I would move it to another chat app like Kik. More say this as least for me if there is no attempt to move to meeting I am going to lose interest. This should really be done if you are hitting it off on Tinder, and simply suggest talking on a chat app. Or even better is use a text app like Text Free where you get a free number that you can send text and even call people on. And in no way can they find where you live. Plus if you can ditch the number, so it acts like a "burner phone" and so any guys that keep on harassing you is pretty easy to deal with.
My b, they apparently changed the app's name back to Text Free. It was Text Free, then renamed Pinger, now it's Text Free again. It's an app that gives you a phone number, lets you text, and I believe it gives you a limited amount of calling minutes. Only catch to it of course is you need internet connection for it to work. It's a good substitute for a phone.
Use the free app called textfree
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pinger.textfree
It gives you a new number in your desired area and you can text.
This protects your privacy and gives extra discretion.
The catch is you have to watch ads when you texting.
It's the best!!
I think the easier thing to do would be to purchase an app that allows you to make calls through the internet. I used https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pinger.textfree
and I loved the service. Very reasonable prices. Not sure if this is there on the apple store in case you're using an iphone
I have also used this too with success. Plus if you want to pay for minutes. It's pretty cheap. They also have a way where you can also log into a web browser and text to parents too.

But if you are needing to call lots and lots of students then save some time and look into Remind to do a text blast. It's a great program too as it's a double-blind system (you never learn the parents/students cell number and in turn they never learn yours) but it allows you to anonymously text (blast) to a group or individual students. You can schedule Reminders too which is nice.
If you haven't already, look into an app called TextFree by Pinger. It gives you an alternate number to text with for free. You can keep the number indefinitely as long as you send/receive at least 1 text every 30 days. Certain things like Gmail won't allow TextFree numbers to verify as it considers them a "VoIP Number" but I've been able to use it on plenty of other sites. It lets you choose the number you want from a list. I've always picked numbers that have the same area code as my legit number, so I'm not sure if you could obtain a USA number from a non-USA location.
Another option would be Google Voice, but I don't know if you can just sign up or if there's a waiting period. I got my Google Voice number a long time ago and I recall some discussion later on about people having trouble obtaining one.
NTA either way, but everyone else sucks. You shouldn't feel guilty for the manager because he should know better. He has been given more than enough chances. And the upper management sounds like complete dickheads. Personally, I would warm him. If you don't want to get involved, just use Textfree to warn him anonymously, then delete the app.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pinger.textfree tell them to download that app. It gives the other person a real USA phone number and they can use it to text you. It's free with ads but unlimited texts can be sent and received
Why don't you use an app that will give you a free number - you can pick A U.S. number.
If you do not have a smart device and only have a computer you can get Blue Stacks on your computer to download and use android APPS on your computer.
TextFree Pick a random phone number for when you need to put a phone number on something but don't want to give out your real one (like a craigslist ad). Number expires one month after no use.
C25K Couch to 5K program. Keeps track of your runs, tells you when to walk or run. Free.
Keeper Password keeper
I use text free. It gives you a free phone number that you can use over WiFi. Text Free
it's this one
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pinger.textfree&hl=en
I just got an 647 number, pretty neat!
Maybe an app like this will help: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pinger.textfree&hl=en
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pinger.textfree It says text but the app shows you can use it for calls, with purchased time!
