Easy
1) Get a VPN software such as FlyVPN
2) Use the credentials given in the free trial page to login
3) Connect to a Russian server from the list of available servers
4) Login to Steam or Origin (Everything will be in Russian though so I hope you've played CS or Dota to understand a bit)
5) Add preferred game to cart, and proceed to pay
6) Profit!
Basically you exit steam, install a VPN (I used FlyVPN, which is free), connect to Australia, start Steam again, and it will start to finalize the install. Once it's done, exit Steam, start in offline mode with the VPN still connected, and check if you can launch the game. If you can, you did it right. Start the game, disconnect the VPN, BUT STAY IN OFFLINE MODE ON STEAM.
It's $23 USD on Origin Mexico.
I just used this method.
It's just general netsec stuff, nothing Linux-specific. And I just noticed OP's username is FlyVPN, which also happens to be the service they link too. They also have several posts on their reddit profile straight up advertising FlyVPN much less subtly than here. It also explains why this is written like some kind of blog post rather than a reddit post. Basically, this breaks reddiquette.
I also haven't seen anyone getting banned for it in other games and I've also seen screenshots of EA customer support saying it'd be okay to unlock earlier using a VPN. It's just not okay to buy a game via VPN (although many people have done that as well and didn't get banned).
No you will not get banned.. the stance is the same as it was at BF3.. which is basically. "Frowned upon and could pose security risks for yourself, we advise not doing it"
Download FlyVPN Lite, log in using the Free trail login, Select korean VPN, Log in to origin, activate your game, close VPN and download :)
Confirmed to work in the California US. Did the exact same thing.
Currently at 12% =D
Note: I closed and reopened FlyVPN due to it affecting download speeds
Im thinking about using a VPN but I'm not 100% sure how it works. I've downloaded FlyVPN and they have a New Zealand proxy on the list. Is it as simple as connecting to that and then booting up steam?
turn off origin
connect to Korea/Singapore VPN using SoftEther/FlyVPN/ZenVPn (or whatever vpn client you want)
open origin
game should now show nov 16th
disconnect from VPN.
don't close origin
if that doesn't work then i dunno :|
Hi.
If you have FIFA 15 on Origin already, you just need to use Korean VPN and the game will unlock on September 22nd 16:00 UK time
You can use FlyVPN for Korean proxy here:
Or you can follow this guide:
Just turn on VPN, open Origin, the game will start preloading and unlock tommorow, then you can turn off VPN :)
Looks like there are a good few people with this issue over on the steam forums
?s=b086fab1cdf8b589fe560d681ce2ebde&t=2091833&page=2
Using a trial account from FlyVPN seems to be a winner for one or two folks so that might be worth a shot.
If not and you are really stuck I have a nix box running a VPN server in the US that you can use temporarily
> FlyVPN
No server in Myanmar see: , also origin is anal about accessing games in other countries. Source:travel a lot and can play most steam and uplay games easily but no origin games, in have to VPN back to my own country to play.
But that completely defeats the purpose, they are unable to access only Origin games, that too the sanctions ended 7th October.
And No PC gamer should have to pay to game online.
If you don't use the VPN to take advantage of sales in other territories, you have ZERO risk of being banned. If you use it to simply unlock a game you've already purchased, you will not have any issues whatsoever. I've unlocked games via VPN countless times over the years with no problem. Use FlyVPN's free trial to unlock 16 hours early via New Zealand time. It takes less than 5 minutes to do.
Some info for those who don't normally buy from Nuveem and aren't from Brazil:
1) You need a web proxy to complete the transaction on Nuveem, one from hidemyass or any public one works perfectly. Be sure to use it to reach the paypal confirm page and then turn it off entirely before entering paypal details for security reasons. Once you pass the initial check Nuveem won't bother you with restrictions again.
2) You can't use a webproxy for steam as its not browser based, you need to use some sort of VPN when activating your code or it'll tell you its not available for your region. You can activate it for FREE using the FlyVPN trial and the Brazilian identity. You can use any other paid VPN for it as well.
3) After you've activated it once and its in your library you'll never have to deal with that region restriction again.
4) Steam has never banned anyone for this and it'd be PR suicide if they ever did.
i asked myself the same question and just tried it. you can buy the bundle from Bundle Stars if you have a german IP. But you can not activate it on steam. You have to use a VPN in order to activate it. I used FlyVPN and it worked without any problems.
Ehm do you have it on Steam? Its not that hard there are a few Tutorials:
Get FLYVPN (its free trial and they have NEW ZEALAND VPNs)
Download the Client and on Releasetime in New Zealand connect to the New Zealand VPN with FlyVPN
Start Steam and then you should be able to unlock it earlier!
Note: Do not dissconect your VPN while Unlocking and its recommended not playing MP with VPN because of the Ping
Is there any risk using FlyVPN to activate the game as far as your computer security/information compromise goes? Also, what are the steps? I see FlyVpn is free for use up to 3 times a day. Would I sign up, log in, and just use it to activate the game, then turn it off?
Thanks
In the past I have used WTFast and FlyVPN and both have worked great, though the latter isn't a "Gaming VPN".
Sometimes I have problem playing over 3G/LTE connections because of Strict NAT and for poor packet path (ISP issue) and at this time I usually try to play over a VPN. As I previously said, it used to work great. But I am trying to avoid monthly service since the exchange currency is too high nowadays for BRL and USD currencies, which makes it too expensive to pay montly =/
While it's generally true you only hear from complainers, Xiaomi have made newer ones like the RN4 more difficult to unlock than previous phones. The error messages are also cryptic and Xiaomi don't even know how to address them (which has given a lot of grief to people like me).
As far as general unlocking:
Specific for Redmi Note 4:
> I have FlyVPN installed and it's seems to be connected fine. I'm able to browse the web, etc. But when I try to download the movie, it can't connect to any leechers.
You should contact FlyVPN support for assistance on that. Make sure to find out if they allow torrents/P2P on their VPN service, or if the only allow that sort of traffic on certain servers of theirs.
Reading through the terms it looks like they only allow torrents for their VPN services in China. But double-check with their support if that is still accurate.
This didn't work with the VPN the OP used. I'll try it with FlyVPN. You should Warn People that after they delete the hidden file origin crap that they would have to redownload the origin update a long with verifying game DLC installs/Updates.
I believe you can get it 16 hours early? It will be 12am in New Zealand when it's 6am here on the east coast.
I've heard FlyVPN is good. But any VPN that allows you to change IP to New Zealand should work
I do it all the time and have never had issues. Just get a trial for free at FlyVPN, connect to a server in Australia, play Fallout 4 super early, and sign out of Steam to keep playing until the game unlocks in your region. You don't have to stay on the VPN account the whole time. Steam DOES NOT care. They only care if you use a VPN to access regional sales. Then you can get banned. I've done this for so many games on Steam over the years and never had issues. This means that we can play at 7AM eastern time on Monday morning :-)
Some vpn providers offer advanced config (I believe FlyVPN is one of them, can't really remember) which allows to pick which applications and which traffic goes through vpn. Maybe you could check yours to find out if you can do it, you could set Steam to always bypass vpn and you wouldn't have to be bothered about it ever again.
For those having trouble this is 100% working:
Make sure Origin doesn't start up when your PC turns on.
Log out of your PC/Reboot (either works).
Once your PC is logged in, open FlyVPN and connect to the "vpnu" account on the free trial page.
Connect to one of the Korean servers, it may take a few minutes of trying as the accounts are full right now. DO NOT OPEN ORIGIN UNTIL CONNECTED.
Now open FIFA 16 either from the icon on the desktop or open Origin and open FIFA 16 that way.
Success! (Hopefully) Now alt+tab out of the game and disconnect from the VPN.
I can confirm, after a lot of failed attempts and other VPNs (Avast's VPN, FlyVPN, VyperVPM), that this works!
Just follow the guide, you should be able to "un-grey" your Fifa 16 in Origin!
Just make sure to do this before:
You can use a VPN to connect to lets say the UK, and then adding the game to your library. After that, you can play without needing a VPN or anything.
Few friends of mine from Ukraine are playing this way. FlyVPN is what they used. They offer a free service, and considering you need it for like 5 min max. Maybe something to look into for you?
Some VPN providers allow you to do it in their client, FlyVPN for example:
I think you can also do it with Windows firewall rules but I'm not sure.
> 1) VPNs add latency (increased ping) which pros are probably not very fond of
You can set it up so CS:GO doesn't use the VPN, some VPN providers allow you to do it in their client, FlyVPN for example:
There are other ways to do it but that would be the easiest.
The UK gets screwed over so much...
Anyway try this: ?t=227151
It says for Mass Effect 3 but its the same concept of using a proxy. Sadly FlyVPN is not free :(
So, as Titanfall is unlocked/preloaded first in the US try to get a US VPN.
Anyway, ill be trying this method so good luck :)
> (ImagineAHashtag)TitanfallWithdrawall
Depends on what you want to do.
Here is what I would do if I had TFall in my Origin account:
Get FlyVPN or other client [may need test with other clients also!]
Close Origin
Connect to South Korea with FlyVPN and run Origin
Write up [screencap] dates and times for preload & launch
On day of preload again run Origin while connected through FlyVPN. Preload will start
Let it download 10-20 MB while VPN connected and then disconnect VPN. Preload should stop for few seconds, but then start back up with yours full speed
On release date I would again run Origin while connected through FlyVPN. This time I would run game once so it unlocks and starts up.
Close game, close VPN, but keep Origin on and proceed to start TFall again for some gameplay with European brothers & sisters
Edit: There is many ways to do this, e.g. proxy settings, but I have found this to be easiest / fastest for me personally
Quick question, first time using a VPN for the unlock tomorrow.
After checking some other posts, it sounds like the easiest VPN to use is FlyVPN, but I saw that the trial version is only usable for 20 minutes. Is that going to be enough time?
Basically, tomorrow I just activate the VPN to Korean servers, turn on Origin, unlock the game with a small download and I'll be good to play? Can I turn off the VPN after the game has been unlocked so I can play MP without lag? Do I keep the VPN on each time I play?
Very easy and simple to do.
I'm getting this really annoying error of which I don't really know how to fix. I'd really appreciate some help.
First of all: The error happens in FlyVPN program, not Origin.
Whenever I try and connect to a server (Korea 02 - Seoul for example) there's this list that starts running attempting to login of some sorts. This is the error I'm getting:
I found something about opening ports for VPN, these to be exact: PPTP VPN TCP and UDP port 1723 open and IP port 47 L2TP VPN TCP and UDP port 1701 open and IP port 47.
I did open up these ports in my router, but this did not work. Same error message.
Is anyone else encountering these or similar problems? Does anyone have a fix or atleast explain to me what the problems is/where to look for a possible fix? I'm rather clueless when it comes to matters such as these.
it was the same with dragon age II and it will be the same with XCom Enemy Unknown. You can always try the Steam Trick:
Quit steam (or put it in offline mode)
use FlyVPN to establish a connection to the US (free version is fine)
start Steam, install game
start Game
Worked on Dragon Age II (Not my idea, it came from PJ86
Yo tengo 50mb y anda excelente, recomendadisimo.
Bah it removed my comments showing links to actual EU, NA, and Asian Division keys..
Oh well, do whatever, not my cash ;) Simply warning people that if you buy this key you will need a VPN to unlock it. Google FlyVPN and set it up, should take you no more then 2 minutes. Exit out of UPlay, start FlyVPN, log into the UK, start Uplay, relogin and activate key, quit Uplay, quit FlyVPN, your good to go.
there are free VPNs like VPNGate or commercial ones like FlyVPN.
You need to create an account on and download their launcher.
First, open your VPN software and choose a Russian VPN, then open the russian launcher and click on the green button and when you see XIGNCODE splash screen on the lower right corner of your screen, you can disconnect your VPN and play normally. The Russian IP Block is active only on the launcher, not the game itself.
P.S: The NA\EU version should be available in the first half of 2017, after Neowiz will release their new update on January in Korea.
you could use a Vpn service. To let them think you are still in Korea or An Asian country. I heard quite some people use kinguin or g2play.
On those sites you can also see the region locks of the game keys. They have a lot more experience with this kind of thing.
FlyVPN is a free Vpn service which you can use. Anyway you should be carefull with this kind of thing.
Do you just have to log in on a VPN to unlock the game the turn it off or will you have to play the game on a VPN until it comes out in your timezone?
Also FlyVPN has a free trial you can use 3 times a day with out paying or needing payment info. Just make an account.
Same here. Tried 2 VPNs inclusing FlyVPN. Tried deleting a few Origin folders, repair, update game, move folders, restarted countless times.
Waiting is my next option.
If that doesn't work, a full uninstallation of Origin then installing while connected to the VPN is the last thing I can think of.
Do let me know what works for you and I'll do the same.
FlyVPN is free and gives access to some US servers. Connect to one of them, go to the uplay page (preferably in incognito mode), create a new account, get the code, disconnect from the vpn, use the code on your main uplay account. If you need an email address you can use
Worked, unlocking the game right now on Steam. I'm in germany, connected to Australia with a free account at FlyVPN.
I set up the VPN connection in the windows settings instead of using a client. Those clients never work for me.
Update
It is decrypted, patched and started up, though when I disable the VPN connection I can't get into the game. As I feared, the European servers are not up yet. You can not connect to them.
Update 2
Now connected to the servers via VPN, not a pleasant experience but I can do the Prologue now.
Purchased a Nuuvem copy through a Braizlian verified PayPal account on March 9th.
The Division key I received for Uplay was region locked. Keys purchased earlier had different levels of region lock.
I made a temporary UPlay password change & using FlyVPN Trial I logged into the UPlay launcher to activate the key, logged out of UPlay & closed the VPN.
Key activated fine, standard copy & all DLC season pass etc is attached to my UPlay account.
Playing in US.
NOTE: Using a VPN has the risk of making public any login info you are using.
As a precaution be sure to log out of all important accounts, sites, Steam, etc. before use.
Make a temporary password before using a VPN for any account you need to log into during the VPN usage, restore the password once you're done with the VPN.
Well, I used FlyVPN for BF4, but the free version of vyprvpn also seems very solid. VPNs with free trial version or which are completely free are good to go, you don't need to spend any money. Keep in mind on the night/day of release to log in to a VPN a little bit earlier because servers will be kinda overloaded :D
I disable everything from FlyVPN as soon as the game is activated, so no issues there. I would only use it as a temporary solution, not as being permanently connected via VPN (the free trial will disconnect you after 20 minutes anyway).
Find VPN service that provides New Zealand based server
On 10th at time X exit Steam
Connect VPN to NZ server
Start Steam and run game
Wait until game is booted to main menu, then alt tab to windows
Put Steam into offline mode and shutdown VPN
Alt tab back into the game
Profit
Note! Most VPN services costs something, but there is free ones like FlyVPN with limited server selections
Download FlyVPN Lite, and log in using the login details on the Free Trial page for 'vpnu'. Then you can select the Mexican VPN and open Origin and buy the game like normal.
I tried FlyVPN just a minute ago, but it doesn't seem to change my IP address. What I mean is that even after I start it flyvpn icon start shifting from red, blue, green and than stays at blue. But most of the stuff stays unavailable to me, while when using Hola I can get to buying the game and paying with paypal and only then it says I'm not eligible or something. So it seems to me FlyVPN isn't working in my case. Anything special I should do?
Go VPN route. FlyVPN offers a trial 3x20mins a day and got a brazil server on offer. It worked for me when I bought a game yesterday, no problems there. And if it is a game you can see on sale even without VPN active than you do not need it at all. Some deals are only visible to SA though, for those VPN is needed.
I used a VPN (FlyVPN free trial) and bought the key on Nuuvems website, payed through paypal. Got the key instantly and I activated the key on the Social Club and downloaded the installer, and I could choose English as a language during the installation. And yes, it worked fine. It's in my social club accounts game library.
Wow... I'm really surprised. Have you tried using a VPN service to login to steam and make it think you're in Brazil? FlyVPN for example has free trial account you could use. Let me know if you manage, I'm wondering now.
Worst case scenario is that you start from 0% next time, if Origin is stupid and don't save progress properly.
Also there is other VPN clients out there, better than FlyVPN. I recommend it just because newbie friendliness to certain degree.
Click the I and see if there is any option there.
A quick google came up with this
Seems the top comment is struggling with SoftEther too. Worked fine for me :S Reply suggests FlyVPN works. Others suggest your payment may not have been processed yet.
WTFast is cheaper and probably better, although it's debatable whether the premium option is worth it. Sometime's they have some server issues which can get annoying (I used them when I was playing BnS KR which is heavily ping dependent and was thus extremely noticeable), I would try out WTFast's free trial first. If that doesn't work for you try out FlyVPN. With either one of them though there should be a pretty large decrease in ping.
Yes, it's free.
Guide:
At the "Archeage Account Registration" step, you will need to use a VPN in Russia. FlyVPN and VPNGate are both free.
English patch (do not use the one in the guide, it is out of date):
You do not need to use the VPN for anything other than registering your account, downloading and playing the game from a US IP address works for now.
Winrar!
Came through earlier today after a long wait but used FlyVPN to connect to Steam via a Brazilian IP and it activated. Logged back out and into my Steam account without the IP and I'm downloading it like any other game.
Worth mentioning that once activated its a normal copy in whatever language you use steam in :)
I bought a US key today, from GMG. (tried with Hotspotshield but the purchase wouldn't complete, worked with FlyVPN, Paypal as the checkout method and my billing address for GMG set to USA).
Redeemed the key while still on the VPN, and after disconnecting it's working perfectly fine, and appears in my account history as "South Park: Stick of Truth" (I believe the censored versions have (AU) on the end, not yet far enough to know if it's censored - but I really doubt it)
Unless the routing your ISP takes is particularly bad you aren't going to get much improvement out of a VPN service. Considering FlyVPN gave you about 50 I would suspect most everything else will give you about 50.
Having said that, the other frequently used alternative is WTFast. (Which advertises improved routing)
Also, as a note, paid VPN services/servers generally perform better than free services/servers. That doesn't always mean you'll get a better ping (although sometimes it does), but you will certainly get a more stable experience which should lower the rubberbanding frequency.
I used the Philippines thru FlyVPN. I've done it for a couple of games. Here is what you do:
I didn't order the Digital Deluxe yet, I'm still waiting for the refund.
But for the regular version I used FlyVPN, but you can use a proxy from the Hide My Ass proxy list and disconnect from the proxy right before you give any personal information.
if anything, use a Russian VPN to make your account. It'll only cost you $75 USD, rather than $160 if you make your account with your US ISP.
FlyVPN can be used temporarily to make the account, after that you can use it anywhere.
Same, I bought my own dedicated korean IP from flyVPN, I used them during last CBTs as well to lower my ping. Where did you get yours? I might be interested in trying it to see if its better than FlyVPN.
Alright so my experience so far and what maybe others can troubleshoot from it:
Unofficial mirror gave me another error other than IP Block at downloader. Using Official Mirror 2 worked perfectly instead.
FlyVPN was a hassle, 3 a day which I capped by debugging my launcher, super slow and that password, argg. Use VPNGate instead, works perfectly.
WASH / HASH error at 10% confirmed. Unlike others, my download speed promptly capped tho.
EDIT: HASH / WASH every 10% + 1%. So like at 10%, at 21%, at 32%, at 43% at 54% at 65% at 76% at 87% and at 98%
Use the free version of FlyVPN. They have built in, safe to use proxies to places like Japan and Korea where the game will unlock first. It's limited to something like 20 minutes use at a time and 3 total times using it in a day.
should be plenty of time because while connected to your Korean VPN you just need to open Origin, login, and launch the game one time (by actually joining a server, say in Asia, or anywhere else). Then you can turn off the VPN and the game will stay activated unless you restart your system.
If it's anything like BF3 the servers for most countries were up and running well before the game was officially unlocked in those regions where the servers were located (with plenty of other VPN bandits playing early).
*note you very well may not even have to join a server, I think with BF3 the game went through its activation procedure before it even spawned a battlelog window in your browser
> 1. You will have to download the program FlyVPN from the official homepage After the download and installation is done you will need to open the program. > 2. On the FlyVPN homepage you will have to click on Free trial and scroll down to the bottom of the page. There you will find free access information that will change every 20 minutes. > 3. Now you will have to put this info into the log in screen of the FlyVPN program. > 4. After you are connected you will find a list of servers from the US and Asia. > 5. Now you will have to click on the tab USA, and chose an American server. > 6. Now log out of Origin and back in while connected the US server and load up Fifa 14.
Once Fifa 14 is running you can disconnect from the VPN, Hope this helped!
~~It's not working for me. Perhaps because I'm in a different country? Can you send me one too, please?~~
Edited: I managed to get it using FlyVPN to change my proxy for USA, I think it doesn't work in some countries.
Alternatively, FlyVPN () do a reusable free trial. You get up to two free 20-minute sessions per day. You have to download their VPN software, and the available slots are limited, but I've never had trouble connecting. As long as you know what you want, you can just connect, buy your games from US sites and disconnect.
Copied from my post in a similar thread:
Confirmed to work in the California US. Did the exact same thing.
Currently at 12% =D Note: I closed and reopened FlyVPN due to it affecting download speed
Now at 20%
Just look here. It may be full tomorrow but we'll see.
EDIT: FlyVPN isn't very reliable and will probably be full. Use this instead.
I may be a bit late, but for those in Europe who haven't got Origin authentication: 1. Download and install, for example FlyVPN. 2. Log in (trial login/password on website, changes every 20 minutes, may need to click several times in order to log in). 3. Choose some US server and connect to it. 4. Run Origin, try to play ME3 in order to get authentication. After this you are done and can play the game. This tutorial is somewhat copied from some bioware forums. As far as I know this method is completely legal and nobody has been banned for this.
It means the game is not available in your region. You can however work around that with a proxy or VPN service (for example FlyVPN. You only need that to buy the game, download and key activation works without it.
Oof that’s gonna be a little difficult because it can only be watched on the actual WeTV app (not Tenecent which is the international version of the WeTV app)
WeTV can only be downloaded if it’s not geoblocked in your area. Since I’m in the USA I had to log out of my iCloud, make a new iCloud with Thailand as the region, download the WeTV app, then log back into my real iCloud, and use a VPN to watch it. Luckily FlyVPN is really good and it’s free. Let’s you connect a couple times per day for free.
You could always use a free vpn (like FlyVPN) if you didn't want to have to resort to paying for one and it'll give you access to the titles you want to watch. I use a vpn for Viki and IQIYI for the titles I can't get.
I used FlyVPN to watch Remember 15 on Viu. Different platform but it’s free so it doesn’t hurt to try if it works.
I know that if you’re using a pc browser and not an iPhone you can try opera browser, comes with a VPN and it’s free. I’ve heard some users on here use that but since I mainly watch on my phone I haven’t tried it.
For those of you have IQIYI but not in your country, FlyVPN have free servers in Bangkok and Taiwan which will allow you to watch it. To get the free servers put "FREE" in the search box of the vpn app.
What you then do is clear cookies on the iqiyi website (this doesn't work on the app). Then start the episode playing. Only once it's doing that do you log in. The episode will continue playing. If you log in before clicking the episode to start then the episode will disappear.
This works 100% each and every time for me. I've suggested this workaround to a few others and it's also worked for them.
It means you can watch the uncut version legally.
Disclaimer - I'm not affiliated or associated with FlyVPN in any way. I purely mention them as they're the only vpn I've found to bypass the iqiyi website 👍🏻
FlyVPN have free servers for Bangkok and Vietnam. If you use these you can access it on iqiyi (make sure you clear cookies first (this only works via website not app) and then start the episode playing. Once it's playing THEN sign in - if you do it beforehand the episode will disappear) 👍🏻
This is going to be a little complicated! First of all, do you watch on phone or on computer? Because it will be easier on the computer.
I watch on my phone using a free VPN called “FlyVPN,” setting it to Thailand. The tricky part was download an app which was not available in the USA App Store. So I had to sign out of my iCloud account, make a new iCloud account where my territory is set to Thailand, download the Viu app where this show streams, sign out of the Thailand iCloud, and sign back in to my regular iCloud.
If you watch on the computer you can get a VPN for PC browser and watch directly on the Viu website.
You can watch for free with ads but I think the quality is better with the paid version. The only regions this show is available in is Thailand, Philippines, and Hong Kong.
It's called FlyVPN. They allow a certain number of servers for free (type "free" in the search box to get the full list.) I use the free Bangkok one or the Vietnamese one. Just be sure to clear your cookies before you try and then log in once you've started playing the show. That way you shouldn't have any issue getting it to play 👍🏻
Try FlyVPN. Good yearly paid packages with a lot of different servers to choose from based on requirements and pretty reliable connection all the time.
Had no issues with low internet speed or whatsoever. Stable performance throughout.
Hmmmm….I would say Viki is pretty good. It has all the short Korean BLs, all the HIStorys and also quite a few Japanese BLs. It also has some Thai BLs. You would need a VPN for some of the series and I am frustrated each week that they do not pay their subbers so subtitles are not instant when the series are released. I also had a WeTV subscription but got rid of that because most of the BL content was not available in my country. I also got an Express VPN paid subscription but will be ditching that since it gives me Indonesian content for Thailand. The only VPN that gives me Thai content for Thailand is FlyVPN and that is with a free subscription. I will probably get a paid subscription for that. The advantage that of the WeTV subscription is that I could download series but I can’t do that with Viki.
I find that FlyVPN works the best. They seem to have the most servers and update them often. Streaming services will start to recognize a VPN IP address after a while. I have no financial stake in promoting FlyVPN. I’ve just tried many VPN services and run into many blocked VPN errors. Was happy to find something reliable.
Unless you want to start looking into bootlegging movies, your best legal option may be using a multihop VPN.
For example, if you use JustWatch and change your country to South Korea, you can see that Oldboy (I’m hoping you wanted to watch the 2003 Park original) is available on Netflix. If you use a multihop VPN service like FlyVPN and set your location to South Korea, you could then watch it from your home.
It’s not impossible, but trickier to set up a VPN on your router to allow you to watch movies on your streaming device like a Chromecast or Apple TV.
Just got this done after a couple of hours of tinkering with different VPNs etc.

Hope that saves you a couple of hours!
Just get a VPN app and connect to a server in China. The app I use is FlyVPN, they give 3 free 20 minute trials each day for all servers of their premium service.
But I made a post last year with some details Apple Maps China
There is certainly no such thing as a free unrestricted VPN. You can use some for free, but often with limited features, limited hosting locations, etc. Last time I used a VPN it was FlyVPN, but using sketchy shit like that may actually be more risky than not using a VPN, depending on what your goal is. If your goal is to play games while your VPN is active you are almost certainly going to have to cough up some money.
