If you need help pushing past the fear The Gift of Fear is an excellent book (link is for a free PDF version). Best of luck.
> The Gift Of Fear by Gavin DeBecker
From that book, Chapter 4:
"Speaking of crossing a park alone, I often see women violating some of nature’s basic safety rules. The woman who jogs along en- joying music through Walkman headphones has disabled the survival sense most likely to warn her about dangerous approaches: her hearing. To make matters worse, those wires leading up to her ears display her vulnerabil- ity for everyone to see."
If you've never read The Gift of Fear do it. It's incredible and gives instance after instance of why your instincts shouldn't be shrugged off.

What's dumber? Getting the creeps off a dude in an elevator and deciding to take the stairs, maybe making him feel awkward. OR Feeling uncomfortable about a guy and getting in a locked metal box that he can easily stall by pulling the emergency button?

Give yourself permission to run to your car and lock the doors quickly when you get the chills. Give yourself permission to turn down a guys advance JUST because you are getting a weird vibe and no other reason. Give yourself permission to act out of fear. Because you might be picking up on patterns and clues that you aren't consciously aware of that is giving you red flags. Believe them. Worst that can happen is you err socially. But you should be able to say "Yeah I got the creeps from that guy so I didn't want to risk it." and have it be enough.
Right!? "When men say no, that's the end of the issue. When women say no, it's the start of a negotiation" - Gavin de Becker, The Gift of Fear
Add to that some porn sick wanker who doesn't know how to be a good lover, and it's a nightmare for most young women.

And I would like to add The Gift of Fear too. Why trusting your gut instincts can save your life.
Your ancestors didn't survive to bring you this far without astute danger detection abilities. You may have smelled something just out range to recognize or any number of sub-awareness sensory feed back.
I assumed that you knew what the Snowden revelations entail. That's a concrete example.
In case you don't: A former CIA employee and NSA contractor who is now living in exile in Russia because he blew the whistle on a number of spying programs and strategies that the U.S. gov. (and others) use for spying on basically everyone in the modern world. Big tech companies (incl. Microsoft via all its platforms) were revealed, in excruciating detail, to be heavily involved in these procedures. You should honestly check it out if you haven't heard about it.
One such program is the PRISM program: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PRISM_(surveillance_program)
Keep in mind that PRISM is just one of many spying programs that big tech participate~~d~~(!) in. Also, the spying programs are not independent endavours. They are intertwined.
It's even possible to read the documents that Snowden revealed yourself.
Here's one of the PRISM docs explaining in great detail how (some of) the actual spying works: https://the-eye.eu/public/WorldTracker.org/Truth/NSA%20Files%20%28Raw%20Documents%20%2B%20Whistleblower%20Edward%20Snowden%20Interview%29/TOP-SECRET-NSA%20PRISM%20slide%20show.pdf
The entire ordeal is too big to even summarize in just in comment on Reddit.
If you don't think that's a concrete example of MS spying on it's users then I don't know what to tell you.
Our servers are under a heavy load right now due to the notorous reddit hug of death. We think our sponsor Datapacket will probably be able to pull us through, but it's still under heavy load. You can learn about our sponsor here
You can see the server stats here: https://the-eye.eu/tools/
Given load it'll be a drag right now, you rom dudes are insane, read this if you want to speed things up and get things we're not hosting on site right now.

https://www.reddit.com/r/Piracy/comments/968sm6/a_script_for_easy_downloading_of_emuparadise_roms/
Good news, you can still use Emuparadise. This script works just fine, I still use it myself, and it'll work for mostly everything. The only issue is that Dreamcast games can't be downloaded due to originally having two download links depending on what file type you wanted. In most cases though, this will be your best bet. Protip: Nintendo-developed games can't be found from using the site's search bar, but can be found by simply googling the name of the game and "emuparadise. For example, "Metroid Prime emuparadise" or "Mario Sunshine emuparadise".
If you're looking specifically for Nintendo sets, or games from Nintendo's newer systems (Wii, Wii U, 3DS, and even Switch), then take a look at this. You'll likely run into a "this downloaded has exceeded the quota" error with certain google drive sets, but a workaround is detailed.
https://the-eye.eu/public/rom/
For everything you can't acquire from the last two sources, then the-eye should be your go-to. This is great, easy to navigate, with no-nonsense direct downloads. Keep in mind that game sets can come and go; the site is considered more of a digital library than a rom site.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, as someone who runs the largest on purpose open directory for this community, if you have to ask you're not qualified. All you'll do is waste your time, your money and ultimately fail in what you wish to achieve.
If you want to share your files with this community send them to me and I'll host them on the-eye.
These are all in pdf? If you mean the entire Playboy collection, The Eye hosts an impressive library. Plenty of other issues can also be found on the web, both digital and scanned.
I found the source.

When I passed a delivery driver in the hallway at work. In the brief 1-2 seconds that we made eye contact, I knew something bad was about to happen because my blood ran cold. Unfortunately I was right, he tried to follow me home. After several miles of following me, I managed to ditch him in a Walmart. My company and the police had to get involved.
I've commented about it several times before. If your gut tells you that you're in danger, please please trust it.
Please also read the Gift of Fear. It's been recommended to me a number of times here on reddit due to that incident. You can download a free .pdf, a shout out to user/RunAMuckGirl for posting this link.
They actually have a great response for the DMCA requests over there on https://the-eye.eu/ You should check it out some time.

But no, actually, if it's a real DMCA request, it is honored by the staff over there if I remember correctly. The above is just a joke.
>It’s so sketchy it seems it’s from tv
It doesn't surprise me. Some people like Bertram Gross knew this sort of thing was going on back in the seventies. I'm sure there were others before that. People thought it was a conspiracy theory, but Gross noted that there were millions of unaccounted monies transferred to judges' accounts (speculating it probably came from corporate lobbyists)*. The only thing shocking about this is the proximity of Cohen to Trump. There were rumors of this with past administrations, but now it is being exposed. The truth is coming out.
The good news is that journalism is checking this corruption and this works against Gross's checklist of a Friendly Fascist state.

Do people think her defense will hold any water? She has been caught on camera doing her social chameleon thing many times (changing her voice), she appears to be a demonstrated narcissist or heavily borderline personality disorder. It's like her defense, her having a child, and everything she's done since being caught has all been a way to avoid responsibility for actually putting people in danger by propagating the false claims and delivering erroneous results to patients who depended on the results to help them with their fucking cancer treatments.
It's very common for people with BPD or NPD to fall into very toxic relationships with each other, it's very common to see NPD males and BPD females in traditional cis relationships (Masterson, Disorders of the Self, 1995). Also, magical thinking. She's competent to stand trial and competent enough to know that what she was doing was wrong, and she should be punished for it.
What makes me sick about her defense is she is trying to use the very real issues that have impacted other women in the #metoo movement (who do not have anywhere close to her privilege) and trying to use it as a shield. The first thing to be aware about her is her father was culpable in the Enron scandal (happened when she was 17), her father did not face significant consequences for his actions, and personality disorders often start in early childhood due to poor parenting. Yes, she's not culpable for Enron or her mental illness, but her evasiveness of responsibility in her defense indicates she is still incredibly delusional and has learned absolutely nothing. This is the type of culture that capitalism breeds.
I have not, but I did come across a relevant book recently. It's called "A Guidebook for Priests and Priestesses of Shetaut Neter and the Organization of the Modern Neterian Temple." Here's the link.
The forward has a section on Khepri and the Creation Myth, but I imagine the sections on choosing a tutelary divinity and the disciplines and rituals of followers would be particularly relevant.
Thanks I just checked that out. Looks like open source stuffs. I'm hoping to find things like iPlanet, Oracle, Peoplesoft, legal software, factory software, firmware, commercial ISOs, etc. Maybe if I start a sub-reddit and kick things off by uploading the few I have access to it will catch on? Haven't found many good torrents for this stuffs either.
EDIT: https://the-eye.eu/public/MSDN is the best I found so far. Thanks to this sub for helping me find that.

I've been reading Complex PTSD: from Surviving to Thriving and I'm not all the way through it, but it sounds as if you're experiencing an emotional flashback, and this could be triggered by just a look or tone someone uses, or sometimes you're unable to find the source of the trigger...anhow, from what I've read so far the book is pretty helpful.
Have you bought your books yet? If not, The Gift Of Fear is available via pdf download for free here

I've always seen this site tossed around. I'm sure most know of it, but in case you didn't. No MITD from what I can see though.
First off you need to understand that it wasn’t your fault.
Those dark places? That wasn’t you. That was your father and whomever else abused you.
I would suggest that you make sure your therapist is helping you reframe your abuse so you have a better understanding of the dynamic of what was really going on.
For instance I was feeling a great deal of guilt because soon after I was out of an abuse I’ve situation (staying with a particular family group who were abusers) my sister was sent out to the same family group where she, too, was subject to abuse. I was wracked with guilt and my therapist stopped me and asked me “did you think that you had been abused? (No, I didn’t understand what was happening) How old were you at the time? (I was 9-10) What would expect an average 9-10 year old to do that would “save the day?”
Ummm…
Then she asked “why do you believe 9-10 year old you knew what you know now?”
I hope you can relate here. I also hope your therapist can help you reframe your experiences so you can create good, strong, cognitive coping tools that help you work thru all this dread, shame, toxic shame and self blame.
I will suggest that you read “toxic shame: healing the shame that binds you” by Bradshaw
https://creativegrowth.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/bradshaw_shame-1.pdf
And look into this book about Complex PTSD - which I learned about here.
Start with the Bradshaw book. It will give you a very good baseline to work with.
> "Yo, read that book."
Yes, I agree. This book is a must read.

If we're talking about the site, the-eye.eu, then yes. It's ran by /u/-Archivist, a moderator for this subreddit. All it contains is many terabytes worth of collected content from himself and others he has worked with.
There is only one absolutely reliable way to decide: try it. Do it. At a certain point study without practice will only confuse and complicate. Pick a source you like and see what happens. If it doesn't work for you, try something else
To that end I always recommend this pamphlet to beginners. All practice, hardly any theory, to get you started. https://the-eye.eu/public/Books/Ocult/Pop%20Magic%20by%20Grant%20Morrison.pdf
I recommend this pamphlet. It's all practice and almost no theory. You can dive in and get started doing occultism with whatever theoretical model you like and have researched https://the-eye.eu/public/Books/Ocult/Pop%20Magic%20by%20Grant%20Morrison.pdf
Then the theory can come later, informed by your experiences. Too many people do it the other way around
https://the-eye.eu/public/rom/
This is one of the best rom sites I've ever used, since it has roms for almost every console (it has more stuff too though).
The only downside is that you can only download 2 roms at a time.
Or just play them all for free here: https://the-eye.eu/public/Games/eXo/eXoDOS_v3.11/eXoDOSRPG/
Includes a front end, browsable by genre, publisher, developer, release year, etc.. Includes screen shots, cover scans, and manuals. And everything is already setup to run.
Holy Shit, this is literally all I was looking for!
A torrent would be great, But I wonder if u/-Archivist from The-Eye would want to host something like this when it's complete.
There is floating around a complete version of all lectures and files from York University for Year 1. Has anyone seen anything else of this ilk
Finally, on the legal issues thing. We're DataHoarders, hoarding linux iso, Universities are likely going to be tamer about their content and unless you're selling it (p.s. Don't) they're unlikely to come down with the full force of the DMCA

Yo waddup commenter this is ya boi Gary Oak, here's the textbook for free, smell ya later
BTW, I hope this doesn’t get too buried, but we all somehow missed something. In the 1977 monster manual, we saw that the illustrators were David Trampier and David C. Sutherland III (both of whom have drawings of weird unicorn gargoyles). But somehow we missed that there were two other illustrators as well: Tom Wham (who interestingly I reached out to coincidentally for other reasons but never heard back) and Jean Wells. So there are two more leads we need to look up.
From what I understand-
Compatibility mode. This often doesn't work, but it sometimes does. Right-click on the game, click Properties, click Compatibility on the top, then check the box for "Run this program in compatibility mode for:," then select the Windows version you want it to think it is running on.
dgVoodoo: An absolutely amazing program that can sometimes get older games running on modern computers. A tutorial on how to use it (and link to the download) can be found here: https://www.play-old-pc-games.com/compatibility-tools/dgvoodoo-tutorial/
Virtual machine: Set up a virtual machine via a program such as VirtualBox or VMWare Player that will allow you to run games and other programs on a virtual Windows computer of your operating system choice. There are tutorials on how to set them up (look them up,) and https://the-eye.eu/public/ has several Microsoft ISOs in the "MSDN" and "Operating Systems" sections if you need an ISO for the setup.
PCEmu - A type of emulator for older PCs. I have never actually done this, so look up a tutorial if you are interested.
These are the methods I know. Sorry if I was not particularly descriptive or helpful, but I am only saying what I know to be useful.
Download wget.exe. Put it in a folder where you want to put your roms in. Then copy and paste this command into notepad: >wget -m -np -c --no-check-certificate -R "index.html*" "https://the-eye.eu/public/rom/Nintendo%20Gameboy%20Advance/"
Save it into your roms folder as a .bat file and run it. When the command is done, delete the .bat file and wget.exe. You now have a GBA romset!
edit:btw it's 13 gb

is there an easy way to download that whole directory? - for research purposes ofc
nvm. without the 504 error the page already displays a solution: > wget -m -np -c --no-check-certificate -R "index.html*" "https://the-eye.eu/public/rom/"

There is a tool to manage the music stored on a modded Xbox's HDD:

Update 2: Further, but still doesn't work when searching the PC for MP3 files to convert. Error '52'! :( You need to change the path from C:\ to a location you have access to or run as Administrator - VirtualXboxCDRipper.exe.
Update 3: I see. The application on older versions of Windows could add these registrations for the OCX and DLL files. One more to add for id3com.dll. Strings found inside the application:
Still seems to hang when converting an MP3 to WMA, or it uses a super slow conversion algorithm. So, still not working...

Not OP, but here's a great start:
THE SACRED MUSHROOM AND THE CROSS: A study of the nature and origins of Christianity within the fertility cults of the ancient Near East by John M. Allegro
People in the comments keep saying that it's weird that he's insecure but it's really not. If you're a person of color these stereotypes are foisted upon you and are internalized. Maybe it's hard for some people to understand but it always is if you're not a target of racism. And that's the fact that people are gliding past: his insecurity has to due with racism.
OP I recommend seeking out affirming images of Asian men and sensuality, and trying to expose him to it. These can be books, movies, k-pop, whatever. You can do some reading here about the origins of the stereotype and why it exists. It puts things in context.
/u/Seaturtle5 this seems to be the collection you have, mine being updated a little with less organisation.

Probably not really what you are looking for, but the-eye seems to have some apple ads and conference videos. Haven't watched any of them, but i guess it can't hurt to check them out https://the-eye.eu/public/AppleArchive/

Didn't find a 404, perhaps try refreshing? Or maybe this link, which doesn't contain a space. We have a custom hosting solution, but it has been up for me all week.
This is a nonprofessional community collaboration, intended to reach people who need the information. Unfortunately there aren't very good "legitimate" conduits for distributing this kind of material en mass. So I apologize if the ads and setup have a jenky grey market feel :)
For any other Windows ISOs that isn't LTSB: Techbench by WZT
LTSB, MSDN archive (Thanks to TheEye): TheEye Archives
If you want to 'translate' the LTSB to your language (es-ES, pt-BR) or something else, check this link (thanks to MDL users): LTSB 2016 SVF Repo.
I strongly recommend the KMS_VL_ALL from abbodi1406 from MDL forums, much easier, much better than KMSPico or MSToolkit and it activates VStudio and Office too.
And just a quick opinion about the latest Creators Update, it sucks, the 1607 is faster than this crappy 1709 version, i have a decent machine btw.
If I remember correctly it has some typos and errors though. Specifically I remember the puzzle boy walkthrough being wrong. The guides on gamefaqs are good though. Alex's guide has been used quite a bit.

You need a copy of Visual Studio 2008. You can find ISOs on archive.org or the-eye.eu/public/MSDN. To get started with creating apps if you have little Visual C++ experience, I recommend .NET CF.
“Grant Morrison’s Disinfocon lecture” is probably the best places to start. It’s funny and inspiring
ChaosMatrix is an old archive site that has many articles on chaos magic
U/TommieKelly is a practicing chaos magician that has all sorts of resources on chaos magic. He’s probably the best when talking about chaos magic, because he’s grounded and not too crazy (Grant Morrison is a little wild)
For me the best way to get into chaos magic is to start doing sigils. Sigils are a staple of chaos magic. The Sigil magic Seminar teachs about all kinds of Servitors including thought forms and magic words. Best place to start in my opinion.

[S] An update to the Wildlife on One torrent I posted here a few months back with 8 additional episodes. Will hash.
Wildlife on One (BBC, 1977-2005)
>Here are 130 episodes (of 253) from BBC's Wildlife on One, a David Attenborough narrated nature documentary series that ran for 33 seasons from 1977-2005. This show likely represents the greatest proportion of Attenboroughs narrated work that has remained unreleased. Only around 20 episodes of this show were ever released commercially on VHS and were packaged under the name Wildlife Specials in the late 80s (before another BBC/Attenborough series coopted that name). This torrent contains some rips from those tapes but also 100+ TV captures, also Included is a wildlife specials promo and a zip file containing all the title cards.

Like others on here have said, his actions sound like abuse.
Why Does He Do That is a book that was written by a counselor who specializes in working with controlling and toxic/abusive men. He uses his knowledge of how abusers think and his history of work to help women understand if their relationship has escalated to abuse, recognize abusive and controlling behavior in their partners, and inform women on how to leave an abusive relationship.
You can read it here for free.
Unfortunately, you cannot change him, and you can't control whether or not he does something super harmful/abusive like ruining your reputation. But this book has helped me and other women I know a lot, and it can help you feel in control of yourself and protect yourself from his abuse.
Good luck <3

This is the best one I've used so far, no ads no Google drive, no bullshit.
Also, why do you have a picture of a PA Vita as the pic for the post?
I think that's normal as the Xbox tries to load a game disc before booting the dashboard from the HDD.
You could reflash your TSOP with the M8plus BIOS patching it with EVTool v1.0.9 to set the LBA48 configuration to match your current HDD configuration - Partition 6 Takes up to 137GB / Partition 7 Takes Rest - and uncheck the DVD Drive Check toggle. Save the BIOS under a new name, upload it to your Xbox and flash your TSOP.

Alexandria Library was shut down due to legal pressure from Pluralsight for hosting pirated study materials for IT certifications: https://www.reddit.com/r/opendirectories/comments/87oqxy/alexandria_library_is_burning_again_grab_n_go/ so I highly doubt that material will ever show up on The Eye.

Thanks for sharing your perspective. Chapter 2, page 27 if you want to read more on the narc cluster of SPD. Dependence on approval and validation can very much still be a schizoid trait with different ways that they present themselves in behavior. Everyone is a bit different of course.
Human behavior, and SPD, is a spectrum. If you read all the identity disorders in the DSM, you’ll find a lot of overlap. This is because they’re basically meaningless labels that have been categorized from recording the observable phenomenon of behavior. The key trait for SPD lies in the fragmented self and deeply disconnected internal state, neural circuits, etc that only expands over a lifetime without intentional work. This is much different from a megalomaniac or malignant narcissist. But, grandiosity can be as simple as assuming that someone else has the same opinion as you do. In that case, it’s easy to miss social cues and act in ways that are self-protecting of ones identity, even if they’re not intended to be self-aggrandizing. In that sense, yes we can still be bothersome, as you put it, in certain contexts - especially when triggered and defensive.
This is the only similar archive I have found so far. Wish I had backed up more from The Trove before it went down... Unfortunately this site I have linked doesn't seem to have any of the newer releases from the last couple of years such as Tasha's.
A quick Google turned up this. Not sure if that's the latest version before they took it down.
> "easy reading"
