Post a link to the actual comic instead of reposting it on to imgur next time. Considering Erika makes comics for a living and depends on the income, it's pretty shitty to repost it on to another website instead of just posting the original.
I'm gonna quote a super-smart dude from MetaFilter on Black Widow:
>You are missing the point of Black Widow. She can kick ass and shoot stuff and all, but her REAL value is she's AN INTELLIGENCE AGENT. She's already read the dossier on the massive eldritch robotic space horror. She's got the blueprints. She's paid off the massive eldritch robotic space horror's college roommate and she's been rifling through his sock drawer. She's got a guy who knows a guy who happens to have the only anti-massive eldritch robotic space horror gun in the galaxy, and she's bribed the Kree ambassador to smuggle it to Earth.
>And all this was like three years ago. THAT'S Black Widow. Her super-power is being PREPARED.

Honestly, I'm a pirate, not a dick.
All jokes aside though, waking up at/before a certain time is a legitimate problem for me. Like, forget puzzle alarms if I'm somehow deaf to the alarm in the first place. I feel like the only way to get me up is to hire someone to literally throw me on the floor and start kicking me in the ribs at 6:30 AM, and even then they might get tired before I'm awake.
My site, as always, is http://owlturd.com/.
I dunno if this is something that y'all would be interested in, but I also recently relaunched my Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/owlturd
Anyway, have a great week! :]
Thanks for reading! Hey, speaking of getting super hella rich, check out my Patreon, where I'm presently trying to afford the $0.75 instant ramen instead of the $0.35 one:

Have a great weekend everyone! :D
This.
And I recommend anyone who likes to write to at least check his Six Rules. Specially when writing about heated up stuff like politics, religion and the likes.
Hey folks! Thank you, as always, for reading. :D My site is http://owlturd.com/ and -- oh, cmon, did you think I'd forget to link to my Patreon. No such luck, friend. I will never not link to that gosh dang patreon-ass Patreon.
I'm a very nostalgic type, personally, and some of my fondest memories are associated with PC games like SiN, Heretic, AoE & AoM, and Gameboy games -- specifically Pokemon Silver & LoZ Oracle of Seasons, in my case. But while those games are all charming in their own right, when I go back to them, they just don't have those little "quality of life" improvements that we've all come to take for granted -- "fast-travel", deliberate & clear storytelling, easy UI, auto-saving & loading. They just sorta throw you in, with very little context.
Maybe that is the charm? I dunno, what do you all think?
But Einstein didn't come up with fission or the concept of nuclear bombs. The first was by Lise Meitner and Otto Frisch, and the idea of a bomb came from Leo Szilard.
I mean, I get it, he was a genius and all, but I doubt he would have liked being given the credit for other peoples work.
Hey peeps~ I'm not on drugs, honest. I've always just thought hands are kinda weird, especially if you look at them for a while -- EXCEPTIONALLY weird compared to our other limbs.
Anyway, I use these flesh trees to draw a whole buncha comics, so give me a visit sometime.
It wasn't meant to be taken literally. It was a fertility symbol.
Edit: this blew up a bit. I love ancient cultures, especially goddess studies. I'm not an expert, but I did read this book - The Myth of the Goddess: Evolution of an Image https://www.amazon.com/dp/0140192921/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_U-dxDbTGMJ85E
Highly recommend if you want to learn more!
Webtoons didn’t renew his contract. Because the process is so work-intensive for these comics, I get the sense it no longer makes sense financially to work on these comics.
If you want to support him though, he put his favorite comics into a book that you can buy (I did; it’s great).
Brussels sprouts contain a chemical propylthiouracil which some people are able to taste (and it tastes very bitter) while others can't taste at all. So if you're one of the many unlucky ones who just do NOT like Brussels sprouts because they smell and taste disgusting to you (and not because you don't like the texture/color/anything other than smell or taste) then you have solid science backing you up when you politely turn them down.
The popular understanding has shifted from "right creative, left analytical" to "no hemispheric difference whatsoever" but neither one of these is fully accurate. We're like a pendulum swinging side to side, continually passing over the middle.
There is a difference between the two hemispheres. But it is not as pronounced as we once thought it was. The left hemisphere specializes in precision, in the syntax of language, its neurons have smaller receptive fields that help you hone in on the best words and the most likely interpretation of those words. The right hemisphere specializes in diffuse thought, the overall understanding of the meaning of a sentence, its neurons have larger receptive fields that help you consider less likely outcomes. Both hemispheres work in concert in your thoughts and speech.
The strongest evidence in favor of hemispheric difference is this: in "eureka" moments of insight problem solving, brain activity shows a tide of alpha waves in the visual cortex followed by a crashing tsunami in the RIGHT insular cortex. Here is a review of insight problem solving, it is a 39-page article that says the word "right" 300 times and "left" only 61 times.
Eww, you forgot to brush your teeth with quip and wipe your butt with the DollarShaveClub buttwipes.
Also, make sure to protect your internet browsing with ExpressVPN and also buy some BirchGold just in case the economy crashes. But don't worry, even if it does, you can use your MovementWatch to find out exactly when it crashed.
Well first you most likely want a VPN (Private Internet Access and NordVPN seem pretty good)
Then you want a good antivirus (Windows Defender + Malwarebytes is normally fine)
Then, you need a torrent client (qBittorrent is what I use, and I can't complain)
After that, turn on your VPN and load up your favorite tracker then have at it! (I use Pirate Bay and 13377x, along with FitGirl game repacks)
Make sure you check every file when downloaded with your antivirus programs and viola, you're sailing the high seas.
Hey peeps! Happy Halloween! :] If you like this, or hate it so much that you've developed this morbid curiosity about what else I make, visit http://owlturd.com/ and consider supporting my Patreon (https://www.patreon.com/owlturd), where you can find out gain access to my secret personal which has somehow become largely about anime I guess???
I feel like people are misinterpreting this comic a bit (and to be fair, I wasn't very clear). I'm not saying that "times have changed" or that the culture surrounding Halloween has changed much in general -- it's more that Halloween for adults is very different from Halloween for kids.
For kids, its socially acceptable to dress up as something just totally made up, whereas adult costumes have to be recognizable, and have to make sense. It's more of a deliberate social ritual, and less of a "I'm just gonna dress up as something scary" type of affair. Hell, when I was a kid, not even adult costumes made sense to me, because I didn't "get it," so I just thought "yay, everything is scary and cool and nothing has to make sense today, so I'm just going to have a sword and a cape because that's my soul-scary-dude." And that's something that I guess I'll never have back.
Did you know that The Great Gatsby was written in 1925 by F. Scott Fitzgerald? It's considered one of the best American novels ever written and is on Time's greatest 100 novels list.
It's still boring though.
Attributed to Margaret Mead, but apparently it's the subject of some dispute.
He was using the plannedchaos account to pose as a third party, to argue with people about e.g. what Scott Adams thinks, how smart Scott Adams is, etc. His first comment in the thread was here:
http://www.metafilter.com/102472/How-to-Get-a-Real-Education-by-Scott-Adams#3637648
Which wouldn't have been a problem formally speaking if it was Scott signing up to say "hi, I'm Scott Adams and I'm gonna tell you what I think and how smart I am". It's the deliberate misrepresentation makes it a problem on mefi.
Yes and the same was done with weaponry as it advanced. Automatics became banned, ammunition has gone through many regulations, and citizens could not own functioning or current “military” equipment. The gatling rifle is a prime example. The book on the invention and impact it had is pretty good.
https://www.amazon.com/Mr-Gatlings-Terrible-Marvel-Misunderstood/dp/0143115642/
When it was produced it was made privately and sold privately to individual, and debates at the time focused on whether or not it was protected by the second amendment. Eventually laws against the ‘rate of fire’ guns that exceeded a certain rate were put into place and still hold today. Automatic guns cannot be owned by everyday citizens and modifications are illegal. But saying that we shouldnt make it or create it because it didnt exist back then doesnt make sense.
Just because a weapon is more efficient or new does not mean that it should not exist or be sold as the comic implies. We already have massive amounts of regulations and subsequent laws to account for increases in technology while still protecting the fundamental rights of individuals. Another example is tank ownership, people can buy tanks but only if they are before a certain time period and only after the military/government decommissioned them to remove the weaponry because of laws to fit the changing tech.
The “it didn’t exist back then” argument would mean that most things today would not receive protections under the bill of rights.
Reminds me of this comic which has been floating around the Internets for some time now:
http://www.shoeboxblog.com/?p=15314
And apparently there are other variations on the joke:
all of his work is visual novels which I believe is relatively easy to do programming wise (think you can make them directly in flash or other third party programs with no programming knowledge)
He gets 12k a month from patreon alone https://www.patreon.com/akabur?ty=h
His "game" princess trainer is absolutely amazing, worth checking out imo for ideas
>First the male jellyfish produce the sperm that are released out of the mouth of the male jellyfish. The sperm swim into the mouth of the female jellyfish and fertilise the eggs.
Either way, it's really just snowballing.
Trolls: Anyone I dislike
Your definition of the word pretty much boils down to that. And there's already a plethora of words for that (see http://www.thesaurus.com/browse/asshole?s=t for details)
If you want to call someone an asshole, call them an asshole. A troll is something else. I don't care why you think they're doing what they're doing, or even why they're actually doing what they're doing. Specifically what they are doing is what makes them a troll. By calling assholes trolls you're diluting the meaning of the word troll, and I find it to be a very useful word, so could you please fucking stop.
FYI, Google has a DMC take down request page for copyright owners, if your content was stolen, this is the form to use. It not only can remove content from google, but the site can lose a source of revenue: adsense.
There is also another page if you are not the owner but still wish to report the abuse
I'm half prone to not post this as reddit can often be ruled by it's own mob, however, it is pretty clear that funnyjunk is also stealing from reddit.
I learned to control this with a sort of meditative exercise where I visualize thinking. I start by imagining a pitch black infinitely large space, with a black object shaped like the graph here in the middle. I visualize each word that I think as a short blue stripe that moves toward the object and goes up along its surface, disappearing out of view. I think exclusively in words so this works for me.
I then concentrate on reducing the amount of stripes that appear until the scene is pitch black again (and I'm no longer thinking of anything.) It took some practice, but now I can always fall asleep within five minutes of getting into bed.
>Lots of haters here. I hate Adams for his success too. But some factual clarifications are in order
I was on the fence, but this is incredibly dickish.
I mean, it's happened to me. I used to be economically left. Then I read (EDIT) Capitalism and Freedom by Milton Friedman. Now I would describe myself as right-leaning centric. Every since then, I try to keep a really open mind about things and often argue sides that I don't support just to see if I could. And if I can't, then that side is either patently ludicrous (which is rare), or I don't know enough information about it (more common).
That's funny, considering the_donald was running reddit for several months up until the election. Anything anti-trump was downvoted.
It's almost as if reddit is the 7th largest website in the U.S (source) which means the user base is made up of people from all walks of life, and political ideologies. It's almost as if... you instead probably get downvoted for making shitty critiques. I've seen valid critiques, well-thought out and written critiques of both parties get highly upvoted.
Reddit is simply too large to be dominated or ovetaken by a single party for any extended length of time.
also, if you like this please help me find a name for the comic series this could become. It's driving me mad.
EDIT: ok, took a deep breath and went for it, my newborn comic is here
In case you have NO idea what this is about: it's been confirmed Mario punches Yoshi in Super Mario Bros. 3.
Also, he makes him fall to his death to save his own hide. It's time Yoshi steps up. He shouldn't have to keep up with abuse like this!
MetaFilter and reddit* are two very different cultures, both of which I really appreciate having available to me.
The MetaFilter signup page is more of a manifesto of what's expected of you if you want to have an account. It very clearly says that you'll get booted if you break the guidelines. The guidelines clearly state "Self-promotion isn't what this site is about." and anyone who has spent any amount of time reading the site is aware that gratuitous self-promotion is the easiest way to get banned.
Note that those are guidelines, not rules, and real human beings like joshmillard choose exactly when and how to enforce them. You can get banned for things that aren't explicitly listed there and you can break the guidelines but still remain on the site. The moderators do a good enough job of deciding how to maintain the community culture that people keep using the site.

http://genius.com/5577/Skee-lo-i-wish/I-wish-i-had-a-rabbit-in-a-hat-with-a-bat
>"Bat" is a reference to Bacardi, as in the Bacardi bat. Rabbit in a hat, a magic trick, refers to a prostitute or whore, someone who turns tricks, basically he wants a “ho” and some booze.
Which is why Gob is so adamant about referring to them as illusions.
Australian Susie Maroney swam a record 197 km (122 miles) from Mexico to Cuba, covering the longest distance ever swum without flippers in open sea. She completed the marathon swim in 38 hours and 33 minutes, arriving in Cuba on June 1, 1998. (Guiness World Records / Wikipedia)
but if you just want longest swim: Slovenian Martin Strel made the world's longest swim. In 2001 Martin Strel swam 504 KM or 312 miles down the Danube river. He covered the distance in 84 hours 10 minutes of nonstop swimming. In 2002 Martin Strel swam the Mississippi river, a total of 3,885 KM or 2,360 miles. He covered the distance in 68 days

Fearless Future is an anthology of short scifi comic stories put together by Chris Robinson, a certifiable cool dude, comics editor, and tastemaker. I am easily the LEAST of the talent in this book, so I highly recommend checking it out. There's a lot of established artists and some really great new and independent folks involved too!
Here's the original Kickstarter page: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1084996367/fearless-future-vol-1-and-2-sci-fi-micro-tales
And here's the book itself, available on Gumroad as a PDF for $5: https://gumroad.com/l/ojFE
Unfortunately, this has been proven to be untrue.
However, it is still effective cough relief for children.
Being an old-school DOS game player, I learned about rusalki from Quest for Glory.
But yes, Oglaf sure has a talent for realistic sexification, doesn't she? ~~(It is 'he', right?)~~
Edit: Woops. She. Thanks for clearing that up. I did try to Google it for a bit, but couldn't find the answer. >_<
Sorta, Kiwi in Canada :)
The impression I get is that they're thinking about it. This article has more info - looks like the idea is that cable subscribers get the shows the day after they're on cable, while everybody else gets them 30 days later - so I suppose that's much better than not getting the shows at all...
If you're talking about miniature golf, sure. What about architecture? Just getting the degree you need takes eight years, plus almost 10 more to get your certification. What about music? My sister started that when she was six; she's 22 now and just getting up to the professional level.
If you want to try something, sure, you can pull that off in seven years. If you want to master something, that takes a lifetime. A real lifetime, not 1/11th of one.
No it wasn't. I think it was even simulcast, but the original production was in Japan. The English staff are only what you'd expect from any other dub.
Hey everybody, thanks for looking! If you enjoyed this comic and want to see other stories involving tree costumes and latex gloves you can check out my website. People who develop libraries and API:s are pretty "good" at this. They can't decide if what they're writing is an example, a demo or a test. So it ends up being everything, which pretty much is an indecipherable mess for anyone actually looking for a simple example.
Windows programmers are the worst offenders though. Whenever they give an example for something they're hell-bent on writing a complete small demo application with a GUI. The "example" ends up being like 250-500 lines of code, of which perhaps 10-50 are even interesting for the API they're trying to explain.
Here's an example of this phenomena. According to google this is the most useful example for streaming audio in C++ using DirectX. Look at the size of that thing! Project files, multiple source files, resource files and all packed into 2 zip files. Just, wow.
My own personal rules for writing programming examples goes something like this. The example should a) do the bare minimum to achieve what it's trying to show while it b) still compiles to a complete, executable program that c) can be contained within one source file. Bonus points if it's available both on a webpage and as a downloadable source file.
thanks very much, markishly. Have you had a look at my graphic novel CLYDE?
I really don't get all the dubstep hate on Reddit. It's just another genre of music that some people like.
Anybody who's not too familiar with dubstep, please listen to Basshead by Bassnectar. One of their best songs, in my opinion.
If you like this song, chances are you'll like their other music. Also check out STS9 -- not really Dubstep, but somewhat similar (more trip-hop), and definitely falls under similar music tastes.
EDIT: For a sample STS9 track, The Shock Doctrine. If you're going to listen, please hold out until at least 2:15. That's probably my favourite part of the song.

When they did that, I went and found I Can't Wake Up! Alarm Clock, which pretty much has everything that I liked about the old Alarm Clock Xtreme, including the option to disable snooze. It infuriates me that they removed that.
For root users there's CF.lumen.
It has built in sunrise/sunset automation and changes the color temperature more accurately than you can with only a semi-transparent overlay.
>They totally did not. They had a culture based around using everything they could get their hands on and then moving on when they'd depleted the resources available. Same as the white man. The difference was that they weren't nearly as GOOD at depleting resources and there were far fewer of them so the resources replenished as soon as they moved on.
>The idea that they had "communal property ownership" is also BS. They just didn't own their own LAND because of the whole "use and move on" thing they tended to do. They owned property.
There's no evidence for that. Native Americans likely tended the land like a form of giant garden, selecting and tending to the plants they enjoyed the most in a sustainable way, as explained in the book "Tending the Wild":
Announced (hinted at?) last night on her twitter with spiders. Awesome spiders.
Edit: Link to her pre-order page on Amazon from the main website. Kind of weird that the big picture doesn't take you there.
OMG I miss that stuff (stationed in Japan 1997-2000)...haven't thought about it since then..and they sell it on Amazon?! Bought some. Thank you!
Thinking about it now, and thinking back...I have fond memories of the Georgia coffee cans that come out hot from the vending machines...
Awww, bummer. They DO sell it on Amazon, but it's not affordable whatseover. $90 for 30 cans. Yeesh.
There's a kid at my school who had to make this trek in 15 minutes. There are campus and local buses, but even if you click the "bus" button, note that it takes a minimum of 15 minutes. Even on bicycles that trip is impossible, what with vehicular, construction, pedestrian and bicycle traffic.
I didn't hear whether she rescheduled.

> Why shouldn't Coke release that formula?
Even if the secret Coke recipe weren't just a marketing gimmick there's a clear difference here. If Disney wants to keep their specs for drawing Mickey a secret, that's fine. But other people can figure out how to imitate the flavor of Coke, just as other people can make a copy of Steamboat Willie. Disney doesn't have to cooperate with this process, but they shouldn't have any legal grounds to stop it from happening, either.

TL;DR: Money is a joke. Rich people suck. All of you are rich because you bought my product and therefore I don't feel bad about defrauding you of what is a joke anyway. I deserve to have my thought process subsidized. Would some rich people please do so? FYI, buying me ramen would be a protest against negative values in society so you can feel good about doing so. In addition, since books are not ramen, and therefore unnecessary, I will burn them if you attempt to contact me requesting objects you paid for.

Hans Rosling is consistently one of the most interesting speakers I've yet seen on the internet. His piece 'New Insights on Poverty' is really cool.
Yeah, going through the archive, every strip is a crudely drawn Perry Bible Fellowship pastiche.
But I'm not saying that's a bad thing. Every webcomic artist starts out with less-than-awesome artwork and gets better as they go on. And obviously, different kinds of pastiches are PBF's thing, so it would be a bit hypocritical to blame the OP for doing likewise.
(Truck Bearing Kibble never strayed far from the PBF format, but it was still pretty good.)
Some facts here:
As a general statistic, the Alan Guttmacher Institute in New York estimates that up to 49 percent of the pregnancies in the U.S. are unplanned.
So if you're from the US, there's a decent chance you were unplanned :)
If you're using Chrome (be sure to restart the browser)
And if you're using anything else you don't deserve assistance.
I am a cryptographer (well, currently working as a security engineer) who quite loves math, but almost had this love squashed out of me in my junior year by an algebra teacher who subscribed to the "do 50 problems per night" school of teaching. I hated wasting my time on unimportant repetition, so I would just choose a problem that was representative of each of the classes of problems we were assigned that night and do that one problem and hand it in.
She reused to give me anything higher than an F on those assignments, even after I explained to her what I was doing, and in spite of the fact that I was receiving nothing but A+s on my exams. I wound up with four straight Cs on my report card that year (my parents were annoyed, but supportive of my stubbornness), and the school had concerns about letting me sign up for their AP Calculus/Physics block.
So fuck you Mrs. Whatever-the-hell-your-name-was (I'm too lazy to track down a yearbook) for trying to crush the love of math out of a developing child. Despite your best efforts, you failed.
Possible scenarios:
It's annoying changing the time, I don't like it.

Read! That's key. You should always be reading a variety of stuff. I also really enjoyed Stephen King's On Writing. Some good tips in there, but also just a great story of his life and process.
If I were you I would focus on school and THEN work on acquiring money for comic projects. Take it from me, the guy who won MOST PROMISING NEW TALENT at the age of THIRTY-EIGHT. You have time.
Older programming languages won't fall prey to this because there has been 20-30 years of weening out all of the shitty titles, and older languages don't tend to change all that much. These days, if you want to learn about C, out of the hundreds (perhaps thousands?) of "learn to program in C" books out there, everyone knows to just get The C Programming Language.
This is also why arithmetic books are well generally well written with a slow progression of difficulty...basic arithmetic hasn't changed much, and you don't really have to worry about your method for long division being deprecated by the time your book hits store shelves.
Don't go to Pirate Bay for general stuff for those out there. Only go there for Movies, TV Shows, and that's it. I would stay away from maybe some MKV files though because they could have viruses.
I recommend 1337x (Stay away from IGGGAMES, CracksHash, haxNode even though they are mostly safe, they are still sucpicious outside of 1337x, its a well moderated site and mods are quick to catch malware and nasty stuff), RARBG (Best quality and everything is safe, closed registrations), NXMAC (For mac users), RuTracker (One of my top picks for Torrent sites because of well seeded torrents and quality), RuTor (Many repackers are there and everything is safe), and some more, but I would recommend the things above.
Soap2Day, and Anime Kisa is good, they have really good quality, though maybe you should use Nyaa.si as well since everything there is really good quality.
Bro, you know where I was in the wee hours of the night last night? right here sfw
Here is a article that may help. Look for the title "Is There Any Hope for the Future?". In resume, Brazil is the only country that adopted the standard of the International Electrotechnical Commission . So, Brazil is the only country that has a internacional standard :P
Use a VPN! There's ProtonVPN, NordVPN, and Private Internet Access. These are the most popular ones right now. I'd recommend ProtonVPN. Check out the Piracy Megathread on r/piracy for all the resources you'll ever need.
That is a great character, he just needs the perfect partner
Not a kid, but I do Sonarr and Radarr for searching for downloads, with Sabnzbd as a download client, newshosting.com as a provider and nzbgeek.info as an indexer. IIRC. Sonarr and Radarr have support for torrents as well as far as I know, which should be cheaper. It can be a bitch to setup, but well worth it.
I would never take my computer, google for a name and episode number and stream it through a website. And I'm not interested in more than max 2 apps for showing stuff on my tv, and that's a bit much as well.
I get that it works, but I want to sit down in my couch, start Plex and just play the next episode I have automatically downloaded for a show that I'm following.
Thanks!
I'm planning to update on Fridays for now at my [comic blog thing](www.ramen-empire.com) and to mirror on both tapas and webtoon (which I just discovered).
I'm making an experimental series on tapas. "Experimental" as in "I have no idea what will be good and am very inconsistent with colors and shading."
This is one of the funnier ones.
Love it! The timelapse was really great. Can I ask what brush you were using for the sky (looked like the brush you were using for a lot of things)? I've been looking for something with that kind of texture to it that you can build up and whatnot.
EDIT: I looked in one of your other comments where you link to the brush set by Cale Atkinson. Thank you for sharing!
Sorry, I just don't want to be with someone who uses food as a drug, and I want to be with someone who can go running with me, and go for long hikes. It's a matter of interest and getting along with my partner. As for aging and bodies looking the same, lulz.
You are bad at trolling and being condescending though. Try harder. Maybe call me sweetcheeks, hun, babe or something. But good one on telling me I'll be fat in the future, more motivation to continue being awesome. <3
According to Alexa (take it for what it is of course), FunnyJunk has seen their traffic from search engines dip by nearly 2/3rd down from a peak at the end of last year and only about 1/2 what its half search traffic has been for nearly the last 20 months previous.
I wonder if this change has anything to do with these moves.
EDIT: Based on the current Google results I think this is the big issue. Perhaps it happened around the same time the search traffic came down.
Possible scenario:
Based on the fact that their overall traffic appears to be consistently growing with no dips as a result of the drop in search users I think this is more a butthurt thing than any actual damage to the site.

Is there a real link to buy this shirt or are people just ripping you off left and right?
Studies have shown (don't remember which studies, just that they exist. I read about it in "The Power of Habit" I think) that a compulsive gambler gets just about the same reward, neurochemically speaking, from being close to winning as they do from actually winning. A normal person will lose and be less likely to want to play again. A compulsive gambler though, will almost win and get a hit of dopamine or whatever and want to continue playing to get that same hit.
I don't think he was a womanizer at all. In Surely You're Joking, Mr. Feynman, the chapter about buying women drinks is where he's taught a lesson from his friend. His friend tells him that if you want a woman to sleep with you, you must disrespect them. So Feynman asks girls, "Will you sleep with me?" right off the bat. And it usually works.
But at the end of the chapter he explicitly says something similar to, "So disrespecting women and not buying them drinks does work, as my experiment proved, but I could never do it again after that. It just didn't feel like the right way to go about getting girls."
Snopes agrees that this is the most popular theory: http://www.snopes.com/language/notthink/strawberry.asp
> There are two theories as to the true origin of the word, both deriving from its first syllable. One explanation hinges on a particular meaning of "straw" — a particle of straw, chaff, or mote — describing the appearance of the achenes (tiny yellow seeds) scattered over the surface of the berry. Another view says it comes from "stray" or "strew," designating the spread of the plant's runners (slender tendrils), in that in an unchecked field of strawberries the plants appear to have been strewn across the ground with their runners straying everywhere. This second explanation is the more popular.
Nope. Too much sitting is quite bad for you.
Fluorescent lights have been indicated for a wide variety of maladies.
There are other problems, but they are dependent upon what is in your office...cubicles, windows, etc. The first two are basically in every office though, which is why I focused more on those.
Have you heard his G.O.O.D. Friday song Christian Dior Denim Flow? It's one of my favorite depressing rich life Kanye songs.
The knocking has been going on for eight years, and I finally snapped today. I don't care if my drawing style sucks, I don't care if stuff doesn't look like I want it to. I'm drawing these characters and getting them out of my head RIGHT NOW.
From now on they'll be hanging around r/AxarV as well as tapas.io, if you feel concern for what happens to these guys and want to check up on them. They might even answer your questions from time to time!
Absolutely!
Gail Simone's run on Red Sonja is also something I'd recommend. Can't get rid of Red Sonja's armour (or lack of it), but there's a great story of friendship, independent non-hypersexualized women and adventure in the book. And it's not like even Sonja is prancing around in a chainmail bikini in suggestive poses all the time.
First issue can be read for free at Newsarama. It's not really for you seven years old kid though, as there's a good bit of graphical violence in every issue.
Out of all the terrible things to wake up too on an airplane, this is definitely in the top 3.
This week's 3WH caption is by, foxide.
Check out more comics.
Only diet soda (avoid it entirely if you can), log your calories (I use MyFitnessPal), and STAY ACTIVE! I work out at least 3 times a week when things are busy, 4-5 times when I can. Doesn't even need to be a lot, just do something to make you sweat for half an hour. For me, it was just something that clicked in my brain, and it became less about "eat what you want" and more about "eat what you need"
I wish I could say I was completely unfamiliar with this behavior... Unrelated: Here's Ponderabilia!, my free and continuously updated adventure game!
I had to find a sfw version because I didn't buy it for its sexual value, but rather because Enju's character resonated with me and I felt like hugging her while I went to sleep because we both need it
