I've been playing a bit of Miniclip 8 ball pool. I play a lot of pool in real life and it really helps with assessing the break layout and decision making. The p2w aspect is a joke. You can easily win games with the bog-standard cue. The stats you gain are nothing compared to a good eye. Here's a gameplay vid, this one is for a whopping one million chips. Recommended watching as it also shows a secret break of mine:

8 Ball Pool everything else is too childish and reliant on the freemium model; even this game is ruined by it because it means people with no skill can buy more powerful and accurate cues and just hit random balls.
Best 3D: ShootersPool
Best 2D: Miniclip Pool (It's an Android game but you can play on PC using an Android Emulator like this: https://www.mumuglobal.com/ )
I think I understand what’s going on — do you only play on the website version of pool? Not mobile? Because that would explain everything. Website games are full of hackers. Actually all games are full of hackers, but pc games more than everything else.
Mobile games are much much better, never seen hackers or bots (maybe there still are? but I only play on London anyway). Here, I can post reviews too https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.miniclip.eightballpool&hl=en how do you explain those? Do you think Miniclip has 15 million people working for them leaving those good reviews? Or developed bots to leave those good reviews? Because both Apple and Google can detect fake reviews and developers are banned for those.
Now which is more trustworthy — 16 million good reviews on google play store, or 70 bad reviews on whatever website that is? Seems you are only reading what you want to read.
My advice would be coming to mobile, you can even log in with your same account.
I'm good with top and back spins if centred. I want to improve the side, side bottom, side top spin knowledge...

If you mean the pool game, here it is.
Touchgrind Skate 2 is nice (iOS - $4.99, Android - free/$1.99-per-park/$4.99-all-parks), but I only just bought it yesterday after playing the free course on Android for a couple months. Levels are big (paid ones are huge), and trick set is based more on your abilities than anything (but only flip/grind/stall other than power slide and nollie/switch/fakie). Unlike the first one you can now Darkslide (!!! [grind on upside-down board]), and the view is [more like] first person rather than top-down. You can even set a custom restart point to warp back to when you hit the "refresh/reset" button in the little menu. There's a bunch of decks, griptape, wheels, and stickers (that you unlock by playing) that you can slightly customize your board with - stickers aren't resizable, and you can't pick colors or change trucks but they've got some nice options. Each level has challenges & a competition mode (and some challenges need to be done in competition; comp is just "beat the score" there is no AI skating or score generation for imaginary opposing skaters), or you can play Jam Session to skate without a timer which is nice for exploring or just screwing around with a line. The game does have some clipping/physics issues where you can go through parts of the "map" or will go flying from a bug (ollie when under a rail, occasionally happens at other times). Judging from the lack of updates to v1 I don't think they'll fix the issues quickly - if ever - but they're uncommon & I like the game enough that it was worth the $5 to me. You can leave it open in the background and switch to another app, and it will be waiting (though it doesn't pause, so if you're mid-trick it's going be a late landing).
Miniclip 8-ball Pool (Android, iOS) is another freemium game, but with hourly & daily bonuses it's pretty easy to play for free & if you're good - and kinda crazy - you can play all in games where someone is gonna walk away poor (first to 2 wins in a row takes all, can take a while). It doesn't stay running in the background really, but does try to restart quickly if you do switch to another app or it gets disconnected from net. Real-time multiplayer, so it's best over WiFi (may use a bit of data + more likely to disconnect on cellular connection).
Trivia Crack (Android, iOS; ad-based/$2.99) is nice if you like trivia games, but it is a freemium game whether or not you buy the ad-free version. It is plenty easy to set some cards for bonuses (coins = buy spins, spins = re-spin the wheel for a different question category, hearts = used to start games). You can leave it running in the background while doing anything other than answering a question and it will wait for you; questions are on a timer that doesn't pause.
If you have problems with fine grain control the pool game probably wouldn't be much good, and the skating game may be slightly difficult but should be playable.
hmmm, I meant this.... https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.miniclip.eightballpool&hl=en
