Also OP use this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.erdatsai.morsecodeagent
Select the Audio option and place the settings on 20 wpm and the other two on auto. Make sure to A Beginning on Suez since there's the least background noise so the app can detect it easier.
Here's an example of how it looks like when you're doing it (message is from the begenning dogtag). Hope it helps. It will take you less than 2 minutes to get the infiltrator code, not even kidding.
This app can decode Morse in real-time; https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.erdatsai.morsecodeagent as well as send.
Trick with audio leads from radio to phone are the volume levels. Headphone out to line input needs some resisting to not overload the input of your phone. (100ohm short +/- and a 680ohm in line) From phone to mic input, you need 100ohm short +/- and a (variable upto) 10k inline.
edit: I made a mod for my 5R's to use in a phone to get audio from phone fed into radio
I'm on Xbox and I used an android app called Morse Code Agent to do all my morse stuff. I just turned to where the MCOM was on my right to get better audio and I put my turtle beaches up to my speaker although any Stereo sound should work. Also I did it on either Suez or Fao Fortress. Lastly I set the Words per minute to 22 and the frequency to 800 (it changes to 904 but ignore that). I hope it helps.
your code was CFFCF, i decode on pc but on android i use Morse Code Agent app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.erdatsai.morsecodeagent&hl=en
just set the Pitch to 800 HZ and give it the morse to listen more time
I've done it on both, and Xbox makes it easier in that regard. I just used a flash drive for PS4 to get the recordings to my computer, and used an app for A Beginning that sped things up a good bit vs my original run through on Xbox.
I used an android app that records the sound and translates this to text, after some tweaking with the settings it works super fast and easy.
Morse Code Agent. It's on android. It takes a bit getting the settings right as well as good clear sound, but it worked well.
Edit: words
I just figured out how to make it a little easier. Instead or recording a video uploading it playing it back and using a PC to separate the audio to you can transcribe it manually bla bla bla.
I just got an app on my phone. I used this for android I started the decoder, and put the volume up quite high on my headphones and stuck the mic to them and you can see the message appear right there and then!
You can see on the apps visualiser what pitch the morse code is in. On that android app you need to change the words per minute to about 22, and then put the receiver pitch as low as you can.
its on the google play store. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.erdatsai.morsecodeagent I don't know if it is on the app store for IOS
I, myself, can't decode this. But I think you should use an app to decode this. You could use this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.erdatsai.morsecodeagent
I use Morse Code Agent for when they are keying too fast for me.
I used this but it's on Android
