So, uh... I just so happen to know that you can buy capsules of liquid blood. You just pop them in your mouth, bite down, and... blood. Mixes with your saliva to produce a whole lot more than you'd expect. Used them for a Halloween costume one year.
Use this knowledge as you wish.
I’d suggest using fake names, fake photos, and addresses from Zillow.
I’ve been making up elaborate long winded stories about what my cousin told me because she lives in Texas. Sometimes I put in bible quotes, I upload the fake pictures, and I make a fake text screenshot as “proof”.
I make sure not to have any paragraph breaks and to take up the entire character count.
Link to shirt and I just want to say that the comments insulting my dad and telling me I have the intellect of a teenage boy have been my favorites so far
There’s a book about this! It’s called Snow Flower and the Secret Fan by Lisa See. It’s a story about two sisters that use this text. Highly recommended!

Oh man, I recently found out about nail stickers like this or these, I have bought both of those and they are awesome. It has absolutely changed my nail game. If you put a layer of topcoat polish over them, they last about 2 weeks with no chipping, peeling, etc.
(I sound like a sales pitch, I promise I'm not shilling, just.. somewhat overly enthusiastic about sharing cool stuff sometimes)
This little book appropriately called Witches, Sluts, Feminists really opened my eyes, not to feminism, but to the feminist connection to witches. It's a fast read, and I can't recommend it enough.
Perhaps an unconventional recommendation is Atwood's Handmaid's Tale + the Hulu series. I was surprised by how good the writing was, but I shouldn't have been--the book won the Pulitzer. I feel that in many ways, the book is the inevitable conclusion of unfettered misogyny, as well as a gripping explanation as to why fascism needs to suppress feminism to thrive.
My psychiatrist reccomended I read the book The Gift of Fear by Gavin de Becker. It was certainly a helpful read.
This is literally the theory behind Habitica.
I really encourage my students to use this app or one like it because it combines tracking tasks (homework, housework, errands, personal goals, etc) with gamification and builds in positive reinforcement for tasks that often feel unrewarding.
I AM FINE WITH RIOT! That's what some LGBTQ history books called it, anyway: Stonewall Riot," source Becoming Visible: An Illustrated History of Lesbian and Gay Life in Twentieth-Century America

If you check out the comments, there are some pictures of people having it under their desk (the handlebars fold down flat so you can slide it under couches/beds for storage). If you have a wide-legged chair or small bench to straddle it, that might let you use it while sitting! Otherwise the angle might be off, if your chair is behind it while using. Best of luck, I hope this helps!
The two main ones I've used are the Golden Thread tarot app (iOS and Android) and Red Candle (Android only, or at least that I've seen). I use the Golden Thread app as a daily reminder about my spirituality and to get a daily card drawing as a way to give me a perspective I may not have otherwise considered about the day to come (it pings you with a daily card at 8am). I use Red Candle to symbolically sacrifice something to spirits when I don't have anything else to sacrifice on me, because it means I sacrifice time and access to my device for the amount of time the digital candle representation burns.
Both have served me well, but I'm also curious to see what others recommend. I'd love to fill out my spirituality app selection some.
Speaking of Amazon, I bought a huge pack of cheap pregnancy tests from them when I had a Mirena because I was paranoid it wouldn't work or that I'd get an ectopic pregnancy. They're the strips they use at the doctor's office, without the big plastic thingy around them like the ones they sell for way too much money at the drug store. Work just as well despite costing pennies apiece.
Anybody who needs one, I don't mind sticking some in the mail. Just dm me your address. Or if you want 25 of your own for less than $8, here they are: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071YNWRPP/
My first exposure to everything was through Cunningham's Wicca for the Solitary Practitioner, which I honestly believe is a good "introductory" book even though I personally don't practice Wicca. It goes over many of the core concepts common to multiple practices of witchcraft, introduces basic things like the wheel of the year, and - most importantly - is commonly found in all sorts of places. I've seen it in Barnes & Noble, and PDFs are readily accessible if you can't afford a hard copy.
It's not the Bible of Wicca, like some people treat it, but it's a good starting point. Take what you like, work it into your own practice, and figure out what interests you from there.
“The use of these symbols is based in ancient Greco-Roman astronomy, although their current shapes are a development of the 16th century.” is from the wiki. Looks like there’s an early German list on Wiki Wand as well.
They totally exist! Check out Habitica. There are others available, but Habitica is one of the oldest and most popular. You even have a character who earns coins and exp from completing your irl tasks. You can upgrade your character and fight on quests in your downtime, but the main function is a fantasy game themed planner.
Thank you 🖤 I bought it on Amazon. It comes in two sizes and this is the size XL. cave link
Steven Hassan's recent book 'Freedom of Mind: Helping Loved Ones Leave Controlling People, Cults, and Beliefs' is also supposed to be really good (he is the doctor who developed the BITE model).
Iirc, he wrote it with updated information and with more recent Qults in mind with this book. But it should be helpful for anyone who has loved ones under the influence of cult mind control.
Confirmed, ProtonVPN is awesome and lets you say where you want to appear to be. I used to use it to watch shows on BBC iPlayer from the US when BBC wouldn't sell the shows to a service I could legitimately pay for.
I imagine it's easier to fool the Texas legislature than the BBC. :)

I full time in a Class B van. Currently have the standard 6 gal hot water tank and am considering putting in a on demand so I can get this awesome portable tub.
If you get to do your own build get an on demand and have your bath!
Each rune (depicted at the top of his head) has its own special meaning, and together they also have specific meanings. I do a daily rune draw and consult them ~once a month for bigger questions. They can be a great way to even just journal and listen to your thoughts if you’re not up yet for divination. I highly recommend THIS book to start. Very user friendly and straight forward.
I hope that answers your question!
EDIT: if you’re asking why I chose those runes, it’s because of who the hoop was for and some challenges he’s facing (but hopefully overcoming) as he travels away from his home town.
These are great!! Thanks for sharing.
I Googled the product, sharing a link (I hope that's okay?):

Thanks! Another thing I would recommend is reading fairy tales and fables from around the world. They have great elemental, numerological, and light/dark symbolism in them.
Project Gutenberg has all of Andrew Lang's collections. They are guaranteed to be authentic and well-researched. You can even listen to some of them for free on Librivox. Don't listen like your a studying. Listen while doing something - tidying, crafting, walking, etc.
Some really calming, safe lights that I enjoy are my salt lamp and my string of decorative bulb lights. The salt lamp especially makes a very soothing, soft yellow-orange light.

Check out Lucid dreaming :) This author has a few books on lucid dreaming and self acceptance
I hope your journey takes you to where you need to be. Remember, spirituality can be as little as meditation and self love or as much as believing in a higher power. It’s whatever feels right to you ❤️
i just checked and if you google “black cat and pentagram ouija board” it comes up on various sites including amazon:)

Okay, so there's this book on Amazon by a reputable magick group called The Gallery of Magick: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B017BDDBGS/ref=dbs_a_def_rwt_hsch_vapi_tkin_p1_i1
There is a specific spell in this book to bind an enemy (in this case a piece of shit rapist), but you can also use the ritual to foil an enemy (maybe get his ass thrown in jail or something) and more.
I've read a bunch of Gallery of Magick books and I really recommend them because they simplify the casting process and make it incredibly accessible to beginners.
Check it out if you interested and let me know what happens :)
<em>The Love Witch</em>, if you have access to Amazon Prime, it’s free to watch!
Hi. I do not know you nor do I particularly interact much on Reddit. I don't know if your legit about this, and I don't know how to tell you that I'm legit about this but my friend died from an overdose.
He went to treatment, had a slip and died. My guess is that he didn't want anyone to know they were going to use, used in private and because they kept it secret, there was no one there to save them.
I'm not here to tell you to quit or not use, or to open up and tell people that you used.
I'm here because I'm happy you didn't die. I don't know what your plans are in regards to using but I want to share this app. It could save your life, or the life of anyone you know that may be using opiates.

In general, I believe in setting healthy boundaries. Even if the person is someone that you can’t cut away completely at the moment.
The book is available on Amazon UK for anyone interested. I think I might be ordering this now 😂
If you are into crystals or rocks etc... great. You can look up pinterest and see other ideas there like wicca herbs, pagan alter setup, definitely I suggest you download a witches calendar so you know what is happening when...
Practical Magic for Beginners may help also.
All good, it’s fascinating to learn how things evolved!
If you want a reference for Anglo-Saxon and onwards, I’d really recommend <em>Medieval Women</em> by Henrietta Leyser!

Well, I kind of ran with a bad crowd back in the day so I can address this a little bit. My general take doing dumb things for a decade boils down to possession is not something that happens casually. it's not the Bubonic plague and you're not going to catch it doing simple rituals. As a general rule it requires a desire to make a deal an intention to do harm, or at least indulge destructive tendencies, and making the deal with strange or unknown or malicious entities. That generally involves hedge riding, shamanism or similar practices where you're bridging this world with what's on the other-side of the veil. Think of it as picking up hitch hikers or inviting strangers into your house or surfing the dark web without any virus protection. The bottom line is I've only ever seen it happen once to a guy who was really pretty much asking for it, and he was trying for years to empower himself with black magic. All he ever got for his troubles was basically a magical STD.
When it comes to protection, when in doubt about these things, look to the old ways, wards, bind runes, witches bottles there's plenty of stuff out there. I found a lot of my problems went away when I made a witch's bottle.

That's one I used early on and it's handy reference.
Seconding the Kinsella translations.
Morgan Daimler has a series called "Pagan Portals" -- the one on "Gods and Goddesses of Ireland: A Guide to Irish Deities" has been recommended to me.
If you like podcasts, definitely recommend Story Archaeology.
I’m not sure you’d be able to cultivate most of these on your own (legally), I read Plants of the Gods at university. It was fascinating.
Edit: it doesn’t look like the link I added worked. The book is by Richard Evans Schultes, Albert Hoffman, and Christian Ratsch.
It is also available through Google Play Movies & TV, Vudu, Amazon Prime Videos, The Criterion Channel, and iTunes.
It might be a long shot but you can try and see if Amazon or The Criterion Collection deliver where you are. $27 Blu-ray or $20 DVD.
Hopefully we can find a way for you!
My Mom also passed this year. Much comfort to you, and may the new and growing sunlight heal your loss.
Here's a book that can help with your question:
The Pagan Book of Living and Dying, by Starhawk and M. Macha Nightmare
You might be interested to check out this book then. Its well researched and describes an ancient order of women brewing pscyhedelic beer!
https://www.amazon.com/Immortality-Key-Secret-History-Religion-ebook/dp/B0818QJHKF
Its really fascinating seeing several links here arguing against beer witches that all happen to be about 3 years old. Almost like there was a coordinated pusback against something.
What happened about 3 years ago?

This book came out: The Immortality Key: The Secret History of the Religion With No Name

The book makes 2 key points specific to OPs post.

The book takes you through all of the literary and architectural references to this religious group. Even going so far as to take you to the Vatican and walking you through all of the references to psychedelic experience you can find there.

PS1: There are multiple examples that can be found in our world of knowledge and things passed down only through women. So that is nothing new.
PS2: Modern Christianity is based upon retelling of older traditions. Knowing that there are substances out there that allow you to "experience god for yourself." What story could be told to those who dont know any better that the substance they are being given will allow them to experience god without actually experiencing anything different? The push back against psychedelics starts making way more sense now.
OP, check out unbound: a woman’s guide to powerby Kasia urbaniak. Or listen to any of the many podcasts she’s been a guest on.
Tl;dr she is a Taoist dominatrix witch. She teaches how to stand in power by refusing to get stuck in the “squeeze” (ie not being totally dominant because that’s for “bad girls” but being unable to be a “good girl” because you’re rightfully fucking furious)
This is my favorite. It's not feminist-specific but I find it feminist friendly! https://www.amazon.com/I-Ching-Workbook-R-L-Wing/dp/038512838X/ref=asc_df_038512838X/?tag=&linkCode=df0&hvadid=312009360408&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=8167762639769078422&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=1014232&hvtargid=pla-491758707759&psc=1&ref=&adgrpid=60223809297&asin=038512838X&revisionId=&format=4&depth=1
I don’t know about rituals and I don’t have ADHD but I do have problems with executive function and I am basically using my visual timer 24/7. (And I have seen this tool be recommended for those with ADHD in a lot of places).
I need to wash the dishes (or do laundry, or pick up the house, or anything else) but it seems like an insurmountable burden? I set it for 15 minutes and then take a break for 5 minutes and then repeat until I run out of steam. And you don’t have to do 15 minutes - you could just do 10 or even 5 minutes. However long works for you. Working for 5 minutes and taking a 5 minute break is more productive than not working at all.
The visual timer is better than using an alarm on your phone, because you can see that time ticking down the whole way. And unlike a phone, there’s no way it can distract you.
And you can definitely adapt this for work, I’ve used it before on days when I WFH and really can’t keep my focus.
I have no advice, but I have a book suggestion:
It's really fascinating. Sorry for the big evil link.
Having a photo of the offender will help any security or law enforcement people to stop the silly.

I looked up this one that is no drill.
Amazon plastic black and white one
This is the closest one I could find but it's plastic. Surprisingly hard to find one that isn't a single color.
This is my exact same CGM routine! The only differences are that I do a dab of the conditioner as a leave-in, and only use the shampoo about once a month (otherwise it's co-washing.)
I've tried other products and routines... only to find that this lazy + cheap one is hard to beat.
OP - if you go curly girl, make sure you get a <strong>scalp "brush"</strong> or you can wind up with an itchy scalp.
In order for divination, of any kind, to work, true-randomness is required.
When you pull runes, cards, toss tea-leaves, whatever, your unconscious-LifeMind is shaping how you do that action, therefore the results are representing the mind/spirit of you and your-meaning, to the degree that you are surrendering-to, relying-entirely-on, & being-living-gratitude-with LivingSpirit ( the technical term for that 3-dimensions inner-yoga is faithing , btw ).
However, such apps usually are using pseudorandom values, which are arbitrary.
Which is why, for divining LivingSpirit's meaning/instruction, they are completely fake.
Use real cards, or find an app that somehow has so-many dimensions of local-randomness getting in, that it actually can have shaped-by-mind/spirit function.

Less unhinged, but Kate Allan's therapets, either from the deck or on her fb page, are gentle reminders and mantras.
We got it from a used bookstore, it's on the older side so some of the text was a bit dated and needed updating, but it's been a good jumping off point for discussions, it's called the winter solstice
It's casual jewelry from a company called AOBEI which can be found on amazon for $12.
Given that knowledge, it can have whatever meaning you want it to.

Thanks! :)
Just in case anyone wants it, one of my favorite stories has a very similar plot. The Calamitous Bob by Alex Gilbert aka Mecanimus.
When I moved here from the South, it was to go to grad school. As someone from the land of feminists with big hair, the female academics had a view of gender stereotypes and toys that made zero sense to me.
They encouraged their male children to play with what would generally be labeled girl toys and only bought their girls toys without the taint of femininity (no Barbies, no pink, etc). Oh well, I figured.
Well, fast forward twenty years and what I do is make toys, which was not where I expected my life to go. I feel very strongly about giving kids the grace to pick their own damn toys. How they play with a toy they identify with would, if adults knew, rock their world. I'm thinking of the book Forever Barbie, where the author sanded off the breasts of her Barbies as a child when her mother was going through chemo. Yeah. Dear adults, let your kid pick their toys.
Have you read Burnout by Emily and Amelia Nagoski?
This is a great read overall, going into why we feel so much anxiety/stress and it offers a number of different exercises to combat it. Written by an actual scientist as well.

Technically, Amazon, but it's HEAVILY modified. The original piece was a solid row of leaf decorations backed by 3 strands of pretty thick wire. It came as an inflexible perfect circle. I attempted to shape it to my head, but a good fit wasn't possible and it was heavy as hell. I ended up stripping off almost all the wire, only the center bit on my forehead was left intact-ish. I then cut the left & right halves into smaller sections, then tied/sewed them onto a shoelace (cut to size obvuously). I attached the front end of each side to the center piece, and connected the two back ends with elastic.
Basically, it was a solid piece on my forehead, jointed on the sides, and a bit of elastic in the back. The modifications were super easy and vastly improved both the weight and fit. I was able to wear it for an 8 hour shift with zero issues.
Hi! i’m not a fan of amazon usually but I didn’t have time this year to go out and get something so I actually got it from there. Hat
Sadly sometimes the bartenders and bouncers are in on it :/ (personal experience). It's really scary and sad.
But yes, stay diligent, sisters and I also suggest getting one of those NightCap Drink Covers!
Get a hot tub if you don't already have one, ignore strangers, a massage chair would be heaven but a foam roller will have to do if finances don't work out.
I just really love crows and I wanted to make some crow paper crafts because the only ones I can usually find are Halloween themed. I love Halloween but I love crows year round and I feed them every day in the Crow Cafe I set up in my backyard. I enjoy drawing and spending time with crows so I made this book as a hobby, I am not a business owner or professional artist or anything like that - just something I worked on outside of my usual job.
If you wanted to make any of these crafts the book is available here.
Honestly, from a comfort food perspective, beans, rice and tortillas are all you need sometimes! If you like cookbooks, these books’ recipes produce pretty spectacular results if you’re looking to learn: The Enchilada Queen and Los Barrios Family Cookbook. Most of them aren’t quick recipes, but they’re worth the time.
I tested the lights before and they aren’t very powerful and don’t get hot. I also only turn them on a few hours a week when we are hanging out together. Source for lights :)
Ooh I loved finding out about this the first time I looked it up! The word ‘lorem’ is derived from the Latin ‘dolorem’, accusative singular of ‘dolor’: ‘pain; hurt’.
In English, the source text from Cicero (referenced by the other commenter) says:
‘Nor is there anyone who loves or pursues or desires to obtain pain of itself, because it is pain, but occasionally circumstances occur in which toil and pain can procure him some great pleasure.’
Which is not exactly correct (I’ve met more than a few people who seek out suffering for its own sake, one way or the other).
More about Lorem Ipsum here!
My mind went straight to some Tiffany window clings I'd seen a couple years ago. Searching for these will bring up clear "crystal" designs and others, as well. In either case, the light bouncing off the mirror will bring a little illumination to the window cling.
I want a period piece miniseries about her. Have you ever read The Sekhmet Bed series. It’s a really good historical fiction on her.
I also had a "not at gun/knifepoint" acquaintance rape in the early 1990s. One book that really helped was Robin Warshaw's book, "I Never Called it Rape."
Everyone has different ways of practicing. I like to create my own rituals and spells without much outside guidance. I prefer this because seeking out information from others has been too overwhelming for me. For me, the key to this way of practicing is paying close attention to my instincts and thoughts.
For example, I have a bunch of objects that I consider personal and sacred that I arrange into an altar whenever I want to vibe. As soon as the thought "I want to put X object here" I do it. If the thought "I need a lit candle" pops into my head, I do it. If I feel compelled to close my eyes and breath, I just do it. You get the point. I don't second guess if it's the "correct" thing to do, I just do whatever comes to me. I guess you could say I believe that these thoughts, no matter how fleeting, are coming to me from a mystical source. They are beyond my usual, rational thinking.
In the long run, I find this way of practicing beneficial because it reveals to me just how much I second guess my own thoughts. This new awareness makes me feel more empowered to trust my intuition in "normal" life, and in general I feel more confident.
If you think you need more structure than that, I highly recommend trying tarot cards. It's very fun and interesting, and can be incorporated into many different rituals. There are many beautiful decks out there, but I started with this one because I wanted to learn more about the symbology.
Try the Berluti knot (video), it holds well even on the nastiest shoes. Or use something like these, they make life way more comfortable.
As for mundane curses, every time I put something in a place different from the usual, I end up forgetting where it is and spend a lot of time searching everywhere but where it actually is.
So the mug source is https://www.lookhuman.com/design/84071-hermit-tarot-card/mug11oz-undefined-one_size . Based on some googling around, while I could be very wrong, it seems to be bespoke art for the site that they then threw at their products. a.k.a. "no deck".
I did find the Modern Witch Tarot Deck by Lisa Sterle at https://www.amazon.com/Modern-Witch-Tarot-Deck/dp/1454938684/ which is pretty flipping sweet. Not the same, but the Hermit does still have a laptop.
Not sure about online/free resources, but I found this book very informative (at a beginner level) and a fun read overall.
Try plucking instead of shaving where those ingrown ones happen most if you can. These save my sanity for my eyebrows and the really dark ones that bother me around my nipples. They're easier to sterilize w/ alcohol (rubbing, not drinking) than a razor blade.
As far as PMS symptoms go, stay hydrated, snack on nuts like walnuts and almonds, and try cheesy broccoli. My go-to meal before I found the birth control that works best for me was pan-seared salmon w/ lemon juice and garlic salt, and cheesy broccoli on top of brown rice or brown and wild rice pilaf. Too much salt at that point is bad, but the Vit B, D, and calcium from those specific foods helped my system balance itself better.
This is one of my best purchases of all time: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B000X6K9J8
I highly recommend this or something like this, even for people who think they're too tough for one. I use mine all the time.
It’s not a difference of strength, it’s that larger hands have more surface area to apply friction.
Those with smaller hands can increase their surface area with a grippy rubber glove, or one of those rubber garlic peeing mats placed on the lid.
