Good point. Marble coasters on Amazon are generally $15-30 for four. So spending $2 on four tiles and $1 for stick on felt from Dollar tree makes no sense.
Also, download the app Kids Place. It makes it easy to add parental controls.
You select what you want them to have access to.
These are terrible. They can cause dangerous situations as well as retarding the development of actually learning to walk.
Want to REALLY upgrade your life? Get the metal versions (multiple kinds available on amazon), which, unlike plastic, can bend into a more natural-looking shape.
Then, pair those with some small but powerful magnets (home depot has better options for less $$).
This will keep your collar looking great and in place, and since the stays are metal, you'll find it's less likely that you lose them.
Of course my phone doesn't have an FM tuner, this guy is nuts
Download app, plug in headphones (for antenna), and it starts picking up FM radio and playing it to external speakers.
Thanks, OP. TIL my phone does FM radio. (Moto 4G)

So, I took the time to do the math: The whole point of the Keurig is that it makes coffee fast with no mess, right?
A Keurig machine costs about $200
A full espresso machine, the ones that will grind the coffee for you (no mess), start at $600
If you have two people drinking 3 cups a day:
One pod Keurig is about $0.70 so $4.20 / day
1lb of coffee makes about 64 cups at $7.00/ lb, so about $.60/day for six cups.
That means you will be spending and extra $3.60/day for the Keurig
Or, in about 110 days, you would have paid the difference to get the real espresso machine.
What you save in about two years lets you buy one of the really fancy ones: http://www.costco.com/Jura-Impressa-Z7-One-Touch-Espresso-Machine.product.100148074.html

You can save a lot of time and effort by just buying a small bottle of Eucalyptus oil from Amazon, then just putting a few drops in your shower before you get in. The hot water and steam will fill the shower with the vapor and really open up your airways.
I don't even do that anymore, I use Pushbullet. I have the app installed on my OnePlus 3T, iPad2 and the Chrome extension on my laptop and PC at work.
this is fish tape in question. you can also get fish stix, but I find they're much more irritating than the tape.

Even cheaper than the purpose made bottle.

There are lots of other examples. Search Amazon using the search terms "furniture nonskid feet".
For your bed, this is really useful. I have these for my bed on a laminate floor:
You should be able to buy these locally at a hardware store, furniture store, home improvement store, Bed Bath and Beyond, or The Container Store (if you have one)
I used to think it was a pain also. Then I moved out of my parents house and had to buy my own peeler. Turns out, it's a hell of a lot easier when you have a sharp blade and a peeler that was made for potatoes. I recommend the oxo version with the fat handle. Also I should probably eat less potatoes, but they're just so darn tastyyyyyyy!!
Edit: I have literally used this peeler almost every day for the last 4 years: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0000DAQ5E/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_CymaGbVQMTJ31

NEW Walmart item for you!!! Go to the pharma area and look for heartburn stuff. Look for Equate ranitidine tablets. They are $4 for a bottle and they work in under 10 minutes. I had a prescription years ago, but now I buy these. One a day, no heartburn. I only take when necessary so a bottle will last months.

Also, Butter Crocks are awesome for buttering toast. 5/7 recommend.

There are even special pliers that open rather than close when you squeeze them. They are used by jewelers and people like SCA who make chain mail (yes, very random, I know). Surprisingly useful.
That seems more like a tutorial on how to fold paper, followed by a guy opening a bottle.
I can't for the life of me open a bottle with anything hard (paper, lighter, etc), I think the hardest part is getting leverage. So I've mostly given up and bought this, a tiny multi tool that looks like a key

These skewers are about $8.50 for 500 (the best price per skewer I could easily find). A review states that they are 2.75 mm in diameter, so assuming each one fills a (2.75 mm)^2 square cross-section, that works out to ~3780 mm^2 or a square of side length sqrt(3780) ≈ 6.1 cm. This could be even less with a more efficient packing, or more with some space between them.
I dunno, I wouldn't do it myself. But if you already had the box or the skewers lying around, it wouldn't cost much more money than a traditional knife block but would have versatility.
This is what I purchased through Amazon. I like it because it can hang on my car keys, and all I need to do to deploy it is give it a solid yank. The “safety” is reasonably strong, so I’ve never had it come loose in my pocket.
Sorry to tell you but your girlfriend definitely didn't come up with this lol
They literally sell stacking plates and trays for microwaves even have a huge range on Amazon..
Props on the 4k upvotes though, wow lol.
For travel/camping, centrifuge tubes also work really well and come in a variety of sizes. They’re usually around $8 for 50 on Amazon. I also use them for small amounts of medicine. A 5ml tube will usually hold 6-10 ibuprofen, benadryl, etc.

No, because it's all client-side (happens in the browser) and isn't necessarily sent over the network. It will be sent when the form is submitted, but filling a field with JS is no more or less secure than typing into the field manually.
There is a security concern with the way it's stored (e.g. storing credentials in a bookmarklet wouldn't be good) and I'd massively recommend using something like LastPass that's a bit more hardcore when it comes to security.

Instead of this, keep a prusik loop with your extension cords (it's good to hang your cords with the loop).
When you install your extension cord, put your loop on the cord with a prusik knot or a Autoblock knot and carabiner the loop to something solid. This way, if/when your cord gets pulled, it will transfer the force into the loop which will "grab" the cord tight. Back at the socket will remain slacked.
If you need to connect two cords together, you can use one of their prusik loops as strain relief.
Also, the Japanese have awesome little erasers that don’t need water or rags and can be tossed into your bag.
My favorite one is Jewel. They have a white canvas eraser and a pink suede/nubuck eraser.
A girl who worked at Journeys (shoe store in the mall) told me it was what they used in the back room but they don’t sell it in stores. I wrote it down and ordered it online for cheap and have loved it ever since.

Logged in to say that with pet insurance, odds are you're getting screwed by the provider. I applaud you for wanting to provide your pet with a long and healthy life, but you are likely better off simply putting whatever you're paying per month in a separate savings account, and withdrawing from that if your pet requires healthcare. Most pets will never need $3600 in healthcare, which is about how much you've had paid after a decade with the service at $30/mo. In a large majority of cases, pet insurance ends up not being with it, but I don't want to tell you not to get it because maybe you win the shit lottery and your pet does need a four figure procedure.
It's worth looking into, at least: http://www.consumerreports.org/pet-products/is-pet-insurance-worth-cost/
Something everyone should know: Adguard DNS https://adguard.com/en/adguard-dns/overview.html
You can set it up on any device or even your router at home and it will block ads directly on your network. Not sure if it works with youtube ads though.
I searched the image and found it on Amazon. It's pretty damn pricey for a 'dish rack', though- $200-222. I'm sure there are cheaper versions of this thing around. Or as /u/Verina- says above, google 'Scandinavian Drying Cabinets'.
EDIT: For the record, don't sell this, nor do i receive a comission or anything, I just found this online and thought it was cool. r/shutupandtakemymoney labeled it spam, then literally #@%@#$% banned me for posting this.
ZenMate has a free service but you can only choose between about 4 countries.. As far as I know they don't do anything shady though. PIA (Private Internet Access) is the paid monthly one that I see mentioned the most when this comes up, but I've never personally used it.

Upon finishing the pack, I found my eyes had turned blue, I could fold space with the power of my mind and I could see the golden path in my genetic memory. Strong stuff; don't chew too much."

I had one for a couple years that I got from craigslist for free. Offices are always getting rid of shit like that.
Alternatively, I actually think it's worth buying one if you rather have a nice framed whiteboard without spending hours of work making it look solid. You can easily spend a few hours crafting your own and it probably won't end up looking nearly as good as what you end up making. You get a nice perfect rectangle with a perfect frame and a little spot to hold markers. The effort it'd take to build that quality isn't worth saving $45 IMO.
Bought this one after my craigslist one got screwed up... for $60 I think it's worth it. It's a really good size and it's super solid and screws right into the wall with drywall screws and has a nice metal frame. It's about 4 times as much as that panel board but I think it's totally worth it. I'd rather have something that looks good framed in my office and is attached strongly to the wall.
Mine right now from amazon. It is a lot more clear than it looks there - I used photoshop smudge to hide some work stuff. Unless you're going huge and 4' x 3' isn't enough, I wouldn't bother considering making my own. Now, if it was between spending $600 on those massive ones, sure. But for $60?

Here's a good one that all Android users with data plans can use, not just Samsung users.
Go download Bambuser, and sign up for a free account. Next time you have to record an emergency event, like a police encounter, a disaster, a protest, a violent encounter, anything you feel the need to record but aren't sure if your phone will make it out intact, Bambuser live streams to the online account while recording it at the same time. So even if someone takes your phone and smashes it, you will have everything up to that moment already recorded online, provided you have a data plan. And you can adjust the bandwidth in a huge range of bitrates depending on how much data you want to use.
I love what gimp stands for, but I have tried multiple times to really dig into it, but I found it more cumbersome to use than blender- and I think that's saying a lot.
Krita is a bit more illustration focused, but I have been using it for everything that I was using Photoshop for. There are tons of tutorials on YouTube too!
Generally countries with less buying power, but with free association with the US (for US carriers). I recently looked at flights to Europe, and switching over to Micronesia gave like 15% off the incognito-mode-in-US prices. Just watch out for bank fees to switch currencies if you have to buy it in their currency - credit usually works fine though.
>Is there a website for doing a search for fares across countries?
Not that I know of. My method: Open incogneto window, go to https://www.google.com/flights/ , pick your airports, 'show flights', pick dates that are the numbers of days you want apart (eg. 12 day vacation), expand the dates window and click 'price graph'. Scroll through the whole year and find a date you could travel where there is a price drop for your vacation. Screenshot. Change VPN to the destination country, repeat, try being from various poor countries, etc.
http://i.imgur.com/lS0SljE.jpg - $699 instead of $1059, and this is me picking everything randomly as an example. IRL I'd study the price movements for a month, I take cheap vacations seriously.
This doctor claims that a DIY air purifier removes particles from the air nearly as well as a very expensive air purifier.
I want to know the same. No way that will work imo...

A garbage can ... I don't see how that will work. No airflow in there.
EDIT: And that is going to start rusting right away.
Issue with BakBlade is that it's still disposable blades, you can only use them for so long, and if you have sensitive skin it will absolutely give you razor burn or ingrown hairs. Check out The Mangroomer
You just download a remote control app and find your devices. Peel Smart Remote and Anymote are two off the top of my head.
I think Samsung or AT&T even included Peel along with other uninstallable bloatware on my S5, and though it's not quite as responsive or as satisfying as a standard remote, it does work.

Price is usually around $55 on Amazon. That adds up to a few cases of compressed air, but you'll never have to use those cans again. Also worth mentioning it's super powerful (it blows air, does not work like a vacuum.)
Just my 2 cents, it's worth it IMO.
EDIT I bought this because it doesn't trap moisture inside like a real air compressor does in the tank / hose (especially in the more humid states.) I learned that lesson the hard way while using my garage air compressor on a custom PC. Fried the board.
Nearly all pet stores have dog tag engraving machines.

I don't think a flimsy hanger is going to hold onto my 1263 page hardcover cookbook. Maybe a magazine or a page. But definitely not a book. My smallest cookbook is 192 pages and I doubt it would even hold that.
They actually sell under cabinet cookbook holders. They are a bit pricey but so are some of my cookbooks. But they keep them off the counter so you don't get ingredients on them which is nice.
It's free to download but you have to have a paid subscription. Here's the link but it looks like recent reviewers are complaining about it.
It worked in front of my eyes. Maybe not all block calls are the same, who knows? But he explained to me that the app routes the call to an 800 type of number that the block rule doesn't apply to, then reroutes it back to you with the shown number.
Let me know how it works out. I like the idea but the cost is too expensive for me to justify spending $4/month on. I don't get many block calls. Come to think of it; I don't get many regular calls either. If I do get a block call I send them straight to voicemail with no remorse. Leave me a voicemail if you can't text. If I was being harassed that's a different thing. Probably would definitely pay it though.

I've used this on countless iPhones, tablets, androids, etc. Used it to remove seran wrap that melted to a car too (a friend's prank gone wrong when a dude didn't go out for a few days) 100% recommend this to anyone tired of scrubbing gooey shit.
If you do need another solution (which it sounds like it's working okay since it has a snap to hold it in place), our golden did better in a foam soft cone called Comfy Cone (amazon link, not an affiliate link or anything weird). He ran into everything in the plastic e-collar.
Stiff enough that he couldn't get around it, but a bit more forgiving in tight quarters. The plastic cones for large dogs are just so wide. It was so bad :C. I can't Imagine in an apartment.
Hope he feels better soon! He sure is a handsome boy (but I'm biased)

New Car Smell is simply off-gassing of cleaners, lubricants and fabric preservatives, leather treatments and raw materials of the interior of your car. While it depends a bit on what model of car and what trim it has, the way you get new car smell is to literally go and buy it.
Seriously go to any AutoPepZoneMax type store or any hardware store with a good automotive section and the cleaning supplies aisle should have at least one aerosol or spray bottle of "new car smell" soap, shampoo, cleaner... if not an actual can of "New Car Smell". Barring that, do a professional detailing (leather treatment for leather, vinyl treatments for the dash, glass cleaner etc.) will get you a good, if temporary new car smell.
edit: voila
I should also point out that generally while NCS (New Car Smell) smells like a good thing, since its an offgassing of chemicals used in the manufacturer of your car, its actually probably not that good for YOU. I would recommend a nice citronella scent for you car along with some baking soda.
