Oh wow, what a throwback. Though I have to say, there were two white erasers in the game, and I think it was the Magic Rub not the Staedtler that held the crown

I actually paid $26 but it’s up to $31 now. And actually, I bought two of them because the first one broke. The current one I use had to be duct-taped to keep the connection in place. There might be better brands or options. Crutchfield is a decent company that has some of these products, so you might check them out.
Hello, I'm a bot! The movie you linked is called The Sullivans, here are some Trailers
The 1986 version is the one I know and remember
Therapist: Shirley Temple Little Darling Collection can't hurt you. It was a limited time offer.
Shirley Temple Little Darling Collection
You HAVE to watch this movie for sure. It has some great effects, an amazing soundtrack, and great actors.
The ending is hit or miss with some and it is a very dark story (especially by Disney's standards).
I know you can rent it digitally on Amazon for sure. Not sure where else. https://www.amazon.com/Black-Hole-Joseph-Bottoms/dp/B003V40SGS
I wish I was lucky enough to find a gold mine of old data like this. When I was younger, I used to buy up old cartridges of Zelda II in hopes of finding one of the prototype SimCity cartridges.
Last year, there was the redditor that found a gold StarCraft 1 source code disc and returned it to Blizzard for an incredibly nice reward.
> Lemmings is an old DOS puzzle game, developed by DMA Design Limited, designed by David Jones and published by Psygnosis in 1991. It's available for download.
I could tell it was a Super Solvers game from your description of the main character, and so I figured out it was Outnumbered
also forgot that was a thing. dang brain! probably happening because of my electrolyte deficiency!
Quench can also be had for ~$0.07/piece if you buy it in the tub form on amazon

I used to love this and draw my own cross sections of ships, tanks and airplanes. I also used to love A Street Through Time: A 12,000-year Journey Along the Same Street

Actually, me and my friends went through some of them (and Spy-Fox, next up is Pajama Sam). You can run them with ScummVM. Now that we aren't 5, they only take like 20 minutes.
I'd forgotten a lot of these characters, but Funko recently made Pops of most, if not all, of them, which brought them back to mind.

I really want you to find the book.
Me and my mom have The Story About Ping. She sent me a copy a couple years ago and I have it prominently displayed on my bookshelf.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B010E0N7ZU/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s03?ie=UTF8&psc=1 There are four different colors in this set, but we love them! We've been using these for the past three years.
I just bought this at Target a couple months ago for my 3 year old. Not sure why it's so much on Amazon, it must have been discontinued.
I had found some for cheap on Amazon. I just buy them used so they're cheaper.

If you scroll down a little you can see other used options, one is less than $7.
There's nothing nostalgic about something made a couple years ago. Corelle dates back decades ago, back to 1970. My mom had these when she was first married and they were all we used when I was a kid. They were so tough my mom tenderized steak with them. That's nostalgia. You obviously don't know what nostalgia means. If you want to be nostalgic about the iPhone mention the first time it was released, that's nostalgic for iPhone owners.
31% of people aged 16-24 uses Youtube, and vaporwave is a popular thing because of meme culture. It's still quite trending, and you know kids like trendy things. https://www.strawpoll.me/4763772/r here is an old but still quite relevant poll on how old the people in /r/vaporwave are (Original Post: https://www.reddit.com/r/Vaporwave/comments/3befbk/how_old_is_rvaporwave/).
ok this was probably my 13 year old mind getting something confused, but wasn't there two UW's? I mean, not at the same time, but wasn't the original one 'replaced' for whatever reason? I swear I remember two different ones...
...ah, I just Googled that - it was rumoured there was 2 - but it was the original one coming back looking more buff and w/ a haircut:

I like to use justwatch to search for possible streams of some movies/shows I want to watch on the streaming services I have!
I just tried searching for supermarket sweep since I knew it was on prime & I was gonna link it to show how the website works, but apparently they don’t have it listed - I guess there are still some errors on there, but it’s helped me a bunch before!
I couldn't get any of the "Desktop Themes" screensavers working in Windows 7 x64, however here are the screensavers and all the .dlls needed to run them which I ripped from a WinME CD, you might have more luck.
edit: 3D Maze works if anybody's wondering!
you can still d/l the old version and use it for old nostalgias sake. we should get an SN thread going and make some frens and chat rooms
http://www.oldversion.com/windows/aol-instant-messenger/
i use any of the ones from like 94 - 04
That's kind of what aliexpress was about. Wholesalers from China selling to stores random crap, but they do sell singles, you just dont get price breaks usually.
Here's one for $5, but expect it to take 2 months becuase free shipping is shit
You can get the cables for pretty cheap. Might be fun just to see what’s on it.
Not sure if they're exactly the same but when I was a kid I used to eat something called Fla-Vor-Ice
You can still get it on Amazon and grocery stores in the Chicago area
Pardon the Amazon link — and I’m not sure if this is what you’re looking for— but I can attest to it being a decent collection! Elvira's Movie Macabre: The Coffin Collection https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00LFMZZSO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_RP83K3WBK37N5R0CXYTB
Could be worse. I went and got a Magnavox 37" HD tv with DVD player.
Yea...37 inch. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003PENIBQ/ They existed. The damn thing would shut off due to resolution miss match with my PS3 as well as my Roku HD box. ALL THE TIME. It was HD...but couldn't support HD because of the wonky size. I ended up giving it to my mother to replace her big tube TV free of charge because I didn't feel right charging anybody for that piece of garbage.
i saw her tarot cards on amazon recently and had to have them for the nostalgia factor.
I saw them at Target tonight! I'm sure a little different, but the concept was still very much the same. In the arts and crafts section.
Edit: here on Amazon - apparently, according to the reviewers, they didn't change much! Fashion Plates Deluxe Kit https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00IZN74H6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_8IIlzbVREKZCE
Snood and Pocket Tanks were my default installs on the school computer in typing class. For those curious to play it again, Snood is available on the Play Store.
Maybe. They used to use a 3D brand, "Jacked" https://www.amazon.com/Doritos-Jacked-Tortilla-Snacks-Jalapeno/dp/B00TNJ6QMA
But it looks like they've been discontinued. They were semi-3D but far from what the real 3D Doritos were

Just purchased 2 cases of wild cherry on the pre-order site. Now if I could only find some dunkeroos, I could fully recreate my traditional after school snack.
Found these a few years back at Walmart but took them back after finding they are very harmful if they break. You can buy them here: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Set-of-7-Multi-Color-Retro-Christmas-Bubble-Lights-Green-Wire/23889501
There is, actually.
You'd have to download Flashpoint - I use the Infinity version. Then, once you get it setup, you can search for all those old Candystand games.
They're all there. The mini-golf. Bullpen Blast. Dunk-a-thon.
