Richard Winters seen holding a photo of his television counterpart Damien Lewis, and below, the recreated image of Lewis to match that of Winters in the same location.
Winters was the commanding officer of Easy Company, the Army unit whose combat from Normandy to the capture of Hitler’s mountain retreat was immortalized in the series, sharing the same name as his book which was published in 1992.
Richard "Dick" Winters passed away in 2011 at the old age of 92, rest in peace. There are still groups actively trying to have him considered for a post-humous medal of honor.

Maybe something could be added to the FAQ about growing bodies and hormone changes. It wouldn't hurt to have it there. It would be better for young lurkers to see that information relevant to them instead of what we have for our adult bodies (the majority of info on this sub and other subs).
Edit: composing list: sparkteens, caloric info, changing/growing bodies, basic nutrition info, impact of media on body image, majority of info on sub pertains to adult bodies
Edit 2: here is a link I posted to google docs. As long as you have the link you should be able to access and see it! I wasn't sure the best way to post as it wouldn't fit in reddits allowed space. There might be a way for you guys to comment on it. Please read and leave feed back to make sure I got things right. The mods can take the document and make changes and post it if they want.
More edit: i guess the link isn't public- I thought it was. My cpu is a pile of crap and decided not to work right now and I can't fix it from mobile. I messaged one of the users the email account I made for the document- maybe she can get it working before I can
Más edit: try this. It should be available to anyone on the internets. I accessed it without being logged in to google. Hope it works!
Even more edit:
Okay, Thanks /u/buriedinthyeyes for the feedback, I have made the necessary changes which can be seen here Let me know what you guys think, again permission to the mods to use and post everywhere they want.
Also I deleted the link to the previous edit because I had to upload a new file, and deleted the old one to avoid confusion
Mother of god this actually worked. If anyone's too lazy to compile this in Visual C I have a compiled DLL.
Steam/steamapps/common/Skyrim/skse_steam_loader.dll
Alternate DL Link: Google Drive link
In 'Skyrim/data/SKSE/SKSE.ini' add the following line (If you do not have this file make one with notepad):
[NotPlacebo] GiveFirstBornToSheson=1
Use this file at your own risk. Compile with the instructions on the link if you are unsure.
I disabled Safety Load and traveled consecutively from Whiterun-->Solstheim-->Windhelm-->Whiterun-->Solstheim 10 times with no ILS. Superb!
Update: About 3 hours of playing with 0 CTD's of any kind! I even did the speedmult test and sped around the map TCL with no freezes, really nice. uGrids stable at 7.
Checking to see if it worked: Go to 'Documents/My Games/Skyrim/SKSE/skse_steam_loader.log' and check for the following line:
Sheson took your first born in exchange for more memory
Hijacking top comment to post this: Runes are heinously imbalanced. Rune comparative stat bonuses are all over the place and have no real correlation or logic. This leads to certain runes just plain being better than any of the other options. Linked is a long spreadsheet explaining HOW runes are imbalanced exactly, and how to fix them.
EDIT: NEW LINK https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B8V0M5VVcPZWY0NxSFNpbFBOM0U&usp=sharing
Note: The spreadsheet is editable if you download it! You can change the "Adjustable Percent Values" Column and ALL of the runes will change accordingly!
Yo, I've been following the man since 2007, just wanted to clear a few things up:
Jay hasn't ever put out an official EP -- everything is a leak by DJs or old friends of his from his Detroit days. In other words, Style Wars EP was unofficial.
Furthermore, a great deal of existing Jay Electronica music was made between 2003-2006 in Detroit with J Dilla and Mr. Porter, though much of it didn't get released until after Jay made it big with Act I.
Here's a discography that's up-to-date as of last fall, I believe the only track it's missing is the one he did with Rapsody: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-YrAk8Z3LUiZzZ2WDFYVkV4cDg/edit?usp=sharing
Thanks for making this guide, it's long overdue.
Peace, and may every day be another day closer to Act II.
A cool design can work in your favor. Employers would look at hundreds of resumes with the same exact design. If you think a little bit out of the box, it might work for you. I was invited to at least one interview just to explain how I've made it in Word ("I just used a couple of text boxes to align the text the right way" "Oh... Hey <co worker>, he's the guy with that resume design, remember. He used text boxes"). On the other hand, I was criticized on one interview for NOT having the same old boring design (Joke's on them though, I got the job).
Edit: few people asked me to share my design. Here is a very similar design (but with horrible horrible content)
Hello, /r/Skyrim!
It's me again with another beatiful Minomi's art. I hope you will not be very angry with me for sharing it here :)
This is Google Drive folder containing full size images both individually and wrapped in a single zip file. Feel free to use or share them.
She would be really glad to hear any feedback from every Skyrim fan so you are welcome!
Best wishes and take care :)
I was bored, here's some airbrushing.
EDIT: Here is the de-garbaged .psd at original resolution. Still pretty big. 2268x4064 @ 23 mb
Alrighty!
You can now buy this printed on a t-shirt here! (I get about a dollar per shirt)
But if you'd rather print it yourself somewhere else, a vectorized file can be downloaded here.
If you print something or do anything with the image, please send me a picture :D
This image explains the authors' model.
Good selections, but I'm a little disappointed that no candidates that were out of left field made it in
Edit: Hi-jacking my top comment to say I created a 64 person losers bracket. Check it out!
Imgur link - very blurry though
Let me know if this is something you are interested in voting on!
I wish I could! Right now, I just release all of my work for free.
Also, if you like this sort of thing, you might enjoy my full-length, Reddit-themed South Park script. In it, Randy discovers the location of a missing plane, Cartman introduces Butters to some interesting imagery, and Kenny suffers and unfortunate accident.
This match is for the Unofficial MLS Championship Belt, which is currently held by Toronto FC.
The belt can only change hands via win. A tie won't do it. This is Toronto FC's first defense of the Belt.
I had the same problem when I upgraded 6 months ago. Here is my current personal collection of spacey 1440p+ wallpapers. (Took a while to upload)
Edit: Thanks for gold! I noticed imgur was compressing some of the larger images. Heres a .zip.
That mountains with space idea sounds awesome, so i made this real quick. Hope you like it!

edit: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B5sqTekVEShUNGo3Wjgtcm9YRTQ/edit?usp=sharing <--- this one may or may not look better than the first one since this one uses 2 of the same resolution images and the first one is mismatched. the first link has a higher overall resolution though, so I'm keeping both of them.
edit 2: changed the links to google drive links so that imgur's compression wouldn't decrease the quality
Here's a short guide due to a busy holiday season.
I've been getting questions about how to find inspiration for ideas, and the key is anywhere. It's not always what you're looking at, but how. I deliberately picked a non-building for this guide to try and reinforce that.
The main thing to take away from this post is the process behind the design decisions. And don't worry if abstracting ideas is confusing, it took me a few years to fully grasp.
TL;DR recap:
That machine is the largest of its kind in North America, its able to reach up to 18 stories
Edit: But honestly folks. The best picture your gonna get is with big ass lenses.
There's absolutely no way I could let anyone or escort them on to the site.
Its a danger to life. And it would happen so fast. You wouldn't even feel it. I don't dare go in there. Even with proper PPE and neither should YOU.
Stay safe.
Here's a Instagram video of a good sized chunk falling for proof. http://instagram.com/p/rjuZhpSvqd/
I'll be posting a google drive folder of pictures/videos I take from there.
Here's the link to the google drive folder

Folder updated for Tuesday morning
Thanks. It is Denver in the RiNo Arts District.
EDIT: I am tacking this onto the top comment because /u/OneEnglishGent asked about my design background and I shared with him my plans for my dream home.
From that comment:
"My father is an architect and I worked with him in high school for extra scratch; he has an amazing eye for design and use of space. I definitely know that his taste has certainly resonated with me in a big way. He and I actually designed a small open floor plan "urban cabin" together that I was going to build, but couldn't afford, hence this loft.
The bed was going to drop down like this."
Here's a PDF version of the list, if you prefer.
Here's an alternate PDF link. You might have to download it first before viewing it correctly though.
The document is close to the 100 user limit (did not expect it to be so popular!) If you can't get in, try refreshing.
Well, I posted the question at work, and I just got back to my hotel. Let me shower and eat, and then give me about an hour, and I'll get back to you.
EDIT: Finished! Don't really know how best to host the files, so I dumped them onto a throwaway Google Drive. Anyone should be able to access and download I think.
I uploaded in a number of formats, .obj, .dwg, and .3dm, as well as .stl for 3D printing. It's full scale, so resize it as you wish.
It's obviously not a perfect digital replica - I was going just off reference photos, but it should be a fairly good facsimile. Notably the font is off since I think he just did it by hand. I couldn't get the spiral wrap either, because when I told my computer to merge the spiral object with the rest of the hammer, it decided to just tell me to fuck off instead. I might try later.
EDIT II: Someone in /r/3Dprinting kindly pointed out that as is, the model is poorly positioned to be 3D printed. I will fix this tomorrow, if you are unable to fix the file yourself.
EDIT III: All fixed now. Model is scaled for 7". That's about the smallest you can get and still have the letters (likely) legible.
Here you go. It needs to run as the user in question before Pidgin runs. Obviously you'll need to change the config file to reflect your own server name and replace the certificate with your own (if necessary)
Easiest way to do this is log into Pidgin on your own machine and view/compare the files in your own AppData directory.
Edit: Someone else mentioned this further down, if the user chooses to remember their password it will be stored IN PLAIN TEXT in their AppData directory. This is a hacker's wet dream if you do AppData redirection and they get a hold of your file server data somehow.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4iYYkIa416GOW1xeVJaTVVmeTQ/edit?usp=sharing
And that's the end. I'm submitting this one late at night after editing took longer than I thought, so hopefully I haven't missed anything too major and the number of spelling/grammar errors will be low. If you've got any questions that aren't matters of interpretation, I'd be happy to answer them either here or in a potential epilogue. I tried to think of everything, but sometimes it just didn't get put into the text because I didn't think anyone needed to have three paragraphs of Superman talking about how he stole a piece of kryptonite from a research lab.
Edit: And thank you so much to whoever gave me gold for this post! Also for all the comments over the last two months, and the help with fixing typos!
Edit 2: Here's the Calibre generated ePub of the whole thing, in case anyone is interested.
I took the liberty of violating the terms of use, and copied and uploaded the list so people can see without having to go through the registration wall
Edit: Updated list with original warning and disclaimer
I posted this just a bit ago, but just in case you don't see it here is a template that I've had a lot of success with it. It allows you to put in a snowball number for loans and bills, along with two paychecks and any number of bills/expenses you may have. It also allows you to input extra income every month if needed.
I actually took a course as part of my engineering studies that deals with the stuff /u/Shinni42 mention in his/her post. It was called Numerical Computing, and the broad course description was "A survey of numerical methods for scientific and engineering problems".
The first method mentioned is referred to as the Bisection Method (at least, it was in the course I took, I suppose it's possible it might be known by other names).
The second method mentioned is referred to as the Secant Method. A slightly more "advanced" version, if you will, is called Newton's Method. However, this method requires calculating the first derivative of the function you're trying to solve, but it is slightly quicker to converge to the solution (the order of convergence for Newton's method is approximately 2 while I believe the Secant Method is closer to 1.7). I've gone ahead and uploaded the PDF with notes my professor provided us with on this topic to Google Drive:
I have more notes regarding the subject that I can share if OP (or anyone else) likes. Just PM me.
Here's a PDF version of the list, if you prefer.
Here's an alternate PDF link. You might have to download it first before viewing it correctly though.
Here's an Excel version too.
The document is close to the 100 user limit (did not expect it to be so popular!) If you can't get in, try refreshing.
Here is the form-fillable, cleaned up version version. Removed text, added some writing lines in the bigger boxes, and cleaned up some of the JPEG artifacts. This is my first time making a form-fillable PDF so I hope it doesn't suck! https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B1o1H5ImXDBSYU1fM2dZTXk0MTQ/edit?usp=sharing

(In the Google Drive preview you may not be able to see all the text, but it will be there when you download it, rest assured!)
One of my most favorite memories of my childhood was when I spent the summer with my grandparents on their farm. I would wake up early run around outside all morning, come back for lunch and eat it in front of the tv watching reading rainbow.
Edit: I actually wrote a short story in high school about that summer and read it at my grandfather's funeral.
Thank you for being part of my childhood.
with or without jerma's part?
EDIT: I'd loop it.
EDIT2: Not a dumb loop though. But still: I ain't no DJ.
EDIT3: Here:
The Cortot edition of the Chopin Etudes is fantastic. It has a collection of technique exercises paired with each etude which helps you work on the primary technique of the etude. It's great for indirectly showing you how to create technique exercises for other pieces you might be playing. They're hard to find, but there are some PDF copies, which you can get here
Thanks! It's a fun show to imitate.
Actually, you might also like the full-length, Reddit-themed South Park script that I wrote. In it, Randy discovers the location of a missing airplane, Cartman introduces Butters to some interesting imagery, and Kenny suffers an unfortunate accident.
This should help you. I took this data from a symthic thread and reorganized it. Hopefully it'll help you. (Updated to read easier)

Edit: Updated both links with better files. (Transparency)
I ripped the audio to an mp3 before it was taken down. I can share it if y'all wish.
Edit: Apparently y'all have been hitting up my Google Drive pretty heavily, so now I'm sharing the song on every online storage I have. One love.

Disclosure: this is not even close to Phish's entire catalog. I spent a good 7-8 hours pulling tabs, cleaning up text, adding lyrics, printing/binding and realize that there is quite a bit to add still (it still is over 300 pages). This does, however, cover the majority of Phish's current touring catalog: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0Bw1YO9ZsGZ7fbHhfaFVIel92bzA/edit?pli=1
Edit: Here is a more optimized file, with corrections: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bw1YO9ZsGZ7fUlN6dUFCVkU5eTQ/edit?usp=sharing
It's a total cluster fuck out there.
I did a piece on it for the last issue of Transworld Surf. I'm not sure who owns the rights to it at this point, but you can read the text here.
EDIT: This was the rough edit, can't find the final. I'm aware of the typos.
I just don't have a computer that would make building a massive colony ship in any way fun so I decided to do the challenge in a different way. I also didn't want to send my Kerbals off on a journey that could last hundreds of thousands of years, hence the bit at the end, done after the official requirements of the challenge were completed.
Bonus materials!
And here is a google doc where I logged most burns. I used it to track how much delta-V I was using and how much I had left.
Sure, let me redact some identifying info first :)

I uploaded the bbc documentary on the Spanish Civil war here and a documentary on the anarchists here
Books on the civil war:
Two good starting points are 'The Spanish Civil War - A Very Short Introduction' by Helen Graham and 'The Spanish Civil War' by Frances Lannon
A more comprehensive text is 'The Battle for Spain: The Spanish Civil War 1936-1939' by Antony Beevor
For Franco's atrocities read 'The Spanish Holocaust: Inquisition and Extermination in Twentieth-Century Spain' by Paul Preston
Two books on the radical background to the revolution:
'Anarchism, ideology and the working class movement in Spain, 1868-1898' by George Esenwein
'Anarchism, Revolution and Reaction - Catalan Labour and the Crisis of the Spanish State, 1898-1923' by Angel Smith
For the Anarchist perspective:
'The CNT in the Spanish Revolution Volumes 1-3' by Jose Peirats
'Anarchism and the City: Revolution and Counter-Revolution in Barcelona, 1898-1937' by Chris Ealham
'Anarchism and Workers' Self-Management in Revolutionary Spain' by Frank Mintz
'Free Women of Spain: Anarchism and the Struggle for the Emancipation of Women' by Martha Ackelsberg
'We, the Anarchists!: A Study of the Iberian Anarchist Federation (FAI) 1927-1937' by Stuart Christie
'The Anarchist Collectives Workers' Self-management in the Spanish Revolution 1936-1939' by Sam Dolgoff
'Collectives in The Spanish Revolution' by Gaston Leval
'Durruti in the Spanish Revolution' by Abel Paz
'To Remember Spain - The Anarchist and Syndicalist Revolution of 1936' by Murray Bookchin
I've uploaded PDF's of a few of these here
I'd recommend starting with the books on the civil war itself and then reading Ackelsberg, Mintz, Dolgoff and Leval.
I edited this sheet to make it a little easier. Select your league from a dropdown list, all input are on a single page, macros so there is no copying and pasting, asterisk players to highlight them in the upcoming picks on the Real Time Draft Tool page as /u/Beer4TheBeerGod suggested.
I'm not an Excel whiz by any means, and I'm sure it could be tightened up a lot, but I tested it a few times and it seems to work.
I didn't test it for every league, and I didn't adjust anything related to /u/AFKennedy 's method. Snake draft leagues only in the dropdown menu, no auction. It may be a pain adjusting this when the next BeerSheets come out, I didn't really think that far ahead.
After the players complete a major story line, I give a handout of the first page of the Korranberg Chronicle.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B_Jqss5QxR-_Qm96YXh6VTRMZHc/edit?usp=sharing
The articles reflect things that the party had a hand in, or where they could go to find encounters.
General Solemar is the guy that framed the party for treason.
The things about "Warmachine class warforged" is me venting my frustrations with my players for building two exact copies of the most min-maxed warforged barbarians possible. It's hard to balance a level 2 encounter when two players deal 20 damage a turn on average, and are immune to everything.
The planar forecast can also give hints for what kind of random encounters are coming up.
Ettercap-Man: Threat or menace? I think one of the future handouts will be a full page spread of the Sharn Inquisitor denouncing his activities.
Okay, I've combined the craft file and the two config files for B9 into one zip file, you can get it here!
The B9 config files can be pasted into their respective folders, should work just fine. I exchanged the batteries (I used KWR) and removed the KER Flight Engineer.
Action Groups:
Don't forget the +10° thrust angle, landing is recommended at 160-180m/s, and be careful with those vertical stabilisators, they pack a -30°<->+30° range of motion!
Now go and fly the brick!
I used to do a lot of research about cheating in Source Engine games because I was an admin for a Team Fortress 2 and Left 4 Dead 2 server. I was kind of their "cheater detection" guy.
Actually - here's a thing that I wrote about it. This explains several of the cheating methods that I've observed and how to spot them.

OK, fine. Using a single wikipedia search, the length of an NBA quarter is 12 minutes, 4 quarters = 48 minutes and an overtime period lasts 5 minutes. (30 seconds)
Then using a google search for 2012-13 NBA Regular season records, this database is found: http://www.landofbasketball.com/results/2012_2013_scores_full.htm (15 seconds)
Now I simply copy and paste this into Calc, use the find and replace tool to change the OT text into numbers, then auto sum each column we can easily see the number of points scored that season, the number of overtime periods played, and the number of games played. (45 seconds)
Now its a simple matter of putting everything together: 1229 (number of games) x 48 (number of minutes in a game) = 58992 58992 + 91 (number of overtime periods) x 5 (minutes in an overtime period) = 59447
241223 (total points scored in season) / 59447 (total minutes in season) ≈ 4 (rounded) (Calculations took about 1 minute)
30 + 15 + 45 + 60 = 150 seconds or 2 and a half minutes.
So there you have it, average number of points scored in a minute of an NBA game, calculated in the time it takes to score 10 NBA points.
Now, if you don't know something, don't put your hand up and tell the teacher "I don't know". Stupid ass Stupiddeep. (Also, Pikachu is the worst pokemon, Ekans is the best). Spreadsheet used: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7w6hNNQap7nR1d0b3ZYNDhUM00/edit?usp=sharing
Tutorial- run /setblock ~ ~1 ~ minecraft:mob_spawner 0 replace {EntityId:Creeper,SpawnCount:2,SpawnRange:3,SpawnDelay:5,RequiredPlayerRange:0,Delay:10,MinSpawnDelay:10,MaxSpawnDelay:100,MaxNearbyEntities:2} in a cmd block, then use this resource pack- https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B6FhuQL88eB4STlYdVFUWURVNGs/edit?usp=sharing You can change "creeper" to whatever mob you want.
>If pure oxygen is given, the patient immediately feels better, his minute ventilation diminishes as a result of the saturation of the arterial blood, and it may happen that the respiration stops because the reflex stimulation of the respiration due to anoxia on the aortic and carotid glomi does not exist any more. More frequently, however, the respiration will continue., but is much diminished and even if the blood becomes well saturated with pure 02, there is accumulation of CO2, respiratory acidosis, coma, and death.
Dont worry, i get this question about 12 times a day on average.
Here is everything you need to use my rainmeter layout and it includes the modified wallpapers
I wrote a research paper for one if my grad program psych classes about LaLaurie. The atrocities were extensive.
Let me find it.
EDIT: GOOD NEWS, EVERYONE!
I found it! It's hosted on my google docs:
Click here to learn about Mad Madame Marie Delphine LaLaurie
Just throwing this out there: I compiled a research paper on Tetrodotoxin a couple years ago for one of my biology courses.
I doubt many people will want to read through the whole thing (it's a fairly detailed and uninteresting 6-page read unless you're a bio major or have a unique interest in science), but I'll upload it to a google drive here if anybody wants to go ahead and read it.
The tl;dr is that the poison ain't pretty, but a cure for it could be possible given the results of some previous studies.
I actually made an excel sheet to compare the Model S vs competitors and how many miles you need to drive to make up the difference.
With current prices, the results are surprising.
I just updated by Dollar Cost Average spreadsheet. It is updated to today. It is interactive. You put in your investment and the interval (1 day, 10, day, 3 day, whatever) and it calcs periodic buys (at the low of the day) and compounds them for you.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B3-DChIXRBqcRk4zMXZMTm5FYzQ/edit?usp=sharing
The data on this starts on 12/31/12 through this morning. It allows you to adjust your interval and the amount you invest. If you scroll to the bottom row, it will show you the total investment, and your total value as of this morning's data.
If you understand excel coding, you can adjust your start date to whatever you want. It takes a little finesse, but perhaps someone can improve on it.
The key is that periodic investments generally return pretty good returns.
I know this thread is for trading. I am not suggesting this as the only alternative. I have been buying a little all along, and storing them away. If you continue to do that, with money that you spend on coffee...you could build a decent nest egg. And...if you are doing it with money spent on coffee...you wont be pisses if it goes away.
I know you are not going to give up coffee (I always think that is a bullshit sales tool) but my point is $5 a day, $10 a week...it adds up. Download and give it a shot.
I am NOT going to update this on every day either....I just think its fun.
edit: A little more descriptive.

Hey Guys, Thanks for the help in getting the resources to make the sign actually run. I can load whatever I want on to it now with the original software designed for it.
However there is still lots of work to figure out how to make it update faster as the software is clunky and meant for occasional updates when mounted outside a business.
My purpose is for a community sporting event to make the sign display who just completed their run, their score, and what the standings are. That is difficult since everything has to be typed in, scheduled, and then download and each step is a separate program.
Here's a link to the software for anyone who'd like to take a look
The VisionSuite software currently works in at least 3 programs. Vision-Quicktext for making the actual sign displays, then you save and go to Vision-Schedule and save to export to Vision-Setup to send it to the sign. The process takes almost a minute to update not counting changes made.
Does anyone know about .vmg files? or another way to edit?
Possibly feed data from an excel sheet or access database to the sign program?
Right now I'm experimenting with Autoit, but it leaves a lot to be desired. So Reddit, I will appreciate any input at all!
Thanks again.
For those of you who cannot make a copy of this because of high traffic, do the following to force a download:
Yes! Sounds like a chorus/double tracking effect. It's not present in the CD soundtrack.
If you can listen to the individual channels in the 5.1 audio track, try listening to the center channel only, then the left/right channel only. Notice the center channel has the (mostly) dry vocal; the left/right channel has the (mostly) wet signal from a chorus/reverb FX. Sum them up in a stereo downmix then you hear the effect :)
EDIT: The effect is intentional, but I'm not really sure why they use that in the movie.
EDIT: Three versions of "Let It Go" extracted from the 5.1 audio track (I omitted the surround/LFE channels):
LR: Left/Right channel: instruments, vocal effects ("wet")
C: Center channel: "dry" vocal (w/o effects), some instruments
LCR: Left/Right + Center: what you would normally hear in the movie
The dry + wet signal gives us that chorused/doubled effect.
It should be straightforward do you want me to build it for you? I don't have L installed anywhere to try it. Edit: Here
I had to turn off lint, and make sure SDK was up to date and had L previews, but built fine.
Not tested, but I'm sure I'll look at this soon, I didn't even look at the code, no warranties.
Make sure to allow install from untrusted sources, this is a debug build and not available in market.
This makes me really sad that you've never had an awesome dungeon crawl. If you can find them, check out the stuff that svdpress has done. Some seriously fantastic dungeons absolutely dripping with flavor. "Fane of the Heresiarch" and "C1: Crucible of the Gods" are two of the best adventures I've ever played.
They can be found here.
Check out ketogains. I'm 6'1 and got down to 135 then started working out. I was around 8% body fat with barely any muscle.
So basically you still have fat but no muscle so I would just advise to start lifting heavy with stronglifts or something like that.
Here is some pics of what I did First was last year in June or so. I was doing body weight workouts mainly. VERY beginner stuff. This was a month or so ago
I'm eating very close but above TDEE so gaining a few lbs a month. Body fat is now said to be around 13.5% or so.
You basically have to go into crazy underweight territory to lose all your fat when you have no muscle. I would advise to just start lifting now.
I made something like this in photoshop,as a psd template.. just replace your photo and fit it..

so where's my 10 bucks?
(took like 5-8 min)
Yeah buddy good idea! Its a LVAD or left ventricular assistive device- it takes over the function of a failing heart by a rotor which 'pumps' blood up to 10 Litres/minute, which is the full output of a healthy heart.
The fascinating bit comes from the design of the device itself - it propels blood with a constant flow, which leaves the user without a regular human pulse. Sustaining life whilst removing the clinical definition of life itself - the heartbeat.
Here's my one page written report for more info: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7FY2ZN82m2aTFJyaTVINkVKZFU/edit?usp=sharing
Sigh, sex and gender are not the same thing. Your sex is what you are biologically, your gender is what you identify as. I would encourage you to read Fausto-Sterling's Sexing the Body as it is a very fascinating and SCIENTIFIC look at gender and sex and the politics behind a lot of it. Don't want to educate yourself? Here's a link to a pdf Fausto-Sterling wrote titled The Five Sexes: Why Male and Female Are Not Enough.
Here are some slides from my Women and Gender Studies class
Also, do you even know about intersex people? What sex and/or gender would you say they have? The world isn't black and white and I would sincerely encourage you to educate yourself as you sound like a right ignorant twat right now.
I'm totally going to make an OS X build of this. Thanks for notifying us! +/u/dogetipbot 50 doge verify

303 kh/s on a 760, same config as I had previously. Improvement of 40 kh/s. It accepted K, so I'm assuming they're interchangeable? I might be able to to reach 330 kh/s with overclocking, but I'd have to flash the card's bios for that.
Anyway, here's the build. Don't forget to install curl. For example, install macports and then: > sudo port install automake autoconf curl
I guess I'll start:
I love the concept behind the Burning Wheel and its derivatives, but the whole system was just too heavy for my group, and I wanted something that was easier to GM. On the whole, it's pretty easy to convert Mini Six to just about any setting, and I'm really pleased with how the rules ~~are turning out thus far~~ have turned out.
~~Fair warning, this is a living document, and everything in it is subject to change at any point (I'm working on the gear section right now actually, since the stats just don't work as they are).~~
Edit: I'm finally done editing in all the details from our last session, and I feel confident enough that this version of the document is balanced enough to call version 1.0 so I made a PDF of it. Feel free to keep replying with any ideas/critiques that you have though, obviously it can only get better!
Edit2: Now with a character sheet!
Google Drive spreadsheets are also handy alternative. There's a lot of templates available so you can get a budgeting sheet started with one click.
However, a real man makes his own with unnecessarily ambiguous plans, fights hours with the API and only then switches to an existing template that actually works.
That's cool, this has been my desktop for quite a while now (I think since I first saw the flag), I made my own version and I use it as an overlay for different background images I swap between!

Here's a link to the PSD that has my version of the flag with the background I used, to switch it out you just delete the bottommost layer and replace it with any image you want:

The first two guys sort of covered the standard capabilities but there's some neat other stuff you can do with smartphones.
I found a little bluetooth OBD2 reader. I plug it into my car and my phone connects to it. This gives me readouts on any codes my car is putting out and lets me check readings on all of the car's sensors. Additionally I can use the GPS on my phone in conjunction with the OBD2 reader and track huge amounts of data about my trips; high-specificity MPG readings, engine load readings, oxygen/fuel mix, etc. It's also fun to make these for weekend drives. (Don't worry, my home GPS coordinates aren't on there)
I also use my phone for listening to podcasts, watching netflix in bed (yeah I know I need a laptop but my desktop works fine shutup), videochatting with my mom on occasion, locating friends, and finding food.
The number one use though? Learning stuff on the fly. 90% of my phone's use is asking google about something that just came up in conversation that I"m not sure of, or need to know more about, or need to clarify. Some people laugh at me for how often I pull it out to google something but I"m a firm believer that if you've got the large majority of human knowledge in your pocket then there's really no excuse for NOT looking something up when you don't know it. "Hey man, where should I go in Seattle besides the Space Needle?" - "Oh, there's a tower that's taller, has cheaper admission and a better view. It's... oh, I can't remember the name of it. -Okay Google, what's the tallest building in Seattle with an observation deck? - Okay dude the place is called Columbia Center Sky View Observatory and it's at 73rd Floor, 701 5th Ave, Seattle, WA 98104"
I do that constantly.
This is basically just the same texture, but altered so it doesn't show up with their additive shader. If you want to just make it smaller, you can edit your original .dds files with image editing software.
I'd note that this won't remove all the flashing, a lot of that comes from the light on the clouds that appear while you weld.
You can reduce the apparent light a bit more by hiding that welding "dust" by changing line 62329 in \Content\Particles\MyParticlesLibrary.mwl (Always back up files before making changes!) using a text editor from:
<Value>0.4941176 0.5647059 0.6039216 0.3764706</Value> to
<Value>0 0 0 0</Value>
If that makes welding look too boring for you, try altering line 62086 from <Value>100</Value>
to something higher (this number influences the number of sparks that appear when you weld).
This is for SE version 01.027, later versions may have different line #'s.
None of these changes actually remove the effects, they just hide them. (Got some weird crashing and graphical issues when I removed them entirely.)
of course I am, lol I made it for b3ta and /r/Clonedgif
Edit: ok you pesky reddit cynics here's the last .psd file save before the final touching up(google hosted) ;) use the 'download' tab, and open in photoshop or anything else that handles .psd's
Have a gander at my collection of roll tables. That seems to be what you're looking for.
If I'm wrong, I'm wrong. But hey, either way, you've got free awesome roll tables.
I have this problem where I can never decide on one desktop, especially for my HTPC, so I compromised by layering desktops and rotating them every 10 minutes!
I couldn't get the wisp file to load properly, so I borrowed some pieces from the Before Dawn Bar, made a few custom buttons, and modified everything to work with this background.
Here's a google drive link to the modified skin, wallpapers, and even the photoshop files for the buttons and the wallpapers. All but the .rmskin file will need to be unzipped.
Sure I could do it. Give me a bit.
EDIT: Done. Modded Simplicity to do a double pulse vibration every 5 mins. Download it here (SDK 1.0 and 2.0 Variants)
I haven't tested the 1.0 variant since I have 2.0 on my watch, but I'm assuming it works since what I changed is nearly identical to the 2.0 code.
For anybody who may be interested in it from the post:

Got a request for it via PM, thought i might as well post it for everyone.
A big thanks to the person who gilded this post and the (presumably) other person who gilded this comment!
GODDAMMIT, YOU FUCKERS THERE IS A WEBSITE? I JUST SPENT 20 MINUTES ON THIS
haha, oh well. Here's mine. You might need a font called "Diploma" to get it to work.
Oh, I just received a reply from you: “Several of you have asked to see the post I would like to use. Here is a link to the working document (pdf). https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B_jM1FPk53yFRmd4WE1MMlRsREU/edit?usp=sharing”
Unfortunately, this link only works if /u/gnomestories grants individual access to each person who wants to read it…via Google email. Which means /u/gnomestories will then also have your personal email address as well as your entire reddit history. No bueno. So I created a throwaway Gmail account in order to obtain access for those of us interested…unfortunately, /u/gnomestories hasn’t gotten back to me yet with a link that actually WORKS so that we can all see what she is planning to illegally use in her book. If someone can get screenshots or a link direct to the “working document” in Google Drive (her words), it would be great if you could post it here, so we can all ensure that she is not using our stories without our consent.
Furthermore, /u/gnomestories, you will need to remove my name AND all of my comments, threads, stories, words, etc from your files. I am currently on hold with my lawyer,* who will be advising me; based on the information you have provided already, and what is listed in your personal reddit history, you won’t be too difficult to locate in order to facilitate litigation.
And finally, my comment is 1,895 words long. Sorry, but I won’t be paying you your “$5-per-1,000-words fee” to read it for me.
You can watch it here without subs:
You can download the subs here, but you also have to download the Youtube videos to enjoy them. (credits for reuploading the subs: /u/coheedcollapse)
I made a Catan board randomizer in Excel using VBA a couple years ago for a class. With a few modifications it might be able to help with the randomizing and printing process?
If anyone is interested, I'll share it here
Extremely easy to use, just make sure to keep the resource images in the same folder as the Excel file or it will break.
Here it is! The score everyone was waiting for...
21 Juke Street vs. The Incrediballs - A Teams

G2H2: 21JS 2 - IB 2
Game Two: 21JS 2 - IB 4
The Incrediballs secures the final playoff spot in the red division, while 21 Juke Street now turns its focus to make a run in the B team playoffs.
Great game everyone and thanks again to the streamers! I'm sure we'll be talking about this one for a while.
A couple of years ago I actually wrote an RPG for another redditor that was looking for a campfire RPG. Maybe you'd like it too? You can see the original thread here.

The latest version is actually 4.2.42 which can be found here. It has resolved the chromecast duplication issue for some.
This one has a complete list of every player for every draft as well.

A few months ago, I got really bored in work and decided to make a Liberator guide (on company time - shhh! don't tell the boss!)
I started by making an Excel spreadsheet of all the cert costs for the Liberator and wound up writing quite a lot about how I use the Liberator, why I cert mine the way I do, and how I feel the vehicle should or can be used.
My motivation for putting all this down is that there aren't any good Lib guides online. I checked beforehand, because I didn't want to cover old ground, but very few guides out there give you a detailed breakdown of cert cost, general utility of features and the like, so that's something I've endeavoured to accomplish with this guide. Even if I don't use something, I've explained why I don't and the situations or playstyles that particular addition suits, rather than a simple yet uninformative, "I don't use this."
Yes, there's a lot of information in there, and I wish it wasn't just a wall of text, but I don't really have the time or energy right now to chop it all up and put it in video or audio form. I'd really love to hear some feedback from you guys - pilots or not - if you have the time to spare.
Finally, the format I've chosen is google docs, because: a) I did half of the work in my office and those programs were what I had b) that way I can add stuff, edit things out etc. very easily if the game is changed in any way
So please, take a look and let me know what you think of the whole package. In addition to the guide itself, I have included the aforementioned Spreadsheet and just one example of a 'Budget' or 'Starter' Lib loadout which costs under 1500 certs.

Here's a zip containing all the frames of this animation in glorious 2048p RGBA. Take it and do whatever you want with it.
Some technical information:
The linked zip has around twice as many pixels spanning any given part of the animation, giving clearer edges, but only has 3/8 as many render samples per pixel. I'd suggest first cropping the animation to the desired area, and then scaling it down as much as possible to smooth out the noise (should all be possible in most video editors and some image editors).
Have modified your design for my own purposes! I have made them large buisness card size with a players can see side and a dm only side with the "health bars" so that the PC's can see how much damage they have done! Link
I took the liberty of uploading 'The Fabulous Crowbar' into my google drive for you :3 Click For Fabulous!
Don't know how to use mods from a browser?
1: Put the file into C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod\addons
2: It should load as your default crowbar. If not, hold down 'Q', select the 'Weapons' tab and it should be there. If not, it's probably your fault ;)
Also: Have a pokeball mod: Gotta catch em' all!
To be honest they probably plan things out using something like Adobe Indesign. That means meticulously laying out the format of the book after the book has already gone through a bazillion rough drafts as a simple text document.
You can achieve similar feats using a word processor however. Try OpenOffice. You can use the Format Page option to split the page into two columns. Half the reason most RPG books are easier to read are because of the two column layouts.
If you want a background you can add an image like this and make sure you've aligned the image to the back of the page, set the wrap to let the text go through it and anchored it to the page itself (not sentence or paragraph or anything). That will give you a textured background if you decide you want to pretty it up abit.
other than that, look up some online tutorials to help with formatting documents. Once again, if you want to get real fancy use In-Design. That's the program used for, i'd say, about 90% of document layouts for anything from RPG core books to random magazines.
EDIT I see this has already been posted. Please ignore.
As some armchair lawyers are chucking their opinions around I thought posting the Judges sentencing remarks would be helpful. Especially as it gives a clear, succinct and rather grim summery of each offence in rather more detail than you'll get in the press.

Hope I'm not too late to the party, but this took a bit of time and my internet is slow. I've got a .wav of the song on piano (not the best quality audio, but I tried)- everything is done straight with no crescendos, etc., at 120 bpm. Let me know if you'd like a version of it faster or slower or something. I've also dictated it as written into a .pdf in case you'd like another copy of it
https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0ByvcSIS24B20MWJiMTdiMVd0UzA&usp=sharing
(If the audio doesn't work because google drive is spotty, you can try downloading the .wav or I'll find somewhere else to post it)
Then just take it back to the her and explain it to her. Finance is the most incompetent group in the Air Force, as my favorite JTAC explains here, so it often helps me to get their extension when I deal with things like this, just for continuity but mainly for my satisfaction. Danzilla had a good idea with the crayons. I'd suggest highlighting your reg and letting her read it for herself. Actually, she probably wouldn't understand. I think you're going to need to make it into a children's book, sit her down on the couch with at least 3 feet in between you IAW SARC standards, and read her what you need.
Luckily, I'VE GOT YOU COVERED
Very nice. I always liked the old "ugggghfff" sound. Your version sounds even better. Here's a .mp3 of the hurt sounds in-game in case anyone wants to hear it first.

I have started using Excel and have written some pretty useful formulas to auto calculate Amazon and ebay fees - let me know if you're interested and I can post the spreadsheet tonight. There is a column for sell location and it determines which formula to use based on that. I also have it where I input the buying location and I can input the sticker price I paid at Goodwill or a yard sale and it will add sales tax for me, or not (if from a yard sale, estate sale, or Craigslist).
Edit: Here it is; once you understand the formulas (or if you don't care) just delete my explanations. I keep a line with the formulas at the bottom of all of my entries and copy it to the line below as I add entries.
Well, I subscribe to the theory that there are 2 ways to build a world:
Macro-building:starting from the top down, building the universe first, then the world, then the nations, then cities, etc. Good for straight up building.
Micro-building: Starting from the POV of a character, and building up as the character experiences different things. Good for books or RPG games, if you prefer minimizing the amount of content necessary/content seen.
I personally am building a world just for the fun of it, located here: https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0BxmM1R9cuvzneE1xZHVTdW8yYmc&usp=sharing
Write down every idea you have, no matter how small it may seem, because it may blossom into something big.
I was playing Red Alert 3 the other day and saw the airships and thought "that would be cool in my world (which is medieval)" That one little idea has turned into the Dwarven Empire, a constant threat to the rest of the world, and the largest group of Technomancers in existence.
Thats all my basic advice, happy worldbuilding and msg me with any questions. :)
