Interesting approach, so knowing that Frozen is accepted as taking place in the 1840s I have the date of Frozen laid out.
Remember LiaOD when Hans and Anna end their song? It's a full moon! Taking the date July 29 in mind I went to this website to determine the lunar calendar year for all of the 1840s in Norway and saw that July 29 had full moon in 1844. So I can say safely say that the date of coronation day is July 29, 1844! :D
Yes! Sounds like a chorus/double tracking effect. It's not present in the CD soundtrack.
If you can listen to the individual channels in the 5.1 audio track, try listening to the center channel only, then the left/right channel only. Notice the center channel has the (mostly) dry vocal; the left/right channel has the (mostly) wet signal from a chorus/reverb FX. Sum them up in a stereo downmix then you hear the effect :)
EDIT: The effect is intentional, but I'm not really sure why they use that in the movie.
EDIT: Three versions of "Let It Go" extracted from the 5.1 audio track (I omitted the surround/LFE channels):
LR: Left/Right channel: instruments, vocal effects ("wet")
C: Center channel: "dry" vocal (w/o effects), some instruments
LCR: Left/Right + Center: what you would normally hear in the movie
The dry + wet signal gives us that chorused/doubled effect.
We are watching it actually, at http://cytu.be/r/yepityha at 22 GMT.
We watch it every Monday/Friday at 22 GMT, actually. I think we'll make a post for others to see a little bit in advance tomorrow.

p.123, line 21, Olaf named the spirit of fire 'bruni' or 'sally'.

'Nixe' is a type of water ghost that appears in Germanic-Scandinavian folklore. The Norwegian for 'Nixe' is 'nøkk'.
From p. 147, line 23 of the linked book, it is called 'The Water Nokk' when the water spirit tries to drown Elsa into the Dark sea.
I feel your pain.
I've watched Frozen 7 times already, listen to the entire soundtrack on repeat every single day because I absolutely love the music, have this subreddit as a shortcut waiting for beautiful fan art to surface, hell, I even bought this necklace.
Frozen has been a huge positive influence on me but nobody I know feels the same way. I'm even beginning to feel like my friends are annoyed by my Frozen obsession. :(
I appreciate your love for Frozen and I do not mean to offend you in any way, but please read this and then consider remaking your survey to have fewer open ended questions so the surveyees don't have to write so much: https://www.surveymonkey.com/blog/en/blog/2012/04/13/10-online-survey-tips/ (especially 2, 3 and 4) :)
All your questions are answered in the new book, Frozen 2: dangerous secrets. It's pretty good, I suggest you give it a read.
It is a must :)
But like all other frozen merch, it pretty much goes out of stock the min it goes back in stock.

This place ships worldwide and has got it back in stock once it twice, but sells out quickly.
Disney store us had it back in stock for a bit.. So it's possible the uk one might.
I had to scrounge for mine here in Canada. Luckily found a small private book store which had it.
That's not a plothole. "A plot hole is a gap or inconsistency in a storyline that goes against the flow of logic". Her being isolated could happen and it is essential to the story. It isn't an inconsistency and it's not illogical (in a plausibility sense).

Likewise, bruni and nokk are mentioned in many books released before the release of frozen 2.
Frozen is too a real anime, it won Animation of the Year at the Tokyo Anime Award Festival.
Check out tor browser bundle. It's a browser for Windows and Mac that doesn't need to be installed, so you shouldn't have a problem using it on a school computer, and it bypasses most filters and blocks.

I actually decided to try out some real lesbian romance books as a result of Elsanna. There's some good stuff out there.
Thirteen Hours by Meaghan O'Brien could totally be a modern AU Elsanna fic if you changed their names and physical descriptions a bit. :D
This technique is basically cheating, but if you're watching this from your phone, turn the video upside down, and follow it by also doing the drawing upside down.
The idea is, if you turn it upside down, your brain basically gives up on telling you what the shapes should look like, instead allowing you to draw what you actually see, which is what you really want. Your brain might think, verbally, that eyes are all perfect round or oval shapes, so it'll try to make you draw them that way (even if you don't want to), although that's rarely the case. It might sound completely obvious, but you really need to draw what you see, not what you think you see.
This is a technique popularized by the book "Drawing from the Right Side of the Brain", which is a must read for anyone who wants to be good at drawing, regardless of your skill level, even if it's the same as an 8 year old. (The author actually points out that most people hardly ever progressed from the skill level of an 8 year old.) The scientific ideas explained there might be outdated (it's 25 years old by now), but the essential concepts remain true.
I tried to replicate your success.
EDIT: Frozen (the black and white version) is now in development.

Apparently for free accounts, Survey Monkey limits the survey to show only the first 100 responses, and I don't really want to spend $26 for a 1 months membership!
I got the physical version from The Book Depository here. Hm, the price is has gone cheaper already. It's a lovely story of them spending sister time together. (Unfortunately for me I'll be reading it so much for bedtimes I'll be reciting if off by heart soon just like with A Sister More Like Me. -_- )

Actually that's possible. You can install bino and open the BluRay with it, then select Input: Left-Right (half size) and select output (left-right full size) and check "switch left and right".
Then you can watch it in cross-eyed 3d. I've been doing this several times already.
Here's an example: http://i.imgur.com/xL22JRL.png
Who are we? Well, the stream was originally set up by a few people from /r/Frozen in 2014 but we really like all things Disney (and Pixar) and we would love if you could come and watch with us! We air a lot of Disney movies, shows, games and other fun stuff.
Also, don't worry if you missed out on anything! Just ask, and we'd be more than willing to re-add a movie or even put on something else (given there's nothing special on at the time and we have links).

Not as Frozen fandom hipster as some of the people on tumblr, good gods. They talk of loving the movie before it came out and all they had was the crummy advertising to go off of, and something about a frozen rose that kept coming up in the frozen tag
BTW, Found the same artist on Pixiv... pretty sure it's the same artist. Alot of the gallery items are the same. Ran into that randomly on the アナと雪の女王 tag on tumblr

That meme really sums up my recent shopping experience.
I just saw both Frozen 1 & 2, plus Frozen Fever and Olaf's Frozen Adventure about two weeks ago. Why did I wait so long? I had the mistaken impression that it was only for kids — I was sooooo wrong! It's really a fantastic musical, and I've been playing the songs non-stop.
I've been pouring over the Frozen merch on Amazon for 2 days straight. I made 2 previous Orders which I had both Cancelled within hours. I just couldn't decide on the perfect expression of my new obsession. I must be setting all sorts of flags on weird Amazon account activity. I finally decided on Disney's version of Queens Elsa and Anna for my first doll set. This is like the First Hit to Chasing the Frozen dragon. Help me!
A VPN might work, there are some that you can use for free. I use the paid version of ProXPN, but then again I live in the US so I didn't try it for this anyway.
All I'm saying is that where there's a will there's a way!
It's been about 3 for as long as I can remember. I was 7 when Finding Nemo came out, though, so I wouldn't know. Maybe release windows were longer back then.
Big Hero 6 took 3 months and 17 days. And it was even released online a week earlier than DVD/Blu-ray.
And as a bonus, since we are in /r/Frozen, our favorite movie took 3 months and 19 days to get to DVD/Blu-ray.
Don't forget Frozen on Google Drive and the Brain Freeze
Ouch, paging Google Fiber to your state!
Is the connection issue with Google Docs or with Reddit? If it's the first, you could try working offline with it, it's what i do with my chromebook without internet. If it's the latter, then welp.
Either way, thanks for your hard work towards compiling this subreddit's content!

DDWRT is out of the box os. If you are lazy it's good but if you need more sophisticated features etc. it can be not enough.
OpenWRT for me is like real linux. You get simple ui and basic stuff. All the rest is in easy to download (from webui!) packages so you install stuff you only need.
If you want something in between I'd try Gargoyle. It's based on OpenWRT with a lot of features pre-installed, nice gui and easy to configure (but OpenWRT with GUI it's easy as well!).
You should just try all of them and pick one which fits you the best. I really like Gargoyle but on my router it had problems with MAC spoofing on WAN port so I'm sticking to OpenWRT for now.

"Princess Anna has spent most of her life behind the closed doors of the castle of Arendelle, but now she’s free to explore her homeland and share all that she’s learned about the kingdom. Readers can follow Anna on a tour through her family’s castle, up to the ice palace, through Wandering Oaken’s Trading Post and Sauna, and beyond as she reveals new locations explored in the upcoming sequel!
The book includes enchanted keepsakes from Arendelle, including secret notes from the two sisters, magical snowflakes, and even a recipe for tasty chocolate popsicles! Readers will also get to meet Kristoff, Sven, the trolls, and other beloved—and new—characters along the way.
Gorgeous original illustrations, found artifacts, and Anna’s personal narration let readers become fully immersed in the epic story ofFrozen, from the beloved original film to the exciting sequel releasing in November 2019!"
I saw a young readers novel on amazon. I’m guessing this is the text.

I'm really glad you are undertaking such an impressive task! My best advice is to write every single day. You have to get into a rhythm, and then it becomes easier to write. Also, make multiple drafts. No one has ever written anything good on a first draft.
If you are really serious about writing, I recommend reading "The Elements of Style" by E.B. White, and "On Writing" by Stephen King. Both books will drastically improve your knowledge of the craft.
Additionally, I really like your idea, and I can't wait to see what you come up with! Feel free to let me know if you have any questions or need any help!
There's a ton of picture books for little kids. Then the Anna&Elsa series as OtomeOtome listed, as well as "Ghosts of Arendelle" and "Olaf & Sven on Thin Ice" (also by E. Rudnick.)
Interestingly, some titles seem to be directed at a different age group in different languages, containing different information. For example, the French version of <em>Anna is Our Babysitter</em> is directed at a much older age group in French as <em>Une nuit chez les trolls</em> (6-8 fr. vs 3-7 eng.) and contains mentions of Kristoff as Anna's fiancé and references to them starting a family sometime soon-ish. The English-language books for preschoolers tend to talk of him as her friend.
So it's somewhat chaotic.
Thank you!
I probably won't make a lot of this kind. All the rotoscoping and motion tracking takes a LOT of time. But I do have an album of almost 100 "normal" GIFs if you haven't seen it already: https://imgur.com/a/8hlGL
Indeed haha.
I have never been anywhere beyond here, ElsaMasterRace, and FrozenFriends. I might start searching for some other ones too, but knowing my stress issues, that probably won't be until a long time from now.
I have heard about her frying pan. Is it really powerful, or is it just memetic?
It was very active before I was here, and honestly I don't think it will ever spring to life like that ever again. The only thing I can think of that would do such a thing would be a sequel. Fever is likely going to result in the same thing that we saw happen when the Fever trailer was released. Just some extra fuel to keep the flame burning longer, then it will gradually fade once again.
Look at this article I just found in accident lol. This one caught me by surprise. Damn, the odds of life out there increase with each passing year.
A really bad translation (in my opinion, but this is also the most shared opinion), but yes, it is available right here : La Reine des Neiges 2 - La forêt des ombres - L'épisode inédit entre les deux films https://www.amazon.fr/dp/201710843X/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_4Y1NS0MC7103A8RXPGYZ
I made the ticktock flair because /u/NixonsRevenge requested for it 1 week ago, and he told me exactly what he wanted. The other lipbite was entirely done by /u/dodnthint, so it was even easier.
AND. If you want more sidebar images, I need it to be in total 6 Hans flairs, and 6 corresponding Hans images. You can even make your own sidebar images by downloading my PSD file here.
Do you think the creators would be able to add meaningful and good content by extending the duration of the movie? I feel like a lot of what was left on the cutting room floor was probably just not good enough. Adding more to the movie doesn't necessarily mean adding more good scenes. For example, this is one of the outlines of the deleted scenes. Would a scene like this help out the film?
I explain that in this comment. /u/Frozen_Turtle then provided a better method (actually extracting the source image from the game files) further down.
Oh ok, that's cool. Thanks for your contribution as always!
Not sure though what you mean by Photoshop “mix” but afaik PS shouldn't have that kind of limitation. Are you on some limited/trial version of PS? I haven't actually used PS myself in a long time now though, so I wouldn't be too familiar.
If you don't know about it yet, may I introduce you to GIMP, an open source alternative to Photoshop that's arguably better in some ways.
Here you go, I downloaded both of them into google drive.
Edit: Enabled downloading. And just listened to them. DAMN that's cute.
The second picture is a similar pose to the one you see on the non-collector's edition cereal box, but her eyes aren't looking at Anna.
Thanks to /u/reluctant_ts, I ordered mine from Barnes and Noble and just received it today!!! Unfortunately it's out of stock now..

I am currently working on A Drift in Time. Any feedback about where you think it should go and what can be improved in future chapters would be greatly appreciated.
The shadow thing sounds kinda cool. I see then, though I doubt they would really mind to be honest.
Yeah, it has a very crystalline appearance with a very organic feeling to it. Like I said with Xylia though, she enters one of their structures at one point, and ends up getting stuck there for a while because the layout of the structure changes continuously xD. Combine that with a 8 - 10 AU diameter structure, and you can imagine how bad this situation can be.
I did some more image searching here to visualize what these races may look like. I couldn't find anything that would resemble the Xelcry though lol, but I did find some for the Pleadians. I did say they were based on Nordic aliens, and it turns out I have been spelling the name wrong this whole time xD. It's spelled Pleiadian, but I think I will keep it how it was originally lol.
Anyway, this is around how I envision their society, only with some blue and yellow lights and glyphs mixed in here and there. This is almost exactly how I imagine them, only more elven like, around 8 ft tall, with armor, and minus the wings (unless they want to pull them out from their armor lol).
I wonder what the gift is though? I bet it's just going to be another act of true love IDK why, but yes! More happy Elsa is always great, but I think we will be seeing more worried Elsa because she does affect the party in some way.
I don't have Netflix, but it looks like it is.
The characters are pretty well differentiated, so you'll keep track of them all right. Might be best to binge watch a season on a weekend or something just to help yourself in that regard. You'll still catch yourself wondering "wait, who is this person again?" from time to time, usually in regards to a staff member who isn't in every episode, but it's easier than it sounds.
Autumn colored land. Might they meet the fire princess here? also quick heads up for everyone cytu.be/r/yepityha# is still a thing! you can still come hype frozen with the rest of us!
Here's a sheet I made from the podcast. I tried my best making it as accurate as the one played from the podcast. I'm 100% sure on the main melody but not at the chords part.
Finale Notepad or MuseScore work pretty well. Tell you what, I'll give it a shot, no promises though since there are many reasons an arrangement can come out less than ideal.
I got some piano sheet music from this guy's cover here. (The site looks sketchy, but really just press download and you should be fine). It's not the movie version, but it's the best cover + sheet music combo I've come across.
Firefox users seem to be out of luck, and userscripts.org is down :(

As someone w/ signed copies of Art of Frozen and A Sister More Like Me, I share your obsession.
Did you get in on the kickstarter for the Lovely book? I was too late for that, but Amazon ships next week.
This is a spam account.
Here’s a direct link to the amazon listing: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07TJKCFN9/
I’m not certain this is a real sale either, or just one of Amazon’s standard “sale” markings. Either way, don’t support this kind of lazy money grabbing.
Don't forget about the beloved 10/10 [mobile game]!(https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jamcity.blackforest_goo&hl=en_US)
Time, I guess. For the time being you just do whatever you want to do, vids, games (there's this game about decorating the Arendelle castle lol), fanfics, or even rewatch Fever or Olaf adventure, etc... Don't hold back, and after another week or so you may get rid of the obsession.
Before Frozen 2, this song was somewhat mediocre to me but after F2 it hit me straight in the heart smh. Knowing that Elsa and Anna are still together, but this time just not being in the same place all the time still somewhat makes me feel so sad. Now it've become my 1st favorite song of Frozen saga.

Heyy! They are cardboard Elsa's! I bought them from Amazon! The prices range from 30$ to 70$ (each) I have the majority of them!
Here is the link if you're interested:
All the dolls look awesome, and I would love to have one!
What I absolutely hate about Disney's Limited Edition dolls is that unless you have a Disney store in your town, and you buy at the Date of Release, it's absolutely impossible to get. Then the price gets tripled to like $600 with Amazon Third Party Sellers and eBay.
I just watched both Frozen movies for the first time last week. Yes: Last Week! I'm crazy in love with both movies and the music. But I totally missed out, and settled with ordering Hasbro versions of Snow Queen Elsa and Arendelle Anna.
Looks like the whole album is 15.3 GB. And nice! Have you considered referencing any of the boos to help with your project? I know "Disney: A Frozen World" has some a castle layout, you can actually see it in the Amazon preview.
Thank you for your advice, I found this on Amazon. What do you think, is it original? Anyway, sorry for my English, it's not my main language.
Amazon! But their print on demand division which was making all of their F2 shirts seems to be closed at the moment, guessing due to virus. Here’s the link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0849YG52T/
Keep an eye in the coming weeks. I’d guess it becomes available again.
They’re not printing it at the moment. Give it some time and Amazon might be doing them again when the virus calms down: Disney Frozen 2 Elsa Into The Unknown T-Shirt https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0849YG52T/
Frozen Fever was released on Blu Ray as part of a Animated Short Collection, if that helps. It includes Tangled Ever After, Paperman and Feast as well, so it's a really nice assortment. Usually around $12 on Amazon.
Not sure, probably Wal-Mart or Meijer. She just asked him for toothpicks and he comes back with earrings, a mug, and toothpicks. That being said, here is the Amazon link I got the picture from.

I had a similar problem here, but if you bypass it with a VPN based in the US it works fine (I use Zenmate (free)). It has a nice selection of characters and props to play around with. Thanks for the share!
I like this idea. A brilliantly evil Anna would be fun to follow, especially as she climbs the political ladder.
Don't include the sex scenes if you don't want to (I'm excluding them from my fanfic as well). It would be nice to see something that doesn't rely on sex or Elsanna to tell a good story.
My best advice is to plan the events beforehand, and then start writing. Once you do start - you can't stop. You have to write every day to maintain momentum. You can also look for a beta reader on /r/Frozen. I would be happy to look at your stuff, if you wanted me to.
And if you're really serious about writing, you should read "The Elements of Style" by William Strunk Jr. and E.B. White, and "On Writing" by Stephen King. Both offer brilliant insight into the world of writing.
So yes, you should definitely write this! I look forward to seeing your work!
Alright. It's going to seem hard at time. You're going to hit a roadblock, but you have to push forward. The first draft is the "beach storming draft" - you have to do it, but it isn't going to be pretty. The second draft is where you go back and pick up the pieces and make a story. Don't give up!
In whatever you write, put your own emotion, your own passion into every single word you put on the page. You have to connect with the reader. You have make to make us feel something. You are better than this as you think - you already know a lot about emotion - just don't be afraid to put it on the page.
For some really awesome insight into writing, you should read "The Elements of Style" by William Strunk Jr. and E.B. White, and "On Writing" by Stephen King. Neither is very long, but they have improved my own work tremendously.
Additionally, I would be willing to beta read your work so you can get feedback before publishing.
I think she'd probably love it, but you might want to check this one out since it has a lot of good reviews.
I think, it is from a book called "Anna in charge", you know, one of those golden book or whatever books, which I presume follow this same story from the comic of the magazine but with more details.
And there's an Anna & Elsa book with the same plot, but idk really.
Apparently is from a book called "Frozen - 5 minutes stories"
and it looks like is a compilation of several books! nice!!!
It's available on Amazon instant video now. The Blu-ray/DVD will be available on the 18th.
I'm really looking forward to A Frozen Heart! Sadly, it seems it's been pushed back - the Amazon page gives the release date as August 25.
