This is really the only thing I know of that is close to what you are looking for. It's not out yet, but it looks at least a little interesting.

"Aside from the uterus, there's slightly improved graphics, a few different choices in clothes to wear, the ability to train your dog, and some different cutscenes. "
"Best difference: each chapter is only 1 year long. Which makes it possible to actually get through the game. "
Hope that helps
And here's a download link to all of the icons I made for this and wallpaper. These have all been ripped from Friends of Mineral Town whilst the wallpaper comes from the intro of Harvest Moon SNES.
You could actually play the GBA ones or the DS ones on emulators, the controls for the GBA emulator are actually pretty good, I haven't used the DS one.
If you're on android then download the emulators here:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gemuvn.gba
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dsemu.drasticdemo
I don't know about iOS but I'm sure they'll have similar apps.
You can get the ROMs for free from certain sites if you google them. Either download them directly to your phone or to your PC and then transfer them to your phone.
I played FoMT during one of my lectures (they were boring) a few years ago using this and connecting a wiimote to my phone.
Have you witnessed her heart event yet? The heart level won't rise until you find her event for that heart level. List of heart events and how to get them
The i3 is actually dual core, just has hyperthreading. The i3 can do Dolphin emulation pretty good, but I'm unsure of the 6450. If you're not doing anything fancy with the graphics, I'm sure it'll run it at the standard 640/720x480 resolution. You can also try the PS2 version with PCSX2.
If you need help setting it up, just ask me.
Recettear is, to me, more like Rune Factory with shop management instead of a farm. I like it, but it feels more Aetlier, if you have played those.
Came it to maybe suggest Stonehearth, I haven't played it in a while (it is in Alpha), but I backed the kickstarter at an All-Access-Pass level.
http://stonehearth.net - it is a civ building Sim with various "ways to play" and is supposed to support robust farming in release version.
ANB and/or wait for Story of Seasons for 3DS BokuMono games.
It seems weeds are important. (I had been selling them from the get-go, assuming they were as useless as they were in ToTT. Now I save every one.) You'll need 20 of them later to make decorative bushes to place around town. Apparently, you can also use them to make bamboo groves much later in the game.
Lately, I have been fishing up boots and cans. I don't know if I need them, but the rule of the game seems to be "hoard everything."
According to the guide at fogu, you can sell all your barn dirt without worry. Also, here's a handy beginners guide I just found last night that may help. I wish I'd seen it while I was still in spring. I would have grown more potatoes.
I stumbled into a successful tour on my first attempt and I didn't actually write down what it used, but I wasted five Lion Topiaries-worth of Black Lumber, which slowed me down later on. Here are some successful tours I've compiled from different forums. You can always alternate these with Weather Vane x36 (you can buy all the materials for this from Rebecca) and always have a successful tour.

It's about how the Fatigue/Sick mechanic works. The mechanic is explained in detail here.
But basically, you'll never get sick if you take a medicinal herb before you go to bed and don't use any more tools. That's because the max Fatigue you can have is 100 and eating a Medicinal Herb reduces your Fatigue by 2 and you only get sick if you go to bed with 100 Fatigue. So if you eat the herb immediately before bed then you can never have more than 98 Fatigue when you sleep and therefore you'll never get sick.
It seems like a bit of a design flaw, they probably should have put a higher Max Fatigue so that you need more than a simple herb to recover from being really sick. For this reason, there's almost never any reason in the world to buy any of the Potion Master's potions (except in the Winter, but by then you likely have access to the Hot Springs or a Bathroom anyway) and you can collect Fatigue with impunity. So that's why it's sometimes considered an exploit.

As /r/pokemontas said, you will find that you will fall into a daily schedule. Mine usually is, wake up > tend to the field (Water and ship crops/clean up the field) > tend to the animals. I can usually complete these tasks before 8-9AM. After that I will go collect my love interest's favorite item (Bamboo for Karen is the best because you can find 3 of them each day by the mountain). After I do that and give it to her I will walk around and grab things to ship so I can have a little extra cash in my pocket. If you still have time after doing all this, go grab some extra seeds to plant!
Here are some Gamefaqs for FOMT that I always use when playing through the game!
I have played through the game countless times, so if you have any questions at all feel free to PM me!
In this nice beginner's guide, you'll find that it instructs:
-"Fertilize a potato at least 7 times to get its star rank to 1.5 for the festival at the end of the month."
-"Work towards shipping 30 potatoes, you do not have to do the full 30, but more the better (Spring)"
I'm guessing one (or both) of these instructions are what you're referring to? The latter, shipping 30 potatoes (and then 30 yams later on in fall), is for unlocking a festival sometime in fall later down the line, which is part of completing a set of restoration plans. If I recall correctly, this is important for unlocking another set of restoration plans that give you access to blueprints for Sanjay and Amir's mansion, so it's often seen as something important if you want to marry one of them.
Use lots of flowers, bushes, trees, etc. Try to go for sets too, like the stone bench, stone pillar, and the stone fence. Early on that's about as good as it gets. I usually also add some colored benches and an animal statue, and I do fairly well. I don't think it's possible to do amazing until further along in the game when more decorations are unlocked, but you should be able to do good as long as you don't repeat things.
This gamefaqs thread has a couple examples of how people have done theirs. Hope this was helpful! :)
If I remember correctly, you have to complete the event before you can have the reverse proposal. http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/635388-rune-factory-4/67442097 if you scroll down a bit in this, there's a guide to how to finish the event. Good luck!
RF: Frontier's pretty fun -- the farming system is still there, though you have the option of taming monsters to help out with watering, gathering crops, clearing stumps/rocks, and so forth. The "helper" system isn't forced on you like it is in Tides of Destiny, so you can still do your farming the "old fashioned" way... But taming workers does help out one hell of a lot with balancing time in there for dungeon crawls. And if you want to upgrade your farming tools, you're going to need to do the dungeons.
As far as the runey system is concerned, you don't actually have to go all gung-ho with enforcing runey prosperity in all your zones. Sure, it helps (especially on the money-making front), but sticking with it too religiously can be enough of a pain that it sucks the fun out of the game. There's a guide on GameFAQs that goes over a method for mostly ignoring the runey system, but bear in mind that doing this won't let you accelerate crop growth.
All in all, I've found that RF:F is a great time-killer for those days when I'm not sure if I want to get my Zelda-esque sword-swinging fix or water some damn turnips. Why not do both, right?
I'm not sure about the site you mention, however checking on Amazon they have no stock at the moment: https://www.amazon.com/Harvest-Moon-One-World-PlayStation-4/dp/B08FBVCGPF
And in the NIS store I see this one: https://store.nisamerica.com/preorders/harvest-moon-one-world-limited-edition
I imagine that in the Playstation store they may enable it on March 2
Here is a thread someone made with some detailed testing they did.
The long and short of it is... well, the results are mediocre at best and really not worth it. Because you can only give one gift a day, and the rewards are so mediocre, you'd be better to focus on villagers.
http://www.gamefaqs.com/gba/589702-harvest-moon-friends-of-mineral-town/faqs/52238
Read the sections on gift points and heart levels, and then read Karen's section to find out how much the gifts you're giving her are worth. I'm not sure if subsequent gifts in a day have lowered effectiveness on FoMT; someone else will have to answer that tidbit.
I thought Natsume has been on the development team of several past Harvest Moon Games (not just publisher, but also developer)?
I think that there is a Japanese company, Natsume Company Ltd. , (the one that does lots of developing, including Lost Valley, I thought?) and Natsume Inc. Which is in the USA and mostly does publishing/translation, but has a few mobile games developed.
CeeCee from Natsume had a lot to say about this on the GameFAQs board.
http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/804159-harvest-moon-3d-the-lost-valley/69557563
As always, release dates that come from a game store are placeholders. Until it comes from us at Natsume, it's not official :) Plushie plans aren't finalized, so GS may be jumping the gun a little calling it exclusive, but I guess we'll see.
The big premium plushies from SOTA (12-14" tall) would be more apropos of a CE bundle; the plush coming with the GameStop pre-order will be size-wise similar to other plushie pre-order bonus (in the 4-7" height range). The blue-bandana version was unique to E3, and is not planned to be a pre-order bonus at this time.
Yeah I might just do that!
Whenever I play I always make sure I have my handy GameFaqs ready.
This is the one I use for relationships: http://www.gamefaqs.com/gba/589702-harvest-moon-friends-of-mineral-town/faqs/52238
Shows all the items the girls really love/love/like/dislike/hate.
It also tells you how/when to activate heart events.
update: downloading ds4windows totally solved the issue for me. install it and make sure it recognises your controller, then open steam and you should see a steam popup in the corner telling you its found an xbox 360 controller; then open your game and it should work!
I found this:
http://fogu.com/hm11/farm/trees.php
But it seems that you should have Cherries already?
http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/645735-harvest-moon-3d-a-new-beginning/64905835
According to this too, you should have cherries =/
I don't know if this helps, but did you check ebay? Here's one going for $10.00
Nah, that's where I got mine and I haven't had any trouble with it. I use 2.1 and 1.6, fiddling with graphics settings until things work right for whatever game I'm emulating. I'd be happy to lend any other knowledge I can if you need! :) http://www.pj64-emu.com/downloads/project64/binaries/
Hyperkin GC/N64/SNES HDTV Cable This whenever it goes back in stock or you can get it from a 3rd party seller. I got mine for $30 retail. You can plug it directly into those systems. It works great and it doesn't have any flickering that I've experienced from other upscalers. Upscales to 720p
If not, then you can get any AV to HDMI converter (assuming you still have your AV cables).
With any HDMI converter, make sure you have a spare outlet to plug in a usb charger because it will need it's own power source. I unplug the power source when not in use to prevent overheating.
It seems the reviews are mixed on these 3rd party products but you'll need something with ports like these. One side connects to the GBA link cable port and the other connects to the GameCube controller port. It will work with the Wii as long as your Wii has GameCube controller ports (so no Wii Mini).
You may need hand strength and plenty of finagling to fit the fit metal prongs on the GBA side. I had A LOT easier time with the plastic prongs that were on the 1st party nintendo link cable compared to these 3rd party ones but I've gotten them to work regardless. Or maybe I just have baby hands.
Amazon I will say that it was difficult to put on and looks a little rough but that just might be me and my abilities lol ZOOMHITSKINS Cute Pink Cow Skins... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08D1W151W?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
+If you want to record audio through a DS (or almost anything you can plug headphones into), you just plug it in to a PC's mic port using a 3.5mm male-male cable, and record that mic channel with a program like Audacity.
Doing this by itself causes a lot of static, but using a ground loop noise isolator (like this) gets rid of that.
Hope this helps!
> take on an identity of it’s own.
No, they took the identity of a series that has been apart of many fans and banking on the unfortunate fans who don't do the research on the split. They even released a collector's edition guide of Light of Hope celebrating 20 years when they only been making their version of Harvest Moon since 2014. So I stand by my statement, Natsume is scummy as hell.
Surely it can't be that rare if I can buy it on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/%E7%89%A7%E5%A0%B4%E7%89%A9%E8%AA%9E-%E5%85%AC%E5%BC%8F%E3%82%A4%E3%83%A9%E3%82%B9%E3%83%88%E5%85%A8%E9%9B%86-%E3%82%B9%E3%83%BC%E3%83%91%E3%83%BC%E3%83%95%E3%82%A1%E3%83%9F%E3%82%B3%E3%83%B3%E3%80%8E%E7%89%A7%E5%A0%B4%E7%89%A9%E8%AA%9E%E3%80%8F%E3%81%8B%E3%82%893DS%E3%80%8E%E3%81%AF%E3%81%98%E3%81%BE%E3%82%8A%E3%81%AE%E5%A4%A7%E5%9C%B0%E3%80%8F%E3%81%BE%E3%81%A7%E3%81%AE%E5%85%A827%E4%BD%9C%E3%82%88%E3%82%8A-Anbitto/dp/4198634149 I don't know why the link is so long :/
It's available on Amazon for Pre-Order as well from X seed
Hello, I know there isn't really any good simulation games on PC like Harvest Moon.
Stardew Valley looks amazing I must say.
Back in 2013 I decided that I would create a simulation game that is inspired by games like Harvest Moon and Animal Crossing as these are my favourite simulation games of all time. I made a game called Farm Life: Natures Adventure which is currently released on Android https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.brettpenzer.FarmLife I'm planning to bring it to PC very soon with better features then mobile can offer. I have already made a couple of blog posts about it and you can also pre-purchase the PC version now. http://blockheadgames.co.uk
I recommend gettin Friends of Mineral towns as it is the best handheld game in my opinion, it is also perfectly suited for the portable style since it deals with pretty short days.
I have owned both an IOS and a Android so if you need help getting it to work you can always write something here and i will be glad to do a step by step. But for the Android version i recommend getting John GBA or picking one of the links that /u/FyreWhirl posted
