As I speak Russian, I have looked up some information about this on some Russian newssites (if anybody is interested). Apparantly his classmates tied him up with tape by his feet and hands, put him in the toilet bowl with his feet and made him hop from there to the classroom. In the classroom he lost his balance and fell with his throat on the side of the teachers desk... As his hands were tied, he could not use them to protect his face and throat when he fell. When medics arrived, it was already too late and he died from a rupture of the hyoid bone. Legal proceedings were instituted against the culprits for manslaughter
This isn't bull fighting though.
This is more of a rodeo bit, in South America.
It's were people scramble away and try not to get hurt. The bulls keep the job over and over. The animals aren't killed.

As an aside:
I have Scanner Radio on my android devices. You can set it to give notifications when a certain number of people are tuned in to a channel. Every weekend without fail over 2500 people tune into Chicago PD to listen to the calls.
While the bulk of the calls that go out are your typical disturbances, chases, ect, every now and then you get some really fun ones, like the two 12 y/o girls throwing rocks at one another and the neighborhood circled around cheering them on. #Chiraq

There is a lot of propaganda and such, and they are trying to convince that is that one sniper named Juba that did all the kills when it's probably not true, but otherwise that's still a lot of shot marines.
It's also pretty interesting to see how a plate carrier can save you from a sniper round to the chest.
Confessions of a cartel hitman. I wouldn't say it's an amazing book but it's def worth reading, it gives you a good insight into the cartels but I felt it could have been better. It's cheap as fuck amazon or ebay and I'd recommend reading it if you have an interest in the cartels.

Next time, just upload the video straight to one of the file hosts that people use here. Or if you really want a good gif, use one of the video-to-gif converters. This one is good: https://ezgif.com/video-to-gif. Pay attention to the options for quality.

No, Don Corleone is pissed that Bonasera has the gall to come ask him on the day of his daughter's wedding.
"I understand. You found paradise in America, you had a good trade, you made a good living. The police protected you and there were courts of law. You didn't need a friend like me. But, now you come to me, and you say: "Don Corleone, give me justice." But you don't ask with respect. You don't offer friendship. You don't even think to call me Godfather. Instead, you come into my house on the day my daughter is to be married, and you ask me to do murder for money."
For anyone interested on consciousness after decapitation, see this PDF
Tl;dr scientist tries to determine if decapitation is humane enough to euthanise animals, test it on rats. Consciousness fades within 3/4s and may last up to 17s. Death comes around 1m.

> "If you meet the Buddha on the road, kill him"
If you meet the Buddha, kill him. (逢佛殺佛)
—Linji
Thinking about the Buddha as an entity or deity is delusion, not awakening. One must destroy the preconception of the Buddha as separate and external before one can become internally as their own Buddha. Zen master Shunryu Suzuki wrote in Zen Mind, Beginner's Mind during an introduction to Zazen,
Kill the Buddha if the Buddha exists somewhere else. Kill the Buddha, because you should resume your own Buddha nature.
One is only able to see a Buddha as he exists in separation from Buddha, the mind of the practitioner is thus still holding onto apparent duality.
Notes.
Despite the low quality video, the audio is clear and this is one of the most difficult videos for me to watch.
Video Description: It starts with the video of the fire on the ground floor. About 3:45 (on through the mirror site sendvid video), the camera pans up to see three young people trapped in a second story building. The heightened screams of the crowds suggests they just appeared, to the horror of all around. They are silhouetted behind a full length cage (that protected entry through the sliding windows) that trap them inside as the fire is roaring behind them. The parents had locked them in "to keep them safe" while they went out somewhere. One slips out through an opening and dies, maybe from the fall. One slumps down and one desperately holds onto the cage for what seems like an eternity. They both succumb to consuming fire as the crowd looks on with frantic and helpless shouting.
It's surprising that so many places like this in India are virtual death cages.
EDITS: Various. Thanks to everyone below.
Deleted: ~~I like to think, how could this have gone different? I think three or four people to climb up and a hammer could have saved them. Or even one person strong enough to climb up that gutter. A rope would have helped. They would have needed to get up there fast before the fire got too intense. (Also, if someone had enough bullets maybe they could have shot out the window?)~~
This video is relevant. A tribute to the Juba Sniper, I think this video is claiming that all these kills are his/theirs? Not sure, just found this after searching the net.
Not sure what that flash was specifically, I doubt it was blood or an incendiary round. However, I do know source was from Juba the sniper. Here is more information

I know what you mean, but it's not only a possible excuse, it's also one of the factual causes. When your whole world tells you that education and a job aren't an option, that crime is your destiny, it's extremely hard to choose a different path.
This book opened my eyes on the issue. The author isn't blind to the moral side of things but set out to describe a bad neighborhood in detail. It's a great but depressing read.
So they tried to cover it up as an accident but it looks like a murder, isn't it?

Also, just search 'failed gun/shotgun suicide' on google images.

As I said, any use of violence by protesters, civilians or self proclaimed "freedom fighters" organizations towards non Military targets, for example Schools, Churches, Markets, Malls, Parks, etc for political and/or religious goals is TERRORISM. Civilians and Law Enforcement are NOT Military targets.

In the 2003 documentary "Fog of War" former Secretary of Defense (1961-68) Robert McNamara said that the atomic bombings were not necessary, especially considering the firebombing of Japanese cities.
> Why was it necessary to drop the nuclear bomb if LeMay was burning up Japan? And he went on from Tokyo to firebomb other cities. 58% of Yokohama. Yokohama is roughly the size of Cleveland. 58% of Cleveland destroyed. Tokyo is roughly the size of New York. 51% percent of New York destroyed. 99% of the equivalent of Chattanooga, which was Toyama. 40% of the equivalent of Los Angeles, which was Nagoya. This was all done before the dropping of the nuclear bomb, which by the way was dropped by LeMay's command. Proportionality should be a guideline in war. Killing 50% to 90% of the people of 67 Japanese cities and then bombing them with two nuclear bombs is not proportional, in the minds of some people, to the objectives we were trying to achieve.
God dammit, we've been over this. You shoot center of mass until threat is disabled.
Also, a knife wound is far from a "scratch" it's very easily a lethal injury.
Finally:
After a fall, the distance fallen is sometimes used to predict the injury severity. We aimed to examine how distance fallen performs as a predictor of major injury. A cohort of trauma victims attending our emergency department after having fallen from a height was identified retrospectively, and data were collected regarding the fall and injuries sustained. Performance of threshold heights, ranging from 2 meters (6.6 feet) to 10 meters (32.8 feet), as a diagnostic test for major injury was assessed. Height fallen performed poorly over the range of thresholds used. At low thresholds, sensitivity was inadequate to rule out major trauma, whereas the low prevalence meant that, despite impressive specificity at higher thresholds, positive predictive value was poor. At the optimal threshold of 5 meters (16.4 feet), the positive predictive value was 0.17 and sensitivity was 0.33. Height of fall is a poor predictor of major injury.
TL:DR Height of fall is a poor predictor of major injury.
It's actually just after the part OP posted. Starts about 49:30. They chain him up and set him on fire
I'm sure it's been said in this subreddit time and time again, but it bears repeating that in these situations I've read that it's much more effective to single someone out and tell them to call 911 than to tell a whole group. Kinda lessens the bystander effect when someone feels the command shouted directly at them.
Also since you mentioned your information being stolen, you should check your email on this site. My data was leaked by sooooo many websites I signed up for, this is the real danger, not malware on your personal computer.
It doesn't matter how many numbers or symbols are in your 20 character password, if it was used on a compromised website website someone out there can look it up.
I signed up for a game hacking forum when I was like 16, and even that was compromised and showed up on haveibeenpwned.
Okay then, let's use just your source (plus yearly population estimates by Worldometers, since censi are only taken every 10 years) to show how AIDS is very much a huge problem in [edit: ~~the US~~ Brazil]. From 490,000 people infected in 2011, to 530,000 - 660,000 infected in 2012, we get the following data:
Population with AIDS | Total Population | % with AIDS | |
---|---|---|---|
2011 | 490,000 | 196,935,000 | .249% |
2012 | 530,000 - 660,000 | 198,656,000 | .267% - .332% |
So without taking any averages to get an "elevated number", it can be seen that the % of people of AIDS has increased more than what would be expected from population growth. As a bonus, here is Brazil's 2014 data without "elevated numbers":
Population with AIDS | Total Population | % with AIDS | |
---|---|---|---|
2014 | 610,000 | 202,656,788 | .301% |
So tell me again how a country that has had an increasing percentage of the population infected with AIDS for the past 4 years is better at dealing with it than the US is?
This is not at all the dark web, no. Whoever said it's "technically the dark web" has no idea what they are talking about which is actually very common when it comes to the deep/dark web. This is just the normal Internet, the clear web. The deep/dark web is accessible through a browser using a specific routing protocol and set up with encrypted nodes and "exit relays" and in order to get on the "Dark web" you have to download the Tor browser bundle (or I2P which is far less popular) and then visit the dark web websites which are known as onion sites. I'll give some onion URL's that are safe to visit and not illegal (a common misconception is that the deep web/dark net only hosts illegal material, which is completely false) to show what they look like and to get you started. Obviously you can only access these through the Tor browser I linked above:

easycoinsayj7p5l.onion (a bitcoin escrow)
uj3wazyk5u4hnvtk.onion (the official Pirate Bay onion)
which is a type of machine gun.

any automatically firing weapon is a machine gun, of which there are several types.
machine pistols, sub machine guns, light machine guns, heavy machine guns, auto cannons, automatic assault rifles.
I am really not hearing it. Here's the clipped sound with a little cleanup (though I have no idea how to remove chopper noise): https://clyp.it/ynu4uubr . I clearly hear "А-хуеть" and nowhere near "Нас сбили" (No "n" or "s" or "l" in there), at best I could convince myself it's "нахуй есть", which wouldn't make much sense.

Actually in the update the criminals were demanding the officers gun. He drew so slowly as to avoid suspect that he was going to do anything else other than comply with the request for his weapon. When the weapon is free from his holster a fast shot along with his trained precision allow him to survive. Lesson learned. Never let someone draw their own weapon when you're just a 45 degree angle and 8 ounces from death. Kudos in the police officer for maintainting the most important rule in The Art of War. Deception.
It looks like you're right. I.e., you don't have to directly hit your head to get a basal skull fracture, and these fractures often lead to spinal fluid dripping out of one's ears/nose.
I'll bring some sources into this since (a) no one else has, and (b) I'm no expert:
In the last paragraph of page 129 of this book it says that falling from big heights and landing on your feet or butt can drive the spinal column up into the base of the skull, resulting in a basal skull fracture without actually hitting your head on anything.
So sqrt's point that she "clearly doesn't hit her head in the video" doesn't seem very important.
And finally, from Wikipedia:
*A basilar skull fracture (or basal skull fracture) is a fracture of the base of the skull, typically involving the temporal bone, occipital bone, sphenoid bone, and/or ethmoid bone.
....
Such fractures can cause tears in the membranes surrounding the brain, or meninges, with resultant leakage of the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF). The leaking fluid may accumulate in the middle ear space, and dribble out through a perforated eardrum (CSF otorrhea) or into the nasopharynx via the eustachian tube, causing a salty taste. CSF may also drip from the nose (CSF rhinorrhea) in fractures of the anterior skull base, yielding a halo sign. These signs are characteristic for basilar skull fractures.[3]*
I was going to ask for a source, but as I didn't provide one, I didn't think it would be fair. So I looked it up myself. Googled "men more likely to be sociopaths?" hoping to avoid bias wording to support my own personal opinion. This was the first result and this was the second. After doing the reading, I've come to the conclusion that we're both right, kind of. According to the data, there are more male sociopaths, but the experts seem to agree that it's due to a combination of bias in who is accused of sociopathy and that, in general, female sociopaths are far more likely to use manipulation as opposed to outright violence to achieve their ends making them far less likely to be accused of a crime.

According to this subreddit, quite a lot of deaths are brutal.
Yes it's a real word.
The definition of murder is "the unlawful killing of one person by another with malice aforethought." -https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/murder
Alternately the definition of manslaughter is the unlawful killing of one person by another without malice aforethought.
Aforethought is defined as "thought of previously; premeditated."
It's what gets people life and the death penalty. It means you thought about it, meant it, and intended the consequences of your actions.
It's what distinguishes murder from manslaughter.
First thing's first download the Reddit Enhancement Suite

Yeah, but like so many things in sociology the outcome of the social program was the opposite of the desired outcome and destroyed the hypothesis. Which for people who know anything about evolutionary psychology, history, economics, or political science, would have bordered on self-evident from the outset. This is no fault of Marx since he predates many of the seminal discoveries in these fields, but for everybody today who still sees Marxist and communist ideals as the tool with which to bring their utopian visions of society to reality, there is no excuse but ignorance.
The black book of communism is hardly the only source which sites 100+ million dead, and Chomsky is a terrible source for an accurate representation of any political systems' history.
Get to it

This Russian article says he was a 25 year old graduate of a theater school in Moscow. The article says he fell onto the tracks, it is nowhere mentioned that he was trying to suicide himself. The machinist activated his emergency brakes but was already too late. The electric power was cut off for 11 minutes to reach him but he died on the spot because of his injuries. Apparently his name was Efim Dyachkov, this is a website dedicated to his memory. If you look at the amount of messages and photo's, I assume he was loved by many
You can buy replacement brake cartridges (the only part that gets destroyed and needs replacing) on Amazon for 70 bucks. https://www.amazon.com/SawStop-TSBC-10R2-Cartridge-10-Inch-Blades/dp/B001G9MGZQ So the initial investment is having to buy the Sawstop at whatever price the guy is charging for his custom saw but after that it's only 70 bucks per finger not lost. Not a bad deal. Also he only makes the saws himself because he has to because no hardware company wanted to take on the risk of his idea potentially failing one time on one of their saws and them having to deal with the lawsuit. He never wanted to manufacture saws but when no one else would take it on decided it needed to be available to people and took it upon himself to do so. I saw a Youtube video about the SawStop once and then went down a bender of videos regarding the product because I thought it was so cool.
> Do you think they think they're going to be let go?
I'm currently reading Man's Search for Meaning / Viktor Frankl and here's a passage I find interesting
>In psychiatry there is a certain condition known as "delusion of reprieve." The condemned man, immediately before his execution, gets the illusion that he might be reprieved at the very last minute.
So who knows..I can't though find that term (delusion of reprieve) outside of the book. then again..it was written in 1946 and translated from German to English so..
No biggie, as long as acknowledge when you make an error, that's the important thing.
Btw I did google for such a thing and there is one app I know of that will do something like this, it's called Horizon Camera it will kind of do what I want however, it only crops the vertical image into a tiny window of the camera's actual resolution so it doesn't look very good and unless you pay, it'll leave an annoying watermark in the bottom left corner, plus I have an LG G4 and the stock camera app is pretty good, whereas horizon is noticably slower and is kinda lacking in options, not to mention if you read the reviews people have had all kinds of other problems such as crashing, so I wouldn't recommend it.
I remember reading an article about new studies regarding brain death and coma. It said something that some people seem to be brain dead but still actually have some level of awareness.
This is not the article, it was on one Finnish science magazine.

I'm not sure, but I THINK, it's not profitable for them. :( And as long as those people stay away from Europe and USA, why would anyone interfere? I mean, have you ever heard of an Al Qaeda attack in Europe or USA ever since this whole thing started in Syria? I guess not.
I live in Lebanon, and those bastards are trying to sneak into our country. And the Christians (The society I live in, my parents, etc.) are scared shitless of them.
Blue light suppresses melatonin production and interferes with sleep, so that it's better to avoid blue light at nighttime, if you're trying to maintain regular sleep patterns.
>The experimental research suggests that an average person reading on a tablet for a couple hours before bed may find that their sleep is delayed by about an hour. Clearly, the details are complicated, but that's why we get to cite so many very interesting papers.
So programs like f.lux (the best known and perhaps first major program of its type), for desktops/laptops, will shift your screen's overall color palette away from blue and toward red.
Taking it even further, the app c.lumen, for android, can simply convert your display to a monochrome, red-only palette, at night, which both avoids blue light and preserves your night vision, and that's what I go with. I find it somehow relaxing.
https://justgetflux.com/research.html has a lot of links to explain the melatonin/blue light stuff, and how their program (f.lux) handles it.

Here's an article that disagrees http://thefederalist.com/2017/06/14/terrorists-cowards-dont-let-anyone-tell-otherwise/
As I quote the article " Aristotle explains in the “Nicomachean Ethics,” the courageous man stands fast in the face of danger for the sake of what is good. Since the killing of innocents is a grave moral evil, it clearly cannot be courageous. Anyone inclined to quibble with this is simply confused about the nature of virtue."
Since courageous is an antonym of cowardice then it can definitely be cowardice to kill an innocent.
