With today's hubbub over Twitch being hacked and their information being leaked, I'd like to bring up BitWarden, which is one of the better free password managers, and has been extremely useful today in securing my various accounts (because I'm a dumb-dumb who used the same password everywhere, so one leak and I had to change everything...). It was super easy to install and add everything to, and now I'm annoyed that I hadn't done it sooner.
For the martial artists: Tae Kwon Do is only around 60 years old.
~~Thesis paper I wrote for my black belt~~ Moved to Google Docs
If you want other links I'd have to look online for a bit, but there is a lot of misinformation because Korea wants to world to believe TKD is an ancient art.
EDIT: Some people think I'm saying Tae Kwon Do isn't based on older martial arts. That's not what I'm saying. I'm saying Tae Kwon Do is NOT based on Taekkyon or other so called "ancient" arts from Korea and is fact based on Karate and a little Chuan Fa. I lay this all out in great detail in my thesis.
Careful, careful... misleading title. I am french and follow technology-related legislation very closely. What happened here is that google were accused of having too strong a monopoly, as they can (ab)use their search engine to promote their own content over that of their opponents.
I do not agree nor disagree with this decision yet, as I want to know more about it before I make myself a final opinion. Just keep in mind that the title is misleading and google were not being accused of providing a free service at all here.
Anyone who speaks french can read this opinion piece to learn more about the case. They strongly take an anti-google stance there, despite being famous for defending anything free. A link to the official judgement can be found here, also in french, which is what I want to read before making my own opinion on this matter.
It is theorized that getting potatoes increases your CPU power, no idea if it's true or not but it'll help anyway. People should be playing any Potato Sack game they own, it'll help more if everybody is playing the same game though. Once we fill up a bar, we can focus everybody's attention on a different bar making the whole process faster.
The Wonderful End of the World is completed!
Right now, everyone should be playing 1...2...3... Kick It! or AaAaAA but at this point anything will help, Killing Floor really needs a boost.
Steam will only keep track of one Potato Sack game at one time, so there is no point in opening more than 1 game
Edit: Go ahead and idle your game

Edit: The comments made me pull up the papers I wrote (even though this was 5 years ago). My midterm paper was Bruce Lee paralleling Hong Kong as both are a fusion of Western influence without giving up Eastern ideology, and my final paper was a reconstruction of "Hero" and "Rashomon" using the broken narrative structures to piece together a message that transcended the movie.
Edit 2: I got a couple messages asking to read the Hero paper, so I'll link it here if there is interest. 5 years ago, 21 year old english major who thought he knew what was up. Be gentle
Excellent advice, can I just add that there's an app called Habitica where you can input your daily tasks and habits (or weekly/monthly/however many times you want to do whatever task) and it plays like a little RPG gamifying your tasks into monsters to defeat: https://habitica.com/static/features it's a really fun way of motivating yourself to do the things that feel like a huge chore.

My final paper was titled "Puns and Wordplay in the Television Series Arrested Development." The professor was a humor scholar and he had never heard of the show - he was a much older gentleman - so he was thankful that I introduced him to the show.
Hell, I was just thankful I could submit a paper - in grad school, mind you - about how Tobias Fünke is "buy curious" and will allow Michael to "zing your arrow into my buttocks anytime."
EDIT: Here is "Puns and Wordplay in the Television Series <em>Arrested Development</em>". It's 15 pages long. It's not as scintillating as I remember, and it suffers from me double-spacing after every period (eesh). But hey, I got an A on it.
I just did my thesis on plus size models. Read it here.
For me one of the biggest problems with slack (right after the fact it's proprietary and controlled by a company I don't trust) is that you need to pay, if you want full access to chat history. In theory you could use API to write a bot storing history somewhere, but it seems to be against terms of service (point 6.5).
Also, I still remember how slack suddenly changed their TOS and took my data as hostage. There was no option to decline new TOS and take my current chat history away. Fuck them.
Pure water is not a good conductor of electricity, but salts in the water can make good conductors.
The lightning follows the path of least resistance, and does not enter the water immediately. Instead, it creates arc channels in a disk-shape on the surface of the water before entering the water. The voltage then drops off rapidly as the voltage spreads out in a half-sphere. Fish (and people) have a higher resistance than the salt water and so will experience less voltage than the water directly around them. An interesting paper that touches on the topic.
A strike might not have dropped down to background levels (and still be detectable) as far as 1 km.
Oh goodness. Ill try to get on tomorrow and help out. I've been waiting years for this moment.

Use this file at your own risk. Compile with the instructions on the link if you are unsure.
I disabled Safety Load and traveled consecutively from Whiterun-->Solstheim-->Windhelm-->Whiterun-->Solstheim 10 times with no ILS. Superb!
Update: About 3 hours of playing with 0 CTD's of any kind! I even did the speedmult test and sped around the map TCL with no freezes, really nice. uGrids stable at 7.
Checking to see if it worked: Go to 'Documents/My Games/Skyrim/SKSE/skse_steam_loader.log' and check for the following line:

Hijacking top comment to post this: Runes are heinously imbalanced. Rune comparative stat bonuses are all over the place and have no real correlation or logic. This leads to certain runes just plain being better than any of the other options. Linked is a long spreadsheet explaining HOW runes are imbalanced exactly, and how to fix them.

Note: The spreadsheet is editable if you download it! You can change the "Adjustable Percent Values" Column and ALL of the runes will change accordingly!
Yo, I've been following the man since 2007, just wanted to clear a few things up:
Jay hasn't ever put out an official EP -- everything is a leak by DJs or old friends of his from his Detroit days. In other words, Style Wars EP was unofficial.
Furthermore, a great deal of existing Jay Electronica music was made between 2003-2006 in Detroit with J Dilla and Mr. Porter, though much of it didn't get released until after Jay made it big with Act I.
Here's a discography that's up-to-date as of last fall, I believe the only track it's missing is the one he did with Rapsody: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-YrAk8Z3LUiZzZ2WDFYVkV4cDg/edit?usp=sharing
Thanks for making this guide, it's long overdue.
Peace, and may every day be another day closer to Act II.

OK - first take a look at this: https://docs.google.com/drawings/d/1zp_HHPnwQIk0iopDHy5OBzCutwJI9tA7FJLuuFhVPfU/edit?hl=en_US
Anything at altitude is subject to gravity, which will draw it back towards the planet's centre of mass. First, let's look at object A. The green arrows indicate the gravitational vector. The only way to keep this satellite in a stable orbit, is for it to be moving sideways fast enough that the 'fall' due to gravity maintains it at the orbit altitude.
Object B is in a higher orbit, and you'll see that it has a smaller gravity vector. Similarly, to maintain its orbit it needs less orbital velocity.
Hence, low earth orbit objects need a high orbital velocity (the ISS orbits about 16 times a day, at 27,700 km/h), while high orbits have a lower orbital velocity (geostationary satellites travel only one orbit a day, at about 11,000 km/h).
Back to the original question - while you would be stepping off your building and dropping, you would be imparted with enough velocity to maintain a geostationary orbit. Bare in mind - this only works at geostationary altitude. If you stepped off higher up you would be placed in an orbit for which you were travelling too fast, and hence you would prograde away, while if you stepped off at lower altitude you would be travelling to slowly and would follow a retrograde orbit to eventually burn up in the atmosphere.

I like bitwarden - https://bitwarden.com/
Ignore the pricing spam, the basic version is free and completely functional. You can pay extra to be able to add 2fa and a few other things. Browser extensions, apple/android comaptibility, desktop client.
Here is a google doc that lists all the inconsistencies in Deception for those who have not/will not read it.
A cool design can work in your favor. Employers would look at hundreds of resumes with the same exact design. If you think a little bit out of the box, it might work for you. I was invited to at least one interview just to explain how I've made it in Word ("I just used a couple of text boxes to align the text the right way" "Oh... Hey <co worker>, he's the guy with that resume design, remember. He used text boxes"). On the other hand, I was criticized on one interview for NOT having the same old boring design (Joke's on them though, I got the job).
Edit: few people asked me to share my design. Here is a very similar design (but with horrible horrible content)
I feel like I need to clarify some things as this whole conversation is very confusingly worded for people who aren't already aware of how Riot works.
Riot is not a protocol. It is not a replacement for Slack, Skype, etc. Riot is just a client for the FOSS federated messaging protocol named Matrix. Riot is just the most popular and most full-featured. Riot is designed more like Discord than anything else, and likewise has a self-hosted web app you can deploy for users to connect through a web browser.
Matrix communication is done over a simple HTTP API. You can host your own server, or connect to existing servers. The protocol is federated so you do not need to be on the same server with someone to communicate with them. Server can have bridges installed, allowing connections with other protocols from Matrix chat channels. All the external service has to have to easily communicate is some sort of API. Here's some official documentation on creating bridges, with a example specifically for Slack.
So Riot can connect to slack, but it has absolutely nothing to do with Riot. You'd have to have a Matrix homeserver set up with a bridge to a Slack server through the Slack API. You can't just install Riot and connect to Slack, IRC, or XMPP servers.
Yay, more fragmentation in the IM ecosystem.
Listen, it's good that it's open source and self hosted, but the problem with all the messaging "products" doesn't come only from the fact that they're proprietary, it comes from focusing on making single client solutions. IRC and XMPP have a lot of issues, but they are protocols, so anybody can write the clients they want (graphical, command line, bots, ...) and use that with any service that uses those protocols. By creating new domain specific client-server protocols, you're just giving people less choice.
Right now, the only approach that seems to go in the right direction is Matrix.org. But to be honest, there are a lot of modern XMPP and IRC clients around now, so if you want to write a fancy UI, why don't you just write a good client for those?

This! Set up a password manager (Bitwarden is free and open-source), turn on 2FA everywhere you can (not SMS 2FA if you can avoid it), and stop using the same password everywhere.
I'm actually happy you put the OOPS there. You know why? Because a friend of mine came across your post and told me about it. And why should I care? Because I designed the damn thing :)
Some time ago I made an app for the Slack platform called "/oops" and this is the logo I designed for it, your post is how I realized it's the first result in Google when searching for the word "oops".

I made an updated version that is better for updating and has US tax brackets included:
I managed to play the game at Dreamhack last month. Frostbite 2 engine is simply amazing. Shell casing, spent rounds and ricochets were all amazing.
Gunplay is a lot "beefier" in which i mean there is actual kick to a weapon. Its rather hard to snipe someone across map with a SMG now. And it is nigh on difficult to kill someone with a LMG if you havn't got it deployed or you are Crouched/Prone.
It is amazing, and without doubt the best BF title i have ever played.
EDIT: Btw, if anyone wants to read the 3 Page in-depth review/experience of Bf3 at DH go here if you wish. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1WjDDihD6y0944lmKJD18cO7JVwASaBmbiv1mmlyo6hQ/edit?hl=en_US
Also agreed.
Over at /r/jellyfin we've used Matrix since day one, and only grudgingly (and with much flakiness) bridged it to IRC (and Discord... shudder).
I get that IRC is this historical thing for the "internet/computer geek" community, but people need to face that it's antiquated and a big barrier to entry for new users (it's not about being "hard"; it's about "now I have to figure out and join another Chat program just to get help?" and this being a barrier) and accept that better, modern alternatives like Matrix exist, are well used, and are an improvement.
Wave was way ahead of its time imho. Sure, it was unfocussed, never reached critical mass, and so on; but the underlying idea is great.
I can’t help but compare it to Slack, which does so much less but still manages to be so very useful. (And Slack doesn’t even touch collaboration.)
Just goes to show that there’s so much more to be explored in term of digital communication and collaboration. IM is just the very tip of the iceberg, Wave and Slack give us a taste of what’s to come …
I’m sure Wave will return (in spirit). When done right, this stuff will be amazing.
For those who don't know, Teamspeak is (was?) a very popular application among gamers and the like for voice communication.
The Matrix protocol is an open source federated / decentralized communication protocol for stuff like text, voice, video, commands and other things. Its strengths are properties like extensibility and high availability of chat history.
It's pretty exciting that it's now being developed with the Matrix protocol in mind, this means it can federate with the entire Matrix ecosystem. Pretty cool if you ask me.
I made this myself, here is the google doc with the data. 2011 is the projected value for 16 weeks.
One mistake I made is I didn't prorate the games from 1977 and before to account for the fact that they only had 14 games, so those numbers (rushing and passing) should be 14 percent higher.
As you can see, the rule changes in 1978 had by far the biggest effect on the league. In 1977 the league rushed for more yards than it passed, and teams were averaging only 141 passing yards per game, with defensive teams like Pittsburgh dominating. By 1980 it was passing for 50% more yards than rushing and averaging 195 passing yards per game, with teams like the 49ers taking over.
The two major changes were illegal contact, which we are all very familiar with, but perhaps more importantly, changing how offensive lineman were allowed to block, allowing them to use the palms of their hands and extend their arms.
Something the Riot blog misses here is the Matrix half of the story - specifically that the E2E Crypto has had a public security assessment by NCC Group. https://matrix.org/blog/2016/11/21/matrixs-olm-end-to-end-encryption-security-assessment-released-and-implemented-cross-platform-on-riot-at-last/ and https://www.nccgroup.trust/us/our-research/matrix-olm-cryptographic-review/ have the details.
Recipe:
Chain Vest (45 armor)= 700 gold
Cloak of Agility (18% crit chance) = 830 gold
Combine cost (1.5% hp converted to AD)= 825 gold
AD Bonus from:
2000 hp= 30
2500 hp= 37.5
3000 hp= 45
According to this spreadsheet (just pulled it off google really fast) 1 AD has a value of 38.
So (remember passive costs 825):
2000 hp= 30 (value of 1140 gold)
2500 hp= 37.5 (value of 1425 gold)
3000 hp= 45 (value of 1710 gold)

Sorry for taking as long as it did; I'm currently at work and writing between calls. This also hasn't been edited or revised in any way, so forgive me a few trespasses of grammar and spelling and the like.
Edit: The response from the community has absolutely blown me away. I was going to play Skyrim tonight while I am on-call for work, but after this I've decided to put the night toward putting another couple thousand words onto my principal fan fiction instead. Thank you all.
After Lastpass got acquired by LogMeIn last year I decided to start looking elsewhere. Being a software developer myself, I turned toward open source solutions but it immediately became apparent that nothing existed that was as convenient and as user friendly as Lastpass. I also realized that everyone seemed to charge money for these closed-source solutions (and rightfully so I suppose, a password manager is essential!).
bitwarden was born from this search and I have been developing on it every night since. This week marks the complete 1.0.0 release of bitwarden! There are apps for iOS and Android on the stores, browser extensions for Chrome, Firefox, and Opera, and a convenient website vault. It's free, open source, and cross platform.
Feel free to let me know any feedback that you may have or if you are interested in contributing in any way. You can check out the main product website at https://bitwarden.com/
They've had it for a while... but they seem to slowly be rebranding from discordapp to discord, for example their twitter
I know for a **fact** that they've had discord.com since they changed their twitter to @discord, but i'm pretty sure they've had it for longer
I predict this subreddit will be renamed soon

Looking at some of the formation models for the solar system are pretty instructive. I know AskScience hate speculative stuff, but what about papers that run speculative models? These suggest that small changes in the eccentricity of Jupiter would result in significant changes in the rate at which comets are fed into the inner solar system in the early history of the planet, and that a direct result of that is that changing Jupiter's eccentricity can turn Earth into a desert planet or a water world. How on the knife-edge were we, if this is true?
Good selections, but I'm a little disappointed that no candidates that were out of left field made it in
Edit: Hi-jacking my top comment to say I created a 64 person losers bracket. Check it out!

When I was in uni, I had a difficult time studying math. Even though I was good at it, the material was always more boring than the comp sci classes (i.e., major classes). What I found helped the most was sitting someplace nice (think a shaded bench in a park) and reading the textbook aloud for a set period of time (around 20 minute chunks for 1 1/2 hours -- check out the Pomodoro technique).
Even if you find it boring, you know you've put in a consistent amount of effort. A consistent amount of effort will usually get you at least a B-. A consistent amount of effort plus a little extra studying before an exam will get you to a B+. Consistent effort may also make the material more intriguing because you understand it better, and that newly sparked interest may get you an A.
It's important to remember that you don't need to get an A+ in every subject all the time. Chasing a perfect GPA will only lead to burnout, and a 4.0 is not much more meaningful than a 3.8. If anything, a perfect GPA means that you sacrificed personal growth for minimal gains and you don't know how to prioritize work. I say this as someone who sustained a 4.0 for the first half of uni and only earned 1 B per 5 classes a semester for the remainder (otherwise all As).
Enjoy the subjects you like by putting in extra time. Respect the subjects you don't like by putting in consistent amount of less time. Finally, be open to possibly expanding your interests.
Made a spreadsheet for this. Teams are sorted by PPG/min, with their traditional PP rank next to team names.
I wish I could! Right now, I just release all of my work for free.
Also, if you like this sort of thing, you might enjoy my full-length, Reddit-themed South Park script. In it, Randy discovers the location of a missing plane, Cartman introduces Butters to some interesting imagery, and Kenny suffers and unfortunate accident.

Edit: Ok, I found it myself here, sorry to disturb you.
In terms of creating a fleshed out main character, this may be a good place to start. I think using this to create a character in coherence with your world will be useful.
There might be some things I've missed/overlooked. If people enjoy this and think of some more things to include, I will make an updated version.
edit: Now that this post has gotten popular, I kind of wish I hadn't made this in MS Paint.
Another thing people have said is that this isn't a mind map but a mind cloud which is correct.
People have also stated that I organized things poorly, and to that I have one thing to say: yeah you're right.
My only real aim was to get people thinking about character motivation, not a step by step guide on to create a character. That being said, /u/RazomOmega and /u/ThatFanficGuy have both formatted and categorized my points much better here and here.
Glad I helped some people with their creativity, feel free to crosspost this to relevant subreddits.

This is what I used with my family; it was written roughly 5 or 6 years ago, so pretty much when I was a teenager, so there's a pretty distinct lack of business terms. I tried to cover all the bases I could with this one, since getting blackmailed to do things horrified me. The demands for money were just to scare them, keep them from lying to me, since the first time I did computer fixing for my family I was blamed for the problems that started to plague my parents' computer a while after I fixed it (that's also where that third question comes from, since my parents seem to have a god-given ability to find viruses not even on porn sites).
I don't do assistance for anything from Apple, though. I'm not proficient enough with OSX to do anything with it, or know how it works. Probably better off going to the Apple store for that.
Just to point this out: somethingawful.com is SOPA supporter.

Apparently 2/3 of them said they would like to go back in, and less than 1/3 said they would not. 90% of participants felt it useful, claiming that it helped them. Weird. Shit.
Matrix uses their own implementation of the "Double Ratchet cryptographic" ratchet. It's the same kind of encryption that Signal, Whatsapp and the like use. You can find the source here.
I believe this particular discussion and decision is quite old and settled. The use of phone numbers is a usability and reliability trade-off that users need to be willing to make with Signal. If that's not fitting of your threat model, may I suggest https://matrix.org/
"All-in-one voice and text chat for gamers that's free, secure, and works on both your desktop and phone." - Discord It also allows the uploads of videos and pictures.
There is a more work oriented platform called Slack, that also has the ability to text chat(pictures, videos, whatever) in a group based setting except that it does not have voice chat.
If you like the dynamic of "kill the laundry monster every morning", give Habitica a try. It gamifies to-do lists, is free to play, helps this SAHD keep track of the various work that needs to be done (both the one-offs and the recurring items), and makes it all a bit more fun. Particularly good for those "I don't want to clean the mirrors, but I'm so close to leveling up, I'll get it done" motivations.
The Android app is a bit wanting, but folks speak well of the iOS version. I just leave a tab open to it.

Am I missing something? No offense, but aren't these are all just standard options in Notion - full page calendar and filtered gallery views?
To the commenters, you don't need to wait for a template or ask for "new features"... Notion has already done it for you... type "/calendar" and you got it.
Notion's own help and support page (https://www.notion.so/Help-Support-e040febf70a94950b8620e6f00005004) tells you how to do all of this (including majority of everything else posted in this sub).
No. The username and discriminator are both required to identify a user; the only reason it exists, as far as I can tell, is to allow at most 9999 people to share a username (and even then, popular/short names have already started to become unavailable). If you try to change your username, and the combination of your current username and your discriminator is already in use, the number will have to change as well.
The ACTUAL user ID is a 64-bit number that you can get by turning on developer mode and selecting Copy ID (but it can't be used to send friend requests, so that doesn't help either.)
This is true for most of the brokers though. However, I really hope that doesn't dissuade people from going forward with signing up and moving. If Robinhood will do this to you now, they'll do it to you in the future. I really hope everyone signs up for Tasty, Fidelity or literally anything else. I would really lean towards Fidelity, considering they had no hiccups with what was going on and are self clearing.
/u/alexsmith2332 compiled a really great list here of some popular options with the highlights. At this point, I don't really care what broker people switch to, I just REALLY hope they switch.
Poll for this week. Thanks!
POLL: 317. Basic Lupine Urology
And for those that are asking for results of these, I will try and get them out this week. School has been kicking my ass recently. Sorry!
>Your karma/day rate is increasing.
EDIT: People are asking, so here is the full thing
Actually it isn't as gold efficient as people think. It's above average for gold efficiency, but nowhere near the top (at least if you only consider the benefit to the holder and not the benefits to the team). You can see how it compares to other items in terms of efficiency on this spreadsheet (just switch to the "Data" tab).
It is however one of only two items in the game that give you both armor and MR (the other being guardian angel), which means if you want to get a single item early to go against a fairly balanced team in terms of damage types it is a good bet.
I had the same problem when I upgraded 6 months ago. Here is my current personal collection of spacey 1440p+ wallpapers. (Took a while to upload)
Edit: Thanks for gold! I noticed imgur was compressing some of the larger images. Heres a .zip.
Before anyone goes screaming "Copying Discord"
Wanna leave that there. Existed before Discord, for quite some time. Discord itself is the copy.

> You proposed some bullshit alternative from what the rest of the planet uses.
Slack is used by organizations around the world, including NASA JPL, Time Magazine, BuzzFeed, and Harvard's administration. In fact, the moderator corps at /r/science uses Slack to manage their activities. There's nothing "alternative" about it; it's the de facto king in its domain, team communications.
You're free to do whatever you want. The topic of this thread is collating advice on tools that can be used by academics to help with their job. I've personally found Slack to be an exceptional tool, and I'm sharing my experience here.
Sorry for the PDF, but check out the last election estimates by age group:
Do we want marijuana legalization on the agenda? There's a reason the grey lobby is driving this country - they're the only ones who understand what it means to vote, and how shitty life is without a vote.
EDIT: okay seriously, why does this post get downvoted? Who does that?
That mountains with space idea sounds awesome, so i made this real quick. Hope you like it!

edit: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B5sqTekVEShUNGo3Wjgtcm9YRTQ/edit?usp=sharing <--- this one may or may not look better than the first one since this one uses 2 of the same resolution images and the first one is mismatched. the first link has a higher overall resolution though, so I'm keeping both of them.
edit 2: changed the links to google drive links so that imgur's compression wouldn't decrease the quality
I'm going to post this week's poll here so hopefully more people will see it! Thanks everyone!
I think that this is might be more common than most of us think. I am curious about this and have made a survey to get an idea of how common it is (at least among redditors).
If you are willing to take the survey click here
If you just want to see the results click here
This will only work if lots of you fill out the survey. So please do!
Edit: I've also included questions pertaining to cousins
Bubbles get you drunker faster. The carbonation forces your pyloric valve open faster so the alcohol enters your blood stream more quickly.... so if you're used to drinking beer and you start drinking liquor it may take longer to feel the effects, thus getting you more hammered in the long run. Same deal with Champagne vs. Wine

Its a way to bridge WhatsApp messages over a different messaging protocol called matrix. Matrix is a decentralized and federated approach to messaging and both the clients and servers are open source. If you run your own server you can install various bridges that let you forward messages from one platform over matrix so you can avoid installing many permission-wanting and tracking-laden apps on your phone. For example, I run my own server using this ansible playbook and it includes scripts to set up bridges for WhatsApp, messenger, groupme, discord, slack, and many other services. Its a great way to transition off of a service without getting rid of it completely, allowing you to keep in contact with people who use the nonfree platform without needing to interact with it directly.
Matrix is definitely the way to go in terms of private, encrypted messaging IMO but it requires a little more work to set up than something like signal.
Here's a short guide due to a busy holiday season.
I've been getting questions about how to find inspiration for ideas, and the key is anywhere. It's not always what you're looking at, but how. I deliberately picked a non-building for this guide to try and reinforce that.
The main thing to take away from this post is the process behind the design decisions. And don't worry if abstracting ideas is confusing, it took me a few years to fully grasp.
TL;DR recap:
Here's their blog post - https://matrix.org/blog/2019/04/11/security-incident/
I spun up a matrix VM about 1-2 weeks ago to give it a try because I was losing faith in discord. Not gonna lie I was a little concerned at the timing of this but I'm still going to go ahead and set it up when I get some free time. This wasn't a fault of the matrix software - just lazy sysadmin work.
I mean, I think it goes without saying that NFTs are absolutely fucking moronic, but I think this is a new low for milking money out of fans for something they don't even own.
In google spreadsheets one of my favorite functions is the Query function. It enables me to do SQL-like queries on datasets. Oh and also our new pivot tables make doing pivots and group-bys extremely easy.
What sorts of things are you looking for from Access and Filemaker?
I was thinking awhile back to start a google doc (spreadsheet) where we can list the folders and the information associated with them... this could serve as a cheat sheet for those of us who want to delete "bad" folders off of our sd card.
We could look to it and say: oh, a folder named TuneInRadio? The spreadsheet says its required to save preferences and radio stations. Hmm, since I deleted TuneInRadio awhile back I will not need it; Delete.
Edit: in true reddit fashion kiwimonster is already on it, check out the spreadsheet:

> Since all of your data is fully encrypted before it ever leaves your device, only you have access to it. Not even the team at Bitwarden can read your data, even if we wanted to. Your data is sealed with end-to-end AES-256 bit encryption, salted hashing, and PBKDF2 SHA-256.
I really like Bitwarden and it was easy to import passwords from Lastpass. I have tried to set up KeePass several times but it always ends with me frustrated about something isn't working the way I want and I delete it.
"abortion solves nothing", really pope, really?
And just where do you get that from, god? Did the big man in the sky tell you that? Because I don't think his information comes from experts who actually study the issue.
Because they have long concluded ".. that legalized abortion is a primary explanation for the large drops in murder, property crime, and violent crime that our nation has experienced over the last decade. Indeed, legalized abortion may account for as much as one-half of the overall crime reduction".
But facts aside, if you take a logical and moral approach it's not hard to realize that forcing people into difficult long term situations that they, and perhaps their families, aren't ready for, will never yield the most positive result. Morally speaking it's abhorrent to put the rights of a non-sentient blastocyst ahead of a woman. Especially as it's counter productive to a healthy society, life is hard enough without being forced into it.
It was great until the devs decided to make upgrades and weapons completely unobtainable by anyone but the money and/or time rich.
The average match gives you between 300-1000XP for free2play users, or 1000-3000 with boost (which costs about $15/mo). It takes 4 million XP to unlock everything. Alternatively, you can purchase the weapons directly, which costs 16,000 gold (~$150USD) for everything, plus you have to earn another 1 million XP for weapon and armour upgrades on top of that. (source for figures)
It feels completely pointless playing anymore, because it never feels like you're actually achieving anything.
EDIT: Downvoted for pointing out facts everyone wishes weren't true. Classy.
You can download the latest draft for free (got accepted without any modifications), at least that's what Slashdot said.
