This happened to me last year in the same area when I went camping with my wife, they don't care if you're doing a bonfire or barbecue, it's just that you can't light fires on the ground/sand.
Hatta, FUJ, RAK, etc. it's usually not a problem (so far). What we've always done is that we wait for the ashes to cool down, pick it up with a shovel, trashbag it and dispose properly along with our other garbage - but I hard time convincing the authorities that's what we do last year because of the other trash-bags (aka humans).
If you go deeper into the desert, I guess you can get away with it, but it's still not advisable due to the environmental impact. Depending on how often you do bonfires and/or camping (we do it quite often in this weather), I suggest you get one of those small portable fire-pits from Ace or one of these.
AED 2,000 is a shitload of money to pay for this type of fine, but now you know! Wouldn't it be nice if the laws were more transparent? Yep. I can also suggest that you visit the Al Madam station and try to get the fine waived (telling them it's your first time, you're new, whatever). Also, the fine isn't linked to your car, as far as I know. I think it's linked to your license, so you can pay for it whenever before you need to renew - don't quote me on that, check up on it.
Good luck!

So I looked it up (based on the ISBN in the image) and it seems like you have the 3rd edition and not the 5th edition that's on Amazon. If you do look at the 3rd edition on amazon it shows that the price for a new book starts from $471.50. I tried to see if I order it what the shipping cost would be but it won't deliver it to UAE for that price I think. I picked the $496.24 and for that price they will delivery but after including the shipping it will cost you $528.23 in total. That's about AED1940.
I went back to the Amazon page to see the ($49.99) 5th edition book from your image. Now here cheapest option which delivers to UAE was the $50 one but it has $40.49 shipping. It will cost you $90.49 (about AED332) in total. Btw, you'll see it can go up to $738.19 for the book with $41.99 for shipping from another seller.
edited: approx AED price

Encrypts every page by default, removing the possibility of injection attacks like a man in the middle modifying a website between the webserver (let's say Google) and your browser.
Everybody should install this plugin as a matter of routine security.
And install privacy badger (from the same foundation) as a matter of course as well. This makes it much harder for websites (like Google, Amazon and Facebook) to track you accross the web.
Try this to see how secure your browser is right now:
It's normal to fail the fingerprinting part. The red X next to the Does your browser unblock 3rd parties that promise to honor Do Not Track? is a good result. Any website can promise to honour "do not track" requests and then track you anyway.
That's a wrong inflated claim.
According to similarweb data of lovindubai, (which usually quote an average 1.7X of real traffic - which means, the real traffic is only approx 60% of what you see in similarweb), You have around 776K visits/sessions per month. The Pageview per session is a bad 1.28 pages.
Assuming that a user consumes content 4 times a month, we are talking about less than 200K users. If you normalize it using the 1.7X analogy, we are talking about 120K users a month.
With regard to page views, using the same methodology, you are anywhere between 600-700K PVs.
Now, your videos are embedded in pages. So pages get served when someone consumes video. So your video consumption rate definitely ought to be less than 600-700K because that is the number of pages you serve in a month.
It's ok to claim 1.5X of actual traffic. But the numbers you are claiming here are way off.
Potential question: How do you startuphameed, qualify to make this analysis and say this?
My Answer: I managed a content portal that did 80M sessions (comscore authenticated) that had the most sought after video content ( OTT/VOD/Live) in India
In the UK all games are free via BBC iPlayer and ITV. You just need a VPN to access. You can stream through browser or get the apps for mobile devices.
Because :
Free VPN are probably honey-pots (probably intelligence agencies and hackers) they use lesser encryptions, Slow and full of ads Not many locations to choose from
There is nothing called Free VPN if you ask me, because they need to pay rent to servers and salaries for software developers and such. It is not possible to provide free vpn, unless, the speed of the free vpn is throttled, or stuffed with ads and scripts and such and if they are honeypots. Of course there are legit free vpns like Cyberghost but you have slow speed and waiting times and not much locations and such.
I use PIA vpn 24/7 because VPNs are not just for unblocking websites, they give me max Etisalat speed when I torrent and they hide my ip from websites and forums and protects me from WiFi hackers. I have tried paid Hotspot Shield, hidemyass, TigerVPN, the end, I took PIA VPN because its fast and very stable and their apps for devices are good and they use good encryption and have a killswitch for their app and you can use upto 5 simultaneous connection.
I used kcal for three months. They were reliable and never missed a delivery. The food was fine, given the constraints of a low-calorie, low-carb diet.
I lost about 6kg in that time, which was in line with expectations. According to the body analysis machine, that loss was entirely fat, i.e. I retained (and even slightly increased) muscle mass, which was the intention.
In the end I stopped using it because I got fed up with being constrained to the food they provide. You just have to eat what you are given and that gets a bit tedious. It is also quite expensive.
It taught me important things about nutrition though and now I manage my diet myself using myfitnesspal.
The price for this WD Black SSD 1TB for PS5 is for AED499, same thing is for AED899 at major retailers.
I like JP . I like the way Omar approaches his business.
But souq is a 10 year old business that's active across MENA . They get about 30M visits compared to 1.2 M of jadopado Source
So, logically speaking , your belief is not rational :)
Souq is sick in tech.. They were very lucky to have no competition for a long time. The group had the history of selling almost a wordpress blog aka maktoob to yahoo for $100M ? . They had that cash. They also raised 2-3 rounds of founding without much difficulty ( not sure what they did with that cash though )
Ecommerce is 20% tech and 80% investment driven play . So even if you have a sexy product , you need loads of cash to scale. Omar had a tough time raising it. I personally feel that if someone funded him $100M 5 years back, he would have played a good game against souq.

OP, I'm extremely sorry that I can't help you with this situation as my advice is unqualified and might make things worse, but you should try and get some support and a listener on 7 Cups of Tea. It's an online thing where you can talk to a slightly more qualified listener.
Best of luck OP
Edit: why the fuck am I downvoted for offering help?
Because publishers follow UK price here since most of it comes from there. The workaround is to get one of your Indian friend to order it using her/his Indian debit card/ net-banking from Flipkart to her/his Indian address or to the address of someone who is likely to visit Dubai soon from India. Ministry of Utmost happiness costs AED 20 there
Basically, I suggest you buy some 5-10 books that you want at one go and nicely ask someone to carry ;)
The reason: Publishers treat India differently because of the volume of book sales and lower printing cost. Hence, it is cheaper.
Muslims pray five times a day - before dawn, midday, afternoon, dusk and night.
What you hear are prayer calls (Adhan) to summon Muslims for their mandatory prayers. The country you live in is an Islamic state which follows the rules and practices of its religion, one of which requires muezzins (the guy whose voice you're hearing) to call his fellow Muslims for prayer.
I don't know what you can do about it, aside from maybe moving away to a place where there aren't many mosques. If the calls are deafeningly loud in your neighborhood, maybe a few of you could very politely request the imam at the mosque to adjust the volume but really, the idea is to wake Muslims up for prayer time (and the start of their day) so keep that in mind.
> the internet completely disconnects (Has highest signal but not really connected to the internet)
-The strength of the wifi signal doesnt tell you how strong ur internet is. It only tells you between your laptop and the router.
-Sometimes its not etisalats fault. Sit with your laptop next to the router with cleat path and test the speed using speedtest.net and using fast.com. Someitmes steams servers cant give you the full speed.
-Another thing to do is change the wifi password and make sure no one using the network is torrenting or consuming ur bandwidth. Check for old wires and if ur router is old replace it with new one.
Bro I just bought myself a minimalist wallet from amazon after thorough research and have found what is perfect for UAE dirham notes plus 5 cards .

You should absolutely raise the chargeback, but note:
If the transaction was authorised with 3D Secure ("Verified by Visa", "Mastercard Secure Code"), Visa / Mastercard's systems will automatically reject the chargeback, as 3DS shifts the full responsibility and liability to the customer.
If I understand correctly, however, you did not authorise the transaction, though. If the merchant has no proof of authorisation (PIN, signature, 3DS) they may stall the process, but will in the end lose.
Another reason that you should file the dispute is that Visa and Mastercard keep track of all the disputes filed against merchants, irrespective of the final outcome, and there are drastic fines and on-site audits of the merchant and his bank involved (at the merchant's expense) if certain thresholds are exceeded repeatedly. So even if you don't get your money back, the merchant moves a small step closer to getting a colonoscopy. See for more details on that: https://stripe.com/docs/disputes/monitoring-programs
And to answer your actual question: I've won every single dispute that I filed in the last 25 years, except in 2006 against an Australian car rental company.
A little background:
I regularly scour out different spots in the UAE to find the most prestine dark place, away from all lights. I posted about some dark-sky locations in the UAE before as well on Reddit. This is among one of the darkest spots I have found so far, it is in the Rub Al Khali desert. I wish I could share the location but all the previous spots I reported are almost as good; and I don't want this place spoiled just yet, so I am gonna have to keep the exact location under wraps!
Sometimes I organize little astronomy meets as well. We have an upcoming event for the upcoming Geminid meteor shower. Still in the planning stages though, but we will soon be posting that on the page "UAE Astronomy Group" on meetup.com for anyone who'd like to attend it.

>So kinda gives me a nerve that she might be attracted to my profession than my self.
I am going to give you some advice. Women want someone who has a noble profession so that they can feel superior that they're fucking a man of higher status and can boast to their girlfriends and family so they can be jealous and the women get's a high kind of feeling out of it.
To me it doesn't really look like a straight forward relationship, also the word single mother got me off guard. You need to find out what happend? I know a lot of filipinos who are married in Philipines but say they aren't married here and use arab men to buy them things in exchange for company/sex it's the truth. So I know a few GCC countries not sure about UAE ask Filipino women to get a letter from their church in Philipines of their marital status to get married in that country. Shock for them! But it's true.
I would be very cautious also you seem to have self esteem issues you need to build those up first then. Stop thinking you are brown or dark it's nothing releated to that. It's all about how you show yourself to be. Try mixing into groups first maybe from meetup.com . I have dated a lot of white women and I am half brown and half white unfortunately most of them wanted my money and were gold diggers so now I have stopped dating at all. My parents are a mixed couple and have been married for years now but their generation was different and I think now a days it's very hard to find a relationship like their's. My mother always warns me of how manupilative women are today and how they are gold diggers, I so agree with her!
If you are able to use WhatsApp calls or video or FaceTime for this purpose then using a premium VPN like NordVPN (which I use) or ExpressVPN will cost you a few quid per year but enable you to call home easily and with the same apps that everyone else uses instead of the UAE’s nonsense.
Get the Acer Predator Helios, off Amazon. It ships here too, but the S&H and Import fees almost total up to 500 dirhams. Check SnS. The laptop's $1049 which is 4549 including the S&H and Import fees, and I don't think you'll get many good deals at GITEX, but it's worth checking out. :)
Have you read this book, Man's Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl? I like it a lot. I can send you a copy if you will PM me an address. It says that there's no concrete meaning in life that is universal to everyone. We make it meaningful by finding something to care about.
You can do the same from their app, and they deliver in 45 minutes.

I'd say the same. Local mosques have activities almost every week going on. Depends on your area but especially in Ramadan, there are loads of drives you can take part in.

For group activities and such, try meetup.com and again there are a few groups who organise events within the Muslim community.

It is the mother of all evil:"In her book The Shock Doctrine: The Rise of Disaster Capitalism, Naomi Klein details how global power players use times of crisis and chaos as a pretext for imposing destructive free-market policies that advance the interests of the wealthy. As far back as the 1970s, economists inspired by free-market guru Milton Friedman were inspiring U.S.-backed coups and military juntas to push an unpopular radical free-market agenda onto the unwilling populations of countries like Chile, Brazil and Argentina." http://www.naomiklein.org/shock-doctrine

May I suggest Iran? It's the best place for vacation if you live in UAE but people tend to dismiss it for some absurd political reasons.
It's pretty easy for tourists to come contrary to what the media portrays from Iran, and if you're from Kenya based on your flair, I think you can get visa on-arrival. Here' some info on places you could visit
and if you want to just visit Tehran, Trip Advisor has made the best suggestions.
The weather is also a lot cooler than Dubai during May/June.
Anyway if you have questions I'll be happy to answer.
I use this to connect my ps4 controller to PC. Works well. A bit of set up is required though. I heard you can connect up to four controllers but haven't tried more than one.
Here's an alternative option. However; it doesn't mean it's fully legal (depending on your business- if you're shipping products into the region - great option) and a little more time consuming but worth doing as you're using the best (in my opinion) payment portal out there; Stripe.
They have a feature that they launched awhile ago called Stripe Atlas. You pay them $500USD and they set up a C-Corp organisation in the States and gave you banking with SVB (Silicon Valley Bank). They recently allowed the formation of a LLC. Worth diving in and consider your options.
Pros: * Payment gateway set up within a week of signing up as well as banking. (I managed to set up an entity and got banking and started accepting payments before someone from Telr responded back to my request email) * Stripe's much better than any local option. Easy to use. Integrates well with pretty much anything. Refunds are easy, API's amazing. Support is great as well. * Relatively inexpensive option to test out your idea without investing a tonne of cash into a trade license and beg for local banking.
Cons: * The big one, filing for taxes every year. There's ways to keep your exposure down, I'll leave it for you to research. * Money's sat in a US bank account - wiring is extremely easy though. * Screening process with Atlas (not sure if this is still the case) - they have to like your idea for you to come onboard, unless you get another Atlas member to send you an invite code.
It's also dependent on what your business is, are you selling products locally? Do you want to accept payments on the go?
Read more at https://stripe.com/atlas - hope that helps! It's not the best option for everyone, but I love it.
From PayPal: >If you want to withdraw more than $500 per month, just verify your bank account, debit card, or credit card information.
Pirate bay is down for everyone. It's not a UAE thing. No idea what the issue is or if it'll come back.
I don't know about eztv but this site is a pretty good way to find out if the site is down for everyone or if it's just a problem with your connection
Hey good thread.
1) That is a good idea, BUT... if you have time though and are willing to go through Dubizzle you can get your hands on some good deals for new bikes. I bought a foldable mountain bike (albeit 3 years ago) for about 500 AED new and it still goes well ( I ride around Warqaa/Mirdif)
2) Unless you're taking your biking to the "next level" and try and get top speed etc, general sports clothing is more than enough. I personally have broken my wrist about 15 years ago and wear a wrist brace for the only reason that I am paranoid. I would recommend depending on distance you get a water bottle (most basic bikes come with a hold for them) or a camel bak, but again, if its just a casual stroll you are taking you should be ok.
3) I personally have not been to Al Qudra but I have friends of all levels go down there (BUT... they're all +21) But a quick look has given me this link http://www.mapmyride.com/ae/dubai-dubai/ which could help and I believe its being maintained by bike riders.
Worst case you can go down to any bike shop (If you do decathalon in MCC go up to the bike shop next to Nike and ask there) most of the staff are pretty friendly and full of information on local tracks.
Main thing is you're getting out with your kid and riding! Enjoy the good weather!

Amazon will make life difficult for large format offline players. They'll also teach MENA its first set of lessons on ecommerce. But the deal is complete only yesterday. They possibly got the cash yesterday too. If it can take this long for deal completion, might take longer for actual amazon execs to come and play it out . Till then we may have to live with oldschool folks from Uncle souq.

I used a VPN to sign up for Spotify and then downloaded the app on my phone and laptop. The apps work just fine without a VPN, they only seem to require a valid account and password.
I used ZenMate to sign up. It's a free browser addon.
Not trying to be negative, What actually is happening in Jordan & Lebanon? I see only elementary unresearched initiatives from these two countries. I would take Jordan for the simple reason that Jabbar Internet did some good work and Fadi Gandour is inspiring a generation there. Whats with Lebanon? For all the assumption that the average Lebanese person makes about his/her IQ, this country can actually do something beyond contributing fake-child-prodigies to startup space.
Didi invests in all ride share apps that compete with Uber. But 5/10 for Careem to have raised investments. That need to be applauded.

Ounass is new and can't say it is doing very well . At 140K visits/month from UAE out of which more than 75% is inorganic with a 54% bounce rate and average pageview/session at 3.34, if they are doing 10 orders a day, they should be really happy about that 0.2% conversion rate.

You know what's the issue with startup publications and journos in the Middle East? They assume that people who read are dumbfucks or possibly they themselves are not aware as to how to analyze data and check if someone is doing good. Moreover, you guys are super egoistic without any reasoning. That makes you glorify everything that's below average. I really wish I can read a start-up article from the Middle East that reflects at least 80% of the truth in reality, before I die.
Use both simultaneously. Split your workflow into 2 and use the laptop for lighter tasks. Use a virtual kvm to share the keyboard and mouse and a clipboard that syncs between 2 systems to share text and files between both.
SetupVPN ext on Chrome, completely free. I use Private Internet Access, aka PIA, which is highly recommended on /r/vpn.
VPN wont 'help' you play with your friends, it will just increase your ping.. create an XBL party and you'll be fine.
I highly recommend Private Internet Access VPN
I have a 10Mbps connection and I get nearly the same speed with VPN on for real! Much better than other vpn services I have tested. It also allows vpn via port 53. Etisalat does traffic shaping on many common ports except port 53 which many other vpn's don't allow.
If you torrent a lot, you really need a vpn because Etisalat/Du probably gets DCMA notices at your ip address assigned to you by Etisalat/Du and they 'probably' know what you are downloading as a result. Many countries and ISP's are complying to DCMA notices. Etisalat and Du is not complying yet.
The test is not correct at times. So, I suggest you download a big file and check the speed.
VyprVPN, like you after trying many VPNs and feeling unsatisfied I found Vypr. Its beaten everything else I've used by a million miles, can even stream Netflix in HD, and you get to connect to a choice of multiple VPNs in countries across the world, even comes with a mobile app that allows you to use the VPN on your phone.
> Edit #2: After using a VPN, my download speed rocketed.
what VPN are you using? I use Hotspot Shield on my laptop, and i have to disable it to be able to download. if it's on, 0.7kbps at the maximum.
Meh, /r/atheism is a cesspit of edgy memes and spite anyway. You're not missing much.
If you really want to see all that rubbish, you can download Hotspot Shield or Expat Shield (same thing) which, when activated, allows you to browse the web through an artificial UK IP address, so you can access blocked sites.
Have Chrome? Use this free extension called Zenmate. Smooth as hell, no stuttering.
Plus if you want to really up the ante, join /r/stream_links, there are links posted there for most major matches.
Also, there's this program called AcePlayer (google it) where you can stream it in a VLCish interface. During the worldcup, I used it to stream a channel named Bloodzeed which had a 2000KB/s stream. Beautiful 1080p.
The instructions provided by /u/ubersimba are below, I used TunnelBear instead of spotflux and it worked:
Step 1 : install spotflux. (google it, it should be available to download, if not lemme know and i'll send you a link) Spotflux is a VPN (virtual private network) service that makes it look like your IP comes from a US based server Note: Any other VPN service that gives you a US based server will do, Tunnel bear or hotspot shield for example. All of these are free.
Step 1.5 : download spotify: or
Install spotify, do not run it just yet. if it runs by itself, just quit it.
Step 2: Run spotflux, wait for it to connect. You will get a msg saying your connection is now protected.
step 4: open spotify, Sign in with your facebook or whatever you prefer. Since you have spotflux connected, spotify thinks you're in the US, so it will give you access. once you're signed in, you should see your dashboard,
Step 5: You can now disconnect spotflux and continue using Spotify
Step 6: Listen to some tunes.
Note: You can quit and reopen spotify as many times as you like, and it should still work fine. However, once in a while, on opening, it will detect that you are running out of dxb and show you an error msg. In this case, simply quit spotify - open spotflux again - once connected - open spotify - and everything will be back to normal - then quit spotflux
I use MediaHint extension for Chrome which allows Netflix, and a StrongVPN US$7/month account for Skype mobile/landline dialing and other stuff.
Alcohol license is legally required but certainly don't feel like you should wait until you get one to drink. It will really just allow you to buy alcohol at local shops that sell it, otherwise you'll probably never use it. I have been here for 5 years and I've never needed my alcohol license except when buying booze at A&E or MMI. Just be reasonable and don't get sloppy drunk in when you get your license.
Great nightlife! Loads of great spots on any given night, and ladies nights abound :) Dress code for women depends on the 'll see an extremely wide variety around town. At the clubs, virtually anything goes...
One admittedly extreme example of nightlife (except during the hottest summer months...), and "dress code":
You can get Panadol or equivalent at any pharmacy 't bring Codeine-containing stuff as it's illegal without a prescription.
Check out InterNations Dubai, they have regular meetings; but you don't need too much direction, Dubai is a super-social place where it's easy to meet people.
August is gonna be quiet, hot and humid....basically the worst month. October - May are excellent and wonderful. I love it here and I hope you do too :)
That is not something I can advise on. I think I lucked out on meeting my wife when I did. The best shit for myself when I'm down is some Stoicism. If you haven't read it then get a copy of Meditations by Marcus Aurelius.
I use "Money Lover" app on Android https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bookmark.money
The app desing is good with customizable icons. You can set recurring transaction and bills, also you can set budgets for each category so that when you exceed budget of a particular category the app notifies you.
Use this official Android app from Dubai gov to compare prices of groceries across the major supermarkets. However i am not sure when the prices were updated.

You want to get the wooden ones (ideally cedar wood) and full body ones that have a full heel and not just a nub for the heels. It makes a big difference, I find that the plastic ones stretch the shoe out weirdly.
For example these: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Twin-Tube-Red-Cedar-Wood-Adjustable-Shoe-Shaper-Men-s-Shoe-Tree/32596462057.html?spm=2114.40010208.4.8.eUqqA1

A semi-open headset which I use for gaming. It offers a wide sound stage (which gives a better 3D sound experience). Doesn't have a mic, but I managed to attach an antlion modmic - problem solved.
It's ridiculously good for the price! Compare it to the ATH M50x which I had, this thing is the true definition of value for money.
And they are now only 64 bucks for the new 4k model. I just ordered another as soon as I saw:

I advise to get yellow in case you drop it :)
If you're already in Sharjah, check out the Blue Souq (aka the old gold souq). Ignore the lower level and make your way upstairs to where they sell the old Persian carpets, fresh pearls, and camel bone and silver crafts. It's free to enter and worth a visit.
There's also an abundance of museums and mosques in Sharjah that you can visit that are relatively inexpensive, and will give you a more authentic middle eastern vibe than the more modern counterparts in Dubai. Check out the King Faisal Mosque (an architectural student favourite, and walking distance from the Blue Souq), or the Museum of Islamic Civilisation.
As for Dubai, there's been more than enough posts about inexpensive tourist attractions here. Do a search or visit the FAQ in the sidebar.
The DNS Poisoning method and the host file method are two different methods.
What you described is the DNS Poisoning method. CloudFlare has a nice writeup explaining how DNS Poisoning works, You can read it here.
The host file method works in a similar we way but instead of the DNS Server sending the wrong IP, The IP is overridden via the hosts file located in windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts.
Amazon are building a data centre in Bahrain. They are going to ME, whether you like it or not.
I just made my batch of jell-o shots last night. I used the plastic disposable shot cups. They worked perfectly! Found mine at any Waitrose/Spinney's. 9aed for a pack of 50.

I can't answer the question as far as the what ifs regarding being "caught" with material on your computer that is considered illegal here, but one of my favorite websites is Pandora, which only works through US based ip addresses. I downloaded this: http://download.cnet.com/Free-VPN/3000-7240_4-75445860.html which converts your ip address into one based on the country you choose. It is a pay service, but very cheap. I am sure you will be able to view whatever site you want. Hope this helps you "pass the time" ;)
Its not easy for people to take time out of their routine and teach you everything , best bet would be to start learning urself , one of the great sources could be Moz Blog https://moz.com/blog . also you can find plenty of courses on Udemy ...
Sorry, I am not sure what it is.
I just recently made the account. All I remember is that the amount was easily transferred back and I got what I was expecting.
Edit: Just did a quick search. It is EUR5.5 here
This is a very common feeling, and it's called Sunday Night Blues.
Of course, that would be Saturday Night Blues here in the UAE. It's not necessarily associated with the nature of your job or where you are in life. I guess it can even be traced to evolutionary causes, though this is mainly an uninformed guess.
The best oman chips sandwich is in the middle of the desert. there's a place called "2nd december". Its literally a little shop in the middle of nowhere. No electricity/water.. so all the guy makes is karak and oman chip sandwiches like a boss.

Do you have a 1TB hard drive? Maybe you can get it replaced for free: https://www.apple.com/support/imac-harddrive/
Based on what you wrote above, a hard drive replacement + OS reinstallation will probably solve all your problems.
It's not a built in Apple OS. It can be any smart TV that has the airplay feature. You can check if it has a "Works with Apple Airplay" sticker on it.
very late i guess, https://imgur.com/i0wCiOc
If still not decided then here is my entry, I just used some images from shutterstock(paid) and redid it into a banner.

I hope it will somehow help to boost your morale: Back in the day, came to this country on a 3-month tourist visa once again, everyday applied online and did walk-in CV distribution. Even though I had a very decent UAE experience in the industry I applied for, which was luxury retail, in 3 months only got a whopping 1 call and that was DAMAC for a real-estate agent position. DAMAC is known to have an open RE agent vacancy all year long just like Pierre Cardin with a 90% discount and its not the best place to work. Fair enough, I went to an interview even if it was not my expertise but sales are sales, the concept is the same. Guess what? failed that. I wasted my 3 months of time, money and energy for a 1 call and had to go back to my home country. Boy that hurt pretty bad! Thank God that was the best thing ever happened. If I was accepted to any of those companies, I wouldn't start my own venture that is 10x more lucrative with complete freedom. Stay strong, I know what you guys feel. Good times are ahead of you. There is a website called canva.com . They have a very good CV templates, Cover letters. Walk-in CV distribution also helps but its just luck. Good luck!
Definitely it has no ads and no google collecting your data and giving you weird suggestion and it's open source as well. https://newpipe.net/
Also if you are PC you can download Firefox browser and add ad ons like ublock origin
www.di.fm more then 30 channels of music genre to choose from. Free version got ads every 30 minutes or so. The ad is less then 1 minute. Takes very few data, depends on your stream quality. Premium version no ads & amazing sound quality to make those car speakers work.
Use unlocator.com Smart DNS service and you can watch your HBO Max and Hulu subscriptions. I use this myself and works great, and better than VPN because you don't lose speed with smart dns
I'm attempting to check this out, but I'm getting an SSL connection error when I go to the website https://www.frootvpn.com, and when I make it http: instead, the site is blocked in the UAE. Any tips?
Thanks for taking the effort. :)
Also, for those using Chrome on PC, you can bypass most paywalls easily using this: https://github.com/iamadamdev/bypass-paywalls-chrome
Also my heart goes out to poor Al Tayyar group who are spending loads of cash in tajawal.com which they are are gonna lose badly :( - Exhibit 1
Tight slap to the b**tards who convinced them to invest in this play.
If this is beneficial, this is the information I have. Whether it's correct or outdated, I don't know.
'A foreigner may apply for citizenship by fulfilling the following:
legally lived in the UAE for 30 years or 7 years, if an Arab citizen of Omani, Qatari or Bahraini origin. No residence limit exists for people who provide honorable services to the country.
legally earn a living
maintain good reputation
have enough knowledge of the Arabic language
no criminal record'
If you don't have the Windows key then do this:
What the university teaches is normally not the practical world needs. You need to learn to solve real world problems. The best way to do it is to find people with needs and try to find a solution for them. There are communities online where you can get paid while doing that. But do it for the learning if you're still in University. Check - https://www.topcoder.com - https://www.upwork.com/
Over there, search for the smallest projects and start from basic scripting and coding requests. Then take bigger challenges as you learn more and feel more confident. If you start with big projects, you will only frustrate yourself and it will take ages.
The web is the next big thing, so learn stuff like Ruby and Rails, HTML5 and CSS3.
Pick up ze fone and try calling any of these people https://www.linkedin.com/vsearch/f?type=all&keywords=rta+metro&orig=GLHD&rsid=&pageKey=member-home&trkInfo=
Also try Abu zabi and maybe people in Muscat Town Planning (they're also considering a metro)

It's totally fine. They don't care.
Those laws and high fines are just for people running illegal businesses or doing shady shit.
They really don't care about a regular Joe installing ExpressVPN to watch some porn at night. Or some family using VPN to make voice calls to their family abroad.
Ok thanks you, I will look into this. I search on amazon has many but the top recommended is this: https://www.amazon.ae/Purifier-Cleaner-Replacement-Reminder-Bedroom/dp/B098DQHTQH/ref=sr_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=Air+Purifier&qid=1632734816&sr=8-5
Quarter the price of the Phillips, worth a try or not?
Get good VPNs, you'll never know when the govt can ban something.
A few that work flawlessly are Windscribe, IPVanish, Express and Mullavad. ( Personally use Windscribe but have tested the other 3. )
Or you could always self host a VPN on any datacentres(hetzner,AWS,lowendhost, etc) which will cost roughly about 1-5$ max per month.
As some have mentioned, getting Business Line is mad expensive when you have cheaper alternatives like VPN for a tiny fraction of the cost.
Oh I forgot I was replying in r/dubai. I meant we live in a place lolol
I'm not so sure about the technicality, but one time I bought NordVPN assuming it was the best. Nothing worked even after an extensive setup. I talked to their customer service and they were saying they think they blocked their servers here or know the list of servers they have in India idek
No need to PM. I use NordVPN although ExpressVPN is another excellent one. I’m not sure if ExpressVPN has any issues with Etisalat though. I use NordVPN with Etisalat and Du however and have no issues with either. 👍🏼
It's called manga up. It's a very good app but they don't put out the latest chapters quickly. Also Idk if it's available on apple.
