Everyone calm down. There is more than one project M. It's probably 99.9% This one
EDIT: there's also the fact that while a game is being developed and on steam, devs can name the thing whatever they want

okay fine jeez.
You guys should totally ignore this, but if you don't, then you guys are awesome. We'll be doing what we do no mater how this goes.
In his defense, if we let people post what they want to post, subreddits can go downhill. /u/voidfunction had a good post on this a few days ago on r/smashbros.
Edit: here's the post.

I've made a personal fix for Justin Bailey's eyes. It's not the official one to be included in the patch or anything, but it does the job. I've also made a rim lighting version, in case somebody wants it. I'm not posting it in the vault or anything, I've just posted it in my Facebook and I'm posting here too. Just get it if you want your costume to look fine before we patch. https://www.mediafire.com/folder/aw866tbrf918w/Fixed_Justin_Bailey

here's the BRSTM's I've made for the stage for my upcoming 3.6 PM build, all are sunshine themed and looped already :P
Any move can cancel in to any move/air dodge, makes for some silly games.
If you want to play then get the normal 3.6 netplay builder then replace RSBE01.gct with the one below:
http://www.filedropper.com/rsbe01
http://www.megafileupload.com/5725/RSBE01.gct
Uploading as we speak.
EDIT: Here you go!
EDIT2: Just so you know, this includes info.pac, info_training.pac, and mu_menumain.pac, so you can see song names in all the right places.
I'm no streamer myself, so what i have to say is probably misinformed, but:
1) Isn't there a service that does just that? It's called restream.io. I know i've seen u/arjunebug use it at least once.
2) As you alluded to, chat is an issue. From what little i researched, what i think that would be a game changer would be if you could chat from any channel with all others at the same time. In my head it seems simple enough; have chat bots echo messages from one channel to another. Obviously they shouldn't echo other bots, but that's pretty much it. There is such a thing as restream.io/chat, but that only delivers one user's messages to all channels, plus it's opt-in (you need the program).
I completely agree with you on Bowser's Flame Breath. I think it's completely lame as a move. Moves like this, although not completely useless, are pretty dumb (Zard flame, Sheik chain). It's just a neutral resetter where both parties just have to sit there until the move is over, or is a gimmicky/non-satisfying edge guarder (Which is AFTER you already got them offstage. Bowser's problem is getting them offstage). An actual projectile would be more than welcome.
I also think down B should be tweaked a lot, too. It needs to be reworked so it's faster and not as absurdly punishable as it is, or given some kind of effect (similar to all of the other ground pounding moves) that keeps it a little safer. I suggest this or this to pulse out of him to keep him safe. Maybe it could also just work as a regular, slow-moving projectile that moves across the whole stage, and the downside is that it's attached to the absurdly slow down B.
I think people really overrate the KK spike. Lucario has an amazing air grab spike that can be comboed into, and it's kinda rare to see it in tournament play. Don't get me wrong, it's cool as hell, but it's not the game-changer that people are claiming it to be, imo.
I still think he needs way more time to figure out, but my initial impressions are that he's better, but not that much better. It's hard to complain though because we've seen so many cool/good changes, but it's hard to not want more.
Not that I really care, because I don't do tournaments or anything lol. I just play him because he's frickin Bowser.
My comment was just meant as a joke, for yesterday, Ripple gave the reason "Because bad characters are fun" in the [Why did you pick your main] thread - also (mostly) as a joke. The point you brought up was good, but this wasn't the time to use it. I'll make sure I provide some context next time I comment with something that could be taken the wrong way. ^^'
Accidentally double-posted this. Just deleted the copy.
There's a fair few texture swaps on brawl vault. I personally use PM Stadium (pictures) myself, I wish they would put it in the official build. But there's a few others if you want something with a lighter colour palette.
tbh there are plenty of better options

etc
"raped" is a cringey, exclusive, and potentially triggering descriptor that has been around in gaming communities (which, relatedly, have been extremely exclusive of non-cismen) for wayyy too long and is finally starting to die out i think
I recently built an iso using brawlbuilder and I usb-load it via usbloadergx. Works well so far, as long as you have your usb loader set up right
Edit: made this comment shortly after, in reference to fitting such an iso on a Fat32 usb stick. Should work for an sd card, I think usbloadergx has an option to get it's input from an sd.
Just did this today: pm 3.6 without subspace emissary is less than the fat32 limit. Build the iso from brawl with brawlbuilder, check whatever the "remove subspace emissary" option is, then convert it into a wbfs (or whatever the Wii file format is) file. The result should be less than 4gb
EDIT: followed this tutorial
https://gbatemp.net/threads/how-to-properly-build-an-iso-of-project-m-inc-wi-fi-instructions.441293/
then converted to wbfs with wii backup manager
http://www.wiibackupmanager.co.uk/
put the result on your flash drive in directory like so:
\wbfs\game name [GAMECODE]\GAMECODE.wbfs
where GAMECODE is specified in that tutorial i linked, depends on if you're using the wifi or full codeset.
(SECOND EDIT: wii backup manager creates the folder "game name [GAMECODE]" containing "GAMECODE.wbfs" from your iso named "game name [GAMECODE].iso" All you have to do is create \wbfs on your flash drive and transfer that folder, making sure the rest of the drive is empty.)
Plug that in to the right usb port (closer to the edge of the wii - the one towards the center is just power no data) and you should have functioning project m from any usb loader (I use usb loader gx, like most do).
Make sure you unmount it with imdisk before deleting it.
If you really want to avoid the SD card maker, you can do it relatively easily in Linux from WSL, but it's an OS so it takes a while to install.
Here ya go :)
Yeah, haven't had a chance to get an SD card up until today and when I went to download PM the website is down. It seems to have been down since today: http://www.isitdownrightnow.com/projectmgame.com.html
If Ganon Side taunts on a moving platform, this happens: https://gyazo.com/7955237f85116ed14e5a90405ec01d10
Also, Fox's visor on his right eye magically disappears after he says "this is Fox, returning to base" in his victory animation.
I have a template that's almost indistinguishable.
Different map names have slightly adjusted kerning and whatnot, I assume that the PMDT guys just make it look as good as possible rather than stick to an exact template every time, so you might have to adjust it a bit to get certain names to be perfect.
Edit: It's the perfect size too, so when you're done with the text just save it with whatever format you want and it's done.
http://www.mediafire.com/download/08t0mxxb2o252i4/captain.rar Here you go. There's a custom skin over the red outfit, but it's only a few aesthetic changes to make him look more like Blood Falcon so it should be fine for a tournament. Plus you can just delete it anyways.
EDIT: Just saw that you deleted the .rel file too, https://www.mediafire.com/?1vasafax9o0j5mj You can get that here.
https://www.mediafire.com/?9mr5wmxaxx69aby For the Marth skin
Most skins for Smashing Grounds, this one included, are made by Baka, one of our regulars. You can find all of them here, though we don't use all of them on stream.

here's the custom oksas build, finally. as FingerStripes mentioned, it's a combination of his Salty Pueblo build and a few additional stages and music that I chose. as such:
link to Fingerstripes' custom Salty Pueblo build that I used as a base
link to zip containing my additions/replacements
also, yeah Psycho_Ghost, as Fingerstripes noted, I think the black color glitch on the BF sun dial was there before, I honestly would have no idea how to fix it haha. also also, the BF that you found on Brawlvault is this stage, but that one isn't updated for 3.5 while the one in my pack is.
Weird almost all the discussion in this thread is about changing him instead of talking about ways to play him currently or play against him.
I was asked on /r/smashbros for my best "chunk" Ganon advice so I guess I'll give it here to in case someone is trying out Ganon now (mains should already know this).
> The main tricks with him are the same as Falcon. Those being you can use Side B from the stage to easily ledgehog and you can use Down B for getting your double jump back during a recovery.
Since I found out that the addon system's support for codes basically just amounts to GCT replacement anyways. I'm releasing these GCTs(normal & wifi versions) they are 3.5 with infinite jumps/up B and some other stuff all toggleable with wiimote/nunchuk button combinations https://www.mediafire.com/?4kd6cwo6ylynnfy
Well you have to put that 'something' into appropriate places to seal the deal, you know? Here's an example I just made of an idea of where to put the enunciation to make it sound interesting, at least to me. I don't have the voice or the mic for voicing though but this is about the enunciation. (Accidentally had the reverb cut off too so sry for that). EDIT: Posted wrong one, here: https://clyp.it/cpknn2oy
There is an unofficial mod of Project M with automatic L cancelling. I wouldn't recommend practicing with it but it should help you understand what the game feels like with L cancelling.
https://www.mediafire.com/folder/59v5oqo62j2sn/Auto_L-Cancel
S@X uses this, but I believe they're changing their stage list soon. Here's the APEX 2014 common5.pac with the logos changed.
I'm not sure about the other stuff, but I'm pretty sure this custom .bat file I edited will do the same thing.
(If not more?)
I'm uploading it to another site right now, I have no idea if it's any good but maybe it'll work. If the site is bad I'll try another one.
Alright, try this one: http://www.filedropper.com/projectm35netplaybuild
I don't have any experience with BrawlBuilder, but you might want to try creating a wrapper for it with Wineskin Winery, where you can install some Windows libraries that might be missing from your standard Wine install.
Although if you're looking to just get a Brawl ISO, then I'd just try looking for one online. We're not allowed to link you to one here, so just google it (get the one from the youtube video that pops up as the first result under "super smash bros brawl iso"), and know that it's much more likely for you to find a legitimate Brawl ISO than an illegitimate one.
Ok I know what happened. Open your sd.raw file with Winimage, and delete its contents. Now you have to do Image>Inject Folder. In the window that pops up, just select the folder that contains all of your (homebrew version) PM files, and then click Open. Your sd.raw file should now look like this, minus the config.dat file (it's what your Gecko config is saved in).
I've tested a lot of recording software over the years, but OBS is by far the best:
https://obsproject.com/
It's a free streaming software but also has a local recording option.
As for the editing, I use Sony Vegas.
If you want to save your replays on Dolphin and are using the SD card method then it's as easy as saving to the SD card then opening it and extracting the replay.
For the ISO method you can also get yourself a blank virtual SD card (or one with something on it, they both work) and either leave it on under settings or enable to save then disable it again (possible Netplay applications here but the replay is almost guaranteed to desync unless both players know what's up). To use the SD card just place it in C:\Users\"name"\Documents\Dolphin Emulator\Wii and make sure it's called "sd".
You can extract from the virtual SD cards using WinImage or other such programs.
The builder is a .bat file so that is a pain for non-windows users, so a few weeks or so ago I made a python iso builder for the ProjectM netplay IRC. It makes an iso with the settings used in the netplay guide by default. If you like you can download it here (PMBuilderPyLin.zip): https://www.mediafire.com/folder/95zon1r3113a7//ProjectM%20ISO%20Builder
The readme will tell you this but to run it: Extract contents of the zip into a directory and put your brawl.iso + homebrew.zip in that same directory. Run, wait, and it'll produce an ISO. More details in the readme.
Download here: http://www.filedropper.com/fittoonlink_1
It's the FitToonLink.pac file from the 3.02 release with the milk texture replaced with something that looks like his soup. The UV map is kind of weird, so it's the best I could do given my knowledge of these things.
Tested in-game. No crashes and it looks like his soup.
https://mega.nz/#!b8hRVKhD!0kqd0ggasQGy543fSymSVEfN-wEcIW44Yyz3ZcmCjW4
Side note I actually compiled a track list for this as well. Unfortunately I'm going to have to move some of those songs around when 3.6 drops, so I'm haven't changed the in-game track names. I had it for 3.02, but stuff changed.
Other thing to note is that I looped a good chunk of those songs my self, the only song on there I can't find a source for is the Metal Mario song from 64 that I put on metal cavern. I think I got it off brawl vault wayyyyyy back in the day. But yeah, this is a pack I've slowly built over a few years since like 2.5 or something, so like 3 years now?
Anyway, glad you like it man, sorry it took so long.
My guess is that the laser that reads the discs is dying/dead and you would need to replace it. The laser itself is about $10 on Amazon and if you feel confident there are a million guides on YouTube on how to do so. You would need to order a new laser and make sure you have the correct screwdrivers (I think you need a tri-wing and a Phillips for a Wii).
I actually picked up a wii that wouldn't read certain discs because I knew I could fix it. After 20 minutes of work I had replaced the laser and the Wii worked great.
Sometimes the laser gets dirty and you might just need to clean it (I picked my Wii off of a smoker). Other times it is just too weak to read certain Wii discs; some like Brawl are dual-layer and need a strong laser to read them. You might be able to test if you laser is just weak if it can read single-layer games (Wii-sports, Gamecube games come to mind).
Either way don't be afraid to get your hands dirty and try and fix it yourself if it isn't reading discs already you can't do much worse.
I too use a build roughly built off of theytah's. I never got around to changing the music from theytah's but almost all the costumes and many stages have been changed.
Here's the link for those interested https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B4QFhSJWVz1AZzZ6RWZVdVdqWk0&usp=sharing
I'd love some input!
Yes. They tried to pull Melee from EVO, and we all spammed their customer support and twitter to get them to retract their decision.
CC Pro here. I've had the same issue before. The controller will, once in a while, randomly seem to drop and immediately re-input button presses. Normally, this isn't much of an issue in other games, but this is one of the most fast-paced and competitive games I know of that exists on the wii - meaning one wrong input could cost a life. (As I'm sure you know ^^')
Frequently, a [broken crackling noise] will come from my wiimote whenever it tries to make a sound as another symptom.
It seems that another person was having the same sort of problem [here] and said it had something to do with the router interfering with the wifi/"magic Bluetooth" that the controllers use to communicate with the Wii.
This seems possible, for the inputs are rarely dropped at my home, while they average once every second at Xanadu, which could have a different router setup.
If you're playing on PC via Dolphin, go with Open Broadcaster Software. Tweaking the settings to your liking can take a little bit, but it's worth it, especially with the replay buffer feature.
There might be other simpler recording programs out there, but this one scales better with your experience.
If you want to use that, hit me up in a private message, and I'll explain how to set it up quickly.
Just let me know which one you decided to get. OBS or OBS multiplatform
ohhh, righto. That makers sense as to why it doesn't work in the hacked up bat-based launcher.
Yeah, it doesn't handle saves due to the incompatibility with netplay anyway. I added a link to the specific file in the summary. Here, too: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9dA6ErlzTg5al9uc0dSeGJ4YUU/edit?usp=sharing
EVERYWHERE
I made a tutorial on how to do this [Here]. Hopefully this will teach you how to change the music, and the titles that are displayed in-game. :D
*gonna jack your comment and post this again
I can recommend OBS with VCE support. You the difference compared to regular OBS is that with VCE it can allow you to record with minimal performance drop. Like nvidia shadowplay. https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/obs-branch-with-amd-vce-support.13996/

Shoutouts to Scoreboard Assistant! I think it's a dollar or two, but it makes your life so much easier.
As for the bitrate issue, I believe the only fix would be to have quality settings on your channel (low, med, high, source), but I think it's pretty hard to get those if your channel isn't partnered, and even more so for a PM channel.
.>.> <.<
I've made a temporary unofficial fixed version. https://www.mediafire.com/folder/aw866tbrf918w/Fixed_Justin_Bailey Rim Lighting version also included, inside the 'rim' folder. http://i.imgur.com/HW3gOwt.jpg
"How easy is it to set a stream up." "What programs are required to effectively stream?"
OBS is probably the best option. You only need the right configurations, you can determine those with this
I'm not familiar with that capture device though.
Try using this custom iso builder I wrote with added lines for custom content. It doesn't really interfere when building a vanilla Project M either so Idk why it's not in the main thread :v
Although you'll need to edit that .bat and change the GCTSIZE to match the number of bytes the RSBE01.gct file allocates converted into hex. You also will need a custom smashbros_sound.brsar with the sawnds injected for the sfx to work properly and can do so with Super Sawnds.
I'll upload those two files for you/others later today and add them to the OP.
Did you rename the folder that you downloaded to 00000000(8 Zero's there) or RSBEN2? You have to name the folder to one of these to work for project m. the 8 zeros are for if you are playing PM using the Gecko method and the RSBEN2 is for the Netplay ISO builder method
Brawl Vault's Resources page has a data partition with all of Brawl's original files. It's called STGONLINETRAINING.pac. Here's a link to the folder with all of the stages..
I'm reading this again, and honestly it's possibly the most ignorant thing I've read on /r/SSBPM Firstly, no, it's not fluff. Most, if not, everything Tafo said is not fluff in the slightest. Aside from a few exceptions, TO's cannot afford to have Project M at their major events. Small local events, sure, and please help those out as much as you can. But once you go near Apex levels, don't expect PM to be there unless stated otherwise. And no, no amount of "legal confrontation, or a community confrontation" will help. Project M is not Melee. Granted Nintendo isn't obligated to accept either tournaments, but considering one is an official whereas the other is a modification, they're much more willing to let Melee pass and if PM causes too much trouble, they'll just call a C&D. What you're asking for is the suicide of PM, not the renaissance.
May I please see you evidence for how VGBC and others "giving in" to Nintendo hurts Smash in the long run? Where are the facts to back this up? Right now I'm seeing the money in Smash growing. VGBC and TLoC both have sub buttons which allow them to improve their streams, and these massive tournaments are getting more, better sponsors than ever before. And that's all because, no PM, which sucks, but it's the truth. As for AZProjectMelee? They're forced to use a Patreon because PM doesn't bring in enough money. And please, if you can, donate to them, because THAT will help, it's not fluff like you're, for some strange reason, stating it is. I know once I have a disposable income I will, because I'd be really sad if I can't watch Vixen's ZSS play.
> Smash 4 will not last long. The meta is weak and it simply is not built for competition.
Like in my comment before, where is your basis for this? "Oh no this game is lacking tech, that must mean it's meta game is weak and not competitive." I sure hope that's not it, because if it is, you're insanely ignorant
> it will crumble like brawl once the newest iteration comes out
You mean like every other fighting game bar Melee?
I'm just gonna say, instead of getting pissy and screaming "fuck Nintendo and Smash 4," why not actually take a stand and do something? If Project M's death is not due to a C&D then I feel that shows how fragile and weak the community was because no one was willing to step up and become a leader.
Stop making shitty Johns and saying "Fuck Smash 4." Look at TLoC, instead of stopping all streams and forgetting about PM, they created ProejctMCentral, a side channel so they can still keep a sub button on TLoC while streaming PM elsewhere. AZProjectM has a patreon page. No sub button, but they still found a way to make revenue to improve their stream. There are people finding ways to keep the game alive and instead of helping out, you're just sitting here banging away at the keyboard "Fuck Smash 4, Fuck Nintendo!"
Shut up, adapt, persevere, it'll be okay.
At the Moore monthly I played a couple sets on stream so I can actually look at my gameplay for once. This was a fun moment in a fun set so I figured I'd share. Also a bonus clip that was one of the best strings I've put together on a Zelda before.
Set can be found here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=euIHDWWCLU8&list=PLaZhs7JqS4yOEvmCWba4Y-aFfotz3TNGP&index=11
There's other software you can use if you're trying to edit an SD image on Windows. I use OSFMount, which allows me to use the image as if it were a real SD card. Just make sure you unmount the image before you fire up Dolphin.
To quote the pinned message on the discord from u/soj
First download ImDisk https://sourceforge.net/projects/imdisk-toolkit/
Navigate to your dolphin folder and find the sd.raw file you want to modify inside Dolphin/User/Wii/
Copy and paste to make a backup of that file
Now after installing IMDisk, open it up and click on Mount new. Find the sd.raw you want to modify.
When you're done, click eject.
you do need a specific program, im not sure what people tend to use (personally i only mod wii builds and leave netplay for netplay)
google brought up this as a possibilty, linked from the dolphin site: http://www.ltr-data.se/opencode.html/#ImDisk https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=Virtual_SD_Card_Guide
If you are going to post it on reddit (as a self-post or in this subreddit wiki) you will need to use Markdown formatting. After a quick Google search I found Pandoc which should be able to convert a Word document to Markdown format, which you can then copy/paste to reddit (I have no idea how well this actually works)
Hi I am a 21 year old Digital Design + Graphic Design and Creative Advertising double major student from Australia.
I can play drums, guitar, bass and piano. I am better at guitar and have been writing experimental spoken word acoustic songs. Sorry but nothing recorded yet.
I have a fair bit of experience in IT a due to going to TAFE and 2 years of a computer science degree. Sadly this makes me the computer IT helpline of my family.
I worked with my carpenter of a dad for most my life so I am quite good at building things and house repairs. I work at a retail auto parts store and have fair bit of practical mechanical knowledge due to being cheap/poor and having to fix my own cars.
I run a part time photography business that has yet to get off the ground. I aim to be a full time photographer in the future. My Instagram.
I longboard (skateboard not surfboard) and can do a fair few tricks.
I have a pretty big collection of Pokemon and MTG trading cards and several well balanced decks. Probably around the 8000 mark now i think.
Lastly I love to cook. I can cook just about any curry, various different indian styles, Thai, Italian, Mexican, various styles of Barbecue, some Northern style Japanese food and I also roll great sushi. No lessons apart from my dad.
So thats me. Sorry I don't have any videos or such but I am not super confident in myself just yet. You are all awesome! Thanks for this thread OP! Way to go!
It's uploading now. In the meantime, this is how you find your desktop. In the drop-down menu next to "Look in:" scroll all the way to the top, and then click the Desktop folder in the path /Users/<username>/Desktop (the Desktop that is highlighted in the picture, not the Desktop at the top of the drop-down menu). The thing is, there's no reason that your sd.raw file wouldn't show up, if all of your other folders and files show up as well.
Pik, even though it's finished, try greyscaling the bends on the cape then doing a Distort -> Displace in Photoshop, it does wonders with cloth, look at this example https://dribbble.com/shots/203393-Flag-Of-Canada-iPhone-Wallpaper/attachments/3911
MAL is MyAnimeList and I'm guessing A-P is anime-planet. The former is a thing where you can basically catalog and rate all of the anime you've watched, are watching, going to watch, etc. I dunno what the latter is cuz I've never used it.
a bunch more but since it takes a while to even get the basics down id say just start playing other players and focus on the utilizing 1 technique in your gameplay per time. this is a decent list of most techniques: http://genius.com/Game-genius-super-smash-bros-project-m-guide-annotated
You could try this, it's a proxy site: http://anonymouse.org/cgi-bin/anon-www.cgi/http://smashboards.com/threads/falco-discussion-thread.256826/page-439#post-14739329
In case that doesn't work, it basically says that fightin CPU's gets you into bad habits that seem like good habits because you win against the CPU's. You learn how to attack, but not how to defend against real players coming at you. There's a lot of in-depth strategy posted as well, and it'd hit the reddit character limit trying to post it here.
As far as I know, it doesn't have to. Try again, and if it doesn't work maybe you could send a screenshot of any error messages you get?
Here's the 2 gb sd card if you need it.
On the Wii using CFG USB Loader, WiiFlox, or USB Loader GX you can install the disk to an external device. It installs as a .wbfs though so you'll need to convert it to use with the ISO Builder. Use WiiBackupManager_Build78 for converting.
I personally haven't had good experiences with WBFS Manager or USB Loader GX when trying to do PM. Instead, try Wii Backup Manager and Configurable USB Loader.
http://www.wiibackupmanager.co.uk/
https://code.google.com/p/cfg-loader/
Wii Backup Manager allows you to keep your USB drive formatted as a FAT drive, no need to reformat to WBFS. I'd recommend removing the ISO and starting over.
Follow the guide to this guide T. You risk bricking your Wii if you deviate from the guide before you finish. This will modify your Wii so you can load games from a USB drive.
Acquire a brawl .iso through some method. Some people pirate it, but if you can acquire it via a legal method you by all means should. If you don't know what an ISO is, there's this wonderful tool you can use called a search engine. I personally prefer Google. But some really silly people like Bing.
Put brawl iso on your usb drive with a tool such as Wii Backup Manager
Put Homebrew PM on your SD card from the main site as if you had a disc
In the usb loader of your choice (I reccomend CFG loader or USB Loader GX) open up the settings for your brawl .iso and turn ocarina cheats on (you may or may not have to do this everytime you start the game, depending on the loader or if you save your settings or not)
Build the ISO from a brawl one, then use this http://www.wiibackupmanager.co.uk/ to turn the built ISO into wbfs files. The target for where the files end up should be, for example, F:\wbfs\ (where F: is the USB you're loading the games from).
Then go into the USB loader and don't change the default settings. Ocarina cheats are used to load codes off of the SD card, but since you're using a pre built ISO this is not necessary.
is this the first time you are using a usb loader? It does not have to be changed more than any other game, but you definitely won't do anything wrong regarding this, if you use "WiiBackupManager" or "WBFS manager" just load your usb hd as a drive in one of the said programms, choose the iso and transfer it .
It will probably mess up all of your mods or may not even update at all. What I suggest you do if your worried about your mods is use this program to move over all of these changes from 3.0 to 3.2. Just change these files on your sd card with these from version 3.2.But remember, if you are using any PM custom alternates to update them as the new ones don't cause the game to lag.
Or you can do what I did and start from scratch and just put all your mods in again (I had all of them in a folder already do it was pretty easy to do ;).
Thanks for the tip! I was using Theytah's Project M build, but the stage is: https://onedrive.live.com/?cid=1d78d371ef947634&id=1D78D371EF947634%2114522#cid=1D78D371EF947634&id=1D78D371EF947634%2121984
So that I don't have to deal with reformatting stuff across different websites, I've decided to upload the changelist (for the music one, anyway) to Google Docs. The link for the music changelist is here:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B82VjxvoxnMHWmkycEJGUHpsbEk/edit?usp=sharing
Once I get the Stage changelist underway, I'll compile a complete changelist and upload to Google Docs.
Weird, I can download just fine. Try this one - just extract the homebrew.zip file into the folder, chuck in the Brawl ISO... You know the drill.
So this is tangentially related to smash through my survey and not fnording at all but....
Does anyone know how to make a box-and-whiskers plot on Google Sheets? Or can at least explain how to do both the candlestick and horizontal marker thing both at once as shown here? It's driving me insane right now.
So, turns out I'm dumb, and probably should've checked beforehand (I still blame the site for not warning me :p) - unfortunately, Surveymonkey only allows free users view 100 responses to their surveys, and I've already received almost 500 responses. Unfortunately as an unemployed teenager, I can't really manage the fee for upgrading myself.. It's $25 for one month with unlimited responses ($24 for a cap of 1,000 however we're already almost at 500 soo), and if any of you would like to contribute you can send anything (even a penny would help) to my paypal at . Also, if you don't believe me; https://www.surveymonkey.com/pricing/upgrade/details/?select=monthly
Regardless, even if I don't receive any money and am unable to upgrade, I'll still post the results involving the first one hundred responses. Sorry about this, again. I guess this explains why that one guy had a survey previously and never actually released the results.
what os? what version of dolphin? official build or something like faster pm/melee? you need to provide more info
and here is the amazon url without any referral code: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07F36FWMQ
Well then it depends on how much more you're willing to invest. If you've got a USB flash drive with 8 or more GB free and/or don't have a Brawl disk, then you can follow this guide to install Homebrew and USB Loader GX (which can also be used to load any other games you decide to put on the flash drive, though other games will require more space), but it'll be a little more effort, plus like a 0.5% chance to brick your Wii.
On the other hand, if you do have a Brawl disc, 2GB non-SDHC SD cards are really cheap on Amazon.
Take your pick, but also do your homework. If you don't have the necessary components, at least take a look at what it would take to procure them.
Regarding the delay and lag, I can't say for certain because I used my old 5 ms monitor back then and I haven't compared it to a CRT or a 1 ms monitor either. My friends and I didn't really notice a big difference while playing though.
You're not letting go of the button fast enough. I'm not sure 360 controller buttons bounce back fast enough. I flick the X and Y buttons for multishining/SHDL.
You should honestly just get a Mayflash Wii U adapter and a GC controller.
Less than $40
Just buy the official Wii U gamecube adapter, plug it into your Windows/Linux machine (Mac requires a separate driver install), and you are good to go. Should plug&play.
Edit: Here it is on amazon.
Edit 2: I'm not familiar with Mayflash's adapter, so I can't speak on that.
so any of it's clones work? for instance this one?
Sorry. I'll try to add some more detail.
It was this adapter, http://www.amazon.com/Mayflash-GameCube-Controller-Adapter-nintendo-u/dp/B00RSXRLUE.
When I first plugged it in the driver installed and I could see the 4 ports in dolphin, but it didn't recognize any controllers actually being plugged in. After I tries installing other drivers and such through other sites and tutorials, dolphin no longer sees any ports.
In addition to looking through the menus for a progressive scan setting or something, you can also play Wii games in 480p by using component rather than composite (or AV) cables. It might bump up the quality to the level you're used to seeing on streams.
Here's a super cheap one on Amazon.
Hopefully you figure this out!
You could go with the Amazon return policy and get a new one if that interests you.
Opening them up can be tricky as you need a particular screwdriver to get it (Tri-Wing to be precise).
Once you do open it you should have some options to fiddling around with it but I'm none to familiar with that sort of stuff. A quick google reveals this handy guide that could be of some use to you.
Good luck and happy smashing :D

I use this to record any replays that might've by some miracle remained intact without desynching in-game. It can be used to record while you play, but there is a bit of noticeable lag which will likely prevent players from playing at their best.
However, if one were to direct me to a product that splits one AV cable into 2 or more, I would be extremely grateful, for that may allow players to play on a TV without the lag.
Alternatively, if you have a strong enough computer, you could try recording footage from Dolphin as you play your matches on netplay. o3o

Size doesn't matter, only pixel count does. You can raise or lower resolution in game to meet your needs, so graphical power isn't all important.
As for a laptop that can get the job done? You're looking at about $500 or so. I'd I'd recommend this. it has a moderately better APU than my laptop (3350U) which is itself just barely enough to run P+. If you're looking for the bare minimum comfortable play, this should be your starting point.
Website is a blog from someone living in the Arizona desert, so... Mountain Standard Time. Which, at the time of this writing, is 12:47 AM, the 15th.
The C-stick works differently in Brawl so that's probably true for that game, I wouldn't really know. I'm actually not sure how much they redid the C-stick's interaction with DI to be like Melee's for PM, if they did at all.
And naw that's not me.
edit: PM C-stick DI is the same as Melee C-stick DI: http://www.ign.com/wikis/smash-bros-project-m/Double_Stick_DI
>We have programmed DSDI to work analogous to melee, where you ASDI with the C-stick, and trajectory DI with the joystick. Normally the control stick will input trajectory DI and ASDI together in the direction it is being held, but with the c-stick direction taking priority for ASDI when both are pressed it allows the trajectory DI and ASDI to be in entirely separate directions.
Please wait for the Smash Movie's kickstarter to finish beforehand, we really need to get it funded, especially after Samox said he'll mention Project M in it.
Did you get any "request timed out" pings? Those are the ones that could cause the most problems as they'd be indicative of frequent packet drops.
Host does make a difference. Host experiences greater load on their network and I believe also on their PC. I don't know exactly by how much, though. When you host, what minimum buffer do you usually set it to?
Multiple sources of lag is completely possible. Online games are never perfect environments, and dolphin as an emulator is in a position to be among the worst. I ran into this issue when I lived with my family, playing for years on their tree-stump internet with a 4690K + 750Ti combo. A 4690K is perfectly capable of good emulation, but not with youtube running in the background, lol. I didn't know this at the time, tho, and thought our terrible (and unfixable) internet was the sole source.
If you don't mind, could you get more exact specs for everyone's PC? It'd be great to have:
CPU Model
GPU die Model (don't need the exact brand, 1080 Ti/2060/etc is enough)
Motherboard model
Amount of Ram
This is partly for my own curiosity (I'm a PC nerd), but may also help rule out or confirm hardware as a problem. HWInfo64 is a good application for this.
