Coda.io closed another funding round. I thought I would post to this discussion since we were just recently talking about Coda's funding. Take care. Here is the link -> https://coda.io/@coda/all-in-on-all-in-one-docs
Yes, sounds like it should work. Here's a quick example I put together (I'll keep the link up for a few days). https://coda.io/d/Calendar-Sample_dydMxG3WN9R/Calendar-Sample_sucYW#_luCR9
Notably, there are two tables, one which would normally sync from a Google Calendar (I didn't actually set that up here in a globally shared doc for obvious reasons) and another which I populate myself. Figured it would be easier if I have separate tables for those sources of information.
There are two automation rules in the doc which copy parts of rows of those tables to a third joined table whenever any of the rows changes. The joined table uses formulas to select the "winner" for any given time slot. Then there's a view of that third table in Calendar mode so you can see the output in a friendly way. This assumes no overlapping time slots and that you want to organize by start time.
Amazing article Matthew, really well presented.
A FYI that I think is relevant to the thread, I have developed a Notion Pack for Coda. It is a really good way if you are using Notion to enter into the Coda world or if you use both to integrate them together.
You can subscribe to the Upcoming Page in Product Hunt and you can check the example doc.
If anyone want to have access before the public release please let me know :)
> Versus about $70M for Notion
According to Coda itself, Notion "raised $340M (Series C, Series B article) with customers such as MetaLab and Loom."
Yeah, we found out that Hopin doesn't offer public replays after the event; the viewer would have needed to register beforehand to watch the replays (even if they didn't attend live).
What there is for us to show is all contained in our Block Party doc here: https://coda.io/@coda/block-party-2021. There are links in there to our editor beta page, which has some more information. Plus, replays will be available very soon on YouTube!
Huh. No secrets here, but you can get an overview and sign up for what's coming soon: https://coda.io/@coda/block-party-2021/a-gift-to-you-early-access-27
Rich now there are formulas to visualize a list as a bulleted list and an ordered list, but not a checklist. (See documentation)
This would be a fantastic feature request for the community https://community.coda.io/
If I understand your question correctly, there are two ways to do this:
u/nicknick43 had a great idea on how to improve this template - here's an updated version with his thoughts: https://coda.io/@kenny/invoice-template-updated-with-invoice-tracking
This is my favorite example of tagging in a table. Like u/rudeboysamurai called out, you can do this in tables not canvas (yet). https://coda.io/@erik-olesund/an-inside-look-at-thumbtacks-research-archive
I seem to have the same issue as well. This issue is highly voted on the feedback page, https://coda.io/@heljar/coda-figma-plugin-feedback
Let's figure out who built and maintains this plugin.
Hey @kriptk, Al from Coda here. When you copy/paste comma-separated values from Excel to Coda, Coda treats that value as one long text. If you want to filter that column for a value that contains one of the words that's separated by a comma, you can use the `Find()` formula. Here's an embedded Coda doc that shows how you could filter just the rows where the `Random CSV` column contains the word "apple":

Sorry for the late reply.

The first() function simply returns the first item in a list. And you are right that the rules will give a person the lower grade even if they are just 0.00001% below. You can workaround it by using the Ceiling function (https://coda.io/formulas#Ceiling). This function will round things up to the precision you want, and then you can compare the values.
Al from Coda here, thanks for catching this bug! I'm assuming you're referring to the Recipe and Cook Ideas template right? Here's a link to the actual doc you can play with, feel free to make a copy of the doc once you're ready to save your changes!
It is definitely doable in Coda, though requires a slightly different way of structuring the data.
Take a look at this doc which has one way to do what you want. https://coda.io/embed/Iy0RJ_WVYH/_suJmu?viewMode=embedplay
