I've recently discovered https://invidio.us/ as an alternative frontend for youtube. It still needs some work, but it is so much faster and you can have subscriptions without needing a google account.
I hope it lasts longer than https://hooktube.com which recently got shut down by google.

Look, I hate to say it but this is EXACTLY the kind of anti-white bullshit the alt-right and white nationalists LOVE because it drives people to their side.
Think about it, you're a young white straight male who is berated on social media, news, and at university (by students and courses/teachers) about how being white is inherently "problematic", how because of your skin color you are inherently racist, that it's not even "ok to be white", and holy.shit, if you say you are "proud" to be white, that's a nail in your coffin because you're a fucking Nazi and you might as well be out committing genocide.
I'm 32, I'm past the point of being very vulnerable to white nationalist and Nazi ideas, but the younger generation is not, the average white straight teen is not. When they feel so under attack like I can see they could feel today, it's tough to say but it feels almost natural to seek out a place where you'd feel welcomed and accepted for who you are, a place where you feel proud to be you.

edit: I want justice. It's ok if you are getting emotional, but I'm not your enemy. Not every homicide is classified as a murder. That's a good thing. It seems like this was a very emotional situation which unexpectedly turned physical. If it ends up being something different then I think different charges could be appropriate.

I watched a video by a humble carpenter on Youtube the other day. He had an interesting outlook about m'algorithm. His main point was that things worked out better for him but he goes on to theorise that Google isn't analyzing video content but rather the type of audience the video attracted. The idea being to identify the type of people that watch content advertisers find inappropriate and then demonetize videos that type congregates toward. It makes sense, explains the collateral damage, and is far easier for Google to do since they already profile the users.
So what type of people would that be? Apparently the less educated, right-leaning (or differs to the California liberal leanings), redneck types. Which is why things like drag-racing gets caught in the collateral damage of demonetization despite nothing being outright advertiser unfriendly. An interesting side effect is that talking about m'algorithm all the time becomes a real bad thing. You'll attract the unwanted viewer type to your content as they seek to understand the issue that affects their preferred content.
What would that mean for Boogie? Bad times. He's been growing an audience of edge lords, racists, sexists, and bigots. They'll quickly sail him down the river of demonetization. Imagine that. The Boogie empire toppled by his own fans.

I know what you are talking about. I've lived in southern China short-term for business. Many of the expats there are LBH and many don't want to learn the language and try to understand the culture. Many are there to live a hedonistic lifestyle and work the bare minimum at their English teaching jobs. After reading up about what an LBH is, I started avoiding the vast majority of expats in China. LBH is a term that applies to females also, it's not just limited to males. Many of the English teachers in Asia are not teachers, they are edutainers. They are there to entertain their students with English, not to teach them. Luckily, China is getting more woke and is starting to drug test foreigners randomly without legal recourse.
