I once heard my sister singing a song that went "Garden train, garden train, crystals tomatoes, X Maria, virgin eh garden train" and I sung it into midomi and it turned out to be an old hymn.
Eu tava na mesma com isso, OP. Ia morrer sem saber, hehe.
Isso aconteceu também comigo com essa música, e acabei descobrindo o nome dela aqui.
Valeu!
Edit: Link da música foi corrigido. ^^(Sorry)
Have you tried playing the intro and using midomi to see if it can recognize the song. It'll be comparing it to a huge database.
on the sidebar to the right, under "Subreddit Info" you'll see two boxes, the second should read "Show my flair on this subreddit. It looks like:" make sure to tick that box and press edit to pick a flair, there a millions of flair so you might have a hard time picking, I know I did. But Reply 1988 is still the drama that had the most impact on me, first drama that made me cry just because I was sad it was ending. I love it so much.
They have a feature where you can sing or hum the tune. No idea how well the identification for that works though.
EDIT: Just tried it the online version midomi, humming a few songs. First two songs I hummed it recognized perfectly. Tried a few more and it was hit and miss. It couldn't recognize some of my hums, which to be fair weren't exactly perfect either. Haven't tried singing. Still it's a cool service, worth trying if you have a song stuck in your head!
(edited out silly bit about other song I posted before reading your post properly, sorry bout that)
2nd edit: I know you already know the band and song, but usually searching for lyrics gives a link or two on the umpteenth google page
3rd (and hopefully last) edit:I did find this album by Grain of Sand, which has a song called 'Oh lord" maybe that's the one you're looking for?I really, really hope so, it sucks wanting a song that you can't findhttps://www.midomi.com/index.php?action=main.artist&name=GrainofSand&from=text_search
Shit dude, I've been googling parts of the lyrics you posted for ten minutes and all I can find is the old questions you've asked about it, including one that's from 2011...you're like an Internet archaeologist.
I made absolutely no progress, except for a song by the Spider Murphy Gang which probably isn't yours because it only shares like three or four words with the lyrics you posted.
I don't know if you've ever tried Midomi, but essentially you sing or hum it a song and it matches what you've given it to a song. Depending on how obscure this song is, it might not be on there, but it's worth a shot, if you remember the tune.
I tried googling the lyrics you have and I found John Prine's most recent country album. He does some duets with women. Might not be what you're looking for, since I don't know if he does any bluegrass/Irish-sounding tunes on it.
If you remember any other lyrics, or just want to make do with what you remember, you can search here. Also, if you remember the melody, you could possibly hum it here.
Dunno if that helps, but good luck!
You could try r/NameThatSong if no one answers here. I tried humming it into Midomi for you, but to no avail. You might have better luck than I did lol.
Try Pachelbel's canon.
If that's not it, use this website: https://www.midomi.com/
(It helped me figure out the tune on my music box; it's pretty good.)
(Tune was "Tenderly", but not the Muppets version. : ( )
If there is a way you can record the part of the broadcast somehow it would help. There is a website you can hum a tune into, and they try to find a song that matches it. If you feel like digging through the game threads of both games you can ctrl+f and search the word song. Often times people ask what songs are in the threads, and people reply. The only other thing I can think of is if you can somehow watch the broadcast back. You can get a free 7 day trial of NFL Replay which allows you to watch the whole broadcast. So you may be able to flip through that. Without hearing the song it's really hard to identify it. Good luck.
I have no song name for you.
I have just this technique that has helped me a lot of times IDing a song. It works most of the time, but the more obscure the music is, the less it works.
You will need a microphone for this.
Steps: 1. Go to https://www.midomi.com/ 2. Put your volume on max and start the song (important for the mic to pick up the sound) 3. Hold your mic to the speaker or a headphone cup and tap the ID button on midomi (obviously the less interfering outside noise the better).
It will either work or it won't.
Did you try Midomi?
I tried your melody there a few times but I kept getting it out of tune. You might want to give it a go.
And now I have the melody in my head as well...
There are a multitude of services that can automatically identify songs from just your humming. I'd suggest giving those a try. For example;
or
There are already a number of services that allow a user to hum to discover a song. It’s great that Google is getting in on the action, but it’s not exactly new. Maybe they will do a better job though? Who knows.
I don't recognise it from your description, but try this https://www.midomi.com/ - it's like Shazam, but you can also find songs just by recording yourself humming them, and I've managed to find songs using it that Shazam doesn't recognise.
Hope this helps.
Sadly I wasn't able to find anything since the ones I thought are already in the comments. Have you tried using Midomi? You basically hum the song and it helps you find it, maybe that will help!
Şimdi midomi sitesini nasıl kullanacağımızı anlatalım. Kullanımı çok basit, açılan sayfada üst orta kısımda "click and sing or hum" linkini tıklıyoruz.
There is a website that you can hum into and it will give you possible songs.
I thought I knew the words and googled for at least 30 minutes. I did this for a few days, I could not get the song out of my head. I went to https://www.midomi.com/ Hummed the song and it worked surprisingly well.
Hm, I really don't think that's from the nutcracker. It doesn't sound like it's from any musical I know either, definitely not Les Mis or Phantom. Have you tried humming this on midomi?
Can you like hum some of the song? If so there’s websites where you can hum the part you know and it’ll try to find the song like this and I think Shazam does it too I believe. I’ve gotta go to the store but I’ll prob be starting my search in 30 minutes lol
On this website, you can hum the tune (much like how you did in your recording) and it's likely you'll be able to find it. I hummed the tune of a Japanese song that came out in 2003 (I live in USA) and it was able to find my song.
I hatw having tunes in my head. It bugs me that I cant figure then out.
I had one a few weeks ago that drove me insane which in turn I drove my GF and friends insane when I could think what it was. I could hum the chorus and I knew 'We are' was in it.
Ended up being: https://youtu.be/ql1EnjVYrZM
This website helped solve the riddle https://www.midomi.com/
No, and I say that as an occasionally performing musician/musicmaker.
At least with my stuff, I remember the artist :) Name of the song? Always the tricky part. Lyrics? Better have that on paper.
Playing a show this weekend with a guy who writes his songs, and I kid you not, I have 3 titles written down for one of the songs. Something tells me we'll just use the first line of the chorus as the name.
Of course, there are bands and songs that I remember, and there are artists that I recognize even if I haven't heard a particular song before. But before the Internet, Shazam, Youtube and Pandora, I'd know most of the songs as "the one that goes like this: hums chorus, incorrectly".
Now that you can just Google a phrase from the lyrics, it's way easier. And there's a website that will recognize your bad humming if the song is popular enough.
But, yeah, there's music, and there are music factoids.
Try the Shazam app, my phone is offline atm so I tried playing it to the web-based https://www.midomi.com with no luck.
The guy who might remember is the one who set up all the A/V stuff for the event. He's out of Scientology now: Marc Headley.
Solved! It's Tomodachi yori daijina hito by Ayame Goriki. I played the tune on a keyboard for Midomi (my whistling was apparently not similar enough to find the song!).
Thanks for everyone's help! I listened to a ton of AKB songs...
Here is a website that will name a song if you hum the tune. It doesn't always have results, but I have had some success in the past. Try using it and humming more of the song, if you can remember more.

Tried googling it but no luck. Usually you can narrow it down with lyrics and find the song but you might need to switch up some of the words that you're hearing in your head. There's this website you can use it worked for me maybe 1 time correctly but fails majority of the time. Maybe you can narrow it down with it. https://www.midomi.com/
Well, I give up. I need to go to sleep. I'll leave you with a few potential options. Let me know if any of these work and what the song is because I'm curious now. You could...
Visit midomi.com. If you know basically what the song sounds like, you can try humming it and see if it comes up.
Take this question to r/tipofmytongue. They specialize in this sort of thing.
Find your ex on Facebook and ask her. It might come off as creepy, but we're running low on choices here.
Have you tried https://www.midomi.com/ or SoundHound (app)? I don't know how well they work but what you do is hum the song into your mic, and apparently it tells you its name.
I share your pain, I hope you find the song. There are other C'est la Vi songs such as the one sung by Shania Twain or Vanessa Carlton. I know sites like www.Midomi.com let you hum the tune and try to find what song it's from, have you tried them yet to no luck?
This actually sounds kinda familiar, but I don't know the name, sorry.
You could try https://www.midomi.com this site, you can hum the song and it sometimes recognises it.. I used it when I had lemon tree of fool's garden stuck in my head xd and it worked!
