This should be hilariously ineffective. It would pop a Sosig in the face, making it rock back and forth like one of these things and ultimately doing no damage whatsoever
Protip: Good Shampoo and Conditioner, and only Shampoo your hair every 2-3 days so you don't frag it. I use this:
From the sounds of your hardware, I assume this is the laptop you have: https://www.amazon.com/HP-15-inch-i5-7200U-Windows-15-bs030nr/dp/B071HM2W81
(or something roughly equivalent)
This type of machine isn't even close to being powerful enough to run PC VR. For a laptop-class machine, you would need something with an Nvidia 1070gtx or better.

FYI, the minimum system requirements for all Steam games are posted directly on the Steam Store page for those games.
Get Restream and OVRdrop or OpenDesktopDisplayPortal. Restream gives you the window with twitch chat and the other apps I mentioned let you show a window in VR. OVRdrop and ODDP are the same thing, ODDP is just older and free. I lile to set it up so I can see it on my controller.
The great thing is that this will work for literally any VR app or game, so no need for devs to add support.

Taking the METRO 2033/Gungeon bullet currency to its logical extreme sounds interesting. i legit wasn't expecting there to be a currency system being added to the game.
The concept of being able to add stores to the game sounds awesome and i can already imagine a solo CODZ scenario that would use this. Maybe some sort of remake on Rottweiners as well?
Though, i do want a gun that accepts the wallet as a magazine! maybe in a scene via the Gameplanner, you start with a wallet containing $30 worth of $5 bullets and a gun that accepts both the wallet as a magazine and the money rounds as ammo with low level enemies nearby, forcing you to choose between quickly dispatching them with the gun at the cost of some money or try to steal one of their weapons to get the upper hand!
I would like the money gun you would start with to be semi-auto only so that you dont burn through dosh too quickly with a different full-auto money gun for when you have that moment where you have more money then god like in bethesda OW games or survival games like starbound and terraria!
Maybe the semi-auto only version can be styled after one of those money guns and the one that has full-auto can look like an ATM!

airlink is nowhere near finished. It needs a lot of polishing. I recommend buying a cable. you can get one for 25-ish dollars on amazon. I use this one
The overthetopness makes it so hilarious - it's what anime is all about!
He's a very prolific voice actor. Not only the big roles, but he does a lot of minor side charater stuff too.
He also Takahashi Ryousuke in Inital D. One of my fav VAs. Hes been in the industry since the 90s - Ahh, those good old Macross 7 days https://anidb.net/creator/139
Try increasing the priority of OVRServer_x64.exe to Above Normal or High. Link has a noticeable CPU overhead, and H3VR does use a bit more CPU power for simulating stuff than other games, so it may explain your issues.

Hence why I spent half the post describing how and why you'd want to use PBKDF2 instead.
> remember, this is Unity, and you don't want to be getting someone to do crypto themselves. Unless it's already done, you'd need to go with something more readily available.
Aforementioned performance concerns aside, there are 4 separate implementations of Argon2 for C# alone, including libsodium for .NET.
Also, even if there does end up being a fair amount of bespoke crypto code, this is a video game easter egg - when you assess the risks, the worst-case failure scenario here would be "mild disappointment". The consequences of introducing vulnerabilities in this implementation are not high. Indeed, this is a prime low-stakes opportunity for one to learn the ropes of cryptographic programming - if you're shaming developers out of rolling their own here, you're just gatekeeping for the sake of gatekeeping, doing nothing but further the already-abysmal shortage of qualified maintainers in the field.
No worries on the questions. There wasn't any lag I consciously noticed. I won't say zero input lag but no noticeable lag.
If you've tried pavlov native to the quest you likely noticed how blurry and hard to use gun sights were. Good news is link runs at a higher resolution and I had no problem using sights. I don't think it's native res much yet but still higher than what native quest games normally use.
I'm running a 4790k and had no issues with CPU usage, it was perfectly stable.
My biggest complaint with link is the oculus head sets have less buttons so you can't use twin stick H3VR controls I'm used to on the index. I'm not sure this is really an issue so much as a perk of the index controllers. The vive and all other head sets have the same limitation after all. That said you can still use arm swinging mode that a good number of users are fond of, or single stick mode so still a ton of movement options.
Some users of link talk about compression artifacts but to be honest I haven't been able to pick any out, image quality is great. I used this cable. I then use a small shorter cable for the last foot. This one is ziped tied onto the head set and the larger cable is removable. I can take a pic if you'd like.
As with all first time users of VR I recommend getting it from a place with easy returns like amazon. If your in the DC-Maryland area I'd offer you a demo.
If you've got any other questions ask away, it is a big purchase after all.
I use these batteries and my controllers last for weeks.
a constant 1.5v makes a huge difference, and i get well over 20+ hours of play before they run out.
If you want to ask Anton a personal question that isn't H3 related, then Twitter or discord or DM is the way to do it. Also, Google can help you out here lol.
That said, I used to use these and they worked really well.
not sure, I can't get it in my country. I found it on amazon here https://www.amazon.com/Mini-Pew-USA-Submachine-Non-Firing/dp/B07T4HGSH9
I'll give you a tip:
Extendable shower rods (or some other extendable pole of some kind), and something like these.
Wedge the shower poles between floor and ceiling, screw the base stations into the clamps, then fasten them onto the poles and adjust as required.
I've been using this method for over a month now and it works a treat.
I don't know how I found this post from a week ago either.
I think they must have discounted it in error because it's now $35, but here's the drive I used.
