I was feeling like I was using too many tools and letting little tasks fall through the cracks, so I consolidated and mapped my process to try to identify areas of improvement.
Still a few things I haven't quite perfected, so I'm always open to suggestions from constructive contributors.
I simply cannot profess enough the benefits of gQueues. You gotta check it out! It's the perfect task manager for those who use Google Calendar. It's the only tool on this map I pay for.
If anyone has any bright ideas, I'd love to be able to eliminate Evernote and keep everything on Drive, but it just doesn't seem robust and fast enough for note-taking applications. Both are awesome at what they do, but I just can't seem to merge 'notes' and 'files' in to one logical ecosystem.
Love this sub, keep up the good work, friends!
A to-do app based around list queues, especially with the ability to have completed items at the top respawn at the bottom. The only good implementation I've ever seen is the webapp GQueues, and they charge for their mobile interface.
Also, if the GBA emulator supported networking and multiplayer, I would be playing Pokemon with my boyfriend instead of typing this.
Have you tried GQueues? A lot of the features you require are only in the subscription version, but they work really really well. It's $25 per year. I know it's a lot for a todo list, but I think it's worth it. I'm happy to pay this much for it.
You need a subscription to enable the mobile apps (Android and iOS), as well as Google Calendar integration. But the Google Cal integration works really well. There's more stuff enabled when you pay, but those 2 are the big ones for me.
Feature list, and free vs paid comparison
***Edit: Also if you're a Google Apps user, there's a wicked gmail gadget for converting emails into tasks. Subscription users only.
Just spent the past few days using a few different alternatives. I'm not sure if they will continue with Astrid, but even if so, I'm jumping ship. I have no faith in Yahoo. Just settled on:
It doesn't look as pretty, but I have so much data and so many lists that I'm at the point where looks are important. It's just gotta work...and work everytime.
