There was a post on here about the IQ film from Amazon. I just bought 2 for 8 bucks
Google Pixel 2 XL Screen Protector [Not Glass][2-Pack], IQ Shield LiQuidSkin Full Coverage Screen Protector for Google Pixel 2 XL [Case-friendly][HD Clear][Anti-Bubble][Anti-Scratch] https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073RV6PQD/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_jjdFBb4WG1BX5
There is an app on the play store called fingerprint swipes that allows you to change what each gesture does. Some actions do require root though. I've been using it for almost a year and love it.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.aecampos.android.fingerprintgestures
I'm sorry everyone is ignoring your question and making value judgments.
I have been using this Google Pixel 2 XL Akku Hülle, Newdery Dünn Pixel 2 XL 5200mAh Ladegerät Fall Backup Landfall [LED-Anzeige, USB Typ C] für Pixel 2 XL (Schwarz) - N https://www.amazon.de/dp/B07GZN6YSW/ref=cm_sw_r_wa_apap_rD4CI5dXNAUec
and it successfully increased the life of my P2XL. Instead of everyday, i charge it once every 2 days now
I've had this case since I got my 2XL about 3 years ago. It's been great. Between this case and a few of these screen protectors, the phone has survived being dropped several times (onto tile / concrete). When I take the phone out of the case, it's in perfect shape and could still pass for brand new.
I've had a Spiegen case on my 2xl and never had an issue with falls. The raised edge seems to provide adequate protection.

However, I don't like the volume buttons on this version. I have the identical case on my 2xl but the volume buttons have a more distinct feel.
I run with my Pixel 2xl regularly. Gotta find a decent armband on Amazon that's what I do. Works great. Here's the one I have: Trianium Armband for iPhone X 8 7 6 6S Plus, LG G6, Galaxy s9 + s8 s7 s6 Edge, Note 8 5 (Fit Otterbox Defender/Lifeproof case) [Water Resistant] ArmTrek Pro Sports Exercise Running Pouch Key Holder https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01GGX9KUA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_6Nx5Bb4K2V1TJ Edit: I even leave the phone in my regular thin-ish case I always have it in. It's more convenient for me to just drop it in and keep moving this way.
The suggested other options on Amazon from your first link include one I've purchased.

I have only needed 2 so far and they work well. Current one is going almost a year.
I've blasted through so many Zagg invisashield ones, and they are a hassle to submit for a replacement, don't stick, and break easily. Stay the fuck away from those.
It's far from perfect, but it's the first one that didn't fall off 3-5 days later..
I also use it with the rhinoshield crashguard, so case usage will vary.
There's an app called Toast Source that can tell you what app is creating toasts like this, install that and restart and you should be able to find out easily.
https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google-inc/camera/camera-6-1-009-215420794-release/
Download the latest update and that have a totally new UI. Portrait mode now can change the depth and Color Pop effect.
edit: I had to force stop it and clear cache to get it to enable dark mode.
I noticed the same problem when I had multiple access points in my home. Android's default wifi roaming setting seems a bit too "sticky" and will only switch to the stronger wifi if the current wifi signal is extremely weak.
This app lets you customize those settings and worked great on my 2XL. Be sure to read the reviews to get tips on properly setting it up. Note that when your device switches networks, it loses internet for a few seconds. This is probably why Google defaults it to not switch very often.
I had the same problem. I saw a case on Amazon that doesn't have very many reviews yet, but just by looking at the photos seems to be in line with what I'm looking for (and maybe you too.) It has two-part hard plastic/TPU design, but unlike the Spigen models, the plastic surround covers the corners. I ordered one for my new Pixel 2 XL, so we'll see. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0788L9NHZ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00__o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1#customerReviews
Grab the "Ampere" app. It'll let you monitor charge rate.
Often, just unplugging and reconnecting gets the phone to smarten up.
I've found this app to work really well, and although I use their walking app instead of their running app I would imagine the running app works just as well. Never stops tracking, no straight lines and the distance seems to be pretty accurate. I don't even have to turn off battery optimization and it still runs with the screen off.

The Otterbox Symmetry is a fantastic case for the Google Pixel 2 XL. No need to get a screen protector because the lip on the front protects the screen from when it's laying face down, and likely even if it's dropped on the front. I bought one for myself and my Mom around two years ago and it's proven to be incredibly durable, comfortable in the hand and pocket, and it looks nice.
I've been using the Spigen Rugged Armor on my Pixel 2 XL since I got it in mid 2018 and it's been fantastic. It's survived quite a few drops and still looks great. Thick enough to offer protection but not thick enough to really bulk up the phone.
Same here except it's 129 memes. I think it's from all the photos that are backed up on Google Photos. The algorithms/"AI" scans everything and recognizes certain features of the image. Open Photos app, click albums at the bottom, then look at the top of screen, all nice and neatly organized into categories, people, places, etc. Cool but also scary in regards to "privacy". I've been using QuickPic as my primary photo gallery on every phone, since 11' or 12', app was released in 10'. It will even show typically hidden from user images such as files downloaded/attached from random apps, like ads and stupid miscellaneous stuff. Good to be able to see and delete otherwise hidden files, albeit miniscule data size. Some come back though.

Would any of you be able to check your sensor readings and share it? I use AndroSensor https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fivasim.androsensor
I've been using this app since I had the original Moto Droid. Never failed and it's outdated 4 yrs. I'm really curious if anyone else has same sensors that failed. Test proximity and light sensor by covering top edge above the display.
I had the same problem only with wifi. I solved it by installing push notification fixer and setting wifi heartbeat on 1 minute. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.andqlimax.pushfixer.noroot
Do you have the clock app from the play store or do you use the one baked in to the OS? It's the same app, Play Store only updates it.

I've had fun reprogramming things using Macrodroid
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.arlosoft.macrodroid
YMMV, but root isnt required, and it can do all sorts of other things I'd never thought of.
I've been using reachability cursor to bring everything to my fingertips

Well worth the full version IMO
Wheres the original without the post process.
edit: I think this might be the original... which got me google searching and I found an app that does raw with PVC enabled! Amazing! Moment Pro
Sorry for the late response. Just a few tweaks. Mostly to night mode and the tracking focus. U can use this app to compare
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sufficientlyadvancedapps.picperfect
Don't even need a rom for that, just need root. Pretty sure I remember doing this with magisk and edgesense plus
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eu.duong.edgesenseplus
I also see Button Mapper as and option.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=flar2.homebutton
For either of those you need Root for all of the features i'm pretty sure.
Try an app called Snow. You can adjust all aspects of your face with retouching etc. Also has lots of filters similar to snapchat but better.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.campmobile.snow
I have this one that I use with this case.
The screen protector is poorly rated on Amazon, but I've not had any issues with it at all. It might be because the case is holding down the edges which seems to be most people's complaint.
Note: The case comes with a plastic screen protector as part of the case, so you have to cut it off to use the glass protector. Took me five minutes with an Exacto knife.
At this point I think I've spent more money on screen protectors than I have on the phone itself. All the ones I've gotten either don't stick, don't fit my spidgen case or have just been downright junk. I don't like the overall thickness of it, nor that it doesn't have a tempered glass protector for the screen but I'll probably stick with my Unicorn Beetle case until it's time for a new phone.
My next phone won't have a beveled edge.
On my P2, I don't have the problem, now, but I had a similar problem when I was running a VPN software.
I believe there is now an integrated VPN through Google Fi, which I do not use. I got the setting correct with IPVanish.
Not as big as you want, but I bought this and really like it. It fast charges the phone and first nicely. I have no connection with the seller. Google Pixel 2 XL Battery Case... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07D8FWL23?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
You could try some compression shorts with pockets. That eliminates the swing
I'm right handed, so I often am doing things with my right hand (for example writing, eating, using a mouse on a computer, driving, etc.) while I operate the phone with the left hand only. So no, i never accidently click the bottom *right*. Since I don't know how to write or eat or use mouse with my left hand, I'd never have my right hand free for such a simple task as using a phone. When I first got a smartphone (albeit with a smaller screen), I just naturally learned to use it one handed with my left hand since I had certain things I could only do with my right hand. If you're going to tie up your dominant hand for phone use, why not just use both hands?

I use this app and use the phone one handed all the time:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.xda.onehandedmode&hl=en_US

This phone is much thinner than 6" phones from previous years, so it's extra easy to use it one handed.
I guess you could male it work by changing either the backdrop or the icon pack. each look ok (i am sticking to Urmun myself) but don't go together that well :P
You don't need root for this app to work. However, you will need ADB and follow the instruction per the app to enable the setting. This ADB command is a one time only and it sticks even after reboot
>If you have root, Custom Navigation Bar works great for this. /u/chris3i
I'm not sure. Normally it shouldn't have affected the coating itself. Like I said, maybe the protector you have just never had an oleophobic coating at all.
Edit: if you need to, there's this I found on Amazon.com
https://www.amazon.com/Crystal-Armor-Fingerprint-Oleophobic-Coating/dp/B00LKYW6M0
I've been wobbling between the Spigen and the Ringke for a couple bucks less. How much protection do you think the Spigen offers? I've been using the Diztronic TPU, but it makes the phone quite bulky and I really don't like the way it doesn't contour around the top screen edge.
Diztronic https://www.amazon.com/Pixel-Diztronic-Slim-Fit-Flexible-Google/dp/B0772D5Y5R
I've used the aukey it's and gave them to my sister, she's a professional photographer (Canon 70D and Sony a6300) and she enjoys the aukey lens, nice for a smartphone she says...
I bought the bc master pro from Amazon
BC Master iPhone Camera Lens kit Pro 58mm, 0.45x 110° wide-angle lens + 15x macro lens,Aluminum alloy, for iPhone, Android, Samsung Mobile Phones and Tablets https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XKP986X/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_ZyR5Ab2283ZFG
This one fits fine for me. I use it with an OtterBox Defender, and there's like a millimeter of clearance between case and protector. This is a dot matrix tempered glass protector with glue around black painted edges. Works fine for me until I pony up for a Domeglass protector https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075WW69PS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_48E4AbBHNZYB5
If you use it with a large case like a defender, put the protector on while the case is on the phone.

hmm - definitely worth reporting. Have you tried using different keyboard apps? I use swiftkey and don't seem to have that problem.
