Well it makes it a bit less breathtaking, but i made a python program to take a text file and make it into a bind for me. So not too much time was wasted for the shits and giggles.

WARNING LOUD
Here it is at the end. Someone's talking at the end in the background wherever the voice actor was recording.
I got confused thinking it was the director from tf2's actual lore
Here's the last 0.75s of the voice line slammed with compression to exaggerate the director, might help some of you who have trouble hearing it: https://clyp.it/t5o5j20d
EDIT: It's pretty loud, prepare your earholes.
I got a message on Steam of a .scr file (which is really a virus, diguised as a screensaver). I saved it, and opened it in dotPeek (a C# decompiler) which allowed me to see the (pseudo)source code. The strings are intact, which allowed me to see this.

NO MANDATORY UPDATE HAS BEEN RELEASED
Three hours ago, the Windows, MacOSX, and Linux clients were updated and dropped in size by ~30MB. The updates were only to remove the pre-Halloween 2013 branch.
Servers have not been updated. No update announcement has been made. This is not Halloween.
Gary Schwartz didn't upload this.
This was probably one of the backer rewards from his recent KickStarter. I know that I have an 8"x10" of the Heavy with it signed by Mr. Schwartz with "Powerlord is credit to team" written on it and a sound spray with him saying the same phrase in the Heavy's voice.
Sadly, the only people who hear sound sprays are those who set cl_customsounds 1
in their autoexec.cfg.

Edit: and unlike what /u/Elvis_the_Typhlosion said, the playing pieces in that set are the bomb cart, cow silhouette, tower of hats, balloonicorn, level one sentry, and Saxxy; and Teufort is present on the green Pennsylvania Avenue space.

Edit: This "developer" basically renames popular games and make then as his. Check his profile, Metro 2033 and TF are the same games.
It gives you a download for a file that is named "Sound Plugin.exe", which some people will fail to recognize as a threat and execute.
In fact it is a 7zip self extracting archive, containing 2 files (obfuscated javascript and a visual basic script (that just pops up a message box saying "This program cannot be run in this OS")).
These two scripts get autoexecuted upon succesful extraction.
The beefy part is the obfuscated javascript. It would take me some time to decypher that one, but I see it may be getting some data from web server and execute them.
Edit: It downloads a few files. One of them is this 'https://www.myflare.com/0/io/hotlink/_nG281JOEeWxaAICrBEAbg/arhiv'. Password protected file containing some dll files and executables in systemx64 directory. I think I could find the password in the scripts, but I don't know if it is worth the trouble.
Edit2: The password is "BOSSLOVEMONEY" for anyone that would like to look inside, but you better know what you are doing!
Edit3: still interested? The code in the archive is some kind of exploit that connects to a server (some chinese-registered domain pudgenormpers.com) that probably gives it commands. Seeing that, I won't dig any further.
Edit4: Looking at the client32.exe binary, it seems to be this: http://systemexplorer.net/file-database/file/client32-exe/24839247

This is a bar graph that displays the duration of days between major TF2 updates. I thought a visual representation would be interesting seeing as this is a somewhat hot topic on this sub right now.
It is hard (at least for me) to draw any meaningful conclusions from this data, seeing as there's no defined trend. One thing I did notice, however, is that the longest durations for the most part occur after the Christmas Updates, with the next update coming usually anywhere from late May to late June. The longest duration between two major updates was between Australian Christmas 2011 and Pyromania (195 days), with the Australian Christmas Update being released on December 15, 2011 and the Pyromania Update being released on June 27, 2012.
Currently we have gone 182 days without a major update, the last one being Smissmass 2014 (released Decemeber 22, 2014).
Credit to the TF2 Wiki for the update release dates and to plot.ly for the awesome graph-making tools.
I don't play Overwatch, but apparently its community doesn't like people who are "one-trickers," which are essentially people who play exclusively as a single character, no matter what.
Article about it: https://kotaku.com/top-symmetra-players-overwatch-bans-wont-stop-him-from-1821268210
Yeah so I guess a tl:dr would be a guy got banned for maining a character after a bunch of people reported him for poor teamwork
You are a first time unusual unboxer and I assume new to this game (F2P) here is a hint of advice.
DO NOT SELL IT (Or at least not just yet)
All unusuals unboxed this hallowing will have these new effects, so the new effects will become increasingly rare after halloween mode ends. The Hermes is a new and popular hat for a popular class. I imagine your hat is extremely valuable.
Go to an unusual server when all this dies down, get that thing price checked by multiple people, and start selling on SourceOP. Do not set a buyout until you get an idea of what kind of offers to expect.
Since I assume you have somewhat low playtime and a newly unboxed unusuals, you may be added by "sharks." Sharks prey on new players who do not know the value of their rare items. Do not talk to one. For more information on sharks look here.
OPTION 2: Hold onto it because it's badass.
Apparently there is actually a significant minority of people that write TF2 fanfiction that "ship" the characters together. Most of them are not avid players of the game, which would be apparent as they assume that the characters are all in love with each other. Despite all of them practically being sociopaths and crazy.

Knight to f3
You know, I need to go to sleep. Could we pick this up at 12:00PM San Francisco time?
There won't be a season 2 for a while unless they adapt the webcomic. The manga isn't far ahead enough to fill a second season yet.
And there might not ever be a second season because the studio producing it pulled a bunch of strings and got a bunch of animators from outside their company to assist with production. If they can't manage to pull it off a second time (It's only been done once before in the entire history of anime, I think), either the quality will go down significantly or they just won't make a second season. :(
But yeah, if you haven't watched it yet and grew up watching shows like DBZ, Naruto, Bleach, etc, you'll probably love One Punch Man because it's a mild parody of the genre those shows fall into. You can watch the show for free if you go here and make a free account.
This may be an unpopular opinion, but steam is 13+, while TF2 is 17+. If I hear a squeaker in the chat, I will indeed issue a votekick on them. I will mute them if it doesn't pass and if they're being exceptionally annoying(micspaming, swearing, etc). There are some people under the required ages for the game that can be respectful and helpful to the team, but normally they are just an annoyance and a hindrance to the rest of the players.
You can get it even if it's unavailable for your country.
The way i did it, I went to the SteamDB page and click on the install button. Go through all the steps until they say it's unavailable in your country. Then close steam(not quit it) and launch Steam Achievement Manager(make sure you're not running any game with VAC, TF2 being one of them or you'll get VAC-banned).
If done correctly, AVA should be in the list of games that you have. Select that and unlock the 1st One Down achievement. Quit SAM after you unlocked it and launch TF2. The Black Rose should in your inventory.
Source: Got it using the aforementioned method because I'm from Singapore(one of the unavailable countries)
i hope this comment helped you get that knife. ;)
Mirror:
>In just under a month, we'll start accepting entries for five-minute shorts made with the Source Filmmaker, Valve's filmmaking tool. You'll be able to submit in five different categories (Best Action, Best Drama, Best Comedy, Best Original Universe and Best Overall) with the hope of taking home a Saxxy at the star-studded Second Annual Saxxy Awards. So if you've got an SFM opus in you, crack those knuckles and get creating — November 1st'll be here in no time.
>Also, a couple of quick changes for entrants:
>### We've Added a Replay Category
>The Source Filmmaker is the perfect resource for creators looking to dramatize the TF2 mercenaries' off-hours — but after we announced the Saxxy rules, we realized we'd under-represented some of the great dramatic, comedic or just plain violently entertaining moments in-game. So we've added a new category to celebrate all the creators out there who'd rather make their movie magic on the battlefield.
>### You Can Use Non-SFM Tools for Post-Production
>Because the SFM didn't ship with a few post-production features, like titling and transitions, we've decided to let people use other effects and editing tools for this year's contest.
>Remember, though, that nothing makes us happier than people using and giving feedback on the SFM. We want this tool to keep getting better and better, and to do that, we'll need creative folks like you pushing the SFM in new directions.
That's Google recaptcha.
> reCAPTCHA doesn’t depend solely on text distortions to separate man from machines. Rather it uses advanced risk analysis techniques, considering the user’s entire engagement with the CAPTCHA, and evaluates a broad range of cues that distinguish humans from bots.
It looks simple but it actually does a lot of checks to keep bots away. The reality is, most bots are not moving the mouse at all, they are using things like Steam's official API or reverse engineering the chat protocols. They manage the data directly, they don't actually move the mouse or click anything. Things like tracking mouse movement are actually a decent way to make sure someone really is human, although Google is vague on how exactly reCaptcha works.
I've heard this too. No idea if it's true. A quick search for "you better listen.jpg" didn't turn up anything relevant (except a copy of OP's image).
Edit: actually, I'm going to agree with him that this is the original. Reasons:
Pretty convincing if you ask me.
If I'm not mistaken, it's in reference to the Roblox Death Sound (Actually spelled uuhhh). Speaking as someone who spends an inappropriate amount of time on the site for his age, it hurts me every time I see it.

The silent treatment thing from valve is unacceptable. The same thing that happened to tf2 has also happened to CS:GO many times. I'm so sick of valve releasing seemingly untested updates without asking the community. Remember when the phlog was OP? The CS:GO revolver "Wild West"? Meanwhile, tf2's biggest competitor, Overwatch, is gearing up to release a large update and whats this!? A Public Testing Region!?! Full patch notes before release?!?!? Valve needs to take a page from Blizzard on how to release an update and communicate with it's players.
Blizzard's Method: https://playoverwatch.com/en-us/blog/20178523
I made your SFM into my wallpaper on my phone http://i.giphy.com/fwSXu9gQ7SiwU.gif
LG G4, Marshamallow I used this to set the GIF as my wallpaper.
It slows it down a bit, but it is cool.
nice animation =)
This, my boy. Just choose "WillFromAfar".

Somehow, I doubt you spend excessive amounts of time perusing suit collections or cigarette cases on youtube.
If you want to say frag videos, say frag videos.
http://store.steampowered.com/app/440/Team_Fortress_2
The page on steam for the game is still advertising Tough Break instead of Meet your Match. Not that it leads to the TB update page, just the TF2 page with no context, really. Like you were supposed to click that and find the announcement of the new TF2 update.
It's those little details that just kind of bug me and really shouldn't be dependent on a team having 5 or 50 people working on the game.
It about time Valve updated their TF2 Steam store beta screenshots.
Some of these screens are worth thousand unusuals. I would LOVE to see them added in the in the official Steam store.
How about something like these? Not exact, sadly, but it could work in a pinch.
Give a man a cookie and he'll eat for a day. Teach a man to make fake internet cookies and he'll never eat again while he wastes away his life in front of his browser window. On second thoughts, don't click that link.
> Remember, they had an arrangement with TF2 mobile... And it turned into them endorsing it.
[citation heavily needed]
Because that's still absolutely gone from the Google Play Store.
Being in a similar situation to yourself I used SAM to reset my "longest life" stats and my most kills with engineer (which was 80+ from playing on a skial server vs bots many, many years ago).
It's time consuming to do but you only have to do it once! Here's how you do it.
ShareX is an amazing screen-capture program if you want to customize anything. Anything.. You name it, ShareX does it.
One example is that you can record a gif and have it uploaded, then the link copied to clipboard.. all with just 1 hotkey.
I'm not sure you understand economics. At all.
Here you can learn about microeconomics and macroeconomics.
Have fun.
Quote from this article.
"Some bots can get past the text CAPTCHAs on their own. Researchers have demonstrated ways to write a program that beats the image recognition CAPTCHAs as well. In addition, attackers can use click farms to beat the tests"
Basically, there are ways around it. Read the article for more info
A lot of feedback for TF2 Classic would be very good right now, more people helping out/ getting other people to play TF2 classic, with game modes such as : VIP, Overpowered, Espionage, 4 team, deathmatch it be really helpful seeing as they have a lot interesting gamemode ideas that could be interesting.
Here, Espionage is a good example of an interesting game mode thats isn't out yet but that seems to have a lot of thought put into it that look interesting.
The team have great concept art for characters, teams and maps, which is a good indication that they are thinking about this project all the way through.
Check the Team Fortress 2 Classic Trello page for more, hats not included.
Scientific Illustration actually. It was taught by the artist in residence there at the museum (who is my favorite person ever) and if you visit, her work is in practically every exhibit. If I went back to college I'd just take 18 credits of that course a semester.

There are a few sites that let a person look through backpacks and find items they are interested in. Taken from an article about sharks:
TF2items premium search (http://www.tf2items.com/search/) is the main tool these sharks use to track down their prey. It costs $5/month and employs an effective algorithm to search anyone’s backpack with any hat and any effect; it couldn’t be simpler. Its sorts the list by Item ID, which means the ones near the top are the ones recently traded or unboxed (which is what sharks go after). With the push of a button, you go to their backpack and check the item history to confirm whether it was unboxed or traded. Sharks usually check for low TF2 hours, low-value items in their bp, no trading friends, and no item history. With another simple click, they add the noob and wait to trick them.
Predictions:
Hopefully Valve hires new people for their teams, as they're moving to a twice as big headquarters.
MatchMaking will be more playable.
TF2 Competitive will be somewhat more popular than its current state.
It's actually a graphic novel which has been around for a while, also free to download from their website - would recommend playing if you have spare time:

Thanks. With this, the "join steam group to get a ticket", all I need to do to get my ~~summer shades~~ third ticket for free is...Link a Facebook Profile in Steam...
...Ugh, seriously? Like I'd ever want to use Facebook. Hopefully I can trick Steam into linking to someone else's account.
EDIT: I created a Facebook profile named "Spy Disses" with an e-mail account from http://www.guerrillamail.com/ that will expire shortly. I have linked my steam profile to it, although I don't see any change on my steam profile that would suggest I've done this.
By the way, I was so paranoid about Facebook's cookies and crap that used my family's computer to do this.
Excuse me wtf
rd_asteroid has The Art of War (AKA the votekick song) playing when the round's about to end, and I've never been bothered by it. Although I can't think of many other instances where music would be appropriate.
Get https://store.steampowered.com/app/31280/Poker_Night_at_the_Inventory/ and beat the rabbit guy when he offers his gun. Or buy a vintage one off the steam market. I don't think you can craft it, or maybe i'm an idiot.
I use Q to swap between primary and secondary
F goes to Melee.
If your on melee Q always goes to primary.
It's a modified version of the Comp TF2 config
Nightteam, Saigns and a few other servers have premium benefits for anyone who pays money. These can include invincibility, invisibility, building 3 sentries etc.
The reason servers disable crits is because it makes for a more balanced gameplay, where one random crit rocket wont ruin a push or a defence.
The reddit servers are great, Hampshire Heavies are also good (They have both crit and no-crit servers)
A good rule, don't join servers with more than 24 players if you want to play a good game.

This is a link to my blacklist file. Download it and put it in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\Yourusername\team fortress 2\tf\cfg

Hope this helps. If you have any more questions add me
Thanks very much! The pizza missions were created and tuned ferociously by Hans Wakelin. Pizza delivery was my favorite thing to do, too, over the last 3-4 months or so of development. I think only Hans and a few of the QA staff were ever able to complete them all.
Yes because it isn't his IP.. it's outbound. Resolves to a canada server.. valve does not (to my knowledge) have a canadian routing group/datacenter. However, bottom group of the fonts have a weird aliasing compared to the top part. the top part and the bottom buttons also has carried over the various specs and jpeg artifacts from the original image.. even the "Trial" small letter L's compression artifact and "Trojan" small letter n compression artifact has been carried over.
edit: - > correct directory
dubious. it's conveniently cut out.
covered this, already just going to mention this again that the aliasing of the fonts do not match.
Resolves to a Canada address. I have here the registered IP ranges for Valve. feel free to verify if that outbound connection above matches https://ipinfo.io/AS32590
I know OP has already gotten his question answered, but in case any future people come across this thread looking for a way to get their killsound working, here's another thing you should check.
The hitsound/killsound needs to be:
Many people get those last two wrong, and it causes the killsound to not play at all. You can check/change these values with a free program called Audacity.
I'm pretty sure there were a few some time ago.
And googling "Valve boot camp server" gives me a few IPs of dead ones on gametracker, like this one.
Someone posted this on the other thing:
I made your SFM into my wallpaper on my phone http://i.giphy.com/fwSXu9gQ7SiwU.gif LG G4, Marshamallow I used this to set the GIF as my wallpaper. It slows it down a bit, but it is cool. nice animation =)
Just download the app and the gif, and you can make the gif your background
Just to make what /u/Dylamb said blatantly clear, the answer is a resounding NO. I understand how tempting opening crates is, but it's really only gambling and when you're gambling, the house always wins.
Just to get a sense of how much money you can lose from the game, I'd recommend checking out the TF2 Crate Simulator. I play that for a little bit and I lose all temptation to open up those expensive crates.
I made one with all the saigns and nighteam servers I could find:
Just follow the instructions :)
Gametracker only lists these 5 servers , but they're quite empty.
Unrelated, but I loved that map when it first came out. People even made a few lobbies on tf2lobby with the map, it was great.
Your math is off. The OP has had the game for 183 days^1 , and has played it for 516 hours.
516 / 183 = 2.82 hours/day.
l4d3 and source 2 were confirmed in production when they were "leaked"
edit* this link isn't to the "leak" but a simple google search should confirm
I'm not sure if there are any backpack simulators, but there are few sites that may or may not satisfy your collecting urge.
Apologies in advanced if you already heard of these sites. [](/sp) Here's one for crafting weapon into metal and into hat, no idea how it will help you but it's a nice time waster. [](/sp) Here's one for unboxing crates without having to spend money on keys. It's nice to see how much money one would have spend on such a large number of crates.

I use Open Broadcaster Software myself. It's often used for streaming games but you can also record to a file with it. It's free, fairly easy to setup, and works with TF2 well.
I created a Pushbullet channel that will alert you whenever a stress test goes live. That way you can get alerts on your phone or computer even when Steam isn't open. The alerts are pulled from this Steam group.
It looks like its cp_toy_fort_alt3
Found here: http://tf2.gamebanana.com/maps/97314
Or at least some variation of toy fort that is. If you're looking for a server then the only one I've seen populated is The Dude's Garage which is usually populated on evenings and weekends, but is only the original Toy Fort map.
The site won't update until 1 AM UTC. You can watch this countdown timer if you want.
edit: The egg, it is all over my face.
Actually, if you want to play TF2 on the go, I'd suggest Gangfort! Pretty neat app, here's a review of it, if you are interested
Download from here: https://www.mediafire.com/?bgyatc25602y7ir
Music blatantly stolen from this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X9i93cKNIeo
If you have a suggestion, or a request for a sound mod, let me know!
According to this they just get 2 "random" players joining the conversation between the scammer and the victim on how the scammer is trustworthy and is giving away free stuff because he is quitting the game. Than if the victim is dumb enough they play the trust game where someone trades 1 ref and the other players have to top that. Of course the 3 of them are from the same group and the victim agrees to give away stuff for nothing. I don't know how someone can be that dumb but whatever it's their money.
Why would this be necessary? Just buy the album off of the store and you can play any song on-demand through Steam's music player. If you already have the music downloaded somewhere then just add the directory to the Steam player through Steam's settings.
This would be a completely useless feature with Steam's music player already existing.
The soundtrack in its entirety is already on places like YouTube and Spotify as well.
The advertised hats were from the Scala Collection, which run on average at about $20 a hat. Since refined metal equates nearly 1:1 to dollars*, we can say that the average real world hat from this ad is going to cost about 18 TF2 refined metals.
*1 key from valve store = $2.50, 1 key trades for 2.11 - 2.33 refined)
Yes you can, it just takes a bit of work. I don't use OSX anymore so it's probably different than it was before, but this guide looks about right. You don't need to know how to use terminal to make this work.
If anyone wants to donate Ive setup a paypal donation link here: https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=TA7LA3N25VZRN
Its for a really great cause guys so im hoping we can all get behind it! Ill be covering any costs of the video myself, so dont worry, 100% of what you donate WILL go to the charity.
I think these have a more cartoony feel. The GG2 sprites are truer to the original character proportions.
For people who haven't played Gang Garrison, it's a demake of TF2 done in a side scrolling, retro game style. It's fun and you should play it. http://www.ganggarrison.com/
Why not? The Pyro is already in Killing Floor.
(That said, this Pyro does look an awful lot like the Killing Floor Pyro. Not identical, but close enough to make me wonder. Do we have a source for this?)
There's a gamemode called class warfare that is exactly this, in case anyone is wondering. It's pretty fun. Here's a class warfare server (IP: 193.192.59.191).
It's generating an RSS feed, that's perfectly normal. It's basically all of the HTML on the front page.

Math says on average you're almost always better off selling the crate if it's rare enough to be opened at all. You're experiences and luck do not apply to everyone. Some people are always going to win, that doesn't mean it's a good idea to gamble.
For those who want to see a bit of proof as well as finding out how they scam then take a look at their invitational letter here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1TTA-V9xVu84M0lVtjY16QTA9c_P40rkVj18L-RkPhD0/edit?hl=da
> It takes skill
True, and completely irrelevant to the entire argument I gave that Kritz isn't an acceptable substitute for team-wide random crits. Even on the rare occasion people use it, it's still extremely limited.
>But considering everyone cried to nerf amby, which takes skill by the way, I wouldn't be surprised if you didn't care about that one.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Association_fallacy I never once mentioned Ambassador, I'm not even sure how it got into this discussion, and I didn't support its nerf. Try sticking to the argument instead of throwing in red herrings, buddy boy.
>nobody is satisfied
[citation needed]
just because YOU aren't satisfied by crits doesn't mean nobody is: https://www.strawpoll.me/2317837/r
>AHAHAHAHAHAH SO FUN BEING A BAD SPAMMER
Saying it in allcaps doesn't make it stop being true, there are plenty of people who love playing Casual TF2 for their silly builds like Sticky Jumper Demopan which are aided by random crits.
>Everyone who argues for crits talks about them "helping noobs" (when in reality, if you can do basic 3rd grade math, you can realize that it favors pubstompers actually), or "satisfaction", which can be achieved by waiting for kritz and wiping entire server, giving satisfaction to both the person who aimed well, and medic who actually survived, because nobody fucking likes medics, and enemy team can only blame themselves because it's not RNG, unlike random crits, lmao,
This is really hard to read. Did you have a stroke here?
>care to provide real arguments for crits
That's not how the burden of proof works. You want them gone, you provide the arguments for removing them.
> He doesn't make almost any videos lately, but his not-tf2 related videos are great.
I think you mean "He doesn't make almost any TF2 videos lately", since he's uploaded a crap-ton of Overwatch in the past month.
Also, Jerma's upload rate has slowed, that's true, but that's probably because of how often he streams these days.
I see it all the time on earthbound related videos referencing how it looks like undertale, saying that unfounded revenge is a rip off of papy's theme etc. You can say that it's "just trolling" but it's in the same vein of what OP posted.
Plus who needs a "source" for something that you can see for yourself. I mean it's not like he's the only one saying that there are undertake fans claiming that mother is a rip off.
Here's a joke petition mocking those who believe that mother is a rip off: https://www.change.org/p/earthbound-earthbound-copied

All fandoms have undesirable members and that's just an aspect of the undertale Fandom. He's not "making the Fandom look bad" it's just doing it to itself.
(I'm an undertale fan myself so :p)
> is if when you sign up for a steam account, you have to assign a mobile number to it. I fucking hate websites that constantly want numbers after account creation
One alternative to mobile numbers is to simply slightly increase the time it takes to create a Steam account https://store.steampowered.com/join/, and make it more difficult to automate.
This would slow down cheaters who spam hundreds of accounts, and at the very least mildly annoy them.
That shouldn't happen unless you have a really ridiculous DPI and/or windows sensitivity. It can also happen if your game stutters, as this causes a delay in the snapping of the cursor back to the center of the window.
you should try out Natural Selection then. The first one was a mod of Half Life 1, and is kinda dead server wise, but number 2 is in development. The only problem is that its been in development for goddamn forever, and while there is a beta out, its nowhere near a finished product.
Even if that was the case, they could just generally inform us they are considering a few options, etc. They may not even name the exact options, just that there are a few. Looking at friday facts on factorio homepage makes me realize how much can be done, but maybe factorio player base is generally better behaved and patient.
you don't need a great computer to play tf2. it has surprisingly low requirements. you can check therm here steam site. this comp has well over the minimum. recommended is 3 ghz processor and 1g of ram. you have 3.2 ghz and 4 g of ram. so yes.
Go to store.steampowered.com/app/440 (the TF2 store page).
Scroll down, click Add to Cart
On the cart page, click Purchase as Gift
From there you can either send him a key through email to be activated on Steam or directly to his Steam account.
I don't know why the option was removed exactly. I suspect that they just didn't want to maintain two different video exports.
You do have other options though. If I'm exporting demos to an editable video format, I use OBS to record the demo as I play it back. I can record it to a variety of different formats and at whatever quality I want. Recently the option to use the NVEC (nvidia) encoder was added and I've noticed a significant improvement in FPS and performance while recording or streaming. This particular option is helpful if you have an Nvidia GPU but OBS will work with whatever.
There are other game capture tools out there like Fraps. I like OBS because it's relatively easy and it's completely free.
I did figure it out from your reddit post which was only a little more than two weeks ago.
Also going this useful utility AaronIceGem's stainless pot has only been renamed 16 days ago, shortly after your reddit post, so it is not unlikely he two figured out it was because of the post.

It's an EU server, but it's polish and you can only speak polish there.
Quick rules:
-Do not cap during Saxton Hale as any team
-Do not camp during Saxton Hale as a Boss
-Do not fire through props during Fort Wars (this includes Pomson, Bizon and Flamethrower)
-On dodgeball do not steal rockets (if a rocket comes towards you there will be a beep sound, if there is no beep sound then you can only reflect the rocket in direct danger)
-Do not advertise anything except TF2 hats.
-If you want to speak on voicechat, speak polish. You can talk without mutation but don't scream.
When admins aren't around then these are just gentlemen rules, if admins are around (you can check it by writing !admins in chat) then failure to comply (except the voicechat rule) will result in a slay, kick and on repeated offense ban, failure to comply on the last rule will result in a gag.
