DICE Suspends Work On All DLC, Other Projects Until BF4 Is Fixed
That might have something to do with it.
Sure, but it doesn't show much else. XB1's "Record That" feature only records the previous 30 seconds.
Take note of what?
If you mean the action points they outline, then:
2) Removing the IP doesn't stop anything and has been discussed ad infinitum, you'll get the IP when you connect to the server anyways, and that's not even counting all the 3rd party server tracking systems that also display the IP like https://www.gametracker.com/search/bf4/
3) Hardware ban is relatively easy to circumvent by just swapping out the motherboard and re-installing Windows among other ways (do a quick Google if you wish to learn more)
4) That is up to the GSPs, though it's fairly easy to circumvent by using some other payment method and different contact information
It's good to see that he got busted for it though
This should help you. I took this data from a symthic thread and reorganized it. Hopefully it'll help you. (Updated to read easier)

Yes, the MP7 is that fast.
(Let me know if i did something wrong with google docs sharing....)
(Credit goes to the original person who pulled the info, if you find it in the symthic forums, please link it)
i think the real threat to battlefield future is not hardline doing well, it is that fact that EA's Simpson freemium app got them 100 million $ of revenue
They are certainly going to push for that freemium logic into battlefield. Battlepacks are not here to keep progression and unlocks interesting, they are the trojan horses for what is to come next.
There was another .gif of this happening inside some tunnel, it looked like something from F.E.A.R. It was pretty cool. One of the "flashes" happened to be to a red flower bed, but it was there for so little time it just looked like blood. here
Link to the original artist's Behance page: https://www.behance.net/gallery/Siege-of-Shanghai-Battlefield-4-fan-art/10579099 Looks like he enjoys doing game related photo manipulations, check out the rest of his stuff.
I've also helped about 15 random people to get the camo , but theres an easy way doing it without writing any notes , i've used this android app , its also solves the Morse code part , its still about 30-45 minutes but its much easier that way.
meh, the "EA evil mastermind" trope is getting tiresome.
It is not that EA is greedy or that it is evil, it is that it is desesperate. Thq is dead, lucas arts is dead, crytek is not doing well :if you look at the big picture, the AAA gaming industry is a highly competitive environment whith very high cost and little benefits.
Have you guys look at EA's results of the last years? On all its gross product, it has barely been making any benefits. Not that it is the only one in the same situation : Ubi Soft is barely positive too.
Worse, one of their biggest success story is a free to play game, the simpsons who made over 100 million $ of benefits.
Ea is not the worst company ever, it is just a company who needs to make money in order to survive while freemium games are the most beneficial and AAA games costs are skyrocketing.
Yes, EA is not the best pro-customer company but it should not prevent you from seeing the big picture.
I highly, highly reccomend you purchase Premium if you want any of the DLCs. It is much cheaper than buying the DLCs piecemeal as you will get all 5 as well as some nice skins and whatnot. It's currently on sale at 20 bucks at Origin, the lowest it has ever been, or you can set up an alert on IsThereAnyDeal if it's still too much for you
Ubisoft haven't exactly been known for their honesty and openness during the past few years, so I wouldn't even trust them on the free DLC or free games. EA also offered free games for flopped launch of SimCity, but understandably, many people weren't happy with the selection they offered. We also don't know what this "free DLC" will contain - it could be some useless crap or content cut from retail release.
As for BF4's case - I'm pretty sure there's been multiple "thanks" and community events with some rewards. Crappy rewards, but still better than nothing. A free 6th DLC would definitely be a nice gesture, but IMHO the biggest reward has been the amazing efforts put into CTE which is even planned for the future titles like Hardline. ...As well as a valuable lesson learned about preordering (that is, don't do it).
^(edit: grammors)
It's only a beta that's being released to a small audience. Here's a link with more information.
It's due to Gametime accounts. It's essentially a new sort of demo that allows anyone to create an account and get a certain amount of time to play with the whole game minus DLC I believe.
Ok. I read somewhere else that a lot of the people who are getting kicked have Astrill VPN service installed. Do you?
"Yup, thats 4+ people now that have been using the VPN. You guys might be crap out of luck, you got banned for having the same IP has a hacker that got caught red handed, it will be hard to prove you are not the hacker."
I'm pretty sure that they're already working on the final DLC for BF4 and even BF5. Look at the premium calendar, the last DLC finishes summer 2014. Which means another autumn release of the next battlefield to compete with COD.
Edit: I mean Battlefield's website, not the premium calendar
https://www.battlefield.com/battlefield-4/expansion-packs/final-stand
We had everyone record their own view of the launch, but only two were used in the video.
Inside the LAV can be seen here
My personal view can be seen here
I created the trailer you see above.
I've been wanting to make a sweet promotional video of the awesome shenanigans my platoon Prepare For Titty Fall (PFTF) pull off, and well... I'll be damned if this isn't near perfect.
Lady and gentlemen, we did it. Tonight, we bounced over the Lancang Dam.
I just made this point to a friend who's up in arms about this. Sorry, but I didn't have tiered/throttled internet problems since I've been paying for my own internet service in 2001 when I moved out of my parent's.
Someone translated either morse code from the fire on the destroyer or some chinese text somewhere (I don't quite recall) into "Fire wind monster". We've already determined that "dirtpile" was the disguised filename for the shark texture, so "dirtpile" = monster. In Jack's video, there were also mentions of lightbulb and grassphysics. Grassphysics change when the wind changes. After the first set of mcoms are destroyed, the storm dies down, and the grassphysics change. So "grassphysics" = "wind". And "lightbulb" = "fire"? It's also worth noting that Paracel Storm is the only stock map with no levolution [that we've seen so far] on rush (heard this from someone else, may need confirmation).
We also noticed that after the first set of mcoms are destroyed and the storm goes away, all the lightbulbs on the map turn off. No wind = no fire (lightbulbs) = no monster?
I also discovered that one of the rocks to the southeast of E is exactly 1015 meters away from the radio tower (where 1015 is written). Distance was confirmed via a headshot. http://tinypic.com/r/2mzjmhh/8
58 photorealistic screenshots of the landscape and battle
edit: just a tip for others wishing to take photos of BF4, turn your supersampling all the way up to 200%, and turn off FXAA (antialising post) for the sharpest, most realistic pictures.
Step 3 (Easy Mode) (Tested by myself)
Download FixDLCBF4.reg and run.

Download the free Game Time version and try it out.
The 650ti will probably be enough for low settings at 1080p60, but the i3 could cause some dips below that even on low settings on 64p servers or maps where a lot is going on or performance in general isn't that great.
Same here. Origin is a spinning loading icon. Edit: It looks pretty bad. https://downdetector.com/status/origin Official Origin server status page now showing account offline https://www.origin.com/en-us/status
each has their own benefits. BF4 is different, but not by a large margin. If you are only looking to waste time till Evolve, I would give BF3 a try. I believe some servers are still popular enough to enjoy.
BF4 should last awhile. BF:Hardline does not look like a great next title, and a lot of people do agree. Its one I will be skipping, and using BF4 as a time waster till BF5 comes out.
You could always use BF4 Game Time to test the game out before thinking of buying it.
I have a huge bunch of beautiful "screenshot-wallpapers" on my PC. Collected over time, only the most supreme filtered out. I also have a bunch of promotional art from original sources (uncompressed, mostly very high-quality .jpeg files). I'll upload a .zip folder as soon as I get home, Imgur resamples some uploaded files so the quality goes down the toilet. I'll put an EDIT on this post in about 6/7 hours. Stay tuned.
That's about 120 files with a compressed size of 255 MB. I hope downloads are swifter on your network. Enjoy.
Developer of GameRanger here. I don't think that list is accurate.
As a couple of examples, Company of Heroes never used GameSpy tech. Neither did Aliens vs Predator or any of the Quake games.
No you will not get banned.. the stance is the same as it was at BF3.. which is basically. "Frowned upon and could pose security risks for yourself, we advise not doing it"
Download FlyVPN Lite, log in using the Free trail login, Select korean VPN, Log in to origin, activate your game, close VPN and download :)
Doesn't compress gifs.

Edit: Yes downvote me even though I am correct. For someone who has used imgur for over 2 years, I must have no idea what I am talking about.
Why is it not added automatically? https://www.origin.com/store/buy/battlefield-4/pc-download/addon/battlefield-4-community-operations
Why the hassle? Yes we need to browse the store for 30 minutes just to find it, but we won't buy any other games while looking for it... this is dumb.
Why would you? BF5 won't come in at least year and a half, probably Winter 2016. BF4 is still getting awesome support, incoming 5 free new maps and a really healthy playerbase. Also, you can try the game for a week for free to decide if you want to buy it -> https://www.origin.com/en-ie/store/free-games/game-time
If you speed up the sound on kevinsimpson1942.com (using audacity I increased the speed by ~~400%~~ 500%) it sounds like a leaf blower/lawn mower starting up.
Uploaded the file to Google Drive: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B6IY6wU2ol38bk5HZGt1dXRSeTQ/edit?usp=sharing
EDIT: Changed to 500% increase based on MrPuma's suggestion.
http://www.gamefront.com/battlefield-4-walkthrough/7/ for those wondering this level. Agreed! Would be a good rush map and conquest, domination and tdm also. Would be a nice infantry and maybe light vehicle map, like IFV and scout heli
That is a hell of a shot. Hitting heli's with rpgs has become one of my favorite parts of BF4. I made a little montage of some of the kills I've made if anyone is interested. https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=66B5F99EDD5F55AC!161&authkey=!AHvMg0jtKVfVT0Q&ithint=video%2c.mp4
I've moved on to the sraw now. So much easier than the RPG.
BTW you added three Silk Eoad links Here are the good ones
Altai Range http://www.metacafe.com/watch/cb-iS6bPOLZkJ5y/altai_range_battlefield_4_map_preview_xbox_one/

The problem is you are joining servers where someone has already solved the puzzle for themselves you need to find a server that has just reset the round or rent a server so you have admin powers to rest the round yourself.
Here are some resources to solve the puzzle
After you solve it and get the morse code I would record it for ~8 minutes so you have the video to work with in case your translator messes up.
I used this and a webcam to translate the morse code. It wont actually translate numbers correctly so you will need to take the actual dot and dash output and paste it into a translator you can find through google.
You get the basegame for 10 Euro here in europe right now. And because of https://www.battlefield.com/news/road-to-battlefield there's no need to buy Premium. Last week they were giving away Dragon Teeth for free on Origin. This week they give away Final Stand for free (untill the 25th) and all the other DLCs for BF4 will be following as far as I know. So, if you're logging in today, and the next couple of weeks you'll have premium for free (except for Dragons Teeth) but that'll be cheaper to buy single compared to the whole premium package.
And I think you're going to love the transition to PC. Awesome Graphics, nothing can beat a mouse/keyboard combo, and with the ongoing double xp events you'll be catching up really quick. I play on both PC and Xbox360, and you the only advantage of playing on console is that it takes me a couple of seconds to join a server and it takes much longer on PC. But I guess that might be my old rig and the old HDD :)
SuperF4 is a useful little program that force kills the foreground task when you hit ctrl-alt-f4. Accomplishes the same thing as using task manager & selecting kill task but a lot quicker: https://stefansundin.github.io/superf4/
Basically when you're done w/ BF4 you hit ctrl-alt-f4 and are instantly back at desktop.
Sorry, however it seems I don't have it and can't find the URL.
The mod is a Rain Meter mod - google it for more info or http://rainmeter.net/
This is a new Background I'm using as whilst trying to find the file to share for you I changed backgrounds..lol.
> The cheaters were banned and they were legitimately banned.
Only... you have absolutely no idea if this is true or not. Don't really care if you believe me or not, but I don't cheat, so clearly something is going on here. Like other people in the thread have said, I have Astrill (because I also live in China. Need the VPN for a multitude of reasons), so I'm starting to think that this may be a common factor in this madness.
If I actually were hacking, I certainly wouldn't come on here and declare my innocence. What would be the goddamn point? I'd simply pack my bags and move on. Stop and think about that for one second. Most of the people here complaining about being wrongfully banned are probably legit; the one's who aren't are most likely hiding in their holes.
To be fair, they still aren't doing terribly in the scheme of things. Charts/stock prices can be pretty deceiving if only taken at face value.
This sounds like bullshit, but we do know a "major Frostbite 3-powered" title to be revealed at E3 is scheduled for the fall.
There you go.
https://vimeo.com/94773133 for those of you late to the party.
EDIT: I dunno if this would work, but I downloaded it from this site http://www.clipconverter.cc/download/bYxDiQC5/100396024/
You may be able to download it for yourselves
A subscription where you get access to several dozen games, even fairly recent ones, for a few bucks a month or about $60 a year. You also get 10% off on everything in the store.
https://www.origin.com/en-us/great-game-guarantee (works only on PC of course)
Edit: or you can wait a few weeks until Naval Strike is for free, then there will be more players playing Carrier Assault
The Premium Edition is on sale right now for $20. The base game is $10, but Premium is easily worth the extra $10.
Do you have screen tearing, bad or inconsistent frame rates or poor lighting in your room?
Another thing to check is, old monitors can develop a flicker with the back lighting. I had this issue just a few months ago and replacing my monitor alleviated my problems.
I put up with it for months, it was very subtle and hard to notice until it was close to dying completely. It's worth checking though.
EDIT: If you are on the PC a lot during night, using flux may also help.
In ranked, you can get experience to go towards levels, attachments and other fun stuff.
Unranked gets none of that, it's just for fun.
Neither of them get quick-match players.
This might be able to explain it better.
I think the rocket disappears if you let it hit the invisible ceiling. It's best to shoot at a slight angle towards your target.
Like this: http://gfycat.com/BlackGiddyAphid
(Ideally your target would be much farther from you and the SRAW wouldn't impact until you're close enough to attack.)
The symbolic link command is really useful for any Origin game ~~since only one installation directory is allowed in Origin~~. If you have an SSD, you can pick and choose which games you want on the SSD and which on your HDD.
This link from howtogeek shows the full commands to make a symbolic link. The Shell Extension program (at the bottom of the page) for Windows makes this a very easy process. It takes seconds and you don't have to know or memorize the DOS commands.
Just tonight I put BF3, NFS, and Plants vs. Zombies on my HDD after installing them to the SSD in Origin. Easy as right-click, left-click, right-click, left-click.
**EDIT: According to auApex, Origin lets you choose different installation directories now. The symlinks are still useful if you want to install new games on the SSD and move the old games off without uninstalling them I suppose.
The problem with asking in this sub is you're only getting the opinions of people who like the game enough to subscribe here. We're pretty much all going to say you should get it.
Try it free for a week and then decide for yourself.
Little Bird.
One year ago I experienced my first ride-along with JoisL, a pro little bird pilot. It was so inspiring and I've been pursuing that expertise ever since. 13k kills later and I've made into the top 2%. Still a long way to go but I'm proud of the progress I've made none the less.
Edit: For anyone else that is interested in learning how to little bird, check out the article I wrote up for noobies. https://www.scribd.com/doc/280112707/BF4-Profile-Presentation
lot of suggestions here. I'm no pro, but use Mooo system monitor. If you are bottlenecking or your CPU is failing or over heating, it will tell you. One thing I love about that monitor is it tells you exactly what is bottlenecking.
I had a problem similar to yours with BFBC2 a few years ago, ended up being a fan of all things using too much power. Mooo told me the fan was sucking up more power but not spinning, for whatever reason, it was making my graphics card stroke off. Unplugged the fan, never had an issue after that (as odd as that sounds.)
http://www.moo0.com/?top=http://www.moo0.com/software/SystemMonitor/
Try it if you haven't, won't hurt.
Trough EVGA Precision (http://www.evga.com/precision/). Simple user interface with a mhz slider, pretty much the same as every other overclocking software. Can set up the under clock when the PC is started, so I don't have to worry.
Symbolic links is the answer.
http://schinagl.priv.at/nt/hardlinkshellext/hardlinkshellext.html
There's several gigs of single player content alone that you can "move" to a standard hard drive. After that you can move individual map files of your choosing. Strangely, you'll still see a large load time benefit if a map file is tecnnically on your hard drive and not your SSD because so many other game assests that go into a loading sequence will be pulled off your SSD.
Alright, so I haven't seen this posted yet and a lot of you have been asking for this. I looked up the function, and graphed it on Desmos. Have fun, I didn't.
https://www.desmos.com/calculator/lrp3qihzvi
For what it's worth, I've tried both negative and postive x=7.25154120937236 and finding the intercept but haven't gotten anything out of it yet.
Edit: I'm not super adept with math, but I believe the graph below is an accurate representation of the golden spiral as well.
https://www.desmos.com/calculator/rernu4txhb
If I fucked this up let me know, but the spiral passes through 0,1.61803398875 so I think I got it right.
Is there any risk using FlyVPN to activate the game as far as your computer security/information compromise goes? Also, what are the steps? I see FlyVpn is free for use up to 3 times a day. Would I sign up, log in, and just use it to activate the game, then turn it off?
Thanks
Yeah it sure has taken a bit of a hit over the last few weeks.
Probably couldn't bring a 3DS because it has wifi capability. I remember reading somewhere that submariners couldn't have internet capable devices because the signals could be detected.
There was some sort of Navy initiative to issue Kindles or something full of books, with the wifi components physically disabled.
No, I worked at DICE from 2011 to 2013: http://www.mobygames.com/developer/sheet/view/developerId,492471/
Glad you're interested, put it on your watchlist, might be i lower the price if there are no bids within a week :)
I don't think I see a single unannounced EA title there, much less the six to be unveiled. I still expect a Battlefield title -- in some form -- to be released this calendar year.
bro premium was on sale for $18 this week (expired now). I suggest you wait if you are short on money.
Buying one dlc for $10-15 isn't worth it when you can get premium for $20 and get everydlc + more NEW dlc to come this year (for premium only).
Individuals DLCs are NOT worth the price, seriously don't buy any of them. Only buy premium. Premium sales come and go once in a while so look out for them.
If you can't wait and need dlc now, premium is $30 on g2a.com https://www.g2a.com/battlefield-4-premium-origin-cd-key-global.html scroll down and choose one of the cheaper marketplace sellers for $29, in cart un check donation for charity. and it should be like $32 total with g2a protection thing.
Premium <strong>EDITION</strong> - this is the base game plus the premium "service/membership/whatever you want to call it"
Premium <strong>Membership</strong> - this is the "upgrade" for people who already own the base game.
Dice: Alright, we're almost done we just need to fix a few-
EA: SHIP IT NOW NOW NOW WE NEED THE PATCH OUT NOW WORK UNPAID OVERTIME
Dice: But we haven't finished the game...
EA: I think you know what will happen if you dont meet our expectations.
^(^I ^understand ^that ^the ^first ^link ^doesn't ^involve ^EA. ^I'm ^pointing ^out ^that ^this ^is ^what ^happens ^to ^devs.)
Minimum Requirements | What you have | Do you meet the minimum requirements? |

you can always try out for free: https://www.origin.com/en-nl/store/free-games/game-time
I use this website and it works wonderfully.
Very customisable, allows you to receive notificiations when there's an ongoing sale.
Requires 0% of your time and attention.
not only fake purchases, they also cover other situations such as getting sent the wrong item, counterfeit items, damages from shipping, never receiving it etc.
I use paypal for everything as it makes it easy and a single entry point to my bank account.
Its plenty active. Here is the Gametracker link for BF4 PC servers worldwide...
https://www.gametracker.com/search/bf4/?&searchipp=50&sort=3&order=DESC
I'd save the money and go for premium. There are key shops that sell it a bit cheaper than the Origin store.
Have a look at these pages: https://www.g2a.com/battlefield-4-premium-origin-cd-key-global.html http://www.g2play.net/category/3135/battlefield-4-premium-dlc-ea-origin-key/
But watch out for which platform those are!
Overall, it's a very fun game. Regarding the issues, they're mainly bitched about by anal players that are looking at everything from a technical standpoint, which is warranted.
However, Battlefield hasn't ever been known for the perfect hit registration, it's known for the expansive wars you take part in. Overall, if you play it the way it's supposed to be played you have a game that you will spend hundred of hours on. The average player plays 350 hours, in the lifespan of a Battlefield game. That's number equates to the worth of the game. This game is no different, people are logging hour after hour.
There is obviously a HUGE community that outputs material at an excessive rate, there are thousands of things to do in game to keep you occupied. The graphics are devastatingly beautiful. There is a mastery with every weapon, attachment, tool and vehicle.
If you are interested, I suggest you purchase it from https://www.g2a.com/
You can get base game for $30 and premium for $43. There isn't a better deal anywhere on the internet. If you become a part of this community, then happy hunting!
I'll see you on the Battlefield.
This is why. https://www.origin.com/en-ca/store/free-games/game-time
oh and Fairfight is spamming fake ban messages to make it look like it's doing an effective job, at least that's what it's doing in the CTE. just cycling through list of nonexistent accounts, play long enough you see the same names over and over. Check the names, never existed.
https://www.origin.com/en-us/store/free-games/game-time
You can try it free for a week there. But for your questions:
>- Are the servers in the US populated?
Yeah, I've had no problem finding populated servers from release up til yesterday night when I last tried.
>- Should I buy premium or do most people just play the base maps?
Do the trial first. There's a pretty good mix of base game and DLC servers. I think Premium was worth it, the DLC is all pretty great for the most part.
>- Is there anymore content to come in the future that I should wait for or something?
IIRC there's going to be at least one more DLC, but Premium will get you that so no need to wait really.
>- Will the playerbase move to hardline?
Some, but plenty aren't. The first beta wasn't too popular with BF4 players that I talked to, and I'm one of a bunch of people I talked to that aren't planning on getting Hardline
>I didn't like hardline very much. I had some fun with the beta but I don't intend to buy the game. Battlefield 4 seems like the better game to me.
My thoughts exactly. BF4 feels like a complete game, Hardline felt like an expansion pack (at least from my time in the beta)
This is part of their Black Friday sale: https://www.origin.com/en-us/store/deals/sale/blackfriday-sale
So unless they do some sort of flash deal (which I do not think they generally do) this seems to be it.
Googling came up with this work around, but thats all I can find. Hopefully someone else could lead you to a perma fix.
I personally don't have this issue running dual monitors.
https://github.com/synergy/synergy/issues/4101
Or this tool:
Download smart port forwarding. It allows you to open specific ports. I had to use this for BF3 because I had the same problem. So once you have it downloaded, open it, right click, and select "add new forwarding port". Then in the top left, under "protocol", select UDP, and just to the right of that you should see "listen port". Change the number to 3659. Click ok. Right click on the new port, and click "start selected". Now open BF4 (don't close smart port forwarding). When you are done playing you can either stop the ports and close SPF, or just keep them running and close it, it doesn't really matter. Hope this helps.
As for the 100+ ping and empty servers, check your server filters, and make sure you don't have anything checked that shouldn't be. Above where it shows the ping on the server list, there should be a small box that says "ping", if you click on it, it should sort the servers with low pings on top.
Basically what the whole angle thing is supposed to represent how much armour your shell is actually trying to punch through.
Armour in its most basic concept is just a lump of material that your shell is trying to punch through, if you are dead on 90 degrees when you fire at the enemy tank, your shell only has to punch through a specific amount of armour. While an angle attack is going to have to punch through more armour.
It was a lesson learned between the world wars by tank designers and why many of the most successful tanks in ww2 sported sloped armour because you never want to present your armour directly to the enemy even if its frontal armour.
If you angle your tank so that the enemy cannot get a 90 degree hit on you then you are making their shell work much harder to do any damage.
This image demonstrates the idea of sloped armour
The actual armour is only 100mm thick but when you slope the armour even just 20 degrees the enemy shell has to travel through another 6mm of armour, sloping it to 50 degrees increases the armour by 55mm something that greatly improves your tanks chances of surviving a hit.
The same principle can be applied to the way your tank faces when engaging an enemy tank, never stay head on with another tank, have your hull angled to that either front corner is pointing directly at the enemy, every hit they land will do less damage to you than a direct hit would have.
It is what makes games like world of tanks so fun because its physics model actually simulates each shot and you can see good players position their tanks so well that enemy shells literally bounce away instead of doing any damage.
You can have a lot of fun with only the base game + the free DLCs
In addition to that, DICE/EA is giving out previously paid-for DLCs for free, one at a time, as part of their "Road to Battlefield 1" campaign.
So in the coming months towards BF1's release you can grab some of the DLCs for free.
I use Avidemux to cut out what I want to make a GIF of. (Remember to set video output to the Mpeg-4 Avc x264). This is the format I find best for both GIFs and YouTube.
Then just upload to GifyCat or similar if you don't want to make them yourself in Ps or whatever.
The quality of the gif is a poor representation of the quality of the vid when using online solutions, but hey, it works.
Seriously, it turns AdBlock into a beast of an extension. Simply find any given element on a web page of your choosing that you don't like, and you can permanently remove whatever you don't like around. I've seen many posts in the past showing things that could be cleaned up on Battlelog, so this should be very useful!

Only takes a few minutes to get your handle on it and how to tweak around with it. Thought some of you would like it!
Edit: I don't know why I went through the effort to block out my username in the picture when I have it proudly displayed in my flair. Must be habit!
Best way to do this which will avoid all worries of other players and the like:
1) Rent a server for a day (like $1.50)
2) Set up an unranked server w/ password
3) Use an EOD bot as shown in this YT vid. You can still use the old EOD if you die or redeploy by using the reverse button first when you turn it on.
4) Use this BF4 lantern app to decode the morse code message.
5) Quit and modify your server to "ranked" and join. Then put in your individual code at the watertower.
I just did the camo last night. Did it in under 15 minutes after setting up the server. I tried on a preexisting server and there were ppl on it and then it disappeared. Just rent a server and do it solo. Really super easy.
Don't know if it's still going on but last week battlefield 1 & 4 were $2.99 from Amazon digital download for PC. I picked up battlefield 4 since I didn't have it on PC yet
EDIT: here is the link for BF1 for $2.99
Am receiving the same violation atm, I can assure you that I don't hack and whether you believe me or not it is probably irrelevant, have submitted a ticket to evenbalance to hopefully get this sorted. Seems that there are a couple of false positives related to Astrill VPN, I use it to watch youtube vids and check facebook occasionally since I live in China. I'm assuming someone's hacked using astrill and some sort of autodetection is just banning everyone who uses it and plays BF4.
I used this VPN here and downloaded "SoftEther VPN Client + VPN Gate Client Plug-in"
The method that worked for me was:
1) Log into the Origin client without the VPN
2) Switch to Offline mode via the menu
3) Connect to Thailand VPN
4) Go back to online mode
5) Go to the store inside of the client to make sure it's correctly putting you in the correct location
6) Go back to your library and hit refresh
Very easy and simple to do.
I'm getting this really annoying error of which I don't really know how to fix. I'd really appreciate some help.
First of all: The error happens in FlyVPN program, not Origin.
Whenever I try and connect to a server (Korea 02 - Seoul for example) there's this list that starts running attempting to login of some sorts. This is the error I'm getting:
I found something about opening ports for VPN, these to be exact: PPTP VPN TCP and UDP port 1723 open and IP port 47 L2TP VPN TCP and UDP port 1701 open and IP port 47.
I did open up these ports in my router, but this did not work. Same error message.
Is anyone else encountering these or similar problems? Does anyone have a fix or atleast explain to me what the problems is/where to look for a possible fix? I'm rather clueless when it comes to matters such as these.
I'm catching up on my reading. If anyone wants a fairly short book to work through until the BF4 release, try Economics in One Lesson. That's the one that got me started on the library that I've amassed over the last year.
in order to get the "DICE LA CAMO" which makes you almost invisible to night scopes you need complete an Easter egg
watch some youtube videos how to open it.
there is also an Android app which can help you get it: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=bf4dveesolver.bf4dveesolver&hl=en
if you need some help getting it , add me to origin "ISR-Asaf" and i'll help you when i'll have time

For the Origin issue, try to pay via the website (https://www.origin.com) instead of the desktop program. The build in webbrowser of Origin had issues with processing payments for me in the past too.
1:29 says it takes 4.8 seconds. That's not instantaneous. Like I said, it's under 10 seconds in Windows 8.
(As an aside, the MS Store was selling the HP Stream 7 tablet for 80 bucks with a $25 MS Store gift card, and probably still are. That thing is a full Windows 8 tablet and it boots in about 4 seconds thanks to Wimboot. It's amazing.)
If you prefer modern setting in your FPS, then BF4 without a question. You won't be waiting for matches to begin in empty lobbies, I think it has anywhere between 15-30k players on PS4 depending on the time of the day that you play.
If you prefer a WW1 setting and do not mind having less gadgets, less weapon customization and less variety of maps, then go for BF1 (these aspects will improve as the map/faction expansions come out).
BF4 is older but it is quite on par when it comes to polish and stability compared to BF1.
Also, if you have a pc capable of running BF4, you can give it a try for free for an entire week https://www.origin.com/esp/en-us/store/free-games/trials
I understand that argument, but there are some of us who can afford (or already have) a decent gaming PC and still really enjoy playing games on consoles. We actually like owning these machines. It's not something that we just settled on just because we can't afford a PC.
I know it sounds crazy but I bought a console because I enjoy the convenience of just sitting back on a couch and playing games in the comfort of my living room. I sit and stare at a computer screen all day for my job. So hopping back onto a desktop computer to "relax" is the very last thing that's on my mind when I get home.
Basically slapping a keyboard and mouse onto my console would completely defeat the purpose of even owning one (for me). Yeah, I could still play with a controller. But being a PC gamer also I know I'd be getting dominated badly. It wouldn't be fun at all for anyone who chooses to use a controller.
I'd say for anyone who absolutely wants to experience Battlefield on the PC: just wait and save up $$$. It might take a few extra weeks or months (heck, Best Buy has a 0% interest credit card you can sign up for). In the end it'll be worth it. You'll be much happier because you won't be stuck playing on a platform you're not completely happy with. At least that's my logic.
I mentioned this on the blog as well, but I feel like I might get a discussion going if I post it here too:
I came to think of something when I first read this. Could it be possible that this is somehow related to Police Warfare? The kickstarter crowdfunded game that was supposed to be made, but was cancelled with unknown reasons. They did say that they were going to return with news, but we still haven't heard anything.

Recording at these settings your PS4 videos will look much better than most of the blurry crap on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IQgcEYLpNyY
Exports at 20mbps, probably overkill for YouTube though.
Researching this issue, it says possible causes are when some driver is not responding to a request.

SweetFX. When I get to my PC I'll give you all the files for it on a zip file and all you have to do is drag and drop them. No hassle with installations or presets or anything.
EDIT: http://www.filedropper.com/battlefield4
Extract that to the root of your BF4 folder (I use 7zip). It only works for 64 bit BF4. Then press scroll-lock in game to toggle the effects on and off.
