I watched a video that featured this guy. He makes his movies with discarded computers and casts his friends and neighbors. It's all actually really cool. They don't have much but they have a blast making the movies.
He seems like history's chillest dude.
http://www.bbc.com/news/magazine-32531558 I think this is the guy.
Edit: I mean come on. Dude has a studio that teaches kung fu to kids to keep them off the streets and train them to be action heros. This guy is a fucking machine.
Edit 2: I realize "fucking machine" was a poor way to phrase it, but I'm leaving it, because it's hilarious.
I know some people are calling nigeria/Uganda bullshit: I'm not sure where OP sourced his clip, I just know it seems like this Ugandan dude's work. Not saying it's him. Just saying that article is worth a read. I'm no expert. Never claimed to be, but don't write it off. Dude has a story that deserves to be heard.
Edit 3: https://www.patreon.com/wakaliwood heard this was his page. Admittedly did zero research because I'm in a bar working on my 7th blue moon. I'm sure I'll get destroyed in comments if it isn't him. Check muh facts reddit. I double dawg dare you. Just make sure we're really right when we give. These crazy motherfuckers deserve our money. They deserve everything. Just make sure we come correct. Nam sayin?
This is a controversial article to be sure, but I stand by my beliefs. Like the time I was fifteen and I ... oh god, I owned a Che Guevera shirt and carried around a copy of NO LOGO and would sneer when I saw people cracking into a Nestle. But look, okay, this is a much more reasonable standpoint. I don't see anything that will change my mind on this one. Besides, I'm constantly delighted by Lyte's efforts to be the stern stepfather to the greater League community. If you disagree, fight me irl, you scr - [USER HAS BEEN BANNED]
About Me
I had a dream - a dream to enter esports. However, I suck at video games and my face looks like 10 pounds of mashed potato in a 5 pound bag. Luckily, I learned to crack jokes and draft content. I plan to climb over my colleagues at Esports Express to become Internet Famous. If you want to get in on the ground floor of what I call "The Cassandra Plan", maybe reply to this comment, say I'm lookin' good today.

Memes don’t sleep, and neither do we.
We applied at 50 other subreddits and were rejected by all for not fitting in with the atmosphere of hard work, impartial moderation, and clear, logically sound policymaking. So we came to you instead.
Have you watched The Departed? You know, the movie where a bunch of criminals infiltrate the police department but later they no longer know who they work for? Yeah, that movie sucked, especially the ending with the CGI rat. Infernal Affairs was so much better.
Unknown, I’m just one genius savant using several reddit personas.

I'll admit that following this whole thing and reading all the opinions brought me back to law school. I especially had flashbacks when reading esportslaw's article on Daily Dot.
I am picturing the SpectateFaker guy like some sort of besieged last-man-standing bunkering himself up against DMCA takedowns scratching at his door like zombies. Or maybe he's Bane, looking to bring down Gothambuzu one player at a time... "nobody cared until I turned on the stream."
This one was not easy to write because all the sides are kind of right on a lot of issues. It's not a cut-and-dry "this guy deserves to get made fun of" like a lot of other articles. Hopefully we achieved some sort of balance here, well as much balance as a silly satire article about an already ridiculous situation can be.
Thanks for reading!

On a more serious note, we at Esports Express can only hope that Dyrus is home safe and sound before long. The professional League of Legends circuit just isn’t a safe place for such a gentle soul.
About Me
At the tender age of twenty eight, I ran away from home to pursue my dreams and become a professional memesmith. That dream hasn’t been easy, I work the imagebellows for hours at a time and often my fingers are scorched raw by the heat from the jokeforge.

These gmail articles are pretty difficult to make but they're also fun too, we just sit in a chat and brainstorm strange ideas. It was pretty hard not to go crazy on the fine this fine that stuff, at one point we had Nick fining his own laptop 8 gb of ram for malfunctioning on him, and we all collectively thought "OK we've come too far."
Big thanks to Joe and Hal for helping work on this, was very fun.

The Esports Express staff was ring side for all of this delightful drama as it developed, eagerly taking notes as new manifestos were released. Unfortunately, Aphromoo forced us to flee our desk so that he could piledrive Santorin through it. With the scant belongings we could take with us, we put this article together. We hope you enjoy reading it as much we did writing it.
About Me
As a young girl, I looked at my Gamecube's library and denounced Mario Party as "imba trash" while praising Super Smash Brothers melee as an exquisitely balanced masterpiece. Soon after, I was taken away by the leaders of esports journalism to hone my skills and learn what it meant to truly write video game satire. It seems to be going OK so far.

The idea for this article came from our new writer, Cassandra, whose palm we crossed with silver so that she would read for us the skeins of fate that determined our esports futures. I will die cold and alone. Hot_Bid wanted to put Richard Lewis as the janitor for the high school, but he was quickly fired when he refused to fix any leaks.
For what it’s worth, I for one am pleased to see that Riot’s high school will launch in time to see it compete with the recently announced (and genuinely not fictional) NiP summer camp in Sweden. North America and Scandinavia can at last compete on equal footing by fostering esports competition at a level unseen since the competitive rivalry between Bayside and Valley’s wrestling teams.
About Me
I am an esports oral storyteller whose works were first discovered in ogham carved into stones in the sixth century. ESEX is proud to continue that fifteen century old tradition. If you enjoy our content, you can find Esports Express at:
The actual writer for this post, Joe, is currently stuck in a biology class learning about apex predators in actual jungles and their camouflaged skins. Mrs. Henderson has refused to let him have a class off to write about any fictional jungles, so we’re going to have to field this one for him.
Megan, he’d like to ask you to prom. I know, I was surprised too, but he’s a good dude. I’d consider it.
As someone who came from Dota to League relatively recently, the tight pool of junglers has always just been a fact of League life for me. It wasn’t until I heard people reminiscing about a bygone age when the jungle was more of an “anything goes” space (at least by comparison) that I found things hadn’t always been so constricted. It seems strangely sad to lose that level of variation, even as someone who wasn't around to see it firsthand.
For the sake of form, the one off joke that I enjoyed most in this article was Joe’s nostalgic Reddit username, “remember_the_ayy_lmao.” I’m not even sure why I like that name so much, but when I read it first I just creased up.
Jokes I was specifically forbidden from ever putting in any article:
“The more you strategise, diverse it gets.”

All jokes aside though, waking up at/before a certain time is a legitimate problem for me. Like, forget puzzle alarms if I'm somehow deaf to the alarm in the first place. Needless to say, the Esports Express crew has been keenly watching the recent developments on /r/leagueoflegends, and the Chroma packs pushed us over the edge. We ended up with 2.5 seperate drafts on various facets of the topic, and I suited up, Dr. Frankenstein style, to stitch it together. My favourite joke in this one is probably all of them. Like Meryl Streep, I find the concept of choosing to be impossibly cruel and harsh.
About Me
I am the newest writer for Esports Express. Before working on esports journalism, I was a reporter on the fascinating field of origami; I would update the latest stories as they unfolded. HotBid and SirJolt, amazed at my incredible wit, kidnapped me and put me to work watching LCS. So far, it's a great partnership.

The ESEX Skype chat room was a place of much mourning after Team Liquid's 3-0 win. Some harsh words were said, mostly towards me, because I wanted the series to hurry up and end so I could go to Easter dinner with my mom without checking my phone for esports results. The first draft for this article was me repenting by examining a new, brighter future for CLG. After their Korean scrim went awry, it became clear there was only one more place they could go to improve. The original draft was deemed "too dark", and Joe arrived to add some much needed whimsy to the piece.
About Me

Tortoises eat weird shit...quite literally, in Africa they are particularly fond of eating hyena poop, perhaps because it is so high in calcium from all the bones hyenas snack on. Darren Naish has some good pics of his friends box turtle eating a rat skull (check out his whole blog), which I found when I was looking for a famous image of David Attenborough's showing an Aldabran tortoise eating one of his friends, and Darren seems to have the only image of it online. Other than the calcium a large proportion of many turtles is high in protein, from worms and grubs and snails and all sorts of meaty things, there is a video on youtube of redfoot tortoises chomping baby rats. Yum.

We were going to publish this article within hours of CLG's victory, but:
I, the head writer, was in the middle of a freshman orientation meeting.
Hal, another writer, was in China, which has apparently banned Google Docs.
Cass was ... doing ... something? Maybe with cats?
SirJolt, editor, was asleep.
Just some insight into our advance operations.
About Me
Hey, how do I make friends with other freshmen?
I mean, I'm usually pretty sociable. For example, I'll sometimes go up to a group of people I don't know. Suddenly tripping on my socks and sandals, I flail around in the ground, attracting everyone's attention. Eventually getting up, with sweat dripping down my university lanyard and Rush graphic tee, I decide to open up with my usual greeting: "I'm fucking donezo, lol. That was a joke about CLG, which is this dank meme video game team, haha. More like *Free*LG, amirite?" Then I usually get the cold shoulder, so I leave, listening to indie pop on full speakers on my way back to my dorm.
What am I doing wrong?

Absolutely. Apart from twitch/youtube revenue, they also have setup a patreon which makes them 1000$ a month right now,
The only reason I was made aware of ADWCTA was because Kripp used HearthArena and I wanted to see the guys who made that website stream. It is not like they did not profit at all from this collaboration. And the programmer makes zero from their new found celebrity status.
This works both ways.
Edit: Just to clarify this post was written when everyone on the sub seemed to be wholeheartedly on ADWCTA's side, so I was presenting the other side of the argument for balance at the time.
Now, that the pendulum has shifted to the middle, I feel a bit guilty joining in burying these two fine gentlemen. ADWCTA/Merps are incredibly intelligent, offer truly unique services, and they have played a crucial role in the success of HearthArena. ADWCTA has a history of obsessive analytical gaming and used to write guides for Civ 5 before. It would not be easy to replace them at all.
Reading news about myself is really, really strange.
Thanks for the heads up though! A big thanks to everyone for liking and above all using my assets in your projects. Over the past couple of months I've seen hundreds of projects pass by and honestly, I'm often impressed how creative some of you can get with a few simple sprites.
As /u/clintbellanger already said; there's no stopping and I've still got hundreds of assets in the works. The donations, Steam sales and future Patreon pledges make sure that I can keep all the assets public domain and keep creating new packs to cover all possibly genres in gaming.
Again, THANKS everyone for the support and love!

This seems to have become the catch-all for people who put themselves out there and regret it.

This was actually Sir Jolt's idea, originally, but he was struggling with coming up with Cosmo style writing. "Oh no," he cried to the heavens. "Isn't anyone on our team someone who, as a sexually frustrated teen, devoured countless Cosmos to try to please her boyfriend? Is there none among us who once gave her boyfriend an Indian Sunburn on the dick 'cause she read so much Cosmo?"
Well, dear readers, I answered the call, and here we are.

Hi folks, I’m SirJolt. I’m one of ESEX’s writers/editors (at least while our editor in chief is in China).
I’m really glad people are enjoying this one; with posts like this, you’re always going to be walking a fine line, but the Garena post that we were commenting seemed to demand some kind of response.
In these situations, the hardest thing is definitely trying to keep any kind of perspective, especially given the fact that the temptation is to just try to be more bombastic and ridiculous than the post you’re commenting on. In this instance, that seemed to be almost impossible, so the wisest course seemed to be to ask, “What would happen in a world in which Garena’s suppositions about LGBT players were true?”
From there, the rest of the post came together quite naturally.
If you like the content we make and would like to support us, you can check out our Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/esexlol
Shoutout to those of you already supporting us, especially Perrin, who helped make this post work :D
Dwarf Fortress - It's not on Steam, it's free, it's not advertised anywhere... but Toady used to get 3000-4000$ a month on donations.
Now that he has a patreon set up, he gets 4246$ per month (https://www.patreon.com/bay12games?ty=h) - One person getting 4000$ per month working on a free ascii game... that's success for me
I'm an editor that's saved this post. I will one day get around to it.

EDIT: For those unable to watch (or to watch right now) /u/ProfessorSTAFF has been passionate about making content for an engaged audience for his whole life. While he has loved making content for us, he is finding it too time consuming to manage this as a hobby in addition to his two other jobs. He has asked for $881.15 per month from his collective audience to allow him to transition this hobby into a legitimate bills-paying part-time job.
There's a ton of good news here.
1) He will continue to produce content even if we can't fund him, but we will have to accept that it will be somewhat more sporadic.
2) The video has been up less than an hour and nearly 1/3rd of his goal has been pledged at Patreon!
3) If we can DOUBLE the goal he will produce ADDITIONAL CONTENT and let the Patrons nominate and vote on the topics!
It's only fitting to end this with: Many Magic the Gathering fans ask: "How can they help others who love this game? What represents a good value for your disposable dollars, when it comes to cardboard and cardboard accessories?" I hope this TL;DW has been of some help to you!
While the main focus of this article is on Riot’s removal of Kirei from the roster of potential LCS champions, the part that I think we had the most fun writing was the ESEX adaptation of Bilgewater Act 5. We spent a solid 90 minutes with four writers in voice chat last night trying desperately to read Riot’s lore, and while I was unable to force myself through the whole thing, Joe, Hal, and Cass made it a lot further than I did. Cass even claims to have read it all, though there’s no way anyone could ever know.
One of the ESEX Patreon goals has long been that we would rewrite Riot’s lore for League of Legends piece by piece. This was the first opportunity we’ve had to show what that would look like.
About Me
I have been an esports lore archivist for almost nine hours. In that time, I’ve seen things. Things you people wouldn’t believe...
Infinitives split and split again.
Nouns to which eight or even nine adjectives had been cruelly spliced.
Pasts so dark and mysterious that light cannot escape them.

Similarly, Patreon. It has a lot in common. You get more rewards the more you pay and there are milestone rewards for reaching funding goals but it's a monthly payment (or payment by piece of art created) to support the artist rather than one sum for a single thing. It's revolutionary for people like web cartoonists or youtubers. Before, they had to rely on unpredictable ad revenue but now they are making consistent salaries! Also, check out Tom Siddell's highest milestone goal.
Hey everyone! Sorry I'm a bit inactive lately -- I've started hanging out more with other webcomic people, which ironically leaves less time for webcomics, I guess? Time to stop hanging out with those nerds. Nothing good can come of this "friendship" business.
Anyway, if you like my work, consider visiting http://owlturd.com/ or my Webtoon, Bluechair. Or supporting me on Patreon if that's your jam. If that is, in fact, not your jam, then I hope to have a little digital publication out soon -- so don't worry about it. :]
Thank you for reading!
The funny thing about our Gmail articles is that you have to read from bottom to top to get any chronological jokes, since that's how emails are ordered chronologically in real emails. It's rather reminiscent of that one sci-fi movie and/or post-modern movie involving time manipulation.
I would say more, but I don't want to give away any jokes, as part of the fun is finding all the random shit we spent seven hours trying to hide in this image.
About Me
I've been watching Bojack Horseman Season 2, and [it didn't get as dark as Season 1 until Episode 8](/spoiler). That was kind of disappointing, since I really like depressing, existential, sardonic TV shows and movies. Do you guys have any suggestions for other shows/movies for me to watch? I really liked Moral Orel, Cowboy Bebop, Dr. Strangelove, and Brazil.

I posted this in the thread for the main post, but I thought I'd put it here too, just to help explain where we were coming from with this article.
The Matrix Reloaded is the much-anticipated sequel to the Wachowski brothers’ 1999 box office sensation. Unfortunately, the film’s solid special effects and a standout performance from Hugo Weaving fail to save it from its slow collapse into a clumsy and disappointing mess. Rather than elaborating on the philosophical questions posed by its predecessor, The Matrix Reloaded serves only to introduce a bewildering array of new characters and entities, none of whom with the the same sense of life or originality as in the original. The choreography we enjoyed so much has become a stultifying whirl of greys and blue-greens, a dizzying morass of CGI from which no excitement or interest could be derived.
In years to come, we can only hope that The Matrix Reloaded fades so completely from memory that we can, once again, enjoy the first film on its own merits. As it stands, however, the film serves only to weaken a once interesting premise.
About Me
While I am not a professional film reviewer, I have watched The Matrix Reloaded twice. Somewhere during the second viewing, I realised that, with every clone of Agent Smith added to the action, I was losing a part of myself. I now no longer watch any film starring Hugo Weaving for fear that I will be further diminished.

I'm a very nostalgic type, personally, and some of my fondest memories are associated with PC games like SiN, Heretic, AoE & AoM, and Gameboy games -- specifically Pokemon Silver & LoZ Oracle of Seasons, in my case. But while those games are all charming in their own right, when I go back to them, they just don't have those little "quality of life" improvements that we've all come to take for granted -- "fast-travel", deliberate & clear storytelling, easy UI, auto-saving & loading. They just sorta throw you in, with very little context.
Maybe that is the charm? I dunno, what do you all think?
I'm the last ESEX writer to introduce himself. I write most of the good articles and all of the bad. Here is the full Shakespeare quote, modified for esports relevancy:
>Methinks I am a prophet new inspired
>And thus expiring do foretell of him:
>The rash fierce blaze of Riot cannot last,
>For violent fires soon burn out themselves;
>Small show'rs last long, but sudden storms are short;
>He tires betimes that spurs too fast betimes;
>With eager feeding doth choke the feeder;
>Light vanity, insatiate cormorant,
>Consuming means, soon preys upon itself.
Anyways, as a major employee of a tournament (LCS), Deficio should in no way have any conflict of interest (future employment) with a competitor (Copenhagen Vovles). Riot could have fired him and banned him from the LCS, but was lenient and basically prevented Deficio from ever facing such a conflict of interest.
About Me
By the eighth year of my existence, my destitute mother had no longer the means of sustaining both her and me with her wages; and preferring self-survival she placed me under the apprenticeship of an esteemed Memewright. At first I could not craft but a paltry one-liner with the dankness of a grain of Saharan sand; but after a year I could conceive of farces as damp and moldy as the viscous mildew that grow within the bed-sheets of old motels.

I'll admit I'm not throwing 10k a month at it because it's only self funded $400 a month + ~$130 from a patreon, but it's a start at least.
A young woman named Kitty Genovese was murdered outside her apartment while her neighbours all waited for one another to call the police in the year of 1964. In 2015, something strikingly similar is happening. Except instead of an actual murder, it's a metaphorical murder, of someone's reputation, in esports. And instead of neighbours, it's LCS team owners. And instead of calling the police it's... okay, I've lost the thread of this metaphor.
About Me
When I was born, a gnarled oracle called to the skies: "Ia! Ia! She is born!" This oracle chose to specialize in digital esports satire writers, which is a really weird niche for an oracle, but she's working the hell out of it. Upon hearing that cry, robed monks collected me from my bewildered parents and brought me to a monastery where I was taught to meme, crack wise, and draft. I brought my talents to Esports Express, where I serve as the newest member of the League team. If you enjoy our content, you can find Esports Express at:
When we heard about the report cards for players, we were all delighted that a kinder, gentler League of Legends awaited us in the future. But is it possible that Riot has gone too far? I thought the answer might be 'yes', until someone told me to 'suck [his] dick and hear nothing but the music'. Now, I hope they stop at nothing. I eagerly await the grim march forward for player behaviour reform.
About Me
I am the newest member of the Esports Express team, and we each wield a ring with an element of digital esports satire. Mine is 'heart', which sounds really lame but it's actually super useful, I swear.

We have two new writers in the Esports Express chat room. One of them is Dan, who I believe introduced himself with our last article, and now we have Keith. Keith can Photoshop. This is a big fucking deal. Our editor SirJolt can finally rest his weary claw hands. No longer will he awake to our head writer, Joe, sending him 10+ specific messages about Photoshop. From now on, we can measure ESEX in BK (Before Keith) and AK (After Keith). We're continuing to experiment with new content, and we hope you find these infographics to be a feast to your eyes and a boon to your competitive skills.
About Me
I am an Esports plumber. It's rough work, and my parents were skeptical when I told them that I planned to go into the niche field of esports plumbing. Basically I go to gaming houses and ask if anything is wrong with their toilets. When they say no, I break in and smell their high quality gaming products. It's working out really well for me.

PawN is a legend. It's just a pity that he chose to be a hero right when WE were in the process of writing their own cinderella story. We've thrown around the idea of parodying Daily Mail before (an article which we will release to patreon subscribers, wink wink), and we thought the absurdity of this situation lent well to the factual and literary journalistic style of Buzzfeed. While I was working on the article, my girlfriend looked over my shoulder and started gushing about how much she loves Buzzfeed and how much time she spends on the site and all about the quizzes she took the other day. In unrelated news, I have tickets for two to Jay Sean this weekend if anyone wants to join me.
About Me
For eight hundred years have I written satire. A satire writer must have the deepest commitment, the most insane mind. Through the lens of satire, things you will see. Other points of view. Your heroes, your enemies. Many faces you will discover: everyone's but your own.

Thank you, and thanks for the Reddit gold!
But for anyone else thinking of giving gold... I've got like 5 years of it. Maybe consider donating to my Patreon instead?
sorry for the shameless plug
(And by request for single donations instead of recurring, I now also have paypal and google wallet: )
I believe ESEX should commit itself to achieving the goal of getting a reporter into World Championships and returning him safely to headquarters. No single project in this period will be more impressive, or more important to the long-range development of the eSports scene, and none will be so dank.
I’d like to congratulate Riot on managing to congregate all the people in Tallahassee under 70 years of age in one venue.
Additionally, I’d like to congratulate Forgiven on his transfer to Gambit Gaming. I wonder if he’s ever sat down with Rekkles and just had an honest, down-to-earth, cathartic bitching-session about their teams.
About Me
I am a connoisseur of dank memes with, according to Reddit, dark, hidden roots. Very dark, very hidden, very roots.

Hi all, this is what I've been working on for the past six month. It's about 250 woodworks, and I'm using it to launch my patreon account.
I'll be doing vlogs from my studio, and attempting to finance my work through fan support.
Thanks to everyone at r/mma, this is the first place I found any support at all, back in 2012 and this year I'm going to make some major attempts towards become a full time artist.
Chris
This is my favourite time of year. The insane roster swaps, the rumours created by intrepid detectives, the new teams emerging, examining the graphic design of new teams' logos... Ah yes, there's just something magical about the off season. Oh, and I guess there's some event on Saturday? Might be cool. Anyways, I hope you enjoy our take on all the latest headlines that are dominating the Esports scene lately.
About Me
I am an aspiring semi-pro esports girlfriends. Pros, if you want a girlfriend, send me a DM. I'm fine with being ignored for eight months of the year, I'll post flattering pictures of you on Twitter, and if you ever fuck up in a game you are absolutely free to throw me under the bus. Hit me up, serious offers only.

patreon's a third party service and it clearly shows how much money everybody gets so it's pretty easy to verify that she actualy has 582 patreons for 13.188$ per month
This is worth mentioning to Patreon as well. If she can call a "friend at Patreon" to allow her to violate the TOS, it's a serious issue that they need to be made aware of.
> Seriously. What's up with that woman?
This is no different than the mentality that led people to mega churches. People want to hear what they like, hear bad things about people they don't and throw money at the person standing on stage.
Now that the younger generation is moving to athiesm it's not like those types of people will go away, they'll just change their platform.
Witch hunts are nothing new, they just come up with new names for witches.
Brothers and sisters, a word.

Hey folks,
This article is probably direct enough that there isn't too much additional insight I can offer here, however I can tell you that the phrase in this article that stuck in my mind was definitely "native North American players." The time that Joe and Hotbid spent writing this article can't equal the time I spent in quiet contemplation of the plight of the native American progamer.
The first image we tried was of a toucan with vivid colours of its bill replaced with an American flag. This proved unusable because of my lack of "skill."

Issue #1! Hot off the presses at King Fluff Publishing!
I figure every second Friday would be a better release schedule :) Ill try to keep this up, but no guarantees! There could be "unexpected delays"..:/
Hope you get a good chuckle from it!

One thing you guys. If you want good Journalism like TechRaptor is doing, that shit ain't free. Turn off your Adblock, talk about them, fund them https://www.patreon.com/techraptor.
These are exactly the stories the normal games press won't touch. They are being touched. They said get new sites with good content, and this is that.
For six months Techraptor has withstood DDoSes and bullshit to report these stories. Please boost and support that.
EDIT: Also Allistair you're awesome for speaking out, and Georgie thank God Zoe didn't manage to run you off. You're gamergate's https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QdJ3qWlRebg.

These aren't even all the comics the artist has done for this AU. There are several mini-arcs, a few crossovers with other comics, and they're working on a new main chapter called "The King" right now. Check out the Story Archive if you want to read the rest of it. It's probably my favorite post-pacifist comic, and it keeps getting better!
(The artist has a Patreon specifically for Dreemurr-Reborn if you feel like supporting them.)
When we discovered ESPN was making an effort to bridge the gap between polite society and esports, we were thrilled. The Esports Express staff has lived in our isolated monastery since we took our pledge to create the finest digital esports satire. I hope to look upon the face of my brother, once again, and know that he can understand who I am and what I do.
About Me
One time at a Christmas party when I was a teenager, my really cool and attractive quarterback cousin asked what I had been up to lately. I said "Have you ever heard about World of Warcraft?" His hot girlfriend laughed. I hid in a closet for a long time.

Hey peeps! Happy Halloween! :] If you like this, or hate it so much that you've developed this morbid curiosity about what else I make, visit http://owlturd.com/ and consider supporting my Patreon (https://www.patreon.com/owlturd), where you can find out gain access to my secret personal which has somehow become largely about anime I guess???
I feel like people are misinterpreting this comic a bit (and to be fair, I wasn't very clear). I'm not saying that "times have changed" or that the culture surrounding Halloween has changed much in general -- it's more that Halloween for adults is very different from Halloween for kids.
For kids, its socially acceptable to dress up as something just totally made up, whereas adult costumes have to be recognizable, and have to make sense. It's more of a deliberate social ritual, and less of a "I'm just gonna dress up as something scary" type of affair. Hell, when I was a kid, not even adult costumes made sense to me, because I didn't "get it," so I just thought "yay, everything is scary and cool and nothing has to make sense today, so I'm just going to have a sword and a cape because that's my soul-scary-dude." And that's something that I guess I'll never have back.
Ethan: You smart, you loyal, you grateful. I appreciate that. I put 1 dollar in your Patreon account, go buy your mom a house in Israel. Here's another dollar. Go buy your whole family a house. And eat a falafel you deserve it.
He seems to have initially bought the media narrative on gamergate, but changed his mind after a few moments of discussion with GGers. Bogus narratives don't last long on Twitter!
Also, holy shit, he has the lulziest Patreon I've ever seen.
Hey guys, eerily similar post to the end of Straylight incoming.
We're 74,000 words into this mess. It's been one hell of a ride and now I'm moving into the time where I quit my job (once I've finished this website) and just get to working on these getting to Amazon. If you enjoyed TikTok and/or Straylight consider donating to my paypal or patreon
I'm going to make a thing explaining what happens to the subreddit in the next few days!
I suppose you at least got some subscribers off of this, maybe someone will sway towards your Patreon.
Anyhoo - loved the S1 GoT review - tongue in cheek, but not without substance to it.
Cheers!
I did not make the comic but, she does not post to Reddit. So I posted this for her

Long-time WP lurker here.
The number one rule of entrepreneurship (I would consider self-publishing to fall into this category) is to build something people love. You do this, in spades.
Head over to /r/smallbusiness, /r/startups, or /r/entrepreneurship and ask questions. You can use your subreddit and social media to market your works. Perhaps create a weekly/monthly email newsletter, sending out sample pages or complete works/WPs to your fans, and include a "call to action" button ("Buy my new book!") at the bottom of the newsletter...
I know artists can tend to eschew capitalism, but think of it this way: you're providing real value to people, and people will gladly give YOU something of value (money) in exchange. And this lets you focus on your craft, making more art (writing is art!), and providing MORE value.
Lastly, have you heard of Patreon? You can setup an account, direct your adoring fans to it, and they can setup monthly payments to you to help support you as you do yo thang, gurl. :-)
And back to reading prompts! Thanks for all your contributions to this sub/site, Luna!
I think its just Mike, Jay, and Rich that work on RLM full-time. Between $11,000/month from Patreon donations and however much they make from youtube ads, they make enough to get by. And they sell random merchandise and DVDs. Rich and Jack also bring in money from Pre-Rec, not sure if they share that with Mike and Jay or if its even a sizable amount of money.
Side Note:
This Week: Unity NavMesh Tutorial
These series of Unity tutorials are created out of shear anger from the amount of time I have wasted watching Unity tutorials that just wouldn't get to the fucking point.
I have decided to make sure nobody have to tolerate their time wasting nonsense again.
More Videos are coming...
Ok, so a fellow redditor has suggested that I crowd fund this series to allow me to focus on this work alone.
I don't know whether this could work but here goes, I only set it to 30 days though because...well I just don't really think I will get anything but here goes:
https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/bracer-s-straight-to-the-point-unity-tutorial-vids/x/11203954#/story
It should be noted that funded or not, I am going to doing this, so it would just be really nice if you could help in this tangible way but not required.
OH MY GOD I GOT ONE DONATION ! I can't believe it ! Someone actually Donated ! THANK YOU Thomas Fletcher Kildren!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SOMEBODY GAVE ME REDDIT GOLD ! WHO ARE YOU, Please give me your name so I can thank you !
I just set up a Patreon Account:

okay fine jeez.
You guys should totally ignore this, but if you don't, then you guys are awesome. We'll be doing what we do no mater how this goes.
I don't know if this is okay to write but fuck it.
INN work their arses off to get these transcripts out for us, plus countless other shows, articles and up to the minute news. Upvotes are nice but pledging some money to support them is even better.
Come on, guys. Go to their Patreon Page and help them out. They're supporting the SC subreddit and the game itself, it's time to support them.
Since he's too polite to bring it up, RoverDude has a Patreon that you should totally contribute towards. Few bucks a month, and you get a warm and fuzzy feeling (on top of the regular warm and fuzzy feeling) while looking at your glorious steppingstone for all Kerbalkind.
Writing at least three novels a year and getting paid a great sum for all of them.
Edit: For those wondering, I do have a Patreon I just started here: Enjoy!
Extremely high quality. His blowjob one was top notch as well. Too bad he doesnt have a patreon to directly fund his NSFW works
Edit: looks like he does have a patreon. here it is
Check out his DA page if you want more content or if you have any questions here
His social media can be found on his patreon. Very humble and generous man, check out his FAQ and bio.

Just putting it out there. I dont have nothing to do with him, but if you want to support ChanMan use this website. He said in this stream that he quit his job so he could do Hearthstone as a profession. So spending literally a few cents every few weeks doenst hurt you much, but will help him to create this awesome content :)
Kadano has done an amazing amount of work for the Melee community, and specifically Marth mains. For Example:
Kadano's Perfect Marth Class on Smashboards
He constantly pours hours into making informative infographics as well, just check his post history /u/Kadano
I'm of the opinion he should be compensated at least a little bit for all the hard work he does, and if you think so too, here you go: https://www.patreon.com/kadano

The Starter Pack has updated to 40_24 r11! As usual, you can get it here.
This is a big release - I've been accumulating stuff for a while without enough time to actually test it all! Thanks to some very generous people and the general change of focus from keeping up with Toady to making new stuff, this is a good one.
Without too much detail there are some nice fixes (TwbT, graze), beautiful new utilities - go export some legends for BlockyMapApp - and a nice set of UI improvements for new players in the launcher (PyLNP and tooltips) and the early game (mouse-only worldgen!).
But enough talking - go strike the earth!
Changelog: - updated TwbT to 5.45; improved Adventure Mode support - added DwarfMockup 1.0.3; DF-like quickfort blueprint creation interface - added menu-mouse v0.12; makes embark menus click-able - added Blocky Map App 1.0; true 3D renderer for legends mode maps - updated PyLNP to v0.10; mostly UI upgrades - added tooltips to all graphics packs via (new) manifests - fixed missing GRAZE_COEFFICIENT in d_init.txt

I have to admit, seeing my name in the Patreon credits made me puff up my chest a bit!
/u/BaloneyFraise could always use more support at his Patreon page! Throw him a couple of bones so these awesome episodes can keep coming.
Don't forget that Randi has a patreon page she uses that funds and maintains her hateful lifestyle. Tweet them @patreon or use the website to report her page for abuse.

For those of you who don't know, CGP Grey is a popular Youtuber and makes informative videos. I was visiting his Patreon page and noticed the one person he was supporting was Adam.
I thought it was pretty cool to see two of my favourite Youtubers collide.
all of his work is visual novels which I believe is relatively easy to do programming wise (think you can make them directly in flash or other third party programs with no programming knowledge)
He gets 12k a month from patreon alone https://www.patreon.com/akabur?ty=h
His "game" princess trainer is absolutely amazing, worth checking out imo for ideas
Kickstarter is really focused towards the 'early adoption' side of things, usually when the end result will be a product that you actually sell.
If you're looking for donations to fund work you're releasing for free (are there even any pay-for Minecraft mods?), you might consider something like Patreon instead -- it seems to fit the "Hey, I release this for free, want to support me?" aspect of modding better.
As I did here, I am going to let any Patreon supporter choose what story they'd like to see next. Just reply to this comment with your suggestion! But keep it within the general theme of "everyday encounters of a down-on-his-luck necromancer."
If you're a Patreon supporter but don't have flair (and therefore I can't tell that you're a supporter), just message me through Patreon and I'll add flair to your username.
To the programmers defense, ADWCTA was a nobody before Heartharena became successful. He made himself the face of that website. ADWCTA's face comes up in the bubbles that tell you the reasoning behind the evaluations. The front page has multiple links to ADWCTA and Merps content, too. Free promotion, which possibly leads to successful patreonship.
And Heartharena is still a really well designed website. ADWCTA only ever talks about the algorithm, probably because only programmers realize the hours and hours that go into mindnumbing work that no one is going to see.
I always thought ADWCTA had programming background as he talks as if Heartharena is his project. Never heard there was a programmer until today. Merps and ADWCTA have their names everywhere.
It's slightly more complicated than that. For the longest time, he was donating tons of money to charity, which he posted about on a Twitter account. Cr1tikalCares or something, I'm not sure since he never linked to it (incredibly humble guy). Unfortunately, at some point his partner just decided to stop paying him. That was several months ago that he talked about it, I believe. He hasn't mentioned whether or not that ever started back up.
Around the same time, we was going through some pretty serious troubles with losing his long time girlfriend and getting into some costly legal proceeding over a car accident. Also didn't have a job, which had been the case for awhile I believe. So he set up a Patreon page (which again, he never linked to) that he takes the money for himself. People ended up being really generous and he managed to get back on his feet I believe.
Overall, pretty much the coolest, most down-to-earth YouTuber out there. I don't always love his content, but he's an amazing person. Oh, and he's also really attractive, which came as a bit of a surprise to me since I always imagined him looking more like Dunkey from the way his voice sounds.
Well, practically all people with autism struggle on some basis with something, some more than others, but you don't get an autism diagnosis when you are absolutely fine. When people say: "You probably hardly have any troubles at all", it's just like they dismiss all the struggles and also all the hard work we put into it, to even be able to socialize like others. Many people with autism hate it when people ask them that question. I have started making videos in which I share my experiences as an autistic person, to raise more awareness and also to explain what goes on in an mind of an autistic person. If you like to see them, here is the link: https://www.patreon.com/remrovsautism?ty=h
If you happen to be in the mood after reading all of Straylight to show your support I now need to move into editing the thing, which isn't as fun and takes a long time. Seeing as I am taking time off to do this it would mean a lot if you could support me through Patreon or Paypal. As usual there is no pressure.
EDIT: I forgot to mention there will be no comic next week and possibly the week after as I am going on holiday, sorry for the inconvenience
I am apparently not allowed to apologise for posting late so instead here's a banana http://i.imgur.com/i5xbzKR.png
I haven't tried it yet, but Vessel seems like a good contender? They have some pretty big youtubers under their belt. I know it's a David and Goliath thing and I don't expect youtube to go down in flames or anything. But maybe, maybe, if other platforms get enough attention from the general public, google will start putting in the effort again?
Also Patreon
People need to stop complaining about consumer-driven prices and lighting torches/raising pitchforks against retailers and local game stores. Magic is a successful game, no doubt, but retailers aren't exactly splitting atoms by putting product on shelves. It is a competitive, high stress market, and I see it on the faces of many of the store owners I have encountered. Perhaps if they had the luxury of receiving ~$66,200.00 per year for making Magic youtube videos, retailers could also have the luxury of rallying behind the community over "realistic prices". I truly enjoy much of TCC's content and am happy to see any Magic-related product/service be successful, but the quality of his reviews doesn't make every opinion he has about magic automatically watertight gospel, which often seems to be how it is taken. You won't always be pleased with the price of everything you want to purchase in life, nor should you feel entitled to.
The full art lands are a premium novelty with above average demand, and as a result, prices are higher. The same can be said for premium/unique product for any item ever sold on the face of the planet. End of story.
you can send me money through paypal instead of useless reddit gold, I will try to release more awful comics if I get donations.
edit : I now have a patreon https://www.patreon.com/user?u=2368309
I feel we should all do our best to support AZPM, here is their link to their patreon if anyone wants to sub.

Disclaimer: I am not affilated with AZPM, just a fan who thinks the stream should be supported. Will remove if asked.
The author of this article (James Murff) is supported on Patreon by Literally Who, I'm not saying there's unethical behaviour behind this piece but it's worth pointing out that the Who only supports seven patreons in total, raising the obvious question "what value does Quinn see in this bumpkin?"
The animator & VA (RockSoftCookie) got a Patreon over here and is looking to start doing these full-time, check it out if you want to support him.
Every Frame a Painting is my favorite of all of those.
