Warning: redonkulously expensive. Don't get your hopes up.
Actually, if I remember right. She is the reason the Fantastic Four were created. Stan was going to leave Marvel I think at one point, but she convinced him to stay.
Here is the book I am using as a source https://www.amazon.com/Amazing-Fantastic-Incredible-Marvelous-Memoir/dp/1501107720
I’d suggest starting with Kelly Sue DeConnick’s run, when Danvers first decided to take the mantle of Captain Marvel and gets the current costume. It’s the definitive read on Danvers (and I’ve been reading the character since Avengers Annual #10 back in the eighties).
Edit: I messed up. In Pursuit of Flight is the start of DeConnick’s run: https://www.amazon.com/Captain-Marvel-Vol-Pursuit-Flight/dp/0785165495
Did a couple seasons of Transparent! I also produce a comedy show in Los Angeles called Brew HaHa! So if you or anyone are in the L.A. area, but is up and come have a drink and a laugh! Or check out or most recent pilot on Amazon Prime!
Captain Marvel as shown in the movie comes with an appropriate and fantastic-looking costume I can buy or make for my little daughter. That's HUGE. That's something little boys have had since I was a kid, but little girls didn't really. All the female characters were treated as of secondary importance, or had costumes that were not appropriate for a little girl to wear.
But now... look at this! it made me feel quite emotional seeing it go up on Amazon. I've been waiting for this specific thing since they first announced the movie when I was still pregnant with my girl.
So yes, Brie could absolutely have pulled off the old costume. But the new one means a lot to me.
From what I've seen, I'm convinced that Hulk was supposed to be in the final fight in Wakanda in the original cuts of the movie. From earlier movie leaks I read last year, some people reported that Banner would almost be killed by Cull Obsidian in the Hulkbuster armor, and that Hulk would appear last moment and "bust" out of the armor to save Banner. Evidence to back it up can be found in the MCU toy line.
I think this was eventually cut so that they could flesh out Hulk more in A4, not wanting to be used just for battling like he discussed with Thor in Ragnarok. My guess is that this will all eventually lead to Professor Hulk.
Hello, I'm a bot! The movie you linked is called Pilgrimage, here are some Trailers
~~This looks like a home made transfer to me... if it was done last night, with that amount of shading, it would be bright red~~
I was wrong, OP stepped up, just like our man Hawkeye. Good work OP.
Damn I just rewatched the leaked comic con trailer and that just gave me so many chills and brought back memories of all the speculation at that time.
Here it is if you wanna rewatch it: https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x5vzdu9
This one. Marvel releases an Art of Book for each of their films, and now series, and WandaVision was originally listed for sometime in July, then got pushed back to August and stayed like that until I checked back earlier in the week and saw it had been pushed to Jan 2022.
Mark Millar's Civil War.
The teamup is very brief. But the comic is overall pretty fun. Amazon link here
Mark Millar also wrote Old Man Logan, Kickass, Wanted, and Superman Red Son.
I wouldn't go that far. The Spider-Man: Homecoming director confirmed in a recent interview it wasn't connected to the MCU in any form.
>Fandango: Sony just announced a Venom movie – is that connected to your film at all?
>Watts: It’s not. It’s not connected to the Marvel world, so that’s really intriguing… what that will be. I don’t know anything about it. It’s not connected, so there’s not that overlap. I’m only focused on my movie right now.
Start with Warren Ellis' run and then when you're done with that you go Jeff Lemire.
Just found this awesome thanos and thor scene as well.
> Presumably he stopped by to watch the sanctum for a bit so that Dr Strange can go out for a lunch break, then tried to get a (comparatively expensive) NY lunch out of it.
Trivia for those who haven't traveled overseas for strong currency value differences:
I was in India some years ago for work, and the exchange rate at the time was about 60:1 in favor of the USA, aside from other considerations of costs being cheaper there than the USA, and especially as I'm used to living in a fairly expensive part of the USA (Pacific Northwest). I remember buying a fairly fabulous meal at the hotel when I arrived that would have been a fabulous meal at any Indian fine dining experience in the USA. Here, that meal would have easily ran $30+ with a tip for myself (no alcohol). In India that day, I think that I paid like $4 USD equivalent.
The exchange rate was 65:1 or so when Wong asked for his tuna melt. Wong had 200 Rupees, which would have been about $3.07. In real life, the closest deli to 177A Bleecker Street in Greenwich Village, NYC, is actually literally on the corner of the street where the Sanctum would be, so let's use them. Their tuna melt is say $8.80 USD with tax. Wong needed to borrow around $5.70 or so from Stephen.
Jesus we need Endgame already...
I asked for the first phase for Christmas and found it on Amazon so I would assume the rest are on there too.

Cut Scenes and toys pointed to it as well
There's a story in the comics called Captain America: Man Out of Time that deals with something similar and has Cap dealing with being in the modern world and having problems adjusting as well as him missing Bucky . And at a certain point he gets thrown back into the past and has the opportunity to relive his life and pick up were he left of. But he then he starts seeing some of the uglyness of his time (like racism, intolerance, medicine not being as advanced, etc...) and thinks about how certain things are better in the time he ended up in and he ends up going back to the present time.
And yeah I don't think Cap is a character that can just stay away from all the wars and people suffering even if he knows the outcome. That's not him, so if he were back in the past he would definitely find himself involved in something and mess with the timeline. He's also a character who tends to move forward and he came to the conclusion in AoU that there was no going back his old life so really there's no reason for him to return. He's at peace with that and Peggy told him to move on.
"Ironmonger" was/is an old-fashioned name for someone who specifically sells tools. Obediah specifically uses the term earlier in the film to justify weapons sales, saying that it's just their job and it's not up to them what happens to the "tools" that they sell.
It makes perfect sense to Obediah if not the Iron Monger suit itself, more sense than in the comics at least.
It is the Rebirth of Thanos storyline from Jim Starlin's Silver Surfer run yes. It has been implied that it was used for the planning of Infinity War. I would guess that since it isn't a major event comic it be talked about by casual readers and non-readers.
Wait, that's not Stan. Isn't that Ike Perlmutter?
It's real. That is the most real, authentic, hysterical book of my entire life :

I love how he called Avi nuts. :D
Up until Feige got involved in the e-mail exchanges almost all of the Marvel e-mails going to Sony were telling them how great they thought ASM2 was after seeing it.
I thought it was interesting Goddard left DareDevil because he wanted credits (royalties) on certain episodes and Marvel basically stuck to their guns of "that's not how we do things."
This one is funny as well: https://wikileaks.org/sony/emails/emailid/116176
Basically Marvel telling Fox to keep their name off Fox's crappy movies.
It's like how the surgery scene at the end of IM3 was extended in the Chinese release and made to focus on the Chinese surgeons who don't even get names in the international release.
I would like to point out that accessing unlicensed streamed content is generally legal, at least for the time being. Therefore providing a working link to a stream of an episode is not a violation of rule 8. It's not piracy. Piracy is the illegal duplication and distribution of copyrighted file. A person who accesses this file but doesn't duplication or distribute is not breaking any laws and isn't a pirate. And in regards to providing links to these files, the precedent has already been set that linking copyrighted material is not copyright infringement
Someone pointed out to me pretty recently that the gap between the end of Cap and his appearance in Avengers is roughly two weeks, assuming this(http://www.tiki-toki.com/timeline/entry/5395/A-Marvel-Cinematic-Universe-Timeline) is correct. I honestly teared up a bit when I realized how bad that had to be for him.
Another Bear McCreary fan? Did you hear about the BSG scores finally coming to streaming, or the release of So Say We All: Battlestar Galactica Live?

A Cinemagraph is video that is frozen partially while other parts are looping. A Platograph is an image that motion is added to in post. Basically, the fire in this is moving via an an app like this one.
It's still cool but not technically a Cinemagraph.
As a scifi fan, I love the concept of a sort of time pocket where you can learn things at a different rate than normal time. One of my favorite scifi books is Wildside where the concept of what Doctor Strange did for learning magic was explored - but for something else. Still, I can't read it and not think about Steven in his Dormammu loop.
Strange needs a better director IMO, or they need to give him a bit more freedom to do something more unique and original with the character.
I enjoyed the movie, but it was too cookie cutter. Some great visuals, but the story left something to be desired. Of the 5 movies in phase 3 so far, which is admittedly very strong, it is the weakest.
I currently have it 10th out of the 17 MCU films released to date.
They did it in a really funny way too. The VFX team experimented with all kinds of facial morphing and reconstruction that wasn't working super great, then someone tried scanning an old woman's face and mapping it onto Atwell's and it worked perfectly. I think The First Avenger did something similar with Skinny Steve, where they literally just scaled down Chris Evans' body and cleaned it up
That's not to say this stuff is "cheap" or simple, but it's far less complex than it used to be. There's even a recently unearthed cottage industry in Hollywood that does nothing but CGI beauty touchups.
This is only a teeny bit funny. I think we would all love Deadpool and Spider-Man too much, I bet that is when the Superhero movies start jumping the shark, weird specific crossovers. Oh lord give us all a New Fantastic Four movie.
Quick story time: A couple of days ago /u/bloomin__onions made a montage similar to this one with all of the 16 MCU posters we have at our disposal. (I know, Thor: Ragnarok teaser poster is out, but 17 being prime there is no way he could have made it look like a nice smooth rectangle). I thought it would be a great addition to the posters in my room but the posters he used were a bit too clustered IMO, and I wanted each individual movie to be identifiable from afar. So I made this. If you have any criticism, or maybe a replacement for one of the posters that you think would be better suited, I'm a taker. I try to work with ~1000x1500 pitures though, so some posters I found I couldn't add because it wouldn't have looked as good once printed in say A1 or A2 format.
Link to a 4160x6000 png original edit, it was too big for reddit to handle :(
Ironically, this is one of the best Endgame sets they have done and is receiving massive praise from the community. The previous attempt was a real mess with tons of dull/inaccurate figs for a painful $99.99. This release is extremely reasonably priced and includes a superb Thanos bigwig with the first ever turnable bigfig head, as well as Endgame versions of Thor, Cap, and Wanda for the first time. The build is superfluous, but we got the van!

You should check out the Matt Fraction/David Aja run of Hawkeye. I don't really read comics much, but that series really made Hawkeye my favorite Avenger. Really great stuff, like an entire issue seen through the perspective of his dog.

Weirdly enough, I'm not convinced it's legit...

The shapes and muscles are very uneven, but the web designs are much better than what I can draw (though I recommend using a thinner/sharper pencil for drawing the webs than drawing the rest of the body)
I found this book really useful for drawing characters in pencil.
I mean. Kind of. They ended up throwing a lot of that out in the end anyway.

I got it for Christmas so im not sure ill link the amazon for the same one below
Other than two texts from this guy to a complete stranger who found his phone, what is private there? You can learn more "private stuff" on his LinkedIn profile, which is public. Not sure what's with all the privacy police ITT. Apologies for offending anyone. I was, and still am, just shocked at the odds of this and found their banter humorous.
You think that to say somewhere is "diverse" means that it doesn't have a mixture? You know what "diverse" means?
And yes, I know exactly what you meant, that's why I repeated it back to you as an analogy.
(And another argument I've enjoyed reading in the past, when a new non-white superhero is promoted: "They already have Black Panther. What do they need another one for?")
Humanoid definition from Cambridge Dictionary
>A machine or creature with the appearance and qualities of a human.
Humanoids definition from Oxford Dictionary
>Having an appearance or character resembling that of a human.
Don't try to argue with a biology major on what a humanoid means. A quick Google search can prove you wrong.
Do you mean the one from the official concept art?
Because that's where he got that from. He's no prophet if you think that.
I dunno, Loki has had a TON of talking. The first episode was basically all talking. The second episode was like half talking. The third episode was more of a mix but I'd say 1/3 talking to 2/3 action?
Overall mostly talking. But I get it, you want more action oriented less talking oriented. Definitely try "New Who". Dr Who Series 1 with Eccleston. Should look like this

It does come off goofy at times though. Honestly Loki felt like a really good episode of Dr. Who to me.
Yeah, back in 2015 there were two Amazon listings for Daredevil season one and AKA Jessica Jones season one.

I have only read two Dr Strange comics, and both are great.
First one is Doctor Strange: The Oath by superstar Brian K. Vaughan and Marcos Martin. It was a very good introduction for me, they retell his originstory and all that.
The second is a new one that just started a couple months ago and the art is really fantastic. They have only released three issues and I am intrigued to see more.
Looks like you can buy it digitally in the usual places and Xfinity has it on demand if they're a provider in your area, but nothing else in the way of streaming options.
Depending on where you live, your library probably stocks DVDs you can borrow the same as books - it's worth trying through them. Not available as a Netflix DVD (yet) and Redbox only does movies, so unless you know some DVD rental store nearby that's survived, the library is kind of your only possible rental option.
I guess i may have come off as slightly sarcastic because of the italicized part, even though I wasn't trying to be lol. But I concede, it's hard to read tones over the internet
Great program, here it is http://www.virtualdub.org/

I mean yeah, they're one of the most popular ships in the fandom (and definitely one of the most popular ships in the comics fandom). You're late to the game by around 50 years... 😂
That is some serious detective work to prove a point. I'm surprised at how serious you are taking your role here today! Here's his public LinkedIn profile where he violated his own privacy by posting information about himself that is UNCENSORED.
You can grab the .stil from MyMiniFactory and convert it to .3mf using free MeshMixer for instance. I wanted to only upload the most common file format because of the size of the files. When someone hits "download" it downloads a zip file of all the files and it would just be a bunch of duplicate files taking up a lot of space :)

Hey! I made these! Thanks for the compliments and kind words guys! I enjoy the conversation it has started about people's favorite masks. There is also video of the newest MCU mask with Moving Lenses here! and also in GIF form here!
Totally not plot relevant in any way but in the scene where we see Sylvie as a young girl, she is actually playing with a D&D miniature (the bigger of the two dragons she is holding).
The smaller one might also be a D&D mini but I'm at least sure that the bigger of the two is a custom painted version of the nolzur's marvelous miniatures young blue dragon.

nothing super amazing, just something I noticed :)

apparently they lower sound levels, but maintain clear sound. maybe those could help? (this is 100% not an ad, just trying to help :P)
Yeah, they are both official. The 4th season isn't digibook anymore but the 5th season is. If you want the 5th season in a non-digibook form, buy this.
You're in luck, a new Cloak & Dagger miniseries just started this week: https://www.comixology.com/Cloak-And-Dagger-2018/comics-series/119487?ref=c2VhcmNoL2luZGV4L2Rlc2t0b3Avc2xpZGVyTGlzdC9zZXJpZXNTbGlkZXI

For those who want to dig in to the comic tie-ins, this is a good chance to grab them! My top recommendation for this sale is undoubtedly Fury's Big Week. It sheds more light on Nick Fury and SHIELD's involvement during Phase 1 leading up to the Avengers.
Most volumes contain 1-2 prelude stories, a comic adaptation of a previous movie, and a classic Marvel comics issue that has source material related to the movies. This format has been a hit or miss to me at some points. As an example, the Thor: TDW prelude recaps the first Thor movie which is nothing new, but the prelude contains a lot of interesting story elements that the movies had missed out. The Ant-Man, GotG, and Doctor Strange preludes are like this in terms of interesting in-MCU stories that lead up to the movie.
Unfortunately the flipside of this are the volumes for The Winter Soldier and Age of Ultron preludes. Their prelude stories are pretty short and nothing too exciting happens, with the bulk of the volumes containing a lot of old Marvel material. You're better off just finding the Infinite Comic itself at that point.
The Punisher page still doesn't have a date on it. If you're referring to the screenshot from the Netflix app that was posted on Reddit in August, other sources have tried to verify its authenticity, but were unable to since the page as it appears in the screenshot could not be found on netflix.com or in any app.
It's true that the amount of time it took to double the human population was much more than 64 years in the past (indeed there were times when the human population shrank) - without the advances in medicine and food supply we have today the human population has estimatedly doubled in hundreds or even thousands of years, way back in the past. So I suppose Thanos could have achieved his goals long-term by not only eliminating half the life in the universe but by also eliminating all technological advances so that things like infant mortality and disease shot up. Not a good way to preserve the golden age of a civilization, however. Alternatively, instead of reducing life by 50%, he could have reduced life by 99%. That would have reduced the human population to something like what it was back in 0 AD, for example.
Actually feige said marvel will do it if audiences want it. "a supercool idea for the next Ant-Man film, and if audiences want it, we’ll find a place to do it."

Karli's entire personal motivation is a woman dying of tuberculosis. This is the thing that pushes her over the edge and has her blowing up soldiers. Funny how you never see those soldiers in camps pointing those rifles they're always carrying around. Weird how she says, "The only language they understand is violence" but you never see the soldiers with assault rifles engaged in the necessary violence to kick people out of their homes even though Sam later says, "You're a bunch of guys with assault rifles kicking people out of their homes."
Honestly, the show probably got too hot for them to handle. Reminds me of when Howard Stark was supposed to be the main villain of Iron Man but the DoD stepped in saying they couldn't imply that all arms dealers were bad guys.
This isn't exactly Marvel Studios related but there are A LOT of Marvel comics available on Amazon right now for very cheap. For example, Infinity Gauntlet is only $2.20 on there, marked down from $24.99. I should note the sales are for the digital versions that can be read on Kindle and/or Comixology.
There's been no confirmation he will be.
http://www.ign.com/articles/2014/04/09/nathan-fillion-teases-possible-guardians-of-the-galaxy-role
>Fillion starred in Gunn's breakout movie Slither, and wore a ridiculous costume as The Holy Avenger in Super. Given his relationship with Gunn and Avengers 2 director Joss Whedon, this fan asked Fillion, "Were you wanting to get a part in Guardians of the Galaxy?"
>Fillion, mischievous devil that he is, responded, "Wanting to? Or maybe, did?" After the crowd calmed down he continued, cryptically, "I'm just sayin' maybe. Maybe there'll be a surprise. Maybe check the credits after the movie when you watch it."
What we have for sure is a cheeky "maybe"
Well, that was a cute response and all, but that's not how it happened or how it works. Comcast made an offer when Disney did back in 2017. Fox rejected their offer. Fox PICKED Disney as the winner.
Source: https://www.fool.com/investing/2017/12/30/why-did-fox-accept-disneys-offer-over-comcasts-hig.aspx
It takes 12-18 months because once the offer is soft-accepted, the Government needs to review it. That is the phase we are in now. It's another reason they went with Disney over Comcast, because Comcast was already involved in a high-level acquisition with AT&T and it was assumed that a deal with Disney would get through the approvals sooner than Comcast as they are already into the weeds on the AT&T deal (and many don't think that deal will be approved. Trump's spokesmen have indicated he has already rejected it and Trump is friends with Murdoch and favorable about the Disney deal).
So let me say that again: Comcast made a bid and it was rejected. The Disney bid was the winning bid in the auction metaphor. Now it's all accepted and the government is reviewing, Comcast wants to try again.
Yes, companies can make any offer they want at any time, but generally they look out for public perception and generally try to follow some semblance of good sportsmanship. Comcast doesn't seem to be in this case.
And I've been in the Corporate world for decades, thanks. My first job there was because a HUGE company bought out a little one they wanted.
Why this obsession with ever-increasing box office? People have other things they need to spend money on and lots of people don't have more money than they had last year but everything costs more. Young people, especially, have less money to spend, and they make up a big part of the audience for these movies.
> A combination of debt, joblessness, globalisation, demographics and rising house prices is depressing the incomes and prospects of millions of young people across the developed world, resulting in unprecedented inequality between generations.
It's unrealistic to think that movies will just keeping more and more money. Marvel has already made the entire world their market. Their audience may have peaked. The good thing is that I'm pretty sure Feige and crew know how to make good movies and make money even if they only stand to sell 500M to 1B in tickets.
The other thing to consider is that the news reports are that Downey, Jr. signed a two-movie deal in June for Avengers 2 and 3. Even a cameo counts as a movie. At least it did for Samuel L. Jackson, who has three movies left in a nine movie deal.
> Spider-Man can have a little cameo, maybe the small part that Luke Cage and Iron Fist have in the comic.
Jon Watts recently confirmed that the Venom film isn't part of the MCU in any way:
> Fandango: Sony just announced a Venom movie – is that connected to your film at all? >>Watts: It’s not. It’s not connected to the Marvel world, so that’s really intriguing… what that will be. I don’t know anything about it. It’s not connected, so there’s not that overlap. I’m only focused on my movie right now.
Hey! I wrote this theory.

It sounds pretty comprehensive and it took so long that it makes sense it'd be new stuff we hadn't seen before. But I'll probably wait until reviews just to see since it's a lot of dough.
AC season 2 and AoS season 3 are both on Amazon. It says in the product details they are region free.
It's going to include Avengers 4 and Captain Marvel, so it wasn't likely to turn up this May. Still worth the wait though? Looks a hell of a beast.

As far as how to set videos as live wallpapers on your phone, there's the Video Live Wallpaper app on Android.

Garfield has been praised for his performance as Peter Parker, but his critical remarks that seemed to blame the studio for Amazing Spider-man 2's tepid box office and critical reception may have annoyed the wrong people. Garfield also stood up Sony at a corporate dinner in July. Garfield's attendance was going to be mentioned by Sony CEO Kaz Hirai and he was supposed to sit with some top Sony executives. His absence (with less than an hour of notice) was seen as an affront and slight by the company's Tokyo bosses. As of October 2014, it looks like Garfield is out of the franchise for good.
