That's sounds a lot like having depression too which is a huge beast in and of itself. Deal with that myself too and it's a struggle to just be motivated to really even get out of bed. So I feel for the family friend.
I use Exercise Bands to help me drop weight. It can be done while sitting down comfortably and there are loads of exercise videos on YouTube (and DVDs) that show seated position workouts for folks like him and me.
Might also be wise to try finding other things that also interest him instead of feeling the need to eat to fill in the gaps. I know it's super tempting to just chow down on something, because it's easy and it's something to do that can be done easily for enjoyment.
I'm so sorry that you're going through this :( it really breaks my heart to hear, but I'm glad you have a partner that loves and supports you.
The comment about attachment theory reminded me of a book about adults of emotionally immature parents, which sounds like what they are from what you have described. I'm currently reading it myself and it's been a great eye-opener and later on it talks about how to heal from this. amazon link for the book
Hopefully this can help you come to terms that it's not your fault and you deserved to be love. It might be a long and hard journey to heal from the trauma but I know you will be able to achieve this and I'm rooting for you to find your happiness and the love you deserve!!! Sending you all the positive energies!
The Netflix administration actually came out and said they believe everyone from everywhere should be able to watch everything. I've been using a VPN on Netflix since the beginning, I use it almost every day, and I have NEVER had a problem with it. I know a LOT of people who do the same thing, and have never heard of somebody actually being banned from Netflix for any reason at all.
There are also a few websites you can use to watch TV shows - www.thedarewall.tv etc, if you want to anonymously browse these websites, you can use a VPN, or, an easier option you could download the Tor browser, which will never show your IP Address. https://www.torproject.org - Copyright laws are bullshit.
This article will make you feel better Its not your fault man. I'm also 25 and I have experienced the same bullshit that you're experiencing now. The problem starts with baby boomers - who will literally work until the day they die. By not retiring they are clogging up middle management with the gen-Xers who are trying to move up the ladder. Because of this fact we have many overly qualified individuals applying for jobs that would normally be reserved for our generation. But baby boomers being the snot-nosed corporate suckheads that they are, think this is totally awesome for them! They get to hire over qualified people and then underpay them. So. Short answer is - we're fucked for another 10-15 years.
I get why ads are important (for financing stuff) but tbh adblocking for me is actually helping the advertisers as I boycott companies with annoying ads and most of them are annoying. Especially sponsor segments on YouTube are inherently annoying and as I can only skip but not block them (and there's no way around like YT premium) I'm 100% sure that if I ever need a website (apart from it being my job) I wouldn't go to squarespace, if I ever need a VPN I wouldn't go to NordVPN and if I'm ever bored and think "what could I play on my phone?" it would be anything but Raid Shadow Legends.
You just described a textbook case of antisocial personality disorder. You're right, he's gonna make someone's skin into a suit sooner or later.
I suggest using SponsorBlock. It's a browser extension that automatically skips user-submitted segments in videos. There are segments categories: Sponsor, Intermission/Intro Animation, Endcards/Credits, Interaction Reminder (Subscribe), Unpaid/Self Promotion, Non-Music Section in music videos. For each segment type, you can choose to skip it automatically or manually. It's a life changer!
I believe Brave prevents autoplay.
I don't recall if it also stops ads but the link is up there if you want to use something Chromium based and is a decent browser.
The problem with modern day feminism is there's a lot of radical feminists who straight up hate men.
The regular ones remain silent about them and the result is that you let the crazy ones define modern day feminism which is why a lot of people oppose it nowadays.
Complaining about "toxic masculinity" because a "man is too loud on the bus" isn't a fight for equality. I encounter plenty of loud women too. It's not a man's thing.
Saying any man who criticises or jokes about a woman is "sexist" isn't fighting for equality either. You're telling me women don't joke about men or criticise men?
My favourite? A feminist party in Sweden who wanted to make it illegal for men in their local council to stand up when pissing.

How is crap like that fighting for female equality?
My favourite Android app for that is this one, but there are others as well.
It's because you are human hon. Just try to relax first. Your mind is going in panic overdrive which causes your adrenal glands to produce more cortisol that what it's suppose to. Sit down for a little while and remember your breathing techniques. You HAVE TO remember that this is only temporarily.
I've posted this before in r/anxiety but I'll post it again. If you have android, please listen to this guided meditation It helped me so much.
You just to get yourself grounded for now. Just know that as frustrating, irritating and annoying this is, you are NOT alone.
I completely understand how you feel.
Good luck hon. Hope you feel better very soon. hugs
Bummer that this happened.

Try that for any PC game you're interested in. It has saved me on a few occasions -- found out my system can't handle Cities: Skylines and GTA5 with this before buying.
How long have you been drawing? Have you taken any classes? Some books that people have recommended are Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain and You Can Draw in 30 Days. I've also read that when you start out just tracing images can help. I think one of the best things you can do is keep a sketchbook and try to draw something everyday. When you look back you'll see an improvement and that can motivate you to keep going.
>They. Are. Working. Dogs.
"there ain't no rule a dog can't run a mcdonalds."
>They are meant to be in herding cattle.
that's sort confusing ability and purpose. they can heard cattle, but it isn't the destiny of every cute lil doggo.
>Their small legs aren't cute
sure, but they are.
>Pugs aren't cute.
>They are animals, not stuffed animals.
pets are sort of a cross between the two. animals, but not wild animals. cute, but not inanimate.
stay positive.

People have been attacking Hillary for over 20 years. There's nothing Trump could do that could do any more damage.
It seems you had very awful experiences.
But i have a question: Why do you attribute that to them being trans?
This is different than the "I don't hate Muslims or blacks or Mexicans - even though I know shitty people who happen to be Muslim, black, or Mexican" you mention, i ask why do you associate their shitty-ness as a person to being trans.
You haven't really expanded on that which makes sound weird.
That's like me saying "i met an asthmatic person that was at chess therefore now i think all asthmatic people suck at chess".
That's a totally unrelated trait being associated with being a bad chess player.
All transgender people share is 1 thing: Being born with gender identity disorder.
Nothing more.
Some are conservative.
Some are liberal.
Some are republican.
Some are democrat.
Some are soccer fans.
Some are basketball fans.
Some are shy.
Some are outgoing.
You are taking a myriad of people, very very different people from all the world and generalizing them as shitty, all because they share a unrelated trait to being shitty: being trans.
It makes me think you are not seeing transgender people as....people, and just focus on their transgender condition to judge them.
Hate to niptick on a rant thread but i have to mention this:
>and feel a deep connection to people who've experienced being both genders.
Transgender people do not experience being both genders.
They experience being born in the wrong sex.
That really stinks. But it could be worse, they could have gotten the tourniquet too tight during your surgery and develop a DVT.
https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/deep-vein-thrombosis/symptoms-causes/syc-20352557
So ...youve got that going for you!
Feel better!
I go to community college as well, and when I first went there I honestly felt the same pain you did. My first professor was super shy and the class ignored him, but when the first month passed more than half the class stopped showing up. By the end of the semester my class of 25 became a class of 13. One good thing about this was that everyone who was there by the end actually gave a shit about it and the teacher began to open up to us. After this found out about RatemyProfessor.com. It was a huge game changer. It helped me filter out the weaker teachers and find ones who were passionate about what they do. I recommend finding the good ones before registration and making out your schedule before then as well. The day that registration starts get up early and sign up. It will be super worth it because most of the classes with the good teachers become full very fast. You might want to check RatemyProfessor soon and see if there are better teachers. See if you can get in their classes and drop your current professor, but only do this if your school has an early drop add deadline. Best of luck! (here is the link for Rate My Professor)
Edit- HAPPY BIRTHDAY OP!
Hey man, you aren't alone in your hatred of math. I hope your rant helped. But I also hope you find it in you to give math more of a chance.
The unfortunate truth is that it's very hard to see the value in doing basic algebra like that until years later, when you'll wish you'd internalized it now. It doesn't help that a lot of textbook word problems are soulless and contrived to force students to "apply" math to situations in which no sane person would ever apply math.
If you don't become fluent with expanding brackets, you're not going to be able to consider anything involving physics, engineering, or computer science, let alone math. And maybe that's ok for you. Maybe you already know that you want to devote your life to studying history, or political science, or shoot for law school, or pursue any of a bunch of careers that do not require you to expand brackets.
Whether you're bored or just don't get it, maybe playing with the graphs of expressions will spark your interest. I highly, highly recommend the Desmos online graphing calulator: https://www.desmos.com/calculator
Type "y = mx + b" into the left-hand formula box. It'll automatically offer you buttons to add sliders that control the values of m and b. Fucking around in Desmos over a semester taught me more than any of my high school math classes did.
As another motivator, I give you this nugget of truth that few teachers feel comfortable giving to their students: http://smbc-comics.com/index.php?db=comics&id=1701#comic
EDIT: I should also mention that /r/homeworkhelp is often (not always, but often) helpful if you get stuck on a specific question and don't know where to turn.
I had all those records (and a bootleg or two) back in the late 90s. I got into him right after he died, I believe through a posthumous tribute in the liner notes of the second or third Tool record. There's a pretty good book on him from about twenty years ago, and my Amazon search turned up another couple that look good.
This sounds like "depersonalization disorder," which is not all that uncommon, really, although you may have a fairly severe case. Talk therapy may help. Have you had a traumatic experience? That kind of thing can cause it. I occasionally have feelings of unreality too, like "am I really here? Why is everything so far away?" I found a book about it on Amazon, although I haven't read it. Good luck.
It is annoying, but we can’t change the laws in different countries.
VPNs are fairly cheap tho. I use ExpressVPN and pay $12 a month to access all my streaming services. Never once had an issue with them. Obviously not ideal to have to pay a little more, but it works. And it’s actually kind of cool because I can also access Netflix UK and stuff, which has different shows and movies.
Get a user agent switcher add on and some US based proxies if that fails. I like FoxyProxy, myself, but I use Firefox, . You have optionts.
User Agent switcher to pose as a Google Web crawler, since many sites still want to be listed on search results.
Is the box (router) in the basement by any chance? Basements have thick walls with lots of reinforcing materials so it can be hard for a signal to get through. Perhaps you can place it upstairs since that's where it gets the most use?
Or if you live in an apartment (high rise?) you probably have lots of WiFi signals competing in close proximity with yours. There's an app for your phone called WiFi Analyzer that can help you determine if this is the case. In this situation, I'm afraid you'll simply have to find a way to amplify your own WiFi signal which means investing in a more powerful router.
And finally you can always go wired. As in use an ethernet cable. I guarantee that you will get consistent speeds wherever you are in the house. Of course the downside with this is you have to run a physical line from the router to wherever you are.
So now it's not just feminists you hate it's anyone non heterosexual too.
Number 12 of the 14 features of fascism
"Machismo and weaponry. “Machismo implies both disdain for women and intolerance and condemnation of nonstandard sexual habits, from chastity to homosexuality.”
This page gives you a bare essentials of what you need to know. There isn't a lot to add to that, but if you have any questions I'll be happy to have a crack at helping.
What is causing the deterioration? Do you have a drinking problem? (I ask that because of your user name.) If it's not alcohol, then what do you think is causing it?
You also wrote "isolation". Look, it's really, really hard to make new friends. So don't be yourself up if you don't have. People suck. People are backstabbers. And the cool people always end up moving away. Even if you don't have any friends, have you checked out meetup.com? It's a website where people with common interests get together to just hang out and chat. It's unlikely you'll make any friends for me, but it's still good to be out and about.
I hope your mental health improves. You have to proactive though. Are you exercising at least 30 minutes a day?
Hmm. Are you sure this is the right post title? It seems like there might be a reason for the old friend turning on you. I know you did say it could all be in your head. I'm just messing with this first paragraph, as in, it's just friendly banter.
It's really hard to make friends these days. Have you tried posting on the friends subreddits? There are two of them on reddit. Either way, it is still going to be really hard for a new friendship to develop. You should also check out meetup.com to see if you can people who share common interests as you.
"I know it's a stupid thing to be upset over."
No, it isn't stupid at all. People do this all the time. They do drugs or drink alcohol, and they have a good time at someone else's expense. Was your friend talking about rumors about you directly? Or rumors about other people? Was your friend trying to get you to say bad stuff about other people? I would have to look at the conversation to say more, but it sounds like your friend's good night might have come at your expense.
"I feel like a complete loser."
Hey, look, what matters is what you do with yourself. If you sit at home, and watch tv all night long, and don't exercise, and such, then yeah, that would make you a loser. But if you are focused on your long-term success, like finding a career that you would love to wake up for, then it doesn't matter if you have any friends right now. Friends will find you if you stay focused on your own success.
I know how tough it is though. But really, even if you don't make any friends from it, you should check out meetup.com so that you get out and have social interaction.
How would your parents know? If your parents want you to have friends, so that you get out of the house, then just go out of the house and say that you are going out with friends. Honestly, don't dick people around. If you really aren't interested in their friendship, let them know.
You can also use the website meetup.com and other strictly platonic platforms to find new friends in your area. This might work out particularly well for you because new friendships don't carry the same expectations as established friendships.
Montana. http://www.indeed.com/m/jobs?q=GIS&l=Montana looks like the City of Butte is hiring at about $22 an hour. That is good pay for the low cost of living there. It isn't the most fun city to live in, but if you enjoy outdoor activities at all it is centrally located. Plus if you want to pursue a higher education, MontanaTech is a good engineering college.
Oh, and "nice" women started using makeup in the early 20th Century. https://www.webmd.com/beauty/history-makeup
Corsets were mostly to keep women restrained. You can't breathe, you faint all the time, you can't run, you're in constant pain.
I'd say the use of extreme cosmetic surgery makes us a lot worse, and shows how stupid women can be.
The biggest reason this happens is that people use weak or reused passwords that were in a security breach. You might want to check yours and your husband emails at https://haveibeenpwned.com/ to see if you've been in any breaches. Also, don't reuse passwords; every account no matter how unimportant it gets a strong password. This is easy if you get a password manager.
What you're looking for is a password manager.
Stop worrying about what the rules are and just let the password manager generate a strong password for you. The only password you should remember or care about from now on is the master password for your password manager.
The reason why they do picky passwords is because so many people use the same password which is often in a breach. Even for the accounts you don't care a lot of idiots will use the same weak password for Reddit as they would PayPal or their bank. Just take a look at https://haveibeenpwned.com/ to see how many times you've been in a breach.
Get yourself KeePassXC or Bitwarden, it will make your life so much easier.
https://redditenhancementsuite.com/ It's a browser extension that you can download and install. My favorite feature: it allows you to tag users with whatever name or description you like. Only you will see the tags you assign to people.
Got a pc thats on all the time? Or pretty much any single board computer try this
Its DNS level ad blocking so most sites dont see it it works great, ai think there are some servers that are publicly available set up with this as their DNS software or something similar, just change the peimary DNS on your router or pc to the IP address
A quick search for the tag shoplifting on tumblr Other tags to check out by the looks of it are liftinghaul and lift shopping. I wanted to see if this was real and holy shit it is and worse than I could have imagined.
EDIT: Removed a link to something I'm not entirely sure was legit. Another tag to check would be five finger discount. This article is good too
Holy fuck they DO have exist!
I need one in my life. There's even tutorials for making them. I'd need a square one though for my fancy icecream though.
I love you for this idea.
Regal cinemas are owned and operated by a single entity called the Regal Entertainment Group. It is a single company (not independently owned franchises), and whether you are working in a theater, at the HQ, in marketing, or moving from one location to another, you are still working for the same company. It is not legal for them to circumvent the Family and Medical Leave Act - FMLA. I am not a lawyer, but I am in business. My advice to you is: Contact a lawyer. Most lawyers will take something like this on a contingency, but you'll be forced to part with 1 of the 3 months labor. Not good unless he/she tries to collect for punitive damages (not so easy). So if you have a friend or family who is a lawyer, consider hitting them up for this one.
If you want to try it yourself, write them a professional sounding letter advising them of your rights as stated in the FMLA. Spell it out so that they are aware that you are clear with your rights and will be taking action. It should include a subtle threat that if this isn't resolved quickly and satisfactorily that you will be taking it to a lawyer (who has assured you that he could also collect punitive damages). Explain to them the difficulty your family is having providing for your new child, etc. There is the chance the company will retaliate, which could be very difficult for you to recover with them. Your best move is to tap a lawyer for advice. Good luck.
>Because of SR half my family think I'm some kind of tech God.
SR and ninite.com actually got me a pay raise at my last job. It meant doing all of the IT work in the small office I managed, but the extra $2/hr was well worth it.
Exactly. They out here thinking Im about spend 7 hours on a computer and 4+ more hours on homework. Last year was trash (at least for me) but this year is just shit.
And Idk why teachers think aleks is a good website. Im not joking, some kid literally stuck a pencil through a chromebook 2 years ago because ALEKS fucked him over. (I laughed and got detention). Like read these reviews. Some of them are hilarious, but some of them are kind of sad to read. https://www.sitejabber.com/reviews/aleks.com
> soul-crushing anxiety and fear
I know this feeling. But there are a few reasons why you don't need to worry.
1) People get jobs all the time. I worked at In-N-Out as a teenager, and they would hire anyone, even people with criminal records. You sound pretty stable. You'll find a job.
2) Shit happens. Everyone's been through something like this, everyone gets around it eventually. Hell, my dad (who had three kids at the time) was unemployed for a year-and-a-half, and now my family's really well off. Stuff like this happens. We figure it out.
If the anxiety's really getting to you, try exercising, or meditating. I really like Headspace's free trial. Very relaxing.
Games like that have existed for years, it's pretty comical. I enjoy making bots for games so they play themselves, it gives me an edge, frees up time to do other things and I can check up on it now and then to see any juicy loots I may have found. I'd never pay money for a game that plays itself like what you're describing.
Have a giggle at this http://progressquest.com/play/
Lol, don't blame windows because you don't know what you're doing. Learn to use google for pete's sake.
Here, Grab the latest version of K-Lite Codec pack (full). And pay attention to which download button you hit.
Happy ChrismaQwanzaHannuka and a Jolly New Solar Rotation!
I tell people all the time if they want to make six figures, just start learning how to be a full stack developer. There is even free web site that are interactive and you can learn as you go. Almost gamification. For example - https://www.freecodecamp.org/ - I've donated to them because they do such good for people world wide. But people would rather post to /r/rant that life sucks and it's all an SJW's fault.
something like this?
You'd hate this timer https://www.amazon.com/OXO-Good-Grips-Triple-Timer/dp/B001CDK0MM. It'll keep ringing for almost 8 minutes if you don't hit the off button, which sucks if you're busy in another room.
Sure they do, Hickory Farms.
**No drinks included cuz selling alcohol has more licensing.
>That being said I would really like the pixel 4a with copperhead OS installed. If someone can confirm my necessary features for my I will 100% consider it.
CopperheadOS doesn't support the Pixel 4a, it's a closed-source, and almost certainly illegal, fork of Android based on CyanogenMod.
Stick with straight LineageOS. The Pixel 4 and 4 XL are currently supported but not the 4a.
>1. It must have disc encryption that USES A DIFFERENT PASSWORD THAN THE PIN/LOGIN PASSWORD
Not happening. Android isn't set up that way for whole disc encryption.
What you CAN do is use a separate encrypted data store.
>2. It must be 100% google free
That's easy., but you're probably going to really want that Google Camera app.
>3. Apps must be 100% sandboxed
That's impossible. Android security doesn't really work that way. You have to be careful with app permissions you set. There IS sandboxing on Android, but a lot of apps will have limited functionality (anything that uses the Internet).
>4. Software must be 100% google or other spyware free
Also easy.
>5. There must be updates
LineageOS DOES have updates, just don't hold your breath.
Hey, if sweating is the real issue with some jobs, sweat pads aren't super popular anymore but they do still exist and will probably help some: https://www.amazon.com/Underarm-Premium-Hyperhidrosis-Comfortable-Protection/dp/B07SM9PVVJ/ref=sr_1_3_sspa?dchild=1&keywords=sweat+pads&qid=1594583262&sr=8-3-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUEyRldNSUtGMVdXSUZCJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwOTEwMTEyMlJFS0JZRVBKNTQ4QSZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwNjAxOTExM0NBNVRKSlM3Mk84WiZ3aWRnZXROYW1lPXNwX2F0ZiZhY3Rpb249Y2xpY2tSZWRpcmVjdCZkb05vdExvZ0NsaWNrPXRydWU=
I got an electric bug zapper from Amazon.
Last year I was MISERABLE in the fruit flies. It about drove me insane.
This year I got this, along with some commercial fruit fly traps, and while they aren’t gone, they are definitely contained and managed.
I have a stock pot on my counter with an Apple cut in half, some yogurt, corn cob, and a couple other things that attract them. I lay the bug zapper over the stock pot, like a lid. I kill dozens ever hour.
This bastard is LOUD when it zaps a fruit fly. I like to pretend it sends the fruit flies back to 1955. I actually caught it on camera sending one back to the future.
Kind of an expensive solution, but it definitely works.
Hey man/lady, it's people like you the Earth needs right now.
You have an awareness and passion for the environment, why not use it? Show people how to reduce plastic use, tell them about the damage it causes, write to politicians and businesses; don't waste your anger.
Channel your anger into a cause - be the change you want to see in the world.
I saw an injustice recently (a mentally ill man kicked out of his government home) and I got angry. So I wrote to the minister of housing. You might think it's pointless, but I kept agitating. Anyways, a few weeks later I got a reply, and saw the man had been given back his apartment. Did I (and others who wrote) influence the outcome? Who knows. It's not a world changer, but it changed his world.
Also, read "Man's Search for Meaning" by Viktor Frankl. It is very insightful about suffering and the different outcomes from the choices we make. I highly recommend it.
Keep fighting the good fight.
Read So Good They Can't Ignore You by Cal Newport. It's a quick easy read and cuts through all the feel good bullshit society likes to throw around and gives great insight on how to get into a career you enjoy. Also finish up that ged. That will most immediately open up a lot of options.
I'm so sorry you are going through this.
I can sympathize. I had monstrous period pain and doctors act like you're crazy. Later in life, I also have a chronic pain condition.
When you have pain like that and no real way to get relief, it can actually make the pain seem worse.
I actually got to go to a pain management program where they taught us different ways to deal with pain beyond medication (because medication alone often won't do the trick).
I find that a heating pad on my lower back or abdomen is a life saver for period pain. Use the highest setting you can stand. When you can't be home, you can use those Thermacare wraps. I actually use the one made for back pain rather than the one made for period pain. It's bigger and I think it works better.
Anything else that you can use to distract yourself from the pain is also good. An electric massager on your lower back, a television show, meditation (if possible) are all good.
I also recommend a book called "Full Catastrophe Living" by Jon Kabat-Zinn. It is about dealing with all kinds of stress including chronic pain. It has some great advice about different types of meditation and it's use in dealing with stress and pain.
I have to be honest, I've never been a fan of meditation, but this book made it easy.
Good luck and I hope you feel better soon.
You're welcome!
Now, take what you just wrote, and condense it down to a list. Things I Have Direct Control Over, Things I Have Indirect Control Over, Things I Can't Control.
Forget setting goals, or steps... Just fix one thing from one list. Or work on complementary problems at the same time. If you can solve one, the others may become easier.
It may take time but in my not entirely different circumstances, picking ONE thing to fix at a time really helped.
Completely random, but when I started figuring this stuff out, I remember reading two books; A Book of Five Rings, and The Art of War. If I had to pick a single reason why, I'd have to say they taught me to kind of watch myself from a distance, figure out where my problems were coming from, and figuring a way to beneficially solve those problems.
The ideal channel is the one least populated by other wireless networks. There's usually an option to change it in your router's settings page.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.farproc.wifi.analyzer&hl=en_GB This one I use.
Not bringing dogs inside during a cat 4 hurricane is animal abuse. You could probably report her to the police or ASPCA. It may be the wake up call she needs to realise she's not just being an asshole but actually committing a crime.
"Senate Bill 1738, will make leaving a dog tied up unattended outside during a manmade or natural disaster an act of animal cruelty, a first-degree misdemeanor in Florida."
no. He speedran making it. using s c r a t c h https://scratch.mit.edu/ its on the Play Store. But i use scratch because some games are better than mobile games! Just use keyboard and mouse and call it cool. No the most best way to play (no offline) So I go in the editior of the game and make cloud saves and export as a sb3 file and use the scratch APP to play offline.
If you don't mind not seeing other ads, do yourself a favor and download an adblock addon like Adblock Plus for example.
If you're watching on a mobile device then google search for Youtube vanced app and get it.
I miss old Youtube. New youtube is way too greedy and truly sucks, imo.

Get one of these babies - opens jars, bottle caps, those irritating plastic bottle lids, nuisance tins when the pull comes off. You name it, this opens it.
I've had one for years, but recently bought my elderly mother one. She loves it too!
There is a way.
I don't know if I am supposed to post links to items for sale, but hopefully this is ok. We bought it for my mom after she retired and her arthritis made jars all but impossible to open. She swears by it.

This is an awesome comment, and it's really not offensive at all. I basically invited questions by posting this and I'm totally fine with that.
My job is in accessibility testing, which usually means making sure websites, apps, and other content conform to accessibility guidelines that make it usable by everyone. So it requires I have a good working knowledge of screen-readers and accessibility standards. I also have some background in web design and have done programming on my spare time, which helps a lot.
I know a lot of people use VS Code but I personally just code in a regular notepad. I can set the exact punctuation that gets spoken as I arrow around, and usually if something breaks i'm familiar enough with the code to know roughly where it is (especially with nice high-level languages that give me line numbers, such as Python,) so I can easily figure out how to fix it. I don't have a good solution to things like syntax highlighting or code skimming, but for now that's not a problem. If I know I need to get back somewhere, I often just use page up/down or hold down arrow keys to get there, but will sometimes use the find command and look for a specific piece of code. And for Reddit, I use the save button a lot or go through my own history to find things I"ve commented on, just like anyone else browsing heavily.
I don't really know how I would communicate with someone who is deaf (let alone deaf/blind) without the help of technology; we would probably end up just texting each other. There are Braille devices that show the text spoken by screen-readers, so it's certainly possible.
I don't really care how insensitive questions are. Half the "blind people" search results are "How do blind people know when to stop wiping?" (It took me a really long time to find out that people use their eyes for this; to me it's obvious.) I think anyone at or below that level is acceptable. I'd rather someone ask than keep quiet.
I've never had a need or desire to watch YouTube on my TV so I can't say I've used it myself, though. You could also just use another device and a HDMI cable, or a Chromecast or something?

1 Review the criteria for independent students on the FAFSA online form. An applicant is automatically considered to be independent if he is in any of the following categories: enrolling in a graduate program such as for master's or doctoral degrees; has a legal dependent, typically a child; is married; is orphaned; was a ward of the state until the age of 18; is over the age of 24; is a military veteran; was in foster care after the age of 13; is an emancipated minor; or is homeless. If the applicant is in any of those categories, he should check the "independent student" option on the FAFSA and list her own tax information on the form. Otherwise, the applicant should select "dependent student" and list parental tax information. Submit the form.
2 Contact the college or university to which the FAFSA will be forwarded and request a Dependency Override Form. This allows the institution to overlook the parental information given on the FAFSA due to extenuating circumstances that result in the student not receiving financial support for education from his family.
3 Submit the Dependency Override Form to the college or university, along with third-party documentation from an authoritative person outside of the family who can attest to the extenuating circumstances prohibiting parental financial involvement in the applicant's education. These letters are typically composed by social workers, psychologists or clergy.

My boyfriend and I both have not gotten sick in years, and we have been sick 3 times in the past couple of months. I am sick right now. I have seen a lot of people wearing masks lately. It is possible that we are having a flu breakout here, or maybe they sent the masks to China. Who knows? EDIT- Check out this link about the flu outbreak this year in the US. https://weather.com/health/cold-flu/news/2020-01-28-flu-more-deadly-than-coronavirus
While the reason for the requirements are flawed, they do stop people from using idiotic passwords that could be guessed by hand. It may not be as secure as they claim it to be but it does make it safer. The main thing it protects from are dictionary based password attacks. This is where the cracker runs through a list of every common word used throughout the internet, like potato or megalovania, and mashes them with every other word until it gets the right combination. Adding symbols, capitals and numbers slows down the time of the crack and can even fully stop an attack from succeeding. (Fun Fact: Urban Dictionary and Know Your Meme are great places to get up to date word lists)
The best advice I can think of is check your password against have I been pwned. This is a website that tracks password breaches and will tell you how many times your password has come up. Make a password that should cover most of those annoying checklists and make sure it hasn't been pwned and you'll be fine.
1 hour to download the updates, killing my bandwidth so badly that I couldn't even imgur, and 2 updates failed.
I don't care any more. I'll just block the updates in my firewall.

Fuck this crap, Microsoft. Fuck this crap.
Oh, look! Another beer!
Hilarious! But if you really want to solve this issue, I strongly recommend getting a gentle lead harness.
My friend got one of these because her doggo will pull so hard on regular leashes, that he chokes himself. A gentle lead is designed to operate only around the upper head and muzzle and uses the dog’s own torque against them. It also gives you control of the front of his snout, which will allow much much much more control, as a dog isn’t about to keep running when their head is forced to turn.
100% safe, too (:
Don't tell yourself that. Millions of people quit, and nicotine withdrawl is really minimal. This book can help:

if you want to whiten your teeth you can super easily diy tooth whitener for less than 10$ bucks, you just have to be careful. this 9$ light and a bottle of hydrogen peroxide is all you need. all the fancy teeth whitening kits are basically just this but the HP is mixed with other stuff to make it easy to apply on teeth. just swish the peroxide, spit, and put the light in for like 5 minutes every other day. its a slow process but if you keep on it theyll whiten. just be careful about burning your gums and tongue by leaving the peroxide in too long or doing it every day.
You need a shoulder heating pad like this one*, a lacrosse ball to last on for your back and shoulder blade muscles, and a thera-cane, for the tops of your shoulders. Use the heating pad first to make the muscles malleable, then apply a lot of pressure. If you have someone close have them use an elbow, frequent quick massages will do more than long infrequent ones.
Throughout the day at work, like every half hour or so roll your shoulders forward and backwards and stretch your head right and left.
These won't fix your isle 100%, but if everything helps 10% and you do 6 different things (new chair, heating pad, stretches, rolling, physical therapy, breaks) then your problem is a lot more tolerable than it used to be. I also have fibromyalgia and these things are lifesavers.

Sounds like a fix in your case.
This has pepper spray and a stun gun, not sure about legality in your area, but I can get this.

There is a book called The Four Agreements
It basically says, don't take anything personally and everything someone says is really about them, not about you.
an insult or even a compliment you are not to take personally - its all a reflection of them.
once you realize this and stop taking things personal - things seem to get easier.
Just make sure to watch your cats behavior with them. They can sometimes irritate their claws if they aren't able to retract them. But every cat is different and some dont even bother to retract their claws.
I’ve always had a flaky scalp and I hate it too! I’ve tried a lot of things but this scalp massager has made a huge difference! I use it every time I wash my hair.
You could always try setting a static IP address for your iPhone on their router. You have to be careful when doing so, but it can be done easily.
Here's an article explaining how to assign a static IP on your phone:
http://osxdaily.com/2012/05/19/manual-dhcp-static-ip-address-ios/
You may need to make a DHCP reservation on the router as well, but that will depend solely on the network size/router model.

Might be better.
I'll admit I'm an Old, but I still prefer cookbooks to recipe blogs and physical versions to e-books.
Nice to have something to prop open and not get too concerned with if something drips on it
People can also die from an allergic reaction to milk. It can cause a tightening of the airways that blocks breathing. It's the third most common allergy to cause anaphylaxis, after peanuts and treenuts.

> Reddit is like one of the most toxic places in the internet
> they try to rue the day.
i don't think that's what you meant by that idiom.
Exactly. People seem to not understand the very broad definition of the word judgement.
> an opinion or decision that is based on careful thought
http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/judgment
> the ability to judge, make a decision, or form an opinion objectively, authoritatively, and wisely, especially in matters affecting action; good sense; discretion.
http://www.dictionary.com/browse/judgment
The word judgement has become politically correct as if a synonym changes what they meant.
I love when people say I am not judging I am using my discernment, wisdom, common sense etc.
It's still your fault. That suspicious activity was a credential stuffing attack that Reddit was experiencing. This only affected accounts with weak or reused passwords because they were found in a breach. The "bad guys" were trying a ton of passwords to many accounts to get in and some were successful. Reddit saw this and made all the accounts affected change there password.
You used a weak password and you should stop doing that. Check out https://haveibeenpwned.com/ to see what breaches you're in and get your self a password manager and have it make unique strong passwords for every account no matter how unimportant you think it is.
Do what I did. You need to get the link to the correct download from the adblockplus.org website, NOT do a search for it in the google playstore - get the adblock browser for your phone. Free and stops the ads. If you try to get it right from the play store via doing a search for it there, there are MANY hacked versions of the adblock browser that will steal your info and most likely you will install a hacked version.
You can try browsing by Brave Browser.....
No ads and trackers! You are also able to watch YouTube without ads.
You can download here https://brave.com/yoj493 (my personal referral) and give it a try. I think you will like.
All good! I ordered and received these just a few days ago. Just make sure to select the "sweatpants" option, of course. They do have a drawstring at the waist, and have the cuffed bottoms.
These ones I haven't ordered, but they have open (not elastic) bottoms on the legs. Drawstring too!
Both have pockets, as seemingly all men's pants do. Just another reason I buy them lol.

TIL that you really can buy literally anything from Amazon these days.
Wisdom: Get a cheap CANON laser printer. Why CANON? Because CANON allows third party vendors to make replacement cartridges.
I run a business and print thousands of bar code stickers and hundreds of shipping labels each year. My "ink" cost - about $10 a year. I only use about one cartridge a year - they last forever.
Proof: Here are four replacement Toner Cartridges for a CANON. My price (Amazon Business Price) $36.49! (I'm not sure if you will see the business price since I have a business account). I get free shipping too.
It is getting excesive, and not just youtube, I also hate this reddit app, also full of ads, soon we will even get ads on our sleeps just like in futurama, I feel like they wint stop, cause despite all the milions that daily complaint about ads on different platforms, they are still making money from it, as long as they can keep exploiting it, it wont ever stop.
My solution for you and that is what finally did work for me, is Vanced https://vancedapp.com/ , be aware though that its not 100% no ads, at least in my case I still have some apps within the app (the app not the videos, so far, not even one single ad in my videos, the ads I do get are when switching tabs and are basically about going premium and shit) but is way way lot less than on youtube.
TL;DR, good rant, but I doubt they will stop, as long as they can keep milking it it wont stop, instead, get vanced or an ad blocker
You most likely already downloaded it but here's the link to their official site in case anyone else wants to try it.
Just remember you'll have to enable installing from unknown sources in your security settings.
Good gods that's awfully tactless. This article has some pretty good advice when someone goes out of their way online to make an ass out of themselves.
My personal favourites are "always give them an out" and "studied carelessness." Works surprisingly well.
I do use a site called privacy.com. They allow you to create digital cards tied to your bank account. You can add "limits" to what a biller can charge you, and deactivate at anytime.

So in this case you can say the merchant netflix can only charge (whatever netflix costs these days". So they see you have the "needed amount" for charge, and then you can just deactivate when you are done signing up.
