I usually give up using their interface and check out the JustWatch app, so I can sort by RT ratings, new, etc. this cartoon is so accurate when you use theirs.

Not that you meant this literally, but I use JustWatch to figure out which movie/TV show is on which streaming platform.
Most of my friends have subscriptions to different streaming services and we just share the passwords with each other.

I use JustWatch because it also gives me the new releases on my particular streaming services, so I usually scroll through that and bookmark things I want to watch.

I use the app JustWatch. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.justwatch.justwatch Add all the streaming services you have, and put movies and series you want to see on your watchlist. Easy as that.
This doesn't entirely solve your problem, but I use this app to look up which streaming service has the movie/TV show I want to watch. It takes your country into consideration and pretty helpful if you have several subscriptions.

There's a app called JustWatch you can download where it should tell you what's available to watch in a specific country.
I'm not sure it's lesser known because it's got 1m downloads, but I just found it maybe a year ago?

Just watch. It's also a website. If you want to see a show or a movie and you don't know if it's on Netflix or Prime or Hulu or Cthulhu, you can just search that show on Just Watch and it will tell you where you can watch it.

It’s cross platform and an awesome app.
JustWatch is the way to go. You came across the best one IMO, and I've looked for and tried several. They have a nice site with direct links to rent, buy, or stream for free from each service on which a given show is available for. You can have it permanently return results from only the streaming providers you have/use, while filtering by release year, genre, and many others. They have nice Android and iOS apps as well. I use it all the time and really love it.

I haven't found one either, the only app similar is JustWatch.
Use JustWatch instead. IMDb is owned by Amazon so I imagine that's what you're only seeing Amazon as an option.

Really user friendly, and everything seems up-to-date. You can filter it to show what's new to Netflix/Hulu/hbo/etc,genres, imdb RT ratings, year released, male watch lists, etc etc etc,

Unfortunately for you, they have a leg up in the fact that they integrate 18 different streaming sites instead of 2.
