I like Figma’s approach to PRDs because it’s lightweight but still extremely functional.
It emphasizes a clear explanation of the problem/success metrics upfront. It also focuses on the important parts of the solution rather than the whole solution, which aids scanability.
I’ve found combining this with a product tracker to be the most efficient way to manage multiple features in flight and share context/progress with GTM stakeholders.
It really varies per person!
If it’s your first benchmark, I might find a pace between your base and push, hold the pace and finish it. In the last .2 miles, if you feel like you have anything left, go all-out.
If you feel like doing some planning and push yourself to try to match your 1-mile time at the big box gym, you can use the benchmark planner (https://coda.io/@kennywong/otf/1-mile-run-7) to see what pace & strategy you will need to hit/beat that goal.
As others have already said, if it’s your first benchmark, aiming to complete it and establish your baseline is ❤️🔥!
Good luck and have fun on Monday!

I’m not much of a math guy so I can’t tell you if you’re right or wrong. But I did want to link to this tweet which contains an “immunity calculator” for a given population. The guy who made it, Youyang Gu, has created some pretty good models throughout the pandemic. Try plugging in your numbers to his calculator and see if it agrees with your take.
Edit: same guy, but even better calculator!

https://coda.io/d/The-7Sage-Law-School-Info-Doc_daa7untIi1o/App-Requirements_sumP8#Application-Requirements_tu3Am/r1 Here's a very helpful site that details every single required and optional application piece for all law schools. This should help you get an idea of everything you need for each school including resumes, essays, addendum, etc. I highly recommend thumbing through this site & make a list of all the materials you will need to collect for each school.
Once your transcript is processed, you'll be able to access your Academic Summary Report through your LSAC account which will show your LSAC GPA. I think it can take anywhere up to three weeks to fully process your transcript, but don't quote me on that. I can't help you with the masters transcript because I haven't gone through that so I don't know, sorry :(
Mostly everything regarding applications will be done through LSAC. Add schools to your "schools list" and then begin the application through LSAC and you will be taken directly to that school's application portal which will detail all instructions & application pieces that you need.
I hope this helps, feel free to PM me if I failed to adequately explain something! It's a confusing process so I'm happy to help in any way I can :) Good luck!!

I read this post on the Frequent Miler blog and was impressed with the system Nick built out with Google Calendar and email to remind himself about upcoming spend deadlines. I started getting into the credit card game in 2018 and didn't realize until now how much of a pain it is to keep track of all the spend deadlines for signup bonuses, statement credits, and other perks associated with CCs. Finally built out a template to keep track of all my cards and rewards in this Coda template. Would love people's feedback if this is how you think about tracking your rewards (e.g. emailing yourself reminders). Disclosure: I work at Coda.

There's a really neat Community Picks page where people can post their favorite episode of any MaxFun podcast. I recommended Oh No Ross & Carrie's Rythmia series, which is, admittedly, 13 parts, which sounds like a bit of a stretch for newbies but it's their best investigation, IMO. I listened to it week by week but it would make a great binge.

I don't think that is necessarily complete, but I'm using it as a guide until apps open and it matches the scant available public info on some schools' websites from my research thus far. :)
Edit: found this is in the sidebar haha
7 Sage compiled a bunch of app prompts and such here: https://coda.io/d/The-7Sage-Law-School-Info-Doc_daa7untIi1o/App-Requirements_sumP8#_luA_v
Most essays do not change year to year.
Michigan opens their app early, but doesn't open the submit button for like a month after, so it depends on the school. As long as you're applying early, you will be okay!
For fee waivers, make sure CAS is turned on- LSAC will flip all of them off sometime in August/September, so flip it back on around that time and you will start getting fee waivers then. Generally fee waivers start getting sent once apps open.
This link from the sidebar is what I've been using, assuming things stay the same this should at least give you a good start

Nevermind got the email. From what it looks like you can use https://coda.io/@schoolhouse/welcome/certification-91
to certify AP Stats or Calc. Basically, you record yourself speaking out loud with your reasoning and get 90% on the test, you can be certified
Check out the requirements school by school for application materials. You can do this on their websites or on this document from 7sage:
Check out the list of schools that conduct interviews and some sample interview questions from previous years here
Notably, out of the top schools, Harvard and UChicago require an interview before an applicant is admitted. These Skype/Zoom interviews are conducted by admissions officers. Getting an interview invite from these two schools means that you’ve “passed” the first round. Some other schools, such as Columbia, offer interviews to select candidates, but one is not required for admittance. Yale and Stanford do not conduct interviews. Depending on the school, some also offer Kira interviews, meaning that you need to record yourself answering pre-determined questions on an online platform, rather than talking to a real person. Cornell and Northwestern are two schools that offer Kira interviews. Georgetown has a unique in-person group interview option by invite only.
This has all law school application requirements. Im also applying this upcoming semester and what I did was make a google spreadsheet with each school I plan on applying to and everything I need to do.
I'm jealous that you have your diversity statement done, I have an outline but my prelaw advisor left so there's no one at my school for me to ask
Snippet from the Lite Paper (More > NFT Market Place)
NFT Marketplace is a proposed future goal under the EMBR ecosystem. It will enable customers to purchase, sell, or rent out unique digital assets and give them a sense of control over their virtual properties. Virtual Collectibles are a new and innovative concept that allows users to have unique control over their digital assets. It may be utilized with a variety of different virtual products, including collectible things, art, and smart contracts with particular functions.
The NFT market on the EMBR platform will be built to guarantee that all NFT collectors have a single location to look for new and innovative NFT tokens on all major chains. Furthermore, the EMBR Marketplace will help the integration of NFT in a wide variety of ecosystems to enable a frictionless purchase or sale process.
Did you start at a certain pace and have to pull back or did you hold it and just didn't get as far as you wanted? I got 1.48 and I did 7.4MPH and then went to 8.5 for the last minute. If you could do 7.5MPH with an AO of 8.5MPH for 1 min at the end - you should beat your previous time with 1.5miles. I used the calculator on this sub to plan my strategy. For me a consistent pace with an AO at the end feels the best to me. https://coda.io/@kennywong/otf

Not exactly what you were looking for, but you can build something like this pretty easily using Coda (the company I work for). Here's an example I threw together in a few minutes:
https://coda.io/@eric-koleda/fantasy-results
Coda is really good at working with tables of structured data and creating UIs that let you filter it. Enjoy!
OK! So it's here: https://coda.io/@kennywong/otf/dri-tri-run-33
I only have time to get the Steady strategy added, and I'll add the other strategies later tonight/over the weekend when I have some time (Turns out it's a bit more complex than I originally imagined. 🙏)
Thanks again for the amazing idea u/QuintessentialK!

https://coda.io/@jonathan-mccourt/job-search-lamp-method
follow this please, and you'll get an interview. you're going to need a internal recommendation, the best way to do it is to go on Linkedin, identify target companies, find any mutual connections there, or someone from your school etc. if you don't already know them send them a message asking about how the company is , what they like about it etc, then say you graduated with your degree and you're interested in working there, most of the time they'll ask if you want a recommendation, don't ask them flat out for one if you don't know them. then repeat this process for each company you're interested in working for. also you need to structure your resume probably, I recommend the STAR method then at the bottom put a skills section with like MPLS or whatever you know about in there. if you're doing a career change you should make a cover letter, on why you want to switch careers and give examples that correlate from old career to new one, like help desk customer service experience, problem solving. give real examples. 80% of hires occur off an internal recommendation, its a game of luck to get a job offer a lot of times if you don't have an internal advocate.
You only understand grammar through application so you were never gonna fully get it after a Tae Kim lesson so all you need to do is look at native content and when you see a grammatical structure that you don't remember to look it up again in the tae kim guide or wherever else you can find grammar lessons after doing this enough times you understand the grammar points
When I did cure dolly I got to lesson 35 and then started watching anime with jap subs line by line I had to keep revisiting the episodes when i saw a grammatical structure I recognized to eventually learn the info I also kept a list in a table on coda of all the grammar structures (including new ones not in the original lessons from cure dolly) I ran into and reviewed them every other day
According to the CMIYC pace calculator, if you start at 10.0, you would need to continue adding .1 until 11.8 to achieve 4 miles. Seems like a lot extra speed after 11.0 just to get to 4 miles!
Yeah, PW's distance goal is half of what jogger's &runner's
You can find the details if you...
Hope this helps!
I'm using a simple framework that has proven to be more efficient than many others: what should someone continue doing, stop doing, start doing. If you want a bit more context around it, this template (with some tailoring) is really good: https://coda.io/@jessica-powell/jessica-powells-guide-to-great-one-on-ones
I would also recommend having a little bit of time for unstructured chats as well, that helps with better understanding of how the person is feeling and what are they worried about. And of course, none of this will work, if you aren't building trust and rapport with your teammates.
Coda.io closed another funding round. I thought I would post to this discussion since we were just recently talking about Coda's funding. Take care. Here is the link -> https://coda.io/@coda/all-in-on-all-in-one-docs
In the meantime there's a template for this using coda.io that can be used on their free plan and can be published as a webpage.
The table setup would make it easy to sync/import the data into clickup
Yes, sounds like it should work. Here's a quick example I put together (I'll keep the link up for a few days). https://coda.io/d/Calendar-Sample_dydMxG3WN9R/Calendar-Sample_sucYW#_luCR9
Notably, there are two tables, one which would normally sync from a Google Calendar (I didn't actually set that up here in a globally shared doc for obvious reasons) and another which I populate myself. Figured it would be easier if I have separate tables for those sources of information.
There are two automation rules in the doc which copy parts of rows of those tables to a third joined table whenever any of the rows changes. The joined table uses formulas to select the "winner" for any given time slot. Then there's a view of that third table in Calendar mode so you can see the output in a friendly way. This assumes no overlapping time slots and that you want to organize by start time.
Maybe u haven’t looked at Coda lately because their database, automations & integrations are phenomenal. Yeah, Notion UI def better but Coda is rolling out major new UI features in next few months which if it’s as good or better than Notion will be a game changer. Check out these short but amazing Coda tutorials & each one will hook u more & more. https://coda.io/learn/coda-essentials-2
This info doc contains all of the requirements for most law schools (essay prompts, required number of rec letters, etc.). The prompts rarely change year to year, so these will most likely be the prompts for the upcoming cycle too. Plus, almost every school has a sufficiently similar personal statement prompt so that you can use the same one for each school. Good luck!
If you want a "Notion-Like" experience AND graphs are important to you... you might look at Coda.io.
They have lots of built-in graphs, and they work very good.
Hope this helps!
>nnovative things. Look around, did you saw Google or Amazon or any other tech companies tried to do something like this, n
Actually there are several apps that are very similar to Notion including:
I use all of these, and they are not suffering on the basics like Notion (outages/lack of an API...).
PLUS, they all have public road maps and their release schedules are counted by weeks, not months (like Notion).
>I won't start an argument about Coda VS. Notion
Not intending to. There is no perfect app. In fact I don't even use coda.io (I use ClickUp, Nimbus Notes and Notion)
Just pointing out the difference between how a company run by professionals vs amateurs.
Depending on your needs there are many alternatives to Notion:
Hope this helps!
Airtable is an online relational db. Google Tables looks like an attempt to catch it but Airtable has been around for years. A less obvious alternative but worth checking out is Coda which is related tables within documents. My company started with Airtable but moved to Coda for its greater flexibility in data presentation.
Yes, still available. Not sure why the link isn't working. Try in a different browser? You can also go to the homepage of this doc and find the virtual events page with the link.

This is a list of most if not all application requirements
Yeah all I keep seeing is ridiculous influx of cash and all of their competitors (coda.io, fibery.io, ClickUp) iterate and push out new features on a weekly basis.
This product is slow as molasses to get new features that the community is seeking.
It's pretty bad. For all that money, they work slow as shit - convince me otherwise.

It's better for high volume practice from a single distance. You can track your number of putts thrown and accuracy from each distance over time.
It's got charts and also text stats like below. The 8 out of 10 stat gives you a good target to aim for to keep improving.
You've thrown 89 putts at 20 feet and made 6 out of 10
You've thrown 123 putts total and made 8 out of 10
You've thrown 750 putts at 20 feet and made 5 out of 10
You've thrown 1,234 putts total and made 7 out of 10

I’m actually glad somebody asked! Working out regularly has been a really key part of appreciating my body more C:
I work out at least 20 min a day, and at minimum I count walking in that. So my day-to-day is something like |active focus day||long walking day||active focus day||long walking day| rinse and repeat. My active focuses tend to overlap, so for one routine I’ll do hamstrings, then the next I’ll do glutes, then the next I’ll do core, and the next upper back/chest. Kind of like the whole “the foot bone’s connected to the leg bone” song, but working your way through muscle groups!
I follow Cassey Ho’s Blogilates videos for the most part, I started with her 30 Day/100 Reps Glute Challenge , which was a killer but amazing. It wasn’t only just great for my butt, but really helped strengthen my hips, legs, lower back, and abs/obliques!
I really like the 30 day challenges, because it allows me to try a ton of different exercises (a new one every day!) and decide which ones feel best and that I enjoy doing. Once I had things that were legitimately fun for me, I started to put so much more effort into my fitness goals, and even started doing things I used to HATE (still not a fan of running, but I will do sprints!).
I supplement the Pilates with a healthy amount of weight and resistance band training, I personally love doing rows—and if you do them even a little, your back will absolutely thank you. Plus, you’ll look even better in backless dresses! A little bit of weights is extremely helpful for women in particular, since our joints are more susceptible to failing as we age, but we can support them with the surrounding muscles!
Looks great! How long is your fence? Seems ~24 inches? It's great when your error is over that entire length, because the error per inch would be tiny.
There's no such thing as too square for me, so I put together a quick calculator to make it simple for me to get down to half a thou :)

Data from the survey has been added to otfplanner.com!
How to look at data from 1/27's benchmark?
* Visit otfplanner.com and select 1-mile run page (If it hasn't already)
* Scroll down to Can you beat your peers section
* Locate the Date dropdown, and choose 1/27/2022.
Scroll down a bit more, and you'll see the total time broken down by averages, percentiles, etc.
As usual, you can adjust the filters to get a more accurate comparison based on your demographics - Age, height, etc.
Enjoy. Congrats to those who completed the benchmark! 💨💨💨
P.S. You can find the definition of peers by expanding the How do you define peers? section.
P.P.S. When's the next 1-mile run benchmark? There is an average of 112 days between each benchmark - Based on this, the next one's predicted to be around May 18th, 2022. You can find all the data on the Calendar page.
It has not been officially announced yet.
Historically, the # of days between each 1-mile run benchmark is 112 days. Based on this, you could think that it'll come back again on/around May 18th, 2022.
You can find all the data here: https://coda.io/@kennywong/otf/calendar-36
Copy GitHub repo link, open your terminal and go to your desired directory. Now type "git clone [repo link]" (Place the repo link without brackets).
If you are working around APIs, you might need the Developers Tools to be open all the time, which, to be honest, is a headache, at least for me. So, I use the HTTP Web Headers Chrome extension, which does not need me to reload the page. Even if I forgot to open the developer tools and it is straightforward to use, opening and displaying necessary information with just a click and not waiting for something you will not need, I hope this helps.
Amazing article Matthew, really well presented.
A FYI that I think is relevant to the thread, I have developed a Notion Pack for Coda. It is a really good way if you are using Notion to enter into the Coda world or if you use both to integrate them together.
You can subscribe to the Upcoming Page in Product Hunt and you can check the example doc.
If anyone want to have access before the public release please let me know :)
Hey all! I wanted to share this link with you incase you’re like me and need a “plan” to get through the benchmark day. This is not my link/calculator thing, but I’m not sure who the original creator is so I can give credit.

🤔 IIRC, OTF coaches mostly recommends sticking to a steady pace, or split the 1-mile benchmark into quarters (0.25mi), and bump up the speed as you so - Keeping it simple basically.
As always, they also encourage us to go all-out (aka "Gimme whatever you got") towards the last 0.1-0.2 miles. 😅
In case it's helpful, you can use this planner to plug in your pace and estimate what speed you'll need to beat your PR: https://coda.io/@kennywong/otf/1-mile-run-7
Disclaimer: I might have created the planner... #shamelessplug 😁
They give us 14 minutes. According to this awesome tool from a fellow redditor, if you hit 4.3 and stay there, you'll finish in 14.06 (just give the coach a heads up you may need a few more seconds before starting, I've never seen a coach cut someone off if they're close). You got this! 💪🧡

The app allowed me to keep track of packages on my route. instead of taking parcels back to my case and sorting them out, I can take them straight to my truck and load. It automatically sorted packages by delivery order. It also kept track of things like express parcels (they always will be at the top of the list before everything else), hold releases, and vacants (it'll prevent you from adding a package to an address that's currently on hold).
There's two ways to utilize the app. With the generated list of parcels, you can go back to your case and quickly mark everythng in one go. The other way is to not mark anything and check the app between stops (not while driving). I made a "simple mode" that'll fit onto a smartwatch screen. This is what I used, all I had to do was raise up my wrist and I instantly knew what's the next address I need to get off at to deliver.
The app also will collect statistics about which addreeses gets more packages than others. That way you can add those addreeses to your favorite list so you can load packages even faster.
For package runs, the app also provides a button to automatically launch Google Maps in navigation mode.
This app has very little code in it because I used Coda.io. It's takes basic documents like an excel spreadsheet and makes them more app-like. I think I spent one afternoon making the app.
You can achieve this by setting up a reverse proxy.
This guide breaks down how to accomplish it if you are using Cloudflare.

Go here, scroll down, and enter your info. That will show you how you compare to your peers! However the information it pulls from will be from the last 2k benchmark. Or you could wait until they update it from today’s survey results to see how you compare from this batch :) they usually update it within 24 hours
> supply and demand
Yes, that is what makes speculation profitable.
Awful lot of vacancies for this to be supply and demand.

Awful lot of forced evictions for this to simply be supply and demand.
I'd also like to recommend getting your coffee to water ratio worked out as well. ive been using this calculator and it has greatly helped

Thanks for the early intel!
I was just checking the planner from u/bilingualalchemist (which I do before every benchmark so I can completed nerd out about it while also panicking), and I am struck once again by hoe the difference between a good row and a great row is…like not that much at all. For my demographics, the differential between the top 1% and the bottom 10% is <30s. Crazy.
Anyway. Good luck tomorrow, everyone.
EMBR, a token not a coin. I'm personally hoping that it's not really a gamble but as a BEP20 asset I think the majority of the sub would class it as such.
They're just coming to the end of their presale phase with launch on November 25th and have dropped a litepaper today that is a really nice summary of the project (https://coda.io/@joinembr/embr-litepaper).
Definitely high on hopium right now, but I'm staking a decent sum (for me at least) that the team behind it will produce both style and substance.
if this helps, I used Coda to build a twitter tracker on the Algorand team members a while back. Some other decent info on there. Not nearly as complete as what you've listed though! https://coda.io/d/Crypto_dTNS9brFabd/Twitter-Official-Team_suA58#Algorand-Twitter-Team_tusDx/r66
You rock, thank you for sharing! I made a doc to help keep track and make some tough decisions. I linked in the Spotify playlists for bands I hadn’t heard about, and you can use that page even if you don’t want to copy the doc or create an account. OSL lineup
> Versus about $70M for Notion
According to Coda itself, Notion "raised $340M (Series C, Series B article) with customers such as MetaLab and Loom."

Yeah, we found out that Hopin doesn't offer public replays after the event; the viewer would have needed to register beforehand to watch the replays (even if they didn't attend live).
What there is for us to show is all contained in our Block Party doc here: https://coda.io/@coda/block-party-2021. There are links in there to our editor beta page, which has some more information. Plus, replays will be available very soon on YouTube!
Huh. No secrets here, but you can get an overview and sign up for what's coming soon: https://coda.io/@coda/block-party-2021/a-gift-to-you-early-access-27
Someone over in the Facebook group posted this link, seems like a great resource.
It's all done inside a Coda doc - With a mix of tables, filters & formulas. (e.g. Percentile, Average, etc.)
You can find the raw data in Data 💿.

How to look at data from 9/18-9/19 Dri-Tri?
That's it!
You can also adjust demographics filters to get a more accurate comparison based on your age, height, etc.
Enjoy!
P.S. You can find the definition of peers by expanding the How do you define peers*? section.
