The official Reddit app is pretty bad. It stutters on every device I have tried. It also doesn't look good or provide any customization. Have you tried the good Reddit apps, like Boost?

If you cannot make sure that your child will not find thicc thigh bitches getting railed in every way imaginable, then you can only expect that your child will find it on their own. After all, Reddit is a M rated app, for people 18 years of age.

What app? I tried installing Reddit: The Official App and upon opening the application was met with an error message "Unfortunately, Reddit has stopped".

It is quite sad that despite the fact that I have a decent tablet (Samsung Galaxy Pro Tab), I get an error message. If this is not repaired by the end of the week, many redditors will be very unhappy that they missed out on reddit gold.

I am lucky and have friends who will let me borrow their IOS phone to use it, but not everyone is as welcoming with their phone and is more territorial.

The application itself requires some labour, but I can survive with that as long as reddit can get it working for everyone.

Reddit doesn't provide media hosting for its users so this isn't a feature that should be expected from any Reddit client, including the official app.

That said, there is at least one Reddit app that attempted to upload the IMG to a ghosting door for you ~~but I can't remember which it was.~~ I remember it failing a lot though.

Yup, when I had my older phone RiF was the only Reddit app it could support, images did work for me, though.

The Android app has over 10 million users according to the Google Play store, which is more than Relay for Reddit, Reddit is Fun (apparently now called "rif is fun"), Sync for Reddit, and BaconReader. Some of the third-party apps have between 1 and 5 million users, so the official app would have more users than several of the third-party apps combined.

Under the "View Options" section, clear the "I'm over 18 years old (Show NSFW)" flag
Alternatively, you may set the "Blur NSFW Images" flag to force the offending pictures to be blurred.

I don't think Yalp is dead but Google's app search algorithm has been changed. So that Yalp can't retrieve app search results.

The alternate way to get any app through Yalp is by searching with the app id (com.example.app)

First make the search on play.google.com . After selecting the app, copy the app id from the url.

For example: Reddit's playstore url is 'https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.reddit.frontpage' And its app id is 'com.reddit.frontpage'

Use this alternate until Yalp store developers find a fix for this issue.

Yea....honestly, using the app does help some. And Reddit is in the process of really making the app even better! I highly recommend it verses a mobile browser.

Either versions of the app are free and get better and better every update (and I used to be majorly against the new Reddit design and mobile app...).

You can download the app (Reddit is Fun or Relay for Reddit or the new official one) or use the compact version of the sub.
