Yes, they have Love Letter. You can use this IFTTT applet so you're sent a notification whenever there's a new reddit post matching your search. The search operators you'd use in this case is Avistaz subreddit:OpenSignups
I used visual ping to get the notification that drunkenslug was open for registration. You tell it to look a website once a day and if there are any changes like to the registration page like it may say closed today but tomorrow if it's open and the form is there it will notify you that something is changed
Thats what i did because i dont check this subreddit often to know when things are open so it was useful for that one time i used it
I'm not sure about Audio News specifically, but I'm using IFTTT for similar purposes to get notified of posts here.
There ought be similar services or tools to get notified of changes in a specific web page.
Here is the most current email whitelist. It is subject to change at any time. You can only register to the site using an email domain on the whitelist.
> They don't want users circumventing bans or whatever.
The real punishment of a ban would apply to the profile, losing your stats and most importantly your spot on the private tracker.
In case of a ban or in this specific registration case you would still be able to fake an IP with a semi decent subscription to NordVPN, etc.. Further more, from what 'ClickMadMin' is writing it sounds like you can enable "privacy" in settings after registration, and that in itself sound pretty stupid.
> The trackers I'm on (TL BLU BHD RTFLX) all prohibit the use of VPNs for sign up and every tracker I've seen posted on this sub also don't allow VPN sign ups.
TL as in TorrentLeach? Just looked through the rules.. they say nothing about not allowing the use of a VPN.. I myself have never not used a VPN on their site, so that includes VPN for signup.. Also, I use VPN for registration and all other uses on a long list of trackers. A lot of those trackers I have joined doing open invite periods announced on this very reddit page. ... So what you claim is untrue, and that is a fact mr. slidingmodirop!
In my opinion a tracker should allow a user to be completely anonymous!
I can't really say if it's good or not but I am able to download pretty quick and I am satisfied with the speed. They also have tons of servers, which is useful at times. I can't give specific speeds because I did not pay attention to them, but I can upload about 300-800GB/day and I would assume the download is the same.
The only reason I have NordVPN is because it was the cheapest option of the top 5 VPNs about 2 years ago. $42/year for 3 years.
US, but it all really depends on the internet provider. For instance, the only times (happened twice) I got a notice was when I was with Comcast/xfinity. Ever since I switched I had never received another notice. It also might be that it was when TPB was still strong, torrents were sort of "new" and companies were threatening lawsuits to scare people.
Currently I have AT&T, but I have used various other providers to download torrents without VPNs and have had no problems. Personally, I always use a VPN to download torrents. Ideally you should use a VPN for everything you do online, not because of legal issues but because of the privacy a VPN provides.
Honestly, the odds of getting hit with a notice are pretty low nowadays, but it's still there.
The way I see it, it's better to spend a few bucks a month (I got NordVPN for 3 years @ $126) to be safe than to risk getting into issues with whatever company is watching me when I'm on the internet doing whatever.
I use NordVPN but might change to another service when my subscription is up. I also have Blokada and their VPN for use with my phone.
Basically sign up for ifttt & enable this [applet].(https://ifttt.com/applets/61931132d-email-me-posts-from-my-favorite-subreddit). You can choose the subreddit to monitor. This is another one which can filter based on name & subreddit. Either should work. Let me know if need more details.
Not really an expert on the private tracker-matters, but I went googling... Is she the same? https://www.trustpilot.com/users/5ef9613fd782a4210fae1413 Two reviews on Trustpilot, one extremely positive one for that seedit4me, and another really negative under the name 'Elina' for some other company?
First and foremost they don't support any form of port forwarding by design, so you're at the mercy of other peers that support inbound connections or NAT traversal using the μTP protocol. (The only upside of private trackers is that all the peers are discovered exclusively through the tracker, so you don't have to rely on DHT and peer list exchanges to find as many as possible).
In the name of privacy, only some VPN providers allow them. For example, Mullvad used to assign random forwarded ports to you on request, but had to restrict them per client + VPN location because they were running out of ports.
I've used NordVPN too and have been wondering if that is what limits my uploads. I have adequate ratio on trackers but usually way smaller than I would assume based on seeder/leecher ratio. Would other VPN providers work better?
looks like it was added
added to jackett https://github.com/Jackett/Jackett/commit/10180704fb6fdb0f625c6da419ff73e6a2af9cae
will be added to prowlarr when the PR merges https://github.com/Prowlarr/Indexers/pull/30
as with almost all indexers - with jackett or prowlarr (soon)

Anyone using NordVPN and not being able to seed on PeerJunkies? im only on one other private tracker and mainly use 2 other public trackers and they all accept incoming connections just fine. Would love to be able to use this site as it has some great stuff, but i have stay behind the vpn. Any help appreciated.
I googled their VPN policy and saw this
> Private Internet Access (PIA), special mention because of popularity, they use shared IP's, will never be allowed for site access. Seeding/leeching is ok.
I was a TL member for over 12 years, had a pretty good ratio, and then started using Private Internet Access as a VPN. One day they said I was double dipping (I wasn't), and shitcanned me immediately with no recourse. Man, was I pissed. I loved that site. I tried to sign up just now, and they said someone else is using that IP (I'm on a fucking VPN for chrissakes - of *course* other people are using my IP), so I couldn't register. Makes me super sad.
Well let me tell you, you are indeed acting idiotic. You seem to care about your privacy but at the same time aren't bothered enough to do something about it. I will just assume you are misinformed.
Get Private Internet Access VPN, they are well respected and have proven multiple times in court that they don't keep logs on their customers. With a VPN all your internet traffic is encrypted and looks like gibberish to your ISP. No one will be able to track or see what you are doing. VPN's have slowly started to become mainstream in the last couple of years, there really isn't much difficulty to using one. You log in and press a button, done. But make up your mind, you are acting like you care about your privacy while at the same time also saying you don't care enough to put some research into it.
