No way a large government run bureaucracy could mess something up like the reporting of an incident that should have disqualified someone from buying a gun.
The book "Becoming a Supple Leopard" recommends practicing getting into the squat position for ten minutes everyday to get you hips loose. This positively affects your legs, knees and all.

Mt Baker and Mt Rainier in Washington have the highest (recorded) in North America, but there's likely places in Alaska that are more, but not measured.
Porn has always been filled with rapists. It started with Linda Lovelace having a gun pointed at her during shoots & will continue to be exploitive so long as it’s around. You don’t know if the porn you’re watching is consensual, but most of the people watching it don’t give a shit about that to begin with.
[edit] Posting this here so it won’t be buried in comments:
“Lovelace maintained that Tryanor had controlled and manipulated her. He would beat her until she was bruised and he forced her into prostitution, saying he’d kill her if she didn’t comply and that she would be “just another dead hooker shot in her hotel room.”
Traynor himself admitted that he hit Lovelace, but said it was part of a voluntary sex game.
In another shocking admission, Lovelace exposed the seedy underbelly of Deep Throat and said that in the film she was actually being raped.
When asked why she was shown smiling when she was actually being deeply abused, she responded that it was either smile or die.”
Linda Boreman was the star of Deep Throat and wrote a book called Ordeal where she told her version of things. Her husband/pimp/abuser admitted to hitting her but said it was “bdsm” when that wasn’t the case. She divorced him and got remarried. Deep Throat is said to be the first ever pornographic film.
Furthermore, I would REALLY encourage people to look at testimonials from people who’ve left the porn industry (both male and female). There are horror stories & the whole thing is rotten from bottom up, but what can you expect from an industry that was built on rape and has people excuse said rape to bust a nut?

Also 64k black women missing too, and when's the last time one of them got the obnoxious round-the-clock media coverage 🤔. <strong>Baylor University’s Dr. Mia Moody-Ramirez wrote an interesting study on this</strong>

I got this app that forces me to carry my phone to the bathroom and scan an NFC sticker before the alarm turns off. It also has the option of making you do a puzzle, but I would just get angry and pull the battery out after failing to solve "3 x 7 = " at 6 a.m.
edit: Puzzle alarm clock. Any generic NFC stickers from amazon will do, I think I paid like $8 for 10 or something. Obviously your phone has to support NFC though if you want to use the stickers. Apparently it will work with printable QR codes too.

Like I always knew, but I never saw it summed up like this. What's important is that we get the help we need, whether it be from positive outlets, counselors, ministers, etc. and not try to self-medicate through mindless habits, drugs, shallow friendships/relationships, etc. Whether we come from bad families or no families, its important to get help. Because if these issues aren't tackled now, whenever you start your own significant relationships and families, they're going to be effected negatively or even replicated, and maybe even passed on to your kids.

Exit polling showed that the first issue for Trump voters was immigration followed by national security. Economy was a distant third. So don't let anyone tell you it wasn't racism. It was racism lol. It was fear of brown people taking jobs and blowing things up.

There's a book called Nickle and Dimed where a journalist did some minimum wage jobs for a while. She pointed out near the end that while it sucked, she knows she didn't get the real experience because she always knew it was going to end at some point and she could just go back to her regular life. It was still interesting seeing someone who never had to work that way have to deal with that kind of budget and jobs and shitty managers and whatnot.
That is not accurate. The first colonies in North America were the Roanoke Colony (failed) and the Jamestown (successful) colonies of Virginia. These were founded by Sir Walter Raleigh and the Virginia Company of London respectively.
The colonies of Virginia engaged in absolutely fucking intense warfare with the Powhatan tribes of the region and almost completely eradicated them in order to turn their lands into tobacco plantations because the way natives practiced agriculture was not conducive to large scale tobacco production. You are wrong sir.
I recommend reading Charles C. Mann's 1493: Uncovering the New World Columbus Created for further clarity on the subject.
Yeah, I gotta agree. I had this happen at a small office I used to work at. I was friends with the IT guy so I asked him if I could stick something like this in the corner of the break room.
That along with a note on the fridge and magically, the thefts stopped.

Weirdly enough, all emotional states are survival techniques that can become learned, unconscious, repetitive algorithms just like brushing our teeth . Depression can be viewed as the wonderful "hero" that can put us in a hopeless/helpless mode of submission when we are in danger and fighting or fleeing are not viable. Recurring depression usually comes from early life experiences where the 4 things you just listed were actually helpful belief systems to hinder activity that could bring immense shame/harm to you.
For example, if trying to connect with my parent always leaves me feeling like I am annoying them, concluding that "no one cares" will help me from approaching others and potentially facing this feeling of being let down and being an annoyance. When we learn early on that approaching connection makes things worse, and one cannot control or escape their experience, submission is your best choice.
"You are a burden" is nothing more than a survival mechanism that helped you survive extremely difficult, perhaps traumatic experiences. Weird, huh?
If you'd like to read more, I recommend Janina Fischer's book https://www.amazon.com/Healing-Fragmented-Selves-Trauma-Survivors/dp/0415708230

Best thing is; once you have it working you can simply install OpenVPN on any PC and copy the config file. It just works. Wife wanted it on her PC. No problem. Install OpenVPN and copy the config file to the appropriate directory. Works like a champ.

In West Africa most of the land was owned by the state often literally the king himself.this contrasts with Western Europe where we know many nobles and lords had vast landholdings and used them as a measure of status. In west Africa slaves were the main form of personal property a wealthy person could own. Thus the incentive between plantation slavery and that of west Africa is different.
In plantation slavery the slave is similar to livestock, only kept as long as they can be physically productive. In African slavery the slave is a status symbol in and of itself entirely separate from their economic productivity. With this in mind, an African slave owner would be directly damaging their wealth and prestige by behaving in a way that was overwhelmingly detrimental to that of their slaves (for example working them to death). There's more to this...I can add specifics later but I can't remember off the top of my head.
Charles C Mann's 1493: Uncovering the New World Columbus Created devotes a pretty decently sized chapter to talking about the different conditions that helped slavery take the form it did in the Americas.
Slaves were neither free or tax free. Funny how we change history based on our interpretation and not facts...

well let's pretend you were genuinely curious (and ignore that any of that information is freely available by searching "donald trump division" or that you didn't quote each item listed as if each was a lie) and start with this article. just a google search.
there are plenty of reasons donald trump has been called divisive. i think a better approach to disagreeing with that premise would be to reassure people why he isnt, rather than just denying it (or blaming the DNC or HC even though you haven't done that yet).

Well flag code isn't a law, so as truly disrespectful as wearing an American Flag Speedo, or wearing an actual flag as a cape may be, it's not illegal. Same way it's not illegal to burn the flag.
Edit: As u/Giovanni_bertuccio pointed out below and upon further research, I take back what I said. It is law, but punishment is not enforced Here's his comment
"The flag code is law - it's in the US Code, hence the name. That code has provisions to punish those who violate the code. Those provisions have been deemed unconstitutional by the Supreme Court, because they would punish people for free speech.
So the code is effectively an on-your-honr thing unless your job requires following it."
Edit 2: Here's the Wiki article about it: https://www.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Flag_Code
Oh they break, But I don't have to pay a premium for a brand name and nearly ever other electronic device you buy comes with it's own cable.

And it's not like I'm breaking them constantly in the first place. I've used the same cable for years across multiple devices.

Can't find the article I read a long time ago about it, but some quick googling brought up this.
1) I grew up in a community that does not use Onions/Garlic in cooking. Now, I chop these before I even know what I am making. So now when I visit family and they ask me to cook; I am stumped!
2) The strength of the Garlic is based on the amount of prep. Chopped/minced/crushed garlic is the strongest. Sliced is lower and using whole Garlic gives you the mildest flavor. Since I like garlic; I now use a whole head of sliced garlic; regardless of the amounts called for in the recipe. The easy way to prevent yourself from going mad with all the peeling is to buy buy pre peeled garlic. I am too cheap for that. But I do use a Garlic Peeler to make my life easier.
3) Stay away from those Garlic in mesh sleeves (3-5 in a mesh bag) imported from China. The refrigeration and the shipping makes them lose their strength. Buy loose Garlic whenever possible. When you peel and it feels sticky; that's when you know you got fresh Garlic!
Things I have learned as a later in life converted Garlic aficionado.
First year, but this is why I got into it. I had a question about how were the German people swayed to follow Hitler, and I was handed a book. Then I wanted more. Then I took a World War 2 class and read this book.

Some of this is true, but any brick and mortar that got crushed just refused to adapt. You look at Walmart, they upped the online game, started online to store pick up, started offering 2 day shipping. Target too.
Then you look at someone like Toys R Us who did like...almost none of those things. And died. Netflix vs Blockbuster is another one. You can't blame the innovator for the death of the stubborn.

I'm not defending all their practices, I'm just saying all the other big companies that they "killed" aren't saints that would be above the same shit. They also have given a lot of opportunities and exposure to small and international businesses. Gotta see both sides

Evicted: Poverty and Profit in the American City, by Matthew Desmond discusses low-income urban housing, and his research is in line with your experience.
Its a really rough situation when you're behind on rent and your plumbing gets fucked up (in a unit that is already not up to code). You have very little leverage with the landlord, because if you were to go to the local government, you would effectively be evicting yourself, and you obviously can't afford a new place. So you end up having poor people living in horrendous conditions without basic things like clean water (or water at all).
Even though you're not paying full rent, the situation is still in the landlord's favor because, due to the unit not being up to code, the landlord would otherwise not be getting any money at all.
I highly recommend Desmond's book. It does a really good job explaining how housing keeps poor people poor, among other things.
You're right that bogus data is going to get sorted out fairly quickly, but thankfully people wouldn't make their claims looks realistic to clog up the system, right? Like you said, it would be an absolute shame if people used resources such as this comprehensive list of Texas cities, counties, and zip codes to match their Texas VPN, or submitted fake, AI generated pictures of people who supposedly took part in these abortions to make their claims look more realistic. That really would be just awful, but thankfully I know the wonderful people on this site would never abuse resources such as these, right?

Any thoughts on this blog, "Inside The Law School Scam", written by a tenured law school professor? Or the book written by the same guy? Just read his book and it turned me off to the whole idea of law school forever, but I've been struggling to figure out how credible he is.
Incorrect. Oppressors and oppressed must work together to create a system to hold each other accountable. If oppressors make the system they will continue to oppress as normal, if the oppressed make the system they will oppress their former oppressors out of a desire for retribution and also because each oppressed person only has an oppressor as their reference point for what a "non oppressed" person should be like and how they should behave. Only through cooperation and collaboration can the oppressed and the oppressors overcome the dynamic that keeps both of them stuck into their predetermined roles.

The AAUW funded a study that disproved the wage gap in 2012 but They attempted to manipulate the data to claim it proved the wage gap instead This alone ruins any credibility that they may have claimed to have. Once an organization does this you can never trust them as a source again because they have proven that all data coming from them is suspect. Taking data they provide is the same as trusting oil and mining companies to run their own environmental studies to see if their industries are liable for global warming.
