It really comes down to what you're trying to achieve by going to Coors, and how much money you're willing to spend on tickets. There are no bad choices.
To the best of my knowledge, Coors has no seats with view obstructions. The Rooftop is awesome, but it's more friendly to young people that don't necessarily go to the ballpark to actually watch baseball - aside from being up in the stratosphere, it's general admission so your view is not guaranteed to be the same if you go to the bathroom. I'm not personally a huge fan, but I'm also one of the nerds that buys a scorecard on the way in.
In the outfield, there are bleacher sections: Pavilion in left field as well as the Rockpile way out in center field. I wouldn't go so far as to say they're always the most fun in my experience, but they are the most affordable. That may be why the pavilion always seems to have more children than the rest of the ballpark. The mezzanine seating in right field is similarly far away, but is not bleachers.
If you're not going for the outfield, I really recommend sitting on the first base side - you'll get a great view of the sunset during an evening game. Bring shades. The 300 level isn't bad at all, but I would avoid club level - the amenities don't come close to making up for the ticket price increase.
I love the ground level, though. I usually sit midfield on the first base line, but occasionally I find a crazy good deal and sit behind the plate.
I would say to keep an eye on seats to try to find a good deal before you go. I usually have the best luck with Gametime, but sometimes Stubhub finds a nut too.
HERE IS AN EXTREMELY CRUDE SURVEY ABOUT INVITING AWAY TEAMS TO OUR GAME DAY THREADS. PLEASE VOTE.

Edit: If you want to discuss it, go to this thread
I wrote an Excel function to do it: https://hastebin.com/ajugavuwag.vbs
=MDTable(A1:E5)
will give you a table built from cells A1 to E5, with row 1 as the header row. It always seems to copy out with quotation marks around it, but those are easy enough to remove.
Just found an amazing amazon page, none of the reviews match the product:
Local blackouts are the bane of the cordcutter's existence. As /u/StonedStoolie said, the only realistic option if you don't want to pay for and use a VPN is to give someone else a Slingbox (and that's questionably/probably not legal).
If you want to pay for it so you feel above-board, I'd do that and combine a VPN subscription. I have been using RA4W VPN to watch Rapids games with MLSLive, and it's worked pretty well (I got a lifetime subscription to RA4W for ~$20 so it's totally worth).
I use a PS4 with the MLBtv app. Currently using Unlocator and it works fine. Its 5 bucks a month for their DSN. Quality is going to depend on you internet speed. Try streaming some of the free games on MLBtv and see if your internet can handle it.
Reddit for Android. I think it is the official app. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.reddit.frontpage&hl=en
the app says "can't view community" in a popup over where I can clearly see the sub in the background.
edit: I think it is just the app that is busted. I can't view any sub with it.
I think a road game is going to be easier than a home game. We went to PNC Park about an hour early and most of the guys came out of the dugout and went down the line signing for everyone standing there, kids or not. They barely even looked up. Make sure to take a pen, we forgot that part.
I'm building my first ever PC for the new flight sim coming out and am going all out (don't have anything better to spend my money on now that I have a big boy job) and getting the Ryzen 9 3900x paired with a Radeon 5700xt until the 5800xt or 2080 goes on sale soon when each team releases their new GPU.
For the people more familiar with building PCs on this sub, should I need a cooler outside of the stock cooler? This is the case I'm getting which seems to get good airflow according to reviews.
I guess I can run it with the stock cooler and see how it runs and then buy a cooler later on..
I have had no problems with + Private Internet Access's VPN so far.
If you're paying for I do not see why you should feel bad in the least about just using one of the reddit streams; you're paying for a service they're blocking you from using for stupid reasons.
What I do is use a DNS hider. In short, you make a simple change on your home router and any device on your network can stream natively with with no VPN or other setup. Personally I use and have been for years. You can buy a six month plan (be sure to keep an eye on your renewal date) for $27.50. The site has guides for setting up most devices. I have on my Apple TV and have no problems.
Simplified version of how it works: your home router hands out a DNS server address for finding websites by name to translate them into an IP address - usually this is your ISP's servers. You set the DNS server setting in your router to Unlocator's servers and they route those DNS requests through their servers to make you appear to come from outside the country to get around blackouts. Since it doesn't tunnel all your traffic like a VPN, you have 100% performance at all times and since it's a network setting that gets distributed to any device on your network, there's nothing else to do on any device you want to watch on. The extra benefit of the DNS hider is it can also get you around any country block restrictions too and you they give you a "magic URL" that can update your registered IP address wherever you are without having to log into the website manually, etc.
Which part?
I can't speak to Opera, but I can speak to PureVPN. It creates a Virtual Private Network for your computer by routing all your traffic through a server in some other location of your choosing. It's impossible to differentiate by anyone else outside of that. It's commonly used to secure internet traffic, obscure data, and often a way for people to work remotely but have their computer appear as if it's inside the company's network.
Basically it's as easy as enabling the VPN and selecting your location and then disabling it when you're done.
There are free VPN providers out there but they usually throttle your data because you're using their servers in all these other locations. The paid services are worth it because they won't throttle your streaming data. It's 100% legal to use a VPN and a very common, secure technology.
edit: finding a life-time subscription might be harder, but you can search for coupons. Check here
Oh, now I remember. I finally did enough research and figured out that it's not Unlocator that doesn't work, it's that will blackout games based on your billing zip code in certain situations. My guess is when it's detected your account streaming from too many different IPs or something like that. I was getting "unable to play this content" instead of the typical "this game is blacked out in your area" messages for both unlocator and purevpn.
I eventually fixed it by trading accounts with my buddy who lives in seattle who was seeing the same problem.
TL;DR - blacks out games based on your detected computer location AND will sometimes blackout games based on your billing zip code.
edit: it's also possible that maybe this is specific to tmobile promotional accounts.
Yeah. Last year I used ZenMate, a free chrome extension VPN service that would allow me to switch my location to Germany. Unfortunately it throttles your bandwidth so I didn't always get the highest quality video from . This year I'm gonna go with a paid VPN service, ExpressVPN, that a few of my buddies use and swear by.
It costs $70 for the year and allows unlimited bandwidth and allows you to change to any location you want. I figure with the Trump order allowing ISPs to sell our shit it's worth having even without baseball. You can also point your router to use the VPN so that it's network wide and you'll be able to chromecast . With the chrome extension it'll only work on your computer.
But if you want something quick and dirty, try out the ZenMate chrome plugin.
Bryant is a good guess but I couldn’t find any examples of his auto that were this slanted. His auto is a bit loopier. The slantedness makes me lean towards Arenado. Here is an example auto that looks similarly rushed: https://www.amazon.com/Bowman-Sterling-Certified-Autograph-Baseball/dp/B00HMXGS6I
Too bad players have such rushed autos these days.
I wanted to share what my brother just gave me for my birthday. It's pretty dope.
Trying to book a hotel for the big event the week before it happens... dunno how that's gonna work out. Looks like there's some availability, but it's gonna cost you. That said, I don't know that anyone's recommendations are going to be worth anything.
All I can say is:
Hotels.com, best of luck
Well, I was using Screen to Gif then uploading to imgur, but that takes like 10 minutes to process and upload. My computer has screen recording and gfycat will convert videos to gifs and upload automatically, so I'm gonna see if that's faster.
If you have a bag with a single pocket you're fine according to the letter of the law. I got away with one of these fully stuffed with all sorts of stuff. A kid's backpack would probably be good too since they're small and uncomplicated.
The goal here is to make it easy to search bags at security, so they'll probably be lenient as long as you aren't making things difficult.
Yes if it’s on Root etc it is blacked out. This is because of regional media agreements with the team and MLB. The media agreements are huge money so they don’t want mlb streaming service to take away from that and it’s a big part of teams revenues.
Get a vpn (NordVPN is about $80 a year) you can change your location and watch that way
As others have stated, works great. If you live in a blackout area, as I do every time the Rockies visit to play the Dodgers, $5 a month for the "Private Internet Access" VPN gets me through just fine.

Otherwise, /r/MLBStreams works fine as well as a free alternative. Would still recommend a VPN if you go this route, though.
Yes. I was given by a friend with T-Mobile (that ship has sailed for this season, but ask around before the start of next season) and bought a life-time subscription to PureVPN for $80 (using a coupon I found online) to get around blackouts. There are free VPN options, but with the way shit is going in this country I figured I could use a good VPN provider for far more than just baseball.
