No no, he just said plungers. Fucking plungers and regular plungers both have a flared base, but most of the time they are quite different.
We found 60 of those Mardi Gras cake mixes that have the plastic baby in them at a Kroger in Dallas for $1.00 each. Bought all of them, sent them to Amazon and sold every one of them for 19.99 each. Grocery store hits for us are few and far between, but when they hit, they hit hard.
edit to add a link.
If this is the same book, I think you are correct. The titles wouldn't be appropriate today, but they weren't necessarily racist 40 years ago. Just like "colored" was once appropriate enough a description for the NAACP to use it in their name, but now it's not.

Deterrents?? Take a few clearly marked Amazon boxes that have been clearly cut while neatly opening them...place a few loosely packed unwanted yard sale items...reseal back with clear tape neatly and place back on the front door...or near the garage door...heck out by the road under the mail box! keep the cameras on them and make note of the color vehicle and description of individuals taking said boxes and BAM! Couple days or a few weeks of that crap will deter most of the package thieves around. It will help clear the clutter round the house as an added feature. As an added bonus...clear out the kitty litter box and place that in there. Gather the household garbage clearly making sure your name is not listed and use that. If you really want to do them in...Have the ladies of the house place their monthly napkins in a smaller sized box for a few days...I'm telling ya...give them a run for they money!!! Steal on my brotha'!! Get a nextdoor.com account and post your story there with a link to the YouTube video you post of the video you got on the security cameras and screen caps you can post directly to nextdoor with a clear description of when, where and any other info about what you can find on the perps!
Do you sell them on Amazon? I just checked and there are still sellers selling Apple products under generic listings despite Apple being completely banned from Amazon.
https://www.amazon.com/Music-Player-Classic-Generation-Packaged/dp/B07P5PPWDF
Chances are the genre of the CD is g-funk. I'm a veteran vinyl/music reseller and west coast g-funk has been huge in Japan right now. They are on the hunt for all the independent/underground releases right now whether it be on cassette, CD or vinyl. In general they love black music whether it be soul/rap/hip hop. Here's an example of a japanese CD shop that specalizes in G-funk/west coast rap only. These guys will pay top dollar for CDs like that, source them, buy all the deadstock from the producer/rapper/whoever they can find connected to the project and then resell them all. I myself have sold G-funk records that no one in the states would ever buy.
Here's an example of a g-funk group that is very sought after amongst the japanese. I've sold the 12 inch single that featured a few songs off that album for $150 sealed. I still have 6 more copies. I like g-funk and it's pretty meh compared to other artists I've heard. That group in particular is pretty funny because they are kids rapping over g-funk beats, one is 13 and the other is 14 if I recall.
I myself could not find any info on the CD you listed. If you have any questions, feel free to message me. I have buyers lined up and may be able to help you sell it. (And no, I don't mean selling it for you/trying to make money from you. I'll just hook you up with a potential buyer.)
Picked up this awesome camera mount on Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/5ft-Articulating-Arm-Camera-Mount/dp/B075NRKFVQ
I love it. It's an articulating boom with four pieces. You can take pictures from almost any angle, from completely vertical to extreme close-ups. The C part has a ball joint at the top that can swivel 360 degrees and make the camera go completely vertical for top-down shots. Since most of the mount is above the camera, you can get it extremely close to the table surface. It really shines if your camera has a remote app with live feed from the viewfinder. You can control the camera without even touching it.
This mount has sped up my photo process a lot. If I'm taking pictures of things that are roughly the same size from the same angle, all I need to do is slap them down on the table one after the other and tap a button on my phone to take the picture.
Only bad things about it is there is some sway after you reposition the camera and the maximum weight capacity is 2 pounds so no big DSLRs if that's your thing. The camera in the photos is an Olympus E-PL7 and the C mount can even accommodate a large flash or LED panel mounted on the hot shoe.
Not affiliated with the seller or product, just thought I'd share a really awesome product.
I'll share one, not quite as good as a cash reward, but pretty close.
https://www.apple.com/support/ipodnano_replacement/
tl;dr Apple will replace pretty much any 1st gen iPod Nano, regardless of condition.
Originally they sent out refurbished 1st gens as replacements, but I guess they ran out or something. Now they send out refurbished current gen models.
Found one with a broken screen at the GW Outlet, with the cost per weight I probably paid 25 cents for it.
(edit: current replacements are refurbs, not "new")
It looks like it's the cheapo Yi - I have four that I bought on Amazon for $120 during a sale. I have three in my house and one in my shop.
I love it - it even captures audio and mine function great.
79 of these new in package for $60, thrift store had them priced at $4.99 each but the teenage cashier proposed $60 when I asked for a discount.
https://www.amazon.com/Braun-51S-Replacement-Compatible-Previous/dp/B001VEK1IU
Not sure how to flip them yet, I usually do video games on Amazon, not anything FBA. Tempted to just list them as a lot on ebay and be done with them.
I have started using Excel and have written some pretty useful formulas to auto calculate Amazon and ebay fees - let me know if you're interested and I can post the spreadsheet tonight. There is a column for sell location and it determines which formula to use based on that. I also have it where I input the buying location and I can input the sticker price I paid at Goodwill or a yard sale and it will add sales tax for me, or not (if from a yard sale, estate sale, or Craigslist).
Edit: Here it is; once you understand the formulas (or if you don't care) just delete my explanations. I keep a line with the formulas at the bottom of all of my entries and copy it to the line below as I add entries.
Too bad too. I've been browsing random Chinese watches on Amazon lately and there are some really nice looking ones, but I know there's no way they'd last. Some really strange and interesting designs too.
Check out the 'customers also shopped for' section under this watch.
The last time I bought a hundred mailers of this size on Amazon they were a little bit less than $0.13 each. Extremely good quality too.
They weren't this exact style but here's an example Amazon
When I saw the ones you posted my first thought was that's kind of cute however I personally would never spend so much more money on them. However if you are a low volume seller you may not notice the price difference that much.
The other person bringing up the handles possibly getting caught on conveyor belts is an interesting theory. I wonder if there's truth to that.
If they don't get caught and your volume isn't too high (so you don't notice the cost) these are pretty cute. Although I personally enjoy patterns a little bit more.
But fun find.
After comparing the pictures to those on Amazon, I think you have listed the 1110 model with the 1.25" barrel. The 3/4" barrel is much skinnier than the power selector knob.
Sold a NIB VCR for $600 through Amazon FBA, that I paid around $40 about 2 months ago, so that was nice.
I had this exchange about it 2 months ago. https://www.reddit.com/r/Flipping/comments/8gyq0d/daily_newbie_thread_may_04/dyg1b12/?context=3&st=jjk0fsaq&sh=8d61b0c1
Thanks! I do have a little lightbox, but honestly I've been a bit lazy lately. So I've just been throwing things on a piece of posterboard in either natural light or under the very bright LED lighting in my kitchen. And I use my phone (Galaxy S9) as the camera.
I would just go ahead and spend the rest of it on competitively priced household consumables you use regularly than to spend hours searching for bargains you can resell on eBay.
Otherwise search the deal sites such as https://slickdeals.net/ for ideas.
It happened very often. Everyone wants to make money and raise the price, thinking their product it's exclusive only because it's old. It pisses me off when they ask a high price for an item in poor condition or which needs serious restoration investments. I was hunting for a Chanel hobo bag and what I found needed restoration, but it still was priced for the same amount as a bag in excellent condition. When I started pointing out the flaws that I'll have to eliminate and how long it'll be to make the bag look decent, the lady selling it advised me to look elsewhere. I wished her luck finding a customer, but she called me a week later, and I bought the bag for less money than its actual price.
And it's the same with vintage and antiques. I enjoy using https://www.3dsellers.com/ebay-fee-calculator but people should also use their brains and assess their items' state.
Yep. I started to accrue a death pile myself and bought one of these which should be delivered Monday. Honestly can't wait to get this crap organized that's been cluttering my apartment floors for weeks.
I've mentioned this app elsewhere, so I'm going to copy my previous comment.
The closest thing I've been able to find is an app called ClassAdLister. It's a nifty tool that lets you create an inventory item/entry in the app, and then post the items across platforms. Not as fast as a script, but it's definitely useful.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.iss.classadlister
So many people here need to do some ethical introspection. This really is a scary thread. This kind of moral and ethical vacuousness is one of the things that drive me from the classroom. When I could no longer make my classes why this kind of thing is wrong, I was done. Aristotle's Nicomachean Ethics: read it! Twice!
I think you quitting your job qualifies as a life event, meaning you can be added to your wife's work health insurance policy now (when you quit).
https://getpocket.com/explore/item/i-spent-my-childhood-helping-my-mom-sell-dead-people-s-junk
I don’t know if anyone else read this article, but it kinda made me want to go off. I won’t be that person who finds the writers email and sends them a message, but it did make me consider it. The person who wrote it clearly dislikes their Mom and the people who shop at estate sales. I’d probably hate estate sale people too if my Mom was an incompetent kook who couldn’t run a business, yet made me spend my weekends at her estate sales. It also annoys me because they sentimentally talk about a box of WWII letters and how people ignored it for things they could resell, which they also seem to view in a negative light, but I’d be all over that box of letters.
Pretty good, nice start.
If you want some feedback on the HTML:
You are using some deprecated HTML attributes.
Your CSS is needlessly verbose. For example you have font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; three times whereas you only have to put it once in your body {}. Every element inherent its parent's styles unless there is another style that takes priority - that's the cascading part of CSS. I hope that makes a little sense here's more info.
Setting a height on the text input causes the text to get cut off in my browser.
Found a NIB Star Wars Science Force Glove at GW for $3 and sold it on Amazon FBA for $89.99. I was happy and surprised that it only took about two weeks to sell.
Everyone couple of weeks, someone gives a link to this tape on amazon when it goes on sale, and it seems a lot of folks here are happy with it.
Amazon really does sell everything...
https://www.amazon.com/AT-Western-Electric-Pay-Phone/dp/B00B8ASUN0/
That one weighs exactly 45 pounds . Of course we have no idea what model/brand OP has, but I'd bet there aren't too many quarters in it.
Tbh, it might not be defined as brand new in box, but it is defined as perfect, as if new.
Those scratches make it slightly less perfect, which is simply not perfect, and thus also not mint.
When looking at Amazon sales rank, be sure to cross-reference with the historical data on camelcamelcamel. Sales ranks are updated every hour on Amazon and can change dramatically if a recent sale has occurred. A product that has averaged 3,000,000 historically in Beauty may show as 30,000 if someone has bought in the last day. I have gotten excited and bought 10 of something only to find that it typically only sells about four times a year. Now I'm sitting on $150 in inventory with three other FBA competitors. Lesson learned.
It makes perfect sense to me what the customer is saying. The unit has already been programmed and is missing mounting hardware. They thought they were buying a new unit from Amazon, but they believe they mistakenly received an item that was previously returned to Amazon. I hope you listed it as "used" and the customer is simply mistaken about it being "new". Some customers think all items on Amazon are "new" and some customers don't even realize they're buying from a 3rd party seller. It happens very frequently.
Your response contains paranoid accusations that you should not be making to an Amazon customer. "Did you buy the item and then sell to someone else" Why the hell would you think that? Do you not realize that many electronics have a setup procedure that only works once out of the box, then cannot be done again unless the unit is factory reset? What are you even disputing?
You should start by shipping them the plastic anchors they're looking for. That's a whopping $4. You can dropship them or ship them yourself. https://www.amazon.com/Antrader-Plastic-Drilling-Curtains-Cabinets/dp/B07VLKHZ82
>Ultimately, I'm suspicious and think I should just ignore the request
You should work with them to get the unit working. If they can't get it working, you need to provide a return label and issue a full refund. If you ignore it, you'll get an A-Z claim that you will lose.
You can just buy some 40 volume creme from amazon or a hair salon. I used it on my NES 2 years ago and it still looks like its brand new. Heres the link to the stuff I use https://www.amazon.com/Marianna-Super-Star-Creme-Developer/dp/B00FKVYCHQ/ref=sr_1_2_s_it?s=beauty&ie=UTF8&qid=1499263024&sr=1-2&keywords=40+Volume+Creme
No. Just the serial. They aren't going to make it too hard to return, it's defective and they don't want it catching fire and someone suing them.
That's the regular novel. He has the graphic novel:

He can initiate an charge back through his credit card company. But since PayPal has "seller protection" you can appeal. https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=xpt%2Fseller%2FChargebackRisk-outside#Q1
Best way to see actual selling price of a book? For example, I have this book but the prices are all over the place.
http://www.amazon.com/Curtain-Hercule-Mysteries-Hardcover-September/dp/B010EW5D28
Found this sealed in Goodwill. I researched it in the store because it was still sealed and it was sold within 3 hrs for $74 on eBay. I've been hooked ever since
protip #2 - invest in an impact driver such as this. You can have that stand off in literally 5 seconds. Those drivers are QUICK
NO. Your inventory is your inventory. If you read each listing carefully you will see that the item is sell by either Amazon or third party, or both. If its only third parties, below the buy box there is an option to see who else is selling and you will land in a page like this. If it is sold by amazon and third party then 99.99999% of the time amazon will have the buy box, but you also will have an option to see other sellers too, like this on the right side.
Now, if a customer wants to buy something, they can choose the seller to buy from. They can buy from amazon too if its available. Or buy from whoever else is selling. Unless co-mingle inventory, your inventory should have your barcode on it. This is why people fight for buy box, and pricing adjustment is a key to selling. You also don't want to race to the bottom cause then no one makes money.
Your inventory will not be include in the items that are shipped and sold by Amazon. But rather, sold by BobbleheadDwight, fulfilled by Amazon.
Hope this answer your question.
Every one has a different process, but I write the drafts on my laptop and then use my iPhone to take photos and then I upload them on the app. I like to write up a big pile of items, like 40-50 and then do the photos.
I suggest this one because it has the movable display, but any of the $20-30 postal scales on Amazon work great.
If you're making sales daily, I'd get a label printer. Those paper and ink costs add up and label printers are cheaper over the long run, faster, and easier to use.
Yes, the more you have listed the better your chances are at sales. But you also want to make sure you have quality items as well. As long you are consistently listing quality items with demand, you will see sales. If you have less than a few hundred items listed, you will most always have wide variance in sales from day to day. You just need either a very in demand inventory or a larger inventory to consistent sales. So just keep listing as many good items as you can.
I'm currently BETA testing an app I developed for fellow flippers. At its base it is an easy way to update your spreadsheets on the go, it creates a google sheet with all info you need. You can find it here, if you're interested in trying it out. Android only for now.
Found about 5 of these Star Wars toy at Walmart for $25 each. The boxes are a little rough, but none of them looked like they've ever been opened. They are being sold on the website now at $98 and originally $140. About $65-$70 on eBay. Thoughts on at least buying one and testing the waters?
You can look each of them up individually at
But I would weed out old textbooks, bestsellers, popular fiction without bothering to look these up.
You have to dig a bit deeper to get the bigger picture. If you look at camelcamelcamel for that item:
http://camelcamelcamel.com/Quench-Mojito-Master/product/B00M77UAZY
You can see its normally $12-13 most of the year (which would make it a bad buy in the first place). But it just happened to run up to $38.99 this Christmas. 4th quarter is absolutely nuts on Amazon. Also, the sales rank is at 168k for toys, which isn't really spectacular, but with 114 other sellers that's a shitload of people to wait out on a product that isn't moving fast. This would be a product I would pass on based on past pricing and number of sellers. I would also check keepa and see if amazon has stocked this item.
My point is you have to look at the bigger picture and make a judgement call, but there's plenty of money to be made. And yes, the race to the bottom sucks, but just set mins on your repricer and wait it out.
Microsoft's official way for downloading images (for win7 at least) is now through this page:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows7
However, you'll probably find that they won't take OEM keys. (Actually, I've tried with Retail keys, and the site only wants me to download the Korean iso or something lol). Feel free to "obtain" an ISO for the proper version, verify the MD5 sum matches official releases, and you'll be fine.
When reinstalling with an OEM COA key & retail install disc, you might have to enter the product key twice, or at least I usually do. The first time, during setup, configures Windows as an OEM installation with a generic key. When you go to activate, it will fail. Click "Change product key", enter the same key again, and then activate. Should work fine.
Since you mentioned they're tablets, I'm guessing there's no DVD drives. Here's an official Microsoft tool to make a USB install drive:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/windows-usb-dvd-download-tool
I like it better too but it's too dirty, it'd catch my eye but then I'd be wondering if i'm going to get a rag ball soaked with motor oil instead of a crisp clean shirt.
My background is a piece of plywood with "black galaxy" epoxy (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zETvRRTStf0) for a granite like look, very flashy, but a good cheaper alternative would be a posterboard and marble-like peel-n-stick wallpaper such as https://www.amazon.com/Yancorp-Granite-Wallpaper-Adhesive-Peel-Stick/dp/B07HRNN7QJ/
You're definitely not wasting time on how you display your clothing. I hated my torso mannequin (open back), and bought a half torso full mannequin on a stand from Amazon. I paid around $70, and it's a size small. I'm able to put XL clothes on it without it looking frumpy.

With jeans and shorts, I do the same thing you do. I have a set of nice wooden hangers I use, with a small hook on the wall to hang it from. For all of my photos, I have a roll of background paper attached to the wall with push pins.

For taking pictures, I use my iPhone. I have a nice DSLR, but it's a PITA to upload pictures and then manually add them to listings. Plus, image resolution is diminished when you upload to eBay. As long as you are getting the right lighting and have a newer phone, I think it's the way to go. I do all of my listings on my computer and save as drafts, then upload pictures / publish listings through the app. Sometimes I do it in reverse and start a listing with just a title and pictures from my phone, and then finish the rest from my computer. Only downside is that you're limited on how many drafts you can have saved at once, and you can't really touch up photos on the eBay app.
Here's a question for you - I've been trying to find the best technique / method to prepping my listings. Right now I do everything in bulk (pictures, measurements). What's your process like?
I found the manual for the projector online with ease and the power cable is a standard computer power cable. No AC adapter or anything, most people have a few of these kicking around but if you don't here is an amazon listing.
First class parcel is flat rate for 13oz and under. Doesn't matter if it is to the town next over or going to a US territory or possession like Guam. I stick with priority for more valuable or fragile lightweight items.
Priority rates vary greatly by region unless using flat rate which is best for heavy items. http://www.stamps.com/whitepapers/priority-mail-rate-guide.pdf
Yes they can choose a different shipping option if it is available
Here's an example when making a listing: Shipping options
Meh. This is just the extra large one. I have the jumbo.
We're definitely looking into it! Check out a full read from one of our lead devs over on our forums: https://www.discogs.com/forum/thread/706385#7041760
In the meantime, there's the barcode scanner that will work for most of the releases that came out after the 80s.
it doesnt look like you have a HUGE inventory, i feel like something like this would work
also i have a similar small space, i have a bin for pens, thank you notes, tape, scissors, etc, then all my cords are wrapped up, and stuffed into toilet paper rolls and put in a shoebox. i just fold clothing up and put it high up so my cats cant sleep on it, i have a bin for small stuff that cant stack, big stuff that cant stack on the shelf on its own, a bin for broken things i need to see if i can fix/piece together/needs some kind of attention, and the rest i stack on top of eachother on shelves, like if theyre boxes and such. its not really organized within that so i dont have help there, but im small enough that it doesnt bug me. also doesnt help but when i find 100s of the same thing(dumpster diving) i put it all in a box with a label on top
e: also, dollar tree is great for storage containers/the bins i use mostly!
You can ship through paypal with ebay's pricing here. You don't need to actually list items on ebay to use the shipping.
I have stamps.com and just recently learned that you can ship non-ebay sold items through paypal and the savings seem to be identical, but saves me 15 bucks a month. I'll be canceling my stamps.com account.
Camelcamelcamel shows 3 sales this year, and the price never dropped below $400ish. Looks like it does sell, so NOT impossible. Not sure what you're talking about.
I would MF this set. There's only one set for sale at the moment and the sales rank is 3.2 million. As for the price, it looks reasonable based on the trend on camelcamelcamel. The sales rank chart shows a recent spike in April, so it has sold recently for that price. I did find a set on eBay for $450 with no bids, but this is not exactly a hot item and a DVD version of the material exists and can be purchased for less than $100.
List it, shelve it, check the price every once and a while, and it will eventually sell.
and the opposite of OP Bought these sets for $50 each about 12 months ago. Bought 3 of them. Sold my first set for $200. Price starts plummeting weeks after I receive my items. I play the chase to the bottom and finally clear out my last 2 for $99.95 each. I don't know how to read these charts as well as others, but it seems like it has been in the $50-60 range for a few months now. camel
Is it just a book?
You can't sell it on Amazon because it's currently listed under the "Health & Personal Care" category, which as far as I know is a restricted category. Why it's listed in that category is beyond me... it just looks like a book in the listing, so am unsure why it's in that particular category.
If it is indeed a book, and there is an ISBN on it, then simply create a new listing for it in Amazon. If there is no ISBN I believe you can still create a new listing for it. Otherwise just keep listing it on eBay and tinker with the price. I highly doubt this is in-demand book so it might just be a slow seller. I've had books take over a year to sell.
Is this your listing? If so, I don't know if that price is justified. Sure it's listed for that much on Amazon (although in the wrong category, so I don't know what exactly is going on there...), but you don't really know that it's selling for that much. Plus there's a similarly listed item on eBay right now for $15.00. I'd price it in the $49.99-99.99 range with 'Best Offer' unless you have some reason to think otherwise. If that is your listing I'd highly suggest better/more photographs.
EDIT: Also note that this book is selling for as little as $30 on AbeBooks.
It depends on the publisher, but there a few quick ways to find out.
This page has some good info and a short video to help you out:
At this stage I would recommend Wave. Buy all your items on a designated credit card so you can keep track of spending and then input all your other expenses manually.
I wouldn't worry about it. Ship with tracking and signature delivery confirmation* and make sure you ship to the address provided by PayPal.
* Technically not needed for items under $750 but we use it on nearly everything we sell. It makes sure the package actually gets delivered and not just left on someone's porch.
=====
Edit: For those who are saying $250, this was recently changed to $750 by PayPal. Source. While technically it's not required until $750 to me it makes sense to use it for cheaper items too. We very rarely have item not received cases filed against us and I think one reason for that is that signature required means the item always gets passed to a person and not just left in a mailbox or on a porch. It doesn't cost much to add it.
>I get feedback 2/5 a few days later complaining: "If you describe an item as "Used - Very Good", it really should have all its parts. Saying it has no battery doesn't mean having NO BACK! It's not "very good"; it is part of a phone with the guts hanging out of the back AND missing the battery. I'll never believe any description from you again without a good picture. I should have known there was a reason not to show the back."
The customer was correct and you were wrong, because you violated Amazon's rules:
>Used - Very Good: A well-cared-for item that has seen limited use but remains in great condition. The item is complete, unmarked, and undamaged, but may show some limited signs of wear. Item works perfectly.
and
>Items in any of the following conditions are unacceptable for listing on Amazon.com:
> * Item does not work perfectly in every regard. > * Item is missing essential accompanying material or parts. (This does not necessarily include instructions.) > * Item requires repair or service.
The description is not meant to be used as a way to bypass the above rules. Be glad he didn't file an A-Z claim; he would have won, and you would have been forced to refund his money and (probably) not get the phone back.
The next time you have non-working junk to sell, go to eBay.
Use something like Keepass and generate unique passwords for every account. I also use unique e-mail addresses/usernames for each account when possible and unique words for answers to security questions.
I got one of these on amazon for about this much. It's a great little printer. Amazon has some used ones for $41ish prime eligible if you don't mind getting a used one. Link hope I did that right (on mobile)
I got a Dymo 450 for under $40 on eBay, but I think current listings are closer to $50-60 (Amazon has the 450 Turbo for $50 right now). If you do eBay and Amazon, a Dymo 4XL might be a better investment because it can do USPS, UPS, Fedex, and FBA labels. You'd have to buy labels separately for both, but they're fairly cheap on eBay. I believe an alternative is the Zebra LP2844? If you have a Mac, you'd be better off sticking with the Dymo because the Zebra can be difficult to set up on a Mac.
I don't know much about laser printers, but I think most run around $100. A lot of people will tell you thermals are better because no toner to replace.
Plain background (doesn't need to be white, but that's super generic and easy), good lighting. Natural light is great, but it can also limit the amount of time daily that you can take good pictures during. And a couple of decent lights aren't really that expensive.
It can be as simple as a large sheet of white tagboard and a couple of lights. I personally just use my phone as a camera and a cheap/small lighting setup I found on Amazon. Here's a photo I've taken with my low-tech setup.
Typically in bulk on eBay/Amazon. Just find a supplier you like and that's in your price range.
This is what I use.

A bunch of people bought gas station gift cards which caused eBay to change the coupon. See slickdeals comments
Ebay may be $750, but paypal is $250.
>For payments of $250 USD or more, a signature confirmation of receipt is also required.

You beat me to the punch. I was about to hit comment when I pulled up the page and saw that you beat me by like 10 seconds.
I would probably recommend QuickBooks Online before desktop. QBO has a correlating app, which can be helpful for on the go. Getting the self employed version may be what you need and it's on sale for $5 for the first three months (normally $10/month). Pricing can be found here. There is also You Need a Budget Business. However, I would check into it if it is appropriate for your needs.
I think the only free option there is would be Google Drive.
Edit: Added more information.
Absolutely! We have folks that are working remotely from California, Massachusetts, and even Scotland to name a few. To stay up to date on the postings, check out the jobs page here: https://www.discogs.com/jobs
Send another message both via Amazon and direct email to the buyer. Look into the possibility of buying another copy (say via http://www.abebooks.com) and having it drop-shipped. If still no response and drop-shipping would be uneconomic cancel. Amazon has policies about when a book should be shipped by: obviously you need to make a decision before this time is up.
Yeah, fake La Perla is a thing. The odds of four $850 current season swimsuits making it to a thrift are astronomical, but the odds of somebody dumping their haul from China are quite a bit better.
FYI - Accepting multiple payments for one item makes the item ineligible for PP's Buyer/Seller Protection - so maybe it's a wash. Personally, I wouldn't allow it. If, big if, you wanted to give them more time, then you could wait for ONE payment. I'd refund the partial paymentl. Keep on eye on the clock, and file a UPI if they don't pay up when they said on that date.
Source: PP Protection for Buyers 13.2 Pay for the full amount of the item with one payment. Items purchased with multiple payments – like a deposit followed by a final payment – are not eligible

Until eBay "trusts" you you are going to have to wait a few weeks for the funds to be available in your Paypal account. There is a guide here https://www.paypal.com/webapps/mpp/security/paypal-holds-faq on how long it will take for you to get your money. It depends on a variety of things, such as how you ship, when the item is delivered, and if there is positive feedback from the buyer.
I always get the receipt. If you read the PayPal fine print, seller protection only applies when you have proof of shipment, i.e. the receipt.
Any workers I have met have no idea what records are worth, but they love to sell them bulk 50c each etc. https://www.discogs.com/ would be your friend if you have the patience for it. Really I just get upset at us cutting cords on sound systems for the copper, and throwing out brand new school textbooks because they don't sell; but could fetch a nice price online.
Check your washing machine part on http://camelcamelcamel.com/. Each spike in the Sales Rank tab should be a sale, so you can see roughly how often it sells to determine how many to send in at a time to try and avoid storage fees.
Not sure which of these are from this specific price drop, but here is a link to items that have recently been discounted (with the highest percentages of discount):

I like /u/hallsgator's tip - I've been having a similar problem to /u/NewbieMcRedditson in one aspect of my flipping, and I think it must be the ease of access / hard to get to items that I should be going for. I'm just trying to offer something cheaper than one usually finds, and I'm hardly getting any bites. (for example, I'm trying to sell this for $50 to give me $20 profit, and I've only had one person show interest, at far too low an offer)
Great point - I think being able to diversify your income streams (but also the channels on which you sell on are super important)
If you sold clothes just on Ebay, it might be a good time to start selling on Poshmark, Mercari, Depop, and the list goes on. I actually compiled 60+ places that you can start selling on online here.
It really depends what the books are. Most fiction books by a living author that tours often to promote each new release - $0 added value. Most poetry chapbooks by living poets- $0 additional value (most of these chapbooks are sold at readings). Contemporary cookbooks- $0. Dead author of mid-list fiction- if their work is not in demand by collectors, unlikely to see a bump in price from a signature.
Check ABE for the comparable books listed in the market place (check the box to the right to search for only signed copies). If they have any value, list on Abe or eBay, as Amazon is more for commodity books and not searchable for signed.
I've been selling clothes for about a year and a half, and in my experience suits and blazers tend to be a long tail sell (obviously there are exceptions, just in general) because you need a specific sized person to be looking for that style jacket. Usually the profit margins are very high if you find the right brands, however. Personally, I usually pass on Boss and Dior unless they are $5 or less.
I would probably try listing them for cheap and just have them sit there, it might be a while depending on what size and how good your listing is. Maybe throw in best offer as well just to get some attention.
Raiken Profit has a really good guide on selling blazers and suits. It's extremely detailed and well worth the price.
https://www.apple.com/support/ipodnano_replacement/
they send you a box to ship your nano to them, and they'll send you a new version. I just got a new 7th generation ipod nano, pretty worth it imo!
To expand on at least one point...
Selvedge is the edge of the fabric that holds the ends together so they don't fray. On quilting cotton, for example, it might look like this. You'll find info about the fabric, including who made it, on there. On Levi's, it looks like the older ones look like this at the seams.
I'll be honest I don't know much about these but I was trying to determine authenticity on a pair I had not too long ago so I thought I might be able to help a bit.
I did find this "The tongue on the upper should display the brand name and the swoosh, sometimes with the style or model name. The inside part of the tongue should have a tag printed with information; including size, country of manufacture and the SKU number. This unique number, typically 9 digits long, should match the number printed on the side of the box. Fake Nikes will usually display random numbers on the tag, but they won’t match the ones on the box."
The tags used to say nikebetterworld.com on them but that supposedly stopped in 2016.
This also has a few things to look for.
Hope that helps a bit.
Well my item has a ton of charts and information I just don't know how to interpret it. Here's the page if that helps. http://camelcamelcamel.com/FujiFilm-A340-Digital-Camera-Optical/product/B0001D56SW
Tell your boyfriend to check out https://ifttt.com/, and set it to send him emails when stuff he's looking for is listed.
I got into chicken coops last year, and haven't had time to pursue urban chicken raising, but i'm reminded every other day when someone lists a new one :D almost bought one which was ridiculously affordable the other day.
Not necessarily a guide or help book, but as a reseller this book is really interesting.

I'm really interested in selling things on Amazon but I have no idea how to go about shipping for the most part. I've been in a post office maybe twice in my life so I'm unsure what all I have to do to ship something. I read on here that you can print your own postage/labels? Do I just get a printer like this and then print a label from USPS from here or I read somewhere that people use UPS. Do I just make a UPS account and have the ability to print labels from there?
Found it! Amazon - $175.00
https://www.amazon.com/Waterman-Expert-Oriental-Red-Ballpoint/dp/B0006G2J84/
Ebay - $100 - $200
was this an easy sell?
I have one for sale on Amazon. I think mines listed for 79.99 (222 sales) I was thinking of keeping it. I'll sell it to you for half of what it's listed for plus shipping..... it does more than what you want ..... figure I'd throw it out there....... Lexmark X5650 All-in-One Inkjet Printer https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001D788HQ/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_c_api_iZSCybH96EWBA
Look on amazon, they aren't bad on boxes, not the best, but if you aren't ordering regularly, its not going to affect your margins too much if you are paying .60 instead of .40 per box.
https://www.amazon.com/Pratt-PRA0008-Recycled-Corrugated-Cardboard/dp/B01N3TJ9OM/
that was just one of the first that came up, you can probably get by with smaller, and find a cheaper shipper also, so .26 @100 boxes doesn't sound too bad.
You should order a scale today. Like right now.
In the meantime, I'd suggest the following:
Go online and search for the bread machine and "weight." You'll probably go to an Amazon page. That will include the weight.
Measure the package.
You could probably add a pound to the weight of the bread maker to account for the box and stuff. That is going to be close.
Go to FitShipper and determine your likely cheapest way to ship, but realize that unless you can weigh it then you will need to go somewhere to ship it and will lose out on the eBay discounts.
For example, let's say it's this one
eBay says it weights 18.2 pounds. It is 18x12.2x15.
I go to the fitshipper calculator.
I enter the zip to and from (I picked a random zip, so this could vary).
I put it at 19 pounds 12 ounces, but that might be light. I also put 4 inches of padding (which might not be enough, I don't know how you plan to ship it or if it is loose/in the box. The cheapest I see is $47.05, but that's with eBay's discount.
Obviously this will all vary depending on the model, packaging, etc. You really, really need a scale.
2 years ago after Easter, I bought some decorating eggs from a big box store for .10 each. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00US7FFK0/ref=olp_product_details?_encoding=UTF8&me=
Finally got around to shipping them to Amazon this year. Sent in 99 to FBA a couple weeks ago. Sold 67 of them so far.. 32 left to go. Should be gone in a few more days. Making about $2.50 a piece.
So paid about $11. Gonna be sold for about $250.
Thermal printers use heat on heat sensitive paper to create words. No ink.
If you want to do labels, the DYMO LabelWriter 4XL Thermal Label Printer is a good one. I'm sure there is a competing Zebra brand as well, but I prefer DYMO myself. You can buy cheap labels from Amazon or buy the DYMO brand labels if you want, they both work well.
For me, I use these labels: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B001PF1BSE/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
$8.39 for 200 labels and I run them through this printer:https://smile.amazon.com/HP-LaserJet-Monochrome-Printer-C5F93A/dp/B013SKIC7G/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1490453767&sr=8-1&keywords=HP+402+laser
Laser is down to $160 Cartridges are $96 but I go 6 months on a cartridge just printing labels.
I hope that helps.
> Maybe we have a different definition of nonsense.
We do, because that blog post is based on a false premise. $100+ on a single high yield toner cartridge? Brother laser printer high yield cartridges on ebay run $14. I picked up a 2 pack for $23 not 3 weeks ago. That alone makes the post nonsense.
But let's look at his next big cost; shipping labels. Oh look, they're just $16 for 500 sheets (1000 labels) on Amazon, not $70 like she claims.
So yeah, a shitty spam/blog post probably paid by Dymo to write that up. The author is, after all, a marketing associate (it's right there at the bottom of the article).
Honestly, I'm not sure what you're using your printer for exactly, but for flipping, you're going to want to get full or half sheet label sticky paper, to save serious time packing.
If you need them very fast, I just price match at office max whatever the name brand is and order the generic online anyway, and the 100 name sheets will hold me out for a week or so. The office max prices are ridiculous, like 4x the amazon price or more.
If you're ok with going a little bigger you can get 9x6x3 from Amazon for $9.48 shipped for 25 boxes. I have ordered Pratt boxes and in particular these boxes and I think they work well.
Edit: For reference the small flat rate box's outside dimensions are: 8 11/16" x 5 7/16" x 1 3/4"
The Amazon Basics photo box has served me very well. Packs up nicely too so it doesn't take up a lot of space when I'm not using it.
I got [these](www.amazon.com/dp/B00RKJ0ZFE?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf) lights from amazon for $18, some white paper from Walmart for .25 cents a sheet, and bought an utility light from Walmart for $8 to hang from the top of the box.
It’s not as light as I would like but it works for what I need it to do.
Bonus: I duct taped empty TP rolls to hold up the lights.
