I've been using Smart Keyboard Pro for years now. It doesn't do predictive typing and swipe entry like swype, swiftkey, fleksy, etc, but what it does do is let you customize damn near every aspect of it (skin, custom text replacements, what domains show in the .com key, etc). You just use it like you would a keyboard in a more traditional manner; by pressing the keys.
As an example of how mine is set up, I have the standard keyboard but if I swipe across the screen to the right it will swap to the old blackberry-style extended T9 keyboard. I find that while I lose a very small amount of speed using this keyboard over something like swiftkey, I gain far more in terms of accuracy since I type things like work emails on my phone where the predictive dictionary doesn't cut it. Also I'm more comfortable pressing keys over swiping across them as I'm both more used to it (see extended T9 remark earlier - learned to text fast on one of those keyboards) and I find that it's easier to see what I'm typing when pressing instead.

nope. this is also Smart keyboard Pro
Google keyboard was quite fine. Swapped to it.. and it worked flawlessly. Swapped back to SKP and it did this again. So very strange.
I'm using Smartkeyboard Pro, where I can set a bit of space below + arrow keys, so it's higher.. Example
But if anybody got any other good solution, plz tell
You could try Smart Keyboard Pro.
Back in the day when I was playing with keyboards, I found Smart and Perfect to be very alike but preferred Smart so ended up using that for ages.
Word of warning, it hasn't been updated in years. I've tested/used it up to and including Android 9, but beyond that....who knows.
Neither. I bought this.
It doesn't have any creepy keylogger-like features like frequent letter sync, cloud saves, account login etc. heck it doesn't ask for internet permissions -- which is good* for keyboard.
*we type many sensitive things with keyboard, you know?
P.S. iirc SwiftKey used to be a paidware, guess they're profitable enough gathering user typing behaviour...
Ce n'est pas nécessaire de changer la langue - je recommande l'appli SmartKeyboard
There's an old keyboard app that I liked from a long time ago that has full keyboard, t9 style keyboard, and more. One feature I really liked is the ability to swipe between different keyboards if I need to be more precise than the T9 at times. It's simply called Smart Keyboard.

I just ordered a Jelly 2 so will be installing this app on it when it arrives on Tuesday :) Hopefully it's still good
Samsung phones already have it in the settings. Otherwise you'll need to download one.
This one is highly recommended, but is not free: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.cdeguet.smartkeyboardpro
I have tried a few of the free ones but I don't think any of them are good.
Honestly I don't recommend using T9 at all unless you have a special reason for doing it.
You're better off spending 5 minutes learning to swipe, instead of wasting an hour testing apps.
I have used Smart Keyboard Pro for years and they have a custom auto text feature and user dictionary option.
E.g. I type xda
and it expands to xda-developers.com
I use swiping left on the keyboard to access user dictionary and swiping right to access auto text.

Check out smart keyboard if you're ok with normal push button typing - no internet connectivity or predicitive typing. Disadvantage is no swyping though; I'm just a push button typer so it's fine for me.
Some people say that blackberry keyboard is pretty good. I wasn't convinced myself when I tried it.
How to install
A long time ago I used to like Smart keyboard it's pretty unusual in that it has a t9 layout option and a compact qwerty option. Not sure how well it holds up now, but it looks like it's still in development.
There's also chrooma but there was some controversy surrounding it and the dev recently, not sure if that was ever resolved.
My Pixel XL lasts almost full two days with around 8h spotify per day and 4h screen on time during the whole time. I don't think that's normal to have your batterylife. Did you check the batterystats?
There are many keyboards to try. I use Smartkeyboard Pro, but there are plenty of options.
Definitely Smart Keyboard Pro Super lightweight. Customizable skins and stuff. Keeps getting better. Had it since day one and didn't look for anything else than it.
I tried Google Keyboard, Minuum, Fleksy, Swype, and some others, but eventually settled on Smart Keyboard Pro. I recently switched from iPhone to Android and I feel like it's the closest to what I'm used to.
I won't trust any keyboard that asked for internet permission.
I recommend Smart Keyboard Pro
apparently with this old ass keyboard you can get T9, look at the second image!!!!

I've used Smart Keyboard Pro for years: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.cdeguet.smartkeyboardpro Enjoy custom auto text feature especially.
I remember using Smart Keyboard Pro for this before gboard.
There are more...but they’re all closed source?
You still might want to give it a try.
Smart Keyboard Pro (Paid), this one is the most comfortable one in terms of T9 also many languages are available
Multiling O keyboard, you’ll find T9 layout in the layout settings.
Btw, what language are you looking for? Anysoft might have that language
Such an MVP. Smart Keyboard PRO
