You're not the first to notice this. There's a book on the subject, Mutants and Mystics, that will leave you with more questions than answers, and possibly fracture your reality. I wholeheartedly recommend it.
There's a whole book about "borrowed" music called Sounds Like Teen Spirit: Stolen Melodies, Ripped-Off Riffs, and the Secret History of Rock and Roll
>She said the colours were not bright like Canadian money but were sort of a set of dark tints.
Well, this sounds about right? Couple of articles: here from 2013 and here from 2007.
Quotes:
>For as long as all of us can remember, the US dollar has been synonymous with the color green. But as of 2004 the US government has been redesigning our paper money and adding splashes color. The new $5 bill was just introduced and might be considered the most colorful piece of US currency ever produced.
and
>[The $100 bill is getting redesigned.] The redesigns began in 2003 when the government added splashes of color to the $20 bill. That makeover was followed by redesigns for the $50, $10 and $5 bills. The $1 bill isn't getting a makeover.
Seemingly, the mass production of these notes has been repeatedly delayed due to printing problems. Of course, in her universe perhaps there were no printing problems, and the currency was all coloured. In this one, it hasn't taken off properly yet.

It has been said time and again that electronic devices like your phone are literally spying on people and pushing ads based on what they hear , even though the companies all deny it.
So you're not just getting the normal number of "coincidences" that most people get with broadcast TV and radio, you're also getting the intentionally targeted stuff.
So I went to weather.com after reading your post. And the first thing I saw was about a "Multi-day severe onslaught... Dangerous Five-Day Event!"
You're right, kind of catastrophic. So I guess we're not in the "sane and rational weather.com headlines" universe after all, LOL.
Could it be Vertigo ?
My mom has told me what it feels like. Erything starts spinning and it feels like she can't stand up and when it gets really bad her vision kinda of starts becoming a blob of black.
Go to the doctor though
I have never heard of this game but interestingly, Ubisoft did make an IOS game about Robin Hood that seems to parallel the game you described: http://appadvice.com/appnn/2014/08/take-vengeance-on-the-evil-sheriff-in-ubisofts-little-raiders-robins-revenge
Have you checked out the Mandela Effect sub? It is all about the theory of accidental shifts to parallel universes. Perhaps you and your friend shifted here from a universe where Ubisoft decided to cancel development of their smartphone Robin Hood game, and create a full blown Skyrim style game.
Edit to add: The game you described sounds amazing! Would love to play something like this.

Weirdly enough, I did find this on Amazon UK
Also, I found this on Edgar Wright's blog/webpage from 2003

There's a site for searching for books. And I think a subreddit for it too. They're pretty great at piecing together mixed memories which I think is the case here. It sounds like there mightve been but since time has passed, things are a little skewed. And if it's really popular in his town, why can't he find it?
Here is a list of a few resources:

You are talking about memory and perception. These things are not answered by neuroscience. The science that revolves around perception and memory is called 'cognitive psychology'. You ascribe ignorance to me while you yourself clearly have not even a clue where to actually look.
Not that weird (but nice pics: thanks for including them).
Here's a website that shows cloud types and optical effects, and also explains them
It reminds me a bit of OOBE stories from Robert Munroe and so on. See this quote from his book Journeys out of the Body, where he 'projects' and finds himself in a persistent alternative world with some regularity, looking through the eyes of a particular person/character in that world. Excerpt:
>Locale III, in summary, proved to be a physical-matter world almost identical to our own. The natural environment is the same. There are trees, houses, cities, people, artifacts, and all the appurtenances of a reasonably civilized society. There are homes, families, businesses, and people work for a living. There are roads on which vehicles travel. There are railroads and trains. Now for the "almost." At first, the thought was that Locale III was no more than some part of our world unknown to me and those others concerned. It had all the appearances of being so. However, more careful study showed that it can be neither the present nor the past of our physical-matter world.
Your friend saw you, the sofa was removed after your passage, their only mistake: they did not pay attention to the waste in the trash! The question:
Who are you working for today?

Ah good. More later. For now, <em>The Library of Babel</em> - all mysteries within all combinations, somewhere. Of course, this is about descriptions. It is not at all clear that the universe is actually spatially and temporally extended, in the way it is sensorily experienced.

Every low-frequency Amplifier picks up the strongest audio signal from local broadcasting stations. When you connect the headphones their cord works as an antenna additionally amplifying the signal. This is caused by poor shielding of headphone's cable.
Sounds like you temporarily turned your laptop speakers or headphone speakers into a radio and picked up a local AM station.
This isn't bullshit science, it actually happens.
It did happen, I had made several controlled buys from the informant. Yes he was in the car when I was arrested. He was someone who had been in trouble before, not a cop , but an informant. My co defendant was in court with me when we were sentenced, we got sentenced at the same time. That was after he escaped and was recaptured.
Here is an article about when my co defendant was recaptured. http://news.google.com/newspapers?nid=1345&dat=19911128&id=FFpYAAAAIBAJ&sjid=EPoDAAAAIBAJ&pg=3897,4012208
Yes, it happened, I did six years in prison over it. It was not some crazy "trip" LOL!!!
J W Dunne's An Experiment With Time, an excellent book on this topic. Dunne's view of this phenomenon, in summary, is that we could look at our lives from a higher dimension (3 + time = 4, timeless view of life = 5, "god viewpoint" = 6) however to do so for any more than glimpses is cognitively difficult, like reading a book backwards one letter at a time.
Well if you're in the northern hemisphere, I doubt Venus was above the horizon between 12 and 2am, but it could have been another planet or star. Brightness isn't the best way to tell a star from a planet. Stars twinkle, while the light from planets remains fairly constant. This is because starlight is so narrow that the Earth's atmosphere often bends the light enough to make it momentarily miss your eye completely.
I suggest you download stellarium, enter your location, and set the date back to December 5th at 12am. Try and see if what you saw in your dream is consistent with what was actually in the sky that night.
So it looks like the artist is Sheet Music Boss, not the title. The title is Rush B. Check here. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FB5VBVW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_t1_AJZY07T1VJMVYHYBJ3M4
They have multiple songs with the “Rush” title that are all similar style piano tracks. That’s probably why the results are coming up different (Rush E/Rush B).
With regards to the coebaw meat song, it’s probably what I initially said. A producer who had their songs available digitally, then had them removed, while they likely never received enough attention to be archived elsewhere. The song “Long Road” may have had some similar sounds which gave this result. Or it could have been random. These identifying services make mistakes.
Like someone ele said, some clocks self-adjust the time - usually they are called atomic clocks. And they actually do make analog atomic clocks, which surprised me. And they do re-sync at 2 am. If your clock has a “radar”symbol like the symbol just above the word atomic, that might answer this - clock might look like this - https://www.amazon.com/Sharp-Atomic-Analog-Wall-Clock/dp/B081757TF8
I have the precognition dreams on a semi- regular basis. Check out my other comments for proof. For the past few months I have been doing some research into it. Try reading - An experiment in time - by J.W Dune
What I've found is that people generally have such dreams on a regular basis, but 99.9% of them can't remember them or are too busy with modern life to pay attention to any possible significance.
Please keep a dream journal and follow the instructions in that book. You will be surprised by the number of vivid dreams you write down.

"Perhaps you should read exactly what it does and that's also why (most) distributions of Linux come with that as default rather than Google...

Facebook is big enough that you should be able to test this: you should be able to search all your prior conversations and prior conversations you would have seen for a word that you think is suddenly new, and combined with google ngram you should be able to determine frequency of word use
Ah, makes sense now. I assumed you were in the middle of a conversation with him when you made the thread. I honestly don't know then. Nobody can find a single thing, but he claims it's a real series and that Phil Tippett's trailer is not original, but an adaptation and all that.
Was this infodump of his written, or was he speaking to you verbally? If it was verbally, chances are, you're the one remembering something wrong. You are naming a lot of specific names though.
I don't even know, to be honest. Some of this story points towards your friend fucking with you, and the rest points toward this definitely being a real series that nobody can find anything about. It's like that one song from the 80s that's on YouTube and everything, but nobody has any clue who made it. Or that time when the Billboard charts showed a song popping up in a few different charts, but nobody could find anything on it. It led people to believe that the song was just fake.
EDIT: I found this. It has a book inside listed "Mad God" by a woman named Patricia C. Wrede. And this is a collection made in 1995. It could possibly go back into the 70s and 80s. I'm gonna look into this. Hold on.
EDIT 2: I just found that "Mad God" by Patricia C. Wrede is supposedly one book with many short stories. Maybe this is what your friend is remembering? My only issue is, the website I am looking at has absolutely no information on the book. It just says "Mad God [Short Stories]" as the title. It links to places like Amazon, Google Books, Abebooks, etc. but none of the places it lists have any info on it whatsoever. This is very interesting but very confusing. Also, Patricia was born in 1953. She could've definitely been an author in the 70s and 80s, and judging by how much she has written, I'm gonna guess that she has been writing since then.
And definitely check it out! Live Oak Canyon Trail And the cantina http://mobile.dudasite.com/site/rosecanyoncantina?dm_redirected=true#2920

https://lifehacker.com/5853056/how-to-spoof-caller-id someone is messing with you. Probably a friend of your husband or ex-lover etc. Next time this happens tell them to send you an whats app message. That can't be spoofed afaik.
I suggest that maybe the title isn't exactly what you remember, perhaps it was a subtitle you remember.
http://www.bookfinder.com/ may help search on keywords of the book title.
As a prior poster said, please describe more of the plot, plenty of people can help run searches based on that alone.
Was it a female or male author? Was it hard copy or paperback? Perhaps it was part of a sci fi compilation rather than a complete book. Was there a bio you can recall? Was this in the U.S. in English? Some libraries (even school ones) retain a history of who checked stuff out, depending on their system and when it was done. Growing up in the 80's, they didn't have electronic systems then, but they do now.

It looks like at least some of her songs are either covers or include samples of older songs. I wonder if she was inspired by any other pre-existing music for the song in question.

the picture clearly shows white and gold. I could take a picture of a yellow thing and put a red filter on it. People saying they see yellow would be lying since the picture is red. I used a pixel based colour grabber and this is the darkest gold. http://www.colourlovers.com/color/7C6C4A/mississippi_swamp So either lying or they have fucked up contrast on their devices.
I just used the colorpix hex code grabber and it comes up gold and white although in some places the white goes to a bluish grey. corroborated it with the site 'colourlovers' this is the darkest gold part http://www.colourlovers.com/color/7C6C4A/mississippi_swamp So anyone saying it's black and blue are just outright lying. Those are the colours in the picture. If that's not the colour of the real life dress then a filter was used. The gold colour is nowhere near black and a computer program agrees.

Slightly related story:
A few years ago, I got this app called Ghost Radar. Now of course an app can't detect ghosts or anything, but the idea is that they can manipulate technology and use this app to show themselves. It detects some kind of noise to base its readings on, IIRC, and has a radar display and also will generate random words. So I handed the phone to my friend, and within a few seconds, a red dot (meaning strongest signal) flew to the center of the radar and the word "surprise" popped up. Scared the shit out of us. Another time, I was by myself at my grandpa's when it said "buried" ... "myself" and there were a few blue dots behind me. It freaked me out so I closed the app and did something else.
This is the exact watch grinder i got, however i bought it on ebay.
Both of the bottles I have bought say they are 100 mg per pill. I took two.
But it probably doesn't affect some people that way. I am probably usually pretty low on B vitamins (which was why I was taking it in the first place), so that may have something to do with it.
Also, I can't remember if I took it last night, but my dreams were nuts. So I am also prone to that.
I did find that I took at least one of my recent dreams (from the B6 nights) as a warning to be more cautious, and that feels right.
I have noticed dreams that come true or fit into my daily life feel different than others. They feel more solidly connected in my gut.
That makes no sense. I guess they feel more real on a visceral level.
Eh. ?
Ha ha. Why don't you get some rest and you can reply later?
Here is a link to an online dictionary and the many definitions of matrix;

I think the first is most apt;

I'm not sure if what you saw - it would be interesting to know ** I've been doodling some strange symbols for years & don't know what they mean. It started after a car accident (along with a lot of other things that seem out of place) - I would look down at the paper I was supposed to be writing for class and there were columns of these things for no reason. ** I know everyone thought I was losing my mind. I was pretty sure I was too for a long time. ** my scanner doesn't work, or I would scan the pages of them that I have done over the past few months. For now, just to give you an idea what they look like, I did my best to recreate them (they are not as uniform an small as they normally are - drawing with a mouse is like drawing with a bar of soap). ** Take a look if you like while they are up. >> https://www.tumblr.com/blog/strangesymbols
It’s called synchronicity. Do a deep dive on it, some interesting points. Here is a book i stumbled across at the library that started me on this topic. https://www.amazon.com/Synchronicity-Through-Eyes-Science-Trickster/dp/1569245991
Celo is in Yancey County, on the South Toe River, Minneapolis is in Avery County, on the North Toe River. I'm smack dab in the middle, I'm Mitchell County, where it's just the Toe River lol. Avery and Mitchell were once all Yancey County, but Yancey sided with the Confederacy, and Mitchell sided with the Union, so in 1861, the area north of the Toe River split off into Mitchell County. In 1901, it split again, with the northernmost territory turning into Avery County, the last of North Carolina's 100 counties. They split because the County seat was Bakersville, and it was nearly impassable from the north to Bakersville. Still is actually, despite having a 40 or so mile border, there is still only 1 road connecting Avery and Mitchell counties.

I agree it's hard to reconcile that if the tin is taken out then it would have been looked in. And even it was indeed empty, and only full in a dream/brainfart, the memory of actual first emptiness wouldn't be lost altogether...

That exact type of "portal" has been seen in other very wooded areas.

I saw this kind of net
It's interesting what you say about number recurrence. I used to work with someone who would CONSTANTLY witness 666 - if we were in the car driving to a meeting, on his bank statement, in and around places, phone numbers, all sorts of places. He was fairly Christian so was probably more observant for this number. I kept on pointing out that the number also has extremely positive connotations, but he was definitely more prone to this number than I've ever seen before.
Note that this is a rather expensive set, it costs 500-1500 dollars. And the complete set costs over $ 2,500 (amazon.com/Wusthof-Classic-Piece-Knife-Block/dp/B09J9WT9TS0. One knife can cost $ 50, expensive for a joke.
And even in such an old form it is impossible to buy them now, they are not on sale.
Very cool! It was 14 years without oddities, and then 1 additional knife appeared, and one more!
This is really a case of materialization, the so-called aport.

That's what I generally think, too. Human memory is quite fallible: https://www.theguardian.com/film/2009/may/11/star-wars-movie-misquotes-poll Of course, to be fair, if I was suddenly transported to some universe where people all have royal purple big toenails until they change color at the age of five, well then they'd all think I was some kind of nutter if I was saying different. :D But, humans even misremember when they are witnesses, and I highly doubt we're seeing a perp with a blue hat, then randomly being transported to a universe where the alleged criminal wore a red hat: https://agora.stanford.edu/sjls/Issue%20One/fisher&tversky.htm
I fully recognize some folks believe in the Mandela Effect, and would think some of my beliefs are wonky. That's all right, peeps are different, and I'm good with that. But the bears...oh, those Berenstain Bears! I go right into full on annoyed mode when I see posts about them now, lolz! :D
No worries. In all things off-topic, you might have some nice fun with this. That's the harmonic version but there's one dedicated solely to bass-tones. Seems to ripple my dome at times.
I've had experiences where I forget to some extent what I'm holding in my hand and inadvertently place it somewhere that something happens. I dunked a fork in a water cup purely by accident once.
I'm also reminded of the prank where somebody says that the longer it takes to get a coin off your forehead the stupider you are or some sort, then places a coin on the victims forehead, asks the victim if he can feel it, which I think is pretty much a required step, then removes the coin and the victim hits his head quite a few times until he's satified of something, whether it no longer matters to him or realizes the coin isn't really there.
Um, what? Damn you. Muddled spellings even on the tumblr - called Delavigne in the URL, called Delevigne in the posting, and on Facebook. Eh.
You should do a Google on the SLIder phenomenon. Here's a link to get you started:
I used to knock out streetlights on my way home from work all the time. Usually it was one here and one there but on a particularly freaky night I watched 3 or 4 in a row go off as I drove by.
i just don't see much use for flowery language in short, (supposed) non-fiction posts like these. you put too much effort on the little details like "jumped to our feet in unison", and your word choices "the effects of the dream lingered, and i mumbled incoherently" really detract from the story itself, which makes it seem less realistic and more like someone telling a tale instead of recounting an experience. not that "linger" or "incoherent" are big words or anything, just that nobody talks like in normal conversations
this, on the other hand, is one of the best posts i've read on this subreddit. no purple prose, and i wouldn't even be mad if it were fiction (i also think it's amazing because the top comment makes it feel surreal but still something you can totally believe happened)
tbh i don't really care that much if your post is made up, just letting you know why certain people might think so. you took your time to reply to the comments, so i do the same :D

I don't know if I will ever experience it again, and it has been a long time since I have.
I used to work a job that would bore me half to death. I would sit watching a door for hours and hours without any type of outlet. Those were the times I would notice it.
Woosh! It would feel like waking up, except I was still sitting exactly as I was a second ago. It felt like I had forgotten something, like when you have a lapse of judgement while driving (like forgetting to check your mirrors before a lane change) and have a brief moment of panic at your loss of concentration. However these were more confusing.
I think it might be similar to a certain way that my brain shuts down with certain status quo. I have a reading app on my phone which quickly switches from word to word similar to this http://www.spritzinc.com/
When I look at that for a moderate length of time, the world around me disappears from vision, and only the changing words remain. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neural_adaptation#Visual
It is a form of neural adaptation. When I look away from the screen, the world suddenly jumps out at me! It was always there, but I was not seeing it.
When I experience this mental "flicker" It is like looking away from my phone screen and having the world jump out at me, except it is more confusing. It always feels like I forgot something. I guess it could perhaps be a more thorough neural adaptation across more forms of sensory input due to the lack of stimulation that job caused.
But I have also experienced it when I would read books, or play games at work. So I don't really know.
There is no other way. What you have to do is build a device or material that bends electromagnetic radiation around itself (by giving it a refractive index lower than 1, sometimes even negative), effectively shielding whatever's inside it. But there's a catch. Such materials (which already exist) only maintain this property in microscopic scale (not large devices) and they only work for a certain very well defined range of wavelengths.
Here, read this slideshow. It explains how they work and their limitations INCLUDING what I mentioned: the shielded object cannot see out.
I am a scientist, you are not. I am aware of the limitations imposed by physics. Limitations we cannot overcome.
There is a full book about this kind of phenomena called Jott. It’s an interesting read, well written. Not the total lack of logic/skepticism you might expect from such a book. JOTT: when things disappear... and come back or relocate - and why it really happens

Yeah, you only catch glimpses of your dreams unless you practice remembering them. Usually, it involves writing them down. This book gives other tips, but writing them down is the best way to remember them and to make you remember more of them. If you record the emotions in the dream as well, those usually tell you how your subconscious is feeling. www.amazon.co.uk/Lucid-Dreaming-Plain-Simple-Techniques/dp/1573246417
Really interesting, what struck me about your experience in 2013 is how similar the sensations you had are to those frequently associated with precognition and retrocognition events - where people experience events from the past or the future that can't otherwise be explained. The sensation of something being 'wrong', the odd halo you mention all fits... did you experience an eerie sensation of quietness as well? If you can get hold of a copy, this book is worth a read just to compare the sensations experienced by the people in the case studies with yours: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Adventures-Time-Encounters-Studies-Research/dp/0485820013/
I'm not sure, but I just checked and couldn't find an option to download directly on Google Books. I know there is a Kindle version on Amazon, and one can also buy the audio books voiced by the author if one prefers that to the physical book.
I bought the trilogy in book book after I read a couple of chapters online, and it's probably my best buy ever, so I can recommend it! :)
Well, not ENTIRELY.
You can buy "The Portrait of Dorian Gray" on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Portrait-Dorian-Gray-Oscar-Wilde/dp/1468012541/ref=sr_1_3?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1468916087&sr=1-3&keywords=portrait+of+dorian+gray https://www.amazon.com/retrato-Dorian-Grey-portrait-Spanish/dp/8481097802
It’s not this brand of white noise generator is it? Because I had the same thoughts when I went to replace mine (a friend gave me this exact one). Looks outdated as hell, but is surprisingly one of the top rated ones on Amazon.
Regardless, I experienced what you described today, even. Yesterday a friend suggested a very specific dumpling restaurant in Seattle. I didn’t look it up or anything relative on my phone, and I don’t even live in Seattle; I live 1 hour outside. Today I got a targeted ad for that restaurant on instagram... ugh. Edit: can’t type on mobile
Excellent Comment.
The brilliant researcher John J. Falone has the same opinion as you and says the 4th dimension is increasing in size and merging onto the 3rd and this is becoming more transparent. He calls it a "Dimensional Overlay" in his incredible book "The Genius Frequency".

If you have a hard time showing people these events, then get a few cameras capture different PoVs of you, your room, the floor, any furniture you find especially affected by the vibrations. Set up a mic or two around the room, as well. You can grab tons of cheap server storage space or a large external drive to put all the recordings on.
You can set up an accelerometer data logger for very cheap, too. This is the best way to potentially catch your event. If trying to share this event prevents it, then this is probably as good a solution as you can get for peace and quiet.
Here's a good low cost option for an accelerometer with Bluetooth and USB access. Just fix it to a desk or a chair.
Yes, dreams are given by another invisible species so people can share the same dream.
You can read more about it in my book "Dark Matter Orbs Are The Origin of Dreams", search it on amazon
Or my website Dark Matter Species

Searching for alternate explanations is very important. In my book The Oneironauts I documented precognition in the way that you describe, I evaluated other explanations, and concluded that precognition was the most likely explanation.
Yes - I think there is a certain type of personality that likes to be aggressively pushy about stuff and people like that can't exist without foisting their views on everyone, no matter what the subject might be.
I'll mention the book I'm reading but this isn't a recommendation - it's definitely the most 'out there' stuff I've read and one of the authors has this weird rambling style of writing, but I'm really curious about this stuff so am planning to keep going (I'm only a few chapters in). It's called The Super Natural: A new vision of the unexplained.
Fairies: Real Encounters With Little People https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0440226120/ At minimum, this book describes the pattern of paranormal encounters before the 20th century. This pattern is important in the next book...
Passport to Magonia: From Folklore to Flying Saucers https://www.amazon.com/Passport-Magonia-Folklore-Flying-Saucers/dp/0987422480 The author, Jacques Vallee, was the first to claim that UFO's were not the product of extraterrestrials, and then demonstrates the similarities between faerie stories and UFO encounter stories.
Sounds like what is called a 'time slip'. There are quite a few stories of this happening.
Jenny Randles wrote a book about them, it's called 'Time Storms'.
Also, there is an area of Liverpool in the UK where this happens frequently.
look. you are on glitch for a reason. you are open/want to believe in glitches. thats fine.
but you must first rule out obvious non-glitch explanations. the 3 instances you raise are very curious. and if you rule out other causes, then glitch would be what is left.
so for your own desire to prove glitches and for your peace of mind, i would consider the realm of the physical first.
you dont need a key to break into peoples apartments. check this out:

maybe there is someone else screwing with you. someone you least expect. but maybe its a glitch.
get a hidden cam and dont tell anyone about it and monitor the sitch.
if nothing else you can watch your cats when your are bored at work.
Oh that book is nothing. If you really want to know the secrets of life, read this book:
https://www.amazon.com/Urantia-Book-Revealing-Mysteries-Ourselves/dp/0911560513
Consider it a tell all revelation to mankind including philosophies that would put Socrates or Aristotle to shame plus much more.

I found this on amazon, it looks exactly like ours. Except there's no touchscreen on the front. They were allowed to be mounted on the ceilings, some kind of government regulations.
Nice list, I will try to check out some of these books. Here are other books I'd like to read:
Life after Life by Dr. Raymond Moody - it's about NDE like you mentioned in your post: https://www.amazon.com/dp/006242890X
and here is a book about reincarnation and many past lives of clients that a psychiatrist interviewed: https://www.amazon.com/Many-Lives-Masters-Prominent-Psychiatrist/dp/0671657860
Do you believe in reincarnation? It's something I've become interested and have started reading more about it.
That's a wonderful after death communication OP. I can highly recommend the book or audio of the book Hello From Heaven, the authors are ADC researchers and interviewed over 2000 people for it, it has hundreds of ADC's in it. www.amazon.com/Hello-Heaven-Research-After-Death-Communication-Confirms/dp/0553576348/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1463779284&amp;sr=8-1&amp;keywords=hello+from+heaven
Haha no worries, I'm offended not. I thought about providing some background information before, but had decided against it for the sake of brevity. But I will do so now. I am not religious, nor was I raised to be. I was raised to believe in God, but never in a really defined way. In our household, God was more of an abstract force or essence than it was an anthropomorphic being as generally portrayed in religion.
To answer your other questions, no I wouldn't be upset if there is no God. It wasn't really God that I was longing for in that moment, but rather truth and clarity.
It is very easy for me to entertain and hold contradicting ideas in my head at once. Sometimes it's hard to say what I actually believe haha. When I was younger, often times I would instinctively end up debating the opposite side of whatever someone else is arguing. Atheism against theism, theism against atheism, etc. I've never really associated ideas with my identity. They've always been a separate thing that could be changed, refined, or tossed away with new evidence and new thought.
It's been some time since I read the book and I do not recall the name of the author. It mainly summarized experiments that support the idea that consciousness is not limited to the domain of our body. They dealt with things such as telepathy and precognition. I will look for it and edit in a link. Edit: This is the one
http://www.jacketflap.com/honor-books-publisher-3109 <- check this out, nothing listed about "Devotional Book For Moms" its only "for teens" weird...

edit: there is one listed on amazon with the correct year but a different cover ->http://www.amazon.com/Gods-Little-Devotional-Book-Books/dp/1562920979?ie=UTF8&keywords=gods%20little%20devotion%20book%20for%20moms&qid=1464348228&ref_=sr_1_1&sr=8-1
Okay, your problem is that they stopped carrying them. So, find somewhere that does. It's not a problem with the universe, it's not like peaches and pears don't exist anymore. Here.
There's a whole book on this phenomenon: SLIders
http://www.amazon.com/Origin-Consciousness-Breakdown-Bicameral-Mind/dp/0618057072
That book theorizes that we used to actually not be able to hear ourselves cognate internally, and that we used to always hear ourselves externally. Check it out, maybe that's what's happening to you.
All in all I (believe I) drank a bottle of whiskey, a bottle of Nyquil, 4.5 grams of buproprion, and the remaining half-bottle of Thermo-Tabs. I don't know that the termo-tabs would be lethal, but in that state I figured if I added a bunch of salt and potassium to my system it should help speed things up.
