No need to make modifications to your game client, just use this:
https://github.com/Codeusa/Borderless-Gaming/blob/master/README.md
Check the AH to see what you can afford. Desert Fires and Mossy Pools are 25-30s and Nui's Novas and Kraken's Mights are 80-90s on my server and I make enough gold to use them off cooldown when I want to. Large health cooldown in 90 seconds, large mana is 45s, small pots are both 9 seconds.
Spellbooks are insane because you can get them under 1.5g and Unstoppable force gives you 86 more DPS to ranged (even though the tooltip doesn't say so), magic, and meelee. Brick wall decreases damage taken. These are very important.
Drinks increase your max mana and health. Tangy Soda and Tangy Liquor are the highest rank of each and go for about 80s on my server. Again you can look at lower ranks if you can't afford these.
Ancient Library Relics and Kingdom's heart are magical and physical defense pots. They can be expensive at around 4g. There are three ranks of defense pots.
Food increases one stat and rank 4s (ribs) cost about 1.5g. Savory = Str, Roast = Int, Smoked = Spirit, Kebab = Agi.
There are a bunch more like runes, regen foods, elixirs, candies, tonics, etc. Google found me this: https://workflowy.com/s/3brKyUHZRQ#
When you stare at your screen, you blink less than usual causing your eyes to get somewhat dehydrated and also more vulnerable to bacteria since the fluid from your eyes also contain enzymes to neutralize them. You can 'force' your eyes to become watery by yawning if they feel too dry. It's not a real solution, but it certainly helps (at least to me).
Also make sure you use proper lighting; not too bright and not shining directly into your eyes. Try putting lampshades to prevent light from directly entering your eyes and only indirectly from the reflecting on objects. Sunlight can be really bright as well, if it's bothering you, you can use window shades as well. Glares can be harmful as well, mirrors and similar surfaces tend to reflect light beams without a lot of divergence, causing light reflected from them to be just as bright.
The light your screen emits isn't too good for your eyes either. Try using f.lux to dim your screen a little bit during the later hours. It's not only better for your eyes, it will also help you fall asleep more easily at night, since the part of your brain that creates hormones to help you stay awake get stimulated less before bedtime.
Upgrading your monitor could help as well if you have a bad one. I heard from some people that using 120Hz monitors helped them, because it displayed animations more smoothly. They tend to be somewhat expensive though and you need to have a decent graphics card. It might be worth looking into, but I can't give you any guarantees that it will help.
And of course, you also have these gaming glasses.
At last, play moderately and take frequent breaks. Perhaps a bit redundant as you are most likely already aware, but it really helps. :P
I watched this video about Valves opinion on the impact companies communication has on the community. It's long, but Trion/XLGames has made many mistakes they've labeled. Update 1.0 is the tip of the iceberg compared with the empty material we diehard fans were promised months ago.
Trion has inadvertently made comments on fan sites (AA Source) as well as this sub, which promised further communications and announcements when the Russian version went on BETA. That instilled the image that January 2014 would begin the red carpet for Alpha news (similar to Trove). Archeage had our first birthday under Trion a few weeks ago. Instead of celebrating AA, they continued their cold shoulder onto our community and said "no talking about AA or we will shadow ban you" on a twitch live stream.
They tempt us with possible AA information, then deny us the privilege of celebrating AA birthday on a twitch live stream. Update 1.0 cannot be handled without first opening better communication with Trion and Jake Song. The community deserves to have their say in unpopular content, since we are going to be the first ones to play and market their game.
I've been waiting over 4 years for AA to arrive, and these empty promises feels like Trion/XLGames is abandoning AA and simply butchering the western version to focus on other "fast cash" or local IPs (intellectual property) like Trove.
Edit: I just realized that RIFT has now surpassed AA in this MMORPG.COM list hype/rating wise. Trion might be purposely retaining information and butchering the alpha so that their current games can share more positive reviews.
If you're running off an SSD, you ought to move your user folders (stuff like Documents, Pictures, etc) to your second hard drive. It'll help cut down on problems like this and reduce the amount of writes that happen to your SSD to extend it's life. If you right click on the Documents folder and select properties, it should have an option called Location which can let you relocate it.
Now, if you don't want to move the entirety of your Documents to your HDD, you can just create a symlink for the ArcheAge folder to locate it somewhere else.
A symlink is basically a more advanced shortcut of sorts. It will leave what appears to be a shortcut in your Documents folder that when used, will redirect to a different folder of your choosing. This guild should tell you all you need to know about symlinks and how to make them. It will require you to use the Command Prompt however.
For anyone having this problem:

link > "Weapons: Use a 1h Katana and a shield for the 10% Crit bonus provided and the inherent increased defences. "
Now what?
The Beta only starts at 10am (GMT-7) so 1800 hours in europe. So there are still 6 hours to goooooooooo
If you have multiple pc just put copies into those pc. You can employ a virtual machine software to run multiple copies of window/archage https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads if you pc is powerful. There also thin client method but that can be considered as hacking because you are bypassing the hackshield. I dont have access to that software and it probably more similiar to botting.
With remote desktop, I was able to stream and play archeage with PGP detecting the shield controller, hackshield had no problems. This worked on both the portable and tablet with controller.
The first step is to add microsoft's own remote desktop to the shield stream list.Though adding glyph itself make sense and does let you play the game too, it is inexplicably buggy when reconnecting if archeage is already launched which is why remote desktop is used.
If PGP is already set up and can detect shield then you are good to create/enable a archeage profile and launch the game through glyph, otherwise use remote desktop to connect and launch a fully updated PGP with custom shield support. having remote desktop connected makes it simpler for PGP to detect and set up the shield.
Note the crucial part is the game must be in windowed mode first if you wish to connect to archeage already launched or gamestream will give an error that another application is in full screen. if thats the case and you arent at your pc, you can attempt other methods of rdp/vnc to force archeage to close or go into windowed mode.
After you connect, you can then set it to full screen in the game options (or use alt+enter); multitasking on the tablet/portable works at this point as long as you dont force close remote desktop through shield hub. the problem seems to be fullscreen exclusive mode so the blaa mod might help there but I dont use it. bluetooth/usb keyboard and mouse work as well from the shield but i find the controller is good enough for crafting and pve. good luck!
I feel really bad for people who get screwed by scams like WarZ. And state of some games that Ubisoft (watch_dogs performance issues / graphical downgrade says hello) and EA (where should I even begin...) release just boggle my mind. But those are not really comparable since they don't really handle f2p mmo releases.
Look at gameforge and think how fcking hopelessly horrible it all could have gone for Archeage.
This is just the absolute tip of the iceberg, and it's still a pretty terrifying read:
http://www.mmorpg.com/gamelist.cfm/game/253/view/forums/post/5515004#5515004
Same happened to FF14RR minus the housing issues. Long server queues for the first two weeks including numerous errors that prevented login or caused crashes. Also new servers filled up just as fast as the ones that were already backlogged. In fact, it was so bad Yoshi-P cried on a video(which has been removed from YT but a readable version of that can be found here) because he felt so bad fans were getting upset because they couldn't play. This will probably take a month of time for populations to stabilise somewhat with the addition of new servers so hang in there, shits going to get worse before it gets better.
Sometimes I feel like Trion bought publishing rights for AA specifically to ruin it's image in the west. Why market an MMO that makes them 0$? If they market AA with unpopular content/communication, then their current MMO RIFT would receive much more attention. Notice how on this MMORPG.com list that RIFT has surpassed AA now hype/rating wise. AA used to be within the top 3.... Coincidence???
This is a local desktop alternative, comes with customizable everything. http://www.flamebrain.com/download-watchme/
Additional announcer for AA if you are thinking with portals. https://www.dropbox.com/s/vbxp8xjiybqly06/crops_timer.wav
Buy a VPN, I guess. I'd use HideMyAss because they provide a broad range of servers in mad countries. I remember the speed was pretty decent too. However, I highly doubt TRION will make an exception for a few dozen of players that travel often but who knows?
Hackshield is gone, here is an image of the bin folder to prove it. Im to tired right now to look for the statement about it or the part of the livestream it was talked about in, but if you dont believe me still, just search the forums. https://gyazo.com/2651536b0ac08a5237f2d95f9bc4f44f
seriously not going to believe me? yawn ok let me get up a link from their main website http://www.archeagegame.com/en/news/2014/08/archeage-schedule-announcement/ now in that it says open beta doesnt open until 10AM PDT and currently atm it is 2AM PDT and there also other things like this http://www.timeanddate.com/countdown/to?month=09&day=04&hour=10&min=00&sec=00&p0=137&msg=ArcheAge+Open+Beta a countdown on when open beta starts
Now the person in that statues said nothing about the servers going live, just because they are doing maintenance on the SITE has nothing to do with the actual game and not to mention if the servers wre live dont you think there would be a flood of posts called 'OPEN BETA LIVE" ect ect, seriously all you ahve to do was a little bit of research
http://www.mmorpg.com/gamelist.cfm/game/572/feature/8321/PreGDC-Interview-Reveals-Trions-Plan.html
"Scott Hartsman: Sure – A couple of the best examples are gliders and mounts. Currently, the best ones in the game in some regions are exclusively purchaseable from the store. That may be ideal for the other markets, but doesn’t fit the western “No tricks, no traps” F2P vision and sensibility. "
Now maybe stfu?
https://gyazo.com/defe6b169b542bcecba06de0f29a47f8
todays haul was pretty bad probably the worst ive had yet. but as you can see
i got about 320g from raw gold drop 59 sunlight motes 60 dust 5 shards thats easily 80g depending on your AH
moonlight is maybe 10g worth. the fine lunarite is easily another 110g the superiors are another 50g braziers 40g and the trees about 170 rest is worth crap so in all about 800g in profit. now for about 9500 labor thats almost 9s per labor. 9s per labor isnt that great. i mean ive made almost 1200g for about 9500 labor which is almost 13s. i would say my average is 11.5s per labor and i think that isnt that bad considering the best And safest trade route on the east is silent forest to falcorth and if remove the gold/labor cost to grow the mats you will be making 7.5s per labor and that doesnt include cost of mats.
When you first start the game, before you build a character, check out the servers and queues. In your own interest and everybody else's, you will want to choose a server that isn't overpopulated and so doesn't have a queue and, if possible, doesn't say "high". As a very general rule of thumb, servers lower down in the list are newer and thus less populated than the ones higher up.
The character generation process doesn't let you build a character that's completely inept; you can choose the combat skill set you prefer and start killing monsters easily right away. Run to any exclamation marks you see (quests), especially the green ones, which form the basic and essential story line quest. It's a lot of fun and at least at the beginning there's essentially nothing you can do to screw yourself up permanently.
When taking a break from all the questing action (or when the servers are down for maintenance or such) you can read up in some guides for general useful hints on successful game play. Here's the one for Nuia, the Western continent. There's a similar one floating around for the East.
Ok, I will try and make a long process short.
Close Glyph, Game, Everything.
Go to your "C" Drive and look for a folder called "Archeage". Delete it.
Go to this link, and download the prereq for your system (32 or 64 bit)
Download the Link Shell Extension right below it.
Link: http://schinagl.priv.at/nt/hardlinkshellext/hardlinkshellext.html#download
Install both of those in order.
Go to your game files. The folder you want is called "Archeage" and if you open it you will see your Alpha and or Beta folders.
Right click on that folder and hit "Pick link source"
Go to your "C" drive and click in the empty space and mouse over "Drop as..." and click "Symbolic link"
Run Glyph as Admin and try to Play Alpha.
Something I don't know if people have ever tried or tested, to see if its somewhere along the hops to the servers, your provider, trion, ect.
Just get the ip of the server you're on by going start>run>resmon and ticking archeage, plop the ip in and then check the latency.
The program is a free trial, may be something better, but it is a decent program.
I got through this by using this tool. Scroll down to where it says "Russian Federation" and follow the SSL-VPN connect guide. Register an account on aa.mail.ru through the VPN and you should be good to go!
For inland "safe" trade runs, you can create a trade pack in any location of your faction (as was always), but you can only sell them to Two Crowns, Cinderstone Moore and Solzreed Peninsula for Nuia and to Solis Headlands, Villanelle and Ynystere for Haranyan characters.
Also, there was added a new kind of trade packs, called Cargo, which you can buy from the above six locations. You can find new videos about the new trade system in Youtube if you search for patch 4.0 and 4.5.
I was overwhelmed as well but it is easy now to understand how trading works. Also, download the "Archeage Assistant" app for Android, which shows you all the trade packs sell value, World Bosses respawn timers and Event timers.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=studio.com.archeagemanager&hl=en_US
I used to have a similar problem wherein a message saying "The servers are currently busy. Please try again later." Use a proxy. I use one called CyberGhost now and Glyph works perfect.
Hope it helps! :D
Hmm, I remember Mullvad was cheap when I used it but if your financially constrained then I guess you need an alternative.
I did a quick Google and found which claims it's free, but I can't vouch for it at all.
Basically your looking for a VPN service, Google will probably help you find one that suits you, there are quite a few of them!
Yes, it's free.
Guide:
At the "Archeage Account Registration" step, you will need to use a VPN in Russia. FlyVPN and VPNGate are both free.
English patch (do not use the one in the guide, it is out of date):
You do not need to use the VPN for anything other than registering your account, downloading and playing the game from a US IP address works for now.
Have you seen the Gamespot 'Now Playing'? (http://www.gamespot.com/videos/archeage-launch-now-playing/2300-6421301/)
In it, the woman from Trion actually calls them 'illegal farms', so that is a legit term (in my book). I consider them illegal because you don't pay taxes! :)
i was surprised that archeage runs on my little netbook, it must have some really low reqs
http://www.cnet.com/products/hp-mini-311-series/
granted it's not PLAYABLE on it, but i can use it to stay logged in...
You could try using: http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri to see if your PC can indeed, run it. By the looks of your specs, I'd assume that you should be able to run AA in all low settings. You could try using a program called CCleaner to help clean up junk files and improve computer performance. You can also change your windows settings to a less resource intensive setting: http://www.registryrecycler.com/blog/2013/02/how-to-optimize-windows-8-to-run-faster/ to help speed things up.
You could also buy an SSD and faster memory to improve performance. Slightly costly, but still cheaper than buying a whole new laptop.
Ok clearly you don't understand anything I was saying and are just latching on to one thing and running with it like a troll. So lets do some education and make this my final reply to you one here is a link to what diminishing returns means http://www.britannica.com/topic/diminishing-returns . To sum it up while adding in one factor aka toughness into lets say the reduction equation and maintained everything else the same you obtain in which the inputs are getting smaller is what diminishing returns are. Now here is a link to the toughness calculation someone did https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1zJxw9KFXTz_-lhieTzGDjzk9Mdi-xiDl_VPW5zD2kzk/edit#gid=0 Now if you were to look at the reduction as you can see after around 2.4k toughness the % reduction goes from about 3-4% to about 2-3% therefore by definition it has diminishing returns. So I hope your smarter now and understand what I was saying now to go a little bit more on your point. Yes the more toughness you have the more reduction you will get however there comes a point where just parrying/blocking is better because you don't have to actually take any damage. So I hope you have a fantastic day and have learned something I will not be replying to your post anymore so enjoy :).
Symlink : http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/16226/complete-guide-to-symbolic-links-symlinks-on-windows-or-linux/
Real files are where you chose to install it. ( = 23.4 Go ) C:\Archeage\Working links to the real files, and this link is ~0bytes on your hard drive
I have a few ideas what might cause it:
The solution to 1 and 2 should be obvious, for 3 here is a guide on how to access/change the settings:
http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/9090/learning-windows-7-manage-power-settings/
You might want to check out your actual Event Log for System and Application events yourself. Whocrashed does the whole crash dump post-mortem but might not check the actual event log.
http://www.howtogeek.com/school/using-windows-admin-tools-like-a-pro/lesson3/
I do have my suspicions but let's see if you can find anything first.
Yeah wowhead looks terrible now. You can look up an archived version or w.e on a website, I don't have the link atm (mobile atm) but look at it a few years ago when it was out for a few years it was awesome. Very simple yet effective and powerful. You could search for any quest or item and find it, how to craft it, where it's from, what quest it came from. Etc. I heard it once called the bible of wow. Buuut yeah. Ill try to get you an archived link to show you what it once was in it's glory days.
here it is: https://web.archive.org/web/20060720082326/http://www.wowhead.com/ Sorry if this is sloppy, I'm mobile and doing this post in multiple typing sessions.
You forgot to factor the cost of playing into the tens and evens rolls. They should have a 'return' of 50 and 0 respectively.
Neat little program you got there, though.
Edit: The numbers still don't match up with what my calculations show they should be, though. Weird.
Edit2: Fixed my math and it matches now. Neat!
Edit3: http://jsfiddle.net/vjuuxf0u/1/ - added some other numbers into the display.
The beta hasnt started but here is a timer for the beta http://www.timeanddate.com/countdown/to?iso=20140814T10&p0=224&msg=ArcheAge+Closed+Beta+Event+%233+Beginning&csz=1&fg1=9acd79&fg2=b3b3b3
If you are really nifty (something I think every developer/publisher should do, when they post announcements about these things..), you add [ this link ] to it as well.
Dont worry about clicking it - it's just a basic countdown to the event. Just "hid it" because of the length of the link :)
Scapes; use a site like this (or create a timer. It's not rocket-science) http://www.timeanddate.com/countdown/to?iso=20140730T10&p0=224&msg=ArcheAge+Closed+Beta+Event+%232+Countdown&csz=1&fg1=9acd79&fg2=b3b3b3
..add a link to something like that, when sending out info on Beta events and such - it is much easier for the consumer and much easier for you guys to just refer to something like that. No more massive amounts of "When is it open in my timezone!?!?" - some might still be there, but at a very reduced level..
http://24timezones.com/world_directory/current_dublin_time.php
Says gmt+1 in mobile atm as well. :)
http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/ireland/dublin
You sure? Might just be badly put by me. Does Dublin Time observe Daylight Saving / Summer Time?
Like most countries in Europe, Summer (Daylight-Saving) Time is observed in Dublin Time, where the time is shifted forward by 1 hour; 1 hours ahead of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT+1).
https://lutris.net/games/archeage/
Try this out it should help get you going. You will unfortunately like most native Windows games lose some performance when running under Linux.
You can also give it a go just using Wine for Linux stand alone and see if that gives you better results.
Hope you get it working!
Tradepacks are always one way as the OP explained. But there are tons of dailies you can do.
Here is a guide you can use for the first dailies from launch this includes what you can get from TP runs. Though it may be a little outdated, all of the quests and mats should still be true.
http://hubpages.com/games-hobbies/Archeage-Earning-Gilda-Starts
There are also other dailies, like the guild quest dailies if you press Shift + T and go to the Mission tab you will see them (assuming you are in a guild).
If you own an upgraded house like the ranchers farmhouse, apothecary, etc. each house has quests you can do daily for gilda.
Also if you have the proficiency req, you can do other dailies from gathering...
watering a seed bundle, mining a fortuna vein, feeding a chicken coup will all activate dailies if you have the req. I am sure there are more but those are the three I do regularly.
Then there are the naval quests and workstation quests but I think all of those are mentioned in the link I provided.
Good luck. There are tons of ways to get gilda...choose your fate.
You can check out http://www.mmorpg.com/ too. Press Ctrl+F and look for "Sweepstakes and Giveaways" as the page is rather busy and its hard to find for new people sometimes. They always have free content and codes for something. Actually, right now they have a free armored waveworm costume for AA.
http://www.mmorpg.com/giveaways/archeage-armored-wavewyrm-costume-giveaway-1000000829
https://gyazo.com/09d050c54b2111d7c1ad623bc617cd76
today was another horible days on those tree drops man. but i did get auroria gauntlets and random armor. 342g in raw gold and guess what? this time i have some numbers for you. exactly 9936 labor was used to open purses. i opened 727 prince purses 42 stolen purses and 2 scratched purses
You can try this, I do not need an inverted mouse so I have not tried it on ArcheAge
> What is RAPID mode?
> RAPID mode is paired exclusively with Samsung 840 EVO SSDs and available as a feature of the accompanying Samsung SSD Magician Software Toolset (version 4.2 and later). When enabled, RAPID mode is inserted as a filter driver in the Windows storage stack. The driver actively monitors all storage-related activity between and among the operating system, user applications and the SSD. The RAPID technology analyzes system traffic and leverages spare system resources (DRAM and CPU) to deliver read acceleration through intelligent caching of hot data and write optimization through tight coordination with the SSD.
Looks like RAPID is software acceleration of the SSD. TRIM helps with hardware issues. I won't go in depth, but you should try Defragmentation.
I started AAU a month ago and I'm a casual player. Leveling up and doing all the main quests is pretty fun when you begin and I took my time exploring to get a better feel of the game. At first, you get your gliders, mounts, do quests, rank up your gear, buy pets and level up. You're basically exploring the game and playing around with everything that it offers. Joining a guild really helps and sometimes there's new players that you can PvP with in the open world.
After you reach level 55, you're close to endgame where you start by upgrading to Hiram gear. After that, it's just doing dungeons, raids, life skilling, and other sandbox things to make gold. I'm pretty much at this point myself (just hit 55 a week ago) and I'm working towards building a house, setting up my farm, creating a ship and doing different activities to make gold.
There's so many things to do and try in this game which can make it really fun to play. Don't worry about falling behind (unless you're really competitive) since there's catchup mechanics and others that will be around the same level as you. There's new players all the time and the official discord is very active. Feel free to join and ask any questions. https://discord.com/invite/archeageunchained
Also, you'll need to buy patron (a monthly subscription) sooner or later for the normal AA so AA Unchained is better for the money since it's a one time purchase.
I'm not sure about the Steam trading.. but g2a is a website people resell games on.
Here it is: https://www.g2a.com/r/archeage_silver/
Right now archeage silver is only like 5$ off.. I think I remember Archeum being around 40$ off??
Edit: there's one archeage silver key going for 40$ right now
Never bought anything from G2Play but G2A.com does have those packs too and its cheaper than official shop.
I always buy games there and never had a problem.
You may want to check: https://www.g2a.com/archeage-silver-founders-pack-dlc-steam-cd-key-global.html
old post but this may be helpful to some
http://dualmonitortool.sourceforge.net/swapscreen.html
allows you to hotkey whether the mouse is free to move from screen to screen. note: must run this program as administrator for it to work.
http://www.costco.com/executive-rewards.html
I think they may have changed it a bit since I got my membership. This looks like what they offered but not exactly.
Also, some people just hate it when companies make money. Then there is the fact that a lot of MMORPG players are vicious towards games and developers and will sling mud at any opportunity. Especially if they like another game or don't like this particular game much.
The fact that they are selling alpha access at all has attracted a lot of hate. I never saw so much hate at $150 collectors editions being sold pre-release, but add alpha access to that and suddenly its worth hating? I don't get it. But I do get it, people just love to hate.
Oh wow, look. Not suprisingly, Hartsman once again comes out of hiding after massive backlash from the community to do some PR stuff. Hopefully this one goes better than his last "interview" with Morgan Ramsay here
This community really needs some hard questions answered. Unfortunately, we'll see how well he may side step them if they are indeed asked.
A breath of fresh air to have a new player's perspective that hasn't been corrupted by the bitter resentment of those who quit (well maybe a little because you did read all the hate posts about this game).
More of a reason to say hats off to you for not only having tried this great game in spite of all the bad things being said about it, but for having reached your own independent opinion and seeing all the nice things too.
You should post this review on http://www.mmorpg.com/gamelist.cfm/game/572
Enjoy your stay and never let ugly people ruin the game for you!
There isn't a site as of yet that does what your asking. How about you start one?
Oh I thought this was where people could request it. But I guess the giveaway is a whole other thing that is not out yet.
idk the only reason I trusted the website is because someone was giving a sweepstakes on it but idk I guess it could be a sweepstakes where you don't even get the game XD ... http://www.mmorpg.com/contests/gamemafia_sweeps.cfm
From what I remember the majority of the keys were given away by mmorpg. You can also look around this subreddit when the next beta event is announced and there should be plenty of post directing you towards a beta key. Also from what I know you are unable to download the beta without a beta key. The last thing you can do is just register on the Archeage website.
hmm no clue i'd talk to that family friend and see what is up.. or just get a key here and try to apply it to your account http://www.mmorpg.com/giveaways.cfm/offer/549/Archeage-Closed-Beta-Event-2-Setting-Sail.html
I remember reading this MMORPG.com list about 5 years ago and seeing ArcheAge as one of the highest rated/hyped (unreleased) games. Jake Song created XLGames in 2003 specifically to develop ArcheAge, and probably created concept material for AA years before. 3 years ago is when XLGames finally announced AA was going to be published in Korea (after many Closed Beta Tests).
You are right though, AA was announced for NA/EU markets simply a few years ago. I however, have been interested in this game long before any official announcements.
almost identical != identical
See for yourself: http://tera.enmasse.com/news/posts/tera-s-got-a-furry-new-look-just-for-you
And I was referring this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zMTnGiadYTg
It's the asian "nonsenses" people will grow endurance too with passing time.
We had many, many more crap like that in passing time: school outfits, school backpacks, swimsuits, military marine outfits ....
Download this: http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/blue_screen_view.html
It will make it a lot easier to find the bugcheck code and what to look for, what driver has failed etc.
It doesn't necessarily mean ArcheAge is causing it, BSODs can be caused by so many things...
Good luck
My laptop is pretty old but it's running on Mojave. The only thing I did after the windows install was install Windows Updates and then this app to update all the drivers on Windows.
If you reinstalled your ArcheAge, but the FOV mod is still working, that likely means you have a duplicate ArcheAge game_pak lying around somewhere in your system. Because all the FOV mod does is replace a file in game_pak. Uninstalling and reinstalling ArcheAge fresh gives you a brand new game_pak file that hasn't been modified by the FOV mod, so the FOV change wouldn't exist.
For me, this usually happened whenever the FOV mod install did not complete successfully (either because of a crash, early closing, system freeze, etc). If you suspect this might be the problem, you can try using something like WinDirStat to look for it since it gives you a list of files on your system based on size.
I use TileMage(After I've resized into images with dimensions in increments of 256x256), http://images.my-addr.com/resize_png_online_tool-free_png_resizer_for_web.php (to compress down png's with too complicated transparency settings), and http://www.fixpicture.org/ (flash version at top)
The most common way to do it is by modding the following file:
game\config64\cvargroups\option_character_lod.cfg
Or by doing the documents trick by removing the above file from game_pak first.
Other do it via memory editing (take 20 secondes with cheatengine) or using "hack" that also allow to get the above result (they work by doing the memory editing for you)
Other use a not-so popular bot/script engine (not talking about the popular bot everyone run) but i'm not naming here for obvious reason.

This desktop app replaces the normal functionality of your PrtScr button on your keyboard. When pressed, it freezes your monitors and allows you to select a region to be captured. Then, upon grabbing the screen capture, you are prompted with two choices - save to your computer, or upload for immediate sharing.
You can also, through the options of Lightshot, set it up so all screenshots immediately give you a link AND puts it in your clipboard for instant pasting.
Lightshot also saves all print screens online, and is powered by imgur.

If you filter for just L2TP/IPsec and MS-SSTP you can just create a new VPN connection with the address given, no need to use additional software. There are at least three Russian servers for those two protocols atm.
That message says you cannot make a new account in your region.
Use a vpn to make an account.
There are several guides out there how to use vpngate to get a russian IP. ( VPNGATE )
Edit : check your pms.
I'm assuming you've restarted modem/router/computer. Have you tried changing your DNS settings? I had to do it for other reasons and my AA experience got better. Maybe worth a try.

Huh, that's weird, I don't get that error and I'm playing using my regular Swedish IP adress, the same goes for my friend (although obviously a different one). I'm playing the game right now as well.
Perhaps if you connect to a Russian VPN and, after starting the game (during the cutscene) disconnecting from it? A great a free program for it is, for example, SoftEther (https://www.softether.org/) if you doesn't already have one.
Not sure what db means. I used the file in the post https://www.mediafire.com/?si8hxaw2ha61l0x I have half English in my game and half Korean. Can you explain "fresh folder"? I just installed the new file the same as the old, changing the path in the patch details.
you ll need to compile them (via VS if you can) create an empty project, drop the sources, follow that configuration in your VS project for winpcap http://www.rhyous.com/2011/11/12/how-to-compile-winpcap-with-visual-studio-2010/
hit run and go
edit: make sur you have both winpcap and the winpcap-devel from (https://www.winpcap.org/devel.htm) if you are to compile it yourselft, (you ll need it for pcap.h and the 2 *.lib)
Yea, I did make a ticket and they pointed me their.
Valves response: >To do so, please log in to your Steam account details and view your Store Transactions page. https://store.steampowered.com/account/store_transactions
>Games eligible for credit will show "Request a refund" under the total purchase amount.
For those who don't know about Telegram, it's a non-profit, open source (those are good things) messaging program with no ads and lots of great features for making your own stuff, like this Archeage live feed.
You can learn more about it on their website!
I've been using ExpressVPN and connecting via Los Angeles. It's not perfect, but it's helped stabilize queues and keep me in the game for longer than 10 minutes (usually an hour, last night I was on for 3).
It's not free, but I just bought it for a month for like $12.
Hmm, interesting. Thanks a lot. Is the use of VPN strictly prohibited in itself? Or only in conjunction with other bad activities? How do you 'go to court?'
Edit: I didn't realize I hadn't mentioned it in my post (I put two posts through when they didn't show but I guess they weren't approved yet) but after a lot of research it looks likes VPNs aren't allowed, nd I may have left on my VPN Private Internet Access at one point. Have these ever been reversed or was the ban pretty much permanent?
Me and all my friends are playing with english patch w/o any problems and if you don't get d/c by gods (hack shield detecting your client modification) then your proxifier and WP should be working properly. If I had to guess I would say you are getting banned because you are using FlyVPN to register the account and someone else is using the same VPN for exploiting or botting and when they ban those ppl they are banning everyone who used that ip.
Hey guys, I hope somebody can help me. I've been banned 2 times already to year 2038 on 2 accounts, every ban appeared the next day after the registration and some playtime. To register I've been using FlyVPN, I didn't use any proxy to play the game. I used the english patch from 12/06/2014 and a patch enabling english maps. To get my game working with these patches I had to play by using Proxifier and WP. The game was in english and everything was okay but every time on the next time my account was banned for no idea what (russian lang ftw). My question is: is everyone getting banned? am I getting banned because of the english patch? am I getting banned because of english maps? am I getting banned because I am playing without proxy, which means that by using proxy I can even play with the english patches? I am downloading the unmodified game and gonna try playing in russian, but I am not sure if I was getting banned for modified game files. Sorry for my englando :P
This is my second banning, the first one was a little after a month after the launch of AA. My account was compromised and the first GM i talked to did not see it in the logs (for some reason). The second GM i spoke to did confirm this was the case, that my account was compromised and the ban was lifted. This was after we correlated each unknown/non-causal authentication request email i received to suspicious activity on the account, which took some time and our live chat took about 1 hour or more. Most likely, is the case that my email was also logged into by the suspect to gain the authentication code to access my trion account from a new location. But yes, eventually the ban was lifted, but the GM requested i change my email (from ) associated with the account first. I also told the GM i use VPN to play and so they must have taken off the email authentication check, because ever since my first unbanning, i stopped getting authentication emails whenever i play with a proxy or VPN. By the way i use VyprVPN and battleping as of late because of the massive server lags (i play from New Zealand).
GM Bohdar is the GM i spoke to about the issue above (first banning)
Ive used Zenmate from Chrome with the Hong Kong ip , Hola Unblocker shud work too . If they both wont work , Cyberghost 5 is a free vpn , it has a free Ukrainian server but its just 1 and most of the times its full . If u can get in tho , it will work
I have the same issue, however fuck playing with a VPN lol. Start your VPN, login, then disconnect from your VPN. After that you should be able to play.
I'm using SlickVPN and the moment I can login to Glyph I disconnect it and play like normal.
Holy shit I love you so much right now, I got Mullvad, and it worked but I only have 3 hours on it and I cant really pay for it for another 2-3 days, is there anything else similar that I could install?
Btw thanks so much again.
Use a VPN, FlyVPN will give you 3 free minutes if you think that is enough to buy it. Thats what I had to do even tho I'm from the States and my credit card billing address is in the states, I currently am outside the states.
Ive created my account, but on the archeage website when i press connect account, it tells me the game is not available in my area. I have Zenmate installed, is there a way to turn zenmate on?

I recently financed a new PC through amazon https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01NBLFMDM/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_0 if you want to buy it thats the link, I usually dont go below 60 FPS in huge PVP. Usually have 120 FPS under normal circumstances.
Specs: System: Intel i7-7700K 4.2GHz Quad-Core | Intel B250 Chipset | 8GB DDR4 | 1TB HDD | Genuine
Graphics: NVIDIA GTX 1080 8GB Video Card | 1x DVI | 1x HDMI | 1x Display Port
Graphics Card Ram Size 8 GB
Hard Drive 1024 GB Mechanical Hard Drive
It has no SSD and low Ram, Might want to invest in those as I did for an extra 120. price is 1500 total or 128 a month for a year if you finance through amazon.
Edit: or you may be able to Harvest some of that from your old PC depending on compatability, but that's easy to test. You don't really need more than 8 GB of ram unless you plan on running a lot of Alts at once, but definetly recommend SSD
Probably all away reading NPCs (Spells, Swords, & Stealth Book 1)
This isn't a troll response, although it may seem that way. I strongly, strongly encourage you to pick up a gaming mouse. For MMO's, its one of the best investments you can make. The problem with mages is that they use very few passive abilities bc there are so many useful utility and damage active abilities.
This gaming mouse is what I use and it cost me $35 (US).
If a gaming mouse is absolutely out of the question, I'd suggest doing alternate key binds to make more actives fit. For example, use a modifier key with your normal key presses. Shift-Q could be stealth, Shift-W could be shadow step, and shift-E could be leech if you're playing enigmatist (these are always at your fingertips and your step-to-sleep combo is right next to each other). Experiment with different key combos to see what you like, but remember that alt is the default self-cast button, so I'd stay away from that.
Live support. Ask them if you can purchase the pack for a different account instead when they ask what email account it is for. They might have a solution for you.
You could also send him paypal credit and he can buy it on his account himself.
Not sure if there is an EU alternative to this, or even if there is an updated version with the newer packs. http://www.amazon.com/ArcheAge-Gold-Secrets-Pack-Download/dp/B00WAE9QC2/ref=sr_1_17?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1437434894&sr=1-17
I never had a problem with graphics going black till after 1.7b came out, i'm using this because i travel from time to time http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00MMMMMX2?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00
Hands down the best gaming headphones I've ever owned. Sound quality is amazing....booming lows and crisp highs. Worth every penny.
I'd highly recommend the KOSS SB45 Cheap, comfortable, and reliable.
