It's a Gameboy emulator, my personal favorite. Technically you need to download the ROMs, but once you have them downloaded you can play all your favorite games from that system anywhere; offline or on.
A few of my favorites for a long time and at the moment, for a gamer with Little money
Pc: Stardew valley /r/stardewvalley
Old school RuneScape /r/2007scape
PS3: BF3 /r/Battlefield3
Mobile: Definitely need to have a GBA Emulator
/r/Pubgmobile
Also recently (for me) Yu-Gi-Oh /r/Duellinks
Ive used John GBA lite before to play pokemon emerald and it worked just fine, in the settings you can bind the keys to buttons

John GBA For android
I am not sure what options there are right now on iOS, but some googling can probably find the newest one.
I recommend gettin Friends of Mineral towns as it is the best handheld game in my opinion, it is also perfectly suited for the portable style since it deals with pretty short days.
I have owned both an IOS and a Android so if you need help getting it to work you can always write something here and i will be glad to do a step by step. But for the Android version i recommend getting John GBA or picking one of the links that /u/FyreWhirl posted
I use John GBA Lite it's pretty good - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.johnemulators.johngbalite
Emulators are an untapped treasure trove. For some reason it's really easy to forget they exist. The easiest is maybe GBA if you've never used emulators before and most of the games don't require a controller.
I personally use John GBA, But try then out and use whatever feels good..
And here's a few sites, a quick Google will provide you with dozens more:

I'm currently playing through the Fire Emblem games, once I've finished with the GBA versions I'll switch to 3DS.
Abi gba (gameboy advance) oyunu emulatör lazım. Al bu android telefonlar için GBA emulatörü . Buda Oyunun ROM'u . oyunu açabilmen için oyunun dosyasına (RAR dosyası olmalı) gidip ayıklaman gerek. Buda benim önerim . Görüntü bulanık olabilir. Bu sorunu çözmek için uygulamayı açıp ayarlara (settings) girip Video kısmı olacak orada smoothing diye bir kısım olacak ona basıp smoothing'i kapayabilirsin. Ve bence Metroid Nintendonun yaptığı harika oyunlardan biri.
