Drastic.
It is the best DS emulator for android

Well I sadly don't know of any, but I do use a program called "Parsec" that allows me to play multiplayer with friends which technically makes every single emulator have Cross Play NetPlay.
You basically stream your PC to your friends and if they have a Controller plugged into their computer your own PC will recognize said controllers.
Definitely check it out, it's been an amazing program for me!
If you're talking about the emulator itself to play games with: MelonDS would be your best bet for multiple reasons.
But as for the DS games themselves? Asking for DS games with no touch screen controls is like asking someone else for Wii games with no motion controls. Sure, it's totally possible to find games without such enhanced controls, but you'll just end up with a super limited library of games to play with on the system. If you want a somewhat decent list of games that don't (necessarily) use touch screen controls for the Nintendo DS: Click here for more information. Hope this helps ;)
If you are downloading from cloud/sharing service that do not provide a direct link to the file use JDownloader 2.
If the site provides a direct link you can use JDownloader as well but I personally recommend HTTP Downloader it handles the connection much better than JDownloader.
https://haveibeenpwned.com/ is a pet project by someone from Microsoft(I forget who) but you can search these hacked databases to see if your information is exposed. As well as receive emails when new data breaches go public.
https://the-eye.eu/public/rom/
This is one of the best rom sites I've ever used, since it has roms for almost every console (it has more stuff too though).
The only downside is that you can only download 2 roms at a time.
Download wget.exe. Put it in a folder where you want to put your roms in. Then copy and paste this command into notepad: >wget -m -np -c --no-check-certificate -R "index.html*" "https://the-eye.eu/public/rom/Nintendo%20Gameboy%20Advance/"
Save it into your roms folder as a .bat file and run it. When the command is done, delete the .bat file and wget.exe. You now have a GBA romset!
edit:btw it's 13 gb
I have a personal Nintendo Power collection, there are still missings in between and up till a certain number scans are not available.
For Prima guides, you can check https://the-eye.eu/public/Books/retrowith.in/Prima%20Guides%20Gathering%20Project%202009/ and https://the-eye.eu/public/Books/retrowith.in/PrimaEguideUpdate53guides/
It's a little tough depending on what you like to play.
Game wise Sonic The Hedgehog series, Streets Of Rage series, Zombies Ate My Neighbors, Road Rash, Comix Zone, ESWAT, and Golden Axe all interesting ones all on the Sega Genesis.
It looks like MX is Debian based. If you want to give your rom collection a nice looking launcher you can install RetroPie on Debian based distros. Instructions to do so are here
You can install AltStore to get Delta, which is a multi system emulator that can run DS games as well. It's a bit of a pain to set it up, and it requires the apps to be refreshed every 7 days, but it works and it doesn't require jailbreak.
Okay so let's start from the top. If you are looking to get deeper into emulation I would take a moment to sort of fix things nicely.
I would create a Retro Games folder, and then inside that create an emulators folder Download RPCS3 here. Open the downloaded file, create a PS3 folder in your emulators folder, and drag everything from the zip into it.
Next download the PS3 system software from here. Now open RPCS3, go to File, click install firmware, and then in the new window open the PS3UPDAT.PUP you downloaded earlier. Now RPCS3 will go through installing system files.
When it comes to games RPCS3 handles them one of two ways.
Disc based games can be stored anywhere. (I would put them in something like Games>Sony>PS3). You then click File, add games, and search for the disc image you downloaded. It will then be added to your games list, but if you move your games you have to re-add them to the RPCS3 list.
Digital content usually comes in the .pkg format. You can add these by either dragging and dropping them into the RPCS3 window or clicking file then install packages/raps. Most digital content also needs a rap file to function correct. It is basically an unlock key. Digital games get installed to RPCS3\dev_hdd0\game\[NPXXXXXXX] (Game title ID)
Flash Point, r/FlashGames, and r/GamePreservationists might be able to provide some more insight on how they work, and perhaps how to compile them.
Always awesome to see people learn and share information. Thanks for taking the time to look into it and get a ball rolling. Every little bit helps.
Pokemon X and Y are for the 3DS, not the original DS.
You'll need a different emulator for that. Citra is basically the only worthwhile one.
Read a guide?
Hmm, I wonder what did they mean by this?
"Typical layout of a Blu-ray disc title's directory: PS3_GAME folder, PS3_DISC.sfb, PS3_UPDATE folder (not required)"
"Blu-ray disc title data can be placed in \dev_hdd0\disc\ or anywhere else except for \dev_hdd0\game\ and can be booted from File > Boot Game if not present on the game list."
So of course, making a PKG out of what you have is a waste of time.
I found the Japanese version over at The Eye:
The only other viable DS emulator on PC is melonDS. You need bios for it, but that can be easily acquired.
That said, I finished Ghost Trick on DeSmuME not too long ago and had no problems with it.
According to CDromance it's basically a rom hack that allows evolution through other methods other than trading. Likely meant for the games that have emulators with no ability to trade.
Source: https://cdromance.com/nds-roms/pokemon-platinum-version-randomizer/
For modern systems you'll need dual analog.
Current Xbox controllers are the default option because Microsoft makes it easy to use on a pc. You'll need to install a Microsoft app to make it all work.
I use a Playstation 4 / Dualshock 4 controller because I just like them better and they're the 2nd most popular option. But you'll just need to install a package called DS4Windows which you can get here - https://github.com/Ryochan7/DS4Windows/releases
Project64 is easier to use as Retroarch but the Retroarch Mupen64Plus core has better emulation.
It´s up to you. P64 is a fast start but RA offers much more than only N64 emulation, needs more configuration and (a little bit) knowledge from the wiki tho.

Project64 (since years without pop up/ unwanted software)
.ips and .bps are patches that have to be applied to the base rom.
floating IPS is a .ips patcher for PC, there are other tools to patch .bps
Look for rom patchers on play store, maybe https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.xperia64.rompatcher&hl=en ?
Yep, agreed completely. I recommend the English fan-translation of Culdcept DS. It's a game that plays a bit like a cross between Monopoly and Magic: The Gathering (or some other CCG). You go around a board collecting tolls and 'buying' squares like monopoly, but you summon creatures on those squares rather than making buildings, and level them up to make them stronger and increase their tolls. An opponent landing on your square can either pay the toll or fight your creature with one from their hand. Both battlers can also boost their creature's stats during battle using single-use equipment cards.
EDIT: It should be mentioned that DraStic is the best DS emulator available for Android, and is well worth the $5 price tag. I wouldn't settle for anything else, myself (especially since all the other options I've found are super slow unless you have an extremely powerful phone/tablet).
Go to fast.com and measure ur speed, mine is usally 120 mbps which is equal to 20 megabytes persecound, so it would take me 1050 secounds to download a 21 gb file, which means around 20 minutes to download it fully, if chrome says you are downloading a file slower then your internet speed, then it means the website/server that your downloading from is slow
https://anonfiles.com/B2b6CaM3o0/sm640pc_us_wiiu_7z
This is what I used to get it, hopefully it works for you too. Make sure to select the correct country though.
Yes those emulator front ends can read the roms themselves but you will have to configure them with retroarch, or other stand alone emulators. https://archive.org/details/no-intro_romsets
https://the-eye.eu/public/rom/
Happy gaming!!!
it's not an iso, it's a vpk file for psvita games
Here you go, I found it on the-eye.eu
What you need to do is obtain an .iso (example), then use xbox image browser to pull it apart. Note that you need EVERYTHING from the ISO, not just the xbe.
The server occasionally skips a beat and the connection gets closed.
The solution is to use a real downloading tool like wget rather than relying on your browser.
If you actually tried the link you would find this link
They're safe but I wouldn't bother with the PSP version of Zero, especially since you have a laptop. The PSP translation is awful, and the Geofront patch on PC is better in every way.
You can torrent a prepatched version here.
Here's the RPCS3 Quickstart Guide. And here's BSoD Gaming's RPCS3 Setup Video. Between these two links you should be able to get RPCS3 Setup. If your game is folders and not a single file please make sure you read the Quickstart guide and look for the folder location to put games. BSoD Gaming will walk you through the rest. Start with these.
No.
If you want to play them on your PC, play the PC versions.
Also, you could've solved your own question rather easily if you just checked RPCS3's compatibility list.
The RPCS3 quickstart guide will show you where to get the latest one and how to install it.
The old system update files that come with a game is not needed for RPCS3.
Just tested the site, downloaded a rom I didn't have and it worked fine. Not keen on being unable to search alphabetically, but that's fine.
A site that I've had some decent success with is https://www.downloadroms.io/roms/

edit, I uploaded this to the-eye last Saturday using rlcone via google drive. I can't find it now on the-eye, surprised if it was deleted as they already have the latest ExoDos.
Hint, search google drives there are a couple of links out there and also the latest snapshots updated since TDC16 release.
https://the-eye.eu/public/rom/Sega%20Saturn/Darkwater/ Here you go, just click on the region you want and it should have what you're looking for.
http://emulation.gametechwiki.com/index.php/Sega_Saturn_emulators I'm not too familiar with Saturn emulation, so I would look here for which emulator to use. If you have a powerful enough PC, retroarch with the mednafen Saturn core seems like your best bet.
Vimm is so slow as of late. This is still not the fastest, but its at least a little faster on download https://the-eye.eu/public/rom/Nintendo%20Gamecube/
https://the-eye.eu/public/rom/Nintendo%203DS/
Choose your region and you're good to go.
Currently you can only download 2 roms at a time because of high traffic.
Yeah, CDRomance is safe. It doesn't try to get you to download some program and it doesn't redirect you to a mess of ads. The site is also pretty good at updating patched games.
It's a rather short game at around 15 hrs to 20 hrs if your taking your time completing it. There is a sequel on Ps2 as well but it pales in comparison. If your interested and currently using a reputable VPN here's the Rom https://cdromance.com/psx-iso/brave-fencer-musashi-usa/ Enjoy!
https://cdromance.com/ps2-iso/shin-megami-tensei-persona-3-fes-usa/
Be warned cdromance has a lot of sketchy pop up ads and links may go through ad fly but it will work. Also the emulator is a bit finnicy so pm me if you need help getting it set up.
stay away from websites that need your admin rights but some ask for them but dont need them to download the roms idk why(https://wowroms.com/ are the sites i use)
edit: bot told me some links are bad now only the one i use the most
Apple doesn’t allow emulators on their AppStore, so you have two main options:
1) A web-based emulator like Eclipse that is a website you add to your home screen. Pros: simpler to use than other options. Cons: because it is a website, it is subject to limitations as opposed to taking full advantage of your phone’s hardware.
2) Sideloading an app like Delta using AltStore. Pros: better performance because it is a proper app. Cons: more complicated to set up and maintain.
First, download this emulator
https://www.fosshub.com/ZSNES.html
Then find earthbound on this list and download it
https://ia802900.us.archive.org/zipview.php?zip=/10/items/SNES201808/ROMS.zip
Then open the game with zsnes and play it. Change the controls and stuff in the settings if you want.
Here you go I grab most my roms from the-eye (their alvro collection might not be up to date not sure though [what others have told me])
Try this (wget command): wget -r --no-parent --no-check-certificate -c -A "(USA)*" https://archive.org/download/noIntroNintendoDsDecrypted2019Jan03
Will download only the games with (USA) in their title.
If you don't know how to use wget, you can see the first 5 pages of this guide: http://the-eye.eu/public/Wget_Windows_Guide.pdf
Then paste in the command above into your command prompt, and press enter key.
ive used it for years now and never had a issue. its actually called jdownloader 2. I use it in arch linux and win 10 never had a issue with a virus or malware since it has been installed not sure if the windows version might of had adware but if it did u opt out but I dont think it did.
You can try ask other people but my experience has been great with it.
you can use for some servers, some tool like uGet.
it shouldn't make downloading faster, but it can help with reliability by minimizing the possibility of corruption in time consuming downloads.
besides that, I would have nothing more to recommend.
cheers!
Not attacking you, but the fact that you're using a Mac shouldn't impede you from opening those archives. The standard Mac program used for .zip files doesn't cut it for everyday use; I suggest either Unarchiver or Keka for future use. You can open .7z/.rar/.zip files with those (source: me).

As far at the actual file goes, I'll PM you.
First, be sure you have Persona 3 FES and not Portable; CDRomance provides both. You can also check the megathread for another download source. Be sure to search for the game's full name: Shin Megami Tensei - Persona 3 FES.
Secondly, use 7zip to extract the ISO from the 7z container.
Lastly, in PCSX2 you can load any game for any region with one BIOS. If a region lock is triggered, just use the Fast Boot option.
It's a 7z archive. 7z are like rar or zip archives, but you can only use 7zip to unzip them. Download 7zip here and unzip the file. You will obtain a iso file you can use with dolphin emulator or a home-brewed wii
When you see .rar, .zip, .7z, it means the rom is compressed.
Download and install 7-Zip (https://www.7-zip.org/a/7z1900-x64.exe) Then right click on the .rar > 7-Zip > extract here. Now you should see your .gba rom.
EDIT: as godwearsblack has pointed out, soul silver is a NDS ROM and it has the extension .nds. VisualBoyAdvance is a GBA emulator and you need a NDS emulator instead, like desmume or melonDS.
Those files are archive files, which means the files in them need to be extracted before they can be used (some emulators do allow for .ZIP files to be used, however I don't know if Dolphin does) .ZIP files can be extracted by most operating systems natively. Right click the .ZIP file, and there should be some option to extract the files.
But for .7z files, you need to use this program called 7zip: https://www.7-zip.org/
Once 7zip is installed, right click on the .7z file you downloaded, hover over "7-Zip," then click, "Extract Here..."
And, yes, these ROMs do work once they are extracted.
MelonDS and DraStic are regarded as the best ones.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=me.magnum.melonds
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dsemu.drastic
MelonDS is free, though DraStic gives better performance on older devices.
I'd recommend giving MelonDS a try first, then go for DraStic if you don't get playable performance.
ProtonVPN is free and I believe they are trusted (same company as Protonmail which is a higher security email). They have paid options for accessing more countries but the free still gives you a few different options.
That one solder blob right next to the pin on the chip looks sketchy (bottom left pin). Looking at the xenoGC instructions online, it looks like those are not supposed to touch.
You don't have a multimeter? You can get a cheap one for like 8 bucks at a hardware store. I'd double check that those two points aren't connected, by testing the resistance between the pins. If it's really low, that means the pins are touching, and you'll have to clean that up.
There's some tools you can use to remove solder, like this tool, which is $6.50, if they are touching.
I would buy this lenovo laptop. Its $162 and its got an HDMI outlet so you can hook it up to your television or you could use the screen to play games on it. Linked for the model my mom recently bought. https://www.amazon.com/Lenovo-130S-Bluetooth-Personal-Included/dp/B07S8CGX9X/ref=sr_1_15?keywords=laptop&qid=1572735637&sr=8-15
Also worth mentioning this laptop comes with the S version of windows making it hard to download other stuff. You can easily switch it over to windows regular version for free online. Its not hard as someone described how to do it in the amazon reviews.
It should play a lot of emulators fairly well. Dolphin on the other hand requires an i5 2500 to run reasonably well. I tried running dolphin on my laptop its an i3 and a lot of the games just ran really slow. On my desktop i5 6400 it runs perfect. Like someone else mentioned the Playstation classic can play other games if your really strapped for cash. However its a mixed bag overall. You have to mod it and then use retro arch. Nothing wrong with retro I just like the more simple method of click on one program and the game. Instead of a do everything front end emulator. Just my thoughts.
For emulator, either Project 64 or Mupen64Plus.
https://www.pj64-emu.com/nightly-builds
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.mupen64plusae.v3.fzurita
For the rom, see the spreadsheet automod linked.
Here you go, Amazon, and black, theyll look legit with a label.
Id say almost any old cd-r these days will work just fine, its your personal taste.
In the long long ago, shit really mattered, I wagering that exceptional quality of yesterday is run of the mill today.
If you're using Windows, then 7zip will suffice. If you're using Chrome OS, this app will do it. If you're using another Linux distro, there's probably a similar program in its respective package manager.
DraStic is currently the best emulator that runs DS ROMs smoothly in HD. Personally, it's definitely worth the purchase as other emulators lag and are barely playable. Don't bother looking for DraStic apks online since they don't work. For further questions look on r/EmulationOnAndroid.
Hi, I have followed your steps as you have stated and somewhere I must be doing something wrong... I have just toggled on a few consoles to test it is working, Atari 2600, GBA and Gameboy and Amiga for example... it took ages for them to appear on the Miyoo menu under Games. Now when I click on any game it just goes LOADING, the screen flashes and now it goes back to the list of Games. Is it maybe the MicroSD I am using? I am using this one: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07DGC64BM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
any help is appreciated, this is my first emulator gaming machine. Thank you!
https://m.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_note_4-6434.php
You might be able to play 3DS can't really say
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.swordfish.lemuroid
I also use this emulator for other Nintendo systems
Dolphin emulator is good for Wii and GameCube
i would suggest at least for 3ds pokemon games a samsung note 20 ultra they are only 450$ run the newest android and they are flagships from 2020 come with the snapdragon 865+ and when skyline gets good enough it will be able to run switch games as well https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Electronics-Factory-Unlocked-Smartphone/dp/B08HHT4XTS/ref=sr\_1\_1?crid=6KHF6FCJOND&keywords=samsung+galaxy+note+20+ultra&qid=1668351370&sprefix=samsung+galaxy+note%2Cspecialty-aps%2C106&sr=8-1&sr...
This is the only controller you should be considering at this point: https://www.amazon.com/Ultimate-Bluetooth-Controller-Charging-Gaming-Console/dp/B0B9BGJVLL/
I use this and the mega thread under the retro tab
And zarchiver to uncompress the file to .GBA
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ru.zdevs.zarchiver
Works really good with android
Hmm that's weird. Are you using a VPN?
I use NordVPN sometimes and I swear it throttles my bandwidth for a day or two if I have a lot of traffic
Or maybe you have too many torrents going at once? The default setting for my torrent client only allows so many people I can connect to
I recently found my ds action replay I first bought in 2012 to use for my 3ds but never actually got it working. I'd like to try to get it to work but don't know where to start, all I have is the action replay itself and the cable for it. I bought this one:https://www.amazon.de/Action-Replay-f%C3%BCr-3DS-DSLite/dp/B005LUUWL6
Can anyone help? Every time I insert the card into my 3ds, I get a black error screen to turn off the console. I have no idea where to start, or how to get it working
Would be so cool to have something like this for disc's
I bought a cheap $12 trade link cable off of Amazon but if I'm being real with you the cable was super spotty and only worked when it wanted too. But it still worked nonetheless
Here's a link if you're interested
Tomee 2 Player Link Cable for GBC/ GBP/ GB https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00GKL905O/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_EKZE6K3P9R8DZ20FH462
Private Internet Access, Nord VPN anything like that will do.
The free ones... are usually slow, don't work at all or are not trustworthy (tracking your data and selling it is the last thing you want from a VPN).
https://www.amazon.com/Rii-Bluetooth-Keyboard-Smartphones-Mac-Black/dp/B07T13GLY3/
this is pretty bad, but cheap.
I have one that must be worse than this one because I paid less than $8 for it... and I gave one to my brother-in-law... if you need a wireless keyboard for something really simple... they will do. if you intend to use it a lot... buy something better.
Nextronics Sensor Bar USB for Wii / Wii U / PC https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001UAAX60/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_DHDD6J26WAQWXECEYSR9?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Went through my history for amazon and found it. This is the one i use now and it works pretty flawlessly. I havent used multiple wiimotes with it but with one wiimote it works great
like I said you are going to need a usb stick with enough storage (check a guide for the recommended sizes) and OTG adapter I'll give you a linkto that https://www.amazon.nl/dp/B08R8NDQ98/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_AK4T11RW976YTCWH20HZ
and of course your game files and software required to put on the stick
why don't you use Lemuroid ?
its in the google playstore (and other app stores too, like F-droid) and can emulate a wide variety of consoles on android besides GBA.
Supported Systems:
- Atari 2600 (A26)
- Atari 7800 (A78)

Make sure you're using the latest version of DeSmuME.
In DeSmuME, go to Config > Emulation Settings and turn on "Use dynamic recomplier". Then go to Config > 3D Settings and select OpenGL 3.2 under 3D Rendering Engine.
You can also try the other emulator, melonDS.
You're going to be hard pressed to be able to patch anything on a phone; 9/10 you're going to need the flexibility of a Windows/Linux/macOS computer.
And you're better off just downloading the patched iso's from CDRomance.
I haven't tested the roms offered, however, I would suggest using the roms present in the megathread (follow the automod-bot link) as they are known to be reliable, tested, audited, etc.
probably mGBA (Windows, linux, macOS) will be the best option to play them.
https://mgba.io/downloads.html
finally, as suggested by colleague u/RampartChat Emulation General Wiki is your best source of information about emulators on the internet.
cheers!
From the archive link:
To Download Single ROMs, access here and click ( View Contents ) in the desired set.
Be sure to grab a clean and verified version of the game from the Megathread.
That said, after a quick search, this seems like a PCSX ReARMed, and its variants, issue. I don't know if the emulator has seen any updates to fix it, though.
this anonfiles.com site is shady af. the first four times you click on the download button, it takes you to one of a dozen random sites. the first time it kept presenting the download as a small .exe file and claimed it to be a "download utility" called "sevenzip". if you access the site from a phone it wants to install apps. it's a drive-by just waiting to happen. i'm warning people because the sites it redirects to are malicious. i would never host something on a download site as shady as this.
Managed to decrypt it by moving a seeddb.bin file in the rom folder of this tool. Citra starts up the launching process alright, no more "your rom is encrypted" pop ups, but unfortunately it crashes, so I'm assuming my computer isn't powerful enough to run Citra. Thanks for responding, though
Some DATs are considered forbidden when certain systems and services are active or very recent, for example, redump only made the Wii DATs publically available in a couple of weeks ago.
I don't like to share DATs for games that are currently being supported, but I think the dat of removed content from GOG seems ethical enough, here it goes: https://anonfiles.com/ve65E4B5xe/GOG.com\_Removed\_Games\_DLC\_Extras\_352\_20220103\_zip

what specs are your PC? you need some pretty decent hardware if you want to emulate ps3 well.
rpcs3 is the only good ps3 emulator out right now
you can go to the automod link and vimm.net to find ps3 games that you can use with rpcs3. vimm is slow but they have the safest downloads
i found one on amazon it says it doesnt have a game timebomb should i buy this one?
