I am currently checking out NoteJoy, which offers nested notebooks, code snippets, a web clipper and bi-directional linking. So far, I have enjoyed it and the synchronisation across devices is fast. The web clipper is not as good as Evernote's offering but it does pull the text and links with a link for the website at the top of the note.
Ok fair enough. Notejoy should be perfect, if you don’t mind paying $4 a month. I’ve tested it with real-time collaboration and it works amazingly well. It’s free for up to 100MB of storage, more than enough to try it out. Links between notes work, but are nowhere near as intuitive to use. They talk about team wikis here: https://notejoy.com/help/building-a-team-wiki
Notejoy has been my go to for a few years now. Works great on iOS, Android, and Mac. Haven’t used it on PC but I’m sure it’s the same experience. I really like the hierarchical notebook layout. Notes are stored in markdown so it’s easy to move the data to another app if it’s not the right fit for you.
Have you tried note taking apps with markdown made for collaboration/teams? I haven’t used any, so I’m not sure if they are a solution to your problem, but apps for teams are made so that a document can be worked on at the same time by multiple users.
A quick google search gives me Boost Note and Notejoy. Notejoy looks pretty simple. Might be worth a try?
Notejoy (www.notejoy.com) may be an option. The premium plan has end to end encryption (https://notejoy.com/help/end-to-end-encryption). Not sure if they notify you about failed/strange logons though.
I never managed to make the Evernote way work. This is the solution I found for those that want a semi automatic way. Might not convert all text perfectly, but good enough for me.
I've tried most, if not all of the solution described on the interweb. But it's either super difficult, involving scripting, different software components and a good amount of luck to make it work, or simply way to time consuming.
I ended up using Notejoy.com (signed up for a month to do the conversions). Export from Onenote (had to remove all sound attachments) and import to Notejoy. Then export all the notes to google drive (remember to not export excessive amounts > 250). Download all docs in a zip with their individual folders (first structure of Onenote). Download the docs as docx files and unzip them. Import one and one of the folders to have at least the top level sorting of folders in Notion. Rename import to the folder name.
What's left after the import is to go through the notes and add them under other notes if you used the second and third hierarchy in Onenote. It's a bit messy, but should take little time compared to exporting and importing individual pages manualley.

Notejoy update from December 17:
https://notejoy.com/feature-requests/evernote-importer
They expect it to be finished by the end of December. So they will be one month late but it's coming soon. Evernote just cut off my device limit several days ago so I will try to survive until Notejoy is ready.
I've recently been trying Notejoy because they have a decent integration into my Trello workflow.
