You may want to check out this article by LifeHacker, it has a pretty good summary. Votes can go up or down, you get one choice per post/comment, and they (votes) contribute to a user’s karma. I don’t recommend leaning on the downvote until you’ll been acclimated. You can only post to subreddits, and no, no hastags here. I don’t use the Reddit search much, I can usually find things faster on Google using a Reddit filter. Feel free to lurk until you get the hand if it. Hope that helps.

I think the avatars you're referring too are default avatars of reddit. I would assume they change based on your karma. Karma is based on upvotes to posts and comments. It could also be based on how long your account has been active.

Unfortunately I have an avatar on all my accounts so I set it right away to a custome one.

yeah all post start out with 1 vote, the point of this is.... nothing, karma is essentially meaningless, Its similar to getting likes on FB, it does nothing except social signaling. Karma is also used to avoid spam on some subreddits (aka new accounts don't have karma, so some subredits don't allow you to post if you don't have at least 100 karma for example).
You get karma only by other users clicking the upvote icon on your posts or comments.
And as far as I know you cant hide post or comment karma from other people, but you can hide your own with a browser extension caller RES.
I use Movie Mate on Android. Putting your watched history list together may take some time depending on how many you've already seen and how good your long-term memory is. I've been using the app since around 2015.
Thanks. I'm still learning how to get the best from the camera, but it's fun to see what visits us!
LOL, yeah, that hog meets cat video makes us laugh too!
I don't mind sharing. We have a Browning Strike Force HD Pro X and I got a small rig to mount it around the garden easily. I know some people use security cameras instead - I think it depends on what you need. We might get a security cam one day, so we could watch the garden live if we wanted to.
You can create and edit multi's on Android using Now for Reddit https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.phyora.apps.reddit_now.
Maybe set up your multi on the browser in desktop view then log out and back in to the app. The app description should detail whether it supports multi feature.
