wow this policy kind of sucks. although I guess it will be quicker to get into the festival. anyways, amazon has a decent looking cheap option for anyone in need of a clear backpack.
Heres a private room for 63$ a night in Daly city
UPDATE – There is NO live streaming of OSL for 2018. In the past, Outside Lands has hosted a free live stream of the festival when the festival has been sold out.
According to: https://sf.funcheap.com/lands-friday-listen-live-free/
You can listen to the performances on TuneIn Radio https://tunein.com/radio/Outside-Lands-Radio-s131229/
I made a doc where you can listen to each artist on Spotify, set a schedule and email it to yourself! There were so many on here I wanted to listen to before making decisions haha
There are are bunch of cheap 2L off brand ones on Amazon similar to this one
KUYOU Hydration Pack Water Rucksack Backpack Bladder Bag Cycling Bicycle Bike/Hiking Climbing Pouch + 2L Hydration Bladder,(Black+Water Pouch) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01C5O9T50/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_lk6zBb22FCF94
Not a hammock, but I've seen folks bringing in those air-couches that you fill up by running with one end open and then closing it up when it's full. Like one of these: https://www.amazon.com/Inflatable-Lounger-Sleeping-Camping-Garden/dp/B0758F8DTS/
There's really only room for it at the very back of Lands End, tho.
theres private rooms in a shared house on airbnb for around 130+. Heres one : https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/2160504?location=San%20Francisco%2C%20CA%2C%20United%20States&check_in=2018-08-10&check_out=2018-08-12&search_id=ceb8e151-4905-497a-a0a8-c2ca756ad41b&federated_search_id=277909d8-b830-475a-8290-ff89fe7f...

Whew glad I’m not the only one who didn’t get a confirmation. I’m following them on Instagram too.
I haven’t used this service before but it supposed to be able to check if a website has any visible changes and email you
You rock, thank you for sharing! I made a doc to help keep track and make some tough decisions. I linked in the Spotify playlists for bands I hadn’t heard about, and you can use that page even if you don’t want to copy the doc or create an account. OSL lineup
The sure do!

I asked this same question and got downvoted lol. I'm planning on bringing everything in a collapsible bag like this so I can fold it up and either keep it on me or put it into a locker. I don't understand why those types of bags wouldn't be allowed considering I can literally turn it inside out for security to see what's inside...

I have no use for a diaper bag but I got this one because I can attach my picnic blanket to the stroller straps.
I don't have experience with those covers but there's this stuff called "HikeGoo" that's pretty good at preventing blisters even if your socks get wet. 👍 It's a little pricy but it works for me!

You're not going to go deaf from one festival, especially if you avoid being right by the speakers. If you're going to start going to shows regularly, it's a must have (your ears will thank you in the future).
This is my budget recommendation: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00G0PPTAK/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_ABMXJJ28Z59MK76TFE8D
This is what I use now: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01L4LKQIE/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_MDJYN1DCDR406TD621Z3
Both are good and don't completely muffle the sound like foam ones do.
Depends on where you are at the venues. If you are close to the front or near speakers, absolutely. If you are far enough away from those areas, you’ll be fine but it’s always smart to take precautions. I’m planning on being in the soma tent where I’m sure the music will be loud so I plan on wearing ear protection.
Last weekend I saw dom dolla in LA and my bf and I stood right next to the speakers (I didn’t know this otherwise I would’ve moved) and we blew out our ears for a couple days. My right ear was in pain with any high pitched or loud noise for a few days. Literally flushing the toilet hurt, couldn’t listen to music, and I heard constant ringing in my ear. It went away after a few days but I learned my lesson and will always wear protection because I saw a glimpse of what permanent damage can be like. No bueno.
I suggest doing a little research for what fits your ear the best. For the festival I bought these and I like the way they fit so far. Haven’t tested them in a concert setting though
Hope this helps!
You probably won't need them. Typically, I've only felt like I needed earplugs when I've been weekend after weekend at clubs, concerts, and loud places.
Unless you're right at the front, you won't need em.
There's are some for sleeping and some for music events so they don't muffle the sound too much. Make sure you get the right ones.
I paid $15-20 for mine and they work great. https://www.amazon.com/Etymotic-High-Fidelity-Earplugs-Standard-Packaging/dp/B00RM6Q9XW
worst case, caltrain will run trains at 9.58 and 10.58, and they stop at the exact same place.
think it's supposed to be through this multi-view experience app but not sure because i don't have an android https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.verizon.vzmve&hl=en_US&gl=US
Yeah clear policy sucks ass but I got a colored trim one on amazon so its not so ugly LOL

If you invest in one of those waist bands that you can find on Amazon, you’ll guaranteed feel better, at least about your valuables. I tried this one this year and it was nice not worry about my pockets. We had a fanny pack strap get cut while at Coachella and thankfully they didn’t get it, but that woke me up to how brazen these bastards can be. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ZS3DC4U
Buy these, the fact that they are soft-sided means they're more comfortable when jammed down your pants. Wear boxer-briefs so they don't fall out the bottom, wrap them in a large ziplock bag so they're not rubbing on your taint/balls, and then hide them in the front or back. The 32 oz may seem too big, but with a little adjustment they fit no problem. Just wrap a hoodie or flannel around your waist to conceal if you put down the back.
