Perhaps you are thinking of arbitrage - a concept in which you find something for sale at one place that can be sold instantly at a higher price somewhere else.
Many people do this with stocks and currencies, but its very difficult. The easiest way would be to go to thrift stores, garage sales, and traditional box stores and look for items on sale that you can re-sell on Ebay / Amazon at a higher price. The item was shipped, tracking number entered on amazon and delivery confirmed. If it matters, it was an international transaction to Spain, if I recall correctly.
