I usually post my books on r/yaoi, but some of y’all might like them! I'm a guy writing yaoi-inspired erotica but from an actual realistic male perspective. My series all take place simultaneously in the same fantasy world and influence each other! This is one of three ongoing series I am currently writing.
>From Book I:
>
>Elrus, the kingdom of knighthood, honor, and fierce tradition. A culture as immovable as the ancient stone cliffs it calls home, there is no room in this society for sexual exploration.
>
>Heath Vorsal is at the height of his career. Influential, wealthy, and a prodigy with the sword, the young knight has ascended to the highest imperial rank. Dispatched to investigate a sinister power growing in the south, he is a representative of Elrus to the world…but none know his deepest secret.
>
>Smoldering, unquenchable lust for a young male peasant.
>
>Today, seduced and ensnared by inexplicable magic, his forbidden yearning is thrust into the open. Bound by shackles of desire, Heath will soon be forced to accept how utterly powerless he truly is.
Mystery solved >!the photo says ต้าว and the reason I couldn’t find it in a dictionary is because it’s slang/cutesy baby talk based on the word เจ้า. There’s a good explanation here if anyone is curious https://hinative.com/questions/14456612?locale=en-US !<
I thought I tried that, and it didn't work, but maybe I went about it the wrong way. I have NordVPN, so it's not even a free one, so I was expecting better from it...
Where do you get the direct link to the episodes? Is it given by some kind souls on Reddit ?
Oof that’s gonna be a little difficult because it can only be watched on the actual WeTV app (not Tenecent which is the international version of the WeTV app)
WeTV can only be downloaded if it’s not geoblocked in your area. Since I’m in the USA I had to log out of my iCloud, make a new iCloud with Thailand as the region, download the WeTV app, then log back into my real iCloud, and use a VPN to watch it. Luckily FlyVPN is really good and it’s free. Let’s you connect a couple times per day for free.
You could always use a free vpn (like FlyVPN) if you didn't want to have to resort to paying for one and it'll give you access to the titles you want to watch. I use a vpn for Viki and IQIYI for the titles I can't get.
Adding my experience here: I subscribe to iQiyi but was in the UK last week and couldn't access my subscription. The following only worked on my laptop, not my phone: I used my VPN, NordVPN, and connected to a USA server. Then, using Chrome, I Googled "love in the air ep 6 iqiyi" and was presented with a direct link to the episode. I was able to watch.
NOTE: I post the weekly on-air threads for LITA and have updated all past ep threads with direct links to episodes on iQiyi, and will do this for all remaining episodes. Thanks to u/K-DramaDonna for these tips.

I have tried that one but even then IQYI blocked the vpn. I set the vpn, cleared cookies, logged in to iqyi and then clicked a direct link.. Maybe I'll try one more time with a different country? I use NordVPN as I have a membership, but also tried Flyvpn, both didn't work. I'll have one more play though, I am so keen to watch the hot stuff properly!
Where were you last month when I was trying to watch Remember 15 on Viu?! You are such a sweetheart for taking the time to make this post for you fellow BL watchers who need help accessing overseas content. I must have DMed half a dozen people on here to find out what their VPN methods were lol.
FlyVPN is godsend for me because it’s free, it works, and luckily I don’t use a VPN that much that I would surpass the 3 free trials per day that they give you (after that it’s paid).
It’s funny because I actually discovered FlyVPN because of the fact that one of the bigger VPN companies are having issues with their Thailand server. Either Nord, Shark, or Express.
If any of you need help downloading streaming apps that are not available in your country, what I did on an iPhone is back up to my iCloud, sign out of my iTunes/iCloud, make a new iCloud/iTunes entering Thailand as my region, downloading the apps, signing out of the Thailand iCloud account, and signing back into my regular iCloud.
This way I was able to get Viu, WeTV (not the USA equivalent which is Tenecent) and some other apps. Why download WeTV when Tenecent is available in my country? Because there are some shows which are still not available on Tenecent, and are only on WeTV, even with a VPN. I watched (non BL) Mafia Guns and Freaks starring Fluke, Joong, and James Su.
I also heard from one of our users that I DMed that Opera Browser comes with a free built in VPN so that’s worth a shot too. I mainly use my phone so I haven’t tried it.
Amazon Prime JP has released all the eps of More than words in one go, which was something that i didn`t see coming.
This is the link where it can be watched in Amazon Prime:
https://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B0B8QLHYPW
Being released in Amazon Prime JAPAN means that it wouldn`t be available for interfans, with the exception of people who know Japanese.
The reason why i have done this post was not only because of this. I planned to make this post earlier but real life stuff keep me busy. I will also have not choice but to make the next post related to BL anime tomorrow.
The main reason why i made this post is to announce the fact that as i guessed, this drama will be fantranslated by Furritsu, who other people who like to watch Japanese BLs/jdramas know they also translated:
- Kamisama no ekohikii,
- KIMI NO KOTO DAKE MITE ITAI
- BOKU MO AITSU MO SHINRO DESU
- FUDANSHI BARTENDER NO TASHINAMI
Furritsu finished translating the first ep of More than words already.
The info to where their translation of More than words can be found is easily accessible among the most recent comments made in MDL.
I am planning to also made a separate poll (after the poll i will made for Minato's laundromat) to include More than words too after Furritsu finishes translating the drama.
For those of you have IQIYI but not in your country, FlyVPN have free servers in Bangkok and Taiwan which will allow you to watch it. To get the free servers put "FREE" in the search box of the vpn app.
What you then do is clear cookies on the iqiyi website (this doesn't work on the app). Then start the episode playing. Only once it's doing that do you log in. The episode will continue playing. If you log in before clicking the episode to start then the episode will disappear.
This works 100% each and every time for me. I've suggested this workaround to a few others and it's also worked for them.
It means you can watch the uncut version legally.
Disclaimer - I'm not affiliated or associated with FlyVPN in any way. I purely mention them as they're the only vpn I've found to bypass the iqiyi website 👍🏻
FlyVPN have free servers for Bangkok and Vietnam. If you use these you can access it on iqiyi (make sure you clear cookies first (this only works via website not app) and then start the episode playing. Once it's playing THEN sign in - if you do it beforehand the episode will disappear) 👍🏻
It's called FlyVPN. They allow a certain number of servers for free (type "free" in the search box to get the full list.) I use the free Bangkok one or the Vietnamese one. Just be sure to clear your cookies before you try and then log in once you've started playing the show. That way you shouldn't have any issue getting it to play 👍🏻
I had the same problem with the Viki app detecting my VPN when I watch content that is blocked in my location. I use NordVPN and usually connect to Australia but the Viki app detects it everytime. However, when I switch to the US it's okay.
Are you able to try connecting to a different location using your VPN? If not, then maybe try a free trial of a different vpn and see if that works.
Thanks! Google had the meaning from different cultures but I didn't know yours. 🤣 Plus, recollections of this childhood favorite book really got me confused.
I bought Vol. 1 and 2 through Amazon Kindle.
GagaOOLala, Viki, IQIYI, Netflix, ExpressVPN, Lezhin, calendars, novels, manga, stickers, etc maybe $150 USD a month on average.
For anyone curious about learning Thai I use Quizlet premium, Anki, Evernote premium, private lessons for 2.5 hours a week, study books, etc about $180 a month.
there are some korean bl novels that have been officially translated into thai including semantic error
And kiss me liar novel has official english translation:. https://www.amazon.com/Kiss-Me-Liar-2-book-series/dp/B09CZ5K6BL/ref=nodl_?dplnkId=647c966e-280f-44ca-a780-9bac44e7a560
But It's set in america and one of the MLs is american. Since SE is set in korea and both MLs are korean, it might not appeal to western readers as much?
I've been using PureVPN for years. It's probably around $50 for three years. In fact, as a European, a VPN is required in order to view iQIYI. I was stoked that KP is globally available so I watched it on my phone ~~constantly~~ now and then!
I've had success using ExpressVPN. I had to experiment with which country to connect to (India works best for me), but now that I seem to have figured it out, I am able to watch an episode and only have to restart Netflix/reconnect the VPN once or twice during the 80–90 minute runtime.
Oh! And this is a BL subreddit so I was mostly thinking about that, but you *have* to get this GL series, it's great!
The app is called “AMM 心娱” - App Store - Google Play Store
It seems like the app has poor reviews with most complaining about it being unstable, but I’m not surprised lol.
Hmmmm….I would say Viki is pretty good. It has all the short Korean BLs, all the HIStorys and also quite a few Japanese BLs. It also has some Thai BLs. You would need a VPN for some of the series and I am frustrated each week that they do not pay their subbers so subtitles are not instant when the series are released. I also had a WeTV subscription but got rid of that because most of the BL content was not available in my country. I also got an Express VPN paid subscription but will be ditching that since it gives me Indonesian content for Thailand. The only VPN that gives me Thai content for Thailand is FlyVPN and that is with a free subscription. I will probably get a paid subscription for that. The advantage that of the WeTV subscription is that I could download series but I can’t do that with Viki.
May I give a suggestion? :D Try using DaVinci Resolve for editing, it's an amazing software, and the free verison is super powerful (you won't need the pro one at all!)
Here's the kindle bundle for anyone interested: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B088H5C3CZ?ref_=dbs_p_mng_rwt_ser_shvlr&storeType=ebooks
If you can't find any further volumes anywhere, it is unlikely anyone will. This is what I hate with mangas. I get so interested and hyped up and then I leave at a very bad spot because further vol/chapters have not been released or translated yet and I end up forgetting about it for months/years and eventually lose interest.
interesting…when I turn on Express VPN set to Thailand, it never takes me to Thai WeTV.….it used to when I first signed up. nowadays I think it takes me to WeTv indonesia because when I check google, it gives my location as Indonesia. I then thought that WeTV was using the google location to determine where I was…somehow. I am convinced that express vpn gives Indonesia as a location because if the large number of users in Indonesia setting their locations to Thailand. Now I am not sure because when I set ExpressVPN to Vietnam, I am taken to Vietnamese google but wetv Vietnam….IDK…
I use NordVPN too but every time I use it the list of shows etc on Netflix changes. I realized that certain shows won’t play/be displayed and a notification for DRM pops up on my browser. When I disconnect from Nord the full content list comes back. They are definitely working on trying to stop VPN use on their platform.
I use NordVPN and Netflix has never detected it. To be fair, I don't often use it for Netflix and maybe my experience would be different if I used it daily...
Have you tried clearing cache and any netflix cookies in your browser?
I find that FlyVPN works the best. They seem to have the most servers and update them often. Streaming services will start to recognize a VPN IP address after a while. I have no financial stake in promoting FlyVPN. I’ve just tried many VPN services and run into many blocked VPN errors. Was happy to find something reliable.
I hope you're not asking for scanlations, because the cover you linked is from the official English translation that was released earlier this year by Square Enix Manga. It's available here as both paperback and digital. Please support officially released novels and manga, since that actually puts money in the original creator's pocket!
Hi! I bought Book 1 on Amazon, here’s the link if you want it! Link
In my experience, the translation is okay but watching the series beforehand would bring much help into understanding the context of what the novel is saying. It’s til Chapter 31 only.
A modern classic! I think FAKE still holds up well even today! Did you know that Sanami Matoh made a continuation, that's available in English as an e-manga. I haven't read it myself yet, but I hopefully will soon.
I am trying to learn Thai! I’m pretty good at languages, so there are a fee things that I picked up just by watching bl, but I also downloaded a few apps to help.
I use Mondly with a premium subscription. I think it’s $15 usd a month, and it’s really food for vocab. There’s also a feature that grades your accent.
For learning the alphabet, I’m using an app called Write Thai (or Write it! Thai). You learn the pronunciation of the letters as well as how to write them.
I also purchased this book to help learn writing the letters. My writing looks like a 5-year-old still 😆
I recommend getting Cracking Thai Fundamentals
https://www.amazon.com/dp/1514899469?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
This book explains why the Thai alphabet is the way it is. It's quite fascinating. You still have to memorize what it used when, but it takes part of the mystery out of why this is the case.
I am trying to learn Thai. Still in the early stages of learning the Thai alphabet, tones and grammar. I'm about halfway through the book "Cracking Thai Fundamentals ". I'm learning so much beyond just memorizing the characters and rules. I highly recommend it as a resource.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/1514899469?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Other resources I'm using include ThaiPod 101 and Learn Thai from a White Guy.
Cherry Magic, a Japanese BL, was based on webcomics that have been serialized into novels and are currently being translated into English. You can find the first two on Amazon in the USA. https://www.amazon.com/Cherry-Magic-Thirty-Virginity-Wizard/dp/1646090292/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=cherry+magic&qid=1618538788&sr=8-1
Found book 1 on Amazon. Is this the one you need?
