He's so great, and he gels so well with Funhaus and their style of humor. I was pumped when I saw this video in my queue. I highly recommend his autobiography-- it's hilarious and touching, and he narrates the audiobook himself.
Well if you want (and I'm not sure how the mods feel about self plugging here, so by all means feel free to tell me to delete this comment if I'm breaking any rules) you can check out my webcomic I update every Thursday! I just started up a Patreon thingy regarding it so I can afford myself a drawing tablet, and pump out comics faster!
Because contrary to popular belief, drawing with a mouse is NOT the quickest thing in the world. Who knew, amiright?
someone please show adam that there is an easy fix called large address aware, you dont need to fuck with the graphics /u/fh_james

>On the death threats against the devs; it's terrible and is never ok
Also turns out the entire thing was fake. The person isn't even an EA employee and has been trying to pose as one for over a couple years.

I JUST finished watching part 4 on Twitch. This series was so much fun to watch. Gonna go look up that Furboy painting right now.

also to answer /u/FHBruce 's question, there is actually a common sex toy that fits his description.
It's called an Anal Hook It's an amazon link but NSFW just in case.
Not that it really matters now, but Excalibur 2555AD and various other games may be helped by having nGlide (Glide graphics emulator) installed. Funhaus should consider this - http://www.zeus-software.com/downloads/nglide, compatibility list (I'd recommend DOSBox and ScummVM too, though that requires more tweaking.)
I would say giving something like nGlide with DXGL a try would probably be worth a shot, it's kind of a weird middle ground between using genuine hardware and using an emulator since nGlide just essentially emulates a 3dfx graphics card.
I mean shit, they have the Braveheart demo actually listed in playable on the nGlide site, so that's gotta be good news right?
It's pretty funny now, considering that person was faking.

Not sure if it's the same model but it's a type of External CD-Drive they used on Demo Disc trying to run old discs. In the videos they gave the CD-Drive a character, adding eyes and hands and using a text to speech program to voice "her", calling her Cocopa as it's the name embedded into her.
Adam bought it for him at this year's Anime Expo and was given to him on dude soup.
Looks like you can get it here (possibly NSFW) at the artist's store.
Description
Under a Triumphant Sky is more than a bicycle narrative. It is a human story about facing your fears and overcoming adversity - all for the pursuit of a lifelong dream. Steve Garufi pedaled solo across America for forty-five days from Del Mar, California to Jekyll Island, Georgia.
A thief stole his bike in Phoenix. A mechanical failure in the desert led to an angry meltdown. There were chasing dogs, flat tires, run-ins with semi-trucks, exhaustion and loneliness. Readers will encounter colorful characters, beautiful scenery, treacherous roads and Steve himself - a mental health therapist who searches for the deeper meanings of our shared human experience.
You'll be with him in joy, anger, fear, doubt, worry and more than a few eruptions in laughter. With a raw faith in God (Jesus), his steely determination to honor an inner compass guides him to persist until he embraces his final moment of triumph.
Some investigative journalism courtesy of Kotaku about the EA employee who said he got death threats over this game. Worth a read:

What I did was a roundabout method of installing a script on Greasemonkey or whatever. It added the user ID to the url and following instructions I put in the filter and it works.
You could also just turn off Ublock for Youtube overall.

its a pretty disgustingly overused meme on tumblr. It's really just part of my language skill set to jean-ify items at this point.
(dont get me wrong though. I love it.)
I actually signed up for an Upstart loan independent of being a religious Funhaus user. I had maxed out two credit cards with interest rates above 25% very quickly, between rising expenses, a pay cut, and a move all in a year. When I read through a mailing from Upstart and applied, their adjusted APR for me was 8% (legally 12ish without the initial cut that they take). I now have a much clearer and shorter timeline to paying off my debt, which is not only better for how my brain processes finances (not well, btw), but will end up saving me money on interest with the significantly lower interest rate.
This isn't an endorsement of Upstart or even me excusing FH from running their ads, but my message would be don't dive into anything without knowing what's up. Whether it's HIMS, BetterHelp, Blue Apron, ExpressVPN - you name it. Take the time to understand it for yourself, not someone who's being paid to say their name. But also don't blindly listen to someone who hasn't experienced the product for themselves - just cause you don't like black licorice doesn't mean it should all be thrown into the sun.
I've used Podcast Addict on android in the past for Dude Soup and it always worked fine, episodes uploaded at the correct times etc.

Holy fuck, you're right. That's messed up. The BBC have been shitty lately, especially not reporting on the protests after election day, but throwing one of your actors under the bus to cover your own arse is pretty messed up.
They can’t do their signature style of gameplay (One person playing while 2-3 others riff in the background) due to covid. All RT channels also seem to have lower views as a whole so it’s not just limited to Funhaus.
I will say that I went through a period where I wasn’t as interested and took a break from watching FH content, but that’s completely normal in my opinion and they’ve done a fine job adjusting to working from home.
Fortunately, RT has ExpressVPN as a sponsor for all their properties so I think Funhaus will be fine.
If /u/SirLarr is looking for an app for spells. The most popular is probably D&D 5 Spellbook Cards. You can create a character on it and add only spells you know, which once you select has the spell description.
Or since some GM's don't like people on cellphones, you can copy the text of 1 spell online and edit down to 295x400px, print it out and cut it, and it'll fit into individual card sleeves so it's a little less flimsy.
As for some rules, the unfun one is casting from Stealth or unnoticed is really difficult since most have a verbal component which requires you to chant. You'll get the spell off but everyone should notice.
But the fun one is attacking an asleep/unconscious enemy, you get advantage on the roll and if it hits is an auto-crit.
Shooting through teammates the enemy only gets +2 to AC(half cover) which is much easier to hit than disadvantage.
Basically, at midnight CT the websites will be shut down in order for the migration to the new websites. The next few days are going to be a bit of a scramble to get everything settled, so if you already are on the current sites, please be patient.
If you are one of the people who came with FH, and have been waiting for a FH branded site with their content only, it will be launching tomorrow! Stay here, check it out, either way please be mindful that this is a transition and things will be a bit shaky.
Hope some of you are as excited for the site to finally go up as I am!
Honestly, it'd be best if you did your own editing of your own content. I strongly suggest this actually, because it shows a greater ownership of your work, and you wont have any bias based on how they edited it. There are a few free services you can use to record footage and even audio. Check out OBS and Audacity.
Honestly, the best type of project you can make is an original one. But if you really want to go down the route of editing down other people's works, a best of video would work.
Depends if you contend with the 20 other games released on Steam everyday then I guess. And whether or not you built a community for some assured sales for your games. It's no wonder more people are moving to itch.io, Switch and Discord.
Not true at all - people offer paid internships all over and there are internship co-op programs that work with companies that get you paid internships. Look-up MECOP, for instance.
Source: I'm a senior in college that has received paid internships lol
Edit: Oh look, Intel (a company that pays interns) has a very similar job.
I did some google searched and it turned up some cnet, softpedia, and other risky sites.
You can try this one at oldversions. I've had pretty decent results with that site. It's where I usually grab software that has been ruined with adware and other garbage by the developers.
Polymations is the name of my upcoming series of shorts, both original and fanimations. Named due to both the low-poly models and the fact that the animations will be done in a stop-motion style. Spent my day putting this image together for you guys ;)
Also, here's a version optimized for printing should you ever feel inclined :)
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/10250151/Funhaus_printable.tif
Actual animations coming soon :)

Ultimate Spider-Man is a great suggestion because it has a really clear beginning and end. The hardest thing for newbies is just where to start. Do I need to start with Action Comics #1 with Superman? If I just walk into a comic shop and buy an Iron Man issue will I know what's going on? It is pretty confusing, compared to a regular book series which simply starts at Book 1 and ends at whatever.
I'll also throw in a couple of suggestions which I can't link because I'm meant to be doing work:
All-Star Superman by Grant Morrison
Swamp Thing by Alan Moore (start with Saga of the Swamp Thing Vol. 1)
HellBoy by Mike Mignola (start with Hellboy Library Edition Vol. 1)
Kingdom Come by Mark Waid/Alex Ross
Chew by Richard Layman (ok I had to link to something with this one, it's just so damn good. Sorry boss)
There's so, so much more, eg the Hellblazer series (John Constantine) and Sandman (by Neil Gaiman) and Red Son (a Superman alternate reality story) but they start getting a little funky to follow until you get a bead on how comics work.
They could be using Photoshop or a more specialized software that has Fog of War and Line of Sight reveal like Maptools http://www.rptools.net/toolbox/maptool/ or even Roll20 a site that does the same thing https://roll20.net/
Yep that could work to, essentially have the rapid spinning be your loading animation, while you calculate the 10-20 games you want to put in the wheel, and grab their images, then load them into the wheel and slow it down.
0.1s delay for example makes it impossible to distinguish the components of the wheel http://jsbin.com/zacehavitu/1/ http://jsbin.com/zacehavitu/1/edit
You can buy the game and all its expansions as a download off of Amazon for like $20
There's also a crapton of mods out there if you get bored with the vanilla animals.
A 75% off sale in any context reeks of scams, especially for just putting in a sponsorship code, and the fact that I've heard NordVPN use the term "military grade encryption" in their commercials and sponsorships doesn't help with that, since the military uses the same encryption as anyone else. I think the main problem is that they want their main demographic to not just be tech savvy people. Sure, I'd like non tech savvy people to use VPNs, but when companies like NordVPN sponsor people who don't know anything about VPNs to sell to people who don't know anything about VPNs, you can see where abuse could crop up.
My friend let me use his PIA subscription until it ran out, and I can say that they were just fine and aren't a scam, and have been proven not to keep logs. I'd suggest them over NordVPN any day.
All in all, please don't buy Nord, /u/betasteeps
I don't know if there's one for Funhaus yet, but here's the Inside Gaming Soundboard. There also used to be a Brucie Bird phone game, but it's not on google play anymore. :(
I'll throw in the idea of GOGhaus. (They bought Undying from GOG so they know the service exists.) Or itch.io keyword search like Jim Sterling used to do (come up with keywords and see what it brings up in itch.io).
Yeah! Here is the link to the movie set. You may also just try calling your closest Barnes and Noble because we can also just get one sent to the store if you want to avoid shipping.
It's a kink/fetish thing from the depths of erotic fanfiction, a pretty popular one if I remember correctly.
Here's a link to the most popular abo stories on the website they were on.
The title confused me, I thought "Revival" was a name of a game they played and the videos got taken down...
It's also because I came across this video and it was not available, though it was still available on DailyMotion
FFA DEATHMATCH! With musical guest Dethklok! FIFA tourney rules, TRIPLE ELIMINATION, No Holds Barred, RAGE in the CAGE!!!! This sunday, Sunday, SUNDAY!!! ...kids tickets just five bucks!
*edit Audio Version
(hope it works I just googled and found a nice groupon)
Yes but a restricted brand safe mode is something advertisers find appealing which means they'll pay more to have their advertising next to this squeaky clean content rather than risk it with other youtube content. It's the reason youtube ad rates are utter shit, because advertisers dont really trust youtube. So youtube does these advertiser friendly things because higher ad rates = higher revenue for youtube = happy google = maybe someday making a profit?
also fun fact youtube spends more on its content than Netflix because half of the ad revenue goes to creators
I saw you just went to Arches NP. If you're still in Utah, the mountains up north from Salt Lake and beyond are pretty great, a lot of them will undoubtedly kick your ass. Won't be as cool as hiking on an active volcano, but the views are still pretty great.
The major ones I have in mind still has patches of snow on it, so if you have some traction for your shoes and are comfortable on some snow I could throw out some suggestions. I've been living here temporarily since October and have been doing a lot of hiking in the area. If you're not keen on driving all the way up north, Mount Ellen would be a pretty good summit hike, it's one of the taller mountains in the area so the views you'll get from it would be crazy cool, especially seeing all the canyons from a birds-eye view. That being said, the catch is it's not exactly strenuous. Last time I saw it was around August 15th, it still had some snow on it, I suspect a lot of it has melted but I can't say that with much guarantee.
Otherwise: I don't know much about Colorado (except for the fact that you're gonna hit snow in the higher elevation ranges, mid-June is still a tad early for total snow-free hikes in a lot of mountain ranges, especially this year), but I know the Wind River Range in Wyoming looks pretty damn cool, otherwise there's summits in the Tetons like Mt Fitzpatrick or Mt Wagner, but those are guaranteed to have a good amount of snow on them still. Really depends on your experience level and all that.
I'd recommend using Inkscape to trace the bitmap in order to smooth it out a little bit. I did it here so you could see what I'm talking about.
/u/jaylain made a movie list in this post.
Edit : add link for the lazy funhausers.
I can help with this! I think someone had asked this in male fashion advice a few months back and a user provided a link. Here they are on Amazon.
I made these last week because the shirts got too big for me. I've lost a lot of weight over the last few months. My boyfriend had just got these shirts for me last year for our anniversary. i felt bad that i was barely wearing them anymore so I looked online for some ideas and ended up I finding the idea for Tshirt art on youtube. All i did was fit a tshirt onto a 11x14inch piece of Scretched Canvas, cut the excess shirt away and held everything in place with some glue from a hot glue gun.
The signatures are from Dan and Matt ^ . The bitcoin was handed to me by James Willems during Funhaus Live.
If you're interested in doing something similar This is the video that i got the idea from.
and this is the Amazon link to the Canvas i used.
If you (and u/FH_Elyse) wanna read a very fun, non-biography of Harry S. Truman I highly recommend:
Harry Truman's Excellent Adventure by Matthew Alego
After he left office Truman, and his wife, went on a cross country adventure. It's such a bizarre thing to realize, back in the day, that President's could do this sort of thing and not worry too much about safety.
I also recommend Alego's other books that cover topics such as: William H. Taft secret cancer surgery, The Steagles (the year the Pittsburgh Steelers and Philadelphia Eagles merged teams due to WWII), and Pedestrianism (when watching people walking was a sport).
That's just a bad ripoff of Audioshield, and the major difference between those and this is that Beat Saber has beatmaps specifically charted for this music where those are just dynamically generated and aren't nearly as engaging, consistent or fun.
Edit: Airtone has charted songs, as does Holodance and I recommend both.
If people like this game and have VR they should check out soundboxing on Steam. Same idea but it uses YouTube videos for the songs so there is a huge selection to choose from.
Depression is a mental illness you stupid fuck, holy shit!
>Mood disorders: These disorders, also called affective disorders, involve persistent feelings of sadness or periods of feeling overly happy, or fluctuations from extreme happiness to extreme sadness. The most common mood disorders are depression, bipolar disorder, and cyclothymic disorder.
> She was obviously mentally unhealthy and needed to seek help/treatment. She was predisposed to suicide/depression, the bullying obviously didn't help.
Key fucking words, BULLYING and DIDNT and HELP. Do you need everything spelled out for you? Jesus fucking christ. You can't be this stupid, you have to be like a teenager or something. I can't believe an adult would be this fucking dumb. I know there are dumb adults but you surpass stupid.
You didn't even know depression was mental illness. Stop... just stop.
I got them on Amazon. Here's the link of the ones I ordered. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07XNJ198M?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
I literally almost bought this earlier this week. it's on sale for more than half off on Amazon atm. I talked about it at my board gaming group Thursday, mostly bc it has a 7.2 on boardgamegeek. Then I came home and saw the promo from funhaus. I been counting a lot of blue cars this week I guess.
Sure do!
And thank you for the legit link! Will purchase shortly 👌
A Night in Halloween House https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09KDSRYMB/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_RHKDMC9G6144MSZ8S35G?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I really enjoyed this type of video. I've always felt the Funhaus guys have really well developed and informed opinions about games that I'm absolutely interested in hearing.
I'm also really glad they mentioned the half-rate animations on any character model 9 meters from you. I played a lot of Planetside 2 on PC and saw a lot of this and it makes sense because that game is obscenely large scale combat with tons of particle effects and explosions. While playing MCC I noticed a TON of half-rate animations because of all the games jumping to 60 FPS and it's very much so back in H5. Though if I had to choose between than and anything less than 60 FPS I'd go with the lesser animations everytime.
I really hope the req pack microtransactions can truly support the maps later on. And maps that aren't just forge created like we're seeing in this early content update. That's not to say I don't want Forge maps, because it is nice to have a new space to shoot reds and blues in. I just want textured walls too.
Adam's closing comment about the story really hits it on the head about where I am about Halo 5's campaign.
> It really sucks being a Halo fan and feeling like I'm not interested in the story anymore.
Hello, I'm a bot! The movie you linked is called The Prodigy, here are some Trailers
Good for you man, leaving college with tangible evidence of your ability is very valuable in the world of software! I am an SET (software engineer in test) I currently design automated test frameworks for Browser based HTML5 games. Happy to help out where possible!
First few suggestions:
Get your project organised. There are plenty of free to use platforms out there. Have a look at something like Trello: https://trello.com/
You will need source control. The obvious choice is git and GitHub to host the repo: https://github.com
Building a 2d engine for the game is not worth the hassle, I'd recommend doing research into open source mobile game engines
Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.
Recently you guys briefly touched on your board game preferences. Just wanted to compliment you on your taste. My friends are always up for a couple rounds of Coup, and I share James's disdain for Cards Against Humanity.
Have you considered doing a series or a one-off video of you all playing a tabletop game? May I recommend Snake Oil? https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/113289/snake-oil
James, I've mentioned this before on this sub, but there's actually a third-party save manager for L.A. Noire.
It was created mostly so players could try different dialogue options without restarting the entire mission, but since some of them were also having issues with corrupt save files (like you said happened to you), it became an indispensable piece of software.
Coincidentally, I was playing the PC version around the same time as you guys, and have backup saves with basically the same cases completed.
I am more than willing to share those with you, if you're ever planning on continuing Idiot Detective. Just let me know if you're interested!
As general advice, before starting any gameplay on PC, I'd recommend checking out the PCGamingWiki for issues and possible fixes.
Which raises the question: if Funhaus is using a PCSX2 emulator anyway why don't they just download and use disk images? There's at least fifty Official U.S. Playstation Magazine Demo Discs for download on this directory alone. Just burn them to blank discs, grab em out of a bucket and break em when they're spent.
> if I'm the only one selling the game
But Epic isn't the only one selling the games. Epic has already made some of their exclusives available from third party retailers and more are on the way.
Just had a quick look, for multiple players you may want to hit up OpenLiero X @ http://www.openlierox.net/wiki/index.php/Main_Page
From memory, the official Liero had a 2 player limit with no network play

That said, I use uBlock Origin in conjunction with a hardware based adblocker and it didn't stop me from being able to read the article.
Idk if that's good, but it seems good for being on all of Amazon. I'd be stoked at that. I hope the book does well. I think I will get it. I wouldn't be that interested in a straight sci-fi book, but the fact that it's sci-fi humor has me intrigued. Will probably order it ngl.
/u/fh_elyse, some say the hardest part about creating any piece of art is just starting, as a published author , what motivated you to put a good idea to paper. To start that first sentence on the first page?
/u/mc_lotta, great tunes on spotify by the way. Mom's Home for anyone looking to listen. Do you have any tips or programs for recording music as a solo musician?
Shameless plug: Just finished A Night in Halloween House by Funhaus's own Elyse Willems, and it's a great read!
Even if the pacing gets a bit wonky at points, I was glued to the screen by the halfway point!

Sam Riegel on Critical Role has mastered this as well. To the point that they’re posted on their own on YouTube by fan run CR highlight channels and they get hundreds of thousands of views. They’ve recently entered into a recurring sponsorship with NordVPN, and he’s turned it into a mini series (Nord by Nordwest) that is 90s hacker nonsense in the best way—Matt Lillard even stopped by to guest as his role from Hackers, Cereal an Ad.
And I realize I just typed a lengthy paragraph about being willfully suckered in my advertising.
Same here (though my First membership is not active at the moment). I watch Dude Soup live on RTTV eveyr week. And i find that some shows I end up skipping the Youtube version, because I watched them record live (GTA is the most common one).
I hope it isn't causing issues longterm for FH, and that the advertising on stream (mostly ExpressVPN) is enough to make up for the views lost.
Why are you framing it so negatively? ExpressVPN have signed a deal to be a preroll ad on every RT video atm, that's great financial security for the company in the current time. Other companies have still had ad reads during content too so no it's not a case of nobody else being willing to sponsor them.
Erin Ferrett will never have to worry about this, but you should, and that's your internet privacy. Luckily there's ExpressVPN. With ExpressVPN, your internet use is secure, and your personal info will never "sellout." PICK-IT-UP-UP at
The tone and facial expression of Alanah’s “Do you have a home?” fucking killed me. I love our energetic bagel boy though.
“Why do you feel more foreign than me sometimes?” was fantastic too
And not for nothing, but boy, ExpressVPN seriously shelled out for this campaign, they’ve been on a sponsored tear (nothing wrong with that, just noticing the consistency).
I'm just curious about the ExpressVPN sponsorship, is that a short-term or long-term advertisement for the future? (I don't mind it because it's actually a pretty non-intrusive ad, doesn't interrupt gameplay. and the gang gets their sponsorship dollals. Win win)
Pocket Casts, usually the android version but has a web version to use too. Screenshot is web version.
I once bought a personalized Starbucks cup for a friend from Caffeine and Wine through Amazon. You can change the ring color and the text plus it was under 20 bucks including shipping. You can try checking that out.
Edit: link there might be cheaper ones on etsy, but I can't attest to their quality, this one was pretty nice.
You guys should get a 4k webcam so when you do punch ins and crops you don't lose as much quality. You still serve in 1080 but you get the 4x cropping room of the higher resolution.
like this one: https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-BRIO-Conferencing-Recording-Streaming/dp/B01N5UOYC4
Yeah, the Weekender is the one I ended up getting. I really like it, it fulfills the two tasks I require of a watch: 1) telling time and 2) not looking terrible. It's cheap enough (not $15 like I originally said, I paid $35) that you don't really even need to get it repaired, you could just buy another one. If it has sentimental value for you though, you do you.
I think I remember that... not sure if this is the book he's talking about but this is literally the illustrators bible: http://www.amazon.com/Anatomy-Artist-Sarah-Simblet/dp/078948045X/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1452621275&sr=8-1&keywords=anatomy+for+the+artist
ok i think its prbably this one. $20 for a piece of foam is pretty crazy tho
Does the background noise sound like static noise? I had this same issue and I believe it was due to some electrical feedback (not entirely sure about the cause of it) from my motherboard when my mic was plugged in directly.
I looked around for solutions and some people recommended a sound card. But there is one cheap solution I found which has helped me. I bought this device, which is sort of USB sound adapter.
Plugging my mic into that helped get rid of the static noise. Let me know if you have any other questions, I will try to help.
I kinda liked the style of the Movie. Okay it wasn't the best anime-ish movie i've watched but there's worse :D (I'm looking at you Bayonetta! It was an okayish movie but again,i've seen better ones)
A couple people are reccommending Podcast Addict, but I switched from that to Player FM (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=fm.player&hl=en) due to problems getting some Podiobooks to work on Podcast Addict and I have nothing but good things to say about the app or its interface. It also has a web client linked to your Google account so you can listen to Podcasts from web browsers as well.
Oh android? Then also try BeyondPod/Podcast Republic. Pretty sure you'll love one of them :)
Also if you don't mind me asking, which app did you use to listen to podcasts before?
