You guys might also like https://visualping.io, which lets you scan for differences in pages, etc. I use it to see when waiting for thing to be back in stock, book releases, etc but you might find a use for GME research as well!
Nobody knows yet.
Several of us have a visualping.io alert set up for https://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/bymodel/2022_Ford_Maverick.shtml - as soon as it changes, we'll have an announcement.
For me it wasn't that I couldn't find a place, it was that when I did I was #25 in line. So yeah, hope this helps! This sounds crazy, but I'm sure you're at the point to try anything so here's what I did to get #1 in line for our current place.
Go to https://visualping.io/ and set up website crawlers on every property management site you can find - do this for their "vacancies" pages. It will notify you if the website has been updated and you can set it to check however often you want. I set this up on like 15 PM company sites and had it check every hour during business hours and within two weeks I got a place. It'll cost some money, but spending the $25 was worth getting a place to live
Just check the website..
If you REALLY want to know the moment the update drops then there are many ways to track if a webpage/site has changes (which hopefully means there is an update) e.g. Visualping
I have a suggestion to those like you:

Go to this page, and save it for mtgox.com website. So every time there is a physical change on the website(Trustee adding documents), you will get the email and never going to miss anything =)
Pro tip: use a service like Visual Ping to monitor product pages for when they’re restocked.
In this case, I setup an alert for when the page removed the text “OUT OF STOCK” and was notified with enough time to place an order.
I’ve been monitoring their stock for a while. It’s been re-stocked a few times now so I’m guessing they’ve got some more in production.
https://visualping.io if you want to get notified when their stock/website changes
I used visual ping to get the notification that drunkenslug was open for registration. You tell it to look a website once a day and if there are any changes like to the registration page like it may say closed today but tomorrow if it's open and the form is there it will notify you that something is changed
Thats what i did because i dont check this subreddit often to know when things are open so it was useful for that one time i used it
I'm always amazed when people don't know about this, considering their disclosure policy is posted on every article. It's a great way to see who has 'skin in the game'. If anyone wants to set up a project where we gather all of these stocks and weight them by their CAPs ranking, I wouldn't mind contributing. It's definitely a big task though
PRO TIP: You can use visualping.io to get a notification when their holdings change by setting up an alert when the stock section of their profile page changes. I started doing this with TMFJoey but it seemed like he traded a bit too frequently for my taste.
A1up said orders will be available when the cabinets hit land from overseas and that should be around late Jan., early Feb.
I use https://visualping.io/ to have it email me when the website changes and orders go live. If you use the free checks they give you, just set the pings to something like checking 2-3 times a day or you will run out quick of the free checks if you do every hour.
Rogue fitness has random restocks - your best bet is checking here periodically: https://www.roguefitness.com/black-concept-2-model-d-rower-pm5 if no one has a link to share.
I picked up one from there today instead of sitting on the waiting list - it was in stock for 4 hours today.
You can use this site to set up an in stock notification: https://visualping.io
The website is up, but as it says in the CR announcement the login functionality is disabled until further notice.
If you want to keep checking it daily for changes you are best off using a bot to do it for you eg https://visualping.io
No idea about when its coming back but thank you for the link-- this looks like a nice resume add.
I'd recommend you try out visualping-- they'll email you if the page changes.
That's a good start then! I'll try my best to keep my eyes peeled on that TV for you. I would recommend a page monitor so that it dings you when the page updates. A good one is VisualPing (I recommend getting their Chrome extension). You can select the area you want to monitor so you can just monitor the area of the price, etc...
Good luck!
changedetection.com and visualping.io come to mind, but a quick search for 'website change detection' shows a bunch of them.
More can be found here.
Checklyhq.com is capable of what you need but it gets expensive if you need to run checks often.
I’m not sure what the issue is with just running the checks yourself. Configuring it on an API is almost as much work as doing just spinning something up yourself.
This is very easy to build using AWS lambda and a library like cheerio for js or scrapy for python. If you need JS enabled then you can use puppeteer or playwright.
Here’s an article on how to set it up:
https://scrapingant.com/blog/how-to-run-playwright-on-aws-lambda
Edit: There appears to be a lot of services that do exactly what you need. Such as:
Asking for api and having custom service check and alert would be a professional solution, but if it is not possible, you could try how well would service like https://visualping.io/ work for you. I did not use it, just first Google result for site changes monitoring. I remember I used something like this a few years back when I needed to know quickly when a certain blog post was updated.
> Browser checks (Free forever)
>
> Your computer monitors the page.
So it might get you rate-limited and probably have to solve a Captcha.
> Server checks (2 daily checks free)
Which is pretty pointless if you want an alert in less than 6 hours (on average).
~~Appts are available in Des Moines right now~~. If you miss this round, try setting up a scraper with visualping.io, its not super straightforward but I had it checking every 15 minutes since 8AM and just got a notification spots were open. Bonus its the J&J one-shot.
This Detect availability thing seems like such nonsense coming from a company the size of Google.
It's like their inventory system is telling them they have 3 pallets of these things in a warehouse in Asia somewhere, and once they find them, they will sell them and then finally admit that they are discontinued forever.
As for monitoring that stupid page so that you might get lucky and get one of the last ever Detects, I recommend something like https://visualping.io/.
I just finished my second workout on the rower! It’s awesome! I set up a visual ping through here for free: https://visualping.io/ I set it for hourly and within 3 days I had a hit for it to notify it had restocked and I ordered it. This lets you know before the website gets a chance to tell you it’s been restocked. In fact, I didn’t even get an email notification to say it was back in stock. It sold out within a couple hours.
No problem!
I was there the morning of the 3950X launch and was able to snag one, but it was still a bit crazy. I ended up refreshing a few sites and got lucky - there are even some sites you can use which effectively monitor pages for changes to help notify you if something goes "live." Visual Ping is a good one.
One last note to clarify although it was probably obvious... when I say to check on November 5th in that time window, I technically mean 11PM on November 4th to 1AM November 5th, just as the day ticks over. :P
Good luck, it should be a beast of a CPU!
You might get some milage out of this. Has a free tier to try, but you will have to pay for your volume and frequency. not my tool either so I can't do support for ya, but good luck!
Hey u/colaforth, I'm not sure whether you can do this with IFTTT, however, there is a tool called https://visualping.io/ which you can use to get the e-mail alert if there is any change.
If you need a notification, there is an applet available. Hope this is helpful.
The website is up, but as it says in the CR announcement the login functionality is disabled until further notice.
If you want to keep checking it daily for changes you are best off using a bot to do it for you eg https://visualping.io
If you search Google for monitor website changes you'll find lots of sites that can do this for you. This one is the first result, for example. I've never used it, nor any of the others, so I can't vouch for it but it's an option you can try.
> Why not? Its quite simple to do, Just check your competitors website and adjust your price accordingly if possible.
There is a tool for that. It will tell you when a website is updated and notify you of the changes.
I have used Visualping before, it lets you know if there are any changes to a webpage, like a survey being added. Haven't used it in a while, but it was very useful back when I was doing surveys. I downloaded it as a Chrome extension https://visualping.io/
Fair enough, I dunno what the landscape looks like for you guys in our northern mexico but I'm a big fan of refurbs if you can find a good deal. Extended warranties taken over a lifetime are a waste of money but if it means peace of mind to buy refurbished and save a few hundred bucks you could always get a squaretrade or similar extended warranty for ~$150 for 2 years. It depends on how valuable your time is, if saving a few hundred bucks is worth waiting a few weeks for a deal I'd say you download https://visualping.io/ or distill web monitor and set up alerts for the X34 on acers recert website or set up IFTTT.com alerts to send you an email when X34 is posted here, this is the trigger I used: title:'PG279Q' title:'XB271HU' title:'X34' subreddit:hardwareswap
I saw some people were using VisualPing.io, but when I set it up got a million false positives, I think someone else was using something to check the source for a key word like "in-stock" but not sure if they wrote that themselves or not. Let me know if you find a solution!
vari servizi permettono di avere un alert quando la pagina cambia..
ad esempio visualping.io , gratuito fino a 2 pagine monitorate e facile da usare
casomai googla webpage change monitor
I'm not sure, I saw it on Temporarily Offline's youtube channel.
They did also put a notification on their website. You could use a service like https://visualping.io/ to find when the site changes as well.
There are tons of extensions that do this! Just search on the Chrome store for page difference notifications or website change detectors.
I use the visualping.io web service which is great and they also have an extension. It would likely cost you money to have it check the site constantly throughout the day though. Or apparently their extension allows you to leave a tab open and it constantly checks for free since it's just running in your own browser.
I setup an alert on https://visualping.io for the GG 1/8". it sent me an email when the GG page changed (showing it was available) and I ordered immediately. within a couple hours, it was sold out again. you may want to try that as they're showing up regularly as they get them in stock.
Keep an eye here and usually restocks get posted
Use a service like VisualPing or even better use their browser plugin. You can set it to watch a specific element on the webpage and ping you if anything changes, like the "Unavailable Nearby"/"Check Stores" button changing to "Order now". I recommend the browser plugin because you can set it to check every second where as the web page email alert only goes down to every 5 minutes.
Came across this thread following link from discord. That's awesome tips. Did not realize both the profile>stock tip in main thread, and the idea of visualping.io. Could see it now.
https://boards.fool.com/profile/TMFJoeyRockets/info.aspx
When you said "he traded too frequently", do you mean the list of stocks change frequently for him or the alert is too frequent to make it hard to keep track of his change?
Right now all the stocks in TMFJoey's profile seems to be a small list of well known stocks.
ABNB, AVLR, CELH, CHWY, COMP, CPNG, CRCT, CRWD, CURI, DDOG, DOCU, ESTC, ETSY, FSLY, FTCH, HEPS, HUBS, JMIA, KHOTF, LSPD, MELI, MDB, NET, NVCR, OPEN, OZON, PGNY, PINS, PLTR, PYPL, ROKU, SE, SHOP, SQ, STNE, TDOC, TWLO, U, XMTR, Bitcoin, Ethereum, The Motley Fool Holdings (Private)
will we get an alert if their positions on particular stock changes? also is the info entered by the author themselves or auto-generated by systems.
You can use visualping.io to monitor any of the blockchain trackers that are monitoring that address. (This is one: https://www.blockchain.com/btc/address/1P5ZEDWTKTFGxQjZphgWPQUpe554WKDfHQ)
I'd like a self hosted, lightweight version of visualping that outputs the diffs in multiple formats (RSS feed, email, dump to file).
I've seen a couple of projects that are almost there (urlwatch, rssbridge) but none work the way I want them to.
Hello! We would like to caution that the number of open seats a course starts out with may change from year to year, esp this year if there are fewer seats to start out with the course may fill faster than what is visualized.
I (an anon berkeleytime team member hehe) personally use https://visualping.io on the classes.berkeley.edu page and its count of open seats when I really want to get on the waitlist of a course. It will email you any time there is a visual difference in the numbers; you can just use it as a little daily update for yourself to see if you should drop a class you're enrolled in and Phase 1 math 110 instead.
Our team is working on an email system to notify you about enrollment / when a course you're watching is filling up, so create a user account and stay tuned for that!
I'm using VisualPing.io to send me email alerts when the text changes for the age eligibility. Yesterday it was updated at around 7am, and this morning it was sometime between 6am and 7am (based on timing of OPs post).
Update: Costco.ca was continually sold out. I setup an alert using VisualPing.io to let me know when the set that I wanted came back into stock. Ordered it a few days ago. Looks like stock is slowly being posted on their site, but disappears in short order.
Whew glad I’m not the only one who didn’t get a confirmation. I’m following them on Instagram too.
I haven’t used this service before but it supposed to be able to check if a website has any visible changes and email you
Pre-orders weren't ever monthly, at best it's been every over month but it's been a lot more patchy since the start of the 2020.
Last pre-order availability dates from the best of my memory:
May 2019
July 2019
Sep 2019
Nov 2019
Jan/Feb 2020
June 2020
July 2020 (Not sure)
Late December 2020 (Shipping in February)
Early January 2021 (Shipping in March)
Late February 2021 (Shipping in April)
Since pretty much everyone who wanted a Niche has one, they have less incentive to make as many.
If they are returning to the old schedule then there might be more pre-orders available in a week or two. I'd recommend signing up to the newsletter and using something like visualping.io to give you alerts when the IGG page changes.
From the sidebar and also the sticky:
The single most commonly posted question/discussion: I'm thinking of buying an indoor rowing machine. What should I buy? This or a variant of it is the THE most common, repeated topic of this sub-Reddit. Before you post, read this: Erg Shaped Objects (ESOs) Your post will be locked if it's clearly addressed in the above discussion. TL;DR: Concept2 is the gold standard and despite supply chain issues with the pandemic, you can get one in under a week if you put in some effort. Rogue Fitness USA & Canada gets new stock once or twice a week, usually 150-250 rowers at a time. They sell out in about 45 minutes.
If you want a Concept2 Model D, follow /u/lyothan's advice (here) to use a page monitoring site: https://visualping.io/
Sorry to get back to you so late, forgot to answer. So I checked and it wasn't IFTTT that I used but https://visualping.io/ and just had them check the part about my Kindle model for changes. Very handy.
Sorry! I think internship recruiting just hasn't started yet for this year. What I did when I was on the internship hunt was use visualping which alerts whenever a webpage changes to track internship opportunities of places I'd want to apply to.
Sooo I ended up creating an alert for when the sale page changes on VisualPing. Set it to check I think every 12 hours so you don't hit the free limit.
I wasn't sure if it would work, but I got an email notification the day the sale page changed, and was able to order same day.
Or the other option is to email him to get added to the group he emails when stuff comes back in stock.
I found links in your comment that were not hyperlinked:
I did the honors for you.
^delete ^| ^information ^| ^<3
Did you click on the link? Do you mind to share the problem you actually want to solve?
Whenever you visit a page on the internet you transmit your IP. So if now the same IP asks for the same page every single second their server classifies this as some sort of attack or misuse of the service. And it actually is. A big side will not collapse because of this, but you are running in fact a light DDOS attack, in some cases even a successful one.
/u/Mattsoupboi11
You can have this website watch any page on the open web for changes (e.g. the “out of stock” banner disappearing). I think it’s 2x/day free (for one page, or 1x/day for two pages... total of 60 pings a month)
You know what? That's a fair statement.
I'll qualify mine slightly:
There's no supply chain issue for people who are motivated to buy a machine.
/u/lyothan posted advice on the https://visualping.io/ page monitoring tool that'll ping someone to second there's stock. (that's how I got alerted today and why I posted)
My original statement was more a frustrated response to the MANY posts of late that came off as whining about not being able to buy a machine. Clearly, those people weren't trying hard enough since we get at least 2-hours a week when there's available stock.
For ios or literally any platform https://visualping.io works, but if you're using a free account you might get unlucky with the time it checks and miss it.
I didn't get a notification until like 5 minutes ago. If it was a smaller registration window, I'd be SOL.
Shout out to /r/usenetinvites I've had DS for a few months now thanks to them.
Hello there, I am part of the Visualping team and wanted to apologize for the bad experience. The invitations to migrate you received where automated on the most part as we had to deal with more than 250,000 users included yourself. We have made vast improvements since last time you tested it. You can find more information here: https://visualping.io/changedetection
there are several web site change checker tools on google you can use to scan a website every x amount of minutes or hours for changes. then it emails u when it detects a change in the url or homepage.
https://visualping.io is one of them altho u gotta pay for certain features
Not sure about Quebec specifically but it disappeared for me in Ontario shortly after I ordered.
Try using https://visualping.io to track changes on the product page. You get 62 checks a month or so. I set it to every hour.
I guess they found some errors with it and pulled it.
https://visualping.io/ is handy for getting notified of updates. Just give it the creality download page and it will send you an email when they change anything.
Because they want you to access their websites manually every day to be tracked and advertised stuff you don't want.
You can create new RSS feeds for any site with Pipes: https://pipes.digital/
If you find that complicated, you can try these visual monitors instead and get email notifications:
I actually got one from the most recent batch. I signed up for a free account on https://visualping.io/ and set it up to get an email alert when the DepoRacing page changed to show it was in stock. Installed over the weekend and can confirm the intercooler is one of the best purchases I have made for my ST.
I’m sorry your going through so much stress, the delivery slots are a nightmare even without everything else you’ve got going on.
I’ve not personally tried it but i know others have, apparently this website is really good. It notifies you when supermarkets release new delivery slots and can’t hurt to at least try it... https://visualping.io
Hopefully it helps!
In the future, you could use a free service like VisualPing.io to get an email when they update the status page. Unfortunately since it's once status page for all datacenters, you can't filter this alert by your specific datacenter so you'll get a lot of stuff that's not relevant to you, but it's up to you whether that's better or worse than nothing at all.
I've used visualping to track changes on client webpages before. It lets you know when a particular webpage updates. I use the free version for a small number of clients but it's definitely helped me to discover a couple of deals.
It appears the "in stock email" is quite delayed. A [previous suggestion of mine](/r/teslamotors/comments/fgmylr/chademo_adapter_back_in_stock/fk73y7c/) to use a website monitor helped at least 1 person.
I understand if everyone does per minute monitoring the adapter will likely still be out of stock for some but I am hoping to takes away sales from scalpers as much as possible (without buying all the adapters myself and reselling for cost).
Following scholars on Researchgate, following my favorite journals on facebook, joining facebook groups focused on my academic interests, following pages on Facebook that might post relevant articles (this was the intended use of facebook, right??). You could set up something on visualping.io which can check for updates on journal websites or sign up for updates with them directly if available.
Yeah...
Because I very much wanted to buy more of their inks I used a web site monitoring service that automatically alerted me to a change on their homepage.
Desperate times call for desperate measures ;)
Best bet is to watch the union website(s) that you're interested in. Watch for apprentice intake periods which are usually announced online. For example, IBEW has this "join us" page which has a link to the Joint apprenticeship committee page with intake dates.
For the lazy, you can set up a web page notification on visualping that will automatically let you know when the page is updated.
When apprentice intake is open, follow application steps.
It's way easier than people make it sound.
that's the one i check regularly as well. i added it to https://visualping.io/ and the service emails me (free) whenever the graph changes.
here's the same content but you can choose which historical years you want to compare with: http://cdec.water.ca.gov/snowapp/swcchart.action
or setup a free alert at https://visualping.io/ for the drunkenslug rego page, the site will check it once a day and send an email when it changes but FYI registrations are only open for about 24 hrs

Per this, yes.
We shall see, mine just shipped today
You could also setup a notification from https://visualping.io/ to notify you when the website changes- along with the heatonist notification option they provide (i sometimes find these are delayed and its better to get a 3rd party notification).
To increase your chances, have an account created and payment info saved on file (if available)
Absolutely it's possible. There are sites like https://visualping.io/ that monitor web pages and notify you on change, maybe that will help? There's also Chrome extensions. Prior have made solutions like this to check ticketing websites for when a big event goes on sale, so you could start by googling that. I doubt you'll even have to do any programming.
you mean with those aforementioned apps?

yeah, so whenever I set chrome page monitor to interval of 5 sec and i monitor a pleatora of pages, it seems sometimes they don't notify me/ping at all, and i also find that there seems to be a limit to how many i can monitor until I am unable to.

as for Visualping i don't find it to be user friendly. it pings all the changes and keeps on pinging everytime, whereas i would only like it to ping when certain keywords are changed.
Check the company for a newsletter option on their website. They may duplicate updates through that channel. Another option is to setup up a service like https://visualping.io to monitor the update page for you. I've used that in the past for the same issue. The downside the comment count for the update can trigger the ping and set a notification.
The last MBP I bought was refurbished. I was worried about it, but I have had it for 3 years now and have not had any problems. Instead of getting the cheapest option, I bought the model that was the same price as a new one, but with maxed out specs.

My brother in law buys a MBP used on craigslist (I know) every few years and then sells his older model to buy a newer model. He has been very happy with that over the years and does a ton of freelance music production work. That wasn't the route for me, but he makes it work.

If you are going to buy refurb, set yourself up a website monitor so you can snag the best possible deal. I found that stock moved fairly quickly on the apple refurbished site. I used this service https://visualping.io/ (the free version) to make sure I knew when the site updated. It helped a lot.

Best of luck.
I'd lean toward using a cloud software as a service provider over rolling my own unless there's some concrete (e.g. educational experience) benefit to doing the latter, these services are quite cheap compared to my own time. (i.e. What I'd expect to bill a client for writing this response here would be more than they'd pay for one for over a year unless they have very specific requirements.)
Certainly it's possible for CMS sites to fail in ways that the application is available or even the HTTP status result is still 200. For instance, if someone accidentally replaces or deletes a bunch of the content. For this reason, it might be desired to write a health check that validates the content. Either by pattern matching against a text phrase in the HTTP result, or more sophisticated options such as visual monitoring of changes to content. Most SaaS site monitoring products can do the former, some tools such as https://visualping.io/ provide examples of the latter.
It seems to be a common issue from all suppliers. However some are operating a wait list for interested customers.
If you are worried about missing supplies when they are relisted as available, use https://visualping.io/ to have the page monitored and you get alerted when anything changes.
Oh nice, i'll sign up for this and use NZGeek, i've just been using the latter for TV since i don't need much fancy things but having two good ones i can feel good about paying for.
Side-praise: If you're reading this and the registration closed try out this site called VisualPing and it basically will monitor a site and email you anything changes, like the registration page changes which is what i did to find out about DS being open, since last time i missed it b/c i dont check this subreddit often.
I use visual ping (https://visualping.io/). Set it up on the NI product pages of the things you want to buy. When the price changes, visual ping will email you.
Also you might want to check out r/audioproductiondeals. You can look back through the posts to determine when things might go on sale.
Good luck!
I think you could accomplish all this for around $200 a month using a VA and paying for the Ahrefs and LinkedinGold
You can pay a VA $5 an hour to do 10 hours of work a month for you and get you a ton of competitive intel.
There are actually web pages that specialize in tracking web pages for changes. Visualping.io will even check every hour for you for free and send off an e-mail whenever it detects a change :-)
I THINK can set an alert through websites like visualping, but I think that due to the fact that parents often cancel when we are asleep, it might be hard to catch it. I haven't tried.
A tuned-up version of RSS + Telegram.
I'm looking for a job, and I want to collect all the new job postings in one place.
I created a private Telegram channel for me where I'm storing all the posting.
It works like that:
I think a website like this can solve the issue for this. This is not the only one, there are more. I am certain if you search you can also find application that you can run locally on your machine so you don't have to put your trust in a website. That is unless you really want to learn how to program this.
How about trying some of the page monitoring sites? I always found Feed43 difficult to use. These look pretty easy:

There are apps for the phone that shoots you an annotation if a website change, if you cant find an app there are website that emails you if it happens I just googled this one up: https://visualping.io but there are plenty
I want to trail on your high comment to mention my biggest issue with staying up to date on this kind of stuff; I never know when a vote is happening because no one tells me.
However, my city does have a webpage that updates whenever a vote is upcoming with vote locations/times. So I found a nifty tool that monitors this page for me, and sends me an email whenever it changes. So far I have caught two votes that I otherwise would have had no idea were happening!
Here is a the tool I use, but there are many others: https://visualping.io
>> Distill > >What about a web-based alternative?
This only supports check every hour though. If you want something every 10 minutes for example it's extremely slow. I think distill supports smaller time intervals
Don't worry, they have a website that emails notifications instead of conveniently showing them in the Chrome bar. Not as efficient but hey, it works for all browsers, so here you go.
