Even though it took them way longer than it should have, I don't think you're being fair to Blizzard. They've come out and essentially said "we don't always know what's best." That is the implicit message of announcing classic servers. To claim that the devs just don't know what they're doing isn't fair.
You have to understand that it's been a very, very long time. The people playing WoW now are a breed apart from those who played classic. Even the players who've played the game this whole time unabated have been reconditioned and spoiled by the current game.
Blizzard can't just release a new expansion and say "hey, we're going vanilla style this time, lol!" That was how they marketed Cataclysm. "A return to hard," they said. There was even this gem where Ghostcrawler (lead systems dev at the time, now works at Riot) tried to justify (and rightly so, in my opinion) the difficulty of heroic dungeons at the start of the expansion. Do you know what happened next? The playerbase rioted and then heroics were blanket nerfed like two weeks later.
Then there was flight in Warlords of Draenor. Blizzard tried to remove flight. WoD was initially designed under the assumption that flying mounts would never be allowed. But the playerbase cried and cried and Blizzard caved. That is the playerbase they have now. It's their fault, of course, but you can't just go alienating your playerbase, even if you think they're wrong.
Let's not go looking the gift horse in the mouth. Blizzard has finally promised to give us what we want. I think it takes a lot of humility to say "you guys were right."
The values this video examines are correct according to the official bestiary, published near the end of 2007 (https://www.amazon.com/World-Warcraft-Bestiary-Official-Strategy/dp/0744009790).
Has a damage of 65-87. This video does not account for the following abilities also done by that boss: Rushing Charge (additional 270 damage on first attack); Rampage (Normal damage +26 and 2.5s stun); Enrage (attack speed by 60% and damage dealt by 52); Left for Dead (Inflicts 200 damage and forces it to feign death for up to 5 min)
Listed with a damage of 14-19. Note that Hecklefang Hyenas, which are levels 15-16 do 21-22 damage. Accordingly, the Hyenas in Desolace have unusually low auto attack damage, but the values are correct.
Also:
Barbed Crustacean: 25-33 damage before armor/DR
Scarlet Scryer: 39-54
Razorfen Defender: 61-83
That dungeon companion book reminded me of how I always wished Blizz had made some official D&D campaigns in their world. They could have sucked even more money from me.
Edit. They did

Please read the reviews here and reassess that statement :D
Irish: reduced Anglicized form of Gaelic Ó Loingsigh ‘descendant of Loingseach’, a personal name meaning ‘mariner’ (from long ‘ship’). This is now a common surname in Ireland but of different local origins, for example chieftain families in counties Antrim and Tipperary, while in Ulster and Connacht there were families called Ó Loingseacháin who later shortened their name to Ó Loingsigh and also Anglicized it as Lynch. Irish (Anglo-Norman): Anglicized form of Gaelic Linseach, itself a Gaelicized form of Anglo-Norman French de Lench, the version found in old records. This seems to be a local name, but its origin is unknown. One family of bearers of this name was of Norman origin, but became one of the most important tribes of Galway. English: topographic name for someone who lived on a slope or hillside, Old English hlinc, or perhaps a habitational name from Lynch in Dorset or Somerset or Linch in Sussex, all named with this word.
Don’t know if I should tell you, but you can buy a whole box of fun dip on Amazon. I may or may not have them in my house at the moment. I’ll just leave this here…
Logitech Z-5500 still the best 5.1 speaker system to date. Its a real durable setup too. it survived my HS/College life and still serves me well into my 30s :). You can still find this setup, but it goes for crazy prices these days cause they stopped making it =/. https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-THX-Certified-Digital-Surround-Speaker/dp/B0002WPSBC
omg that pre-nostromo keypad. ive gone through like 7 of those
EDIT: for a moment i thought it was razer who renamed it to nostromo, but that's not the case. it was the belkin nostromo n52 of course

i only bought the razer version once.. it lasted 2 months. such a shame that they ruined such a beautiful device
>SC2 failed to become a successor to SC1 in esports
Sure it has. Its currently the biggest RTS esport out right now. Especially in the West, when SC1 failed to gain traction in favor of WC3.
>D3 failed to even come close to be the definition of ARPGs like D2 was,
It was still a critical and financial success.
>Also, Destiny 2 sold tens of millions of copies. Go to their sub and try to tell them that game is great because, hey, look at sales guys!
>Overwatch is an uninspired and casualised clone of TF2
TF2 was already a casual game. And I don't see how its uninspired, it brought a new stuff to the table that was present in TF2. Besides, is "uninspired" really a good critique considering even before the last 5 years, their games were rehashed Warhammer fantasy/ and 40k?
We have no clue how much Destiny 2 sold. We still have no clue how much Destiny 1 sold: https://kotaku.com/all-the-ways-activision-is-avoiding-saying-what-destiny-1654985376
Hi, just dropping into this discussion to say that Jump Desktop’s Fluid protocol should give you solid gaming performance (30fps-60fps) depending on resolution. Plus we’ve recently added automatic resolution switching to Jump which makes it super convenient to control performance. Check it out: https://jumpdesktop.com/getfluid
Get this. https://www.amazon.com/Microsoft-Wireless-Controller-Adapter-Windows/dp/B078T3R8YS/
Install this. http://keysticks.net/site/default.aspx
Spend forever mapping it.
Play wow on the PC connected to the TV
alternatively, get a battery powered bluetooth mouse and keyboard, like an actual civilized person, you dirty heathen.
I think I have what he or she is talking about. It's by Brady Games. Here is one on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/World-Warcraft-Master-Guide-Second/dp/0744008190/
The book was great. Gave you tons of information on ever race and class. Also in depth details on all of the zones, dungeons, and raids at that time. There was a whole thick section in the back (I believe) that had all of the rares in the game and what abilities they used. A great read, especially on the toilet!
I just use Lutris with no issues what so ever https://lutris.net/games/world-of-warcraft-classic/
Make sure to install dependencies for battle net to work: https://github.com/lutris/docs/blob/master/Battle.Net.md
I'm also looking for a vanilla video. It was a Molten Core video showcasing a full raid run. Unfortunately i only remember the song in the video: there was a Fatboy Slim (Right Here Right Now) and a System of a Down (Chop Suey) song in it. Sooo if someone knows what i'm talking about and finds the vid i'd appreciate if they would share it with here :D
EDIT: I FOUND IT: https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x16vawb This was the main reason i started playing wow vanila :)
Here are two graphs I made to show you how armour scales. The blue graph is against a level 60 attacker and the red graph is against a level 63 (boss) attacker.
You can easily see how important armour is for casters. My priest right now has 824 armour which gives me a 12.3% reduction against a 60. Applying Inner Fire bumps that up to 2219 which is 27.19%. So in this case Inner Fire is an almost 15% physical damage reduction. I feel like this is largely unknown by casters. Armour carries a lot of weight at lower levels.
Source is a bit old, but it's still solid. Based on what Viper says, they have the source code, in theory, but the way the code was preserved in parts. Some not getting flagged for the keeping.
You're going to have a hard time finding a choice of monitors with those specs and size at that price and you definitely won't find any above 1080p resolution.
Spend a bit more and get something like this for $255.
This is the only Amazon deal as of now under $500 I would consider. It'll run Classic 1080p High 60fps no problem.
I can vouch, at least in a local network for Steam in-home Streaming, Which i've used to play wow elsewhere, and they've expanded it to do Stream Anywhere (instructions) so you no longer need a VPN to pretend you're on the same network. As long as your internet upload speed at home is good, and your download on your phone is fine. If you've got an android phone I believe it works through the Steam Link App.
Some advantages to his approach is that its designed to work with games, it should be easy to setup and administer, they automatically determine the best capture/encoding method based on the capabilities of the devices as well as options to auto-adjust quality during network fluctuation and it tries to reduce input latency as much as possible by using seperate connections for the input and video. It does keyboard and mouse pass-through as well as controller which opens up the option for something like the Console Port addon.

This poll is the one with most votes that I could find. (from Blizz forum)
And why would I ever believe you wanted a serious discussion when you said I literally spout bullshit? C'mon man.
Here's my old rogue twink from vanilla. Haven't played in a long long time but it was pretty close to best in slot. Some of the more grindy things like the helm amd trinket were never done. With evasion I would have over 100% dodge.

> I'm sure you and your guild are far too shit to clear things on the first night.if what you are concerned for.is achievements. Maybe still to current retail WoW.
I dont have a guild yet, since you know. The game has not launched yet.
But i was in Pure Luck/Argent Crusade/Ressurection/Work in Progress on Warsong 1.12 and was part in all server first kills except for like 2 or 3 bosses in naxx.
I was in Team Plague on Emeral Dream. We had all server firsts up untill C'thun where i quit the server.
To be honest i havnt been in a private server without being in a server first guild.
And in retail Vanilla my guild cleared up to 4 horsemen in Naxx.
I can also tell you that Gurgthock (the leader of Elitist Jerks, yes the guild with the website) loves achievements and is currently the lead developer for WoW. He cleared all content in almost every expansion and is a so called "Scarab Lord" if you understand what that means.
So your claim that "you cant be a good player because you like achievements" is just as stupid as all the other purist bullshit arguments. And the more you make these kinds of arguments the more im sure you never even fucking set foot in a raid in retail Vanilla.

I don't see that, I think the total faction split will be close to 50/50 at most 60/40
a quick search shows this poll - https://www.strawpoll.me/14451496/r and it's 50/50 if you add up the age groups for horde and alliance
I feel like a fair price might be more akin to a server transfer price range than an expansion price(maybe $10 to $15). The issue is many people already paid full retail price for the game back in 2004-2005.
The devs have said they already have the game up and running. Don't get me wrong I'd love to see it optimized and bug-fixing is great but it's already old enough it could probably be ran on a microwave.
>800 Mhz or higher CPU
>4 GB or more of available hard drive space
>256 MB or more of RAM
How much 'optimization' is really necessary?
Here more material explaining how stupid you are.
Not to pick on you but you absolutely deserve it for being an absolute asshole in your first comment. OMG you also went and edited your comment about me not having past elementary math knowledge.
You truly are some cunt complaining about name calling after that.
> So thanks again - I've really enjoyed this discussion! Very refreshing to be able to take a deep dive, even if we mostly agree, I think I've learned quite a bit here!
+1 We could argue the details to death but it's obvious we agree largely that the situation was "fucky" (to use an academic word) from the start because we can both model in our minds a better starting point for that relationship. Absent from that story is the 2 lovers seeming to care about that healthy starting point, Match.com is a far better place to go and give yourself some credit, that is a website where people's expectations are more in-line with reality and whatnot.

I do have a snipe to ask a philosophical question about :D.
> However, I am not going to take food or water away from others simply for my own pleasure, or stockpile resources to control them. This would also be narcissistic, but in doing so, I am hurting someone else unnecessarily, and this is wrong.
Do you believe in a "duty to help"?
So the question loosely worded is, you are walking down the street and see a person drowning, you can expend close to zero (or even zero) time/energy/resources saving that person from certain death. Do you feel you have a duty to save them, or else be guilty of their death?
I think believing in "the duty to help" poses a contradiction, although it's kind of assumed in an unspoken social contract that we all would help each other.
Thanks for all the information I have some new interests to read up on, narcissism can be an "alpha" or "beta" tactic it seems like.
<Midnighters> is looking for players to come own with us.
NA|PvP|Horde|PST
Raid times:
Wed/Thur 9:30 p.m. - 12 a.m. PST
Tue a possible 3rd day if wanted/needed.
We are a late night progression raiding guild. Our leadership has extensive competitive raiding experience in Vanilla all they way to present. We are an adult based guild as well -- if you can't hang with a bunch of mid-20s to 30s folk who swear, joke, and have a blast... look elsewhere.
While we may not raid a lot during the week, we plan on being efficient and ready to go when we do. You are expected to come prepared (this means food buffs, flasks, etc). Our goals are to push content and create a community.
We intend to start raiding by the second or third month after release. There will be “pre-raid” raids where we look at our raiding core and split it into Dungeon groups to help with gearing and for raiders to build a relationship in-game with each other.
We need commitment. 80%+ attendance for raiding is required. Many of us have busy lives and have to make time to play together on our two nights a week and without reliability it all falls apart. We get things done and have been playing this game forever -- we're looking for long term commitment.
Contact Funnyman (Discord: Funnyman#4802) Or, you can head to https://www.guilded.gg/Midnighters and apply! If you can't reach Funnyman hit up Veepy#5623 Or join us in discord: kdw4gSN
it’s been many years since I’ve used one; I had a 2006 HP laptop back during original TBC and used to just play with it on my lap— i got burns on my leg bc of it, so I ended up having to use one of these cooling trays. Something like this:
https://smile.amazon.com/Cooling-15-6-17-Portable-Powered-Function/dp/B082SSJY2C
Currently I have a gaming laptop but it’s docked on a stand the entire time (with a 30” monitor + gaming keyboard and mouse). Stand: https://smile.amazon.com/Boyata-Multi-Angle-Heat-Vent-Adjustable-Compatible/dp/B07WRC9B86
I've seen this recc'd quite a few times for bang for your buck laptops. It gets a price cut quite frequently too (though I suppose that doesn't matter with launch a few days away). I may personally snag this next time it's on sale so I have something mobile to play TBC on when I feel like chilling in the living room.
there's an old phone charging set (2pc)
Last night there was 86 listings on Amazon when I checked and now it's done to 48. https://www.amazon.com/World-WarCraft-Bradygames-Official-Strategy/dp/0744004411/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1542064303&sr=8-1&keywords=wow+atlas&dpID=51T7Va0SfvL&preST=_SX218_BO1,204,203,200_QL40_&dpSrc=srch
A lot of these are from the WoW Diary by John Staats, which came out in the last couple of months for Kickstarter backers, and should be available on Amazon soon-ish
https://www.amazon.com/WoW-Diary-Journal-Computer-Development/dp/B07LB927QF
It's a really amazing compendium on the development of WoW from '99-'04, and reads very easily. I'd highly recommend it.
I love it, keys are super loud though which might get annoying for you or others.
I never said that it was right or wrong. I'm just here to clarify what the permissions are used for because people love to spin up conspiracy theories.
Yes it can open the camera app (while unlocked), no it can't listen in on you while you take a shower.
I'm sure the people that make a fuss about this have the reddit app installed, which asks for mostly the same stuff.
If you want to play from couch I suggest a lapdog or whatever it’s called. Big cushion thing with a keyboard tray and mouse pad.

Razer and Corsair make similar mouses but as far as I know neither of them have the ring finger click that the G600 does, it's just so damn good for push to talk.
From a single internet provider? Or have you a few others (i.e. Mobile Data)?
I had an issue recently where WoWhead was fast without using a VPN. But, with NordVPN the page would take a long time to load (i.e. 30seconds for each page). Another VPN had no problems with speed.
If u mean the class icons. I thin you can from there https://dribbble.com/shots/6175355-World-of-Warcraft-Vector-Class-Icons.
I don't think you understand how money works, lmao.
You should checkout "Misbehaving" by Richard Thaler:
Logistic’s mmo mouse. Has 12 thumb button mapped to the top row of the keyboard.
To enhance it in WoW, I used a program that let me set up three 3 x 4 groups of ability buttons. The first grid is the thumb buttons, second is shift+thumb buttons, third is CTRK+thumb buttons. I could even move abilities around and add new ones without worrying about memorizing the layout. I’d just glacé at the grid and could move my thumb to the right button.
It also works great in other games. Having access to those buttons with my thumb makes a lot of things easier when playing.
You can get the mouse in white or black. Here is the Amazon link which just shows the black, but I have two on my desk and one is white.

I think you're woefully uninformed about how deadly the flu and other illnesses we've had in the past have been.
https://weather.com/health/cold-flu/news/2020-01-31-5-worst-flu-outbreaks-in-recent-history
https://www.ranker.com/list/worst-us-flu-seasons/laura-allan
To date, COVID-19 has been associated with ~5,000 deaths in the US. That's tiny in comparison to even a mild flu season. Will it increase? Obviously, but even then we're not dealing with numbers we've never seen in recent history.
To put that in perspective, roughly 1 million people died worldwide from the initial outbreak of the Hong Kong flu and it affected the young and healthy much more than COVID-19.
>So you think that the hospitals being overwhelmed, and running out of ventilators for patients is expected, completely normal, and no different than the flu? Happens all the time.
Again, >%80 of those who get it don't even realize they have yet let alone need a ventilator.
Of the remaining 20%, most of those will NOT come close to requiring a ventilator.
Will people die? Sure, people die all the time from otherwise preventable illnesses. This isn't something new.
I have a desk job as well, and my eyes often used to hurt when I sat in front of the screen for too long.
It stopped when I started using Flux, because it adapts the display's brightness and color to the current time of day. So it automatically sets a warmer tone as the sun gets lower, which means less strain and relaxes your eyes a lot.
You can also adjust it manually as you prefer, if you don't have windows in the room for example.
This will help your sleep as well, so I highly recommend getting it.
> Again at the scale we're talking about that is nothing
They are going to put in roughly 2 years of development time. Here is an article to read on how much games cost to make.
> World of Warcraft - $200 million - In a September 2008 analyst conference call, Blizzard disclosed that the cost of four years of post-launch upkeep on the blockbuster MMO was $200 million.
So let's say that instead of 4 years, we have 2 years. And let's say that since they are able to pull a lot of data from the retail game, they can do things 2x more efficiently. That's $50 million operating costs. Just for the development alone. Now they need to pay a staff of people to also run the game when it launches. So there's a $50 million debt right off the bat, and then a steady cash flow needed for operating the game. Here is a link to server costs. And again, this is a legitimate company, not some people doing this for free as a hobby. Let's say they need a server 10% as large for classic. Tack on another 500k/month. They need to sustain $6 million yearly cashflow to cover their costs.
I'm sorry. The speculation you provide doesn't add up.
Also invest in a shitting cooling pad for the laptop like this one, should be like ~20 bucks. It helps performance a lot.
It might sound silly but I would consider trying to map a joystick / flight controller for wow.
Joystick motion could take the place of WASD and there are usually 4-6 easily accessible buttons.
https://www.amazon.com/PXN-2113-Joystick-Controller-Simulator-Simulation/dp/B0831DLQFW
I had the ACER Predator Helios: This one
I had it with output via Mini DisplayPort to a 32” superwidescreen monitor. I could run highest settings and/or up to 3 WoW clients at once for each of my accounts. I had it permanently docked, using USB Razer Mouse and keyboards.
I had minor issues that I’m sure I could’ve reached out to manufacturer on with keys randomly getting stuck but it was rare and usually not in-game. Also I couldn’t get the Killer network controller to configure properly but I had no issues using wireless or wired network connections.
Upgraded to a desktop for better multi-client and bc the laptop fans were loud when on max (the auto setting is nice for them, they can get loud but would chill out when I went back to less usage). Desktop was $600 off with an RTX-3070 Ti… like it was too good to pass up.
But honestly, any laptop with a dedicated video card will run it well unless you’re requiring extra tasks (like multi boxing, streaming/other multitasking, browsers that run concurrently with websites that draw a lot of processing and memory, etc), you can get almost anything in that range. You can even get a Macbook Pro instead of a PC and run WoW fine.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08C9HZ5YT?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details I don't know why my previous comment didn't work
I can't say that I've made a comment about retail WoW (which I assume you're referring to) since the early days of Shadowlands, almost 2 years ago.
That said, Amazon has a GREAT deal on starts going on; no need to reach so hard: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08TN1NWLV/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_ZY3W86H13HAWBTEQGR25?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
You basically use the .ahk file to start the actual program.
I opted to use this person's script: https://autohotkey.com/board/topic/120849-simple-wow-multi-boxingdual-boxing-script/
and just removed the modifier sections, as I don't really use them in a multibox setup.
Basically just start the clients up and then 'run' the script. It's plain text so you can paste into Notepad and then rename the .txt to .ahk.
I recommend running your 'main' account through the Bnet launcher and then making a shortcut to the WoW exe to run your secondary clients.
Then always exit the secondary clients first. WoW saves the 'global' settings like screen size, graphic settings, sound settings, etc based on the LAST client closed. - It's not a big deal if you mess up, it's just annoying to open the game to 1280x720. Because you derped and closed the secondary client last. xD
Now just make a macro in WoW for all your characters that is:
/target party1 /follow
put it on one of the 1-0 keys of the Secodary character. Just makes it so much faster to gather your army. - Because the broadcast function of the script will 'press' the key that the macro is on even if the client isn't in the foreground (ie if you hit ESC, the foreground client will pop up the Main Menu).
Autohotkey works wonders and is free.
https://autohotkey.com/board/topic/88717-wow-dual-boxing-script-world-of-warcraft-multiboxing/
There are other versions of this script that you can google, and I think there's a few guides on how to set it up on YouTube
Way too quick and to the point. Where's the 4 minute intro with crappy animations and music? Where are the NordVPN/Raid Shadow Legends ads every 45 seconds? And you didn't even make it 10:01 minutes long!!1
Here's a base that you can adapt. Note that I didn't multibox on official server.

heyguys pls watch my 10:01 video where I read from a list I googled but never link it also 7 minutes of this video will be spent talking about todays sponsor NordVPN get 120% off your next deal with the code “zeroIQ” thanks for watching remember to smash that like button
I used a Breakfast-in-bed style table with the legs folded away. It just so happened to fit perfectly in the passenger seat. The right side rests on the door, and the left side was supported by a rolled up windshield shade. As long as the arm rests were down it was pretty stable. Everything could be put away easily when it was time to roll, but it wasn't perfect. if you needed to get up you risk the table falling over.
I'm sure there's better solutions out there, but I already had the table for using a previous laptop in bed.
It's been a while but I'm pretty sure this is it: https://www.amazon.com/NNEWVANTE-Foldable-Adjustable-Breakfast-25-6x17-7in/dp/B0749FSVSJ/ref=sr_1_101?crid=34AZBJXK57WJA&keywords=bed%2Btable&qid=1649027201&sprefix=bed%2Btable%2Caps%2C112&sr=8-101&th=1
Truck was a Freightliner cascadia 2019
I’m a healer main in a semi-hardcore guild and from my perspective (again, this is my personal feelings) Hpala- worst AoE healers but bring blessings that everyone wants, strong single-target healing and utility with BoP, Freedome etc. in reality you’ll hear “kings on pet” 100000 times/raid and will focus on buffing/dispelling since you can’t compete with the rest of the healers. Druid - gameplay with HoTs, lifebloom-spam, and strong healers. NS is a powerful CD and can come in clutch. The downside is that it can be difficult to top the party since your hots aren’t direct healing spells and need to tick. But overall fun to play RShaman - OP and people always want you because of Totems/BL. Will be chain-heal spam but strong AoE healing and always wanted in raids/group. Priest - my personal favorite, and imo the best healer in TBC. Circle of healing is the most broken healing-spell in the game, renew, prayer of Mending, Shield gives you a ton of different approaches to situations. I think priests have the best kit and can use it better than any other. Super strong AoE and single-target healing, can be clutch with PoM and PWS and have dispels.

It was the character I gave the trinket called Carved Ogre Idol to, later changed to a toy. I name changed her to Ogreſʒoss. Here she is. So many memories. However in Classic I can't play Shaman on Alliance. I'll probably make a priest or hunter.
Aah yeah. Thats probably it! The gear was really good at the time with high item lvl. I stopped playing in early Cata and iirc they made all the pvp gear avaible and just added elite versions for transmog.
I really loved it back then when you required rating to buy certain pvp items. Similar to Vanilla ranking 1-14. The items were really great and if you had them vs a person that didn't have them, you then had a great advantage.
When everyone could get the same gear. People didn't like to play with enhancement shamans because they did significally less damage than other classes. So I had to link my arena master title to get people to team up with me, which eventually changed into a WOW where you have to link all kind of achievements to actually find a group which I really dislike.
> If they were in Vanilla, they would most likely cost around 1,500 gold, not 100,000.
No they wouldn't.
You're right the price is dictated by the market but you're missing the fact that market for tokens is per game region, not per server like the AH.
US being a game region means that ALL servers in US buy and sell from the same pool and price is the same for everyone. Same for EU and the other regions, saparated from each other, each one setting their own prices based on supply and demand.
If you add Classic to the system you won't have a different price for it, it'll be the same as everyone else in the same region.

> As discussed in our original announcement, each game region (Americas, Europe, Korea, Taiwan, and China) will have its own shared WoW Token exchange.

The market is region wide for the token, not server wide like the AH.

The term entered WoW lexicon through GC, who IIRC originally used it to talk about rogue poisons and arms warrior rend and such.
https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-gb/news/2888527
Your examples certainly are, but there are also a few cases where there are actual buffs and nerfs, with the game effect of the buff or nerf being judged small enough (in the eyes of the dev team) to outweigh the perceived benefit of simplifying something.
The term spread from stuff like "rogue poisons on vendor instead of making your own poisons" almost immediately, is my point. It's still good to hold a distinction, but it's a mushy edge, and may be a slippery a slope.
Twinking had a community of it's own, before cross-realm BGs you'd know other twinks on the server and see who's on the other team like "damn that gnome rogue with full BiS is on tonight" and the pvp was a different challenge from max level because of lack of abilities. Still have my twink from TBC https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-gb/character/nordrassil/chickenftw
If you install the extension Reddit Enhancement Suite, you will have the easiest time formatting your Reddit posts. Seriously, do yourself a favor and install it. I would venture to say as high as 95% of people who format well on this site use it.
U should edit \Interface\AddOns\GatherMate2_Data\HerbalismData.lua and then reimport ingame.
There is file with upd bl cords at EPL. Going to add another location later.
You can test with this script how much mp5 you’ll get, just enter your average cast times, spirit and mana gain per spirit. It’ll even account for the 3 piece bonus. https://repl.it/repls/FragrantDarkvioletOptimization
https://repl.it/repls/FragrantDarkvioletOptimization
You can enter the values of your average cast time, spirit, and the formula for druid mp5 (spirit/5 + 15) to see if it's worth it. I entered my values, and found out it's a little worse than the shard of the scale for me.
They've done a bunch of really cool secret stuff in Legion requiring a bunch of people to figure out.

That would be the dream eventually but by the time you add multiple characters, multiple panels and backgrounds / props the time sink to make a comic grows exponentially so for now it's just memes so I still have some time to play wow after drawing and work.
If nothing else, my lettering is a long way from comic quality :P
This site should have all of my comics going forward if that's what you're after.
It'll have everything in higher quality than my Twitter (the scans, that is, not the artwork).
This site should have all of my comics going forward if that's what you're after just in case they don't blow up enough to be seen on the subreddit :P

I use this, pretty cute and I found this was one of the only fonts I could bear read in chat, all the other traditional straight ones were hard to read https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Patrick+Hand
I use Doris PP and Myriad Pro also, and BlackChancery for letters
Clearly you're just "trolling the Linux nerds", but hopefully others will see this and recognize that maybe, just maybe, using Windows 10 is a bad idea.

If you use AR to start up your rotation smoother (I believe this is more of a thing with daggers? I play swords, so I don't have to) then you can time Thistle Tea with Crusader instead, for the same reason. Or you could use Tea for rotational purposes, freeing up AR for Crusader timing.
Your guild doesn't seem super-hardcore, so I don't know how sweaty you want to get about optimizing your DPS. Unless your warriors (and to a lesser extent the rest of your DPS) improve significantly, you'll probably never be 99 parsing due to high boss kill times. If you want to get more in-depth, feel free to PM me - I'm hardly a top 100 world rogue but I can put up 99s and I like to think I have a clue. Also, a lot of good information and discussion compiled by the sweatiest of sweaty rogues can be found here: https://discord.com/invite/mkfKCBB
I have this one and it will run 1-3 clients at 60 FPS with no major issues.
Yes, I'm running on Linux for years (both Classic and retail), it works out of the box with Lutris.
There are some requirements you have to install first, if you tell us what distro you're using maybe we can help you.
I am running both retail and classic on linux without issues, at first i attempted to just set up wine manually but struggled a lot, using Lutris and installing it through that solved all problems
After installing and running Lutris, go here and click install: https://lutris.net/games/world-of-warcraft/, the rest should go pretty automatically, remember to select 64 bit prefix as WoW needs it to run. You should now be able to run battlenet and install/run both WoW and Classic
It was from a poll, so im guessing its not bank alts

There was another with higher outcome but i cant find it, warriors were on 15% there
If you have not done this:
Run display driver uninstaller (google it, you can find it on guru3d) and wipe all the drivers for nvidia, then reinstall em. Some advice: download the drivers manually from the nvidia website beforehand, then run DDU WITHOUT internet so windows doesn't install it's own garbage drivers.
If this doesn't do the job, disable all start up programs (google how to.)
Ideally I'd like you to run WoW with hwmonitor: https://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html running to check max temps and post em here.
Just add me on this post when you have done all this with your results and I'll respond when I can, good luck.
friendly plug for https://getsharex.com/ you literally press 1 button and can have the settings saved so it not only screenshots but uploads it to your choice of img hoster AND copies the link in your clipboard. Don't ever tell me cell phone is easier.
Have you ever used the minimize feature of the chatframes?
You can lay the frames out wherever - minimize them, then drag the minimized frames wherever. When you un-minimize the frame will pop up back in its original position

You can use that to prove my point, if you’d like. The first number isn’t predetermined and must be rolled first, which is 1/100. The subsequent two rolls would be 1/10000, but you can’t just erase the first roll from having to occur.
You need to put an additional protection layer between the user and your servers, this layer has the capacity to analyze the traffic / prevent malicious activity (TCP SYN flood, NTP, ping of death, etc). For example you could purchase cloudfare's ddos protection service, and all the WoW servers would sit behind this layer.
I've watched this map in the past for a while, and it does look relatively the same but today there is a lot of traffic headed to California - more than I've seen in the past. It could just be a coincidence, but it's hard to know. There's quite a few of these threat maps from different companies, but it's a little harder to see the attacks as well as Fortinet shows them.
Fortinet is a big player in threat protection, so it wouldn't be surprising if Blizzard uses them.
You can read up more on ddos mitigation here, and these are likely the steps Blizzard is taking right now: https://www.cloudflare.com/learning/ddos/ddos-mitigation/
If I had to guess, they're in the fingerprinting process and trying to identify the types of packets coming in so they can drop them before they reach the servers.

Others have said it, but go to Interface in the menu and there should be an Action Bar tab. Check all the boxes that turn on the "ghost" bars. There should be one above the 1-0 default bar and two on the far right side of your screen stacked vertically. I usually put the situational/summon spells on the right side and don't even bother to bind them. I also only have one curse button that's usually curse of agony and then swap it with another curse for group scenarios. You can only have one going anyway.
Also not sure if you want to spend the money on this, but I use (this mouse)[Logitech G600 MMO Gaming Mouse, RGB Backlit, 20 Programmable Buttons https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0086UK7IQ/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_XD3X9TRYSM40HA7V1672] for extra keybinds. There's a Warcraft mode which binds to your numpad keys and gives you a LOT more freedom. Just make sure you don't have NumLock on after you auto walk haha.

I mean it was a full fledged Mobile game at one point with 20-30+ levels and a talent system. I think I'd consider that a complete product. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dmitryvolevodz.littlehealer&hl=en_US&gl=US
> Come on, again. The private servers were hosted in the basement of some guy. Blizzard is an industry giant. If you take that into consideration, the private server devs were on the fucking spot all the time.
Why does this come up every time, most if not all of the well knows pservers werent hosted in basements, they we hosted at professional hosting company's in professional datacentres. For example Nost was hosted at OVH ( https://www.ovh.com/world/ )
Even better, looks this this project aims to make it even easier:
https://bluemaxima.org/flashpoint/
From their FAQ it seems lots of games check to see if they are running on the site they were developed for, so wouldn't work on the standalone flash player, but it works around that
Not quite a single entity. Have you ever played agar.io? I'm the little blob trying to avoid the mass that the sheep keep fueling. This subreddit feeds into popular opinion regardless of the facts. I'm one of the few outliers who still cares about the truth in a world full of fake news and deceit.
A good example is the lie that Blizzard cut 800 CS employees last year. Every single time someone posts that lie, it gets a massive number of upvotes.

This allows you to 'copy' another window (let say chrome with Netflix) on top of everything. It allows to watch Netflix while playing the game with only one monitor.
