Also, the fine isn't linked to your car, as far as I know. I think it's linked to your license, so you can pay for it whenever before you need to renew - don't quote me on that, check up on it.

So I looked it up (based on the ISBN in the image) and it seems like you have the 3rd edition and not the 5th edition that's on Amazon. If you do look at the 3rd edition on amazon it shows that the price for a new book starts from $471.50. I tried to see if I order it what the shipping cost would be but it won't deliver it to UAE for that price I think. I picked the $496.24 and for that price they will delivery but after including the shipping it will cost you $528.23 in total. That's about AED1940.

I went back to the Amazon page to see the ($49.99) 5th edition book from your image. Now here cheapest option which delivers to UAE was the $50 one but it has $40.49 shipping. It will cost you $90.49 (about AED332) in total. Btw, you'll see it can go up to $738.19 for the book with $41.99 for shipping from another seller.

A little background:

I regularly scour out different spots in the UAE to find the most prestine dark place, away from all lights. I posted about some dark-sky locations in the UAE before as well on Reddit. This is among one of the darkest spots I have found so far, it is in the Rub Al Khali desert. Here's an alternative option. However; it doesn't mean it's fully legal (depending on your business- if you're shipping products into the region - great option) and a little more time consuming but worth doing as you're using the best (in my opinion) payment portal out there; Stripe.

They have a feature that they launched awhile ago called Stripe Atlas. You pay them $500USD and they set up a C-Corp organisation in the States and gave you banking with SVB (Silicon Valley Bank). They recently allowed the formation of a LLC. Worth diving in and consider your options.

Pros: * Payment gateway set up within a week of signing up as well as banking. (I managed to set up an entity and got banking and started accepting payments before someone from Telr responded back to my request email) * Stripe's much better than any local option. Easy to use. Integrates well with pretty much anything. Refunds are easy, API's amazing. Support is great as well. * Relatively inexpensive option to test out your idea without investing a tonne of cash into a trade license and beg for local banking.

Cons: * The big one, filing for taxes every year. There's ways to keep your exposure down, I'll leave it for you to research. * Money's sat in a US bank account - wiring is extremely easy though. * Screening process with Atlas (not sure if this is still the case) - they have to like your idea for you to come onboard, unless you get another Atlas member to send you an invite code.

It's also dependent on what your business is, are you selling products locally? Do you want to accept payments on the go?

1) That is a good idea, BUT... if you have time though and are willing to go through Dubizzle you can get your hands on some good deals for new bikes. I bought a foldable mountain bike (albeit 3 years ago) for about 500 AED new and it still goes well ( I ride around Warqaa/Mirdif)

2) Unless you're taking your biking to the "next level" and try and get top speed etc, general sports clothing is more than enough. I personally have broken my wrist about 15 years ago and wear a wrist brace for the only reason that I am paranoid. I would recommend depending on distance you get a water bottle (most basic bikes come with a hold for them) or a camel bak, but again, if its just a casual stroll you are taking you should be ok.

The instructions provided by /u/ubersimba are below, I used TunnelBear instead of spotflux and it worked:

Step 1 : install spotflux. (google it, it should be available to download, if not lemme know and i'll send you a link) Spotflux is a VPN (virtual private network) service that makes it look like your IP comes from a US based server Note: Any other VPN service that gives you a US based server will do, Tunnel bear or hotspot shield for example. Note: You can quit and reopen spotify as many times as you like, and it should still work fine. However, once in a while, on opening, it will detect that you are running out of dxb and show you an error msg. In this case, simply quit spotify - open spotflux again - once connected - open spotify - and everything will be back to normal - then quit spotflux

I use MediaHint extension for Chrome which allows Netflix, and a StrongVPN US$7/month account for Skype mobile/landline dialing and other stuff.

Alcohol license is legally required but certainly don't feel like you should wait until you get one to drink. A semi-open headset which I use for gaming. It offers a wide sound stage (which gives a better 3D sound experience). Doesn't have a mic, but I managed to attach an antlion modmic - problem solved.

If you're already in Sharjah, check out the Blue Souq (aka the old gold souq). Ignore the lower level and make your way upstairs to where they sell the old Persian carpets, fresh pearls, and camel bone and silver crafts. It's free to enter and worth a visit.

There's also an abundance of museums and mosques in Sharjah that you can visit that are relatively inexpensive, and will give you a more authentic middle eastern vibe than the more modern counterparts in Dubai. The DNS Poisoning method and the host file method are two different methods.

What you described is the DNS Poisoning method. CloudFlare has a nice writeup explaining how DNS Poisoning works, You can read it here.

The host file method works in a similar we way but instead of the DNS Server sending the wrong IP, The IP is overridden via the hosts file located in windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts.

Get good VPNs, you'll never know when the govt can ban something.
A few that work flawlessly are Windscribe, IPVanish, Express and Mullavad. ( Personally use Windscribe but have tested the other 3. )

Or you could always self host a VPN on any datacentres(hetzner,AWS,lowendhost,etc) which will cost roughly about 1-5$ max per month.

As some have mentioned, getting Business Line is mad expensive when you have cheaper alternatives like VPN for a tiny fraction of the cost.

No need to PM. I use NordVPN although ExpressVPN is another excellent one. I’m not sure if ExpressVPN has any issues with Etisalat though. I use NordVPN with Etisalat and Du however and have no issues with either. 👍🏼

One phone is Etisalat, and the other is Du. Home internet is Du and my office is Etisalat. Again, no issues with connecting whatsoever. I used to have bad connection issue when I was using those free VPNs. the day I bought ExpressVPN everything got sorted.

Mind you, I use VPN for VoIP mostly and Netflix/Prime.
