You can lock in the $79 now even if your renewal comes after the price hike!
From slickdeals.net user <em>orick</em>:
>If your current Prime membership is scheduled to expire on or after April 17th, and therefore would auto-renew at the $99 price, you can effectively lock in the $79 price by taking the following steps:
>(1) Look up your Prime expiration date. (Let's say yours is June 11th.)
>(2) Purchase a Prime Gift Membership here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/prime/pipeline/prime_gifting_landing
>Set the delivery date as the date after your membership expires (in this case, June 12, 2014).
>Enter your own e-mail address as the gift recipient. It is okay if this is the exact e-mail address already associated with your Amazon Prime account.
>Place order (total will be $79).
>(3) Turn off your Prime auto-renew.
>(4) On the day after your membership expires, you will receive an e-mail from Amazon with the gift membership. Follow the instructions to apply it to your account.
>This is a pretty straightforward way to save $20.

> Limit your contact with transaction partners. Amazon.com encourages buyers and sellers to communicate with one another by e-mail during an Amazon Marketplace transaction. Contact between parties must be courteous and limited to transaction details. Facilitating inappropriate or unsolicited contact is a violation of our Community Rules.
Key part there being "Contact between parties must be courteous and limited to transaction details"
> Do not misuse ratings, feedback or product reviews. >Any attempt to manipulate ratings, feedback, or product reviews is prohibited.
Key part being all of it.
> Product reviews: Product reviews are important to the Amazon Marketplace, providing a forum for feedback about product details and reviewers' experiences with products--positive or negative. You may not write reviews for products that you have a financial interest in, including reviews for products that you or your competitors sell. Additionally, you may not provide compensation for a review other than a free copy of the product. If you offer a free product, it must be clear that you are soliciting an unbiased review. The free product must be provided in advance; no refunds are permitted after the review is written. Product review solicitations that ask for only positive reviews or that offer compensation are prohibited. You may not ask buyers to remove negative reviews.
Key part being "You may not ask buyers to remove negative reviews."
I think that includes threatening to sue buyers to remove reviews.

You can delete items from your browsing history. Just follow this link

when you're logged in and delete away! Though I think you should leave it there and see what happens.
You should contact someone from Amazon's customer service about this. If this is in fact a third party merchant that is scamming people, I'm sure Amazon will do everything they can to make your experience a good one. This is what I followed. Just take your time and you won't have any issues. It took me about 2 1/2 hours.
Edit: Before everyone asks this is the wrap I used. 12" X 60"black Carbon Fiber 3d Professional Grade Wrap Vinyl Film Sheet-hq https://www.amazon.com/dp/B009PTNE3W/ Cheaper then the 3M stuff.
Just because it has some carbon fiber in there doesn't mean it will last forever. Most of the thread and seams are just going to be standard nylon.
I bought this stainless steel fabric wallet, and after a few years a lot of it has started ripping and it also wears holes in my pocket if carried corners down.

I know it's not quite the same, but a lot of small and independent presses offer a digital copy with print purchase. Dzanc Books does, I think, and it's catching on (to a certain degree) with some larger publishers thanks to Kindle Matchbook. They're not all free, but I feel like it won't be too long before it's standard procedure. Fingers crossed!
It's not just the general public. My publisher will send me printed hardbound and paperback copies of my book if I ask, but they couldn't get me a legal version of the ebook. (They did send me a pdf of the "pre-press version). As evilcleverdog says, they don't control the digital rights and can't distribute them.
Amazon does however have a program (Kindle Matchbook) by which you can get deeply discounted (sometimes free) digital version of print books you purchased from them (going back years). Check here https://www.amazon.com/gp/digital/ep-landing-page/186-8509172-3125822?ie=UTF8&*Version*=1&*entries*=0
Amazon actually does have an offer to get free Amazon Prime for six months if you're a student with a .edu email address. After that, it's 50% off as long as you're still a student. http://www.amazon.com/gp/student/signup/info
There's also a 30 day trial for anyone: https://www.amazon.com/gp/prime/pipeline/signup
But, yeah, I doubt the app you refer to is legitimate.
PS: You can share Prime with the Amazon accounts of up to 4 family members.
The old german tales pretty much always end with a kid being killed. They didn't fuck around back then. They were brutal tales, it's only recently with Disney cutseying them up that they've not ended with children being tortured. I would recommend you pick up a Brothers Grimm collection and read through.
Its a timed lock box. You set the time and its locked until then. No override. Feel free to ask if you have any questions about it!

Non-U.S. people
You might be interested to try this. I've not tried, so it's up to you if you want to take the risk.
Edit: Works - see /u/Asmero's comment below.
Using both card and Paypal doesn't work for non-U.S. accounts, even if you use a U.S. address. Gift cards may work though as there's nothing to verify the address then (assuming it doesn't force you to input financial details anyway).
Amazon.com has <strong>GameStop Gift Cards</strong> with e-mail delivery. The only problem is that there's a minimum $25 amount.
For Amazon.com you can put in a valid U.S. address (Florida so no tax ideally) and it won't check it against your card details. You can buy digital stuff from there without issues.
You could then try to use the gift card during the check out process.
Edit:
Someone has had success in buying a gift card for $10 through GameStop themselves. I tried - wouldn't work with Paypal. Seemingly worked with my card but it's been almost half an hour with no gift card code.
Edit 2: Now my gift card has arrived. I tried to use it. It says it has no balance.
Edit 3: It eventually worked itself out and the balance appeared.

For me it was 5 books out of 163 books, since 1998.
If it helps, you can download all your Amazon orders in a single CSV spreadsheet using their Order History Reports page. But then you have to filter for only books and then count the rows.
Good solutions:
Download the Xbox SmartGlass app on your smartphone and use the keyboard on there.
Buy an off-brand chatpad as a temporary solution until Microsoft makes an official one.
Buy one of these great mini wireless rechargeable keyboards: Candy Bar style & Controller Style
It cannot. HTTPS gives you end-to-end encryption between your browser and the web server at the other end. If the user types https://www.amazon.com into their browser, SSL/TLS authenticates that the server at the other end has a valid certificate granted to amazon.com before it sends any HTTP requests. The ISP can't respond as Amazon with a 302 redirect unless they spoofed Amazon's certificate, which would cause a certificate error in the user's browser because the ISP can't generate an Amazon certificate that the user's browser will trust.
The Complete Far Side is being released in about ten days. So excited to place this on the shelf (right next to the Complete Calvin and Hobbs).

When you buy something from Amazon, you can exclude that thing from being used for future recommendations. Instructions for that are here.
You also can delete items from your browsing history (just click "Delete This Item" next to the item you want removed) once you're done searching for your toy so Amazon won't use those things for recommendations, either.
No, other brands are nice too. The Olympus OM-D gets a lot of good recommendations on /r/photography.
And I don't think anybody disputes that Leica makes the best lenses, and the best bodies (if you don't mind using a rangefinder). But they'll make you pay through the nose for it. Think "Porsche" or "Lamborghini", you hear about Ford and Toyota a lot more, but they're not "the best", they're just the "most common".
Hasselblad makes fantastic medium format cameras which will beat any Nikon or Canon camera for quality, but they're not for your average mom or dad to take photos of little Timmy on the soccer field, they're for Professionals with a capital P.
The reason you hear about Canon and Nikon are because they have market dominance right now. Kodak used to have market dominance, but does anyone still think they're the best company in photography?
Astor Bidet Fresh Water Spray Non-Electric Mechanical Bidet Toilet Seat Attachment CB-1000 is only $27. I am sorry this happened to you though, it sounds wretched. Also 'clitty litter' is hilarious!
This stuff. I did some snooping around last time this popped up on reddit, this brand is what Kenji said he uses, and you can find it in almost any grocery store in the soup aisle.

Its an ad for this hip cool thing
Publishers, I don't think they would bother.
Amazon has the Matchbook service:
2.99, 1.99, .99 or free....
Well, if you are limited to 32GB, there isn't much you can do to actually carry it all around with you at once, but is that the real problem? Do you actually go out of wifi range all that much to where a simple cloud solution would not help? I mean, it's not like you would want to play all those songs at once, so maybe store your most immediate musical needs locally and then download from the cloud other stuff as you go.
Google Music allows you to upload up to 20,000 songs (or something like that, it's been a while since I've checked the limit) onto their cloud storage.
Amazon has something similar as well.
Both have players that work seamlessly with music stored on your device and in the cloud.
Barring that, you can try to collect as much offline storage as you can through Box.net, Dropbox and the upcoming GDrive, I suppose.
You want to make one?
I wouldn't know where to begin.

I have this thing and I love it - it is really sturdy and good quality, not thin cheap plastic. My only complaint is that the lipstick tray is too small for the KVD Studded Kiss lipsticks.
I also keep all of my makeup on a rolling bar cart I got from Ikea - my vanity space is also the guest room so this way I can relocate if needed.

Its preferred by me over jello because it contains a much higher protein load.
The science is: gelatin contains glycine, consumption of glycine promotes the pancreas to release GLUCAGON which is the polar opposite of INSULIN. Insulin causes body to store fat, Glucagon tells fat cells to release fat stores.

If you like these it's really worth getting Industrial Light & Magic: The Art of Special Effects and the three Art of Star Wars books- the original movie concept art books. A lot of great stories about the ILM matte painters and they're what inspired me to get into the visual effects industry. Some are working in digital matte painting today. Mike Pangrazio, who I think was in his early 20s when he did his matte paintings of Hoth on Empire, works at Weta.
Edit: Mike Pangrazio's wiki page says he was lacking any experience before he was trained by Ralph McQuarrie, but that should say professional experience. I might be getting some details wrong but I recall in the ILM book they tell a story about how he was about to flunk a high school art class for slacking off. The teacher told him to paint something to bring up his grade and he came back after the weekend with an amazing piece and he got an A.
My SO is also very Sensitive until she starts getting warmed up... But this is what we Use & she seems to love it. l didn't pay that much for it though... idk why the prices are so high on them now.

It's a little knitting machine ❤️ picked it up for a dollar at a consignment sale this fall. Just feed the yarn in and turn the crank. Can make tubes or flat pieces.
It does drop a lot of stitches tho. I'm not sure if it's something wrong since I did buy it second hand or if it's a common thing.

Are they shipped from Amazon? The order number is on the packing slip. Go here And start with return a gift.
If there is no packing slip, but you know it's from Amazon, go here to contact them with the sender's name, email, phone number, etc, and they'll look up the order number for you.
Then you'll select how you want to return it. You can elect to return it to an Amazon locker rather than ship it.
I use this strap clamp on my projects, and it makes things so much easier if you're being a perfectionist. I get a bit obsessive about cutting the angles as close to perfect as I can, and dry-fit things together to make adjustments as needed. I use a longer-setting glue, so that i had plenty of time to get things set up first.
... that's probably directly related to why it's taken me a month to finish a rectangular light fixture, though.
I've also seen people use it to make an 8-sided table. It's pretty awesome.

Generally Amazon will give refund you the difference, I was able to do that once with a keyboard I bought. The only problem is finding the right spot on their website to request the refund, I can't remember what I used and it was pretty obscure.
Edit: Found the link, you just have to select the right order and issue, then email or chat with them asking for a partial refund. https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/contact-us
Go to Contact Us, find your order, select "Where's My Stuff?" say "Shipment is Late" then select an appropriate contact option then explain your case. They should be able to help you.
I first saw it in neuromancer. If you haven't read neuromancer yet... You really should. Also count zero and mona Lisa overdrive; these 3 books form the Sprawl trilogy and were hugely influential in the formation of the cyberpunk genre.

Char-Griller 16620 Akorn Kamado Kooker Charcoal Barbecue Grill and Smoker, Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00GJEPTJS/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_76gBub11YV2XE
It's a great grill and smoker so you get some serious versatility. Also you may want to look for a Weber Smoky Mountain:

You may be able to find the weber on craigslist as well. They last forever with minor upkeep, and no one ever says a bad word about them.
And finally we come to:
Pitbarrelcooker.com
You'll probably not find one of these on craigslist, but for under $300 you get a decent setup with great customer support and a good number of how-to videos on YouTube put up by the company.
Sure there are cheaper smokers out there, but you really will get what you pay for, and maintaining steady temps on a cheap (leaky) smoker will make you hate smoking.

Best grinder I've ever owned: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ELRSO60/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_nvq.tb0J0JFFE
Gives a really solid grind and doesn't leave pieces of metal/plastic in your weed like some other grinders I've owned before. It also comes with a mini shovel type thing for your kief which I've found to be very useful. It's also not incredibly expensive.
As far as other accessories go, it really depends on you. A pipe and weed is fine but if you want you can get some rolling papers/a bong/vaporizer/etc. I personally prefer joints to pipes but if that's what you're smoking out of you don't need a ton more.
Happy toking!
Thanks! It's this one. It's UPF 50+ and ridiculously big (7" brim), but it's gonna go a long way towards helping me feel protected on the beach!
If you've already bought any of these apps in the past, you can delete the app from your apps page on Amazon and re-purchase the app for free to get the coins.
I think I've found the discrepancy. While you're right that the Price Check app allows users to compare prices on books as well as other products, the promotion that everyone is getting so worked up about - discount of up to $5 on up to 3 items on December 10th - does not actually apply to books. So you can use the app to compare prices, but you can't get the discount on books.
You would have to go to both browsing history, and purchase history and remove what you don't want shown. I am not sure that the links will work, so as backup, go to your account page and the links at the bottom of the page under personalization.
For me, my biggest trick is something I call a "reverse outline"--basically, I don't outline until I get to the end of the book. Then I plot the main points on a big sheet of paper (<em>Save the Cat</em> was a great resource for that). Reverse outlining helps me see where the pace was slow, and where I got off topic--or where I need to beef something up.
At the same time, I chart out the physical journey and the emotional journey. I want to see the hero change on at least these two levels in some significant way, and I'm basically just making sure that change is there. It's nothing huge, and is often as simple as:
As long as I touch on all three of those in some way, I figure I'm good.
I know a lot of people who plan and chart before they write the novel, but I can never see the forest for the trees then. So I always do it after.
I believe the flower might have to be dried before you can put it in resin (I could be entirely wrong but I've never seen it done with a fresh flower?) I'd get a silicone mold (usually find these in the baking section or order online) and of course the resin. Your flower sounds pretty big so you might want to trim or take that into consideration when looking for a mold. Maybe something like this would be ideal? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00IVWEZRS/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_n9PTub1M3H3S0
You pour a little resin in and wait a few hours for it to harden so when you set your piece in it doesn't sink, then set the piece facing down or on its side as the bottom will be the top when you're finished. Pour more resin over it carefully just to cover it. Wait a few more hours for that to dry and pour a final layer.
That's how it go about it. Hopefully that helps or gives you an idea. Just make sure to have (non latex) gloves, well ventilated area and a mask when working with the resin.
For starters, and I hope this doesn't come off weird, masturbate. One of the best ways to be better with a partner is to know your own body and to learn what you like and how you like it. Second, communicate with your partner about what you want and need before, during, and after sex, and ask her what she needs from you, as well.
I would also suggest checking out this book - Understanding Human Sexuality (https://www.amazon.com/dp/0073382620/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_W7XSub0BNY67H). I studied it for Psychology of Human Sexuality, and it provides excellent and subjective info on everything from the biological mechanics of sex and reprpduction to STDs to relationships and dating. There is some info in there about counseling and therapy, as it is a psychology textbook, but you may even find value in that.
And remember, not every time you have intercourse will be amazing. Sometimes there's simply no spark, and sometimes it's over too quickly. It happens to everyone, and this is another area where communication is key.
Best of luck!
Singer Knitting Machine https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000GPTR62/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_5BbRub1T5TNSF
Picked mine up for a dollar at a sale :) It does drop stitches quite often. So it's perfect for little littles that can't do loom knitting. ( or actual knit / crochet)
I think it's possible, but personally I find that foundation goes on much better for me with a damp beauty blender (though mine's a bb knock-off: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00D0ANSAG/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_bDcPub1E19NXJ) I bought liquid foundation that highly recommends a special branded brush which was just as expensive as the foundation- but now I wish I hadn't because application with the sponge looks SO much better.
If you want something a little more dense, but accurate, I really enjoyed this in law school: Understanding Criminal Procedure: Volume One, Investigation https://www.amazon.com/dp/0769862985/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_JpINub1B1S272 . Good luck!
NRR of 22 is very low, IMHO.
For slightly more, here are NRR 30's: Howard Leight R-01902 Impact Pro Electronic Shooting Earmuffs https://www.amazon.com/dp/B007BGSI5U/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_tVLJub19BQAXD
My go to is the Peltor Ultimate 10 - a $16 NRR 30 non-electronic muff. On the electronic side, I've been using Pro Ears with an NRR of 30 but I think I'm going to pick up the HL's above.
Maybe it is just my experience, but with 22's I have had to wear foams underneath.
Foams are cheap and easy to find at >NRR 30, so that is what I set as my baseline for muffs. I won't sacrifice my long term hearing (or what's left of it, what?) for convenience. I love Peltor, I just wish they would step up to 30 on the electronic side.
No need to spend that much on earplugs. I bought these for about $10 and they work very well - comfortable and protect your ears.

The rubber tips that came with them didnt fit well, I bought comply replacement tips tha t fell apart in 2 weeks. I now have blue cell foam tips which fit perfect and haven't fallen apart with sweat. But other than the fit issue no complaints sound is great, charge lasts as expected and connects quickly to my s4. Only thing to note is no battery life indicator on android phones
Pick up a copy of the Peterson Field Guide for Eastern US (https://www.amazon.com/dp/039592622X/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_zlTIub0TPCHW2).
If you know someone with the knowledge, spend some time with them learning, but the Field Guide can help you identify a number of edible plants in PA.
Edit: Spelling
I bought a retracting cable combination lock, which is actually a baby stroller lock. Small and pocketable. I bought this one because it had a long cable and was all black: Buggyguard Anti-Theft Retractable Stroller Lock, Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B007N0TS3K/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_b0IFub00DRMWP
I highly recommend the Dr. Brown's formula mixing pitcher. I have it and it works great. I add water to whatever line (usually 32 oz - the max), and then add the formula and put the lid on and mix with the plunger. It doesn't clump and it reduces or eliminates bubbles. It's also nice to have formula mixed up for a day and not have to mess with it for each feeding. Best $14 I've spent. :)
Edit: I use room temperature water FWIW.
Just because you have a decent monitor doesn't mean it is showing anything in the correct colors, saturation, or anything else. If you want it right, you need to calibrate your monitor. People constantly buy these expensive monitors and leave the settings at default, or worse fiddle without knowing what they are doing.
You can use one of these or hire someone.
FUCK. I forgot to log out of Amazon before clicking on that...
Edit: TIL there's an Amazon history management thing. All is well in the world.
Edit2: To remove things from your amazon history, go to "My Account", and then in the "Personalization" section at the bottom, click on "View and Edit Your Browsing History". This link might work: https://www.amazon.com/gp/history?ie=UTF8&ref_=ya_browsing_history
being single is fucking amazing. I had a great time being single before I met my husband. I got to just do the selfish annoying things I wanted to do without having to worry about what someone else had to say or think about it. being single is better because you don't have to shave your legs if you don't feel like it. this just may make me extremely lazy. because you can roll around in bed and not get annoyed when someone steals all the covers. because you can please yourself a lot easier than someone else. because you can sit on the couch in sweat pants and eat whatever you want and don't have to share (again I sound lazy and then fat). also when you're ready to date again or you feel like it, you get your pick of who you want to be with. if you do wanna date again I recommend online dating and going with someone to speed dating. if you don't like someone just hit the NEXT button.
can I request a gift card from my baby wish list if I win? If not I'd love these.
No, the free student account does not allow access to the lending library.
From amazon: "Eligible Prime members -- paid Amazon Prime, <strong>paid</strong> Amazon student, one-month free trial, and customers receiving a free month of Prime benefits with a Kindle Fire..."
Once your free student account expires they will offer you a paid prime membership for half off. With that you could use the lending library.
