Worked with leather my whole life and the "grades" you've referenced are probably the biggest myth perpetrated on consumers in my industry. The tannery where a leather is made has much more to do with quality than "full grain or top grain"...and Genuine is used by some quality manufacturers (Red Wing Heritage is one) to describe really good "full grain leather" and you can also buy really junky full grain, if you're not careful.
Piece of shit. He didn't even understand survival rates. Dude was getting his news from a site hosted on WordPress.com. I can't believe how much they believe BS that they see on FaceBook. My mother tried to tell me that this random gynecologist with no virology training and no background in vaccine development was qualified to speak out against the vaccine because it "rewrites your DNA" simply because she saw it online. "How else would she be able to get this info online if it weren't true?!?!" That's seriously her justification.
I'm a web developer. I could literally put anything online if I wanted to. Speaking of.....I may have to eventually add my fucking parents to the subreddit.
Don't forget to report them to WordPress also.
They're violating the same privacy policy on WordPress that GoDaddy booted them for. Specifically, WordPress Terms of Service, section 7, under the provision that a website "Will not disclose the personal information of others;".
Keep at it.
The more of their technical services that drop them require significantly more work for them to get back online.

Also report them to WordFence for violating their terms of service that says any "otherwise unlawful or offensive; or to harass or otherwise harm any other person or entity. " can result in loss of service.

Complete horseshit...I have been maintaining an unbiased election blog mocking Nate Plastic and boys. I have reviewed every house race and poll this election cycle and coupled that with historical result data. Currently Repubs hold house 225-210 https://wordpress.com/view/nategoldpredicts.wordpress.com

This is perfectly normal. Most webshops in Belgium are absolute shit. And many companies don't have an actual shop, just a website. At the start of the first lockdown I got into an argument with a bicycle shop owner who complained about being closed (fair enough) after I had said that if in 2020 you don't have a webshop, your business probably deserves to die.
Yes it was perhaps not a nice thing to say, but there is really no excuse. I have a side business and it took me 2 evening to fabricate a decent webpage on wordpress.com for an extremely low amount per year. It really isn't difficult.
Yet so many people flat out refuse. I've been on 1 website to buy steel, where I had to send a mail to paper catalogue without prices, and then they would make me a quote. Meanwhile there were Dutch websites where every size of every type is available with a shopping basket system, online chat, and a whatsapp chat. Google anything in dutch 'X... kopen' and you will find tons of Dutch shops and almost no Belgian ones.
Any Belgian company who wants my business should have a webshop, or I will ignore them.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure the blogs of the NYT, CNN, Forbes, Reuters, GM, UPS, eBay, SONY, Best Buy, Rolling Stones, TC, AllThingsD, Mashable, etc. are part of a botnet.
When you get to this scale, it's usually significantly cheaper to run your own servers rather than running on something like AWS. Infact my company even just switched from managed leased boxes to our own hardware. Despite the hassle, it's cheaper and gives us more control.

I’m still working on a post for this particular MLM/Hun, every time I dive into it there’s so much more batshit. I have a few posts about my experience with a hun, (recruitment was attempted but failed spectacularly), and some more about MLM’s, Life Coaches, Huns, there’s a lot of scams going on. If you want read them, the link is here….. https://wordpress.com/view/tothewednesdayborn.wordpress.com
Start documenting it all and posting it on blast either on IG or a website (or both). In the past I had a previous free wordpress.com site that I used to document all the trash issues in my former uptown neighborhood. I'd email links to my councilperson and CC lots of Tulane admins as well. It ended up getting attention and some of the issues at the time did get resolved.
It is not uncommon for larger companies to monitor these lists to see if any of their customers are affected.
I would guess that it is probably legit, but as others have said, don't click the link - go directly to https://wordpress.com/ and check it out for yourself.
And then go to https://haveibeenpwned.com and see if there has been a recent breach affecting you - it may be time to change some passwords.

Das Theme ist Coraline, es ist retired. Vermutlich hat sich das jemand unter den Nagel gerissen und macht jetzt Kohle mit den alten Seiten, die nicht auf ein aktuelles Theme umsteigen.
I landed a remote opportunity a few years ago. I landed it because I released a VERY popular plugin for wordpress. It was a massive plugin with 150k+ downloads. I had been doing that for 3 years by then. Not professionally but part time. I landed an interview with Automattic (WordPress' parent company).
You don't always need to have that. You just have to demonstrate very strong written communication skills. You have to over communicate. And clearly. Without spelling and grammar mistakes. You'd be rejected even before you know it if you don't have these.
Added is the emphasis on being reachable when remote. The company sees if you are reachable when you need them. I had a sort of a trial by fire period where I actually worked on wordpress.com to add a feature. They paid me for it. You have to monitor communication channels and make yourself available to be reached. Over communicate. Commits should say everything about why you did what you did - even if the commits messages have to be longer and take more time than the change itself.
I was very proud to have cleared the interview but....The CEO behaved like a dick and a bit racist to me so I declined. But that's another story.
>Maybe she needs some bad act on his part to give her some claim of moral superiority?
Bingo.
Examining Women's Fantasies: Why Do They Love Bad Men?
"One of the most interesting reasons women find bad boys attractive is because of the psychological manipulation it allows her over him, at least, theoretically. In the typical plot of a female romance novel, the bad man meets the good woman, is instantly attracted to her, seduces her into a relationship, then does a Big Bad Thing which makes her end the relationship. He then has to change his behavior and work all the harder to get her back until she accepts and they live happily ever after."
"Although we may at first be inclined to view these events in a positive way, largely because it is about a man changing himself for a woman and not the other way around, what we're really seeing is emotional abuse. After the man does the Big Bad Thing, the woman thereafter gets to use it whenever she wants as a tool for manipulation. Not only that but she will use his past bad behavior to belittle him and get him to do what she wants. The story ends with her having full control of the relationship, with him ready to do anything she asks for and with him placing her on a pedestal for the rest of their lives."
"...But there is an added aspect which is solely particular to women which is that they can capitalize on martyrdom, hence the man must do something horrible, whether it was well and truly raping her in a way that wasn't pleasurable at all or saying something that hurt her. Our reaction to women hurting is to want to eliminate it as much as possible, and so these female characters in our minds have full ability to demand anything they want from the man who did her wrong, as well that he must do everything he can to make up for it."
A few inaccuracies... when you have a Business plan with wordpress.com you can install any theme you like, can install most plugins too. The minimum plan to use your own domain name is the Personal plan, which does not cost $70
Wordpress.com has a free hosting tier. You can upgrade plans later or, since it uses the WordPress platform, if you ever wanted to migrate to your own hosting it's super easy.
The free tier does have its limits (3gb storage (you could always hotlink), need to use wordpress subdomain) but I think it's worth trying out so you're not having to spend any money upfront and have upgrade/migration options in the future.
Each year, more than 165 million Americans get the flu shot. There were 85 reported deaths following influenza vaccination in 2017; 119 deaths in 2018; and 203 deaths in 2019
Between mid-December 2020 and April 23, 2021, at which point between 95 million and 100 million Americans had received their COVID-19 shots, there were 3,544 reported deaths following COVID vaccination, or about 30 per day

Sorry you're in this position, OP. Here's hoping the best for you!
It may be a little late for some of this, but here's some advice compiled from this forum:
Note: the first part is just copy paste from the Handbook. Just scroll on down until you reach the part titled, "The Real Content".

Hopefully, some of it may still be relevant to your situation, at least the section titled "GO - Time to Go."
Good luck, OP! Please check in with us and let us know how it's going!
I use the "emacs" editor and LaTeX for anything that needs to be properly formatted, just as I have done for the past 40 years (well, the first few years of that were TeX, not LaTeX).
I have occasionally used "Pages" on my Mac, but I don't think I used it for anything at work.
I have used Google Docs a few times, when someone else has created a document that I needed to collaborate on (mainly for Academic Senate or department committees).
For web pages like my course syllabi, I generally edit HTML by hand (using emacs), keeping the format very simple.
For my blog, I use wordpress.com, which has a rather awkward, but adequate, online editing program.
Gooootdamn thank you, fuck. Well gonna work on undoing that, thank you so much for such a quick reply, definitely the noobiest move. I will have to figure out how to move from .com to .org.
I got my domain and my site is being hosted by wordpress.com because that's what I paid for eagerly like a dumbass, i think.
Thanks again and if you have tips on how to undo my whoopsie I will be more than happy to hear
You had a wordpress.com blog then. When people talk about getting their own Wordpress site, they are referring to self-hosted installs of Wordpress from Wordpress.org.
I run any scripts I need just fine on all my self-hosted Wordpress sites. (And have heavily modified functionality through custom plugins I've written.)

Agenda Europesta puhuminen kyllä vaikuttaa hieman liioittelulta.
Honestly, I've run my own WordPress websites for the better part of 10 years now. Having comments open sucks. It's just too much trouble these days. Too much spam, too many trolls. That's why you rarely see them anymore on major news sites.
If you feel like you must have comments, use a system like Disqus. I don't like Disqus, but at least it provides a barrier. It allows users to sign in using their social media or WordPress.com accounts, and you get less of that drive by link dropping crap that will drive you crazy because it is relentless.
There are many other comments plug ins. I haven't looked for one in a while so I can't recommend anything.
I would choose another way to engage with your true fans:
Anything other than website comments.
Sheep. Get your news from real sources like Libtard_Wrecker1776's YouTube channel and wordpress.com/ih8AOCsfeet. They told me George Soros personally drove vans full of exhumed dead people to voting polls and forced them to watch hours of Rachel Maddow.
Seriously, if you have something new(in terms of theory/practice) post it to something like pastebin, a tumblr account, a wordpress blog or post a pdf download link from some filesharing site kat.cr/piratebay/mega.co.nz etc.
Also cryptic shite about a "plan" makes me think you are a bit of a nut, or a plant(fbi etc. might be I'm made too nervous by cointelpro and the like, but seriously... above board dude).
Any revolutionary rhetoric must be open. Any literal plans of revolutionary action(protest/direct action) must be truly private. IE not advertised on open channels.
I am open to new ideas, but they must be open, as open as possible themselves.
Wordpress.com is kind of awful. Basically, they are a hosting provider that will absolutely use your personal info for advertising or however they see fit.
Wordpress.org is the actual WordPress platform, which is free to use on any hosting you wish. The platform itself does not collect any info about you, though plugins you use on your site may. I've never had to provide a phone# for operating any of my or my client sites.
Generally speaking, and especially if you are concerned about privacy, RUN away from wordpress.com
Wordpress is open source and is free. You are probably thinking of wordpress.com. Which provides hosted wordpress solution. I see absolutely no reason to use it. Go for wordpress.org instead.
As for the theme, I know Divi for example gives you unlimited sites license. Some themes and plugins might restrict usage to a number of sites only.
Keep in mind that themes in wordpress have less to do with design and layouts and more to do with functionality. I am saying this because coming from wix you would probably think a theme determines how your site should look like, but that's not necessarily the case with wordpress. In wordpress, themes give you different functionality, different performance, and different wordpress experience in general.
If you are just starting out, Elemenator or will do. Keep in mind that the more functionality a theme gives you, the more bloated it is and might hurt your site's performance.
"Hosting your own" has too high a barrier to entry. I pay $5/month for a VM and run several websites off of it, but something like wordpress.com or dreamhost is much more widely usable. It's clearly possible to run a basic site for $2/month of network and equipment cost.
Man, this question gets asked like every week! It's amazing.
There were a few points to Quent. Most are thematic/worldbuildy. We get insight into the complex political shit going on with Yunkai, and we see firsthand the capriciousness of sellsword companies. We also get eyes in Volantis, which GRRM does several times throughout ADWD - I believe to set up Volantis to be destroyed next book.
Quent also has thematic importance, like I said. The first line of his first chapter is "Adventure stank." That about sums it up, really. It's a little 4-chapter vignette that deals with the harsh realities behind a romantic-sounding mission. The prince is going to sneak off and, through adventure and danger, win the heart of the princess! Except that's not what happens. Quentyn is terrified of Dany, and is really the consummate innocent. Doran makes a big stink about protecting innocents, but Quentyn's story shows us that, like Arianne, Doran is not above using innocent people to accomplish his goals.
And then there are the plot importances. We get the dragons released, of course, and we see the dragons firsthand - an important thing to do, when they're locked in the pits for most of the book. There's also the matter that Doran will now be backed into a corner. Aegon VI is a Targaryen who is here in Westeros and is winning battles. If you're Doran, you're going to pick the Targaryen in the hand over the dragons in the bush any day of the week.
Quentyn's story is really remarkably efficient. In four chapters, GRRM takes care of all those points I listed above. /u/BryndenBFish usually has some good answers to this too - where you at bud?
Anyway, if you want to read more of my thoughts, here's a link to a blog post I did a while back about quent: https://wordpress.com/post/76049864/26/
You can't really go wrong with Wordpress. Just be aware that there are 2 types of Wordpress site i.e. those built at wordpress.com and those that are hosted on their own domain. The latter is my personal preference, but do your research before jumping in.
Jetpack is connected to WordPress.com. They are run by the same group, Automattic Inc. If you install Jetpack on your self hosted site it will connect it to your wordpress.com account.
Wordpress.org (self-hosted) and wordpress.com are completely different. You don't pay for features with self hosted. Avoid BlueHost - they are trash (along with GoDaddy).
Szerencsére kopaszunk volt olyan ostoba, hogy elég nyilvánvalóan a wordpress.com-ot választotta a gyűlöletkeltésre.

wordpress.com for all your blogging needs.
Edit: For class suggestions, 2 weeks ago you were dead set on being a bishop, yesterday you were picking between BM and MM. So either of those I suppose.
I picked 5 here a few weeks ago, Barrios, Quintero, Sarr, Milenkovic & Bentancur.

I'd add to it a few more:
Many more impressed but were more familiar names.
One thing I did that made it impossible for me to ever see it in another light was to make a list of all the things that bothered me with the organization, anything that didn't feel right or that I knew to be absolute rubbish. I jotted down little things...having to wear dresses in freezing cold weather...to failures of prophecy and shocking scandals both local and global. Before I started my list, I thought I had one or two pet peeves.
I filled two pages of paper.
I then broke that list down into 3 categories: Organization, Doctrine, and Personal. I assigned each item to one of those categories. They came out pretty evenly. (I was hoping it was all personal, which would prove I was the one with the problem.) This showed that the problem was systemic. It was like a cancer that had infected every part of what I thought to be true.
Now, when I tried to reason that "if they just fix this one thing, I could deal with it..." all I had to do was look at my list. There is NO WAY they will ever fix all those things. If everyone who hurt me apologized and behaved themselves, it wouldn't solve the doctrinal lies and organizational shenanigans. If the society comes out with an apology for child abuse cover ups, it won't take away that all their presidents were alcoholic, womanizing, money-grabbing crackpots.
It's the collective evidence that convinced me, and kept me from taking any of their "study material" seriously. In fact, I haven't opened it since. If it isn't lying to me, it's trying to brainwash me.
One thing they are absolutely right about - you can't eat at the table of God and the table of demons. They just placed themselves at the wrong table.
I just put the whole thing up on my blog: https://wordpress.com/post/confessionsofamerrywidow.wordpress.com/138
Hey guys, I've been bored without FPL. I've been looking into integrating this into the site for a long time, but we're sort of gimped by Wordpress.com's design. So, here it is, an open source piece of information for you on how to use the API, as well as a spreadsheet downloadable from the bottom of the post. Hopefully you guys enjoy it, it should be of use to those who have an interest in coding, or want to learn, as I am learning too.

There's so other lot info as well. Don't worry too much he should still be able to grow once you've got him on the right diet.
Definitely not luck to pick this area - I did 50 customer interviews before determining this was a good idea, and had done many interviews on other product ideas which I rejected on the basis of those interviews.
Initially I had the pain myself of having a popular WordPress site (blog.asmartbear.com) that would have problems when I got on the front page of Hackernews. Asking around, there wasn't a clear solution, but there was a desire to pay 5x-10x as much if there was a solution that also had good customer support.
I was never competing with wordpress.com, because that system didn't allow customization like your own plugins, themes, and custom code; that market of "builders" is what I was going for.
Of course that was 11 years ago -- today there are at least a dozen quality direct competitors (i.e. in "managed WordPress") and many more alternatives (e.g. Wix, SquareSpace, Shopify, etc). But also we're the 6th largest public website host in the world (not for WordPress, I mean for all websites), so we've succeeded in achieving scale despite that. Still, the competitve space is completely different now!
The war against the "emphatic literally" was lost centuries ago.

> AND is bundled with Visual Composer and Revolution Slider.
Fuck those 2 plugins man. I wished I knew how bloated those 2 are before using it.
Bought the theme because it's like Top 10 best selling theme.
Used it once and their page builder is soooo slow and messy. There are way too many customization, creating huge room for errors.
Now, I'm settling with the theme from Wordpress.com. I think they are reviewed more tightly. As a bonus, most of them has matching styling between Gutenberg editor and front-end.
15k daily visitors is pretty minor. For Wordpress, I would probably just shove it over to wordpress.com and be done with it. Hosting your own Wordpress is way too much overhead for a tiny site like this.
They are more dangerous than the 4 Cow list from first. First of all, they have white 2-hards which the Lambda's don't. Also, the Upsilon's real power is in it's alpha strike.
Check out Midwest Scrub's blog on it: Tripsilon and "The Rule of Four"
Social media is super easy to understand, especially for a software engineer ... it's basically posts * fan_impressions == success, so for your wife to be successful, she needs to cultivate local followers on social media and share posts on a regular schedule.
Have your wife script a three month story that would appeal to her target audience. It can be about personal growth, betterment, the seasons, a workout schedule .. just about anything, but it's basically a scripted story that has a goal, and steps to get from A to B. Then, develop a content path that uses YouTube, and Instagram to tell the story. Those two platforms are key, because the videos are recyclable into Faceobok and LinkedIn, and the Instagram posts are recyclable into Twitter and Facebook so you're doubling your usage.
Add some weekly sharing to Reddit and automated (IFTTT) posts to WordPress.com and Tumblr blogs for backlinks and poof, you've got a strategy for building your local market with little effort.
Tired of walking around with a wallet bulging with notes and coins?
Living in Japan I found it was often more difficult to come up with the right change when making purchases. Was it my imagination? No. The Yen is the worst of the worlds major currencies.
I built a python model to check the relative transaction efficiency of the worlds top 20 currencies and also for a set of artificial currencies with randomish denominations.
The model starts with an empty wallet. The owner wants to make a purchase. The purchase is random number between 1 and the median currency denomination. If the wallet has insufficient funds the owner will visit an ATM and withdraw one note of the highest currency denomination and put it in the wallet. The user will handover change to the shopkeeper for each transaction in a way to minimize coins/notes in wallet.
After 100 transactions per currency I will measure the average coins and notes in the wallet. Then rank the currencies, the fewer coins and notes the user needs to hold during the course of the 100 transactions, the better.
Time to move to Sweden which has the best currency in the world.
More details here: https://wordpress.com/view/tokyotomato477772302.wordpress.com
The source of the data was www.xe.com for the denominations in active circulation and a ranking of the worlds top currencies by daily trading volume.
Most of these sites are basically wordpress blogs.
The hosting cost can be as low as Rs. 1665/month if you buy the business plan of wordpress.com. (https://wordpress.com/#plans). If you host it on amazon aws with a xlarge webserver and 1tb of storage, it comes to Rs. 14000/month. (http://calculator.s3.amazonaws.com/index.html#r=IAD&s=EC2&key=calc-17C580B2-A461-46CB-BF7B-40CB6E4BEFC0)
So hosting is cheap.
If you don't have a proper office and newsdesk and so on, you can work from home and all your employees can work from their homes. You can meet up once a week or so at somebodys house. So no office overheads. Some people wear multiple hats. There is no dedicated editor.
Content is the main issue. Usually there are content providers who will give you matter and images you can modify and use. If you are hell bent on creating your own content, you can do so. Mediacrooks is - to the best of my knowledge - a one man operation.
If you are not interested in revenue to cover your costs, a group of 3-4 otherwise gainfully employed - and likeminded - professionals can run such an operation part time, funding it with a part of their paychecks.
Revenue sources are of three types. Paid content is the most lucrative but you need to show that you have reach. Advertisements are the easiest but most people have ad blockers installed now (which is why most websites of proper news media show you a message asking you to remove your adblocker). Subscribers who pay are the holy grail, but then you have to setup a billing capability and register as a company and open a current account and payment processing and all that and someone has to handle subscriber helpdesk, and once you do that, you have to do sales to make sure that there are enough subscribers to justify all the overhead.
> Ah the echo chamber
True. I wish these lists would find some blogs.
> Seems like a list of all the narcissists and sociopaths that already spam their content here to maintain their 'web presence.'
Aww, too bad. You fell for the easy path of cynicism, rather than the constructive but admittedly harder path of creating your own valuable, sharable content.
Here's a nice link for you: https://wordpress.com/start. Looking forward to your content soon!
Cheers, The sociopath.
Zidane, for sure. (linking to my explanation because I don't wanna write it out again haha)
Add everything that's said in that post, along with having a quad-9 attack for 8 MP. Ugh. Beautiful. He's the best.
Link doesn't work. I hovered over the link, and I think it's a link from your wordpress feed, so it's asking me to log in.

Have you considered running a Wordpress site? There are a lot of wordpress themes out there that might be able to accommodate what you want to do. You would have to pay the hosting & domain of course (use wordpress.org, NOT wordpress.com, if you don't want the wordpress name in the URL) but to me this is absolutely worth it if you're looking to make a name for yourself.
If it's just about getting your music out there, utilizing social media like Soundcloud & Twitter could be helpful (& Instagram if you want to showcase your gear or even video of you at work).

Considering that VAERS is voluntary self reporting the actual number of adverse events and deaths is very likely much higher. Ive also heard that people have had problems uploading their cases and that the servers are culled but i'd have to re-find my source for that.
Each year, more than 165 million Americans get the flu shot. There were 85 reported deaths following influenza vaccination in 2017; 119 deaths in 2018; and 203 deaths in 2019
Between mid-December 2020 and April 23, 2021, at which point between 95 million and 100 million Americans had received their COVID-19 shots, there were 3,544 reported deaths following COVID vaccination, or about 30 per day
In just four months, the COVID-19 vaccines have killed more people than all available vaccines combined from mid-1997 until the end of 2013 — a period of 15.5 years

These covid vaccines are already the most dangerous vaccines in recent U.S. history.
No worries! We all had to start with the basics at some point. A site directory is basically where you're storing all your files for the website. Though if this is your first time, would you mind if I ask if you're using shared hosting (you manage everything yourself) or something like Wordpress.com (everything managed for you)? Depending on the answer, I'll be better able to help you :)
The answer to this is dependent on who is providing your Wordpress site. If you're paying wordpress.com, it's a lot like Wix, and generally you should be able to get in touch with someone there who can help, they likely have a procedure for this. Even if they don't eventually the card you're paying for it with will expire, and once the money runs out, that company will eventually take the site down permenantly.
If it's a self-hosted Wordpress install, wordpress.org, this complicates things initially but does make things easier to get into. You would need to find out where your website is hosted and obtain the account log in information for their control panel. If you're paying for it, they should be able to verify you and get you in eventually. From there, you'll need to access your wordpress database through a tool, usually called phpMyAdmin - in there you'll find the "wp_users" table, and a list of all the users, including the administrators.
If you need to reset a user (or admin) password and don't have their email address, just locate their name here, select the password field, then edit it to be what you want. Before you're done, make sure you select the "MD5" option from the dropdown menu that's nearby. From there, your password will then take effect and you should be able to log in to the site and make the changes you need.
Last time I heard of WebFlow and looked into it, it's all self-hosted on their own platform. Similar to "WordPress.com" i.e. you cannot take the files and host it yourself to do as you please.
Did you update your nameservers to point to bluehost?
This article might help you : https://wordpress.com/support/move-domain/change-name-servers/
BTW bluehost is trash, you can read reviews on here from users
Congratulations!
> For those of you have your own website, perhaps it's even a traveling/backpacking website, what service do you use and what do you like/not like about.
So you're asking about web hosting?
For really simple, Squarespace is popular. Wordpress.com is also popular.
I recommend keeping your domains separate from your hosting - I use Hover.com for domain registration, and Bluehost for the actual sites.
Hey 👋 I work in Ecommerce security.
Not sure if you have already investigated this but, this site is hosted on WordPress as I can see they are using sales elements from WooCommerce here.
File a DMCA Takedown Notice Form here: https://automattic.com/dmca-notice/
They outline the process here: https://wordpress.com/support/our-dmca-process/#step1
Best of luck!
Nevermind, I figured it out. Leaving this up to shame myself. Here are the instructions for future bozos like myself: https://wordpress.com/support/move-domain/transfer-domain-registration/
Publish to Web (not LMS or another format). You'll need to upload the whole folder of Storyline output.
Are you using Wordpress.com or a self-hosted Wordpress site?
If it's a free wordpress.com site, then /u/Thediciplematt's answer is good. You host it somewhere else and then link to the story.html file. (I use a screenshot and link from the image when I have done that.)
If it's a self-hosted Wordpress site, then /u/JuicyBoot's solution should work. I use the Filezilla method. You can put Storyline content in an iframe if you want to maintain your Wordpress navigation around it, but opening in a new window is easiest.
Agreed..If you are building client sites on wordpress.com without explicit instructions from the client to do so you are not a professional. Make your own installation on a dedicated server when building for a business customer. If they can't afford that they should not be in business. Yes, Jetpack sucks. Use Woocommerce.
The ads that you see at the end of each post is inserted by WordPress for hosting this blog. TerranCraft does not directly get any money from it.
It seems like WordPress is getting more intruding with their ads on mobile. I need to upgrade to a more expensive plan to remove the ads.
Wordpress as a company does not have more resources then ANY (most, maybe, but not all) hosts out there. You're also restricted by a lot of things when using wordpress.com vs using wordpress.org on a third-party host, you get access to the entire software. As long as you're smart with choosing your host, using the software standalone is better.

Sorry for what will look like spam but I posted this as its own post but mods said it would be better suited for here. Essentially I wrote a quick recap/reaction of the main event and was looking for some feedback from the great people here. Haven't been writing for long and kind of just looking for some thoughts and exposure on a blog that was started by a couple of buddies from my home town on Long Island. Thanks for your time!
I would suggest signing up with wordpress and get started writing. Setup is easy and it is very user-friendly.
Don't worry about design, domain name, or programming or anything until you have something you're ready to show-off and share. Quality content is more important than anything else.
If you want to be 100% focused on your content, you could go through a blog platform like wordpress.com and learn the tech basics along the way (host + domain through them) whilst not interfering with your main goal of content.
Your definition of clean and objectionable is going to be different to another persons view.
If this WordPress instance is hosted on WordPress.com, then maybe contact them directly. If it's hosted elsewhere, which even looking the source would show WordPress folder like you pointed out, then contact the hosting service, and then they can deem whether the hosted content violates the customer's Terms Of Service.
Keeping Open Source clean, isn't about the content that is hosted or being used by an Open Source Project, it's about making sure Bugs are fixed, and the code doesn't contain malware, or violate people's rights. If you think it means something else, then you need to do some research into what Open Source is, and what each license entails.
I don't think it is that expensive, but I don't know so...
What I do know is that McDonalds integrated with OpenNode which is a service provider that creates a product, registers you onto that product and gives you support. Like having a wordpress site registered on wordpress.com with a subscription fee.
Another solution which requires an in-company tech team is BTCPayServer. It's like wordpress.org by comparison. It gives you much more control on what you can do and although you have to pay hosting and maintenance fees, it should be cheaper than the subscription fees and you will likely get more value for your buck in the long run -- if you can manage it and manage the upfront costs.
https://wordpress.com/stats/post/104/stonesnbones.wordpress.com
Here you go. I wrote a whole thing on it. There's a lot of ammo in there from a lot of different angles.
I mean, it comes down to that we get to. Just like everyone else. I'm sure your wife, mother, or sister has gone out for a night with the girls. Do they need to be chaperoned or have men included out of some kind of equality?
The goal of Freemasonry is to make men better people for society and for their Creator. To do that we need to practice being good and living in harmony. That's really hard under the best conditions and the regular world is far from the best conditions. So we remove three particular stressors that cause men to fight with each other: religion, politics, and women.
When that pressure is off, we are better enabled to set aside our differences, work together, and be kind. Then we can take that experience out into the wider world and are much better equipped to bring kindness and harmony there as well.
The short answer is don't use WordPress.com.
Get a hosting service for your site, install the free WordPress software on that instead. Then you can do as you like. Get the software from wordpress.org.
Este tipo no puede gastarse $8 anuales en un domain real?
wordpress.com es la cosa mas chea que puedes tener.
Por lo menos mete un domain rico: abajoladictadura.com , dame algo. JAJAJA
I always feel like WordPress.com is a scam because I almost fell for it thinking it was the only way I could get WordPress in the internet without being a dev, the only thing that kept me away was me questioning "but wordpress isn't opensource?" until I researched a lot and understood that there are infinite ways to host WordPress, even in my own pc for learning purpose.
If you're not interested in sex in the beginning then it makes a huge difference to communicate that at the very beginning. Like literally just out and say it. If at that point, your date is turned off because they wanted to have sex right away, you dodged a bullet because clearly you never wanted to be with someone like that in the first place.
Remember that you're both adults who want a relationship, not two teenagers who are dropping hints and "trying to read the signs". You need to be really clear with what you want. It was what made all the difference to me when I was dating.
Actually, I was like you once too. When I was 25, I dated a guy that I crushed on in college. I spent more of it doing the thing where I dropped hints rather than just tell him what I wanted, and it really didn't work out. It confused him to no end. Now as a 30-something year old, I wrote a blog post about it. I'll share it with you here. I hope it can help you a bit.
>230
Why? Without 230 internet will stop being a safe harbor for freedom of speech. The likes of youtube and wordpress.com will most likely stop existing because of the enormous overhead that hosts will have with moderating everything that could be lawsuit(able)
It's called "Retelling the Bible." You should be able to search it in any podcast platform. Or go to the web page and click on the links for any episode.

Some of the more radical stories I've tackled: "Sex Kabobs!" "What happens on the Threshing Floor," "Gomer's #MeToo Moment," "The Women Formerly Known as Lot's Daughters."
When you register a domain or transfer it to another registrar, the domain will be locked for 60 days. During this period the domain cannot be transferred. It is part of the transfer policy from ICANN and applies to all registrars.
You can to use wordpress.com to point your DNS to your new host. Then after 60 days you can transfer it to a new domain registrar if you want.
WordPress 100%

Don't make the mistake of using wordpress.com though, you'll want to find a host & use wordpress.org.

It's pretty straight forward. I use A2hosting.com but really any host works. Once you pick a host, you need to pick your domain. It usually can be done straight through the hosting setup.

Then from there its 1 click WordPress install.

If you have some questions or anything shoot me a PM.
Good luck!
Your link doesn't point to the URL it says it does. It should point here: https://itsmygamemyrules.wordpress.com/2018/08/17/gears-of-hate-toa/
But it points here: https://wordpress.com/post/itsmygamemyrules.wordpress.com/10734 (which doesn't work properly).
Article is basically just quotes from WordPress and the standard "WordPress powers 25% of the web [..]" paragraph. Jump straight to
This is just some free wordpress theme and it really shows. You should try and develop your own theme, wordpress is super easy to learn if you have a basic knowledge of CSS and HTML.
I got the same email, and it appears to be legit. The link was JUST to WordPress (https://wordpress.com/ <-- copied from the email, it's the main link), the email was actually WordPress. I personally clicked the link as soon as I ascertained the URL was normal.
When it prompts you to change your password, it asks you to enter only your email address or username (I did username), then sends the password reset to that email. So, it's legit. Good call on the haveibeenpwned.
Writing a novel is complicated work, and the process is far messier than I initially anticipated – there’s a little more to it than coming up with an idea and firing up the old word processor. I’ve started a website to shed some light on the nuts and bolts of writing a novel, from conception to (hopefully) publication, including all the little issues writers have to deal with that are conveniently glossed over in the lists of “Ten Tips for Writing the Next Best Seller!”
I discuss processes, lessons learned from my own writing, and insights I’ve gleamed from reading the works of other authors.
Posting only once per week felt insubstantial, so I’ve bumped the plan up to two posts per week – one on Sunday, and one on Thursday! This Sunday’s article will be about the process I used to come up with my plot, starting with only a single scene in mind. Thursday I will check in with another 5,000-word milestone postmortem.
Come take a look and let me know what you’d like to see more of and what should be done differently!
I am sooo tempted by her birthday release - Luau Party and Tea Party, I'm looking at you two! I'm hoping that Claire will do a Resurrection event again this year (around January) and bring back some of her past releases!
I definitely am giving myself some budget for reevaluations in the event that NAVA does a summer release and for Solstice Scent's summer release.
This is my review for today! I think just remembering that everything is in moderation is a huge help :)
If you don't know your own email address, then there's probably very little that they can actually do for you.
When you go to the login page here: https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php
There's a link that says "Lost your password?". Click that.
Next, there is another link on that page which says "Need more help?". Click that.
On this new "Account Recovery" page, there is a form you can fill out with what information you do know. You will need to give them an email to have them be able to contact you. But essentially, you need to prove that you are the person who created this site, somehow. If you can't do that, then no, you're probably not getting back into it.
The purpose of usernames and passwords is simple: To prove your identity. They can't simply hand over control of a site to you without some kind of proof, because if they did that, then anybody would be able to fool their process and take over any site they liked.
So, you losing your username and password, pretty commonplace. But you losing your email address, well, that's highly unusual. It doesn't make much sense. Email addresses are something you generally use often, daily, and you pretty much keep the same one for your whole life, or close to it. So, yeah. That makes it rather hard to prove the site is yours.
But bottom line: Without some kind of proof or at least evidence of some kind, then you're screwed. Sorry.
I just wanted to say that, if it helps you, it's worth doing. You are doing it as some sort of release? If that's the case, then who cares whether others read it? If people do read it and comment, then awesome!
As for getting started. You can easily get started at WordPress.com with a free blog and a domain like seanf999.wordpress.com.
My advice would be to study it topic by topic. A topic that I like to start with is "What is the One True Church?" Here is a blog posting that allows you to read about it in your Bible: https://wordpress.com/stats/day/christiansundivided.wordpress.com
Is there a specific topic that you would want more details on? Let me know, I'd be glad to help!
I also like to listen to these Catholic Answers playlists while I'm working on things: https://www.youtube.com/user/catholiccom
> Just a website that can display basic info for my local business.
I recommend Wordpress if you want everything already done for you in the form of templates, or if you're feeling fiesty, Drupal.
I teach a lot of newcomers and these questions come up a lot. It seems you are confusing "WordPress.com" and "WordPress.org" which happens often.
TLDR: "WordPress.org" is a fully free open source software that anyone can install on any php-mysql server (a very common server). "WordPress.com" is a walled garden that uses that free software to run millions of websites. You cannot do some things on "WordPress.com" that you can do on your own, like install any plugin or any theme.
https://caseypatrickdriscoll.com/wordpress-com-vs-wordpress-org/
Do you have a link to your site? I'm assuming you're using a free site at https://wordpress.com and your site is probably called something like https://mywebsite.wordpress.com. If that is the case, you won't be able to upload and install the theme you bought. For the sake of security and ease of use, they don't let you install external things on it; you must use their approved stuff.
What you are looking for is to rent your own server space at a 'shared hosting' company like bluehost, dreamhost, godaddy, or 1,000s of others. For a small monthly fee, you'll be able to install the open source version of WordPress and upload all the themes and plugins you want. Some hosts are better than others; lots of people have opinions about it. Search google or look in the side bar for more information on getting a host.
Cheers!
The current mt_rand()
gets exposed by signup_form_id
. Which you can check exists on https://wordpress.com/wp-signup.php
It seems that changing the admin email can only be achieved thru the admin panel, thus rendering the hash prediction moot.
Exploitation by password generation seems to be difficult though, since <code>wp_generate_password()</code>
uses <code>wp_rand()</code> which prepends mt_rand()
with microtime()
and throws in a couple rounds of sha1 and md5.
Though my site is self-hosted and Wordpress.org, I noticed that Wordpress.com has 2-factor as a default feature. And it allows for security key compatibility. So I activated it and it works fine with my site. Now I can get rid of the various plugins I was trying to install. A simple solution which I just stumbled upon (happily). It also works more seamlessly with fewer steps to login to the site than with the plugin I used before this.
Easiest answer:
Start writing on a Wordpress.com or Medium.com blog and publishing articles.
Try putting out 3 articles by next month.
You'll quickly see if you even LIKE writing in the first place!
Yeah get hosting and move from wordpress.com to wordpress.org.
Basically you install wordpress on an online server and from there it is basically identical to wordpress.com with the exeption that you have full control.
Don't worry it is not that hard. Depending on your location you can search for a hosting solution that offers installing wordpress on your server via a cpanel (control panel).
Once wordpress is installed by either yourself or your hoster, you can enter your wp dashboard via www.yourdomain/wp-admin. Now you can install Themes and Plugins as you wish and you even get a better URL and mail options as well.
